Time Text
Greetings you proud sons of Rome Now I did not quite pick up where we left off last time actually because I've taken the turn and what I did was I just took Verona and I also took Elusa so that is basically what I did and then I've built a lot of stuff and just admired my or our empire I should say and that is basically what we've done.
Also managed our defensive alliance with Gaia Tulians.
So that's actually what is up.
Now I had to declare war on the Alans because they were allied with the guys who were in this settlement.
So now they actually have a little fleet there and we only have a quite minor garrison there.
So I'm gonna hire some mercenaries so we could go with two units of those or one units of those no I'm actually gonna go with those.
Boom, so we get a bit more defense and I'm gonna take the turn and then talk you through my plans.
So yes, this is actually the last episode.
He's gonna take a glorious sip of coffee.
Ah nice, and as I expect okay yeah, they have some reinforcements.
Okay, I'll elaborate later on why.
This is the last episode, but we have a good fight on hands and the glorious garrison, so this might actually be an even fight.
They have, you see, the balance of power there is in their favor, but you know it is what it is.
Yes, as I was saying, this is the last episode because I'm gonna show you later on that we don't really have that many threats left.
The Western Roman Empire has basically fallen and we can just steamroll everything and we're allied to everyone.
So I'm quite confident and secure in our position and I think we have done the deed, as it were.
We have claimed Rome for ourselves, basically conquered all of Italia, some of the south of Gaul and and yeah, that's the reason.
So I am to get some more excitement, I'm thinking about starting another campaign and I would obviously be very happy to hear your thoughts regarding what that campaign might be.
I might start a let's play series of a non total war game as well.
Space Marine, I'll probably do a series on, because we haven't really had any like more role-playing game in a while.
So yeah, that is one thing I'll probably do.
Then maybe Wrath Of Sparta, but I leave that up to you as well.
But yeah, to to conclude, it feels like we have done this campaign now, as it were, and now we have a glorious last battle and a lot of cavalry coming from there, have a glorious tower, and we're gonna defend that to the end of days.
I don't suppose they can get through here so I'm gonna keep those units there and Come at a dent days Perhaps unit there as well But yeah, I thought this, this campaign has been really fun either way.
I I really enjoyed um playing and recording it in all actuality.
But i'll elaborate more on that later on, because now I need to focus on defeating these Hinius bastage.
And this is quite quite, um quite cool.
Like, now we are the new Romans defending against the barbarians, as it were.
Alright, cool.
Let's start the battle and see what the crack might be.
And god what are they doing?
The enemy they are.
They will get butchered here now.
Glory to roam.
look at that look at a mass of uh of soldiers i'm just gonna get those uh these guys here quickly also to reinforce No, I will not claim that one, by the way, i'm gonna try to get their uh, their general there instead of Tentis.
And god I, I love uh these Roman units.
They're, uh, they stand quite firm.
Okay, there comes their um, the enemy units.
I might withdraw to my um, to our little main fortress here in all actuality, all right, but really cool that we got a glorious fight here in the last, uh last episode, and if we lose it, i'm sure it will be a quite easy task to retake this settlement.
If they even take it, they might just uh, they might sack it or something.
All right, I suppose we'll have to defend this and this, and good god, they haven't really taken any cut casualties whatsoever.
Let's admire the god.
What a slaughter Mirin.
I almost feel sorry for them, but they are insolent barbarians and they shouldn't have disrespected us by being so blasphemous as to attack us.
Love it, this is total war.
is highly glorious with that said i am wondering oh Little assault ships, I almost forgot them.
Might actually be a good idea to withdraw these guys.
I'm gonna see what they have here.
They have some little dogs, which obviously won't be much of a problem.
but they have a lot of missile units.
Now, you know what?
I'm gonna withdraw.
Withdraw men quickly now.
Because we have the high ground here, and that's what I am after, and then we can reach them with our...
Oh god, they have spent ammunition.
Fuck.
Well, heavy warhounds Should have turned those around before.
I didn't see that.
Oh well.
Glory to Macedon.
God, I wish they would have made an Alexander DLC for Rome too.
That would have been awesome.
That would have been awesome indeed.
Hide them there.
And let's see what can be done now.
Comrade Tentes gonna defend right there.
And you will defend right there.
And with you there.
Scout Equities.
God, I love these Roman units.
Highly glorious.
Right, so we have a tight battle on our hands.
Just how I like it, and we can probably go with heavy shots there.
Boom.
And for you as well.
Boom.
Boom.
Heavy shot.
And fire at this bastard.
Ah, hello, general.
How are we today?
I might just have to kill you for your insight.
Did we have barricades?
Oh yeah there they are.
God I don't want to charge into the pikemen there.
We will have to be careful, true friends, so that we don't get in there.
Okay, they got their lives.
They got wrecked there.
Alright, quickly get away from there.
Oh god, I was too slow.
I should have been more careful.
I'm sorry, Scout Equitis.
It was poor leadership of me, I'm afraid.
And we have another general.
How quaint.
The studo has been totally destroyed.
Alright, it was that.
Oh, that's fine, I suppose.
Alright, let's get the rear charge here.
Now, man.
Hello, dogs.
How are we today?
Quickly!
Follow!
Let's just get into them.
Glory to Macedon.
Boom!
Ah, lovely.
Lovely rear charge.
Let's see if our units are doing something like me I mean, this is really fun now.
We have the Roman units and they are the barbarians.
Ah, wonderful.
Thank you for that.
And hopefully the other general will soon perish as well.
Alright, cool, this is a wonderful day.
This battle should be in our hands now.
I do want to run away with the cavalry, because I need to chase down these...
These bastards.
I'm gonna take these guys, place them there.
See if we can deal with these guys in some way.
But you see the balance of power, we should actually have this battle right now.
How dare they flee before my very eyes like that.
Ah, look at that, don't they?
Germanic nobles.
Ah, look at that.
They are all fleeing.
Wonderful.
Yes!
Ah, nice.
Heroic victory.
How most glorious.
Yes, they got wrecked.
Thank you, based settlement.
Yeah, Roman units as defenders.
Absolutely love it.
But they fought valiantly, so I'm gonna take on those warriors.
Bye.
Alright, my introduction got well I seem expected them to attack there because they weren't in proximity, but my little introductory speech was interrupted nonetheless.
So, as I was saying last episode, right now, but I've really enjoyed this let's play and that it went so well after all despite the our humble beginnings, shall we say.
So that was really nice.
And for all of you to comment also as usual, thank you very much for supporting the campaign with the likes and comments and views etc.
And if you have subscribed you to it also and Yeah, I'm um I will upload this and I will actually be away when it is uploaded so it's like a scheduled video but when I get back I'm looking forward to reading the comments and see what what kind of let's plays or campaigns you would like to see next.
Now as I do try to make a video every day, I try, it's quite hard sometimes because you know life in general can get in between but I'll try to keep one gaming like one game or one campaign going at all times so and as usual it's not like I'm taking time out for other videos because I would game either way because I really like gaming.
It motivates me and makes me happy.
So, with that said, I will make some sort of new let's-play.
And it can obviously be in Attila, Rome, or another game.
And the Space Marine Warhammer 40k will probably make some videos.
Alright, so we got a good few rebellions, but we have a quite strong military might also, so it's just a matter of chasing them away and doing such fun.
But I suppose we have solidified our empire gains quite well.
So we're gonna look at.
This is how our empire is looking, quite powerful, quite solid indeed, Imperium Inspiring, all right cool, and Vitericus, obviously still our undisputed champion, and look at the amount of influence, for is looking,
looking rather glorious.
There we are boom, highly glorious indeed alright cool, but uh, but yeah, that that was the last episode And yet again, thank you very much for watching.
And leave your comments down below.
And I'll be looking forward to reading them.
And who am I?
I'm the proud inheritor of Rome.
