The Golden One - Marcus Follin - Kingdom of Asturias: The Reconquista. Total War: Attila. (Last) Part 12 Aired: 2016-03-28 Duration: 09:13 === Last Episode Reflection (08:42) === [00:00:00] Greetings warriors of Christ and welcome back to the last episode of our glorious Reconquista. [00:00:10] Now I took a good few turns since we since the last episode. [00:00:16] Not a good few turns, because nothing really much happened, but I just consolidated my power, saved up some shekels right there and, you know, had a few more here to deal with, but there was no epic battles that you missed actually. [00:00:33] So I just thought to to not film that so we can have this, this last episode, to reflect upon things. [00:00:41] So what I'm gonna do, first and foremost, as someone commented in the last episode, quite right in that this area stood out as a sore spot, so we're gonna do like this now. [00:00:59] And it actually has costed us 2000 shekels right there to colonize. [00:01:06] I didn't. [00:01:07] I didn't realize that. [00:01:08] I thought it would be much more expensive. [00:01:11] Oh well, we can build fun stuff with it. [00:01:14] Now we have all of Spain, except for this little Girona, so I'm just gonna roll up there and do that right now. [00:01:21] Boom, boom and boom and there we are, the. [00:01:31] The reconquista is complete. [00:01:34] Maybe a bit of a an anti-climax there, but it is what it is. [00:01:40] It is what it is, so I could probably go up here and take Ugril. [00:01:44] Now you see here, seven turns left, and that is seven turns until I get this at 35 plus Imperium points are yours, which will then ensure our victory, basically. [00:02:15] So that is. [00:02:16] That is what's up in all actualty. [00:02:19] Now we can obviously convert a few things here and I'm gonna take the turn there and just talk and reflect upon things. [00:02:35] Really nice campaign. [00:02:36] This has been actually obviously very much in line with current happenings in Mother Europa with, you know, a rapid demographic transformation of Europe, which is very disturbing because failed economic policies, etc. [00:03:03] You can you can revert within generation, but when we're talking about demographic issues it's not that easy to to reverse. [00:03:26] So that's obviously highly blasphemous, and thus it was a righteous thing to commence this epic campaign and, you know, as an historic game, I think it's it's important to to learn about these epic battles. [00:03:55] Oh, look at that. [00:03:56] They have a good view, arms there, maybe they, maybe they can actually fight with us there, I don't know. [00:04:05] We're gonna take the turn again here so we actually get to the end there, So we get the victory, I suppose we do. [00:04:22] At least I think that is enough for the kingdom of Asturias to just take to retake Iberia. [00:04:29] But yeah, as I was gonna say, having these historical games very important to teach out history, I suppose in a fun way. [00:04:44] I know some traditionalist minded guys, especially older guys, have a bit of a an aversion towards gaming and yes some, some part of gaming obviously can be quite bad, especially kind of grinding games without much of a history behind them, and obviously gaming can be too much. [00:05:14] But gaming can also bring bring out the best in you, if no, but you know, with with a good teacher of history at least. [00:05:28] So if you, if you pick the right games, it's a very good and glorious thing indeed. [00:05:44] So yeah, I'm gonna utilize a little edit right here and So we get closer to the last turn and then I'm just gonna take that So be right back. [00:05:58] All right, I utilize edit there. [00:06:02] So two turns left and then I suppose we will win. [00:06:06] I'm not sure, but that will at least conclude the this glorious campaign. [00:06:11] And, as you see, we have all of Spain there, and that's the reason for that. [00:06:22] Now I wanted to ask you all, what do you want the next let's play campaign to be? [00:06:32] And also, as I said before, that I do let's play videos does in no way, shape or form mean that I do less of any other videos. [00:06:44] It just means that I have more videos in total. [00:06:48] So it's not that I decide oh, now I'm gonna make this really cool political video or this really cool training video, that I skip doing those because I'm gonna do a let's play. [00:07:01] That's not the case. [00:07:02] This is like my gaming time also. [00:07:05] It's just that I talk and make a video out of it for anyone who wants to chill, watch that or listen to it a bit. [00:07:21] So I just want to have it said. [00:07:23] They're not like competing with each other and those two different genres of videos. [00:07:32] Alright cool, let's take the turn there and see if we actually win now. [00:07:43] Otherwise I suppose I'll just have to proclaim victory either way. [00:07:51] But yeah, comment below what do you want to see. [00:07:55] It can be another game, perhaps the Mage of Empires 2, maybe do one of those campaigns. [00:08:00] That would be six episodes each, I suppose. [00:08:06] Okay, no, we didn't actually win. [00:08:12] Now. [00:08:14] But I suppose this will have to be the end of the episode either way. [00:08:26] Thank you very much for watching and commenting and listening, etc. [00:08:31] So, drop a comment below what you want to see next. [00:08:35] It can be a different total war campaign, it can be a different game, it can be whatever really. === Glory To The Brave Spanish (00:31) === [00:08:42] So, glory to the brave Spanish and Portuguese men who reclaimed their land after several centuries of oppression and maybe all draw strength from them. [00:08:57] Highly inspiring tale, and I suggest that everyone read up of the history of the Iberian peoples who fought back against the southern Muslim invaders. [00:09:10] And who am I? [00:09:11] I'm the warrior of Christ.
