The Golden One - Marcus Follin - The Museum Visit Aired: 2015-03-28 Duration: 04:05 === Ancient Physiques Revealed (02:13) === [00:00:04] Greetings students. [00:00:06] Juicy. [00:00:07] I'm with my main crew. [00:00:09] We're actually supposed to go to the Game of Thrones exhibition, but the queue was longer than the wait for something. [00:00:21] I don't know what. [00:00:22] Anyway, so I thought we had statue of Alexander, but it was not. [00:00:30] It was in all actuality Apollon Greek god. [00:00:39] So we're having a look here at ancient physiques, comparing them to the modern ones. [00:00:45] So here we have Hercules doing battle with the Amazons and the Amazons obviously were female warriors, daughters of Ares. [00:01:09] And if you followed my Let's Plays, if you're a true friend, then you will have seen me getting beat up by Amazons as well, the riders of the steppes in all actuality. [00:01:21] So here we have greetings, Nettie-Pete. [00:01:26] Yo. [00:01:29] We have this guy, he isn't that shredded, but that's basically my level of fat percentage now as well. [00:01:34] Perhaps 15, 13, something like that. [00:01:37] You know, slightly ants, but not quite. [00:01:42] Go for it. [00:01:43] How's that? [00:01:46] Sick. [00:01:58] Admire how glorious this fair maiden is. [00:02:01] Would you marry her and treat her kindly? [00:02:03] Comment below. [00:02:07] I'm saving my facial hair now as well. [00:02:10] Don't know if you can see it, it's quite light. [00:02:13] Not quite a beard, but I'm getting there. === Rats, Cats, and Grain Protection (01:47) === [00:02:18] The Egyptian civilization got its strength from the very fertile Nile River. [00:02:26] The Nile River would flood every year, leaving the ground very, very fertile. [00:02:34] So they could build their civilization with, you know, not everyone working the land. [00:02:40] Not everyone was preoccupied with gathering food. [00:02:45] So they could have a class of priests, a pharaoh and an army. [00:02:51] Also, everyone wasn't preoccupied with gathering food because it was so fertile. [00:02:58] And if you're wondering why cats are so holy in Egyptian mythology, it is because when you have a lot of grain stores, rats are a large problem. [00:03:10] You know, you get rats and there are some glorious cats, as it were. [00:03:14] Then cats are really good to get rid of the vermin. [00:03:19] And also snakes are prevalent in Egyptian mythology just because they are the natural enemies of rats. [00:03:25] And rats destroy grains, so then you worship the animals that can take away the vermin and protect the grain. [00:03:33] So that is why cats have a prominent role in Egyptian mythology to keep the grain safe as it were. [00:03:45] And now we'll get a little glimpse of the very own true friend kitten of coddliness, courtesy of my main man Covobra. [00:03:54] XXO Boom Greetings little kitten. [00:04:03] You are so cute and cobbly.
