My channel's main focus is on self improvement, bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman, culture, gaming, books, politics etc.
And let me first of all talk a bit about why I chose to make this video right now.
I haven't been making that many videos as of late because I've been quite busy, to say the least, with my studies.
And then I know quite a few subscribers will get mad at me for not posting some gym footage or a video log or against Kitchen, etc.
And let me just be clear with two things regarding that.
The first thing is that the time limit, I have been very busy with my studies.
To film and edit a video log takes a lot of time.
To make against Kitchen also takes a good bit of time.
And to make a cool gym video takes a bit of time.
And I haven't had the time.
That just ways I don't have unlimited hours of each day.
But for me to make a Let's Play, this episode will be like 20 or 30 minutes where I can take a study in my breaks and then just load in the audio file and the video file in Premiere Pro, render it and upload it.
So for me the effort is so much less for me to do just a cool Let's Play and then I get to game a bit which I should have done either way because even if I have a very intense study period I always take time to game a bit so I don't because it's really hard to focus an entire day without taking breaks.
So for me I do take breaks.
I do that even without YouTube, even without making a Let's Play I will take the time to game.
So I thought to make one video at least and I know that most people probably have preferred a gym video or whatever but to be effective with the time it's more beneficial for me to just do one video at least which I have the time to make.
And then also an advice which basically every YouTuber is giving is that you should always look at what you want to do yourself and not constantly go with what gets the most views or likes etc.
So you make the videos which you kind of want to make yourself like.
So with that said I think this might be the last episode I make with the geats and obviously I started this campaign when Attila was out and because I was so excited for Attila and I choose the Giats to just take a moment to elaborate a bit on my own heritage etc.
But the plan was never to make like a divine victory kind of kind of campaign with it.
And since I started this campaign when it was new I didn't really know that much about the whole gameplay so we're gonna look at some some things that we haven't really looked at before.
I saw now that we have a Latin shrine.
Now you see it grants 3 plus in public order but also maintenance costs minus 200 in gold and we can dismantle that so we save windows that kind of money.
And then also the family tree and we have the glorious dog.
He is deceased now but that's that's how it is.
We have this fine gentleman want to Seek a wife, but he hasn't enough influence.
This guy, however, let's uh let's get him to have a loving wife.
And then do we have this guy also?
You see, the family tree is quite a big family here.
And obviously, we want we want many children, so we're gonna go with a wife for him as well and for him and can look and see if the okay.
So, everyone is loyal, that's good, that is good.
Can we wed you to someone Olafer tribal chief?
That seems like a good match for her.
Gauti has died, so she has to have a husband to take care of her needs as a woman.
And this guy, Gautric, that looks like a glorious, glorious Viking indeed.
He's also gonna look for a wife.
So, this episode became much like a matchmaking episode where we try to find wives and husbands for the because everyone is so keen on dying all the time.

Cool, so now we have sorted that out.
I didn't really know enough about this when I started the game, and also these guys are really really important to to promote for extra benefits when it comes to the gameplay.
So, we're gonna try to okay, he's already up there, but this guy, okay, cool.
Um, then we will also look at the victory conditions.
I didn't look at this at all.
See, minor victory, survive until spring 425.
So, um, this is quite easy, and this should be quite easy as well.
Only four different fleet units.

But yeah, I just wanted to look through those kind of things, and we can actually look at some other things as well.
Might be interesting that we didn't really think of.
We can look at where is religion that is always interesting religion.
There we are.
So, see the green here, Germanic paganism, which is obviously in the Germanic areas, as it were.
So, good old Scandinavia, northern Germany, and what do our Celtic paganism, of course, and the Greek or Roman paganism.
Ah, love it, love it.
So, these are the different cool paganisms.

Latin Christian, okay, down there.
Sanitation, immigrants, low food, and obviously, yeah, Attila also portrays the climate change during this time historically, where the soil become less fertile up in the north, which is basically why a lot of northerners invaded the south.
This is here rich soil down here in the southern Gaul and Miger up here.
No place is really infertile yet, but Miger here.
So, it's easy to understand why you would go away from there.
Lindum can take there.
We will expect problems from them.

How quaint it was to get a final battle here.

Gonna try to hold on either way against the bloody Saxons.

Very, very fun campaign, I must say.
Probably my one of my favorite total war campaigns with the Saxons.

What we want to do?
When I started Attila, I underestimated the towers.
i'm not gonna do that now which is why i'm gonna try to hold on to the towers a bit at least And they're coming.
There's their general Nordic raiders will be mercenary Saxon lancers.
Okay, place you there and run into the forest, and we're actually gonna keep the fight at the towers here.
Usually I would stand up here in the hill, but I'm gonna try to look at the possibility of defending our settlement there now.
Men of the North.
Love it and obviously we don't we don't really have any Okay, that's Gautric fuck he we don't want him to die Not at all
Troll spearman and a troll is obviously a kind of a slave Okay, we don't we don't have any good good units to be honest which is sad Two warlords there.

I hope they will release a patch soon enough so that it becomes a bit more optimized.

Wish we could have two watchtowers in the decider that you can just pour missiles onto them.
And it's a proper mess of people standing hacking away at each other.
Alright, truffens, I utilized another edit.
It was a long grind fest there between our units.
But now, Gautric, Nordic Warlord, Heavy Melee Infantry have committed a heinous transgression against the martial code and they have broken.
And it is a shameful display to say the least.
So yeah, a loss in this episode.
But yeah, we didn't really stand any chance that there will be valiant defeat.
They went to Valhall at least.
Some of them.
some of our men, so yeah, a loss of that settlement I suppose.
See if they will sack it or raise it or occupy it.
It would be interesting.
Oh, for the love of God.
Alright then.
They elected to be busted and destroy our lovely settlement there.
That was unpleasant to say the least.
The Saxons will have to pay for that heinous crime.
And our Empire, obviously, if you can refer to it as such, is quite widespread and not really solid in any place.
But that's how you're supposed to play the Norsemen with the raiders and plunderers, etc.
So speaking of Speaking a bit about the intro at least of this video, I would like you to answer who you liked.
This was the last episode of this campaign.
If you would like to see more episodes of this, or I'd rather start a new campaign, I will start when my studies finish.
I will start a Western Roman Empire campaign on very hard again, but where I actually do everything right from the beginning.
So that's one campaign I will succession.
I will commence.

So might make one with the Goats, or one in Rome, Total War or or The Witcher or whatever like.
So so feel very welcome to come with some some contrast, constructive critique.
And then also I am quite excited to hear your opinions on the following, I've also watched a few let's plays now from Attila, from the Rambler and Warrior, Sparta, mainly.
Also Lionheart watched watch his Saxon campaign actually, and I actually thought it was.
The more interesting part was the, the gameplay in in this map, instead of the, the battles.
When I first started making let's plays of Total War, I was like okay cool, now we're gonna get as many field battle scenes as possible, so I can, so it can become a bit action, but then I suppose it can be more interesting to watch the overall strategic strategy in in the campaign per se.
So I would be very interested to hear your opinions on that.
In that matter, regarding what, what is most interesting and what you want to see more of because, as I always say, like for me to develop myself, as you know a youtuber, let's player person in general I need your constructive criticism.
So anything just let me know, anything I can better myself at, or just regular advice.
So the last thing I'm going to do in this Let's Play series is I'm going to sack this settlement.
