The Tucker Carlson Show - It's Not Just Fake News. It's Way Worse... Aired: 2023-12-08 Duration: 08:37 === Seeing Beyond the Surface (02:25) === [00:00:00] So one of the things I find so striking about you, having watched you on and off over the years, and this must be a burden for you personally, but your ability to see people at a deeper level or to see things in them that are not obvious to the rest of us. [00:00:17] And I want to give a specific example. [00:00:19] So there's a guy called Brian Stelter who had the media show on CNN. [00:00:23] I first met Brian Stelter when he was a high school student or a first year college student because he would hang around the show I worked on at the time at CNN. [00:00:30] This was 20 years ago at least. [00:00:32] And I always thought he was awkward and weird and probably had a super creepy personal life, but I never took him seriously. [00:00:40] There's a pretty famous clip, and I want to play it right now, of you critiquing Brian Stelter. [00:00:47] And you take him way more seriously than I ever did. [00:00:50] And I think you're right too. [00:00:51] So this is a pretty famous clip of you on Brian Stelter. [00:00:56] Hell on earth. [00:00:58] He wants to run your life. [00:00:59] He wants to control every aspect of your life because he knows he is a cowardly, degenerate sack of anti-human trash. [00:01:09] I pledge before my heavenly father that I will resist them every way I can. [00:01:16] These people are the literal demon spawn of the pit of hell. [00:01:21] Look at him. [00:01:22] And you know what? [00:01:23] He is better than you if you keep letting him run your life. [00:01:25] He runs your kids. [00:01:27] He runs the schools. [00:01:28] He runs the banks. [00:01:29] This guy, this spirit, this smiling, leering devil that thinks you can't see what he is. [00:01:37] He is your enemy. [00:01:39] Period. [00:01:41] All the narcissistic, devil-worshipping filth. [00:01:46] I see you, enemy. [00:01:48] I see you, enemy. [00:01:50] Enemy! [00:01:51] Enemy! [00:01:52] You are my enemy! [00:01:55] And I swear total resistance to you and everything I've got. [00:02:01] Disingenuous, fake, false, broke back, twisted, a defiler, a betrayer, a backstabber, a devil. [00:02:11] You know, they got on CE, Stelter. [00:02:14] I see you. [00:02:15] You understand me? [00:02:16] I know what you think of me and my family. [00:02:18] I see you right back. [00:02:20] You understand that? [00:02:21] You understand that, Stelter? === Censorship Hearings Controversy (04:38) === [00:02:25] I've only watched that several hundred times. [00:02:28] And I laugh every time, but I also, there's something to, if Brian Stelter had absolute power, would you and your family survive? [00:02:35] Of course not. [00:02:35] You wouldn't. [00:02:36] You'd be, of course not, and neither would mine. [00:02:38] So there's a lot that's true about what you said. [00:02:41] How did you perceive that? [00:02:42] The rest of us just made fun of him. [00:02:44] Now, once they started the censorship and deplatforming, remember back then they would deny it. [00:02:49] Oh, yeah, we're taking people off air, but it's not censorship. [00:02:51] Now they admit, no, it's censorship. [00:02:52] We're doing this for your own good. [00:02:54] So he was really the face of that. [00:02:56] And he was working for the head of CNN that was really in charge of it. [00:03:00] It later came out. [00:03:01] CNN currently is not in charge. [00:03:03] They've handed it completely over to the Justice Department to quarterback, as Congress reported a few months ago with the documents. [00:03:09] But at the time, Brian Stelter and his mini-me, Oliver Darcy, his Popeye, were going around calling up and harassing my sponsors, taking sponsors away. [00:03:19] And they were going around and organizing big tech to take not just myself, but many other people offline. [00:03:28] And so he was destroying our free speech. [00:03:30] He was taking our sponsors. [00:03:31] It's crazy. [00:03:31] I just want to restate. [00:03:33] You are not promoting race hatred. [00:03:35] You're against race hatred. [00:03:36] You never have promoted that ever. [00:03:38] You're not promoting violence. [00:03:40] You've never called for violence. [00:03:42] And you've never even called for breaking the law. [00:03:44] And so that's why there's so much anger there, because I remember the day I did that in a few other clips that went viral. [00:03:50] I showed all the stuff he was doing, but then the media attacked me and just clicked it out of context. [00:03:55] But still, it reverberated with people because people were sick of the corporate legacy media. [00:04:00] So people say, well, why is he so angry? [00:04:02] Well, it's because he's literally trying to take us off air, literally taking our sponsors. [00:04:07] I mean, the equivalent of the Vikings a thousand years ago in England pulling up and burning a village down. [00:04:12] And so there he is, all sweet and liberal and cackling and laughing, but he's really an agent of anti-American totalitarianism. [00:04:20] And so he was the frontman of that. [00:04:22] And I wanted to just simply say, you're right. [00:04:24] I see you. [00:04:24] I know what you're doing. [00:04:26] So people see out of context and think, why are you being so mean to him? [00:04:28] Well, I mean, he's literally trying to destroy my free speech, take me off air, and put my family on the street. [00:04:34] So I'm pissed off at him. [00:04:36] What's interesting is, and I, I mean, I don't know if you want me to reveal this, but we had dinner in our barn last night and there were some drinks. [00:04:43] And after dinner, you and my producer called Stelter on the phone. [00:04:48] And what was so, and it was on speaker, so I listened to it. [00:04:50] What was so interesting was, you know, you've been very clear in a very direct, pretty masculine way, I would say, about how you feel about Brian Stelter. [00:04:58] There's not a lot of confusion about your views on Stelter after clips like that, which doubtless he's seen because he Googles himself compulsively. [00:05:04] He was very kind of syrupy-sweet with you. [00:05:08] And that's why I was sarcastic and told him I want to date him. [00:05:11] You did. [00:05:11] Yeah. [00:05:12] In fact, the exact line that you had was, Brian, I'm not usually gay, but I want you. [00:05:18] And he seemed a little bit, I'm not saying he's open to it or whatever, but he wasn't shocked by it. [00:05:21] And he's like, give me your phone number. [00:05:22] Give me, talk to you. [00:05:23] Yeah. [00:05:23] And then he hit your producer, please give me his number right now. [00:05:26] Yeah, that was interesting. [00:05:27] But I was being silly with him. [00:05:28] But there was also a line. [00:05:30] He goes, oh, Alex Jones, I said, I want you to call my show. [00:05:33] And he said, oh, you still got a show? [00:05:35] And I went, no, you're the one that doesn't have a show. [00:05:39] Sorry, I said it's so poor to like recount conversations people were witnessing. [00:05:44] It was funny, though. [00:05:44] But you said, you know, you, you know, you're, you're off TV now, but you're a real star. [00:05:49] I mean, not on CNN, but on my show. [00:05:53] So good. [00:05:54] Anyway, but what was interesting was if someone had talked about you that way and then called you late night after a couple of drinks, you'd say, you know, up yours, pal. [00:06:03] You know what I mean? [00:06:04] Like, buzz off, or I'm not taking your call. [00:06:06] But he kind of sucked up to you. [00:06:07] That's a very weird, passive-aggressive posture. [00:06:10] Well, I've said a lot of really mean things about him and attacked him. [00:06:13] And when I watched the clips out of context, I feel guilty. [00:06:16] But he was going around with Oliver Darcy. [00:06:18] They would brag on Twitter and literally hitting hundreds of my sponsors. [00:06:21] And I say hundreds. [00:06:22] I'd have like 20. [00:06:23] They'd take them all. [00:06:24] I get 20 more. [00:06:24] Take them all. [00:06:25] This went on for years. [00:06:26] So you go get a sponsor. [00:06:27] You get them. [00:06:27] They're doing great. [00:06:28] He takes it away from you. [00:06:30] And then he brags that him and Dart. [00:06:32] I was taken off Twitter, not for the Sandy Hook stuff that came later that they focused on. [00:06:36] Look it up. [00:06:37] They had the former head of Twitter and the lawyer on Joe Rogan about four years ago. [00:06:42] And Joe said, Why did you man Alex Jones? [00:06:44] Lawyer goes, Okay, let me open my clipboard. [00:06:46] She goes, Here's why. [00:06:47] He was mean to Oliver Darcy. [00:06:49] So I'm at the Capitol. [00:06:51] They're having censorship hearings. [00:06:52] Sundar Pachai is there. [00:06:54] I just confronted him in the hall. [00:06:55] Who runs Google? [00:06:55] And you guys are welcome to use that if you want. [00:06:57] And then that was at the Senate. [00:06:59] So now they were going over for a house meeting. [00:07:01] And there's Oliver Darcy in the line. === Why Was Alex Jones Deplatformed? (01:33) === [00:07:03] He gets to get in. [00:07:03] I don't even get into a hearing where they then attacked me. [00:07:06] They'd attacked me at the last hearing, but I don't get to face my accuser. [00:07:09] And so I get in his face. [00:07:10] I don't threaten him, but I say, you are an evil man. [00:07:13] You're un-American coming after my free speech, harassing my sponsors, trying to get me off the internet. [00:07:18] And the last place I was on was Twitter. [00:07:20] They'd held out. [00:07:21] And so Jack Dorsey had held out. [00:07:24] And so Jack Dorsey admitted, well, the last straw was, I bullied Oliver Darcy. [00:07:29] And so that's why I was deplatformed. [00:07:31] Elon Musk thinks it was the Sandy Hook thing. [00:07:33] And notice. [00:07:34] You know that in most cultures, bullying Oliver Darcy would be like a rite of passage. [00:07:39] Like you couldn't, like that would be a positive good, right? [00:07:42] Well, here's the thing. [00:07:43] He's literally on Twitter taking my sponsors, calling me to be silenced. [00:07:47] So he's been attacking me, attacking my speech and my living. [00:07:51] And then all I do is shove a camera in his face while he's waiting to go into the hearing for five minutes and say, Man, you are un-American. [00:07:58] You got some evil eyes. [00:07:59] And I said, You really look like a piece of slime. [00:08:01] I mean, I told him that. [00:08:03] Fair, fair. [00:08:04] And so the point is, he's a man. [00:08:06] He's a quote journalist in the arena. [00:08:08] He goes around harassing people and stalking them financially and their free speech. [00:08:14] He'd already bragged that he got me taken off all this other stuff and that he was instrumental, which he was. [00:08:19] And then he can't take me saying, Man, you're a jerk. [00:08:22] Right. [00:08:23] So this is the classic posture. [00:08:25] You know, stop hitting me, he says as he fires a gun through your windshield. [00:08:30] Exactly. [00:08:30] They can dish it out, but they can't take it. [00:08:34] You'll hear people say the news is full of lies.
