[00:10:47]  So let's talk Ghelaine Maxwell, the hidden royal, as I like to call her.
[00:10:53]  I actually don't like to call that.
[00:10:55]  She basically, she's got expanded charges coming against her.
[00:10:59]  You know, they dropped the sex trafficking charges.
[00:11:01]  And by dropped, I mean added, which is the opposite of the word dropped.
[00:11:05]  They added sex trafficking charges.
[00:11:07]  New charges dropped.
[00:11:08]  Which take place also during 2001 to 2004.
[00:11:13]  So expanding the scope of what they're looking at.
[00:11:16]  And yeah, she's in trouble for sex trafficking conspiracy.
[00:11:20]  Yeah, the state added a couple new specific allegations.
[00:11:26]  There's a whole nother victim they added.
[00:11:28]  So they called that they're all anonymous, right?
[00:11:31]  So there's three accusers in the previous indictment.
[00:11:36]  This one adds one.
[00:11:37]  So minor victim four.
[00:11:39]  And the state alleges that Maxwell met minor victim four when the victim was approximately 14 years old and groomed them.
[00:11:48]  That's the word the state uses to, quote, engage in sexual acts with Epstein.
[00:11:53]  Maxwell, Epstein, and quote, other conspirators, interesting, sent the minor lingerie and gifts.
[00:12:03]  They're alleging that Epstein and Maxwell encouraged the 14-year-old to recruit other females to provide sexualized massages to Epstein, and that they were also successful in that endeavor.
[00:12:14]  They added a new charge of sex trafficking a minor for with like the explicit reason of engaging in a commercial sex act with Jeffrey Epstein.
[00:12:24]  That's new.
[00:12:26]  And all of this is related to conduct from the Palm Beach residents.
[00:12:30]  So this is, this person coming forward is actually someone who testified in the Florida case in 2007.
[00:12:40]  So it's a little unclear, at least to me, how the state plans on moving forward with this.
[00:12:48]  If it's not like, this should be covered by the non-prosecution agreement, right?
[00:12:53]  One would think so, but I also have a feeling that they probably prepared pretty well for this.
[00:12:59]  Like, I don't think that these are, I mean, I don't know.
[00:13:04]  Non-prosecution agreement was upheld, if I'm remembering correctly.
[00:13:08]  But like, I don't know if it specifically maybe falls under it or they're using these other charges as a way to like get out from under it.

[00:13:16]  Yeah, it's very unclear.
[00:13:18]  I mean, they're very specific that the reason why they're adding this indictment is because, you know, this person was not interested in testifying prior and then after the arrest was made came forward, even though they had testified and interviewed in the 2007 investigation.
[00:13:36]  So maybe that's how they're trying to get around it.
[00:13:38]  I'm like very, I don't know.
[00:13:41]  It seems a little iffy to me.
[00:13:44]  And in general, like, I don't know, I was reading some stuff where there was this interesting blog post.
[00:13:51]  Someone was going through some of the unsealed documents that are kind of like, you know, different, you know, court memos, different defense memos that are being kind of slowly released.
[00:14:04]  And there was an unsealed motion that had to do with Gillan's, like, a recent motion that was rejected for release on bail.
[00:14:13]  Yeah, yeah.
[00:14:14]  And that motion.
[00:14:16]  What's up?
[00:14:16]  She's had three of them so far, I think.

[00:14:19]  So this was like from, I think the most recent one, yeah.
[00:14:22]  And it was, it was sealed because it referenced documents that are still under seal, but now it's been unsealed.
[00:14:30]  And perhaps now those documents will be unsealed.
[00:14:32]  It's a little unclear.
[00:14:34]  But this person pointed out a couple tidbits that I want to bring up.
[00:14:39]  In this memo, Maxwell's defense team states, quote, the government concedes it cannot establish that either Miss Maxwell or Epstein ever caused or sought to cause accuser three to travel while she was a minor, that she was underage when she allegedly engaged in sex acts with Epstein.
[00:14:58]  And they cite a government memo from February 26, 2021, but it's still under seal.
[00:15:05]  So we don't know exactly what they're referencing.
[00:15:07]  But that's a little bit troubling.
[00:15:09]  Yeah, yeah, I'll say so.
[00:15:11]  Yeah, the attorney continues saying that, again, this is Maxwell's attorney, that allegations cannot support the two conspiracies charged in the indictment, leaving the government with only two witnesses to prove the charges against Maxwell.

[00:15:28]  And then they follow that with the government produced documents indicating that the government prosecutors misled a federal judge to obtain evidence against Miss Maxwell.
[00:15:40]  And that cites, again, a still sealed memo from the government.
[00:15:45]  That's a little worrying.
[00:15:47]  Yeah, I'm curious to see how that'll play out, too.
[00:15:50]  I mean, it's hard to tell when I'm reading legal documents how much of stuff comes from lawyer bluster.

[00:15:59]  And how much they would actually fly in court.
[00:16:01]  Like, who knows?
[00:16:02]  You know, I mean, probably some people do, but I certainly do not.
[00:16:07]  Because Ghillane's team does seem to be trying to throw everything to the wall and see what sticks, which makes sense.
[00:16:12]  I mean, that's a legal strategy.
[00:16:15]  And in fact, life strategy I've employed my entire life.

[00:16:19]  It's also tough when it's referencing memos that are still sealed.
[00:16:23]  And I'm hoping that as those get unsealed, we'll be able to see.
[00:16:27]  But if the government is, you know, admitting to what the prosecution suggests, that's very troubling concerning how strong of a case the government has against Maxwell.

[00:16:40]  So I do want to say that one thing I found out as I was reading through some of this stuff is that one of Ghillane's lawyers is named Bobby Sternheim.

[00:16:54]  And I just want to say that is the most Ghillane name.

[00:21:48]  And her doing that is her version of doing that.
[00:21:51]  I mean, we saw that with Weinstein.
[00:21:54]  Weinstein's version of this was one of the most tremendous events of my entire life.

[00:54:17]  And he says that once she beats her case, she is going to use her prominence as an activist, in fact, an abolition activist to help the hundreds of thousands of people in pre-child distension out on bail to get him out.
