Hey guys, well I'm here with my favorite doctor, Dr. Mark Sherwood here today.
And guess what I just got?
It is a giant box of a Kingdom Crunch cereal.
His new line of cereal called Kingdom Crunch, and this particular flavor is Acai Bowl.
And let me tell you, it is so, so, so, so, so tasty and delicious.
But besides from it being so tasty, I have Dr. Sherwood here to tell us why it's so good for you, too, and why it's so amazing and should be in everyone's cupboard.
So what's up with this incredible cereal that you sent me that I can't stop eating, Dr. Sherwood?
Well, many times when we hear the word cereal, we think unhealthy, poisonous chemical, carcinogenic.
Shouldn't be eating it.
That is quite the opposite.
High protein, zero added sugars, organic ingredients, and healthy fats such as medium-trained triglycerides.
Deanna, that should be in everyone's cupboard, in every child's mouth, every day.
That is truly healthy and life-giving for kids.
I recommend it all the way.
Not because I made it, but because it solves a real problem in today's world.
Excuse me, I can't stop eating it, but I gave it to my son, Maverick, who also loves cereal, but I don't want him to eat cereal except for this.
This is really, really good.
It's really tasty.
It actually tastes like real acai in your mouth.
And it's packed full of all these nutrients and no sugar, right?
No added sugar?
That's insane.
How is it so sweet then?
Yeah, we use stevia, monk fruit, and some alulose there.
All of which, get this, are diabetic friendly.
They won't raise blood sugar, which is another benefit.
I've had people ask me, can I eat that if I'm diabetic?
Yes, you can.
And you can fix your diabetes.
Yay!
Awesome.
Well, this is so good.
Where can everybody find this Kingdom Crunch cereal?
They can find it at sherwood.tv forward slash shots and use your discount code to save.
Promo code shots.
Promo code shots and they can save some money out there and support your program.
Absolutely.
All right.
Go to sherwood.tv promo code shots and pick up this delicious Kingdom Crunch cereal today.
All right.
All right, without further ado, let's get into the top stories of the day.
Now, this has been a little bit of a slow week as far as any hard news and major events and global events are concerned.
Not a whole lot going on, a little bit uneventful.
But there has been an event that's going on that I do want to talk about, and I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to showcase it.
Now, this is the trial of Ms. Karen Reed from Massachusetts.
There is a trial right now that's getting a lot of media spotlight.
This is a very public media trial, and you're going to learn why in just a minute.
So Karen Reed is on trial.
She's a woman from Massachusetts, a very nasty woman, by the way, and very unlikable, but we'll get into that in a minute.
And she is being retried right now for the murder.
Of her boyfriend, John O 'Keefe, back in 2022.
So what she's being charged with is manslaughter, basically, the murder of her boyfriend.
And what happened is they were coming home, they were at a party with friends.
And by the way, another reason why this case is, you know, so much in the spotlight is because her boyfriend, John O 'Keefe, who she supposedly murdered.
was a police officer.
He was a very well-known police officer.
And they were amongst a lot of his police officer friends the night that this happened.
So they were all out, going out, drinking, having fun, going to a couple different bars.
Alcohol played a big role in this.
And then one of the friends said, hey, let's all go have an after party at, let's call him Bob, at Bob's house.
Who they all know very, very well.
They're good friends with.
So they drove back to Bob's house.
There was an after party going on.
And it was just amongst this very, very close group of friends.
And before John O 'Keefe could get into the house, evidently Karen Reed, his girlfriend at the time, slammed her SUV into him, hit him.
And then left him to die in the snow.
And it was a very cold, blizzardly night.
It was a snowstorm that night.
And she had been very angry at him.
They had been fighting, apparently, for months leading up to this.
And she was very jealous.
She thought maybe he was cheating on him.
She thought maybe he was getting ready to break up with her.
Because based on texts and other evidence, it did seem like he realized she was a whack job and wanted to break up with her.
And she was really, really angry and bitter.
And after hearing more of the story, she really is a whack job.
She's a crazy, bitchy woman.
Nasty woman.
So, allegedly, she hit him with her SUV before he could even get into the party, and he died, and she left him there.
And, of course, you know, he died in the snow.
She didn't call 911.
She didn't call for help.
Nothing.
And left him to die.
And then the next morning, you know, she was frantic.
She was freaking out.
She kept saying, did I hit him?
Could I have hit him?
What happened?
All of this stuff, you know, you'll kind of hear in the trial or from the news, so I'm just kind of giving a recap.
But, you know, fast forward later, she claims that she never hit him.
She has no idea how he died, but she didn't have anything to do with it.
She didn't hit him.
She didn't cause his murder or his death.
And she goes even further than basically her testimony is that she's saying all of his cop friends who were all together in that home, his police officer friends plotted this murder of him.
They are the ones who killed him.
He actually did go into this house.
They killed him.
Left him to die in the snow and then they covered it all up and they've been covering it up ever since.
Now this story is important in our culture war because this is a true classic example of a nasty feminist, nasty feminism versus logic and reason.
And even nasty feminism and liberalism versus...
Truth and police officers.
Law and order.
You know, not only is she battling against her boyfriend that she supposedly loved and cared about, but she's also waged this war against this entire group of police officers and claiming that there was corruption involved, that this whole group of police officers,
these Massachusetts police officers that were all well-known and respected, they all plotted and they...
They conspired to murder their best friend and then covered it up.
And she has no motive.
I mean, there's no motive for them to plot and kill their best friend, by the way.
There's no reason for them to.
There's no motive.
Whereas the motive clearly lies with her.
So what's really crazy, and we'll kind of go into more of the details, but this is a woman, and they've played a lot of voicemails from her.
They've read text messages from her.
She truly is just the epitome of this nasty feminist woman.
She's so gross.
She's so batshit crazy.
She's really an unlikable, unlikable person and woman and creature and nasty.
But somehow, in their first trial back in 2024, it resulted in a hung jury.
They couldn't decide whether she was guilty or innocent.
But all the evidence led to her.
She even had a broken taillight.
There was so many pieces of evidence when they pieced it together.
I mean, Occam's razor was the simplest reason of what happened.
She was wasted, and she admitted to being wasted.
She backed up into him, accidentally or intentionally killed him, and then...
Got scared, got freaked out, left his body to die.
I mean, that is a much more plausible event that happened instead of this whole group of well-known, well-respected police officers who somehow murdered their best friend and wanted to cover it up for no reason.
But the jury, I guess, didn't feel that way in the first trial, and it resulted in a hung jury.
So now what's happening this week is the retrial of Massachusetts versus Karen Reed.
And we're on day eight right now of this retrial.
And I hope that the jury has some sense about them this time.
When you see all the police officers that were best friends with her boyfriend coming forward and testifying with the same stories, the same facts.
Side with Karen Reed or think that she's not guilty.
Why is there any confusion at all?
And what's more interesting, too, again, with our culture war is that this ugly, nasty woman, this feminist woman, has created this media storm around her.
And all of these supporters all over the country and worldwide, I mean, supporters that are throwing rallies for her, saying free Karen, Karen's innocent, She's got all these, you know, millions of fans on social media saying, free Karen,
Karen's innocent.
She's got this diehard army, this free Karen army of supporters who have elevated her to a celebrity-type status.
And it's mostly women, of course.
It's mostly liberal feminist women that are in this free Karen army.
But it's just disgusting to watch how just because this is a woman, somehow she's innocent.
Somehow she's somebody to stand behind.
And you'll watch in a minute just how nasty this woman is and how she comes across and how unlikable she is.
It doesn't matter, apparently, how unlikable she is, how gross she is.
These feminist women are all siding with her.
They're throwing all their support by her.
It's just...
Grotesque to watch.
And I think it's just an example of how feminist women these days throw all logic and reason out the window and they'll just back a woman, support her.
As long as it's a woman versus a man, they will always support the woman.
They will always stand blindly follow the woman, almost religiously follow the woman.
And especially if it's a man and a police officer, you know, they're willing to even throw a police officer and a whole team of police officers under the bus just to blindly support their woman, their character in this big video game that they think they're playing.
So I'm going to play a couple of these clips for you.
And luckily, they're clips that the prosecutor has been playing in this new retrial.
Because ever since the first trial, She has been going on all these interviews.
There's been a Netflix special on her.
There's been lots of different documentaries about this woman.
And she is living it up.
She has no shame, no remorse, no guilt whatsoever about the death of her, you know, the boyfriend she supposedly loved.
She appears to be a sociopath.
Seriously, she has no empathy, no sympathy for them, no guilt.
She's smiling all the time.
She is laughing.
She is dressed to the nines like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, waving to the press, waving to her supposed fans out there and giving them hugs and blowing them kisses.
And even in the courtroom, she is just smiling and laughing and really making a mockery of the situation.
If she really cared about the death of her...
At the very least, you'd think she would show empathy or remorse for his family, for his close friends.
But there's nothing like that in her.
It's pretty scary to watch, like just a live living example of a sociopath in real life.
So I'm going to show you, we're going to play a couple of these clips here so that we can see.
So here is a clip of Karen even admitting in the Netflix documentary that...
She's asking herself, did I hit him?
Did I hit him?
Could I have hit him?
Did I probably hit him?
Did I maybe hit him?
So the fact that she's even admitting this, like, shows guilt.
I mean, if she knew for sure she didn't hit him and she had nothing to do with hitting him, why would she even say that?
Why would she be thinking those thoughts?
So play this clip right now.
I mean, I didn't think I hit him, but could I have clipped him?
Could I have tagged him in the knee and incapacitated him?
He didn't look morally wounded as far as I could see, or could I have done something that knocked him out, and in his drunkenness and in the cold, didn't come to again?
And this would have been the moment you dropped him off at the party.
Yeah, yeah, would have been the moment you dropped him off at the party.
And now here's a clip of her talking about just how much she'd drink that night.
Apparently she drank at least 10 drinks before she drove home and before this car accident supposedly happened.
And she's trying to downplay all the drinks she had.
But she does continue to talk about how much she drank.
The drink wasn't strong enough, so she was drinking doubles, etc.
Roll this clip.
And is the level of intoxication pretty high here for everybody?
It's happy.
Because you've had a lot to drink, right?
I wouldn't say.
I have like a normal amount.
Like a vodka tonic every 40 minutes.
Okay.
And so are you feeling like buzzed?
And I'm not judging.
I'm just trying to get it.
Yeah, but...
How many drinks have you had?
I had probably about four.
And not four that I completed either.
I didn't drink maybe more than a few sticks at the waterfall.
And four drinks you felt fine to dry?
Yes.
The final count of my alcohol intakes, probably about five or six or four.
The drinks.
That they were pouring me at McCarthy's, which is where I consumed most of the alcohol, was the weakest vodka tonic.
It tasted just like all soda water with lime.
Not that I need it to be a martini, but it might have had a splash of vodka in it.
So John, I said, John, this drink tastes like it has no vodka in it.
And he said, just get it.
Get a shot and mix it yourself.
So each drink was being counted as a double, so I would get a bi-botonic and then I would pour a shot into it, so that one comes too.
Frankly, it just felt like a regular cocktail.
It was just a really weak pour, so I asked for a shot.
For my taste, it just tasted like that's the normal strength of what a drink should be.
And here's some clips of her leaving voicemails on her boyfriend, who is probably dying at this time, on his phone.
She's leaving these nasty voicemails on his phone, accusing him of cheating, accusing him of all sorts of things, after she supposedly, either after or right before she hit him with her car.
But it shows just how out of it and batshit she was.
I'm f***ing crazy.
John, I'm here with your f***ing kid.
Nobody else will f***ing want f***ing perver.
Yeah, at one in the morning, I'm with your f***ing niece and nephew.
You f***ing perver.
You're a f***ing perver.
Thank you.
John, I'm going home.
I cannot believe you said anything.
I need to go home.
You are using me right now.
Another girl.
Keep sleeping next to me.
You're a loser.
I mean, that shows motive right there.
Okay, now here's another clip of just something so grotesque.
She is mocking the victim's mother.
So apparently after, you know, after he was in the hospital, after he died and was pronounced dead, the mother, his mother was talking to Karen about it.
And this is what Karen had to say.
And look at her facial expressions.
Look how she is just, it's like she just detests.
His mother is mocking him, who just lost her son just an hour ago.
Look how she talks about his mother.
His mother leans over the kitchen island and says to me, I think he looks like he got hit by a car.
He looks like he got hit by a car.
Now let's play that clip one more time just to get the full picture here.
His mother leans over the kitchen island and says to me, I think he looks like he got hit by a car.
He looks like he got hit by a car.
It's vile.
I mean, this is a true straight sociopath.
And now, here's another reaction of her talking about the witnesses.
All the witnesses that were there have been, she's brought her army out to continuously harass them, harass them at their work, harass them at home, harass and give death threats to their families.
I mean, she's like released this army of blind followers, of blind feminist followers on these poor witnesses who have already dealt with enough trauma.
And hear her reaction to that harassment of the witnesses.
Knowing my school.
Just like a lot of harassment.
Can I?
Sure.
It's impossible for me to have any sympathy for any of these witnesses.
Definitionally, is it harassing witnesses?
Yes, they're witnesses against me in my prosecution.
And is he yelling things at them?
And is he going up to their front doors and ringing the bell?
Yes.
But they shouldn't be witnesses.
They should have been suspects.
So...
It's not cut and dry.
Unbelievable.
And here's just some, you know, a couple clips of her diehard feminist supporters just parading around with free Karen signs and blindly, blindly, blindly backing this grotesque woman.
*Cheering*
So, you know, I know that a lot of people believe, just look at the facts.
Just look at the facts.
In a trial like this, in a case like this, just look at the facts.
And only if there's enough evidence can we find someone guilty.
And I understand and believe that, too.
But I think that there's also the evidence of how somebody acts, how someone behaves in a situation like this.
And there's normal behavior, how a normal person who is innocent would behave if they truly lost somebody that they love.
And there is a pattern of normal behavior for that.
And then there's abnormal behavior, sociopathic behavior.
Or the behavior of someone who's guilty, who committed this crime.
And people need to look to their body language.
People need to look to their facial expressions, the things they say, the things that they do after the loss of this person that was close to them.
And I think those should all count for something.
And this woman has acted so bizarrely, so grotesquely, so vile after losing her supposed boyfriend that she loves.
You know, mocking the witnesses, mocking his own mother, and living it up.
All this media attention she's getting, like she's a celebrity on Sex and the City, never expressing remorse, never expressing any sympathy or empathy.
It's all about her.
So I think, you know, the jury needs to look at that and say, this is the behavior of a guilty person.
This is a behavior of somebody.
Who could, who is capable of committing a crime like this and just walking away.
This is the behavior of somebody who is capable of doing this because they feel no guilt, no remorse, and they can act like this.
A normal person who's innocent does not act like this.
And I truly hope that this time around, the jury does see that and take all of that into account when making their decision.
And I hope that this vile feminist of a woman...
Is an example, makes an example of herself, and that she goes to prison for a long, long time.
And it silences all of her disgusting, nasty, feminist, feminist posse around the world, finally.
So this is the retrial of Karen Reed.
You can catch up with it on Court TV and some other, you know, YouTube and other places, and we'll be following it, and hopefully there will be a guilty verdict by next week.
All right, in other news, I wanted to go over this, too.
This is really grotesque, and I can't believe that this is happening as well, but it is.
There is a sex camp, a sex camp that's being promoted in Colorado, in Boulder, Colorado, for 6th to 8th graders.
6th to 8th graders, a sex camp.
And it's so nasty.
I just can't believe that people are...
That this is being promoted and this is something that they're trying to push for kids to enroll into.
Ugh, it just makes my skin crawl.
So let's review what this sex camp is.
It says free sex ed summer camp for 5th to 8th graders.
The Renee Crown Wellness Institute at Boulder and Boulder Valley Health Center are hosting a free sex ed summer camp for 5th to 8th graders in July.
5th to 8th graders.
Sex Ed Summer Camp is everything your camper won't always get to learn in school.
Woo!
Some topics will include bodies beyond the binary, the mysteries of puberty, feelings and how to navigate them, gender and sexuality, consent and communication, relationships, self-love, probably more like self-masturbation,
and so much more.
This justice-rooted camp will help guide your young people in their curiosities and navigate their changing bodies in this changing world.
Sex camp.
Okay, so now look to see who are the sponsors of this sex camp.
Let's check it out.
Go to the bottom of their website.
And it is none other than the Abortion Care Network.
The Abortion Care Network.
The NAF, National Abortion Federation.
Wow.
And Platinum Transparency Candid.
Wow, so these are who are sponsoring this sex camp.
How grotesque is that?
Abortion Care Network and National Abortion Federation.
So they're teaching young kids to have sex, promoting sex, promoting gay sex and queer sex.
And then only to also teach them about getting an abortion afterwards.
So have sex, then get an abortion.
Have sex, then get an abortion.
Have sex here.
The abortion care people are here to save the day for you.
That's who's sponsoring this teen and child sex camp in Boulder, Colorado.
It's unbelievable.
But that's what, you know, as parents, we need to be so vigilant.
And keep our eyes and ears open.
This is the type of thing that's everywhere.
It's all over the United States, but it only rears its ugly head when somebody spots it out, when somebody sees it, or it's floating around on social media, or it makes it into the media, which is rare.
These type of things are hidden right under our noses, and all we have to do is follow the money, look at the sponsors for many of them, and we can see right there what their sick and twisted, perverted agenda is.
Ugh, so disgusting.
All right, guys, we'll be right back right after these messages.

Why is Kingdom Fuel so much better than a lot of other supplements and nutritional supplements out there?
This is a really, really good shake.
My favorite, by the way, is the vanilla, but I've got the vanilla and the chocolate.
Well, Kingdom Fuel is not just a protein shake.
It has organic pea protein, full spectrum, full amino acid profile.
20 grams of protein, but it's also got added to it greens and reds.

It's amazing, great, and keeps me healthy.
Welcome back to Shots Fired.
Well, today we are going to be talking about losing our minds and not in the way of the leftist way, like somehow I've gone woke and I'm gone leftist.
No, I would never do that.
But I want to talk about something serious, which is the staggering issue of Alzheimer's in our country right now.
There's just a new study that's shown that Alzheimer's rates have reached shocking new high levels, and experts are now calling for a change.
Why is everybody losing their minds?
Why is everybody suddenly contracting, contracting Alzheimer's?
I'm not sure if that's even the right word.
Our expert who's going to weigh in here is somebody who definitely does have his full wits about him and has not lost his mind.
But he knows a lot about this matter and he's very knowledgeable in it.
And I want him to weigh in on why this is something that we all really need to be paying attention to right here in America and what we can do about it.
So with that being said, let's welcome our resident doctor, Dr. Mark Sherwood of Sherwood.tv.
To weigh in on this, why, Dr. Sherwood, why does everybody seem to be losing their minds here in America?
Well, I liked how you clarified in your opening which kind of your mind you're talking about.
But in all seriousness, some statistical databases indicate that currently 1 in 10 Americans are living with some form of early onset dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
1 in 10?
1 in 10. That goes even farther as far as people get older.
We're in their 70s, 80s, 90s, and we see perhaps increasing lifespans, but not so much increasing health spans.
Okay, so is that 1 in 10 statistic, is that 1 in 10 of any age group, or 1 in 10 like after?
Seniors?
Yes, yes, yes.
I was a little bit worried about that, but that's still a staggering number, right?
It's a lot, because you think about this from a caregiving status.
The person that is lost or is losing their mind is not necessarily suffering as much as the persons that are trying to care for them.
So the cost on this is not just with the individual care cost of a person, but it's the care wear and tear cost of the emotions of the persons caring for them, the caregivers, if you will.
And it's a pretty staggering, sobering thing to think about the idea of being alive.
But not even being aware of life.
I mean, think about that for a moment.
That's a pretty heavy statement or a pretty heavy thought, you know.
It's like, no one wants to lose your mind.
You'd rather lose your health than lose your mind.
And so, it is a big deal.
And there's several, you know, reasons, I suppose, for having it, you know.
And I thought about this a lot in my own life.
So, you know, we can talk about all those different reasons as well.
Yeah, it says here that 7 million, more than 7 million Americans.
Are affected by Alzheimer's right now.
That's just an incredible number.
And you're right.
You said you compared it to feeling like your physical body is there, but nothing's really going on upstairs.
The lights are on, but nobody's home type of thing.
So tell us why this is so staggering, why this is such a huge number, and what could be the culprits?
What could be possibly...
Well, there are several causes, Deanna, but I think number one that people need to really get their minds around, no pun intended there, is this, is that Alzheimer's disease is a type of dementia, and it has another name,
and the name explains it all, type 3 diabetes.
So if that's true, if we're talking about blood sugar issues or insulin resistance of the brain, which is what it is, Then we're now seeing the relationship between the increased risk of type 2 diabetes translating to the increased risk of type 3 diabetes.
And you've got a situation where it's increasing so rapidly in both fronts that it's going to create such a debilitating effect on our country.
You know, 7 million people right now.
What's it going to be in 10 years?
70 million?
And it's going to go on and on and on unless we get a hold of this thing right now.
We need to know also, too, that there's kind of three components, if you will, to this brain inflammation decay process.
And one is the blood sugar issues.
Two is the lack of hormone that are there as we age.
Three is heavy metal toxicity.
So those are the three main components.
And so when you're talking about the brain, a major fatty organ, again, accumulating toxins, which is stored in the fat.
This is a big deal, and many people deal with two of those three, or if not three of those three.
Absolutely.
I mean, what you said hit home about it being basically type 3 diabetes.
Yeah.
That makes a lot more sense.
Typically, when a younger person hears the term Alzheimer's, we think, oh, it just happens to some people when they get old.
And it's kind of the luck of the draw.
It just happens to some people, not others.
For whatever reason, but we typically don't think that there's something that we might be doing with our diet or with our lifestyle that could be causing that, especially something that could have brought on diabetes or diabetes symptoms.
That's right.
And, you know, we talked about other angles of this and, you know, the disease increases in our country because of the different things.
But this is an area we don't talk about.
So when I was...
Reading that article, I thought, you know, this is profound because even we saw, and I'm not making fun of a human being, but you look back at the past president, and I use that term loosely, I think that's probably what we saw, my opinion.
And I'm not making fun of the human side of that, but that shows you how debilitating this type of brain disorder can be or brain inflammation, and it's not okay.
And it's no respect for persons.
But I'll tell you this, interestingly enough, women are eight times more likely to get Alzheimer's dementia than men.
And probably a reason why is because when a lady reaches menopause, she loses the ability to produce hormones.
And a component, a key component of Alzheimer's disease, Deanna, is not having adequacy of hormones, namely estradiol and testosterone.
So that's why that is.
And so we're seeing now...
It's increasing higher rates in women, but we're now seeing it occur in men too.
And I think another angle behind this that people need to consider is the massive use of statin drugs.
If statin drugs knock off cholesterol, as this concept believing that I believe is false, that cholesterol causes heart disease, cholesterol also makes hormones.
So if you can't make hormones, is the rampant use and ubiquitous use of statin drugs creating more I'll let people think about that conclusion.
Well, it's really interesting.
Yeah, and also really frightening that somebody that is literally supposed to be leading the country, you know, the United States of America, has a mind that has deteriorated to that level.
Nobody should be leading anything of value when their mind is in that level.
But it did hit home with a lot of elderly.
And they thought, wow, I don't want to end up like this.
I don't want to be like this.
So, again, to me, it strikes me as kind of hopeful in a way, but daunting that there's things that we could be doing with our diet, with our lifestyle.
It's not just the luck of the draw that's causing this.
It's not.
Yeah.
You look at these homes, these retirement homes.
Yes.
What kind of food do they feed them?
You guessed it, folks.
It's going to be processed foods, high sugar.
Like jail food.
It is.
It's terrible.
So we're almost promoting it.
Wow.
There's a genetic component out there, and it's a SNP, a single-nuclear polymorphism called apolipoprotein E4.
ApoE4.
And people need to know that.
That's known as the Alzheimer's gene.
But just because you get that with one copy or two, Does not mean you will get Alzheimer's disease.
And just because you don't have it does not mean you won't.
So, yes, there's increased susceptibilities, but there's more to it.
And I think it's probably environmental.
And I don't think, I'll make a bold statement here, I don't think we need to have that.
This is one of those, like, type 2 diabetes.
Disease processes I don't think we need to have.
I don't believe it's necessary.
I don't believe it's plausible.
I don't believe it's explainable.
It's not genetic.
We need to eliminate this just like type 2 diabetes and get it off the planet.
Wow, that is a bold statement.
It's something that unfortunately, just like cancers, just like diabetes, our society has taken for granted.
We've normalized it.
Oh, it just happens when you get older.
It just happens to a lot of people when they get older.
And that's a sad fact that we've normalized it to this degree.
Tell me a little bit more about the heavy metal aspect of the contributing factor to Alzheimer's.
So when you think about toxins in general, in this case, we're talking about heavy metals.
The body has a detoxification system, so when it sees something, it's not supposed to be there.
It can convert it from one form, which is a form that can get absorbed and taken into and stored in the body, into a form that can be eliminated.
It goes from a fat-soluble product to a water-soluble product for elimination to the detox pathways.
But if our detox pathways don't work, and our bowels don't work, and our GI system doesn't work, they get recirculated.
So there again you have this...
Interesting dichotomy.
We have poor gut function because of poor diet, which leads to poor detox function.
And then we live in a world with all this heavy metal toxicity that's around.
And I know people are going, well, what about aluminum?
Well, yes.
What about mercury?
Yes.
I could go on and on with that.
And so heavy metals are everywhere.
And when we start getting this inundation with these metals, And the lack of ability to detoxify, they get stored.
And what is the most fatty organ we have?
The brain.
And this is important.
When you have leaky gut, which is poor diet, it also gets across the brain.
We have leaky brain.
So we start getting these toxins leaked around and getting stored in the brain.
So it is a really, for the sake of sounding...
It's a holistic type of approach that has to be done to address this disease process because it doesn't have to happen.
But we need to know that all drugs that we've tried to come up with, such as drugs that would eliminate amyloid beta plaques or even try to mitigate tau protein tangles, which are sort of these maladies that are associated with that,
they've failed.
So obviously there's more to it than just a drug.
And so there's so much here within this disease process that makes me sad on one hand, but makes me hopeful on the other.
And so to talk about it, people need to get a hold of it.
And I think there's some things you can do about it, you know, from the standpoint of all cause, you know, lifestyle things right now for your elderly people.
Okay.
And before you hit the elderly phase too, are there things that you could do as a younger person to...
You know, avoid or potentially decrease the chances of getting Alzheimer's.
Let's talk about all of those solutions.
Yeah, 100%.
So there's several things to think about.
Number one, we need to eat well.
And I don't want to sound like a broken record, but if type 2 diabetes contributes and or is type 3 diabetes, I'll just let people think about that for a moment.
If that's true, Then don't get type 2 diabetes.
How do you avoid type 2 diabetes?
Don't eat processed foods.
So if you're 12 or 82, that's a call to action for you right now.
The earlier you start, the better results you have.
I think as well, I've tested this marker, which is fatty acids, our omega-3 index.
I've tested it for 15 years.
Deanna, 100% of the people I've tested have been deficient.
Guess where fatty acids are important for them?
Brain health, reducing inflammation in the brain.
We need three to four grams every day, so whether you're 12 or 82, you need to get your fatty acids up there.
That's important.
You've got to get your sleep because when you sleep, and older people sleep less, I don't know if you know that, but they do because their pineal gland shrinks and they think they need four hours of sleep.
No, you don't.
They need to get melatonin in there and sleep more because that opens up.
...the brain cleaning pathway called a glymphatic drainage system.
So their body can really get these things out of there if given the opportunity.
You can get them out of there and not let them get in there, and you can make sure you don't get inflammation in the brain and even insulin resistance to the brain, and even take your hormones, right, and do those things.
It makes you go, this can be avoidable.
And the avoidance starts right now with education from the young.
Application in the young, and then, of course, application in your older folks.
Yeah, absolutely.
Now, my mind went to something else, too, just trying to find links.
We already know that the autism rate for children and young adults have just exploded over the years exponentially.
Now one in at least every 35 children has autism, and that has been linked to childhood vaccinations and the 82 different vaccines that children get pumped with by the time they're two years old.
So I wonder, too, I want to throw this at you, if kind of almost the adult version of autism or some symptoms around that, such as Alzheimer's, absent-mindedness, forgetfulness, Just kind of,
you know, neurological issues, if that could potentially be accelerated or exacerbated by adults who get regular flu vaccines, shingles, all those other kinds of vaccines who also have heavy metals in them, could that potentially be a contributing factor?
I think so.
Thinking that as a person gets older, the amount of those vaccines have accumulated, of course.
And, of course, they probably had less over time in a grouping than children are having now.
But nonetheless, that contributing indication of triggering the immune system over and over and over again in an already immune-compromised state, I certainly think that can be a contributor.
I'm so shocked to think about what this could be 20, 30 years from now with the current group.
Yes.
Of young people.
What's going to happen to them when they get older?
Because even though it's the autism rate, most of the autism spectrum disorder young folks, children, are not eating well.
And so you're talking about this situation that's going to continue to perpetuate going forward.
And it's like a train off the tracks going the wrong way.
And as I've said many times, the losing of the mind.
Losing of your health.
I mean, do these things need to happen?
I don't think so.
We've got the best resources here in this country, but yeah, with our resources that we have, which are absolutely outstanding, you would think we would do better.
We need to reallocate the resources with repositioned education.
And then at that point in time, we need to swallow our pride and realize that our system, the way it's set up, is not working.
At all well for our health.
And that doesn't mean that we've been failures, but that means the approach has failed.
And we need to change the approach.
And if we don't change the approach, we're confirming Einstein's theory.
Do the same thing over and over again.
We're getting insane results.
And I don't want to do that anymore.
Yeah.
Amen.
Well, hopefully, RFK also sounds the alarm on the staggering rate of Alzheimer's, too, and, you know, talks about how important it is to measure
Yeah, I'm hoping so.
I think he's going to do a good job, and I think he is doing a good job, and I think we've got to continue as the citizenry, if you will, the people, to continue to speak up about it.
If we don't speak up about it, it won't happen, because our voice has to be heard again.
And I think that people with this subject matter today, Everyone can appreciate the concept of not losing your mind.
I think everybody can.
And if we just embrace that and took that step forward and continue to do our parts with this thing, I think we can make some things happen with it.
Absolutely.
Well, thank you for talking to us about why this is so important, why we need to pay attention to it, and why we need to get started young, you know, even though if being old seems like it's 100 years away from us.
It's now that we need to start these healthy practices, healthy lifestyle practices, etc.
