Today I want to talk a bit about how to deal with frustration and I will take this very personal example upon my YouTube dilemma or YouTube experience.
So I worked relentlessly for the last six years, it's over six years actually, and I've had one goal in mind, and that is to reach 100,000 subscribers here on YouTube.
And at the moment, I am at 96,000, and I've been at 96,000 for ages.
It feels like I've been there for ages, and that's because YouTube is doing something with my channel.
We can call it a shadow ban.
I know something has been up since, well, actually, last year, but as of late, during the recent purges, I've noticed that my channel doesn't grow.
I don't reach my own subscribers, I don't reach any new people.
And yeah, it's of course frustrating since I worked so hard.
And for those of you who weren't with me in the beginning, which is well, the majority of you, of course, I started from one subscriber.
I didn't have any movement behind me.
I didn't have anything behind me.
I started from just the beginning and then I climbed my way up from there.
Other guys might time things with certain movements or certain happenings, etc.
Then you have a quick boost.
I never had any such thing.
So when I say I worked hard, I truly mean it.
And when I do something, I'm very dedicated to it.
And I can also say that I've never given up on a single thing in my entire life.
Obviously, I won't give up on reaching my goal that I've had for such a long time.
But that being said, since I know that I can't really reach people as effectively anymore because someone at Google or YouTube has seen fit to try to strangle my channel, what can I do?
Yes, of course, I can do my very best to create good videos, which I am trying to do.
I'm trying to constantly better my videos.
Even though I'm shadow banned, I want to make this worthwhile for you all to see.
But that being said, it's also not a good idea for me to only focus on YouTube and only focus on how slowly things go.
So what I've done over well, the last two years maybe, and especially during the last year, it's I've really intensified my work on Ligio Gloria.
So now I can have some really, really aesthetic, high-quality clothes that I am very proud of having developed.
And yeah, you can see on the page, you can see the new polo shirts I've released.
Super happy with them.
And just as I've said, with the linen shirt and with the MMA shorts, it's a lot of development behind them.
And it's a product I am very proud to present.
So instead of just focusing on the YouTube dilemma, I can also focus on the things, supplements and clothes that I can, you know, just go forward like an unstoppable juggernaut.
I can just move forward with these things.
So the wisdom for the day is if you have something that you are passionate about, if you have a long-term goal that you really really want to achieve, it's also good to have other venues where you can focus your progression on.
So to take an example in the gym, maybe you want to reach a certain number in your deadlift, but for some reason it doesn't go.
Maybe you can focus on your squats then instead, so that you don't waste all your energy into something that isn't really yielding that much success.
Now of course I'm saying again, just as for me, I will not give up and I don't say that you should give up on your given endeavor, but you can also focus on something else at the same time so that you make progression at least in something.
So you have different goals that you can put in your effort into.
So that would be the best way to deal with frustration in my humble opinion.
So basically don't stare yourself blind at something a single thing, but also have other things you can try to progress into.
That way you can focus on those things and not become disheartened by the lack of progress.
And, of course, for me personally, even though the YouTube game is not going particularly well, I have so many other things to be happy about, my wife and my daughter, my companies, etc.
So a lot of good things which I can focus on instead of being angry and stressed about the YouTube game which, of course, it would be natural if I am.
But it's not productive for me to be focusing on all of these negative things.
So the game plan going forward is just to keep trying to make good videos, but also focus on other things that they actually can progress in.
So yeah, for you personally, if you are in a situation where you feel frustrated, try to adapt a stoic mindset.
Say to yourself, it is what it is.
Try to make the best out of the situation.
Try to make the best you can, but also focus on other things.
So that was my wisdom For the day.
Thank you for watching.
And yeah, if you aren't already subscribed, I would definitely appreciate if you do subscribe, see if we can try to get some growth after all.
