	I want to apologize for being a very, very angry man.

	If anybody ever asked me how I was, honest to God, I always tell them 99.99999% of the time I tell you I'm fabulous because I am.
	But I'm not.
	And it's been amazing how I've been able to hide that for so long.
	But anyway, I'm about to head to San Diego, California.
	And I want to apologize to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that I'm so angry.
	And I'm done with that.
	I am moving forward.
	Okay?
	I know there's some that will never have the eyes to see or the ears to hear, and I'm finished with them.
	All I can do is continue to plant the seeds and then hope my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ waters them.
	And I've been up for 96 hours now, and I'm leaving Alabama, headed to San Diego, California, and this is the last time I will come back to Alabama.
	My government doesn't like me here.
	I've got a court order for life.
	That I can't have anything to do with health, wellness, and pain management.
	My family don't like me here either, unfortunately.
	They think that if I come to their home, that the SWAT team is going to show up.
	Even though, you know, we got P. Daddy and, you know, we got Keon West and all these other people that do all these things.
	And did the government show up at their children's house?
	Did the government show up at their mom and dad's house?
	No, they didn't.
	But again, if my family wants to live in delusion, that's on them.
	You know, I come here very simply for some simple reasons.
	My mother, who birthed me, my son, my daughter, and my grandson.
	And, you know, yesterday was Memorial Day.
	And guess what?
	I spent it completely by myself, but it's okay.
	You know, I can handle that.
	It's not a big deal.
	It was frustrating, you know, that I come to Alabama, you know, to see my family, and my family wants nothing to do with me, and that's okay.
	I didn't get a phone call from my mom, my dad, my brother.
	It never happens.
	My sister didn't happen.
	My son didn't happen.
	That was hurtful.
	My daughter, I did talk to my daughter.
	And we had a very short conversation because I was pissed.
	You know, why?
	Because, you know, I came in town or was coming in town on Thursday to see my grandson, but I couldn't because of my ex-wife because it was her weekend or her day to keep him.
	But then I didn't get to see my grandson on Saturday or Sunday or Monday while they were at the lake, but my ex-wife did.
	And I'm the bad guy.
	And I'm done.
	I am so done with being angered.
	Oh, God, because all it does is piss me off.
	And I'm done with that.
	So what I'm doing moving forward is I've forgiven all of them, and I'm done with all of them.
	You know, one of the things my father said was the only thing he wanted in life for all his family to be happy.
	Wow, Daddy.
	You haven't talked to your sister or your brother or your other sister in 20 years.
	20 years.
	And you know what, Daddy?
	You've taught me that it's okay if I don't talk to my brother or my sister or my son or my daughter.
	That's not okay.
	But you know what?
	If they don't want to talk to me, I'm done.
	Because I am not the bad guy.
	Yes, I freaking do things that nobody else will.
	You know, I'm very outspoken.
	I'm very controversial.
	But you've got to talk to the man upstairs because of that, you know, because he made me, and Daddy, you raised me, and you raised me to never stand down, to never stop speaking out, to stand up for the little guy.
	And you know what?
	You did it very good at the baseball park, Daddy.
	But guess what?
	I decided, hey, if you can do it at the baseball park, guess what?
	God through me can do it across the world.
	And.
	Ah.
	Yeah.
	The only person I have to make happy is my Heavenly Father.
	Not my mom, not my dad, not my brother, not my sister, not my daughter, not my son, not even my grandson.
	son, that hurts.
	Because one thing...
	I won't.
	I'm not going to do it.
	And y 'all can all hate me for that, but I won't.
	I will stay a child forever.
	And that's why kids love me.
	That's why my grandson...
	Why?
	because he sees and hears me.
	And that's a blessing.
	But again, you know, if I can't be a part of his life, that's on his mom, his dad, not mine.
	Because I'm here.
	They know I will drop anything in a heartbeat to come here.
	But I'm not coming here anymore.
	Alabama, the government don't want me here.
	My family don't want me here.
	I'm done.
	I'm done.
	I'm headed to San Diego, California for Dr. Robert Young, who I believe is the most brilliant man that walked the face of the earth.

	It was so funny because I Because I'm about to fly to San Diego, and I need an Uber to get me to the courthouse, and I've got to get a hotel room tonight, because I don't arrive to 1040 tonight.
	And I checked my checking account, and I had $4 and I think, it wasn't $11, it's $4 and something cents.
	But God always shows me 1-1 when I'm on the right path.
	And you know what time it was when I checked my checking account.
	It was 11 /11.
	God is great.

	For decades, my dad's name, Dr. Robert O. Young, has been synonymous with alternative healing.

	Well, today his wellness center was raided by more than 20 officers, and he was booked into jail for reasons his attorneys say are unclear.
	Young's attorney argues that state law allows homeopathic treatment, and that's what Young provided.
	The state of California allows the patient to choose.
	In this case, what Dr. Young has done is protected by the state.
	Today, my father is behind bars, awaiting sentencing for the crime of caring too much.
	My name is Adam Young.
	I'm the oldest of four siblings.
	I have one younger sister and two younger brothers.
	Our dad is known as Dr. Robert O. Young.
	We just call him Dad.
	My dad is now being persecuted and all he really, I believe, ever wanted to do is genuinely help people.
	What my dad has gone through, and he has people that love him and people that totally disagree with him, his legal problems and what he's gone through is blatantly way too far.
	Way too far.
	When you're doing things to help other people that go against the grain of People with power, influence, and money.
	Medical freedom to choose safer and more effective alternatives to allopathic or conventional medicine.
	It ruffles feathers and it draws attention that has put my dad in the place he is now, which is unfortunately in jail.
	And that's kind of why we're doing this.
	We're trying to help him.
	This weaponization of the legal system is known as lawfare.
	A strategy that flips the principle of justice on its head, operating under the presumption of guilt until proven innocent.
	Its goal is to publicly destroy the target's reputation and financially cripple them until they can no longer afford to defend themselves.
	At that point, the accused is often left with no real choice but to accept a plea deal, one that typically demands a fabricated admission of guilt.
	Under the looming threat of imprisonment, and despite holding a PhD in nutrition and a doctorate in naturopathy, my father was coerced into submitting the following statement to the court: I, Robert O. Young, declare freely and voluntarily Under penalty of perjury, that I do not have any post-high school educational degrees from any accredited schools.
	I am not a microbiologist.
	I am not a hematologist.
	I am not a medical doctor.
	I am not a naturopathic doctor.
	I am not a trained scientist.
	He admitted in court he had no post high school educational degrees from any accredited schools.
	Young has a PhD but is not a medical doctor.
	He preaches that exercise in raw foods balance your pH and ensure you never get sick.
	This all began back in 1995 as an accredited naturopath.
	My dad was helping people heal themselves by recommending natural remedies.
	For that, he was charged for practicing medicine without a license, even though there was no medicine involved.
	He received a $35 fine, and then ultimately the charges were dismissed.
	My father's work had gained such widespread respect that he was invited to the White House to meet with President Barack Obama to explore how his methods might be integrated into the Affordable Care Act.
	But as his influence grew, so did the threat he posed to the powers that be.
	In 2013, while our entire family was away on vacation, authorities raided our home, seizing personal belongings that would later be used to build a new case.
	One year later, my father was arrested and indicted on a series of unfounded charges.
	The subsequent trial ended in a hung jury.
	At that point, there were three options.
	A mistrial, A full retrial or the plea deal.
	Robert O. Young has agreed to taking a plea deal this week in which he admitted illegally treating patients at his luxury Valley Center Ranch.
	Just when my father believed the nightmare was over, new charges were suddenly filed and the twisted machinery of lawfare was set into motion once again.
	Now he faces new criminal charges for, again, treating terminally ill patients without medical training, certifications, or college degrees.
	This time, there was no plea deal on the table.
	They wanted my father silenced and locked away to serve as a warning to anyone else who dares to challenge their corrupt system.
	Obviously, my dad isn't the only example of someone who has received negative attention for actually trying to do good in the world.

	And they put me in prison for 10 years.
	I got the longest sentence in the history of America for the non-crime of contempt of court.
	TV pitchman Kevin Trudeau will spend the next 10 years behind bars.
	Trudeau was convicted for criminal contempt after a court order barred him from running.
	We have people that have opinions that go against the mainstream talking points.
	And those talking points are not government talking points.
	They're pharmaceutical industry, profit-driven talking points.
	If I tell you, even if I'm a medical doctor, eat an orange, I am breaking the law.
	Because I have now magically transformed that orange into a drug.
	And I am now promoting an unlicensed drug.
	This is the crazy law that no one knows about.
	I've investigated the show trial of Dr. Robert Young.
	What they're charging him with this time is something different.
	It's conspiring to practice medicine without a certificate.
	Not without a license, but without a certificate.
	The law says that naturopathic doctors in the state of California now have to register with the state each year for a certificate.
	What they're doing is retroactively applying this law from 2025 to a case from 2022.
	Where the law didn't even exist yet.
	This is the case of Jane Clayson.
	In 2020, a family friend of over 40 years, a woman named Jane Clayson, reached out to my father.
	She was suffering from liver failure and was seeking alternative treatments.
	My father provided her with a natural health protocol, which initially had a profoundly positive impact on her condition.
	However, Mrs. Clayson eventually abandoned the protocol and her health declined significantly.
	Recognizing the seriousness of her condition, my father urged her to consult a licensed medical doctor.
	Following a series of tests, she was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis.
	Her eldest daughter, This despite the fact that Jane Jr.'s younger sister, Hannah, firmly believed that their mother alone was responsible for her condition.
	In a text exchange with the prosecution's paralegal, Hannah offered this revealing admission.
	My mom's mental health has been in serious decline.
	She failed a psychological exam in the hospital last week.
	I never gave her extra medication.
	That is an outright lie.
	My mother's health is a mess because of choices she made and no amount of blaming other people will change that.
	All this cloak and dagger stuff is my mother's attempt to get attention.
	Please take what she says with a grain of salt.
	That text thread alone should have been enough to dismiss this entire case, but for reasons still unclear, they were not permitted to be submitted as evidence.
	This was a clear indication of a Brady violation and grounds for a mistrial, but that too was struck down.
	In defiance of these revelations, Jane Clayson Jr. proceeded with legal action against my father.
	When my dad stood trial, his accuser, Jane Clayson Johnson Sr., never appeared in court.
	This absence denied him his Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, a fundamental violation of due process and another compelling reason the case should have been dismissed.
	Robert Young is accused again of treating a terminally ill patient without...
	Think about that.
	Think about the implications of that.
	I can't go to a doctor and decide on what treatment I want for my issue.
	If the government imprisons someone like Dr. Young, who is treating people with their consent, this is a scary slippery slope.
	My dad isn't the first advocate of natural healing to face persecution.
	Following John D. Rockefeller's campaign against traditional healing, generations of dedicated doctors have been dismissed as quacks for practicing methods that had been trusted over 4,000 years.
	As America's first billionaire and a powerful oil magnate, Rockefeller recognized that synthetic pharmaceuticals could be manufactured from petroleum.
	With profit as the motive, he launched a calculated effort to dismantle natural medicine and discredit those who practiced it.
	Nearly a century later, is it any surprise that the very system he helped create, modern allopathic medicine, is one of the leading causes of death in America?
	Well, medical errors are now the third leading cause of death in the US.
	Care has gone out of caring.
	It hurts me as a medical man and to see people like Robert Young and so many others being ostracized for trying to help people.

	How many times can you say thank you to someone that pretty much saved my life?

	It chokes me up to think about this because this man should not be where he is right now.
	He's the most wonderful and caring person.

	He fought for us and we have a responsibility to take control now and help him.
	From the almost 18 years I know him, I've never seen anybody try so hard to help every human being that he comes in contact with and the way he's being treated is disgusting.
	After a long legal battle, the Valley Center Ranch where the man performed the treatments has also been sold.
	I visit my dad every week and I can tell it's Not a pleasant experience for him, but what's amazing is how positive he is.
	I think he's just so devoted to his calling that he is kind of accepted that this is an unfortunate part of that calling.
	That being said, I would really prefer that we could do something to help get him out.
	I want all Americans and eventually the world to be able to have this freedom to be able to choose The quality and quantity of their life and not be dictated by any pharmaceutical company, controlled university, or any government telling us how to take care of our bodies.
	Through his unwavering courage and deep commitment to humanity, my dad has earned the love and support of millions around the world.
	As Tony Robbins eloquently states in the foreword to my father's book, Reclaim Your Inner Terrain, "Over the last two years, there is not a single man, woman, or child I have sent to Dr. Young who does not feel he has profoundly impacted the quality of their health." Remember, it is your body, it is your life, and it is your choice.
	As much as I long to see my father regain the freedom he so deeply deserves, I understand that this case is about more than just one man.
	It strikes at the heart of a much larger issue: the fundamental human right to choose how we care for our own bodies.

	Well, one of the obvious ones that's linked to, you know, just the legal system is to file for an appeal.
	So from today we have 60 days to file for that and I think that will be Can you talk more?
	I know you go in and you see your dad every week.
	Can you talk more about his state of mind and just how he is processing all this?
	So I do visit him every Thursday and it's...
	I think it goes without saying that myself, my dad, and his supporters don't feel like he deserves to be there or should be there.
	There are silver linings.
	One of the silver linings is that he's extremely positive and he just makes the best of it.
	He's like, hey, I'm working out more than I used to, right?
	And one of the reasons why it wouldn't work out as much as he is in jail, ironically, is just because, you know, he was always helping people.
	He's always answering emails or he's maybe not in a direct capacity helping individuals.
	He's writing a paper about COVID that is going to get published in a journal.
	And so a lot of more sedentary work.
	But he's...
	The counter to that is he's not getting the best food and rest and water, but that's kind of who he is.
	He's trying to make the best of it.
	Do you feel like this whole process has been fair for your dad?
	No.
	For me, it's been very revealing about how what perhaps in some cases could be a system that is going through procedures that are fair, that it's also something where the people that are involved can easily twist things and use the system in an abusive way that makes it not fair.
	And so I do not think my dad got a fair shake.
	And what do you hope comes from today and the supporters being out here and everything?
	I think that's another silver lining, right?
	The more things that are perceived as negative that are happening to my dad, I think the more that it kind of hopefully stirs up awareness in people and gets them riled up to the point where they're like, well, we can't allow this to happen.
	And so there's more and more people that are...

	Yeah, I want to, in a spirit of gratitude, just say thank you.

	So just everyone that came today and everyone that's writing letters, everyone that's making any effort, there's different ways to help, you know.

	I think that even if those are small, there has to be acknowledgement that even those small efforts could be part of what makes a big difference.

	But if you go back and look when my dad was trying to study all this, there was no other option.
	There weren't schools.
	There are today.

	And sure, I think if there was someone in opposition giving any pushback.
	I think, yeah, that's fair.
	Like, my dad could go to some school and get, like, a degree that is from an accredited school.
	But, like, for what?
	He's already built up a reputation and that reputation was built on a foundation of success that he's had with people, you know, that came today and thousands of others.
	Not that you care about this, but, like, I, in my profession, I don't need to get into it.
	I used to get certified.
	Well, I don't now because people just come to me.
	They just come to me and they ask.
	I don't need it, you know, because of the reputation that I've built.
	Plus, I disagree with some of the things that they train and would require me to do.

	So, I happen to be a lawyer, but today I'm helping, along with Donna Sheehan, I'm helping coordinate the rally that was here earlier, as well as the media that showed up today.
	Okay, so let's talk about the rally first and the idea behind it.
	How did this come together?
	So, I got a call from Dr. Young in jail, probably, I wanna say three or four months ago, and he asked me, he said, So that's kind of started the whole thing out.
	And then I'd say last week we decided the movie came out, the documentary came out, and the timing was perfect to bring this all together, the documentary and So that's how it all transpired.
	Okay.
	Let's talk a little bit about the sentencing.
	What was the sentence?
	Can you tell us more about that?
	So he was charged with four felony counts and the total sentence was five years, eight months.
	You know, I could break it down if I look at it, but basically got three years on one count, and then he got another year on another count, and I believe eight months on a different count.
	He added up to five years and eight months, and he's got 222 days credit, so they're going to take that off the sentence.
	But yeah, he was charged with all four charges.
	Now, I know you've been talking to a lot of people.
	What's the sentiment?
	Like, how are people feeling?
	I think that, you know, we want his freedom.
	That's why we came here.
	He deserves to be free and he didn't get a fair child.
	So I think a little bit of disappointment today and feeling that, you know, he was sentenced for something that he shouldn't be sentenced for.
	You know, that's the sentiment.
	However, you know, Adam spoke with the silver lining and the things that we have.
	coming up there's awareness to this health freedom movement, more awareness.
	And there's an appeal process that might happen as well and there's some other things that may also transpire to help him have his voice and be released.
	Let's talk a little bit more about the trial itself and how Yeah.
	Can you bring up some of those points?
	Yeah.
	Yeah.
	So when you look at the record and you actually, I wasn't at the trial, but I did look at the record and I understand some things that happened.
	There are definitely Brady violations.
	And what a Brady violation is, is when there's exculpatory evidence, evidence that could have come in that could help prove his innocence that was not allowed in.
	And apparently there were plenty of Brady violations.
	So there was that.
	And, you know, prosecutorial misconduct as well as judicial.
	Part of misconduct as well and how I see that is that they didn't allow defense attorneys to make their case fully and when they did ask and file motions on behalf of Dr. Young they were denied over and over again.
	So I know that was kind of going on here.
	What else would you like to add?
	I'd like to add that I am very hopeful that we're in a time and place where the paradigm is continuing to shift and people are taking responsibility for their own health, knowing that they can heal their own bodies through good nutrition and through health and sunlight and all of nature's elements, right?
	And that we are in that movement.
