The Golden One - Marcus Follin - No Drink December - Are You In? A Note on Alcohol and Drunkenness Aired: 2020-12-01 Duration: 06:07 === Stop Drinking Alcohol (04:59) === [00:00:12] Greetings Laddingtons. [00:00:14] I'm checking in from Mirkwood with some important insights. [00:00:20] Or perhaps not, perhaps this is just an encouragement. [00:00:25] I just want to say that you must stop drinking alcohol. [00:00:28] Any arguments to the contrary are totally invalid. [00:00:34] So anyway, I want to congratulate everyone for participating and hopefully completing No FAP or No Not November. [00:00:43] And since it is the 1st of December, Skadi hasn't blessed us with snow yet. [00:00:50] You have to go into the Temple of Iron and perform some repetitions in her honor, so she will bless us with snow. [00:00:57] But anyway, new month, new vice to push aside from your life. [00:01:05] You know, this is surprising to some, and I find it absolutely disgusting. [00:01:10] But apparently, there are adult humans who get drunk in the presence of children. [00:01:17] And apparently, this can happen on Christmas, during Christmas. [00:01:24] You know, I am a great poet, of course. [00:01:27] I've yet to release my collection of poems, but it will happen one day, I assure you. [00:01:32] But even as a great poet, I find it hard to put words on exactly how disgusting it is for someone to get drunk in the presence of children. [00:01:43] I would rather shoot myself in the head than to ever let my daughter see me drunk. [00:01:49] And I won't be drunk again anyway, so it doesn't really matter. [00:01:54] I haven't been drunk for 10 years. [00:01:57] Absolutely glorious, if anything. [00:02:00] Now, anyway, the rules are quite simple, as you might have discerned from the title. [00:02:06] Do not drink alcohol during this month. [00:02:10] And you can actually choose your difficulty level. [00:02:13] You have one difficulty level, which is to not drink any alcohol at all. [00:02:18] And the easier difficulty level is to not get drunk. [00:02:22] Now, a personal note on my relationship with alcohol. [00:02:26] It's never been problematic or anything. [00:02:28] Just, you know, a regular teenage guy drinking, getting drunk with his mates. [00:02:33] You know, so nothing special there. [00:02:35] My hostility towards alcohol during later years have more been because of, you know, historical insights or insights into society and how much damage alcohol has caused over the centuries. [00:02:54] For any woman who's watching this, if you I don't think any one of you would label yourself a feminist, but if you are, you know, if you analyze history from a female perspective, the greatest curse on females is probably male drunkenness. [00:03:15] So if you are a woman today, yeah, it can be a good idea to also push back against alcohol. [00:03:21] If there is anything that has been rough and hard for women over all these years, except for of course childbirth, etc. [00:03:29] But in terms of having a stable relationship and family, yeah, alcohol has been a curse and I would most definitely not want my daughter to end up with a guy who has, you know, you know, likes alcohol, to put it mildly. [00:03:45] In the culture I want to create alcohol as something for, you know, it's an outdated relic, not fit to live on. [00:03:55] So that's my own view on it. [00:03:58] And someone might say, Oh, it's a European tradition. [00:04:01] Yeah, getting invaded by Islamic forces is also a European tradition. [00:04:06] Doesn't mean we need to keep it absolutely detrimental to everything that is good. [00:04:14] Then, of course, you can drink alcohol. [00:04:17] I'm not an absolutist. [00:04:19] Every once in a while, I can have a beer containing alcohol or a glass of wine containing alcohol, but never ever would I get drunk. [00:04:28] So, that is my wisdom for the day. [00:04:32] And if you do want to participate in No Drink December, just comment below in, and then you will see a lot of comments, and then you will feel the urge to participate yourself. [00:04:42] It's the only reasonable course of action to do. [00:04:46] So, join. [00:04:48] And if you even think about drinking on Christmas in the presence of children, well, we're on YouTube, so I won't say too much, but I'm sure you will understand how I feel about you. [00:05:01] Comes as a surprise when I hear about these humans behaving in this way. [00:05:09] Absolutely, yeah, I don't even know. === Can't Put Words Into Thinking (00:55) === [00:05:11] I don't, I can't put words into just thinking about it. [00:05:17] But anyway, I don't want to blackpill anyone, so I will leave it at that. [00:05:22] Thank you for watching. [00:05:23] XXXO, boom! [00:05:25] Now, a last note before Christmas: if you want to place an order on Lego Gloria, which I definitely suggest that you do, otherwise, your family will be deeply disappointed. [00:05:39] I can't say for sure if you will receive your package for Christmas if you order today because the shipping times are so irregular. [00:05:48] But if you are in Europe, you can definitely still order. [00:05:50] If you're in Germany or Sweden, you can wait a week extra or so. [00:05:54] But otherwise, for all European customers, I would say today or tomorrow or something will be the last day to place an order. [00:06:02] So, do it, check it out. [00:06:04] First link in the description box below. [00:06:06] Now, thank you for watching.
