The Golden One - Marcus Follin - My New Year's Resolutions. Also a Note on the Black Pill. Book and Hunting Aired: 2019-01-01 Duration: 04:58 === Focus On Yourself (03:54) === [00:00:00] Greetings and salutations. [00:00:02] Happy New Year to everyone. [00:00:04] I thought to share my own two New Year's resolutions and it's thought to give you some thoughts into for the coming year. [00:00:14] Now first and foremost, I know that there are a good few guys out there who are feeling a bit black pilled about the situation in Europe and America. [00:00:22] And to you I would just like to say that even if you can't change the situation Overall, you can always change yourself. [00:00:31] So if you're feeling black pilled about the situation in Europe and America, focus more on yourself. [00:00:37] Focus on what you can do to yourself to improve your own life, your own individual, as it were. [00:00:44] And then when you have improved yourself, when you have leveled your game all through the mental, physical, martial, social, etc. you will be in a better position to change other things. [00:00:56] So point being, if you're feeling blackpilled, turn that into a glorious pill. [00:01:00] Embrace the quest of self-improvement. [00:01:03] Get good or get wrecked. [00:01:05] That is my profound wisdom for today. [00:01:08] So keep your head up and embrace life with a smile even though things might look a bit dark. [00:01:16] Now on to my own two promises. [00:01:18] Last year I had one of the promises I had was to finish my book and yeah, it is almost finished. [00:01:25] I just need to read through a bit more and finish up some chapters and then obviously it's a process to release it. [00:01:32] So I aim to have it released in March or April. [00:01:35] So almost there. [00:01:38] The second promise I have to myself and to my daughter is to get to obtain my hunter's license and the reason for this is beautiful in its simplicity. [00:01:51] I obviously want to be able to bring my daughter, my family, the best possible nutrition. [00:01:57] And I can do so in a morally reasonable way and that is to hunt. [00:02:04] Because in Sweden for example where I am at we have a unless we have hunters maintaining the wildlife we will have a surplus population of deer and wild boar and an overpopulation of a certain animal such as deer or boar will lead to detrimental effects upon the environment especially for said deer and boar. [00:02:25] So humans are needed to maintain that since there aren't any other predators do it in certain areas. [00:02:31] So that falls to humans to maintain them and for me personally if I can get a good high quality cheap source of food because you don't make as much financial gains as a political dissident I'm afraid to tell you all. [00:02:48] So if I can do that in a good way that is all the better. [00:02:52] And also this is absolutely not something I will enjoy in the least. [00:02:56] I will not enjoy killing an animal but here's the thing. [00:02:58] I'm not a vegan. [00:03:00] I'm not a vegetarian. [00:03:01] I eat milk and someone somewhere has to kill the animal. [00:03:06] If I don't want to get my hands dirty myself I have no right to eat the milk and this applies to you as well. [00:03:12] Unless you're a vegan, shout out to all vegans for keeping it real. [00:03:16] Unless you are a vegan or vegetarian you have no moral right to condemn others for killing animals because that is the way of nature. [00:03:25] It might seem a bit barbaric in the current year but it is what it is. [00:03:30] A dead animal meal comes from somewhere. [00:03:32] Getting to know that, getting to be responsible for that yourself is something that I think at least more men should feel themselves a certain connection that an animal has given his or her life to feed your family. [00:03:48] Obviously I will say this, I would enjoy killing a human that is hunting an endangered animal. === Course Action Needed (01:04) === [00:03:54] So keep that in mind. [00:03:56] A difference between you know hunting for the fun of it and hunting animals that should be protected and hunting to maintain a certain population. [00:04:05] So, no worries, I'm still a great friend of the animals, but we also have a responsibility to maintain the wildlife. [00:04:13] So, anyway, two promises: release my book and obtain the hunter's license so I can start hunting good, cheap, high-quality food for my daughter and for coming children. [00:04:26] That is the only reasonable course of action. [00:04:30] And yeah, I wish you all a very happy new year and I hope that you set the pace high. [00:04:37] View this as a unique opportunity to start with new routines, etc. [00:04:41] It might sound a bit cliché with this whole new year, new meal, but if you are, if you know you have things to improve on, you can do it now. [00:04:49] Whether it be your training, your diet, your reading game, whatever. [00:04:54] Start now. [00:04:56] So, thank you for watching. [00:04:57] XXO.
