=== Shipping Stocks and Dollar Value (15:32) ===

[00:03:30]  Now that we've gotten all that out of the way, has anybody seen the markets, huh?
[00:03:36]  I mean, I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so, all right?
[00:03:42]  Now, let me explain why yours truly didn't recommend any stocks this morning.
[00:03:48]  Because as I've alluded to throughout the days in covering this particular market in the past couple of weeks, I have seen tremendously low volume.
[00:03:57]  low volume in the premarket.
[00:03:59]  So any stocks that you see bump up in high percentage in the positive in the premarket is all fueled on low volume, pump and dump like activity.
[00:04:10]  And as I've alluded to when we hit Dow Jones 20,000, that was purely a pump and dump, a collusion of all the fund managers, folks, all of them, a hedge fund, mutual fund, retirement fund, I mean, you name it.
[00:04:28]  They're all colluding, and it's very easy to do this.
[00:04:31]  I mean, all they have to do is spread out their accounts and buy blocks in each of these accounts, 10,000, 20,000 blocks of shares, and run up stocks in the Dow Jones Industrials just enough so that it can be reflected in the index.
[00:04:50]  And that's why we saw Dow Jones 20,000 on low volume.
[00:04:54]  When you have low volume, folks, which means that there's not that many buyers in the market, you can manipulate this market if you have a good enough team, especially if you're on Wall Street and have billions of other people's dollars in retirement funds and so on and so forth.
[00:05:14]  Now, with that being said, what was the tipping point in the market today?
[00:05:19]  Well, Donald Trump, baby.
[00:05:23]  That's my president right there, baby.
[00:05:26]  Let me tell you what the Trump administration is doing.
[00:05:29]  Now, this is a very, very economic, capitalistic idea here.
[00:05:35]  I mean, only people that are aware of finance and understand the fundamentals of capitalism could foresee what Trump's administration is doing.
[00:05:47]  Now, as I've stated, folks, the value of the dollar has gone up dramatically.
[00:05:54]  And the reason is, is because you've got a lot of foreign investors in the international community wanting to cash out in U.S. currency.
[00:06:03]  And because of that, there's a lot of people that are seeking U.S. currency to be paid off in.
[00:06:09]  As a result, there's less of that U.S. currency circulating in the currency markets.
[00:06:15]  Hence, the value of the dollar goes up by default.
[00:06:19]  Now, with that being said, a couple of weeks back, we heard President Trump allude to the fact that the dollar is a little bit too overvalued, a little bit too expensive.
[00:06:30]  And on those particular comments, the dollar receded in value.
[00:06:35]  So unfortunately, that was short-lived, and we saw a rise back in the dollar because everybody knows we got a lot of uncertainty in all these international markets out here.
[00:06:48]  And as a result, we had the Trump administration earlier today, or I believe it was yesterday afternoon, I forgot when the comment was made, but it was made that the Euro, and this is somebody from the Trump administration alluding to the fact that the Euro is an undervalued currency at this point in time.
[00:07:10]  Now, this is why the Trump administration did this, first and foremost.
[00:07:14]  They did this to devalue the dollar on purpose to cut off the Federal Reserve at the past, all right?
[00:07:21]  Because I know that this administration understands that the Federal Reserve is going to try many tricks to try to manipulate the economy to make it look like it's not necessarily making America great again material, just to put it lightly.
[00:07:39]  So the Trump administration understands very clearly that the Federal Reserve is not going to be a friend of the Trump administration.
[00:07:48]  And the reason that I say this is because of the planned interest rates.
[00:07:53]  There's a plan to be four interest rate hikes this year.
[00:07:57]  And that is just going to add more value to the dollar, folks.
[00:08:03]  And you see, the value at the dollar can be so high that it could basically make dollars scarce as it pertains to dollars being circulated in the community of business.
[00:08:16]  Because why would anybody want to let go of their dollars if the value of the dollar is going to continue going upward?
[00:08:24]  And that's just not on overspeculation.
[00:08:27]  That's also on the fact that you have dollars that are going to be called back in the Federal Reserve interest rate hikes.
[00:08:38]  So we're anticipating Federal Reserve interest rate hikes that are going to potentially increase value in the American dollar on top of the overspeculation that we're currently seeing now.
[00:08:50]  So with that being said, you have the Trump administration basically kind of alluding to the fact that the Euro is a little undervalued, which basically sent investors into a tailspin.
[00:09:02]  You saw people exchanging their currencies from U.S. to Euro.
[00:09:06]  The Euro literally took off today.
[00:09:08]  If you were holding Euros today, you actually made money.
[00:09:13]  And unfortunately, the Euro is taking it on the teeth, and a lot of that has to do with the European Union's method of actually dealing with economies, stimuluses, the European Central Bank.
[00:09:26]  There's a whole bunch of factors why the Euro is kind of taking it on the teeth, and rightfully so.
[00:09:32]  But the reason the Trump administration did this was because if you decrease, or excuse me, if you allude to the fact that the Euro is undervalued, they decreased the value of the dollar, anticipating a Federal Reserve interest rate hike, which could potentially put even more value on the dollar.
[00:09:53]  So what the Trump administration is doing is potentially offsetting any value increase in the dollar that could be incurred due to a Federal Reserve interest rate hike.
[00:10:05]  Now, why would he do this?
[00:10:07]  Because I alluded to this before.
[00:10:09]  You don't want people holding on to cash right now if they anticipate that it's going to increase in value dramatically.
[00:10:17]  So what we want, and what the Trump administration wants, it wants a circulation of this currency all across the country.
[00:10:24]  And the only way to do that is to kind of regulate by de facto and unfortunately by the power of the voice of the president and his administration and a variety of other different actions, regulate that overspeculation and that increase in value in the dollar.
[00:10:42]  Now, I hope that you understood all this.
[00:10:45]  I know that this is a very confusing situation as it pertains to all this rhetoric that I'm spitting at you.
[00:10:52]  But folks, this is capitalism.
[00:10:54]  This is business.
[00:10:56]  And as I stated, the Trump administration is the manifestation of the capitalist revolution taking control of state power.
[00:11:05]  And I said right when this man took office that what was he going to do?
[00:11:09]  He was going to write executive order after executive order after executive order to make sure that he fulfills the promises that he said in his campaign speeches all across this country as he was running for president.
[00:11:22]  This man is not going to be your average Washington, D.C. bureaucratic globalist sellout.
[00:11:28]  This man is going to mean what he says, says what he means, because that's what capitalists do.
[00:11:36]  So with that being said, the reaction of the Trump administration kind of alluding to the fact that the European, or excuse me, the Euro is undervalued, it spiked the Euro value dramatically today and decreased the value of the U.S. dollar.
[00:11:54]  Now, because we saw a decreased value in the U.S. dollar, we should, which we did see, a decrease in the equities market, and we should see an increase in the commodities market.
[00:12:07]  So we shall see if that is reflected here as we run down the damn stocks and the markets today.
[00:12:15]  Let's go ahead and get right to it.
[00:12:16]  Now, once again, I did not, I repeat, I did not want to suggest a stock to watch today.
[00:12:24]  It was not a very conducive environment to pattern or day trade.
[00:12:29]  It was so unpredictable today that you could be literally holding something and literally anticipating one of those waves.
[00:12:38]  And because of uncertainty, because, and believe it or not, folks, I mean, the market took a dip when Trump said that he was going to do something about drug prices.
[00:12:49]  I mean, you could take a look at that chart right there on the intraday on whether it's the Dow, S ⁇ P, or NASDAQ.
[00:12:56]  I mean, it just took a header.
[00:12:58]  It took a dive, for Christ's sake.
[00:13:00]  And you don't want to be holding the bag in a pattern trade when something like that happens because you're going to be losing money.
[00:13:08]  And let me tell you, it wasn't very good for pattern traders.
[00:13:13]  Now, I had some people ask me that, what about this symbol DRYS?
[00:13:20]  How come you're not suggesting that, Ghost?
[00:13:23]  It's up in the pre-market.
[00:13:25]  There's a, was it, 1.9 million shares that had been traded in the pre-market, up 40-something percent.
[00:13:31]  Why aren't you suggesting that stock?
[00:13:34]  Well, first and foremost, folks, for you investors that have been around, especially here post-the election, this was right after the election in November or sometime, there was a huge pump and dump, a run on cargo stocks, shipping stocks.
[00:13:52]  And that's exactly what symbol DRYS is.
[00:13:58]  Now, if you take a look at the chart for six months, you can see that run that happened.
[00:14:04]  And it wasn't just this stock.
[00:14:05]  I mean, pretty much you could just, during the time after the election, for whatever reason, you had this ridiculous run on the shipping stocks.
[00:14:14]  Now, the reason I did not suggest anyone get into this particular shipping boom, and it was very short-lived.
[00:14:23]  I mean, it only lasted for like about a week.
[00:14:26]  And then everybody realized, wait a minute, what are we doing?
[00:14:29]  And they started selling off.
[00:14:32]  Now, the reason I didn't suggest any stocks during that boom, because there's a lot of people that listen to this broadcast that don't really understand the markets, they're kind of starting to gather a lot of the analysis that I give out on this broadcast in the first hour, but it's a lot to take in.
[00:14:48]  Believe me, you have to be around this market a long time like I have to understand it.
[00:14:53]  So with that being said, let's just say for the sake of argument, I did suggest a couple of those shipping stocks during that boom.
[00:15:02]  A lot of the investors that are out here that really don't understand the market would have gotten on that stock.
[00:15:09]  And at the time when these stocks were going up 200, 500, 1,000% within a couple of days, it would have left a misguided representation on the beginning investor into believing that these types of ridiculous increases are common in the market and that they're going to just continuously perpetuate on a sustainable basis, which that is not the case.
[00:15:37]  And that's what people need to understand.
[00:15:38]  The market is fickle.
[00:15:40]  I mean, it's based upon supply and demand.
[00:15:43]  And when you've got everybody running towards a certain sector, you've got everybody running towards a certain stock, it's going to raise up, man.
[00:15:50]  It's going to rise.
[00:15:52]  All right?
[00:15:53]  It's going to rise.
[00:15:54]  And that's exactly what we've been seeing in a lot of different stocks and a lot of different sectors.
[00:15:58]  So that's why I caution people about, you know, running with some of these I like to call pump and dumps because what the hell was that?
[00:16:08]  I mean, you know, take a look at the chart on any of these shipping stocks.
[00:16:12]  Take a look back around November.
[00:16:14]  I mean, they just shot up dramatically and they crashed hard.
[00:16:17]  And just taking a look at any one of those shipping stocks.
[00:16:21]  And take a look around November and you see this humongous increase in wave and then a dramatic fall.
[00:16:27]  That's exactly what's going to happen to the Dow Jones Industrial SP and the NASDAQ.
[00:16:34]  It's exactly what's going to happen.

[00:17:08]  So I caution anybody entering into this market, be careful because there is a major contraction coming.
[00:17:15]  Now, this is January 31st.
[00:17:19]  And now that we're starting to see gradual decreases in these markets, folks, it's looking eerily similar, eerily similar to the crash of 2009.
[00:17:30]  Now, we saw the bulk of the crash, at least the beginning point, where we saw consistent 300, 400, 500-point dips on a consistent basis in the month of February in 2009.
[00:17:45]  Now, prior to that, I've found an interesting pattern here.
[00:17:50]  Now, if we go take a look back to 1987, 1987 was the last stock market crash of the 80s, and then the 90s came in, and there was some turbulence in the beginning of George H.W. Bush's tenure and also into the tenure of Bill Clinton.
[00:18:10]  But for the most part, the crash of 87 was a major contraction that no one who was in the stock market at that particular time will ever forget.
[00:18:21]  We didn't see another major contraction to that capacity until 1999.
[00:18:27]  And that was the dot-com boom.
[00:18:30]  That was a dramatic correction that literally slapped everybody in the face.
[00:18:36]  And I mean, I was actually a little bit smart.
[00:18:39]  I kind of anticipated that, you know, what goes up must come down.
[00:18:44]  I mean, I've learned that being around the market long enough.
[00:18:48]  But 1999 was a major dramatic contraction.
[00:18:52]  And it's reflected if you take a look at the charts going way back then.
[00:18:58]  Now, everything kind of, you know, settled down and it came back.

[00:19:02]  And then the next crash was in 2009, which was February.
[00:19:09]  I remember it like it was yesterday, folks.
[00:19:12]  I mean, it was like night and day.
[00:19:14]  Before you knew it, one minute, everybody's working, everybody's having a good life.
[00:19:20]  Literally the next month, the February, March, I mean, everybody was living in hell.
[00:19:25]  I mean, people were losing their houses, their jobs.
[00:19:29]  They were losing their freaking cars.
[00:19:31]  I mean, there were credit freezes, for Christ's sake.
[00:19:34]  Credit card companies were recalling debts.
[00:19:37]  Some banks were recalling notes.
[00:19:40]  I mean, it was ridiculous.
[00:19:43]  But I remember.
[00:19:47]  I do remember.
[00:19:51]  I do remember it vividly, folks.
[00:19:54]  And guess what?
[00:19:56]  We're, in my opinion, are about to have a crash in 2017.
[00:20:02]  So we take a look at those patterns.
[00:20:04]  1987, 1999, 2009, 2017.
[00:20:12]  Just a little bit of a factor there, a little bit of a pattern that I see that basically says that we're going to have a crash and a contraction this year.
[00:20:23]  I don't know how many more signs you need for you folks that are still buying into this pump and up market.
[00:20:29]  I don't know how many more signs you need to realize that this market is ridiculous.
[00:20:35]  And cash is going to be king here for the next two or three quarters.
[00:20:39]  So if you're sitting on cash, when the contraction happens, you go right in.
[00:20:44]  I'm not even joking around.
[00:20:45]  You go right in there.
[00:20:49]  And obviously, as somebody alluded to on Twitter, when it crashes, obviously they're going to blame it on Trump.
[00:20:56]  And the thing that's going to offset the crash of the stock market is Trump's attempt and valued one at that to bring in a decent labor market, which has been beyond anemic for such a long time.
[00:21:12]  I mean, he is going to offset losses that could potentially be in the stock market here with employment, with actual paying jobs, with actual good, high-paying jobs.
[00:21:27]  Anyway, folks, let me go ahead and get to the stock market here because it was down today, to say the least.
[00:21:33]  All right.
[00:21:34]  It was down today, to say the least.
[00:21:37]  Now, let's go ahead and go to it, shall we?
[00:21:39]  Now, the funny thing about it is, as we started headed down towards the end of the day, we start seeing these increases towards the end of the day, which is uncanny and unusual, to be honest with you.
[00:21:53]  I typically, in traditional markets that aren't under such uncertainty and under, you know, such constraints of lack of volume and, you know, unpredictable earnings and that sort of thing, traditionally, I usually see a downslide at the end of the day in full markets and when it's full employment, good economy, that sort of thing.
[00:22:19]  I find it really, really odd that if you take a look at the intraday charts on some of these, or all the indexes in America, they tend to go upwards on the last hour of trading, which I don't know what the hell that's about because, like I have said, folks, someone or a collusion of individuals are continuously trying to prop this damn market up.
[00:22:45]  And you could see it reflected today as the market started going down and then going back up again, down and going back up again.
[00:22:53]  I mean, it's a completely manipulated market, in my opinion.
[00:22:58]  I mean, there is a collusion going on right before our eyes to continue to have this market propped up.
[00:23:05]  And every time it wants to recede, every time people are selling off, you've got people running up certain stocks so that it can create the illusion that the damn whole index is going up on its own.
[00:23:22]  So anyway, with that being said, let's just go ahead and get to the market right now.
[00:23:26]  It's a very weird day in the market.
[00:23:29]  It's not day tradable.
[00:23:31]  I'll tell you that right now.
[00:23:32]  As a matter of fact, while I was sitting and took the day off as it pertains to day or pattern trading, I actually made money just sitting at home watching gold and silver.
[00:23:42]  And we'll talk about that in a minute.
[00:23:44]  Now, let's get to the Dow Jones Industrial here.
[00:23:47]  Dow Jones Industrial is down 107.04 points, a percentage decrease of 0.54%, closing out the Dow Jones Industrial at 19,864.09 points for the Dow Jones Industrial.
[00:24:06]  Now, it's a long, you know, it's not, weren't we at just 20,100?
[00:24:13]  All right.
[00:24:16]  I mean, isn't it supposed to be 20,100 going on here?
[00:24:23]  Anyway, let's continue going here, folks.
[00:24:26]  We've got the S ⁇ P 500 down.
[00:24:28]  And look, look at the S ⁇ P 500's intraday chart.
[00:24:32]  I mean, give me a break, man.
[00:24:34]  I mean, look at that freaking all of a sudden miraculous buys at the end of the day.
[00:24:39]  What a prop-up of these markets, man.
[00:24:42]  What a prop-up.
[00:24:45]  Give me a break.
[00:24:47]  I mean, can it get any more obvious that this is a goddamn pumping dump?
[00:24:51]  God damn it.
[00:24:53]  It's a trap.
[00:24:57]  Take a look at the intraday charts of the S ⁇ P and the NASDAQ, and that'll show you what doesn't even make any sense.
[00:25:04]  Anyway, S ⁇ P 500, folks, is down 2.03 points decrease on the day, a percentage decrease of 0.09%, closing out the S ⁇ P at 2,278.87 points for the S ⁇ P 500.
[00:25:24]  Let's continue going here.
[00:25:25]  We got the NASDAQ.
[00:25:27]  The NASDAQ, I mean, Jesus Christ.
[00:25:30]  Take a look at the intraday chart on the NASDAQ, please.
[00:25:34]  Take a look at that.
[00:25:36]  It doesn't make sense.
[00:25:39]  I mean, they are propping up this goddamn market to goof people into it.
[00:25:44]  And I'm telling you, there's going to be a lot of people holding the bag.
[00:25:47]  And when we start seeing this major contraction, because, folks, I personally believe that the book value of the Dow is somewhere in the range of $10,000 to $13,000.
[00:25:57]  I mean, the actual book value.
[00:26:00]  And if it ever retracts to that point, I think that people are going to get so scared.
[00:26:04]  You're going to see everybody jump ship.
[00:26:06]  And we're going to see, like we just saw in 2009, all right, 2009, when we saw the Dow Jones Industrial go down to 8,000 points for Christ's sake.
[00:26:20]  But when you see it go that down, I mean, what are you doing?
[00:26:23]  Go in, baby.
[00:26:24]  Start buying.
[00:26:25]  Start buying and holding.
[00:26:28]  I mean, that's where you make your long-term investments.
[00:26:30]  That's where you make your wealth.
[00:26:32]  And that's what I'm waiting for.
[00:26:34]  You see, I mean, I'm not rooting for a crash.
[00:26:37]  I'm ready for a crash.
[00:26:39]  And that's all there is to it.
[00:26:40]  Anyway, the NASDAQ, take a look at that intraday chart.
[00:26:43]  Doesn't even make any sense.
[00:26:45]  It was dramatically down, folks, today.
[00:26:47]  It was down a percent and a half at one point.
[00:26:52]  And now all of a sudden, miraculously, the NASDAQ is up a 0.07 point today.
[00:26:59]  I mean, you've got to be kidding me, man.
[00:27:02]  I mean, who else in the investment community can't read this unless they're participating in the collusion themselves?
[00:27:10]  I'm just saying.
[00:27:13]  I'm just saying.
[00:27:14]  And listen, I'm trying to tell people out here.
[00:27:16]  I'm trying to tell people what's about to happen.
[00:27:19]  That's why I continue to do this broadcast.
[00:27:22]  Because I'm trying to let people know, look, there's going to be a crash.
[00:27:26]  You've got to wait.
[00:27:26]  You've got to be patient.
[00:27:27]  These patterns look eerily similar to 2009.
[00:27:31]  I mean, you've got a lot of things in play at this point that's going to basically force a contraction.
[00:27:37]  So let's just wait.
[00:27:39]  And like I said, I'm not rooting for one, but I'm ready for one.
[00:27:42]  And when it happens, I'm going in and I'm generating wealth, baby.
[00:27:46]  That's what I'm doing.
[00:27:49]  And let me tell you, that's what Warren Buffett does, man.
[00:27:52]  That's what made him, you know, one of the second or third richest man in the world.
[00:27:57]  I mean, that's all he does is he goes in when everybody leaves the market.
[00:28:01]  That's been his whole MO as it pertains to an investor.
[00:28:07]  Anyway, folks, let's go ahead and get to commodities here.
[00:28:11]  Weird day in energy.
[00:28:13]  We saw energy take off today.
[00:28:15]  I saw oil high as what, 1.10, 1.20, depending on WTI or Brent crude.
[00:28:23]  I mean, that made no sense considering that we're still hearing reports that OPEC is not necessarily obliged to the damn OPEC cut.
[00:28:34]  I mean, even Saudi Arabia has been caught overproducing, and it just shows signs of desperation.
[00:28:40]  And I'm not really too sure if this oil price is going to get too much higher.
[00:28:45]  I'm not really too sure.
[00:28:47]  I mean, we shall wait and see what happens as it pertains to this oil market.
[00:28:52]  But I am definitely bearish on this.
[00:28:54]  I'm not touching this with a 10-foot pole, even if it looks like it potentially could go up.
[00:28:59]  I mean, we're finding all kinds of oil deposits in America here.
[00:29:04]  Like I said, we found one in Texas, found one in Alaska.
