The Tucker Carlson Show - Exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger: Possessed Politicians, Occult Activity, and Speaking to Satan Himself Aired: 2026-04-03 Duration: 01:49:02 === Supernatural Beings and Fixed Will (11:36) === [00:00:04] Father, thank you so much for doing this. [00:00:07] Thank you for having me. [00:00:08] As a Protestant who grew up in Georgetown, in part where The Exorcist was filmed, I've been trained from birth to think of exorcism as something kooky that the Latin church does for weird cultic reasons, not at all mainstream Christianity. [00:00:20] And then you go and read the New Testament. [00:00:22] That's right. [00:00:23] And you realize that the first miracle that Jesus performs in the Gospel of Mark is casting out demons. [00:00:30] And then he repeats that continuously and commissions the apostles to do the same. [00:00:34] Casting out demons is not just this random thing. [00:00:38] It is central to the Gospels. [00:00:40] That's right. [00:00:41] 23% of the Gospels are actually about Christ dealing with demons. [00:00:45] So, and this is why when people, you know, Christians. [00:00:48] That's just unbelievable. [00:00:49] How did I not know that? [00:00:50] Yeah, well, and a lot of the Christians will just say, well, you know, I believe in God, but I don't necessarily believe in the devil. [00:00:55] And they're like, well, do you believe in Scripture? [00:00:57] Well, yeah, well, then how can you not believe that this is one of the primary missions of Christ to save us from them ultimately? [00:01:04] Well, when he sends the disciples, I mean, of course, this is your life. [00:01:07] This is all so new to me, I'm just shocked by it. [00:01:09] When he sends them out, it's like, preach the good news and cast out demons. [00:01:12] Yes, that's right. [00:01:13] That's the mission. [00:01:14] That's right. [00:01:15] So, I just before we get into what you've spent the last decades doing, casting out demons, how is it that the modern church, at least in the United States, at least the Protestant churches in the United States, have so de emphasized this to the point where it's disappeared? [00:01:33] I think there's a historical reason behind that. [00:01:35] So, if you and it's not just here like in the United States, it's actually in the West in general. [00:01:41] Christian West specifically. [00:01:42] And basically, it had to do with the advent of psychology. [00:01:45] So, when psychology came on board, it became in vogue, especially in the 50s and in the 60s, to just think that all these people's problems were just purely psychological. [00:01:57] I mean, there are psychological issues that very much look like that. [00:02:01] But the fact is that so they just started chalking it up. [00:02:04] And that's one of the reasons why in the United States, before the 1960s, the number of dioceses, that is the Catholic diocese that had an exorcist, was Fairly high. [00:02:14] Every major diocese would have one. [00:02:17] But then it started to decline precisely based upon that thinking. [00:02:21] But then over the course of time, they began to realize well, look, there are certain things we're seeing that are not psychological, and so they can't be explained in that way. [00:02:27] And people needed the help. [00:02:28] And so now the bishops are coming a little bit more up to speed in that regard. [00:02:33] Well, yeah, after 100 years of Freud, we still can't identify what schizophrenia is. [00:02:38] It does make you realize at the very least, there are things we don't understand that could very well be supernatural. [00:02:46] So that does make you wonder about the origins of psychology, though. [00:02:50] I mean, if the net effect was to eliminate people's belief in something real, which is demonic possession, then. [00:02:57] Yeah. [00:02:58] Well, I think that was only one aspect of it. [00:03:00] I think that the real goal of a lot of the psychologists, which is in the literature, is that many of them are atheists. [00:03:06] They just didn't believe in God. [00:03:08] And so they wanted to eliminate any concept of anything supernatural or what we call praetor naturals, which is the demons are praetor natural. [00:03:14] They're not supernatural. [00:03:15] God is the one that's supernatural. [00:03:17] We tend to talk that way, although sometimes people will just say supernatural, thinking about demons in that way too. [00:03:22] Can you, for the ignorant like me, explain the difference between preternatural and supernatural? [00:03:26] So supernatural is those things which are above anything that is created, and that pertains to God. [00:03:32] Whereas praetor natural comes from the Latin word praetor in natura, which means aside from nature. [00:03:37] So that would be things that are above what we experience as human beings in this world, but it's not supernatural because it's not God. [00:03:45] It's kind of in that in between state, which is what the demons are. [00:03:48] But they're still considered natural in the sense of They have a specific nature that God created them with. [00:03:54] They're created beings, and that they actually have a natural law. [00:03:58] They're structured to think in certain patterns in certain ways. [00:04:01] So it's kind of a middle tier, but it's preternatural. [00:04:05] Supernatural would be something like being able to suspend the laws of nature. [00:04:09] So demons can't cause miracles, for example, but they can cause things that to us as human beings are outside our normal experience. [00:04:16] And so it looks miraculous, but it's actually not. [00:04:18] It's something that they can do on earth. [00:04:20] So I guess the good news about that distinction is they're not all powerful. [00:04:23] No, they are not. [00:04:25] In fact, demons are one of the most regulated things in the universe, really. [00:04:31] And they're regulated by three things. [00:04:33] One, as I mentioned, their natural law, their nature, they're structured a specific way. [00:04:37] The second thing is once the demons made their choice, their will became fixed in a specific way. [00:04:44] This is one of the reasons why when you deal with them as an exorcist, they almost seem obsessive compulsive. [00:04:48] Even when it goes bad for them, they'll still tend towards that thing which they chose, the sin that they committed. [00:04:57] Their tendency is towards that, so they're fixed by that. [00:05:00] But the main thing is, if you remember in the Gospels, Christ says to the apostles before he sends, he said, All power was given to me in heaven and earth. [00:05:08] All power. [00:05:09] That means the demons even know that they can't do anything without Christ's permission. [00:05:15] So, in the spiritual warfare landscape, we know, and this is as an exorcist, it actually brings me a lot of confidence because I don't have to worry about if it turns into the type of thing where I get shellacked a little bit during a session or whatever the case is. [00:05:28] That I know Christ is still controlling and metering how much and what he can and cannot do. [00:05:33] And we know this too because if you remember, you made the mention of it before when they asked, you know, the demons actually approached Christ to ask to go into the pigs. [00:05:42] I was just thinking that exact on the other side of the lake. [00:05:44] Yeah. [00:05:44] So they can't even enter into the pigs without his permission. [00:05:48] And so nothing they do can occur without their permission. [00:05:51] And so Christ has complete control over the spiritual landscape, the spiritual battle. [00:05:57] He has complete control over it. [00:05:59] And so they know what they can and cannot do. [00:06:01] The first time that actually really occurred to me. [00:06:04] Was I had this one case where this demon because when they take possession, unless it's a perfect possession, but if it's a partial possession, they take possession of a part of the body and from there they can affect the rest of the person. [00:06:15] And so the demon was possessing this woman's lower back. [00:06:18] And I asked, I commanded him to tell me, why are you possessing that part? [00:06:21] He says, I don't know. [00:06:22] I commanded him, Why not? [00:06:24] What do you mean you don't know? [00:06:25] And he said, When I entered, Christ restricted me to this part of the body. [00:06:28] And that's when it made me realize he has control over everything when they can manifest, how long they can manifest, the kind of manifestation they can actually do, how they can attack the person that's possessed, how they can attack us, even in our ordinary temptations and things like that, and in other ways. [00:06:44] He regulates all of it ultimately. [00:06:47] And then you begin to realize, too, over the course of time, it's ultimately for our spiritual benefit. [00:06:54] The experience is for our spiritual benefit. [00:06:57] Yes. [00:06:59] I believe that. [00:07:01] Okay. [00:07:02] So, what are, if you don't mind, we can just start at the beginning, big picture. [00:07:06] What are demons? [00:07:08] So, actually, according to Pseudo Dionysius and then also Thomas Aquinas, and then pretty much the whole theological tradition from that time, from Dionysius on, basically held that. [00:07:24] In the very beginning, when God created, what he did is he created the entire hierarchy of angels instantaneously all at once. [00:07:33] And these angels were created, all the angels were created. [00:07:37] Thomas Aquinas talks about what they call the three instances of the angels. [00:07:42] So when they were first created, how they understand things is the opposite of ours. [00:07:48] So when we want to know something, we'll actually study a number of different individual things that are like that so we can get a general sense, and then from that we'll abstract a kind of a conceptual understanding of. [00:07:57] What these things actually are, what their nature actually is. [00:08:01] But that's because we use our senses to come to know things, right? [00:08:04] And this is why, even as human beings, we know that if someone is in contact with their senses, we know there's something wrong with them, right? [00:08:10] Whereas the angels and also the demons are the exact opposite. [00:08:14] All their knowledge was infused. [00:08:16] So they know exactly what the essence and nature of every created thing that exists. [00:08:23] And this is actually a diagnostic that you can use in session because we get people that try and fake, you know, fake that they're possessed, and, you know, there's a variety of reasons why they do that. [00:08:33] So, we will one of the things is if you ask them a technical, theological, or philosophical question, if it's a human being, you can see they have to think about it and then they'll kind of reason their way through it. [00:08:43] That's not how demons work. [00:08:44] They'll immediately give you the answer, just immediate. [00:08:47] They'll just say, it's X. Because they don't have to think, because for them, all their knowledge is infused, both the concepts, but then as things occur. [00:08:56] Have you ever seen demons answer esoteric questions? [00:08:59] Yes. Yeah. [00:09:01] I've actually there's been cases. [00:09:03] I had a case. [00:09:05] It's one that I'm actually working on right now. [00:09:07] Where the demons in this particular case have made theological distinctions that there's no way this person could have ever known those distinctions. [00:09:20] Let me give you an example. [00:09:23] He made the distinction between consummatum est and finitum est, which is a Latin phrase. [00:09:27] Consummatum est is that the sacrifice is complete. [00:09:32] In relationship to the sacrifice of Christ, he says consummatum est and then he gives up his spirit, right? [00:09:38] So it's completed. [00:09:39] He's finally completed everything that was necessary. [00:09:41] in order for our full redemption and our full healing and all of that. [00:09:45] But it's not finished yet. [00:09:47] The finishing occurs once he's buried. [00:09:49] So they have to take him down, Our Lady embraces him, and then they put him in the tomb, right? [00:09:53] So he made that distinction. [00:09:55] And I'm going to like, this is one of those indicators that you're not going to see those kinds of distinctions being made by a human being who has never studied theology in any sense. [00:10:03] And this is not a person who has? [00:10:05] No, nothing. [00:10:06] I mean, she finished high school, and that's about it. [00:10:10] Seriously? [00:10:10] Yeah, yeah. [00:10:11] And so, and there's other times when they've made distinctions that are just like, in fact, one time, In the Catholic tradition, we actually believe Our Lady was assumed into heaven because she was so pure and so perfect and sinless that God assumed her body into heaven. [00:10:26] And so it was a feast of that day, and I was doing a series of exorcisms, and I asked the demon, I said, or I commanded him to tell me. [00:10:35] I mentioned the fact that this was her moment of greatest glory, and he just looks at me flatly, which demons lie all the time, but you know they're telling the truth. [00:10:44] There's ways we can ferret that out, too. [00:10:46] But they'll just give you a pan, they'll pan you and just say, no, that's not how that works. [00:10:53] I said, what was it then? [00:10:54] He said, it was her moment of greatest triumph. [00:10:57] She had gone through life without committing sin and now she's entering into heaven triumphant. [00:11:02] I said, was it crowning of heaven, queen of heaven and earth? [00:11:05] Because we believe that as Catholics. [00:11:06] He said, no, that was her moment of greatest honor. [00:11:09] I'm like, okay, that makes sense because honor is praise or recognition for excellence. [00:11:15] So God was recognizing her excellence in this way. [00:11:19] I finally just commended to him, well, what was it? [00:11:21] He said, standing under the cross. [00:11:24] Imperfect virtue. [00:11:26] Later, he revealed that he said, other than the actual passion and death of Jesus Christ, he said it was the most glorious event in all of history. [00:11:38] The demon said that. [00:11:39] The demon said that. === Perfection Above Human Nature (15:03) === [00:11:41] So, what's in your toothpaste? [00:11:42] If you're using the brand you grew up with, you probably don't want to know. [00:11:45] The ingredients likely include fluoride, something called SLS, glycerin, foaming agents. [00:11:50] It's a chemical cocktail. [00:11:53] Van Mann's toothpaste is different. [00:11:55] They're Miracle tooth powder is changing everything, and people are ditching traditional toothpaste full of chemicals by the thousands. [00:12:03] Fan Man's tooth powder uses ingredients with the same mineral structure as your teeth that remineralizes them and strengthens your enamel naturally. [00:12:10] No fluoride at all and totally edible. [00:12:13] You could put it on toast. [00:12:15] Not that you'd want to, but you could. [00:12:17] People who use it report wetter teeth, less plaque. [00:12:19] They wake up without that gross film on their gums. [00:12:21] And here's the amazing part vivid dreams are back. [00:12:25] You dream clearly when you stop coating your mouth in fluoride every night. [00:12:29] Did you know that? [00:12:29] Pretty amazing. [00:12:30] Tells you a lot. [00:12:31] So make the switch. [00:12:32] Visit vanman.shop slash Tucker. [00:12:36] Use the code Tucker for 15% off your first order. [00:12:38] Vanman.shop slash Tucker. [00:12:40] Use the code Tucker. [00:12:41] 15% off. [00:12:43] Vanman, real ingredients, zero exceptions. [00:12:47] So I'm assuming that the demon is speaking through the voice of the person he possesses. [00:12:53] Sometimes. [00:12:54] Sometimes they speak through the person's own voice. [00:12:57] There are the times where they'll assume the characteristics of a voice that is proper to their nature. [00:13:04] And so, Thomas Aquinas makes the observation that the way they manifest so, one of the ways that you know you're dealing with something, these demons, we call it morphing. [00:13:12] The person will actually change shape, so their continents or their face will change. [00:13:16] And then, I mean, it takes on the characteristics that are proper to the demon's personality. [00:13:21] Have you seen people's faces change? [00:13:23] Morphing is about 90% of what you see. [00:13:26] What are the changes like? [00:13:28] It's very subtle, all the way from just recently I prayed over a rather prominent individual. [00:13:35] When I looked at him after the prayers, it can be something very subtle where it's just there's a complexion. [00:13:42] In the writers and the authors, they call it the cherrywood look, where they take on this face where their face turns like this cherrywood color that's impossible for us as human beings to have or replicate on a natural level. [00:13:53] Cherrywood. [00:13:54] Cherrywood. [00:13:54] It's kind of like this red brown color that you just, you're like, yeah, that's not a natural color. [00:14:00] So it'll be everything from something very subtle like that all the way to complete morphing where they change into the shapes of animals. [00:14:07] One case, actually, there's been a couple of cases I've had where women, very feminine looking, all of a sudden morph into it looking like completely like a man. [00:14:15] So you see, these are some of those, the morphing. [00:14:18] While you're sitting there? [00:14:19] While you're praying, usually, is when it actually ends up happening. [00:14:22] And you look down, and the woman you're praying over is now a man? [00:14:24] Looks like a man, yeah. [00:14:26] And it's not just me seeing it, because we have a team that's there present at the time for a variety of different reasons. [00:14:31] They provide different functions, and they'll very often see the same thing. [00:14:35] So they're all seeing the same thing. [00:14:37] Have you seen people's pupils change? [00:14:40] Yes, that's pretty common. [00:14:43] A lot of times they'll hyperdilate and turn very black. [00:14:50] Another more common thing I don't see it too often because certain exorcists will see some things much more regularly than others, but a lot of times their eyes will roll all the way into the back of their head. [00:15:02] All you see is white. [00:15:03] You'll see those. [00:15:04] Those are the kinds of things that you actually see. [00:15:08] But the morphing is one of the, we call it one of the preternatural signs that you know someone's possessed. [00:15:13] You know they're possessed. [00:15:14] How do their voices change? [00:15:17] There's two things that they change. [00:15:19] A lot of times they'll change in just the tone. [00:15:21] They'll start sounding like a man sometimes. [00:15:23] Now, once in a while, the demons will use the person's own vocal voice. [00:15:27] And part of the reason they want to do that is because they don't want you to hear the characteristics of their own voice. [00:15:35] And the reason I say that is because of the fact that an experienced exorcist it's like a boxer. [00:15:42] When you box, when you get into the ring, you can watch all sorts of videos about this guy's technique. [00:15:47] It's not until you get in the ring and box with this guy. [00:15:50] That you actually get a sense of, okay, this is what this guy is actually like. [00:15:54] The reason the demons don't want to attack you, especially if you're an experienced exorcist, is based on a philosophical principle, which is the cause is always some way in the effect. [00:16:06] Anytime they attack you, they reveal something about themselves in that process, and then you can use it against them later. [00:16:14] As an experienced exorcist, they really don't want to get involved with you, although a lot of times Christ still requires them, but they don't want to attack you because then. [00:16:22] Once they attack you, you can find out what his psychology is, what his patterns of thinking are, et cetera, when he's attacking you. [00:16:30] How do they attack you? [00:16:33] One is the oppression, where they attack you from the outside. [00:16:37] The other one is that it's not an obsession in the proper sense, because obsession is something that's ongoing. [00:16:42] But what they'll do is they have the ability to affect our imagination and our emotions. [00:16:47] So a lot of times, what they'll do is when they attack the exorcist, they'll put a perspective on an image in your imagination. [00:16:53] So, for example, a guy when he's first married, he thinks his wife is wonderful. [00:16:58] He gets all this emotional delight because our emotions are moved by what's in our imagination, the perspective specifically. [00:17:04] So, when he's first married, she's wonderful, she's great, I love my wife, look how beautiful it is, she just brought me a beer, isn't that wonderful, etc. [00:17:11] Then, after 10 years, his perspective on her changes because they've had fights and things of that sort. [00:17:16] And so, when he sees her, even though she hasn't changed, his perspective on her, and so his emotional response, Well, demons can put that perspective on your imagination. [00:17:27] So they can actually do that. [00:17:29] And this is one of the ways that they can actually affect relationships. [00:17:32] In fact, the first thing they ever do in a marriage is they try and put a perspective on one of the spouses or both of the spouses to psychologically divide the people. [00:17:42] So the person thinks they see something bad in the other spouse when it's actually not there. [00:17:48] But anyway, what they'll do is when they attack the exorcist, they'll put that perspective on your image and your imagination. [00:17:55] But that perspective then. [00:17:57] Tells me something about his psychology. [00:18:01] So, I've written three books or four books actually in psychology from the way St. Thomas Aquinas understands it, right? [00:18:09] So, and developed it based upon that. [00:18:11] It does incorporate a lot of the stuff in modern psychology, but it actually gives a foundation to it based on an authentic anthropology and not just some wacky view that we have as human beings. [00:18:21] And so, the first time I started to be an exorcist, I just started watching the psychological patterns of demons because I figured. [00:18:29] Well, they have a natural law. [00:18:31] In other words, each demon has its own natural law that it's inclined to specific things and not to others. [00:18:36] So, as human beings, we have a natural law because we're inclined toward things like marriage, eating, living in community and society, and that type of thing. [00:18:43] So, we have a set of inclinations that God placed in us. [00:18:47] Demons have that same thing, except theirs is tailored to their specific nature because each demon's nature is different. [00:18:54] Their species, technically speaking, is different. [00:18:57] And so that's why, in a session, when they manifest, when one demon comes to the fore and the other one leaves, the morphing will change to accommodate that. [00:19:05] And so you immediately know, okay, I'm dealing with this guy rather than that guy. [00:19:08] And actually, after you've dealt with the same demon over and over again, you can do a session and just start out on a new case. [00:19:13] And then once he manifests, you recognize who he is. [00:19:16] You'll see the same demon in different people. [00:19:18] Yes. [00:19:19] Yeah. [00:19:20] How many? [00:19:21] So, this I have so many questions. [00:19:23] I hope you're prepared for a long interview. [00:19:26] This brings us back to my initial question before I sidetracked you with too many other questions, which is what are they and where are they from? [00:19:32] So, they're basically pure spirits. [00:19:34] They don't have a body. [00:19:35] They can act upon us who have bodies and they can act upon physical things, but they don't have a body. [00:19:40] So, they're pure spirits. [00:19:41] They only have two faculties an intellect and a will. [00:19:44] They don't have emotions, but they experience emotions in their will. [00:19:48] So, when they were first created, the entire hierarchy of angels and they're in the billions because it's actually part of the theological tradition that every human being has their own guardian angel and that's from the lowest rank because there's nine of them, nine choirs. [00:20:03] They have the lowest that's just from one of them. [00:20:06] So, there's literally billions of these, but they're all created instantaneously at once. [00:20:10] And then, according to the theological writers, that meant that they were created into a perfect state of knowing because, as I mentioned before, they just have to think about something, use their will. [00:20:21] To move their mind to think about something, and they immediately exhaust everything that they can possibly know about that thing to the degree of their intelligence. [00:20:29] That's why when you ask them questions, as I mentioned before, they never think about it, they just give you the answer. [00:20:34] So they don't have to sit and reason it out, they just immediately know it. [00:20:39] So, that first instance, they were created in an act of knowing, and that meant they knew who God was, who they were, what their nature was, what He was asking of them as an assigned task. [00:20:49] Because God, every single angel that was created, was given a. [00:20:53] God created Him to perform. [00:20:54] Form a specific task. [00:20:57] For example, Gabriel was basically created, his task was to do the Annunciation to our Lady. [00:21:04] We see Michael, St. Michael, his originally assigned task is, according to the theological tradition, that he's actually the guardian angel of the elect. [00:21:17] That's why he was originally the guardian angel of the Jewish religion, but then once they apostatized and because they refused to accept Christ, he then Became the guardian angel of the elect of the Christian religion. [00:21:31] So that he became the and that's also why we read in the scripture in the book of Revelation, Saint Michael was given the power by God to cast the demons down from heaven after they fell because his goal was to protect the elect that were in heaven. [00:21:47] And so that was his function. [00:21:48] So they're all given an assigned task. [00:21:50] Okay. [00:21:51] So they know all these things. [00:21:52] They also know all about the angels behind us. [00:21:55] They also know what Satan, or at the time Lucifer, is being tempted with. [00:21:59] As far as his fault, because so they were created in this state, and then they have this act of knowledge. [00:22:06] That's their first instance. [00:22:07] And then there's a concomitant act of will of delight. [00:22:09] They see how magnificent God's creation is and how beautiful it is. [00:22:15] Then they have to make their choice. [00:22:17] Are you going to do what God is asking or not? [00:22:18] Now, in that choice, there's something very specific that has to happen. [00:22:23] There is some perfection that they see that is above them that they have to be willing to let go of. [00:22:30] Otherwise, in order to perform their task, they're going to be damned if they don't, basically. [00:22:38] They have to be willing to let go of this. [00:22:40] And basically, even under duress, in session, you can compel the demons, they'll admit it, that they're First sin, even though it was usually pride or envy of some sort, because that envy of some perfection that someone had, that their first sin was pride or envy, but they failed to sacrifice that thing that they wanted. [00:23:04] They literally wanted something that God had not intended for them. [00:23:09] And so, and this is why, at the core of it, Thomas Aquinas makes an observation. [00:23:16] He says, in the end, there's one thing that God wants from Every intelligent creature, and that's sacrificing his will to God, to him. [00:23:26] So then that meant they had to accept their task, which is below this perfection. [00:23:31] So they had to accept this lower task. [00:23:34] But then they made their choice. [00:23:37] And because, unlike us, you know, Tucker's general rule human beings are pretty stupid. [00:23:44] Yeah. [00:23:45] And so that's why. [00:23:46] Yeah, exactly. [00:23:47] That's why God has mercy on us, right? [00:23:48] Because you're just like, man, this guy's just clueless, right? [00:23:51] And so, and because a lot of. [00:23:52] Then basically that just means that we don't have. [00:23:54] Full knowledge of what we're doing. [00:23:55] The demons had absolute pure knowledge. [00:23:58] So when they made their choice, it was unadulterated malice. [00:24:02] They knew that God even gave them the grace to accept their task, but they absolutely refused to accept it. [00:24:08] The third of the angels that fell, because we know that from the book of Revelation, where it talks about how the dragon swept a third of the stars down. [00:24:15] And that's the fathers of the church say that that was an indicator that a third of the angels fell and became demons as a result of it. [00:24:22] So the demons are actually fallen angels whose will is now fixed. [00:24:26] So once they make their choice, it's All in. [00:24:30] It's not half hearted. [00:24:31] No, it's a full choice. [00:24:33] They're either going to accept God's will or they're not going to do it. [00:24:36] And then the third instance is right after that, then if they refuse to accept their task, then they're damned immediately. [00:24:42] So they immediately experience what we call in the Catholic theology the pain of loss. [00:24:47] They immediately experience, I'm never going to see God. [00:24:50] I'm never going to see Him. [00:24:51] And that's where our ultimate happiness is. [00:24:53] So they know they're going to be miserable. [00:24:55] Plus, they have remorse of conscience and all those things because they're intelligent creatures. [00:25:00] But then, of those who are faithful, then they immediately got to see God. [00:25:04] And then, of course, we read from scripture there was a battle that ensues, which is a battle of the wills in heaven, because that's all they have is intellect and will. [00:25:12] They battle through their wills. [00:25:13] But then at a certain point, God said, That's enough. [00:25:15] And then he sends St. Michael to cast him down. [00:25:18] So it's a long winded way of saying that basically demons are fallen angels who are now bent on malice and evil. [00:25:26] We are strongly pro dog on this show. [00:25:29] We make no secret of that. [00:25:30] Dogs are one of the great blessings of this life. [00:25:32] And to keep them healthy, we recommend Dutch. [00:25:34] It's the solution to skyrocketing veterinary costs. [00:25:38] Why are those costs so high? [00:25:39] Well, private equity, in case you didn't already know that. [00:25:42] Big investors have bought up veterinary clinics across the country and doubled the amount they charge. [00:25:48] So, they're exploiting your love for animals to make money. [00:25:51] And are they providing better services? [00:25:53] Well, if you can't afford to go to the vet, you get no services at all. [00:25:56] We did a whole show on this, and it's really distressing. [00:25:59] Dutch is the solution to this. [00:26:01] Licensed veterinarians, easy remote appointments, start with the code TUCKER, plans at just $82 per year. [00:26:09] That's like nothing compared to what you will get if you walk into a private equity owned vet. [00:26:15] 50% of Dutch customers say they had not seen a vet in three years because they couldn't afford it. [00:26:20] Dutch fixes that. [00:26:21] 10 minute calls. [00:26:22] No waiting room, no clinic markup, free shipping on products, coverage for up to five pets. [00:26:28] Visit Dutch.com slash Tucker. [00:26:30] Use the code Tucker for $50 off. [00:26:34] Truly, Dutch is real. [00:26:35] It works. [00:26:37] We did a lot of research into this, used it before recommending it. [00:26:41] Dutch.com slash Tucker. === Dutch Vet Plans for Families (02:51) === [00:26:45] Benta, malice, and evil. [00:26:47] I have my own theories about what that looks like. [00:26:49] Let me just list a few violence. [00:26:51] Yes. [00:26:52] Chaos. [00:26:52] Division among people. [00:26:54] The destruction of beauty. [00:26:56] That's correct. [00:26:57] Those are the obvious that I notice all around me. [00:26:59] Yeah. [00:27:00] Are there others? [00:27:02] I mean, is that correct? [00:27:04] Yeah, no, that's correct. [00:27:05] I mean, under those, you would see, you know, sometimes we say the true, the good, and the beautiful is what they work against. [00:27:13] Yes. [00:27:14] And truth, I'm sorry. [00:27:15] Truth is the obvious one. [00:27:16] Yeah. [00:27:17] So they'll mitigate against that. [00:27:19] And that's part of that perspective, putting those perspectives on you so that you don't judge the reality, the situation, the truth of what it really is. [00:27:26] The historic definition of truth is the adequation of intellect to thing, that my mind conforms to the way the thing is in reality. [00:27:33] And we know this intuitively. [00:27:34] If somebody is telling us that this wall over here is purple, you look at it and it's brown and you're like, no, it's not. [00:27:40] So you know that there's something wrong because their mind is in incongruity with reality. [00:27:43] They don't know the truth about that. [00:27:46] Well, what they do is they try and jade your perspective on the reality of the situation, and that's how they cause damage among human beings and relationships and marriage, which is one of the things they're majorly under attacking now a lot of. [00:27:57] They're doing a lot of marriages. [00:27:59] Marriages. [00:28:01] So, but basically, their goal is to get us to commit sin and basically place ourselves in this point where we're damned as a result of what we do. [00:28:15] Are there, you said recently we're seeing a lot of attacks on marriages. [00:28:19] That suggests there are cycles in the behavior of demons? [00:28:24] There is, in the sense that because the, as I mentioned, the natures of things are infused in them, but also every physical or every individual thing that's happening throughout the universe is infused in their mind as it happens. [00:28:36] So if they want to know what's going on in Saturn, they just think of Saturn and boom, they see what's going on there. [00:28:41] It's the same thing with this. [00:28:42] If they want to know what we're talking about, all they have to do is think about the concept of. [00:28:46] Humanity and look inside of that and see us as individuals of human beings, and then they can see what we're actually talking about. [00:28:52] That's how their mode of knowing is. [00:28:54] This is why they can't be in error about things. [00:28:58] Even the demons are not erroneous. [00:29:00] A lot of times when you can trick them, it's because they're basing their choice or their things on the most likely thing based upon what you said. [00:29:09] They're not in error about what you said, they may not know what your intention is. [00:29:14] I'm talking about like in session. [00:29:15] But anyway, the point being is that they basically are. [00:29:21] They go through phases where their goal is ultimately to destroy the Christian religion. [00:29:26] That's their goal, ultimately, because they know deep down that is the religion that Christ established, period. [00:29:33] And so, and it's so obvious. === Demons Targeting Christian Faith (03:06) === [00:29:36] Yeah. [00:29:36] I mean, I didn't even understand, I still don't understand most of this, but I just watching the intent of almost everything, well, say the U.S. government does, it's aimed at Jesus. [00:29:48] Yeah, or even the mainstream news media. [00:29:50] I mean, a lot of times they're just, you know, You can talk about anything about Christ, although that dynamic has changed a little bit more recently, a little bit. [00:29:57] But generally, it's Christianity that's under attack. [00:30:00] You can be any other religion you want. [00:30:01] You can believe anything, do anything you want, but don't, whatever you do, don't be Christian. [00:30:05] Yeah, and especially don't use the J word except as an epithet. [00:30:09] Yeah, yeah. [00:30:10] Exactly. [00:30:11] Yeah, no, I came to this backwards just sort of noticing, like, hmm, I see a pattern here. [00:30:16] What is this? [00:30:17] Yeah. [00:30:17] That's how I got interested in this topic. [00:30:19] But. [00:30:21] So do you think the United States, specifically where you live, is under greater demonic attack than it has been? [00:30:29] Historically, yes. [00:30:30] And I usually tell people this particular aspect of it. [00:30:34] So, under Satan, this has been the common experience of exorcists for centuries that under Satan, there are five demons. [00:30:42] They're called by different names like the council, the generals, but their job is to execute the plans of Satan that he wants done in this life. [00:30:50] The first one is Baal, who is the spirit of fornication, the spirit of impurity. [00:30:55] So, in the United States, when they shot down the anti fornication laws, and they basically, you know, and then plus you have all the problems with porography and that type of thing, is freedom of expression and all that. [00:31:11] Once they allowed that, they ceded the territory to Baal. [00:31:15] After Baal, and we get this from St. Paul, he says, well, if people give in to lust, then eventually men start sleeping with men and women start sleeping with women. [00:31:21] So, the next three the first one is Asmodeus, which is he's a demon of impurity, but he's specifically the demon of homosexuality in men. [00:31:30] What's his name? [00:31:31] Asmodeus. [00:31:32] Asmodeus is sometimes how you hear it pronounced as well. [00:31:36] So, in cases of possession, if you have a guy that is possessed and he's had homosexual experience, it's a pretty good bet that Asmodeus is one of the possessors. [00:31:49] Do you call him by name? [00:31:51] Yes, at a certain point. [00:31:52] In fact, the ritual that the church has us do tells you to ask the names. [00:31:59] Once you know the name of the demon, you can actually know a bit about his history because these guys are throughout history. [00:32:07] You can actually go and read. [00:32:08] Asmodeus is mentioned actually in scripture. [00:32:10] You can also study, for example, the demon Isis. [00:32:13] You can actually study the history of the Isis cult and you'll actually understand certain aspects of his personality because he engendered it. [00:32:21] One of the ones I had more recently was the demon Loki, who's a demon of mischief. [00:32:29] Once I got the name out of him, I went and researched Loki. [00:32:32] This demon was a spit image of this, a spitting image of this, of this, of the mythology behind this guy. === Asmodeus and Historical Cults (06:38) === [00:32:43] Getting him under control was very difficult. [00:32:44] Okay, so all that means What does it mean, mischief? [00:32:48] He was just constantly trying to create havoc and, you know, he's a bit of a jokester and he just doesn't want to obey commands and he just, you know. [00:32:56] And so it was very difficult to get him to be compliant in relationship to doing what he's supposed to do. [00:33:01] And what were the problems that the person possessed by this demon was experiencing? [00:33:06] Excessive religiosity. [00:33:09] Really? [00:33:09] Yeah. [00:33:10] What does that mean? [00:33:11] It means in the sense of doing things that's actually spiritually harmful to them under the guise of religion. [00:33:18] Huh. [00:33:19] So, like, for example, fasting, fasting excessively, or praying to the point where you're neglecting your duties that you're supposed to be doing, your duties of your state in life, that type of thing. [00:33:30] And so, because Christ expects, like, you as a father, God expects you, hey, you've got to be taking care of your kids. [00:33:35] Well, this is something Jesus lectured the Pharisees about. [00:33:37] Yes. [00:33:37] He said, you're ignoring your parents because you said this wealth goes to God. [00:33:41] That's right. [00:33:42] That's exactly right. [00:33:43] And it's the same thing. [00:33:43] So, you can get people the way we see it a lot is you'll get married women who will spend all their time at church and they're neglecting their family at home. [00:33:51] For example. [00:33:53] And that's the product of a demonic attack. [00:33:56] It can be in the sense that the demons can begin to foster through temptation. [00:34:01] They can foster that type of thinking that I'm doing a good thing because, hey, look, I'm looking at church. [00:34:05] I get it. [00:34:06] Well, you probably heard a lot about the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, BB, on this show and elsewhere. [00:34:13] He's the guy who's always at the White House working to suck the United States into some war of conquest on behalf of his country. [00:34:20] But what you may not know is that the charges against Netanyahu are real. [00:34:24] Corruption charges. [00:34:25] They tell you a lot about him. [00:34:27] What exactly do you know about this man who's apparently in charge of the United States? [00:34:31] Well, we are now streaming The BB Files. [00:34:35] It's a documentary that pulls back the curtain on Benjamin Netanyahu. [00:34:39] This film traces the rise of the longest serving prime minister in the history of Israel and the corruption cases surrounding him. [00:34:46] Hear from former staff and Israeli insiders describing what Benjamin Netanyahu is really like and see leaked interrogation footage from his corruption investigations. [00:34:56] Video that you were not meant to see and that they definitely don't want you to see. [00:35:00] The BB files it offers a rare look inside Israel's power structure and the man whose decisions have once again drawn our country into another war, a big war. [00:35:10] You can stream it now only at TuckerCarlson.com. [00:35:16] So, when you actually know the duty that God wants you to be, things, you know, taking care of your kids and your husband, etc. [00:35:22] So, Asmodeus is the demon of homosexuality in men. [00:35:26] In women, when he's cast out, do the impulses leave? [00:35:30] Yeah, it's kind of interesting that you asked that question. [00:35:33] I actually had a case that had the noonday devil mentioned in Psalm 91 as a possessor. [00:35:38] And once I found out who he was, I went and I researched in the fathers who is this guy? [00:35:46] It's very fascinating. [00:35:47] He's actually the demon of the midlife crisis, according to the this is the fathers of the church. [00:35:51] The guys that were around after the apostles all the way up to about 800 referred to him as the demon of the midlife crisis. [00:35:57] But he's also the demon of Achadia or spiritual sloth. [00:36:02] So once I found out about who he was, I started. [00:36:05] But then during one of the sessions, after the sessions, we'll often talk to the people that are possessed and say, What did you experience? [00:36:13] Because a lot of times the demon will communicate to the person what they're experiencing. [00:36:19] The exorcist won't see it or hear it, but the person is experiencing what the demon is often going through. [00:36:25] And so he said, Well, the noonday devil kept crying out to Asmodeus, Asmodeus, Asmodeus. [00:36:35] Now, this is a guy that was married. [00:36:37] To a beautiful young wife with two children, and I said, Do you have homosexual ideation? [00:36:43] And he says, Yeah, and I don't know where it's coming from. [00:36:45] He didn't have the trauma that's normally associated with guys that have all that. [00:36:49] He didn't have the psychological history. [00:36:51] So I did a part to sever the connection between the Noonday Devil and Asmodeus, and boom, from that point on, he never had the ideation again. [00:36:59] Now, I'm not suggesting that all homosexuality is diabolic. [00:37:02] I'm just saying that because people can become homosexual through psychological, there's a whole psychology behind it. [00:37:09] But the demons can drive those kinds of thoughts. [00:37:12] You'll get guys who are normal, heterosexual men, and all of a sudden they'll just Out of the blue, they'll get a thought about something like that. [00:37:19] Well, that's not your thought. [00:37:21] That's usually something that's diabolic. [00:37:23] The difficulty we're having in our culture, though, is that we're forming perverts, basically. [00:37:30] We keep putting stuff on the news media and on YouTube and that type of thing where we're making these associations between this thing and that thing. [00:37:36] And over the course of time, people's minds begin formed by that. [00:37:39] And so they're becoming perverted in the process where they automatically presume if a guy's unmarried, he's got to be gay. [00:37:46] You know, that kind of a thing. [00:37:47] Well, that may or may not necessarily be the case. [00:37:49] So we're making those associations. [00:37:51] Okay. [00:37:52] In women, there's two demons of homosexuality. [00:37:55] The first is Lilith, who is of the more passive, feminine kind of homosexual women. [00:38:05] These are women that you look at them and you're like, oh, you seem like a pretty decent looking gal. [00:38:08] Why didn't you just go get a guy? [00:38:10] You know, that type of a thing. [00:38:11] So these are women that they're not acrimonious, they're very, very passive, more seductive side of things. [00:38:18] The other one is Leviathan. [00:38:20] And Leviathan is the demon of homosexuality in women of the more aggressive kind. [00:38:25] My nickname for him is the women who are heavy on the heels, right? [00:38:28] Yeah. [00:38:28] Yeah. [00:38:29] So these are the butchy women that are very, you know, masculine, actually. [00:38:32] So you'll see that kind of phenomenon actually happen. [00:38:36] So then I tell people when they actually allowed gay marriage, they ceded our country to that tier of diabolic influence. [00:38:47] And then the last one is there's some debate whether it's Moloch or Balfame, because exorcists have different experiences of it. [00:38:54] But Balfame is the primary demon, although Moloch is also a demon of child sacrifice. [00:39:00] But Balfame is the demon of child sacrifice, abortion. [00:39:03] So when they allowed abortion in this country, so you have those five generals now basically have a gainsay over our country, and so their influence is extremely powerful. [00:39:15] And we know this just by virtue of the fact, like to try and get rid of abortion is like extracting teeth without Novocaine. [00:39:20] It's just so brutal. === Contracts of Child Sacrifice (14:47) === [00:39:21] Difficult to get done. [00:39:23] And that's because the demons empower the people that are keeping it in place because the demons love abortion, basically. [00:39:31] It's interesting that child sacrifice seems to be a feature of most religions, really, historically around the world. [00:39:38] Like there's almost no region in the world that we haven't found evidence of human sacrifice, child sacrifice. [00:39:44] So clearly there's something real there. [00:39:47] It's not like the Incas and some Central African tribe didn't kind of come up with this because they were talking to each other on the internet. [00:39:55] That's right. [00:39:56] There's something organic and real about it. [00:39:58] What is that? [00:39:58] Well, I think it's the tendency of demons towards those specific things. [00:40:03] But do the people who participate in child sacrifice, whether it's abortion or voodoo or muti in Africa or whatever, do they receive power from us? [00:40:14] Some of them do, actually. [00:40:15] But usually, in order for them to receive power from it, usually it's the opposite. [00:40:19] They become a subject. [00:40:21] There's a subjection now that they're under the demons as a result of being engaged in that behavior. [00:40:26] But there are certain people that are intentionally involved in the occult arts that engage in these specific Things to empower themselves. [00:40:32] Yes, for sure. [00:40:33] Very common. [00:40:33] Yeah, and it's exploding. [00:40:37] But does it work in the short term? [00:40:39] I mean, so the trade is in Haiti, in Africa, here, Santeria, the trade is I pledge allegiance to a demon and in exchange I receive power, wealth. [00:40:53] Does that work? [00:40:55] So, the technical term for that is a pact. [00:40:57] You enter into a pact with a demon, right? [00:40:59] Yes. [00:40:59] Now, a pact is a form of contract. [00:41:01] And there are certain aspects of a contract. [00:41:05] And so, one of the aspects of a contract is there has to be a guarantee that you can fulfill the terms of the contract. [00:41:10] You know, like, for example, if you enter into a contract for some guy to mow your lawn, but he doesn't even own a lawnmower and he's never going to bother buying one, well, then he can't fulfill the terms of the contract. [00:41:20] The problem with the demons is because they're subject completely to Christ and cannot do anything unless he allows it. [00:41:28] They can't guarantee they can fulfill the terms of the contract. [00:41:31] So, what that basically means is that because of the disordered act of entering into the pact, you can still become subject to them, but they may or may not be able to deliver on their side of the contract. [00:41:43] So, I've had a case of possession or more than one, but where they entered into a pact with the devil and the devil couldn't give them anything, but the person ended up possessed as a result of entering into that pact. [00:41:52] And destroyed. [00:41:55] Fortunately, these people climbed out of it because they actually sought the help and did what they needed to do in order to become liberated. [00:42:00] From the diabolic influence, but a lot of people just become destroyed. [00:42:04] There are times, however, though, that God will allow the demons to fulfill the terms of the contract. [00:42:10] Now, what most people think is that they think, oh, well, the demon's doing what I'm asking him to do, you know. [00:42:15] But what they don't realize is each individual time he does what they ask, they become more subject to him and it becomes harder and harder to get out from underneath that subjection. [00:42:25] They're accruing debt. [00:42:26] Exactly. [00:42:27] How did you get into this? [00:42:29] I was minding my own business. [00:42:33] I'm an academic. [00:42:35] Because I was teaching in a seminary at the time, and a case in the Archdiocese of Omaha came up, and they didn't have an exorcist. [00:42:47] Naively, I just told the Archdiocese, I said, Well, get one, just find some precinct. [00:42:51] At that time, there were only 13 exorcists in the country, and about five knew what they were doing. [00:42:59] So there were very, very few. [00:43:03] Eventually, they ended up asking me to do it because I had written a book in psychology where I had. [00:43:08] Consulted with a number of different exorcists to deal with the interchange between how demons affect us psychologically. [00:43:14] Because there are specific patterns that you'll begin to see that are distinguished from something that's just pure mental illness as opposed to something that's purely diabolic, which is different from the intramix. [00:43:25] So, if you saw the movie Nefarious, that's that interchange between the human and the diabolic psychology that you saw. [00:43:34] But anyway, so they asked me to do the case, and so once I agreed to do it, And it had to do with the fact that when the case was diagnosed, the demon manifested to me the first time because the pastor I was with asked me to pray over this guy, so I did, and boom, he immediately manifested. [00:43:53] The demon did. [00:43:54] And that was an indicator that usually when demons will manifest in relationship to a priest, it's an indicator that that's the priest that's going to liberate, usually. [00:44:03] And that's because demons are very tuned to the power structure, and so they know this is the guy that Christ is intended for me to take their slacking from. [00:44:14] So I started being their exorcist. [00:44:15] I did that for about two years. [00:44:18] And then I was actually moved to take care of a problematic parish to clean it up. [00:44:24] But I continued doing exorcisms for the Archdiocese of Omaha and a couple of other dioceses, actually. [00:44:32] Again, because there was virtually nobody that was available. [00:44:35] And then in 2011, Bishop Slattery of Tulsa asked me to found a society of priests that this is exclusively what we do. [00:44:43] We only do exorcism work, we don't do parish work. [00:44:47] I do lecture publicly, but primarily about this particular area to inform the people about what they can do to keep themselves protected. [00:44:54] So that's how I kind of got drug into it. [00:44:56] And so I've been doing exorcisms for about 18 years. [00:44:59] So when you started, there were five capable exorcists, you said. [00:45:02] How many are there now in the U.S.? [00:45:03] Well, right now, there's probably about 130 to 140 exorcists that are mandated or named by their bishops. [00:45:10] But out of that 140, maybe only about 20 to 25, I would feel comfortable sending someone knowing that they're going to get the help they actually need. [00:45:17] Because this is historically in the Catholic Church, this was done by mentorship. [00:45:22] So, even though I've written a book on diabolic influence, that's the academic side. [00:45:30] But you have to sit in on session and see how you actually have to handle these guys because you're basically handling like a piece of nitroglycerin. [00:45:36] You can talk to them about don't do this and don't do that, but they actually have to see it. [00:45:40] And so there was a mentorship. [00:45:42] Well, that mentorship collapsed in the 50s, which we talked about before. [00:45:46] And so now we're getting that back up off the ground. [00:45:48] And so a lot of the guys that haven't been under that, a good mentorship. [00:45:54] And that's why there's so few that actually are very proficient at this. [00:45:57] Clinical exorcists. [00:45:59] Kind of, yeah. [00:46:00] thing. [00:46:01] Yeah, that's right. [00:46:02] Yeah. [00:46:06] like a potentially dangerous job yeah okay so So that's a very good observation. [00:46:13] The way it works is so the church actually has it's called the prenotanda or the note, which is basically a series of do's and don'ts, right? [00:46:24] But there's also ones that's also part of the mentorship too is to be trained. [00:46:28] There's a set of guardrails. [00:46:30] If you stay in your lane and you don't get out of that lane theologically by doing something that's theologically daft or it's bad, you're relatively safe. [00:46:42] You're not going to, you're not, nothing grave is going to happen to you. [00:46:45] Now, it doesn't mean that you don't get beat around a little bit. [00:46:47] You're stepping into a boxing ring, right? [00:46:50] And so the, and that's why they'll, a lot of times they'll afflict you with certain thoughts or they'll do certain things to, like try and affect your health and things like that. [00:47:00] That's one of the reasons why this Society of Priests that I started, we're semi contemplative. [00:47:03] We pray three to four hours a day. [00:47:05] And we pray primarily to, in addition to maintaining that unity with Christ, because as long as you stay with Christ, you're safe. [00:47:14] It's when you try to branch out on your own or you think that it's actually not, that it's you liberating these people and not Christ, that's when you're going to get taken to the woodshed. [00:47:22] And so what we do is we pray three to four hours a day, and it deals with all the different kinds of diabolic influence, everything from normal temptation to oppression to obsession. [00:47:32] To keep us protected. [00:47:33] So, we have a specific set of prayers to create a protection by keeping us under Christ and keeping that protection in place. [00:47:40] So, if you do it, if you stay in your lane, you're relatively safe. [00:47:43] It doesn't mean that, like I said, you're going to get beat around a little bit. [00:47:48] But the good news about that is it also the first two years of the exorcist is the worst. [00:47:55] And the reason being is because the demons are probing and testing every single area of your weakness. [00:47:58] And they know your weaknesses are because they've been watching you your whole life. [00:48:02] And so they'll start picking at certain areas of your moral weaknesses and things of that sort, or even psychological tendencies that may not be necessarily healthy. [00:48:11] And they'll start picking at those things. [00:48:13] And so you have to really shore those up in a hurry because otherwise you're going to get taken down. [00:48:19] I've seen a lot of priests actually that became exorcists initially who didn't get that cleaned up and did get taken down. [00:48:25] So you have to be very. [00:48:26] I believe that. [00:48:27] Yeah. [00:48:27] So you have to really. [00:48:29] Stay in your lane and do everything you can to eradicate any defect, spiritual, moral, or otherwise, that you might have. [00:48:38] It's very obvious to me that demonic forces go after Christian leadership. [00:48:44] Yes. [00:48:44] It's one of the reasons so many of them are rotten. [00:48:47] I feel sorry for them. [00:48:48] And also, leadership in general. [00:48:50] The U.S. Congress has a much higher incidence of diseased personal lives than the American population. [00:48:57] That's right. [00:48:58] And that's not an accident because they have authority. [00:49:00] I mean, that's just what I've noticed. [00:49:01] Do you think that's true? [00:49:02] Oh, I think that's absolutely true. [00:49:04] I mean, as far as the Christian leaders, a lot of times what happens is a lot of times they'll start out with good intentions. [00:49:08] Totally. [00:49:09] But then when they get to that position of power, it attracts the demons. [00:49:12] Because for demons, because they're cut off from God, they no longer have grace. [00:49:18] They don't even know the economy of grace. [00:49:19] And by that I mean, in the sense they don't even know what helps that God is going to give to different people to get their lives together. [00:49:25] They have no access to any of that knowledge. [00:49:26] They don't have any of that. [00:49:29] They hate each other. [00:49:30] They can't stand each other. [00:49:31] So they don't even have the common. [00:49:32] They hate each other. [00:49:32] Yeah, they hate each other. [00:49:33] Completely hate each other. [00:49:34] So they do. [00:49:35] Yeah. [00:49:35] And so as a result of that, they can't, they have, the only reason they get along is because they have a common end, which is to take us down, right? [00:49:41] I mean, you're describing people I know. [00:49:45] I'm getting there. [00:49:46] I'm sorry. [00:49:47] I'm getting there. [00:49:49] So the only thing that's left with the demons is because they were created in a hierarchy. [00:49:55] So how intelligent they are, they have a will that's proportionately intelligent, as strong to that intelligence. [00:50:01] And different demons have different degrees of intelligence. [00:50:03] And so basically what that means is that. [00:50:06] Their wills, one demon's will is stronger than another. [00:50:08] So in hell, there's only one thing that's left, and that's raw power. [00:50:14] And so what happens is but it's also but that power is melded with malice and self servitude and that type of thing. [00:50:22] And so what happens is that when you see people that go into positions of power, that attracts the demons because they know if I can get control of this guy, then I can basically use his power that he has to cause all this other damage or to take other people down. [00:50:40] That means there's two. [00:50:41] So, as I mentioned, a lot of the Christian leaders go with the right intentions. [00:50:46] But when you're talking about politics or in the civil affairs where power is involved, sometimes people go in it with the right intentions, but then they get corrupted afterwards because the demons start. [00:50:55] When you get that high profile, the demons are going to be really spending a lot of time and energy trying to take you down. [00:51:01] But the other side of it is, too, is that, and we've seen this even in the Catholic Church, they'll get the wrong types of people into positions of authority. [00:51:09] They know this particular person has this defect. [00:51:11] They'll give the person the inspiration you should go into politics. [00:51:16] You should rule. [00:51:17] You should be the governor. [00:51:18] And so then they'll incline the person to go into that governorship, knowing that because of this person's psychological compatibility with them, with the demons, that they can manipulate this person to cause all sorts of damage. [00:51:31] Man, have I seen that a lot? [00:51:33] I mean, you must watch the news with your jaw open because you know what's happening. [00:51:39] I watch the news from a distance because it's almost like being in session. [00:51:43] Like, I just saw that this afternoon. [00:51:46] Really? [00:51:47] Yeah. [00:51:47] In fact, that's actually one of the reasons. [00:51:51] There's two things that I think you find interesting. [00:51:53] I actually did a series on how communism and diabolic psychology are identical. [00:51:58] When you strip the veneer away of one being political and the other one being from the spirit world, we pull that veneer away. [00:52:04] The patterns of thinking are exactly the same. [00:52:07] Is that true? [00:52:08] Yeah, it is. [00:52:09] It is. [00:52:09] Can you, that's worth lingering on for a moment. [00:52:13] Can you describe what you see as similar between the way demons behave and the way that the Bolsheviks behaved? [00:52:18] Yeah. [00:52:19] I mean, well, we see it even happening in our own country in the sense that demons always present a temptation as this pie in the sky great thing that you're going to get and you're going to get all this pleasure and joy and everything's going to turn out right. [00:52:33] This dog's got a ditch. [00:52:35] There you go. [00:52:36] But they'll present it as, you know, this is a great thing. [00:52:39] You're going to get this pleasure. [00:52:40] You're going to get this. [00:52:41] You're going to get power. [00:52:42] You're going to get. [00:52:43] But then once they get. [00:52:46] And so then you give in to the temptation, and then from there they take you down. [00:52:50] It's the exact same thing in communism. [00:52:54] It's a pie in the sky thing. [00:52:55] We're going to have nirvana because, you know, nobody's going to have to. [00:52:58] You know, there's not going to be any private property. [00:53:01] You're never going to have to worry. [00:53:03] The government's going to provide everything. [00:53:04] Everything's going to be peaceful and joyful, and it's because of capitalism that there's all these wars. [00:53:09] You know, it's. [00:53:10] They sell you a bill of goods, they get you to sign off on it, and then from there they take you down. [00:53:15] And that's exactly what the communists do. [00:53:17] This is one of the reasons why one of the patterns in relationship to politicians in this country that are clearly communist. [00:53:26] I always watch I say, you can just watch the pattern. [00:53:28] They'll start out idealistic, but I always tell people, give them a couple years and you're going to see the malice. [00:53:34] Oh, yeah. [00:53:35] And that's what you see. [00:53:36] Hurting people. [00:53:37] Yes, exactly. [00:53:38] And they think it's justified to achieve this good thing in the end. [00:53:42] But here's another one. [00:53:43] And you see that exact pattern of behavior in demons? [00:53:46] Yeah, in forms of temptation, when they diabolically obsess people about certain things. [00:53:51] You know, obsession is where the demons besiege their imagination and their emotions to such a degree that the person can't really think outside the box. [00:53:58] Oh, man, who hasn't been there? [00:54:00] Yeah, well, that's it. [00:54:01] And this is one of the reasons why, but from that you can self liberate just where you're just totally distracted all the time because you're focused on this one thing. === Diabolic Influence on Suicide (15:37) === [00:54:09] Yes. [00:54:09] Usually it's lust related, but not always. [00:54:11] Sometimes it's greed related or. [00:54:13] Right. [00:54:13] And a lot of times, the way you know it's diabolic is if it's from yourself, you can usually like, okay, I got to put that side of that. [00:54:19] And then you go on. [00:54:20] But when it's from the demons, you'll kick it out and it comes back. [00:54:22] You kick it out and it comes back. [00:54:23] And it's kind of this battle of just trying to keep that thing at bay. [00:54:27] Being angry at people is. [00:54:29] Yes. [00:54:30] Yeah. [00:54:31] Another sign of diabolic obsession is it'll switch on and it'll switch off without any external stimulus. [00:54:37] You'll wake up in the morning just torched. [00:54:38] You're like, why am I mad? [00:54:40] Or something will happen and you're just like, why am I sad or why am I angry at this particular person, et cetera. [00:54:46] And so, one of the forms of diabolic when they affect people psychologically, you see this even with people getting fired for no reason whatsoever because the demons step in and say, Hey, you've got to get rid of this person. [00:54:57] Put a perspective that there's something wrong with this person. [00:54:59] Then you go back afterwards after the person's gone. [00:55:01] You ask Like if you have the highest rated show on TV and all of a sudden they fire you one day? [00:55:05] Yeah, exactly. [00:55:08] I should have said that. [00:55:09] Well, yeah, but it's proof, though, that the demons, anybody that is starting to get a little too close to how the demons are functioning in society or in corporation or whatever the case is. [00:55:19] You start getting, you start really seeking the truth regardless of the personal cost. [00:55:23] The name is like, we got to get this guy out of here. [00:55:26] And then technically, the term for that is a snare. [00:55:29] They can put a perspective on a particular individual thinking there's something wrong with this guy. [00:55:33] We got to get rid of him. [00:55:34] That is fascinating. [00:55:36] I'm sorry. [00:55:36] I never should have tied it to myself. [00:55:38] This is certainly not about me, but I just couldn't resist that. [00:55:41] So here's another one in relationship to the politics, but you've probably even seen this even in the news media industry. [00:55:47] So one case that I had, it's the only case I've ever had of. [00:55:52] Satan as the possessor. [00:55:54] Those kinds of cases are very, very rare, even historically. [00:55:58] And the only reason I thought he was actually, this has got to be the guy's, because he was trying to kill this woman that he was possessing. [00:56:04] And he was also, for three straight days, I beat this guy ruthlessly in a session, and he just lied all the time. [00:56:10] Even when it would go better for him if he just told the truth, he would just lie, which is what Christ said about him. [00:56:15] He said he was a liar and a murderer from the beginning. [00:56:19] But anyway, at a certain point, what came out was, so. [00:56:25] In heaven, there are nemeses, just as St. Michael fights and battles against the demons. [00:56:29] There's nemeses in heaven against the demons. [00:56:32] So the demons actually have nemeses, specific holy people in heaven that actually combat them or deal with them. [00:56:39] And very often it's because of the facts, like, for example, the demon against the noonday devil is actually St. Catherine of Alexandria because of the fact that she conquered him by conquering that particular aspect of human nature, which is the tendency just being slothful and lazy, right? [00:56:57] In this particular case with Satan, the nemesis was St. Joan of Arc. [00:57:03] And the reason it was St. Joan of Arc, as it starts to come out in the case, because you have a series of sessions and stuff starts to be revealed about the dynamics of the case and why Christ allowed it and why is this particular demon possessing this person at this time and for whatever reason. [00:57:20] And what basically came out was that St. Joan of Arc was the nemesis because she actually showed up during one of the sessions. [00:57:26] I don't see her, but the person who's possessed actually saw her. [00:57:30] Appear and the demon just completely freaked out and starts running straight at me. [00:57:37] And when I'm watching him run straight at me, I'm like, he's not coming at me. [00:57:40] He's trying to get away from something. [00:57:42] She literally ran over the top of me and runs the woman that's possessed, but it was actually the demon, goes and goes and cowers in the corner. [00:57:48] And so I asked the woman, I said, what after the session was over, I asked the woman, what happened? [00:57:53] She said, well, Joan of Arc appeared. [00:57:54] That's how terrified they are of the people in heaven. [00:57:58] Well, over the course of time, what came out is that the reason St. Joan of Arc was the nemesis of Satan in this particular Case was because of the fact that St. Joan of Arc is the nemesis to Satan under the aspect of treason through ambition. [00:58:14] Yeah. [00:58:16] And through ambition. [00:58:18] And the reason Joan of Arc is the nemesis of him under that aspect is because she was put to death by a bishop who was French, who was siding with the English so that he could get a higher bishopric, he would advance in the church. [00:58:32] So he commits treason in order to advance himself. [00:58:36] And that's what the ambition part is. [00:58:38] That's a description of a vast majority of the politicians in this country. [00:58:42] That's amazing. [00:58:43] Yeah, you see it all over the place. [00:58:46] I just need to ask this before I forget. [00:58:48] So, in the famous scene where Jesus casts out the demons called Legion from the man wandering the tombs on the other side of the lake. [00:58:59] Right. [00:58:59] It's in a couple of Gospels, I think. [00:59:02] And they say, Send us into the herd of pigs, the thousand pigs. [00:59:05] Right. [00:59:06] And the pigs drown themselves. [00:59:07] They immediately commit suicide. [00:59:09] Yes. [00:59:09] Okay. [00:59:10] So, the two questions I have are Is it a feature of this realm that demons possess animals? [00:59:18] Yes, they can possess things. [00:59:19] The technical term for that is infestation, which is different from possession. [00:59:22] Okay. [00:59:23] But infestation is where they basically can get into houses. [00:59:26] I've had to clean up a lot of houses, buildings, that type of thing physical places. [00:59:30] Yeah, because they like things, they like places, they like possessing them. [00:59:34] They can also get into inanimate objects. [00:59:38] I knew a guy that actually, there's what they call fortuna, which is their little figurines, where they're an inversion of the Catholic statue type of thing or Catholic image. [00:59:49] And so, what they do is they put a curse on these particular things, and then from there they can affect people. [00:59:53] And this priest ended up having a case where he had a whole bunch of those. [00:59:56] He put them in a bag, put them in his car. [00:59:58] And as he's driving down the highway, because he didn't have a chance to burn or destroy them yet, as he's driving down the road, he's just, he goes over this bridge and he's just not paying attention. [01:00:07] Next thing you know, he's underneath a tractor trailer. [01:00:10] The car is. [01:00:11] Shreds every single inch of that car except for that where he was sitting. [01:00:17] That's crazy. [01:00:17] Yeah. [01:00:18] Another priest, there was a case where a guy had killed his. [01:00:22] Wife in the backyard. [01:00:25] The priest found that the house was infested. [01:00:28] When he went there, he said, Well, let's take a look to see if we can find any remnants of this deed. [01:00:32] He found this shotgun shell. [01:00:34] He gets the house cleaned up, but he didn't have a chance to get rid of the shotgun shell. [01:00:37] He said, From the time I took possession of that shotgun shell until 48 hours later when I got rid of it, every single thing in my life went wrong. [01:00:48] So, they can actually infest things and then from there they actually influence things. [01:00:52] Have you seen it with living animals? [01:00:54] Yeah. [01:00:55] Well, I haven't seen them actually infest the animals to the point where the animals are doing that, but I have heard of other exorcists having that. [01:01:04] I have seen them actually afflict animals. [01:01:07] There was one case where the land was infested and the people who owned the farm on there lost 50 animals in the course of one year. [01:01:19] Under really odd circumstances. [01:01:20] So, the one day they just came out, stepped out on the porch, and they had these Pyrenees. [01:01:26] One of the Pyrenees was just standing, all of a sudden, the Pyrenees just starts choking to death and kills it, right? [01:01:33] And so, because the demon on the property, it took us a while to get the guy out of there, but we finally got him out. [01:01:38] But then they took it to a vet and they said, There's no obstruction, there's no reason, there's no reason this dog should be dead. [01:01:44] So, they can actually do that. [01:01:46] What do you know about cattle mutilation? [01:01:49] Anything? [01:01:52] Some of the cattle mutilation, the stuff that I've actually studied, it's a little bit unclear to me about what the actual motivation is of some of the people that do it, but some of it is actually a cult activity. [01:02:03] Oh, clearly. [01:02:04] Yeah. [01:02:05] And part of that is it's the. [01:02:07] They're still. [01:02:08] What they're doing is they're inverting the sacrifice. [01:02:13] So in the Old Testament, all the sacrifices of the animals were actually just a lead up or a type or prefigurement to Christ. [01:02:21] And so what they do is they do these rituals. [01:02:23] They're like the inverting. [01:02:24] Version of those things in the Old Testament where they're sacrificing animals and doing specific things in occult activity to empower themselves. [01:02:30] So, a lot of those I've heard, I haven't, you know, it's not something I can verify or vouch for 100%, but I've talked to a lot of police officers in areas like that and they say, yeah, there's a satanic coven over here, there's this, there's witches get involved in this type of stuff too. [01:02:47] And so they'll say that, you know, you'll see those kinds of things where there's a high degree of or a high number of people involved in the occult arts. [01:02:59] What about the connection between demonic possession and suicide? [01:03:01] I just can't help but notice that the second the demons enter the pigs, they kill themselves. [01:03:06] Yeah, they have an animus delendi, right? [01:03:08] They want to destroy everything they get in contact with. [01:03:12] In fact, during one session that I actually had with Beelzebub, which is another name for Satan, because there's appear under Satan is one thing, but having to possess something under the aspect of Beelzebub is another matter. [01:03:24] But at one point, I just said basically the reason you hate everything is because whenever you see creation, you see him. [01:03:31] Isn't it? [01:03:32] Referring to God. [01:03:33] And he says, Yes, that's why I want to destroy everything. [01:03:36] So they have that. [01:03:37] They do drive suicide. [01:03:39] Now, people can commit suicide on their own. [01:03:42] For example, as you probably know, there are certain SSRIs that actually have an 80% suicidal ideation rate. [01:03:49] So people can commit suicide or have that inclination from that, but the demons also will begin picking at the person. [01:03:57] So one of the things that the demons do is they try from the very beginning of our lives. [01:04:04] They'll start tempting us with certain things. [01:04:06] When they see us being born, because the knowledge of these things are infused in their mind, they actually know what our DNA is. [01:04:12] So they know, okay, because of this guy's genetic disposition, he's more likely to be inclined to these kinds of sins and not those. [01:04:18] So they'll start picking at the kid from a very early age, tempting him to do certain things in that area. [01:04:24] Their goal is not just to get him to commit sin and offend God, although that's the primary reason, but it's to slowly build a psychological compatibility because each time you give in to that, you create a set of habits in you and you. [01:04:35] Create these defects that make you much more easily and intertwined with them. [01:04:39] For sure. [01:04:41] And so they're actually building that. [01:04:43] And so what happens is a lot of times when you see with suicide, not all cases, because some cases it's entirely natural, right? [01:04:50] It's a psychological issue that's brought this about. [01:04:53] But we've seen this with people who are possessed a lot of times. [01:04:56] In fact, every person that I've known that's possessed has had very strong and sometimes they say uncontrollable inclinations to suicide. [01:05:05] But they know that it displeases God, so they don't. [01:05:09] How does a person know? [01:05:12] Well, how does a person get possessed by a demon? [01:05:14] And then how does he know he's possessed? [01:05:17] There's three ways. [01:05:18] So the first is you commit some grave sin, like abortion, murder, engaging in the occult arts is one of the principal ways that we see people becoming possessed, selling your soul to the devil, stuff like that. [01:05:33] So you do something really bad and then that opens the door. [01:05:37] In the Catholic sphere, we call it a mortal sin, something that's really grave. [01:05:41] That you commit, and those sins can open you up to diabolic influence. [01:05:44] Now, the way it works though is because Christ has perfect power over the demons, we open the door, but to be able to step across the threshold, Christ has to give them permission. [01:05:55] So, most people who do stuff that's really bad don't become possessed because of the fact that Christ just doesn't allow it because it's not going to be good for the person ultimately, even though they've opened up the door. [01:06:04] So, they've done something really bad. [01:06:06] That's about 50% of our caseload is that. [01:06:08] And do you ask about the person's death? [01:06:15] Because if we know how the demon got in, a lot of times that's going to tell us how you're going to get him out. [01:06:20] And so we very often want to know that specific kind of information. [01:06:25] The other 50% roughly is something really disordered or grave has happened to you. [01:06:32] So, for example, one case that I worked on, the woman was run over by a car, her sister ran her over with a car. [01:06:39] About 50% of our caseload are women who have been raped, molested, psychologically, or physically abused in a grave fashion. [01:06:49] And that disorder is the domain of the diabolic, and so that opens the person up to getting possessed, the woman getting possessed. [01:06:56] And people say, well, that doesn't seem fair. [01:06:58] Well, that's true in one sense. [01:07:00] On the other hand, Christ permits it, and what you find very often is as those, especially the women, you find this, as they climb their way out, they become some of the most holy people you'll ever meet because the amount of virtue they have to obtain to engage in the battle becomes pretty significant. [01:07:19] I mean, we're not encouraged to think that the torment we experience is the cause of demons. [01:07:25] Right. [01:07:25] Right. [01:07:26] So how does a person realize, wait, I think I have some alien being in me? [01:07:31] It gets to causation. [01:07:32] So if your torment is because you've got a bad conscience because of the fact that you've been doing a lot of bad things, well, that's probably not necessarily diabolic. [01:07:39] So there's natural explanations that can be for it. [01:07:42] Sometimes, too, like for example, there's hypothyroidism. [01:07:46] People can become depressed as a result of that. [01:07:48] So there can be natural organic causes for that. [01:07:51] But the other way that you would note is if there's no prior causation, but you're just like, you feel afflicted. [01:07:56] So we'll get people who have been cursed and they said, Yeah, I just set in one day and I was just depressed from that point on, or I was just angry all the time from that point on. [01:08:05] I know someone that happened, a prominent person that happened to me. [01:08:08] Yeah. [01:08:09] And so you have to look at the causation. [01:08:12] Where did this come from? [01:08:14] And as I mentioned, if it's diabolic obsession, it will switch on and switch off. [01:08:19] As an exorcist, we'll pray over people like that and you see a very distinctive. [01:08:23] pattern in this because as you're trying to assess whether this is demonic yes correct because sometimes it's just psychological right so So we just - So you show up, you get the call, I or someone I love I think is possessed, you show up at the house and tell us what you do if you don't mind and how you make that determination. [01:08:40] So usually we'll do kind of an initial intake or interview. [01:08:43] We actually have a vetting process because the Society of Priests that I get, we get about - it ranges from anywhere - right now it ranges anywhere from 400 to 800 requests for help a month. [01:08:54] So I always tell people, I've got pretty good job security. [01:09:00] But usually the way it normally works is what they call the Roman model is. [01:09:03] You'll just sit down and you'll talk to the individual and talk. [01:09:06] What you're trying to do is get a sense of what they're experiencing first, but then also the cause. [01:09:10] What could have been the cause in relationship to this? [01:09:12] Was there a psychological thing that happened to you? [01:09:15] Were you raped when you were a kid, or did your father abuse you, or what happened? [01:09:18] You're looking for specific things in their past. [01:09:20] You could explain it more on a psychological level. [01:09:23] But then at a certain point, there's actually a set of prayers that we'll actually say over the person. [01:09:27] And if it's psychological, you won't see much of a change. [01:09:30] They might feel a little better when you pray over them, but that's just because of the social interaction and someone's actually listening to their problem, right? [01:09:37] Whereas if it's diabolic obsession, all of a sudden, they'll feel this lifting and they feel like they're symptom free. [01:09:44] And they're like, wow, that was fantastic. [01:09:45] I feel great. === Signs of Possession vs Obsession (04:22) === [01:09:47] Now, diabolic obsession is by degree. [01:09:50] And so what can happen is if it's really entrenched, That feel of freedom and lightness will only last for like four or five hours at the most, maybe a day at the most, and then it'll set back in. [01:10:02] And then you'll pray over them again, and then you see this. [01:10:04] You kind of get this dolphin in pattern. [01:10:06] But they have to go, they themselves have to fight their way out. [01:10:08] We put them under a prayer regimen and a spiritual regimen to fight their way out. [01:10:12] And then as you pray over them, it'll slowly lift, and then eventually they're freed. [01:10:17] But you'll see these distinctive patterns. [01:10:19] Whereas if it's psychological, it just will kind of flatline. [01:10:22] And so that's one of the ways that we can actually know. [01:10:25] But the high drama moments that you described at the outset, where the person, when the demon is speaking to you through the person, sometimes in his voice, sometimes in the demon's voice. [01:10:35] Yeah. [01:10:35] How often does that happen? [01:10:37] Well, possession is very rare. [01:10:38] So statistically out of 800 people or so, the contact is maybe four of them. [01:10:44] I should have asked you to define terms. [01:10:47] What's the distinction between influence and possession? [01:10:49] So influence is the broadest category. [01:10:52] It's just a genus of how they – So, they can influence by temptation. [01:10:58] Oppression is where they attack your externals, like your job situation, things like that. [01:11:04] Obsession is where they attack your psychological faculties. [01:11:07] Primarily, and they obsess you. [01:11:08] And then possession is where they actually take possession of a specific part of the body. [01:11:12] And then from there, they'll drive obsession and oppression. [01:11:14] So, all of us from time to time experience the first suite of. [01:11:18] Yes. [01:11:18] All of us are subject to what they call ordinary diabolic temptation. [01:11:22] Yeah, and that's why the Lord's Prayer says, Lead us not in temptation, deliver us from the evil one. [01:11:27] Exactly. [01:11:27] And then the other forms are what we call extraordinary diabolic influence. [01:11:30] They're extraordinary in two reasons. [01:11:31] One, they're above and beyond what most people experience. [01:11:34] But then the other part of it is that they are rare. [01:11:37] They're rarer, I should say. [01:11:38] So, possession, how do you know you're confronting one of those unusual cases? [01:11:45] Well, the. [01:11:47] There are what we call the primary and secondary signs of possession. [01:11:50] The secondary signs are certain psychological patterns, certain patterns we'll see in the person's life of what's happening. [01:11:54] They can give us an indicator, but they don't give us certitude. [01:11:58] What gives us certitude is you'll pray over them and then you'll see a preternatural sign. [01:12:02] This is something that a human being is not capable of doing, like morphing, changing shape, as I mentioned before, or superhuman strength. [01:12:09] There was a case out in California a few years back where this 80 year old woman who had to have a walker to get in just to get into the sessions. [01:12:18] They had four beefy police officers there during this case, and as soon as this demon manifested, he just threw them all over the room. [01:12:26] So, these are types of things, or another case that a friend of mine had as it was a 10 year old boy that had two police officers there that were 250 pounds each. [01:12:34] He lifted them both off the ground at the same time with ease. [01:12:37] So, these are superhuman strength. [01:12:39] Yeah, whoa. [01:12:40] So, you'll see those particular kinds of things. [01:12:42] So, another. [01:12:44] Did you get unknown languages, foreign languages ever? [01:12:46] Yeah, so that's one of the other ones. [01:12:48] So, speaking in languages they've never studied. [01:12:51] Now, there. [01:12:53] This is, and so a lot of times, you know, psychologists for a while were saying that, oh, well, maybe the person's heard the language. [01:13:00] Well, I don't know of anybody who can hear a language once and be absolutely fluent in it, right? [01:13:04] And so, two, there's languages like the first case of possession ever dealt with. [01:13:08] This guy was speaking a form of Phoenician that had been defunct for 3,500 years. [01:13:14] So he's never had Phoenician? [01:13:16] Yeah. [01:13:17] So this is, so, and fluently, by the way. [01:13:20] So we're not talking about, so this is not a psychological issue. [01:13:25] There's other things too. [01:13:28] So there's speaking in foreign languages. [01:13:31] In fact, it's kind of funny. [01:13:32] I had this one case where the demon, Christ restricts what languages they can speak with you. [01:13:38] Even though they know all the languages, he restricts them. [01:13:41] In this particular case, he was restricted speaking in Latin. [01:13:44] I had to converse with him in Latin. [01:13:46] Now, my Latin is decent, but once in a while, when you're supposed to use the accusative, I use the dative grammatically. [01:13:55] When I would do that, I didn't do it right, he would just ignore me like he just didn't have to put up with it. [01:13:59] This, right? [01:14:00] And so then I would correct my language. [01:14:02] And who was the person he was occupying? [01:14:04] It was actually a woman that was actually possessed. [01:14:08] But not a Latin scholar? === Knowing Your Sinful History (15:37) === [01:14:09] No, not. [01:14:10] She didn't even know Latin. [01:14:12] So at the end of it, I commanded the demon to consider the fact that he'd actually improved my grammar. [01:14:18] He wasn't happy with that one. [01:14:20] So you mock them? [01:14:22] It's not mocking them. [01:14:23] I just inform them in stuff that makes it painful for them. [01:14:27] Because you don't want to mock them because that's degrading. [01:14:30] And we don't want to degrade. [01:14:32] We don't want to be involved in the degrading process. [01:14:34] It's the same reason why you don't call them names. [01:14:39] Even in the ritual, there's a listing of names of theirs, but you're not going to call them like, hey, stupid, do this, because they're not stupid. [01:14:47] Part of that is because they'll be happy if you do that because of the fact that that means your speech isn't perfectly modest. [01:14:57] That's totally right. [01:14:59] They get power out of it. [01:15:02] I've seen this in the human realm. [01:15:03] They're inviting you. [01:15:05] Certain people are clearly under the influence of these things, invite you to lower yourself. [01:15:11] Yes. [01:15:11] And invite you to mock and swear and degrade. [01:15:16] And the second you do that, they become swollen with power. [01:15:19] I don't know if it's your experience, but in my experience with demons, they're willing to take a beating to get that out of you. [01:15:25] They'll take the mockery. [01:15:26] They'll take those that you're treating them badly if it means they're getting power over you. [01:15:32] Yeah, I think they're trying to incite you to become more like them. [01:15:35] That's exactly it. [01:15:36] That's exactly it. [01:15:37] Boy, I've seen that a lot. [01:15:39] And I don't know anything about what you're saying. [01:15:42] The parallels to the experience that anyone engaged in our political discourse has to what you're saying are crazy. [01:15:49] But in talking about that psychological compatibility, we have just a lot of people today that are psychologically compatible with a lot of demons. [01:15:56] And that's why we're seeing that behavior. [01:15:59] These people are just psychologically compatible with them. [01:16:01] And what can you just restate what the qualities are that you see in people that are compatible with demons? [01:16:09] Just like to remember to avoid these things. [01:16:11] What are they? [01:16:12] Well, it's basically people that and this is actually some of the secondary signs of possession. [01:16:16] It's people who have a tendency towards mendacity, lying all the time, duplicitous. [01:16:23] I've made this comment even publicly about certain politicians. [01:16:26] You can tell that these people are in cahoots with the devil because of the fact that every single thing they do maximizes damage within their capacity to do so. [01:16:36] You know, you get around people that are like you. [01:16:38] Oh, yes. [01:16:39] Yeah. [01:16:39] Oh, I know them. [01:16:40] Even though they might have a veneer of respectability, they're in a position of authority and they kind of conduct themselves a certain way, everything they do. [01:16:48] And they don't show any, like a normal, I lie. [01:16:51] I have lied. [01:16:51] I hate lying, but I have done it. [01:16:54] But when I do it, or I think most people, when they lie, you know, you kind of twitch a little bit. [01:16:58] You don't want to lie. [01:16:59] Yeah. [01:16:59] It's the people who register no concern at all about lying. [01:17:04] That is a sign. [01:17:05] Yes. [01:17:05] Do you think? [01:17:06] Yeah, absolutely. [01:17:07] Yeah, and that's that psychological compatibility. [01:17:10] Or people that are willing to just sacrifice other people for the sake of them getting even some of the most modest of gains, you know, where they're just there. [01:17:17] And so the demons will just, I mean, they'll be happy to kill a bunch of, you know, unborn children in order to empower themselves in relationship to, you know, say one particular politician or another. [01:17:27] They're more than happy to do so. [01:17:31] Wow. [01:17:32] The other third sign of preternatural signs so one is things that are beyond human capacity, which I mentioned, speaking foreign languages, but the other one is occult knowledge. [01:17:43] And that's in two forms. [01:17:46] So they'll I mentioned it earlier, we mentioned it a little bit earlier about this woman who was making theological distinctions. [01:17:54] You know, the demon was making theological distinctions. [01:17:57] This is a form of knowledge that this woman didn't have. [01:17:59] But the other form of occult knowledge is they can know what's going on in the other room because, as I mentioned, it's all being in. [01:18:03] Infused in them as it happens, as it occurs, because that's how they're designed to know things. [01:18:08] That's how God made them to know things. [01:18:09] He just infuses them as it happens. [01:18:11] So they'll actually know, like what you ate for breakfast this morning, or they'll know things about your past history. [01:18:17] One of the things that you'll see from time to time is that they actually know your sinful history. [01:18:21] And so if you go into a session, and because we see this from time to time, if one of our assistants has, you know, that there's some sin that they haven't confessed, you know, then what happens is the demon knows that. [01:18:38] Because, as far as the demon is concerned, if you don't confess your sins, then basically their attitude is, well, then I still have power over you because you're still under me. [01:18:47] It's once you confess your sins. [01:18:48] That's true. [01:18:48] Yeah, then it's absolved, and then boom. [01:18:50] And so, as a result of that, they know that. [01:18:52] And so, you'll start the session, and all the demons will point out, hey, this guy over here, he did X, Y, Z this morning. [01:18:57] And this person didn't even see that guy until the session started. [01:19:01] So, they'll have occult knowledge in those particular kinds of things. [01:19:04] And so, those are kind of the indicators that, like, okay, I'm not dealing with somebody who's. [01:19:09] That this isn't a psychological issue, this isn't natural. [01:19:12] Now, one of the things that people often ask is well, what about levitation? [01:19:16] Is that a preternatural sign? [01:19:17] Yes and no. [01:19:20] Because there has been cases of like there was a saint in the Catholic Church who would actually levitate when he'd said Mass, right? [01:19:32] And so, and he was a very saintly man. [01:19:35] They even did exorcisms over things, made the guy's possessed and nothing, you know. [01:19:38] So, well, the Pharisees accused Jesus of being possessed. [01:19:42] Yes, that's right. [01:19:43] That's right. [01:19:46] But then you can also have levitation occur in an infested building, which is not too common. [01:19:51] So people will be in bed and all of a sudden, they feel themselves getting dragged out or pulled up or lifted up off their bed and that type of thing. [01:19:58] People have seen that. [01:19:59] That's very rare. [01:20:01] But as exorcists, we hear about that from time to time. [01:20:04] So that doesn't necessarily mean the person's possessed. [01:20:07] Plus, all the people that are possessed, not everybody levitates when they're possessed. [01:20:11] Some do, some don't. [01:20:13] So levitation is just not that common, but you see it from time to time. [01:20:17] It's not a necessary sign that the person's possessed, but if you see a bunch of secondary signs around the person and you're dealing with them, and then you start praying over them, and then the demon morph changes shape and levitates, well, then, okay, that's something that's preternatural. [01:20:37] There's a scene in the Gospels in Mark where a man brings his demon possessed boy who's hurting himself, throwing himself into fires, having seizures, and the apostles are unable to exercise the demon. [01:20:51] And Jesus walks up and kind of scolds them and then does so. [01:20:55] And they say, Why were we able to do it? [01:20:56] And we weren't. [01:20:57] And he says, Because this kind of demon can only be exercised through prayer and fasting. [01:21:02] What does that mean? [01:21:04] Well, it means that how you get a demon out of somebody varies. [01:21:09] So, Christ said, By my name you'll cast out demons. [01:21:12] What he did not say is, By my name you'll cast out all demons. [01:21:15] And the way we know that is precisely this scene in the Gospels where they were using his name, but it wasn't having the effect. [01:21:22] And so they actually have to do prayer and fasting. [01:21:24] And basically, what that means is the prayer is to petition God enough, intercessory prayer, praying to him, asking him to do enough prayer so that the person will actually be liberated. [01:21:36] This is one of the reasons why we actually have people praying, like the assistance during the sessions. [01:21:42] And outside of sessions, we have people that will spend hours praying for the person's liberation so that we get that done. [01:21:49] The other part is through fasting. [01:21:50] Now, the fasting goes back to St. Paul, where St. Paul says, bring your body under subjection, right? [01:21:56] So you have to fast in order to get your lower faculties under control to some degree. [01:22:02] And by doing that, it's a meritorious work which God will actually offer, and you can offer that so that this person will actually become liberated in the process. [01:22:12] The other reason is an exorcist, so I fast six days a week when I'm in session. [01:22:16] And the reason for that What does that mean? [01:22:19] It means having one moderate meal in the evening. [01:22:22] That's it, each day. [01:22:24] So I have nothing for breakfast, nothing for lunch, and then I have a moderate meal at night. [01:22:28] And I do that for six days. [01:22:29] And part of that is just to because when we become, when we get our body under subjection, two things occur. [01:22:41] One, demons don't want to get involved with you. [01:22:44] Because if they attack you and try and suggest something to you that's contrary to that subjection, you're going to reject it outright. [01:22:49] So they're going to get defeated very easily. [01:22:52] And by that, you're also developing virtue. [01:22:54] So you're empowered to be able to kick them out much more easily. [01:22:56] When we're weak, they can take advantage of us. [01:22:59] But the other part about it is that, and you've probably noticed this even with yourself, is you start to grow in virtue and you start saying, I've got to get this part of my life straightened out. [01:23:07] You become much more sensitive in that area that you've cleaned up. [01:23:11] So, for example, people who stop using profanity all of a sudden in vulgarities. [01:23:16] All of a sudden, when they hear it, it jars them. [01:23:18] Well, it's the same thing in relationship to demons. [01:23:20] So, as you fast, if the demons attack you, you're much more sensitive to it. [01:23:26] And so, that disorder, because you've got it under your body, is now rightly ordered. [01:23:30] And so, as a result, you quickly detect them. [01:23:33] And then, so they don't want to attack you. [01:23:36] So, in addition to they don't want to attack you, but also you have a certain amount of protection, but also you can offer that fasting up so that this person is actually liberated. [01:23:44] The people that are possessed sometimes will also need to fast, given the nature of the demon that they're dealing with. [01:23:50] They need to fast in order to break the possession. [01:23:54] You said you've, I think you said you've cast out Satan himself twice. [01:24:01] No. [01:24:02] Satan once. [01:24:03] So Satan, Lucifer, and Beelzebub were the same guy. [01:24:06] Yep. [01:24:06] And so, which Christ himself even said it, right? [01:24:10] Because the Jews accuse him of casting out Satan by the power of Beelzebub, right? [01:24:16] And he says, How can a house divide it? [01:24:17] Yeah, he's casting out Satan. [01:24:19] So he says, Yeah, how can Satan cast out Satan? [01:24:21] So he turns it and says, No, sorry, excuse me. [01:24:24] They're casting out by the power of Beelzebub, right? [01:24:27] And he says, Well, how can Satan cast out Satan? [01:24:29] So the fathers, the patristic commentators on that scripture said that that's an indicator that Satan and Beelzebub were the same guy. [01:24:36] And then Lucifer was his original assigned name because Lucifer comes from Luciferi, which means to bear light. [01:24:43] He was supposed to enlighten our minds, and that was his originally assigned task, and he refused to do so. [01:24:48] But then after that, so I actually had a case which, at a certain point during one of the sessions, demons will be compelled to say things that you're not even asking them. [01:24:59] God tells them, hey, you've got to tell this guy X, Y, and Z. [01:25:02] And that's to keep the case moving along. [01:25:04] And out of the blue, the demon just. [01:25:08] Blurts out, it was Beelzebub blats out, I'm the mockery of the Holy Spirit. [01:25:12] And then he checks out. [01:25:13] I can't get him back to the surface. [01:25:15] He just wouldn't, regardless of what prayers I did. [01:25:17] So I'm thinking to myself, well, I know Beelzebub and Satan are the same guy. [01:25:22] So I started asking, you know, started praying, getting some, you know, give me the grace to see what am I seeing here, right? [01:25:29] And we also know that Lucifer, he was originally Lucifer. [01:25:32] And then it dawns on me. [01:25:34] So as an exorcist, we deal with cases of dissociative identity disorder, which is multiple personality. [01:25:40] It looks like possession, but it's actually not possession. [01:25:42] Okay. [01:25:43] And so it dawned on me, this guy's, it was a trifurcated personality. [01:25:49] So during the next session, I referred to Beelzebub as the third personality of Satan, and he just lit up. [01:25:57] Like, how did you ever figure that out? [01:25:59] Right. [01:25:59] Well, it was a grace, obviously. [01:26:02] So then I basically beat out of him. [01:26:04] So Beelzebub is the inversion of the Holy Spirit, Lucifer is the inversion of the second person of the Trinity because Christ is light from light. [01:26:13] Which we read in St. John's Gospel. [01:26:15] Then Satan is the father of lies, who's the inversion of God the Father. [01:26:20] You basically have this unholy trinity. [01:26:23] Then I commanded him to tell me, Was this trifurcation of your personality the punishment for wanting to be God? [01:26:32] After a little bit of beating, he said, Yes. [01:26:34] Then he basically admitted he suffers the same thing that people who suffer from dissociative identity disorder suffer the same problem. [01:26:42] He's in constant pain as a result of this. [01:26:44] Trifurcation. [01:26:45] And this actually, so I thought to myself, well, you know, somebody had had to have talked about this historically. [01:26:49] I can't be the first guy to kind of stumble across this. [01:26:52] Well, lo and behold, there was a case in France in the 1600s where this exact same thing played itself out and they talked about this. [01:27:01] And then the fathers talk about it in bits and pieces. [01:27:04] So that's actually known that his personality, he was punished with this trifurcation, his personality. [01:27:09] And that would explain why exorcists would experience Beelzebub, Lucifer, and Satan in very different ways. [01:27:16] What about this guy invited Satan rather than one of the lesser demons? [01:27:22] Well, this, it wasn't actually a guy. [01:27:24] It was actually a woman who became possessed by Satan because she was the victim of satanic ritual abuse. [01:27:29] Yeah. [01:27:30] And so, literally right off the bat in her life. [01:27:36] How common is that? [01:27:39] When I first started doing exorcism work, most of the cases that we would see of that were from satanic ritual abuse in the 80s, which is when it really picked up steam. [01:27:49] And then it kind of went on a bit, it kind of plateaued out a little bit. [01:27:52] But now we're starting to see a lot of the cases from stuff that's been happening in the last 15 to 20 years. [01:27:58] So, the probably if you're talking about cases of possession or the cases that well, let's just talk about the cases that come to us that have satanic ritual abuse, it's not that many, but it's enough that it takes up a significant amount of our time to clean these people up as a result of it. [01:28:19] happened to that woman she was liberated finally and how did her life turn out do you think um she's she's i think she's i think she's a very holy woman i think she's a very good woman and um uh the uh she still has to deal with some diabolical oppression but i think that she's she and her husband have really come up to speed in their spiritual lives so they're doing I think they're doing better than I think they think they're doing, but I think she's doing fine. [01:28:49] How long does it typically take to save a person from possession? [01:28:54] It depends on the degree of the possession because possession is by degree. [01:28:59] That is how deep the possession actually is. [01:29:02] If you have something like satanic ritual abuse, it's going to take a while, generally speaking. [01:29:08] Whereas sometimes I've actually had cases of possession where things have happened bad, like this one woman had, she was molested when she was younger, but she was never complicit. [01:29:17] She didn't want it, and she always tried to lead a good Christian life, et cetera. [01:29:20] So three sessions, boom, she was cleaned up. [01:29:25] There's cases of children that are possessed, those go much more rapidly. [01:29:30] There's usually just a few sessions. [01:29:31] But if you're talking about an adult, Usually, the average case, and this is something which even the exorcists in Rome have made this observation as well, the average timetable is four to eight years. [01:29:44] Years? [01:29:45] Years. === Purifying the Undisciplined Soul (10:45) === [01:29:47] Can you exercise a demon from a person against that person's will? [01:29:50] No. [01:29:54] Because if the person actually wants the demon to be there, God respects their free will and that empowers the demon to remain. [01:30:02] So you can't get anywhere. [01:30:05] What are those persons' lives like? [01:30:09] They're miserable. [01:30:10] Yeah, they're living in hell. [01:30:11] Yeah, there was one. [01:30:12] I actually had one case where the exorcist that trained me said, Hey, there's this one woman. [01:30:19] I can't get to her. [01:30:20] Would you take a look at her? [01:30:20] And I said, Yeah, I'll take a look at her. [01:30:22] So I went in, and normally speaking, I would say a series of purse to keep myself protected when I went in and then clean, you know, and protected on the way out. [01:30:31] But I totally forgot to do this. [01:30:33] And so I went in, I started talking to her, and she was possessed all right. [01:30:36] She was showing signs of. [01:30:37] Preternatural knowledge. [01:30:38] I mean, there was the types of knowledge she had. [01:30:40] It was like, wow, that's pretty. [01:30:42] But she liked it. [01:30:44] She didn't want it. [01:30:44] So I told her, well, look, I can't really help you in relationship to this. [01:30:49] And so, you know, if you want to be, if you want to cut bait with these guys, I'm willing to help you. [01:30:53] But until then, I can't help you. [01:30:55] So I left, came down with the worst case of gout I've ever had gout. [01:31:00] Gout. [01:31:01] I just like. [01:31:01] You got a medieval illness. [01:31:02] Perfect. [01:31:03] Yeah, exactly. [01:31:04] So, and everything I did, I even took those tablets that are supposed to help you clean out the urea gas. [01:31:10] Nothing. [01:31:10] Didn't touch it. [01:31:11] It's the most. [01:31:12] Painful. [01:31:12] Oh, it was just. [01:31:13] I've had it. [01:31:13] It's shocking. [01:31:14] Yeah. [01:31:15] So it dawned on me a week later. [01:31:18] You'd think I would have clued in being an exorcist. [01:31:20] I wonder if that woman cursed me. [01:31:22] So I said a prayer to break the curse, and within an hour, it would all clear it up. [01:31:28] Really? [01:31:28] So I called the priest that had sent her to me, and usually he'll pick up the phone. [01:31:34] Well, he didn't pick up the phone. [01:31:35] Two weeks later, he calls me and says, Hey, you know, I would have called you, but I got the worst case of gout I've ever had. [01:31:42] And I said, Dude, you've been cursed. [01:31:44] And I said, Let me guess. [01:31:45] Right toe, big foot. [01:31:47] Or a big toe in the right foot? [01:31:48] Yeah, yeah, how'd you know? [01:31:49] I said, well, you've been cursed. [01:31:50] So he said the prayers, boom, it lifts up. [01:31:53] A year later, another priest says, well, I think she's had a change of heart. [01:31:59] I said, okay, well, this time I went in and I said some prayers, kept my ass, St. Michael, to protect me. [01:32:03] Did she apologize for cursing you? [01:32:05] No. [01:32:06] So what happens is I said some prayers to keep myself protected, but I also said a prayer which another exorcist taught me, which is extraordinarily effective, which is Jesus, if If she tries to curse me, I ask you, or if I've been cursed, I ask you to send the curse back from whence it came. [01:32:25] But if that's not your holy will, in either case, keep me protected. [01:32:28] Now, there's a reason for that is because if the person this is why high level witches will not get involved in cursing people as a general rule because they know they can become subject to the very curse that they put on people. [01:32:43] So I went in, talked to her. [01:32:45] Oh no, she still liked the occult knowledge. [01:32:47] She really liked knowing what her husband was up to, that kind of thing, even though he was not even around her. [01:32:53] So I just gave her the same story. [01:32:55] So she was getting knowledge that a normal person wouldn't have. [01:32:59] That's right. [01:32:59] She knew what her demons would tell her this is what your husband's doing, et cetera. [01:33:03] And it was accurate, right? [01:33:04] And that's how you know it's true, it's actually accurate. [01:33:08] Well, so I left, and then about a week later, I called the priest that had said, I think she's had a change of heart. [01:33:13] I said, Well, how's she doing? [01:33:14] She said, Right after you left, she ended up in the hospital, and she's still there. [01:33:19] Yeah. [01:33:20] So the cursing is one of those things that people can become subject to it. [01:33:29] The main thing they have to do is make sure that they're leading an authentic Christian life and not doing anything sinful that would open the door for the demons so they become subject to the curse. [01:33:37] Have you ever seen a phenomenon where someone is acted on by God, clearly inspired by the Holy Spirit, has a closer connection to God than normal, and then shortly after is attacked hard by demons? [01:33:50] Yes. [01:33:51] Yes. [01:33:52] That's a common reaction? [01:33:54] Yes. [01:33:56] Okay, so the way demons tend to function is they tend to like to go after easy prey. [01:34:02] But because, and this is something that I learned about them, because Christ has perfect coercive power over them, which we saw in the casting out of the legion, right? [01:34:12] And they can't do anything without his permission. [01:34:14] But that also means that they are subject to him. [01:34:18] And that means that they are his instruments. [01:34:23] The demons as an instrument of our sanctification and purification. [01:34:27] So we overcome particular difficulties. [01:34:29] And so a lot of times God will allow the person who's leading a really good Christian life to come under attack in order to draw them even closer to Him than they actually are, or to purify them, or to make them more holy, or help them to overcome a particular defect because the demons are using that against them. [01:34:47] And so from time to time you'll actually see that. [01:34:50] And so the demons are, He uses them and He tells them, we call it conscription, hey, you've got to go deal with this. [01:34:56] And they'll admit it. [01:34:57] I didn't want to be here, but here I am. [01:35:00] Really? [01:35:01] Yeah. [01:35:03] Huh. [01:35:05] So the experience is designed to instruct the person who's being afflicted by it. [01:35:12] That's right. [01:35:12] To instruct them, to gain knowledge about, okay, this is how this works, but also to basically help them to grow even greater in virtue. [01:35:23] I mean, if the demons are kind of like tempting you towards, let's just say, lust, they're tempting you towards lust, and you combat that. [01:35:29] The degree of your virtue when you come out of it is going to be stronger than if it's just natural human temperament. [01:35:33] That's correct. [01:35:34] Yeah. [01:35:34] And so that's a lot of times why God will allow it so that the person becomes even holier, even more virtuous than they would outside that context. [01:35:41] The demons absolutely hate it, especially when you see in these cases of possession, like as I mentioned, some of these women would become extremely holy. [01:35:48] And I'll just mention to the demon, you know, you're becoming this person's instrument of sanctification. [01:35:53] They'll admit it's true and they hate it. [01:35:58] What are steps that people can take to avoid being influenced by demons or possessed by them? [01:36:03] Well, the main thing to do is stop sinning, right? [01:36:06] Especially the more serious stuff. [01:36:09] like, you know, stop fornicating, stop doing all this stuff, looking at pornography, because pornography is where we're seeing the real uptick in obsession and stuff. [01:36:15] Really? [01:36:16] You see this? [01:36:17] Yeah. [01:36:18] So the number of people becoming diabolically obsessed through pornography and even possessed, we've seen a drastic uptick in that. [01:36:29] When I was first a priest, people come to confession to a priest. [01:36:31] When I was first a priest, the guys that would confess pornography, you didn't hear that too often because you had to go buy it and there was a shame involved. [01:36:41] Now that it became ubiquitous on the internet, you can do it in the privacy of your home. [01:36:44] The number of men that are confessing is pretty high up there. [01:36:50] What we're seeing is that but also the fact that a lot of the pornography is cursed to increase its addictive effect. [01:36:58] That was one of the things that the Satanists taught the people in the porn industry. [01:37:01] Curse the master copy, and then from that, the copies that are made will influence the people. [01:37:06] And so they do that, and then people become. [01:37:09] So you believe the porn industry is controlled by Satanists? [01:37:13] I don't know if it's controlled by it. [01:37:15] My impression is these are just bad dudes for the most part. [01:37:19] I think that they're influenced by them. [01:37:22] It doesn't mean that there aren't Satanists that are involved in the porn industry. [01:37:25] I suspect there probably are. [01:37:26] But I just think that it's. [01:37:28] They're the ones who taught them this is what you do, and this will boost the addictive effect of it. [01:37:33] And so there's. [01:37:35] One exorcist, it wasn't me, but there was another exorcist that I know of who's a good friend of mine. [01:37:40] He had a case where the guy became possessed. [01:37:42] And finally, there's a certain stage where the demon gets weak enough you can compel him. [01:37:47] How did you get in? [01:37:48] And he said, Pornography. [01:37:50] I believe that. [01:37:51] And so then after the session, he asked the guy, What's the, you know, what happened? [01:37:57] And he said, Yeah, it was pornography. [01:37:59] He said, I would believe it's pornography. [01:38:01] He said, I watched this one pornography that had this one woman on it. [01:38:05] After that, something snapped or changed. [01:38:08] And from that point on, I had to see every piece of pornography she ever made. [01:38:12] I was just driven obsessively to find her. [01:38:16] So, this is the so that's one of the ways that they get in. [01:38:19] So, to answer your question, there's a few things. [01:38:22] One is prayer and fasting. [01:38:23] You pray, you should be praying regularly anyway as a Christian. [01:38:26] You should be praying. [01:38:27] And if you're praying regularly, you can pray for your own protection. [01:38:30] That's actually one of the reasons I gave you the book, Deliverance Prayers for the Laity, which is right there. [01:38:34] But that book actually contains a number of prayers that are drafted. [01:38:37] You don't have to use those, you can use your own. [01:38:39] But this gives you kind of an outline or a structure that says, okay, this is how this works. [01:38:44] So, consistent prayer life, a disciplined prayer life. [01:38:47] You have to be very disciplined. [01:38:49] Second part of it is fasting, which is also true. [01:38:53] Stop the sinning. [01:38:54] The one thing that we have found this is something that one of my lay assistants, this was about three years ago, we started noticing a very pattern because this is what we watch for patterns because demons act in a very consistent way. [01:39:08] And what we started noticing is the people that the demons attack, whether that's attacking their externals through oppression or through obsession, and even in temptation in some cases, are people that there's some area of their interior life that is undisciplined. [01:39:23] You know, they eat too much. [01:39:25] Or they're not, you know, when it comes to chocolate, they're a little too indulgent, you know, instead of just trying to moderate those things. [01:39:31] Not that those things are bad, it's quite the contrary. [01:39:33] They're good, but they have to be moderated. [01:39:35] Or the person just doesn't moderate, like, their irritation or anger in certain circumstances, things like that. [01:39:40] So there's some area of their life that's undisciplined. [01:39:43] Sometimes it's just they're not praying. [01:39:46] You know, you should be praying on a consistent basis every single day. [01:39:49] I mean, if you really love God, if you really love Him, you're going to want to be with Him. [01:39:54] Occurs through prayer. [01:39:55] A lot of people just don't do that. [01:39:57] Also, if you understand the world well enough to be terrified by it, which you should be, then you will seek safety in prayer. [01:40:05] I think that's exactly it. [01:40:06] Yeah. [01:40:06] And also, the prayer, because you're lifting your mind and heart to God, which is one of the definitions of prayer, is lifting your mind and heart to God. [01:40:12] It gets that right order in your own mind. [01:40:14] And so it gives you clarity so that when you see the insanity in the world, you can still navigate it and it doesn't affect you as much. [01:40:21] But it's that undisciplined somewhere in their spiritual life that is. [01:40:25] If people are getting attacked, you have to start figuring out okay, where are you undisciplined? [01:40:29] This is what you need to do. [01:40:30] Get that cleaned up, and it'll stop. === Addictions as Spiritual Compulsion (08:29) === [01:40:33] Man, that is. [01:40:37] I think whether you believe in God or not, you can see that that's true. [01:40:40] Yeah. [01:40:43] Are you hopeful for the country since you seem to pay attention to the whole country, not just. [01:40:52] Yes and no. [01:40:55] By hopeful, you mean in the sense that human beings are going to correct this, right this ship. [01:41:02] I think it's beyond human correction. [01:41:04] At this stage, it's so bad, especially when you look at the corruption in the higher levels of government and that type of thing. [01:41:12] But I am also hopeful that Christ, you know, if you look at the history of how God deals with human beings, He'll let us be evil only for so long and then He gives us a spanking. [01:41:21] So I think that He's that Christ is going to correct it probably fairly soon. [01:41:27] I mean, who knows when that is, but I think we're getting to the point where we're, you know, especially in a post Christian era, we're almost as bad as Sodom and Gomorrah. [01:41:34] I mean, I tell people, look at Sodom and Gomorrah, at least they weren't trying to marry each other, you know. [01:41:38] No, it's true. [01:41:39] Yeah. [01:41:39] And so I think that we've gotten to the point where God is going to punish us, but in a way that a good father corrects his son when he's doing bad things, right? [01:41:51] Do you think that the first thing that jumps to mind is through war and nuclear weapons? [01:41:57] And I wonder about the role of technology in all of this. [01:42:00] So you said when you started, the people with porn problems bought the porn, and that's a small number. [01:42:06] But thanks to technology, it's embedded universal porn use. [01:42:10] Yes. [01:42:10] Yeah. [01:42:11] You look at something like AI or nuclear weapons specifically, hard not to think that that was demonically inspired. [01:42:21] Well, obviously, these are natural things which we could discover on our own, whether the demons actually inspired people to start pursuing this. [01:42:28] I think the real problem is the use of them. [01:42:32] Right. [01:42:33] That's where the real problem is. [01:42:34] So, AI, I mean, I use AI to do research. [01:42:36] Yep. [01:42:37] And although you have to be careful, you have to even vet that. [01:42:41] Because a lot of it's based on the language model, of course, is based on what's out there generally. [01:42:44] Of course. [01:42:44] A lot of times there's garbage. [01:42:45] But a lot of times it puts you in the ballpark so you can quickly find stuff, which is very helpful. [01:42:49] So it's a very powerful and useful tool. [01:42:51] It's a good thing, but we've already seen people using it for evil. [01:42:56] And this is one of the reasons why I think that as time goes on, it's going to be even become more and more evil. [01:43:04] The types of evil we're going to see coming from these things are going to be pretty significant, I think. [01:43:08] Well, I mean, Sam Altman's already announced that OpenAI will allow anyone to create their own porn. [01:43:14] Yeah. [01:43:14] That's it. [01:43:15] Yeah. [01:43:16] So, but the cycle that you're describing is society falls into decadence and evil. [01:43:21] Yeah. [01:43:22] And then it's corrected through punishment. [01:43:24] That's right. [01:43:25] And you think we're getting pretty close to the punishment stage of the cycle? [01:43:28] If God is consistent, which he tends to be. [01:43:30] Yeah. [01:43:31] And that's not a terrible thing. [01:43:34] No, it's going to be painful. [01:43:35] It's like the kid, you know, when he gets spanked, it's painful. [01:43:38] But then he realizes, okay, this is not good. [01:43:41] I'm not going to do this anymore. [01:43:43] And so, God wants us to be able to see the effect of the evil. [01:43:47] There's a certain sense that that's already. [01:43:49] Happening, right? [01:43:51] In the sense that the more evil we become, the more difficult and afflicted living in this culture is becoming. [01:43:58] Yes. [01:43:59] So we're already paying the price for our sin to some degree, but we're still on a course where we're not correcting ourselves. [01:44:06] I think some people are. [01:44:07] Some people are like, this is just evil. [01:44:09] I got to get my act together, right? [01:44:11] But that's not the whole of the culture. [01:44:14] But at a certain point, God's, I think, going to have to correct it himself. [01:44:18] I think that all the time. [01:44:19] You know, for every aborted child, there's You know, another homeless fentanyl addict or something. [01:44:24] I mean, it's all seems like. [01:44:26] So, last question, which is about drugs and alcohol and the role that demonic influence plays in addiction. [01:44:33] So, addiction is actually threefold. [01:44:35] The first is there's actually a brain mechanism that causes the addiction. [01:44:37] Yeah. [01:44:38] And then there's the set of habits that revolve around that. [01:44:41] And those are also kind of a natural thing that people can actually develop. [01:44:45] But then there can be layered on top of that. [01:44:47] The demons can actually drive the addiction. [01:44:49] So, they can, through ordinary temptation, you know, just say, hey, there's the alcohol again. [01:44:53] Let's go drink. [01:44:54] Let's go do this. [01:44:55] Remember all this fun that you actually had when you did this. [01:44:58] And so they can actually drive that. [01:44:59] The demons also have the ability to block a remembrance of things, to remember things. [01:45:04] And so Part of the virtue of prudence is the virtue of memory, remembering the right things at the right time. [01:45:10] Yeah. [01:45:11] So, you know, like, you know, last time I drank, I paid the price the next day. [01:45:15] Well, they can make you focus on the good thing you got out of this and forget all the pain you went through, right? [01:45:20] So they can do that. [01:45:22] The other thing is, too, is that demons can also, because they can act upon us physically, that is, in our brain and that type of thing, they can actually cause a mimicking of addictive experiences. [01:45:34] So there was a woman that I actually knew that she would come to me and She didn't have the history or the habit building of an alcoholic, but she had the tendencies for it. [01:45:47] And she would, from time to time, she would struggle in that area. [01:45:52] So, what I did is I started praying over her for any demon of obsession in relationship to addiction. [01:45:57] And she said, every time I would pray over her, she would go about a week without any addictive feelings whatsoever. [01:46:04] Now, I'm not suggesting that everything that's addictive is diabolic. [01:46:08] It's quite the contrary. [01:46:09] Usually, people get involved in the addictions and then the demons get involved in that. [01:46:12] Yes. [01:46:13] But they can also drive those things in relationship to certain people. [01:46:18] We also see this in relationship to people who are possessed. [01:46:22] It's very common that sugar is a big addiction that demons drive in people who are possessed. [01:46:28] Really? [01:46:28] Yeah, where they just can't stay away from the sugar. [01:46:32] I had one case. [01:46:33] This was kind of interesting. [01:46:34] I had gotten to the point this woman that was undergoing exorcism for possession was a very virtuous woman. [01:46:40] I'm like, why am I not getting this guy out? [01:46:44] Right. [01:46:45] And so at a certain point during one of the sessions, I commanded to tell him. [01:46:48] And she was possessed. [01:46:49] Yeah, she was possessed. [01:46:49] I said, I said, at a certain point, I said to the demon, I commanded the demon to tell me, what is it you have on her? [01:46:56] Right. [01:46:57] And he just looked at me and he said, Pop. [01:47:01] Meaning soda. [01:47:02] Yeah. [01:47:02] So he checked out. [01:47:05] I asked her, I said, Do you have a problem with soda? [01:47:07] And she said, I cannot go a day without rewarding myself with it. [01:47:11] She says, I just can't do it. [01:47:14] And then once the possessions broke, boom, they don't even have the inclination towards it. [01:47:19] So they can drive those kinds of things. [01:47:21] Now, again, I'm not suggesting that everybody who has these addictions, because these things are just addictive by nature, and people develop their own. [01:47:27] But in possession cases. [01:47:29] Sugar addiction. [01:47:29] Wow. [01:47:30] Sugar addiction. [01:47:31] I'm not surprised even a little bit. [01:47:34] I'm just surprised you said that out loud. [01:47:35] That's like, because it's so clearly true. [01:47:38] Yeah. [01:47:38] Why do you think it's true? [01:47:40] Because I've just seen it and felt it, and I just know that there's some kind of connection because it causes compulsion. [01:47:46] Yes. [01:47:47] Exactly. [01:47:47] And compulsion is always a sign to me as a total layman, but like compulsion? [01:47:52] Really? [01:47:52] What's that? [01:47:53] The compulsion to harm yourself? [01:47:55] There's no evolutionary theory that can account for that. [01:47:59] Right. [01:47:59] Right. [01:47:59] Yeah, exactly. [01:48:00] Yeah. [01:48:01] Yeah. [01:48:01] And a lot of times they'll look just to see what our dispositions, like I said before, are dispositions are, and they'll drive those areas. [01:48:06] The addictions, you know, whether it's to a particular kind of food or whether it's a particular kind of thing. [01:48:11] Although, with men eating a lot of meat, I get that, you know. [01:48:14] But, uh, but when it comes to the actual, but other things that are very addictive, like sugars, alcohol, things like that. [01:48:19] Meat does not cause compulsion. [01:48:21] It can't. [01:48:22] You can't eat two pounds of beef. [01:48:24] You can eat two pounds of chocolate, though. [01:48:26] Yeah, you can. [01:48:26] That's true. [01:48:27] And then wait an hour and eat another two pounds. [01:48:29] You can't do that with steak. [01:48:30] No, you can't. [01:48:31] That's true. [01:48:32] Although, they, uh, they do know that, um, That chocolate actually gives, it reduces endorphins when you eat it. [01:48:41] Yeah, yeah. [01:48:42] And it's even more effective in women, apparently, from what I've read from the brain studies. [01:48:46] But with men, they say you just show him a picture of meat and his brain lights up. [01:48:51] Which is why I tell people look, if a guy doesn't like meat, there's something wrong. [01:48:56] Yeah, I think that's totally fair. [01:48:58] Father, that was amazing, and I appreciate your doing that. [01:49:00] Thank you for having me. [01:49:01] Thank you. [01:49:01] I appreciate it. [01:49:02] Very much.
