[00:00:36]  In late September of my freshman year of high school, just four months after my conversion, I attended the See You at the Pole rally at the flagpole in front of my high school.
[00:00:46]  See You at the Pole is a yearly event that gathers evangelical students at their respective institutions to pray at the foot of the American flag.
[00:00:55]  By my senior year, I went beyond the yearly event.
[00:00:58]  I committed to praying at the flag every Friday and invited anyone to join me.
[00:01:03]  Sometimes I was alone when I stood there at the pole an hour before school.
[00:01:08]  Sometimes there were three or four of us.
[00:01:10]  We prayed for God to reign in our school and in our nation.
[00:01:14]  We asked him to combat the godlessness of our culture.
[00:01:17]  We gathered at the foot of our country's national symbol in order to ask God to retake what was rightfully his.
