It's a holy moment for me because it helps me relax and truth be told it is needed to unwind and to relax every once in a while.
So anyway, I thought that we should just almost at least pick up where we left off.
So taken a turn or so and we have our gallant Lukir who will explore this ruin.
Highly epic if anything and we can do something fun with this as well.
So we're just gonna do that and take the turn.
So what we have to choose from here is if we want to recruit some units but we don't really want to do that because we can do it with our Lord Lukir instead.
Also these are really good.
So in the last episode when we had the epic battle against Lord Skrulkbra we utilized the bombardment abilities from the Dark Ark and these are upgrades from it.
However, what I will do is to increase the growth of the Black Ark because then the more growth we have the more we can upgrade the other things.
So I'm just gonna go boom like that and then we will take the turn and this settlement, it will fall, so we can just demolish this building for some additional income, and yeah, then we'll see what the crack is.
So, as I said in the last episode Druki, things make poor prey prey.
We stop dead killing them now.
Shall we accept this piece treaty?
I'm gonna see if they can actually pay us some.
We can actually trade with them.
Whoohoo, look at that.
Cunning and cruel.
I likes you elf thing.
Well, thank you Lord, Skrulk it.
It warms my heart to hear that you want to trade with me now.
You might wonder why I chose to do that, and that is simply because we want to expand at this in this particular direction, and I don't really think I could win in a boxing match with these lads as it is anyway.
So, as I was going to say, you were about to experience the hospitality of Karen's car.
Alright, come at me bra, and we're just gonna resolve that, because we can't win anyway.
Now let's see, as I was going to say, but I got interrupted about three times.
I've gone off coffee.
Saturdays are a bit special though, so I've actually taken a very small cup of coffee and I can definitely feel the caffeine doing its magic.
So it's, it's really potent.
So if you are addicted to coffee, or if you drink coffee on a regular basis, try to go off and then utilize it very rarely, because then you get both the benefits of sleep and, every once in a while, taking a cup of coffee.
So, to put this into context, today I've taken a very small cup, and before that I used to drink three or four cups a day.
So it's still a very small quantity, and tomorrow obviously, I won't have any more caffeine energy today.
So I thought to tell you all that now what we will do is These lads, I really hope he will not attack our gallant captain or Admiral Barsatar.
So what we're gonna do is actually we will sail away.
Speaking of sail away, actually from now I forgot the name of this particular German band, but they have a really good song called Sail Away.
So I will find it and link it in the description so that you can admire its melody as well.
And we will do something fun here.
Founded on tyranny.
That's absolutely great because growth always a good thing.
Because we obviously want to level this settlement as much as possible so we can fill all of these building stacks with fun things.
And yeah, I have been talking quite a bit already and not having done anything.
So let's do like this.
Search ruins because that's what our advisor told us to.
Cipher of the Old Ones.
Solving it will grant you many riches.
It appears that this is a numeric grid, where the rows and columns are of great importance.
Alright, so a cipher of the Old Ones.
Throughout the world, the old ones left vast troves of power for use by their most trusted servants.
To prevent such power falling into the wrong hands, they place wards and cryptographic locks over them.
As millennia have passed, this ward have weakened, but arcane locks remain.
To access the treasure, solve the puzzle.
The old one, Tepok the Inscrutable, never liked to repeat himself.
Okay, so he never liked to repeat himself, and but he has repeated himself there because he had two similar ones.
But I suppose it could either be a red tree thing or a purple, but we don't have any purple choices there.
So let's just go with this one.
Boom.
Puzzle succeeded.
Lucrefellheart.
Whether or not the old ones have guided your hand, you've solved the puzzle.
Some gold mark, always nice to have, and a Hydra banner.
Charge bonus.
Okay, that will be absolutely awesome.
And I must say that if anyone in Creative Assembly is watching this, I yet again must tip my pickle hub at you because this sort of things that you incorporate into the game, it definitely adds the immersion of it.
So we are here in Lustria and we search for treasures.
So having puzzles in games definitely a great addition to any game.
And this can be said for Assassin's Crid as well.
So anyway, we'll colonize it next turn.
Now hopefully this will not take our settlement.
Then we are out on thin ice indeed.
But, uh, let's, um, let's upgrade you and hope that they do not attack us.
So, yeah, basically, the more, uh, I got interrupted again.
Um trade agreement.
They want payment.
Let us see if we can actually get away on low.
Aha.
They they really needed those 400 gold from me.
But maybe next time I can ask them for treaty.
And I always get interrupted when I try to elaborate on something.
So yeah, what I was going to say is that the sort of extra game mechanics.
The altar of the horned rat is known to house such treasures.
The altar is but a verminous nest.
The skaven corrupt this place of power.
Rid them from these ruins and secure the scrolls for your own cause.
Capture and occupy.
Boom.
Alright.
And now the point of view got a bit messed up.
I will correct that.
Okay, yeah.
Ritual resource site.
Anyway, now I will try to just say what I was going to say without getting interrupted.
The more game mechanics, the better.
So well done, CA.
Now the question, of course, remains if we can actually yeah, of course we will take that settlement, but first let me just do the following.
See what the crack is here.
I can't really defeat any foe in battle, so we'll have to wait.
Treasure, a thousand.
Okay, that's good enough.
And these guys, they should be my friends because they're my dark elf brothers, but I'm afraid the dark elf psyche is a bit different than that.
So, what's the crack?
We'll colonize this particular settlement and then we will colonize this one and then we have the entire region.
So that is perfect, I suppose.
We can recruit some units as well, but I don't really want to spend more money on them because our upkeep is quite high as it is.
And what we could actually do is we could merge these units and boom there are income per turn has increased quite a bit.
We can do the same thing here.
Boom.
And the same thing with this.
So I'm merging the units without any unit rank so we don't lose the experience from the better units.
So anyway, enough talking.
Let's take a turn.
Boom.
With the might of the Blessed Dread, you cannot stop me!
Ooh, look at that!
You're cruel.
We're cruel.
Great match match.
Yeah, absolutely.
Thank you, based Lord Skrok.
I actually love Lord Shrolk now.
Great guy, terrific guy.
This has been the greatest trade deal in the history of trade deals.
Speaking of something else, a really fun thing.
You've probably seen my talk with Survive the Jive.
It's quite a long video we made earlier this year.
And then my man, Alex Strongman, he was actually with us when we made that.
So he was the first spectator of the episode, so to speak.
And in the end, just before we stop recording, he shouts first.
And then we start laughing.
It was hilarious because you always get the first comments.
So that is good crack.
See location of interest.
Aha, I have to.
Let's see if I can.
I have to sail here, but in a normal speed.
So that is what's up.
Anyway, that was just something I thought about for some reason.
I don't know why.
Right, let us commence another puzzle, I suppose.
So this episode is more about puzzles than it is about killing Scavenger, I suppose.
Okay, so I've actually stumbled upon one of these before.
Dial of the old ones.
To access the treasure, solve the puzzle.
The old ones believe that alignment is all.
So what we have to do is simply turn this so it's straight and then see which of these can be aligned.
So basically we have to find the two of these combinations which can be put into where this might be.
So for example we can see that the yellow one will go basically straight down.
Boom.
And a bit to the right, but it will still be on this one.
So and that will be aligned with this.
Boom, boom.
So one to the side.
Boom, boom.
Do we have any of this?
Yes, we do.
So it must be this one, and the other thing must be this one.
So I am taking a wild guess, or not a wild guess, an estimation of the puzzle.
Boom.
Puzzle succeeded.
Luker fell hard.
The old ones, perhaps the old ones actually like us.
Because we have seen fit to bring destruction to the modern world.
Sort of like the League of Shadows in Batman.
I will actually make some sort of video about the Batman films because they're quite interesting from our traditionalist perspective.
Harem Keeper, what's your pleasure, sir?
Hmm.
Yeah, I suppose that's that's good to have a Harem Keeper.
And then we'll colonize this.
So yeah.
Not much battles in this episode, but I hope I will compensate by being very talkative at least, and I give credit to the Caffin for my performance in as a commentator.
Now, speaking of something else, comment below what you will train, or what you have trained today.
So that will be the classic.
If you have watched this far, comment and that is then what, what you will train.
Now let's see.
I don't really want to go and take this at regular speed, but actually I do because it's so close so I can run away afterwards.
Boom, you will face a foe in battle.
But no we, since we don't have any troops, we can't really do that.
Okay, hidden pirate co.
Deciding to wait for the pirates to leave the area, you dropped anchor a safe distance from the cove behind some neighboring I islets, islets.
After the black ship departed, you led your troops into the cold, damp enclosure where you managed to find a few sacks of loot, but most of it has been taken away in the black ship.
No risk, little reward, that is true.
Now, full speed away from this place, because the bigger Dark Elf fleet is here somewhere and I don't want to get caught by them, because then all our upgrades will be lost to the ages.
So we will do this, boom, colonize province, secured noise mate, so create that.
And aha, I must upgrade that first, I suppose.
And where can we actually even expand here anymore?
I would want this settlement Citadel Of Dusk.
Then we'll have to box with this lad, and that is actually something that we could do.
So yes indeed, that would be beneficial to do.
So what I'm thinking about doing here is actually fast forward, so I will take a few turns and then check, check back in with you.
So I will do that right back.
Alright, I'm checking in a bit before I thought I would, because we have some fun things to do.
So our main citadel I can't even pronounce that and I won't try.
We can do something fun here.
Dark Elf Harbor obviously perfect growth plus 20 and income generated 400.
That is absolutely what we want to do, and here we have a good few fun things to that we can recruit.
But I think we actually will go with this one gold mining pit instead, 600 income generated per turn.
And that's more important at this moment because we don't really have all too much income there and we do want to initiate some sort of, some sort of a boxing match with with these lads.
So We'll have a full stack there, or I mean fully healed next turn.
So, I will go down here with this guy so we get our bombardment abilities and then I will try to initiate some fights.
So, I will be right back yet again.
After, of course, I have chosen some sort of fun thing here.
And Revel in Suffering growth 15% or continuous slave supply or public order.
I think we'll actually go with continuous slave supply or actually growth because we need yet again to get as strong as possible in the settlement.
So, anyway, I will check back in a few turns.
Now, finally, taking some turns, and we can recruit this units.
And we will have a full stack if we just recruit three more units, and that will have to be some swordmen.
I suppose.
So, there we go.
And then, town return after that, we can initiate aggression against these high elves.
So, then we might finally get a battle in this particular Saturday Kung Fu gaming episode of Tranquility and Joy.
Now, then, we will simply do the following: boom, we'll march straight at them and see what the response will be.
We can research something fun here as well.
And we're gonna go with continuous slave supply cash captured post-battle plus 15%.
That's absolutely perfect for our purposes.
And we will have our rebellion on our hands here.
Absolutely blasphemous, if anything, but it is what it is.
Destroy the following factions: Southern Sentinels.
Oh, okay, that might take a while though, since we're occupied with this with our estranged brothers, the high elves.
So, anyway, I took the turn and saw that the rebellion Sud means south in Swedish.
And that's good because this settlement is obviously better equipped to deal with the rebellion than the other ones because we have a bigger garrison and we have this madcunt admiral there who can support.
So, anyway, finally, they were probably be quite hard to build this since they have the garrison there.
But I'm doing it for the views, for the YouTube views.
Not that I get particularly many on this Let's Place, but anyway, it's a sign of respect for everyone who is watching.
So, uh-huh, this might be a bit hard to build outnumbered, but we do have the bombardments and we do have the Hydra banner, and that will obviously go to our Feral Manticore.
So, yes, let's take the battle nonetheless.
And you can see absolute aesthetic high elf love the elven aesthetics.
Obviously, our mad count here as well.
So, anyway, with that said, let's get into the battle.
So we do have the advantage that all of their armies, or all three of them, are coming at separate times.
So we can overwhelm them individually.
And hopefully they will not have their armies coming in the flank or in the rear.
Because that will obviously put our battle line in a precarious situation, especially since we have so many archers.
Basically, if we see the battle line, we have three units of melee infantry and obviously Lokir himself.
These dark elf corsairs can be used as both, but as you can see, they are also ranged.
And then the rest is obviously ranged as well.
And then we have our flying monster who can perhaps chase down some of their more flexible units if they have those.
So, boom, we are in the game, and it looks like it's taking place in the night.
And what we'll do first and foremost is to take away the skirmish mode here so that they don't break ranks.
And we can see that the reinforcements are coming from that direction.
So, what we can do is simply straighten up this line, boom.
We're gonna keep the Manticore hidden until further notice.
And these guys as well can be a bit hidden so they don't get shot at because they are quite valuable to deal with their spearmen.
Anyway, boom, let's start the battle and see what the crack is.
I'm going to speed up the battle until we see what is up.
Okay, so they outnumber us quite quite a bit, as you can see up there.
And we have a good advantage of the grounds here, but I suppose they might actually just form up and expect us to come to them.
But we have found something fun here.
We've found a legal claw both thrower.
And I do not want that particular unit to do anything.
So we're gonna hunt him down directly.
And that can actually be what triggers this.
So Cane Slash.
Gonna see if we can time that.
Boom, perfectly timed.
Not that it did all too much good, but anyway.
They will obviously want to defend their bolt thrower here.
So we will take the opportunity to attack them while they are central, so they don't go up here in the jungle and hide away.
And he has rampage, so he'll probably die, to be honest.
But it is what it is.
It's worth it to get this to initiate the combat because we are the aggressors, so we need to be we need to come at them, so to speak.
Dark Shards placed there so they can get some cool flank shots and then we will just try to utilize our missile advantage to the best possible ability.
Now obviously I wish very much that we had some sort of cavalry so that we could deal with their archers, but it is what it is.
Lukir, you will have to deal with their great eagle because that's a quite strong unit indeed.
We always had the eagle of superior morals in the last Let's Play campaign.
Highly popular unit.
And now they have an eagle of superior morals.
So we'll try to see if we can kill him.
And our Manticore is gone, unfortunately.
But as I said, it's worth it.
Suffering for all.
A good motto, I suppose.
And it's very good that they're so centered there.
Okay, so the eagle is trying to get away.
And there we have the Prince, Hyalf Prince.
And would be good, Lukir, if you could kill this eagle and then slay their general.
And we have yet another Prince.
Right, Lugir, you have to get back to action immediately.
I think we will actually lose this battle, but that will have to be.
It will have to be worth it for the views.
And then I can take the revenge in the next episode.
Okay, Lukir, where are thou?
Ah, he's getting charged by the eagle again.
But okay.
kill him.
This was silly of me.
I, um...
I lost decisively.
But it is what it is.
So as you can see, we lost quite a bit of troops.
Our Manticore actually survived.
That's nice.
So what we can do is simply retreat, deal with the rebellion, and then come back for the revenge.
And the revenge will then be in the next episode.
Right, there we are.
Decisive defeat.
And find me a slave to kill, but that's not a very good way to deal with your losses, Luke here.
Anyway we can actually do like this.
Boom.
No!
Such a noob mistake of me.
I should have taken the other road so we could get into our own territory and restock.
We are getting replenished a bit though because we're within the arc of this.
Anyway, thank you for watching and I will make another video well perhaps today actually because we need to get the revenge on these lads.
