Greetings, Laddingtons.
I am no longer checking in from Jutonem.
Spring is incoming and I have looked forward to it.
I haven't really had the best winter, to be perfectly honest, so it will be nice to go into spring.
Waiting for the blessings of Helios as well.
So before I begin to elaborate, I would just like to encourage all humans who are watching this.

Just being honest here, just being honest with everyone.
Now on to the advice at hand and this is actually as the title suggests it's actually great advice.
Might sound a bit silly at first but there is a psychological reason behind it and I'm talking of course about making your bed or cleaning your room or whatever it might be.
So if we're talking about making your bed what it does in your brain is that it creates an easy victory an easy victory which will set a good momentum for the day.
So what happens when you in your brain you you score a victory, you complete an achievement.
So we can talk about porn for example my favorite example because it's so such a potent drug.
When you watch porn you trick your brain into believing that you've done something very good so therefore everything else becomes less in comparison.
Now if you make your bed you aren't actually tricking your brain because you have actually achieved something but the achievement in your brain is more than perhaps it actually is.
You know for anyone to make your bed it's not a big deal something you should do every morning but in your brain it's an achievement that sets a good tone for the rest of your day.
So you might say oh how will this aid me in being productive or happy or healthy?
Yes it's because you start off the day with a good momentum with a victory and much in life is based on momentum.
You know you have either an upwards going spiral or you have a downwards going spiral.
So you can talk about a downward going spiral.
This is quite common for a lot of guys when they they stop training for whatever reason their diet is also going Yeah, going down the drain, so to speak, because they lose that forward momentum.
Whereas, if someone starts training really hard, the diet and sleep, etc., it will also come along.
Same thing, that momentum, that upward spiral.
So, on one hand, you have easy losses to take.
An easy loss is to drink Coca-Cola or something, or watch porn, or yeah, it's something bad that makes you feel a bit guilty, you will feel bad with yourself, and then it's just a downward spiral and you feed into your you know bad self-esteem.
So, it can go both ways, and that's why you see a lot of people they are negative, unhappy, unhealthy, and they continuously in their routine, in their habit, they do bad things because they are setting a negative momentum.
Whereas, if you have a positive, upgoing momentum, starting with such a simple thing as making your bed, yeah, it creates an easy victory, it creates an easy momentum.
So, as I see it, you know, cleaning, making your bed, doing something small, productive, it's just to start a fire each morning.
Each day you do something, and then you have that sense of wow, now let's go, let's go, champ, let's go upwards and onward.
