[00:00:04] I think somewhat soon, or if it hasn't been already. [00:00:07] Miss Cleo! [00:00:10] My friend was Miss Cleo for Halloween. [00:00:13] Justin Judeau. [00:00:14] Was very funny. [00:00:16] It was very, very funny. [00:00:18] She was very good. [00:00:19] Did she, so we're very dangerously close to talking about magic again. [00:00:26] You know a lot about magic. [00:00:27] Well, I've been under this thing called ketosis for about the past two weeks. [00:00:33] You picked it up in LA, right? [00:00:34] Yeah, I've been doing intermittent fasting, which is actually good, though. [00:00:39] No, okay. [00:00:41] Definitely is not good for you. [00:00:43] Not eating food of any kind for extended periods, generally not known to be a healing sort of regimen. [00:00:52] I disagree. [00:00:53] Okay, well, this is this is Meta from Mars. [00:00:56] Women are from Venus Radio. [00:00:58] We've got a lot of fun. [00:01:00] You know, I'm all Venus, actually. [00:01:03] Yes. [00:01:03] I'm a Taurus Sun Libra rising. [00:01:07] Uh-huh. [00:01:08] Both ruled by Venus. [00:01:09] I'm all Venus, baby. [00:01:10] Venus is a person. [00:01:11] No, come on. [00:01:13] Oh, well, I'm not sure. [00:01:14] Oh, Planet can rule the other stuff you mentioned. [00:01:17] I am a Libra, which means I was born in December. [00:01:21] And yeah. [00:01:23] My birthday is December 15th. [00:01:25] That's no, it is. [00:01:26] Yeah, my social security number is 510-384. [00:01:31] It's a phone number. [00:01:33] 1442. [00:01:35] Whose number is that? [00:01:36] Oh, shit. [00:01:37] That is Naomi Campbell's number. [00:01:39] No, that's not a real phone number. [00:01:40] Don't call that number. [00:01:41] I'll tell you something about numbers, though. [00:01:43] Check this out. [00:01:43] So, Eddie Money. [00:01:45] Didn't he die? [00:01:45] He died recently. [00:01:47] Okay. [00:01:47] He did. [00:01:48] So when I was a younger man. [00:01:51] Classic name. [00:01:52] Classic name. [00:01:52] Well, Edward Money. [00:01:55] When I was a young man, my friend, who I'll just refer to as the Foss man, stole a phone belonging to the daughter of one Eddie Money. [00:02:07] And in that phone, of course, was her father's phone number, Eddie Money. [00:02:10] So what we would do, and I was like 17, I was like 16, I think, when this happened. [00:02:15] What we would do is we'd call Eddie Money every single night, no matter what. [00:02:19] Every single night. [00:02:20] And the good thing about Eddie is that no matter where in this world that Eddie Money laid his head, Eddie Money would wake up and pick up that phone. [00:02:27] Really? [00:02:28] Yeah. [00:02:29] And we had some fairly elaborate things we did on him. [00:02:32] Like once we got him to put us on the list to see him at Kanukai Harbor, which is like four hours north of here, and we did not go because we pretended we had met him at a pool. [00:02:41] But then at one point, I was just like, we just gave up. [00:02:45] And he was getting not only calls from me, but everyone else I know every single night. [00:02:49] Refused to change his number for years. [00:02:51] And I would just yell, like, Eddie, I'm fucked up. [00:02:53] Like, I'm in Oakland. [00:02:56] Can you please just give me two tickets? [00:02:59] Paradise. [00:03:00] And I thought that was very clever at the time, but I would just do it every single night. [00:03:04] Eventually, I went on tour around the country for two and a half months, and I gave the phone number out and sort of did a bit every single place I went, where we would call Eddie Money, etc. [00:03:14] I called him on stage a bunch of times. [00:03:17] And he would pick up, of course. [00:03:19] And it was so prevalent that years later, when I returned to, I think, DC or Richmond, Virginia, these people were like, hey, check this out. [00:03:27] We have Eddie Money's number. [00:03:28] We call him every single night. === Calling Eddie Money Live (01:29) === [00:03:29] No shit. [00:03:30] Every city across this country, there are thousands of people calling Eddie Money every night. [00:03:33] And eventually he told my good friend, who shall remain nameless, that he texted him a bunch, a long string of tests that he was going to kill him. [00:03:41] And he had friends in the Oakland Police Department and that he would get away with it. [00:03:45] Still refuse to change his number, though. [00:04:11] Welcome, classic rock radio fans, to 1077 The Moan. [00:04:19] Hello. [00:04:20] And this is called Groaning and Moanin with Big B, Lizzie Thin, and Old Chomsky. [00:04:32] And we are here to, old Chomsky, because he's got like the, he's kind of got like a National Socialist Black Metal thing going on now. [00:04:39] We are ready to rock. [00:04:40] We have four hours of Death in June for all you girls out there in Radioland. [00:04:46] Is it problematic now to have Death in June records? [00:04:50] I don't know. [00:04:50] Only girls like that band. [00:04:53] Any guy that pretends to like that just hasn't heard real rock music. [00:04:57] Like, screw, just kidding.
