My New Diet Aired: 2015-02-15 Duration: 05:36 === A Bit Cleaner Diet (05:16) === [00:00:10] Greetings Juvens Welcome back to Gaines Fucking Kitchen Today as promised, I've promised this for about three weeks now, I will talk a bit about my new diet as it were. [00:00:22] And when I say I have a new diet, I only minorly tweak it to suit my goals for the moment. [00:00:29] So basically the heyday of the bulk is over. [00:00:34] May it rest in peace. [00:00:36] It was a good bulk. [00:00:37] Added a good bit of size. [00:00:40] No, not a good bit, but a good bit of strength and some size. [00:00:44] So we wanna see when I'm lean and mean again how well the bulk was. [00:00:49] Either way, it's February right now. [00:00:52] It's not long until spring, so I'm trying to lean out just a bit. [00:00:56] I'm not cutting per se, because I usually don't cut, I recomp, and what I mean by recomp is that I still try to progress in the lifts and at the same time lose body fat. [00:01:07] And keep in mind, I'm not a bodybuilder per se, so I don't need to be that lean. [00:01:12] I just have to, you know, have abs. [00:01:13] So perhaps 9% body fat, something like that. [00:01:17] So, either fucking way, I have cut down on the carbs a bit up the fat. [00:01:23] So here is what I'm gonna show you today. [00:01:26] Some ecological eggs. [00:01:29] Obviously, always go for the ecological option. [00:01:32] This is I've eaten so many eggs in my days, like this has been a main staple in my diet since I lifted my first weight, basically. [00:01:42] So a big shout out to all the hens who are making eggs. [00:01:46] And by ecological, make sure the hens are treated respectfully. [00:01:50] If you don't like to treat animals respectfully, you can't be a true son of Skyrim. [00:01:54] glory to macedon we also have some and keep in mind since i'm not bulking this is a stage in my you know diet yearly diet cycle as it were where I'm just looking to get saturated but not eat too much carbs and traditional unhealthy foods. [00:02:17] Like I'm still a proponent of if it fits your macros. [00:02:20] If I feel that I want, you know, some jell ignite, I will eat some jellignite, but it's not something I do every day. [00:02:26] Now I'm trying more to get in fruits and vegetables and stuff like that. [00:02:30] We have some kalapenu to push in some fucking flavor in this mix. [00:02:35] Also, we've got some bacon and then you see the Swedish flag right there. [00:02:40] You don't want to buy meat from any other nation than Sweden. [00:02:43] Obviously if you're looking at this from America, I mean this is an international channel. [00:02:48] So wherever you are. [00:02:49] But if you have the choice, I'd gladly pay extra to get to be sure that the animals have been treated nicely. [00:02:57] And then people say like, oh, what's the point? [00:02:59] They're gonna die either way. [00:03:00] Well, so are humans. [00:03:01] So that logic doesn't really apply. [00:03:04] For me, I'm a great friend of the animals. [00:03:06] And then I don't just mean dogs and cats. [00:03:08] Like, they're cool and cuddly. [00:03:09] But I think there is a value, and this is a Nordic tradition, to like care for the fucking animals. [00:03:16] There's nothing wrong with that. [00:03:18] Keep in mind, only beta leftists do not care about anything. [00:03:22] We have some sort of salad. [00:03:27] They were actually out of spinach in the shutba when I went there last last night. [00:03:32] So usually I will go with spinach, but all kinds of salads, you just need to fill up to push some micronutrients in there. [00:03:39] You don't want to be deficient in micronutrients. [00:03:42] And that's also one of the things that can bother me with if it fits your macros. [00:03:46] But you stare at themselves blind on just the macros. [00:03:51] I've talked about this in the past. [00:03:52] Look at my juiciness though. [00:03:55] That's glorious. [00:03:56] Lastly, we have an onion. [00:03:58] Look how juicy that onion is. [00:04:01] Highly sickening. [00:04:02] So I'm gonna fry this together. [00:04:04] And usually I start with the bacon. [00:04:06] All right, [00:04:42] Drew Vins. [00:05:03] I really don't like the term clean because that's so broish, but you know, you all know what I mean, like more veggies, more protein, more stuff like that.
