[00:00:31] Here I am with my with my guys, with my true friends outside of the gym of holy deeds doing some strongman lifts. [00:00:41] So this is the kind of warm-up as it were. [00:00:44] I only did like bodyweight squats to get the legs a bit warmer. [00:00:49] So you see the tire there is a bit slippery, so I had to work with that as well. [00:00:55] So it's not as heavy as I can go. [00:00:57] It's more like the grip that was the issue. [00:01:01] So I'm perhaps the Abelian bull should have this little tutorial. [00:01:06] But when you lift the tire, I'm pushing my shoulders into the tire. [00:01:11] So it's not a deadlift, it is more like you're pushing the weight forward instead of upwards. [00:01:17] So then I'm pushing everything forward and upward a bit. [00:01:21] So you have to have a good grip to get under the tire. [00:01:25] And like that is very important as well to get the grip good. [00:01:34] So if it's really slippery or you can't get a good grip, the weight will be very, very much harder. [00:01:41] So you see that I'm trying to fucking juicy. [00:01:44] And there we have a little child as well running around and admiring the strength athletes. [00:01:53] So yeah, I really love tire tire flipping. [00:01:55] It feels like primordial, glorious, testosteroneous testosterone, I mean. [00:02:02] Fucking really wonderful exercise and works the whole body. [00:02:05] So if you're talking about like the word functional strength is so tainted by beta crossfitters and stuff like that but you utilize your whole body to just try to push a weight up. [00:02:19] So I'm trying to get my knee under there as soon as possible. [00:02:22] So you see that I'm resting it on my knee and then I can start pushing with my upper body. [00:02:26] So it's really a full body movement with like a deadlift squat and a push press kind of thing. [00:02:35] So you have to utilize your whole body and then a good momentum as well. [00:02:38] So it's a bit of bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic lifting all in one. [00:02:44] So I'm pushing it up, getting my knee under there and then continuing to push with the rest of the body. [00:02:53] And there's the glorious Avellian bull showing he obviously is one of the strongest guys in Sweden, especially in certain strongman endeavors. [00:03:09] So you see there is trying to get the knee up faster. [00:03:14] Pushing the weight forward to get up. [00:03:19] Foi millin gains. [00:03:24] And then you can see the the tire is dripping wet because I'm so sexy as it were. [00:03:31] Don't look that sexy in my in my coddly clothes though but but it's all good. [00:03:36] I have my belt of wisdom there as well. [00:03:39] So yeah I will try to train a bit more strongman because I it's really fucking fun. [00:03:46] I suggest you try it out. [00:03:48] If you have a cool like strongman gym uh in your vicinity, try it out. [00:03:53] My core strength is not decent enough for strongman, I'd say, but I utilize my belt of strength. [00:04:16] So yeah, we're having a bit of a Strongman day here, but it will not be like more than once a week, maybe even once every two weeks, depending on where I'm at. [00:04:27] I have to be in this vicinity to train there, obviously. [00:04:32] And then I have to not get to not have a takeaway performance from my deadlifting because I want to reach 216 deadlift as soon as possible. [00:04:45] See how that goes. [00:04:46] I'm working on my technique like crazy there as well. [00:04:50] And there also is farmers walk. [00:04:54] You don't look that glorious when you do it. [00:04:56] You see, I'm stumbling there like a pale orc, but it's very good for the grip strength and then getting momentum in the legs. [00:05:05] But mainly for me, it's getting the balance and the grip. [00:05:10] So strongman, have a good grip will be very beneficial. [00:05:20] The white hand of Saruman.
