Time Text
Greetings, proud sons of Sparta.
Welcome back to Hellas.
I just got back from the gym and I did a special session.
It was a there's a gym, not my regular gym, but another gym that I and a mate were visiting.
And they have an obstacle course there.
So two bloat max 100kg pale orcs were attempting to be a bit gracious.
So yeah, I actually filmed some of it as well.
So you might see it in a video.
Or if I just look very ungracious, I will not reveal it to the world.
But it was a fun training session anyway.
That is one Spartan mad cunt.
Actually, the father.
The Athenian dog Pericles fears you.
Powers in his Parthenon, surrounded by playwrights and sophists.
He dares not face you with honor on the battlefield.
He knows you are too strong.
He knows Athens' days in Margolis are numbered.
It is time to meet the father and have a few words, I suppose.
Dehi has blessed you, my friend.
You arrived in time to watch my Pater achieve a glorious victory.
Huh.
You can't be his son.
I heard his children died in Sparta many years ago.
He adopted me into his household after his previous family failed him.
I would never bring dishonor to him.
Sometimes things happen in a way that you don't plan or expect.
History has a way of remembering things strangely.
You talk as if you were there.
Maybe I was.
Nonsense.
You're too young to have witnessed such things.
But enough of the past.
Let's discuss the future.
What is a mercenary doing sailing into a war they aren't being paid to fight in?
Tell me why you're really here before I cut you down for wasting my time.
Alright, mate.
I've come to meet the wolf.
I've come to meet the wolf of Sparta.
You cannot simply meet with Nikolaos.
He has command of the entire Spartan army.
If you truly came all this way to meet him, you might be disappointed.
Are you sure you're in charge here?
You don't strike me as a typical Spartan.
Perhaps it's best if I just talk with Nicolaus.
A sense of humor is not a trait I see being useful for a self-sol if you're here to untrack me though.
I could make use of a capable mercenary.
The fleet might be destroyed, but Megaris is firmly in Athenian control.
We need to weaken their position if we are to take to the field and drive them back to Athens.
Alright, mate.
I am actually curious on what he can tell about our father.
Who is he?
Nikolaus, the wolf of Sparta.
He was impressed with my skill when I was a boy and took me under his wing.
He trained me himself and eventually adopted me into his house.
He is my father and mentor.
I live to make him proud.
Surely you've heard of me.
Just rumors, really.
I doubt they do him justice.
He is a great warrior and a greater general.
I would follow him to the gates of the underworld.
Tell me why you need a mercenary.
Why do you need a mercenary to do that?
You seem to have plenty of soldiers at your disposal.
It's not a question of manpower.
The Megarians are our allies.
We do not want to commit troops until we know victory is assured.
My scouts are already locating key targets that we can hit.
i'm ready to serve sparta together we will ensure that sparta is victorious you're a different kind of mystery aren't you You're just what we need to help deal with that meddling Athenian mercenary.
If we can draw the leader out and eliminate him, we will crush the Athenians on the battlefield and drive their forces all the way back to Athens.
Destroying their supplies, stealing their war chest, and killing their elite troops should leave him vulnerable.
Take this to my side.
Let's do it.
If you find them in the field, be sure to check for new information.
They might also have need of your skills.
I know what I must do.
I think I know what must be done.
Remember, every Athenian soldier you eliminate will also help us achieve victory.
And once I've brought the Athenians to their knees for Sparta, I'll get that meeting with Nikolaus, or you'll be next.
Send those Athenian dogs to Hades, Mistleos.
Do this, and the wolf will personally see to it that you are rewarded.
Conquering nations to meet thy father, Nikolaus, help Stentor conquer Megaris.
To do this, weaken Megaris' nation power enough to trigger the conquest battle.
Alright, that seems like a fun activity.
So we need to kill the nation litter.
Alright, portion control.
Let's get at it.
If I want to get close to the wolf, I'll have to help Stentor defeat the Athenians.
I shouldn't waste any time.
Theos captain.
Alright, let's do this.
Kind of a cool feature in an assassin's creed game.
Anyway, I thought to say that the level of devotion and loyalty the adoptive son shows there it's worthy of admiration.
You don't see that level of loyalty in the modern, liberal world.
Hello, bruv.
Talk to me.
What's up?
I'm a friend.
I'm a professional and a friend.
What's that supposed to mean?
If it had been me, I'd have been smart enough to try and hide the evidence.
Fair point.
Whoever did this was brazen and foolish, leaving it to be so easily discovered.
Or they wanted to send a message.
Stentor sent me.
I'm here to help wherever I can.
Stentor sent you?
Sparta doesn't fully control Megaris.
Yet it's easier for me to move freely in certain areas of Megaris than a Spartan.
The Athenians have proven more resilient here than expected, but they will not stand.
Before Sparta, yes, I've heard the speeches.
But until that glorious day comes, we should find out what happened here.
Do you have any ideas?
Not yet, but I will.
I should get a closer look to figure out what happened here.
And I start off by looting the place.
But, yeah, let's look at this site.
What might have happened here?
Perhaps this looks like they went this way into the forest.
What is that, even some sort of tracks, I suppose?
And we have a supply.
They can't have gone far, though.
They didn't use the carts.
I don't think I'll find anything else.
I should report back.
Hello, bruv.
Here is what my god says.
In what way?
There is no bodies.
At least not any assailants.
Athenians would have taken the carts and their dead, but bandits would have left their fallen in the dust.
Then who did it?
I'm not sure.
Whoever did this went into the forest.
So I'll start by looking there.
Let us call.
No, that was uh that was fast.
So, anyway, I um talked.
I opened this episode by talking a bit of the training session.
I have.
I wouldn't really call it a gym session, but I do have some got in some good grip strength and underarm for forearm, I mean, uh, training by doing a lot of this sort of activities, so climbing on ropes, um, etc.
Um, was like climbing wall as well.
Uh, quite fun, actually.
And the reason I wanted to do this is um quite simply because I have played Assassin's Grid.
Um, so uh, I do obviously adhere to my own teachings and utilize gaming as a motivation.
So, uh, in Assassin's Grid, as you see, climb a lot and do this sort of athletic things.
So then I thought I needed to do this with my own body.
Um, oh, hello, Wolfbru.
So, hence, the um the out of order.
Um training session, but um yeah, I might might make uh training video showing some of these clips unless of course I look like a complete bloat max pale orc Is this a private gathering or can anyone join?
What are you please?
Please, just leave what is going on with her that started with slaughtered spartans and stolen goods and ends with you and the supplies all hiding quietly in a cave.
We just took the food.
We didn't hurt anyone.
That looks extremely unnatural.
You'd better tell me why I shouldn't just kill you and return the goods, please.
I'll tell you anything you want to know.
Enough enough I didn't come here for a debate.
It's too late for talk now.
I came to find who's behind this crime against Sparta You're going to die one just punishment for your crime.
It was our food to begin with.
We either die here by your hand or slowly starve later.
If I am to die, I would rather die fighting That.
That looks completely out of order like what's what's wrong with your skin?
die unbeliever looks like a character in oblivion or something like that cause the features were clearly not matching the skin color A shame since we had progressed so far in in the story without me at least seeing anything that looked looked weird.
But this, this did not look good at all.
This kind of broke the immersion.
A bit of a disappointment, but oh well, I hope Jubisoft is watching this and take note that that character looked completely out of place.
Report to Dolios, anyway.
Anyway, I will not let that that detract from the enjoyment of the rest of the game.
I suppose, hello Brov, did you find the ones responsible?
I found your supplies with a bunch of hungry Megarians and they won't trouble you again.
Then it is good news, soon Meghara will be secured and we will push on to Athens.
They didn't do this alone.
There is more going on than we can see.
Don't worry yourself further.
The guilty have paid for their crime and that is what is important.
You have done well, Sparta.
Thanks you all.
Right mate, let's look at the other quest.
We have one man army, kill Athenian soldiers okay, but uh oh, look at that, come at me, bruh.
It had to be done.
It was the only reasonable course of action.
So I don't really know where even to um where to even begin here.
Uh the missing map.
No, that's something else.
The grave of Terius, so many fun things to uh to do here.
Alright, let us do something epic here.
Let us loot this.
Okay, perhaps not the most epic thing to just loot something, but we have to find some Athenian soldiers to illuminate to the teachings of Ares.
So, Megara.
I suppose we can find someone to illuminate.
Absolutely epic, we have leveled.
Let's see what fun things we can do here.
We could rush assassination.
Sounds cool.
I would want to get better at these sort of things.
Increase warrior damage by 20%.
Alright.
That sounds like the only reasonable course of action.
And speaking of which, we have aha, we have some mercenaries, etc.
There a lot of things to do.
I will see if I can initiate power gaming mode.
And then you know that I'm not as talkative.
Because I don't want to die and oh need to get out from here.
Hmm.
I think I might be a bit too unleveled for this.
And there is a distinct possibility that this episode then will be just running around, so I might do some sort of edit here.
Nice.
Alright, I will just make a run for it.
Alright, so what I will do, I utilize an editor.
What I will do is actually to do this mission off-camera, so to speak, and then I will check back in when I've progressed in the storyline because that's obviously more interesting for you all to see.
Alright, I am checking back with you all.
I actually increased the graphics again to see how the frame rate is working this time around.
So basically I've just been running around a bit, killing some Athenian soldiers.
I changed my aesthetics as well, as you might see here.
And I thought to game a bit more in this particular episode, so it didn't become so short.
Well, I have no idea how long this episode will be, but aha.
Yes, we have a mercenary on our hands.
So I will just try at least to destroy some supplies here and illuminate some heretics before Signing out Let's see if we can shoot this guy.
Ah, out of arrows.
Not good.
Not good.
I'm just gonna see if we can get a spark kick here too Ah nice I wanted to to get that in Alright what I might actually do is just do all of this off screen and check back when I have completed this entire area so that we get on with the storyline.
I think that is the most reasonable course of action, but I hope the episode has been somewhat enjoyable at least and yeah we'll try to make two more before getting back to my regular video routine because I have a good few videos that I've saved for the new year so we start off the new year with some good wisdom and perhaps an edict and perhaps some sort of challenge as well.
So anyway stay tuned for that.
