Hey, guys.
Well, I'm here with my favorite doctor, Dr. Mark Sherwood, here today.
And guess what I just got?
It is a giant box of a Kingdom Crunch cereal.
His new line of cereal called Kingdom Crunch, and this particular flavor is acai bowl.
And let me tell you, it is so, so, so, so, so tasty and delicious.
But besides from it being so tasty, I have Dr. Sherwood here to tell us why it's so good for you, too, and why it's so amazing and should be in everyone's cover.
So what's up with this incredible cereal that you sent me that I can't stop eating, Dr. Sherwood?
Well, many times when we hear the word cereal, we think unhealthy, poisonous, chemical, carcinogenic.
Shouldn't be eating it.
That is quite the opposite.
High protein, zero added sugars, organic ingredients, and healthy fats such as medium-trained triglycerides.
Deanna, that should be in everyone's cupboard, in every child's mouth, every day.
That is truly healthy and life-giving for kids.
I recommend it all the way.
Not because I made it, but because it solves a real problem in today's world.
Excuse me, I can't stop eating a butt.
I gave it to my son, Maverick, who also loves cereal, but I don't want him to eat cereal except for this.
This is really, really good.
It's really tasty.
It actually tastes like real acai in your mouth.
And it's packed full of all these nutrients and no sugar, right?
No added sugar?
That's insane.
How is it so sweet then?
Yeah, we use stevia, monk fruit, and some allulose there.
All of which, get this.
Are diabetic friendly, they won't raise blood sugar, which is another benefit.
I've had people ask me, can I eat that if I'm diabetic?
Yes, you can.
And you can fix your diabetes.
Yay!
Awesome.
Well, this is so good.

Welcome back to Shots Fired.
Well, we've talked a lot on this show about the very corrupt, evil, and grisly organization that goes by the name of CPS, Child Protective Services.
But who exactly are they protecting other than their own interests?
And how disgusting and evil and nefarious this organization really is.
How they basically kidnap children from loving parents and loving homes, throw them into the cold, abusive foster care system where they're often sexually abused, raped, molested, sold into sex trafficking rings, and so much more.
And a mother or a parent is fighting and fighting to get them back, jumping through hoops, doing anything to get them back.
And of course, their efforts are futile.
So, Sean McMillan is an attorney who is just so brave and so awesome.
He's been on this show a couple times before, but we're having him back.
He is an attorney who specifically fights the corrupt and evil CPS.
Yes, he fights for parents' constitutional rights because, of course, CPS likes to strip them away or pretend that they don't have any.
He fights this organization, and he's been doing this for decades.
This is his forte.
And I love that he has chosen this.
As his mission, as his battle cry, because absolutely this horrible organization needs to be taken down.
And he's here joining us because he's got some news on this front that he wants to share with us, particularly how CPS often will take your children and then they could do anything with them, medically, including force vaccinating them.
Yes, including force vaccinating them, totally against the parents' will.
So he's got some news to share on that front and more.
Sean McMillan, always great to have you back on.
Thanks for joining us again.
How are you in this crazy fight?
Thanks for having me again.
Absolutely.
It's always great to have you back on because you're just chock full of all these stories.
I mean, what an epic battle to fight.
And what a horrible, disgusting organization to take down.
I mean, this is really sort of a David and Goliath battle.
And we don't have enough attorneys like you that are truly fighting.
For parents and for children.
So thank you for doing this.
Well, thank you for that.
And yeah, it really is a, that's a good description of David versus Goliath type battle.
I mean, the government has all the resources in the world.
And even though many of the CPS agencies are administered by county governments, there are several where the state administers the program.
Funded by the same federal schemes.
And, you know, the federal government, they just print money.
You see it.
Right.
Just a farce.
So it's like the resource dynamic there.
You have a parent who maybe isn't necessarily poor, but many are, and definitely cannot afford to throw the type of resources the government will throw at one of these things.
They just can't.
They can't fight that fight.
These are important battles, and some of them sometimes seem a little bit esoteric.
But people need to understand that even though the issue might seem small in the grand scheme of things, like what we're going to talk about here today is medical decision-making, the right of a parent to make medical decisions for their child.
Absolutely.
Okay.
You know, when your child's taken, From you, your right to make the medical decision might be like the smallest concern you have among all the other things you're dealing with to try to get your child back.
But it's an important aspect.
Well, not in these days because there's so many people that have, parents that have chosen, for instance, just in light of, you know, the COVID era that we're in, to not vaccinate their child, to not even give them.
Not only the COVID vaccine, but the childhood CDC recommended 82 different vaccines.
And that should be their right.
But basically what you're saying is if CPS or DSF takes your child from you, then they could take that child and force, and often do, force vaccinate them.
Give them whatever vaccine, however many vaccines.
Even if they've had it before, that's something that they often do.
Right, right.
And in fact, in this particular case that we're going to talk about, the child was on a delayed vaccination schedule.
Mom's not totally anti-vax.
I mean, like polio and some of the more serious childhood diseases, you know, whether you're anti-vax or not, you have to do the balancing and the risk versus reward.
And yeah, I don't want my kids to have polio, right?
So that's something I'm going to take the risk.
And this was one of those parents.
So the child had received some of the common childhood vaccinations.
He was just on a delayed vaccination schedule, and she was very involved in that.
And CPS came into their lives, took all three of her children.
And basically forced her to sign what they call their parental consent form.
And it's this vague rambling form that doesn't really describe exactly what it is that's going to happen.
They just say, you know, if your child, something emergency happens, we're going to take care of the emergency, but all these other things may happen and we'll try to get a hold of you.
Something like that.
Wow.
Yeah.
And what they tell the parent, they actually coerce the parent.
They say, hey, if you don't sign this thing.
Then we're just going to go immediately into the judge.
We're going to explain to the judge that you're being totally uncooperative, and that it's just not going to go well for you, and the judge will give us an order to do whatever we want.
So that's the threat that the parents, at least in San Diego County, and I know in many other places this same sort of thing happens.
I have cases all over the place.
So they're coercing them, and they're already under extreme duress when they're feeling like they need to sign this, in general, this waiver, right?
Yeah, well, I mean, think about it.
The social worker takes your kid.
They essentially have a gun to your head, right?
They have your child.
Yeah, that's the thing.
And they say, hey, if you don't sign this form, I'm just going to pull the trigger.
Yeah.
What are you going to do?
Right.
You're going to sign the form.
It's not much of a choice, yeah.
Yeah, I mean, it doesn't matter what the form says.
You're going to sign it.
So that's sort of the layup for the situation when now CPS has your child.
They've got ostensibly your consent.
And what they were doing or what they are doing currently here in this particular case in San Diego County is the county takes the position that now that you've signed the form as the parent, we can do whatever we want.
So she had the newborn that was set up to have his circumcision done, and county canceled that.
Didn't even talk to her about it.
Just canceled it.
So that's done.
So she had a newborn taken from her?
Yeah.
Was this someone that was like a complete drug addict, or was there something really serious?
I mean, how did she get a newborn and two other kids taken from her?
She's a licensed, certified midwife, man.
She's solid.
And, you know, her husband's in the Marine Corps, and just really solid, salt-of-the-earth people, good family.
So no valid reason to get their kids taken from her?
No, no, none at all.
It's just that a friend who she sort of had a little dispute going on with, Out of spite, had called in a referral, and the social services came out to investigate, and she didn't give them enough respect when they were banging on her door.
And I think we've talked about this.
Yeah.
You know, cops, they can beat you, they can shoot you, they can mace you.
They have all kinds of things they can do to escalate when you're not cooperating.
Where social services, all they can really do, they don't have guns, they can't kill you.
But they can't escalate.
They can take your kid.
And that's really their only means of escalation.
So anyway, that's what happened here.
She wasn't sufficiently deferential at the first contact, so they took her kid.
Please take my kid.
Okay, let me be compliant.
I mean, again, not that many people would do that.
So faulty, you know, false pretenses, bogus accusations, great family.
And gets her newborn and two other kids taken from her.
Newborn and two other kids.
So the newborn, he doesn't get his circumcision.
Now she got all the kids back.
She got the newborn and the middle child back at the next hearing, which was two weeks later.
And then the other child, it took a little bit longer, mainly because the social services supervisor, you know, had a dispute
mom. They kind of got into it.
So the supervisor said, hey, look, you're never getting this kid back till I say so.
And yeah, it just went.
the important part of the story.
Yeah, okay.
But it's a nasty case.
But what they did is they canceled the circumcision.
So now this poor kid, the doctor won't circumcise him until he's five.
That's odd.
You remember things after like three or four.
Right.
And I can tell you right now as an adult, if my mom had had me circumcised at five, I would hate her for the rest of my life.
Yeah.
You're going to remember that.
Once the pain meds wear off, you're going to experience it.
There's a reason that we circumcise our kids when they're a week old, right?
And so anyway, that's the future this poor kid faces.
But that was one medical decision that was done.
They ceased all breastfeeding.
That's another medical decision.
You know, when your doctor advises you to do something, and it's very well established in the scientific literature that breastfeeding is highly beneficial for kids.
So that's a medical decision.
Social services cut that off.
For the two older kids, social services went and said, wow, hey, let's just vaccinate them.
They didn't talk to mom.
They didn't look at their medical records.
Had they done so, they would have realized that, you know, a lot of these vaccinations they were about to give the kids had already been taken care of.
But they didn't bother with any of that.
14 vaccinations all in one dose, both kids.
And, yeah, craziness.
And so we sued them.
You know, obviously, that's how we got here.
And there's a pretrial.
It's called a motion for summary judgments.
That's where you come in and you ask the judge.
You give the judge the evidence, and you ask the judge to make the legal decision.
Is this right or is this wrong?
It's very binary.
It's either a yes or no question.
So we brought the waiver form that our client was coerced into signing to the court, and we asked the judge, is this constitutional or not?
And, of course, the county had a very spirited response, and one of their arguments, it was actually funny.
From my perspective, it was funny.
They said, if we have to tell every parent what we're going to do for every child that we have in custody, it would cause such an administrative burden that we couldn't take care of any of these kids.
Interesting.
Ironic.
It's like, oh, I get it.
So my constitutional rights, we get to set those aside for the administrative convenience of the government.
Wow.
Yeah, that's basically what the judge said, too, is, wow, what, what, what, what?
And so she blew them out on everything.
And across the board, we won on the summary judgment motion.
And their waiver form is unconstitutional.
The position they take, that once a parent signs that waiver form, the county can do whatever they want medically.
They can cut parents out of all medical decision-making.
That is unconstitutional.
And, yeah, so all we have to do now is depose the doctors, prove up that the kids actually had these things done.
That's the fact that we have to prove.
And then a jury's going to get to decide, okay.
How much money does the county have to pay for doing this?
Wow, I'm actually surprised.
Yeah, it's a really big deal.
It's a really big win.
I mean, I'm kind of surprised that this happened in California, but I guess San Diego can sometimes be a little bit more...
It was kind of dicey, actually, because it was a new judge, and she's only been on the bench for about a year, and the last time I'd been in front of her on a different case, she was like...
Highly aggressive.
It was scary.
I mean, I've been practicing for, what, 24 years.
I've never had a judge, like, so aggressively against me, especially on a constitutional issue.
That's all we do is parental rights, constitutional issues.
So the other case that's in there on it, it's a constitutional issue.
That's important, I would think.
And she's just really aggressive.
So when we went in on this one, I was kind of like holding my breath, going, okay.
What's going to happen here?
Yeah.
And I was actually very surprised.
She's a Biden appointee, and typically the conservative judges are more in tune or more attuned to these parental rights issues than the liberal appointees.
And so it was very, very surprising and actually very refreshing to see what she did with the issue.
I was...
Yeah.
Judges are so unpredictable.
Yeah, my opinion of her changed dramatically with this particular opinion.
And in fact, it's so well written, it ended up being published as an F-sub, which is citable.
It's not binding on other courts, but it is very persuasive, and it's a citable decision.
So she put a lot of effort into it.
Wow.
So that could be, so then this case could be really...
An important landmark case that could set a precedent, right, for other people, other families, parents to sue over?
Right.
Wow.
That's how the building blocks of case law go.
What's going to happen is if you get an FSUP, it's a district court opinion typically, but it's well enough analyzed and well enough put together that the system is willing to rely on it.
As persuasive authority.
The next step then is if the Ninth Circuit faces a similar issue or maybe the county stupidly appeals this thing.
Then we get a Ninth Circuit published decision supporting, you know, what we're doing here, basically affirming the trial court.
That is binding, at least in the circuit.
And then as a sister circuit, it would be persuasive authority for other appellate districts in the country.
So yeah, it's an important first step.
It's really good.
Kind of keep you going.
You know, for every win that we have, and the people online, they get on Google, they see stuff, I get thousands of calls.
They only see the stuff the media picks up, and the media only picks up the wins.
Yeah.
So people don't really understand that for every win they see that the media picked up, I've got 10 losses where we just, you know, got the crap beat out of us.
Wow.
It gets a little disheartening sometimes.
Yeah, definitely.
You know?
But then you get these, and it makes it worth it.
And in this case, what were the ages of the other two older children that had their 14 vaccinations?
At the time, it was six and three.
Wow.
Yeah, and they just loaded them up.
Just loaded them up.
And the six-year-old, the social worker supervisor, I told you in the very beginning that she sort of got into it with mom, so there was a big personality flash.
The social worker supervisor set up the appointment, told the foster provider, hey, don't tell mom about this.
Just go do it.
Wow.
Yeah, it's just vindictive.
It's just a vindictive, unspirited move.
Right.
Yeah.
And was the mom pretty upset when she found out that they had 14 vaccinations?
Well, yeah, she was really upset, mainly because, number one, they hid it from her, like, intentionally.
And number two, he already had a bunch of the vaccinations, the polio, the mumps, rubella.
He already had the dangerous stuff.
And the vaccination itself is dangerous.
There is some risk associated with the vaccine itself.
So they don't even care if they've already had them.
They won't even look at your record.
It's now becoming protocol for them once they take your children to go vaccinate them.
Yeah.
Wow.
That's part of their process.
In fact, that was one of the things that the county argued is, hey, look, for the safety of the other kids in the system, it's important to vaccinate these kids.
Well, shit.
What about the parent?
What about if the kid's already vaccinated?
They gave him TB tests too, but that wasn't, I mean, you know, that's a problem, but it's not as bad as the vaccinations.
Yeah, well, yeah, exactly.
Especially if it does seem like these days that parents who are against vaccines are becoming targeted by CPS and by other people.
Because all it takes is, you know, someone at their school or...
A neighbor or a friend or someone that doesn't like their political views.
They think they're this crazy right-wing anti-vaxxer.
And then they say, that's a reportable issue to CPS.
That's child abuse or child neglect, which is crazy enough what half of the country thinks at this point, that people who are anti-vaxxers are, you know, abusive or negligent.
Right.
That's crazy.
That's scary.
Yeah, and the schools, you mentioned the schools, they are a big deal.
You know, they require certain vaccinations or a waiver.
In California, you can no longer even have a waiver.
You have to have a vaccination.
Wow.
And they'll report you.
And if you don't have it, you get into a run-in with the school nurse or teacher, whatever, you don't want to vaccinate, they will call it in to CPS and you're going to have this fight.
And then if you're a parent that then says, hey, I'm going to...
Homeschool my kids.
They're coming after you.
And then they're coming after you for homeschooling, right?
Then you're another target if you're homeschooling.
Yeah, it's...
I don't know what to tell people other than to, you know, be aware of the dangers associated with these people.
Yeah.
And where you can, you know, avoid conflict, you know, because it's the people you get in conflict with.
Where you take a strong stand, adamant stand, face-to-face, those are the people that are going to turn you in.
Like school teachers, doctors, if you don't like what they're saying or doing, just smile and take it in, listen.
Don't get in a conflict with them right there on the spot.
That's what's going to trigger a call.
Yeah, and you don't want CPS in your life.
Once they're in your life, they're like...
Yeah.
It's so hard to get rid of them, right?
Yeah, it's hard.
Once you're in their eyes, like the eye of Sauron.
Once it's tuned in on you, you're in it.
And you kind of want to keep it wandering, looking at other people.
Yeah.
And that's why even like, you know, we have to be careful when this, if this next pandemic really does come, how you interact with public.
You know, in public, when you have small kids with you, sometimes, you know, they might report you for just not wearing masks and not having your children masked up in public or making, again, making a big stance publicly about being anti-vaxxers or something.
So it's just something parents to keep in mind.
Think about it.
Is this really worth it or maybe should I keep my beliefs to myself so I avoid these Nazis?
That sounds so bad.
I mean, that approach, that attitude, even though, I mean, it's an attitude and approach I'm espousing, but it's really, it's antithetical to the American way of life, you know, the American ethos.
Right.
That's not what we're about.
I mean, America, it's really a big in-your-face country.
I mean, that's the way we started, right?
And then to just hear myself sitting here saying, hey, look, You know, avoid conflict.
Avoid dispute.
Don't, you know, with your doctors, with your teachers, with your neighbors, you know, you don't need to get in conflict with them.
Just accept what they're saying and walk away.
It just sounds so un-American.
I know.
But you have to protect yourself.
You have to protect your kids and these people.
Every child represents a dollar sign.
Or a lever of power.
It's a way that the government can influence people and control people.
And it's a very, very powerful way to do it.
I mean, if they have your kid, you're going to do whatever you need to do.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
I mean, I read these horror stories of people.
There's a lot of online forums or Facebook groups of parents who have had their kids taken away by CPS and they're fighting and fighting.
And some of them says, Say they know that their child is being raped and they still won't open up an investigation.
Or they know that, you know, their child is calling them saying that they're being horribly abused or something.
And then not only can the parent not see them still, but the CPS caseworker will say, will then ban phone calls, ban further contact, which is just so cruel and unusual.
Really?
You see that all the time where, you know, particularly with the older kids, you know, 10 years old, 12 years old, where they're able to communicate.
They really do know the difference between right and wrong.
And they'll be complaining even to their worker, even to their worker, not just to their parent.
And then where the, you know, the complaints coming through the parent to the worker, those get just totally shined on.
But the kid complaining to the worker.
And then the worker will ignore it and shut them down, and the kid will go on for months and months being beaten or molested or not fed.
I've had them where they start hoarding food from school because they're, you know, the refrigerator in the freaking box are locked.
Yeah, and I don't really understand the thinking behind all that, but it does happen.
The caseworkers are a different type of evil.
Oh, yeah.
Social workers, my ass.
Yeah, they're not.
And I'll tell you what, most of them, you talk about social workers.
Well, that's a profession, right?
Social work is a profession.
And it, frankly, is, generally speaking, an honorable profession.
They're licensed, licensed clinical social workers, right?
Mm-hmm.
Well, when you talk about social workers, that's- Yeah, like they're supposed to be that way.
Yeah, it's supposed to be.
Most of the government child protection workers
They're not social workers.
They just call themselves social workers.
They're not.
They don't have licenses.
Most of them don't even have a master's in social work.
And yeah, these are the people that we are giving the power to come in.
And a lot of them don't even have kids.
Yeah, that's the crazy thing.
They don't even have kids themselves.
And they're taking kids away from parents.
They've never changed a diaper.
They've never fed a baby.
They have no idea.
And then they're passing judgment on you and the way that you raise your kids or what you teach your kids.
It should be illegal.
Yeah, it's really bad.
Anyway, that's why I'm doing what I'm doing.
Nobody else is doing it.
Somebody's doing it.
Yeah.
It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it.
Thank you for that.
And I love your YouTube channel, too, by the way.
You post a lot of your depositions on there.
And the way that you grill these so-called social workers is just incredible.
And you can really see their soulless spirit, you know, when you grill them like that.
It doesn't seem like I hate them, does it?
No, it doesn't seem like you hate them, but it does.
I do, but I try to hide that.
Yeah, exactly.
I mean, they get people to hate them all their own based on their answers.
I mean, you do a really great job of showing people who they really, really are on these depositions on your YouTube channel.
Absolutely.
Thank you.
Sometimes it's hard to be calm.
I bet.
I just want to shake them and throw things at them.
I don't know how you're that commentation.
Oh, it's amazing.
Yeah, of course.
Well, thank you so much.
Of course.
Thanks for sharing this incredible story.
And win.
You know, this is a great win.
This is a great achievement.
So this is exciting.
Yeah, this one's a big deal.
Yeah, it's a really, really big deal.
I'm sure we'll be hearing more from it.
And you're protecting parents and families and children by the day, every fight.
So thank you for that.
Tell everybody again where they can find you and follow you.
And of course, subscribe to your awesome YouTube channel.
Sure.
The YouTube, we're Caps and Stems Law.
That's C-A-P-S-N-S-T-E-M-S-L-A-W.
It's on YouTube.
Or you can just do a search on Sean McMillan Networks, too.
And that'll get you to our website.
That'll get you to the YouTube.
And, you know, we have a Patreon.
Oh, perfect.
Okay.
What we do there, it's actually kind of interesting because there's a lot of parents where we get calls and they can't find attorneys and I can't help them.
They're all over the country.
Wow.
And so what we do is we post on Patreon.
In PDF form, all of our work products.
So the complaints, the motions, the opposition, basically the entire public docket.
Yeah.
So they can get to it and they can see, okay, well, how did, like this case that we're talking about right now, if somebody has that type of issue, they can get on there and say, okay, well, how did he do that?
And it's all right there.
It's like a cookbook.
You know, you just kind of look at it and you can get a good idea.
You know, what works.
Because we don't cherry pick it.
We publish everything.
The stuff I lost on.
Awesome.
You're going to know why I lost.
Yeah, that's cool.
Don't do that.
Don't make these mistakes.
Awesome.
Yeah, don't make these mistakes.
But the stuff we win there is there too.
Okay.
And then we have office hours, you know, if there's a subscriber every Sunday at 5 o 'clock.
And this is mostly for new attorneys that are getting into this area, and there are a few.
And for parents that are litigating their own cases, I'll set aside an hour every Sunday where if they have questions, they need help on, you know, a particular problem, we'll just kind of get on Discord.
On video, video and audio, and just have an active conversation about, okay, well, what's your problem?
How do we fix it?
How do we get around that?
Yeah.

Why is Kingdom Fuel so much better than a lot of other supplements and nutritional supplements out there?
This is a really, really good shake.
My favorite, by the way, is the vanilla, but I've got the vanilla and the chocolate.
Well, Kingdom Fuel is not just a protein shake.
It has organic pea protein, full spectrum, full amino acid profile.
20 grams of protein, but it's also got added to it greens and reds.
A lot of people buy those separately.
It's got vitamins and minerals, insoluble and insoluble fiber.
That is a complete meal, and it's under $5 per serving.
People use three scoops.
But guess what?
Most people don't.
They use one or two.
So you're talking about a full, complete meal.
The shelf life is two years if you don't open it.
Pretty cool.
Oh yeah, absolutely.
And if we're in any kind of apocalypse, you can pretty much eat this all day.
You can.
And the cereal.
Really, really healthy.
Alright, cool.
And guys, you can find the Kingdom Fuel line of products at Dr. Sherwood's website.
Of course, Sherwood.tv.
And use promo code SHOTS to get 30% off.
Again, that's promo code SHOTS to get 30% off.
I love this shake.
It's amazing, great, and keeps me healthy.
Welcome back to Shots Fired.
Well, we're talking here in our money and finance segment with Joseph Lombardi.
Joseph Lombardi is the owner of Ironhawk Financial.
He's a wealth and finance manager.
Let's talk about our money and how it can possibly be used against us.
Can it make us richer and wealthier?
And how should we be managing our money basically like the wealthy do and like the elites do?
So, Joseph Lombardi is coming here to talk about it and what's kind of coming down the pipe that we really need to be looking out for as far as money and finance goes and hopefully get more money into our wallets.
So, thanks so much for joining us again, Joseph Lombardi.
How are you?
Good.
How are you, Dana?
I'm good.
Thank you.
So, everybody wants to know, of course, about how to be wealthier, how to save more money, and how to...
Maximize the money that we do earn and that we do save.
You're a best-selling author as well as, you know, wealth manager.
Give a little breakdown of your best-selling books real quick.
Yeah, so I'm an author of There's a Better Way Than a 401k, Being Your Own Bank, and Long-Term Care Without Long-Term Pain.
Awesome.
Okay.
So There's a Better Way Than Your 401k.
Now everybody seems to kind of think about their 401k as like their safety net, you know, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that they've been saving and squirreling away money towards.
Tell us a little bit more about why it's actually not the best way to go.
So when you invest in a 401k, you're actually investing with two other parties.
Those parties are the U.S. government and the other party is Wall Street.
There has been a secret handshake collusion made about 30 years ago, which can easily be documented, where Wall Street contacted, lobbied the U.S. Congress and senators and said, hey, there's billions of dollars here.
Why don't we get our hands on that and we steal or take or earn some of that through fees?
So over the decades, you know, there's been 12B1 fee, Class A share fund fee, money management fee, annual account fee, mutual fund expense fee, RAP fee.
So when you understand that the 401k was basically designed where Wall Street is getting rich off your money, and then the government is getting rich off your money, people would not be funding it at all.
but it is a mainstream type of product or avenue to invest your money in.
And it's an easy peasy click of a button.
Maybe your employer gives you some free money
So why would your employer give you free money if there wasn't anything in it for him?
So it's people don't understand me being from the background of selling 401ks to companies.
The value add to the business owner, the retention, the write-off, the discounted fees, the more money people contribute, the higher money's in there, the lower fees for the owner.
And then being on the other end, what I'm dealing with, individuals that work at companies and they're like, oh, I have a million dollars in my 401k.
I'm a millionaire.
It's like, no, you're not.
You're holding $500,000 that the government's going to steal from you when you retire in the form of income taxes.
So basically the 401k was a major lie that was told to the general public.
Because what do people who have 401ks believe, right?
First of all, they believe that when I take a distribution, I get tax savings.
You do not get tax savings, you get tax deferral.
So that dollar I write off today is going to grow with just inflation.
So that dollar, which I don't save the full dollar, right?
A write-off is a dollar for dollar.
It's off your percentage of your tax bracket.
Well, most people who have 401ks aren't in high tax brackets.
They're making $40,000 a year, $50,000 a year, $60,000, $70,000.
Maybe they have a kid or two which have deductions.
So they're in like a 10% tax bracket, $15,000, maybe $22,000 if their wife or spouse or husband makes higher income, right?
So for that dollar, let's say you're a high-income owner.
I save a quarter, right?
Now that dollar is going to grow to $10 in 30 years from now, just with inflation, let alone if you had a good management.
And you're probably invested in a target fund.
Those things are garbage, but everybody owns them.
So I'm in a target fund.
I have 10 times my money.
I'm all happy.
Well, the lie that was sold is what?
I'm going to work, and then when I retire, I'm going to be in a way lower tax bracket, right?
So, well, what does that mean?
That means I'm going to have a quality of life in my 40s, my 50s, my 60s, my best quality of life ever.
And then I'm going to retire and live in poverty.
So I'm in a lower tax bracket.
That's the dream that is sold to you.
That's why nobody's retiring.
That's why they have the greeters at Walmart.
It's called the Welcome to Walmart strategy.
Because with my Social Security and my 401k distributions, I am in a way lower tax bracket.
But I'm broke.
Wow.
That's such a scam, just like so many other lies the government tells us.
It's insane, right?
And we are trained on instant gratification, which is how they snuck this in, right?
If you want a house, what do you do?
You pay for it in cash?
No.
You get a mortgage.
Well, I got to go to college.
I need higher education.
I got to learn how to paint my hair blue and hate the government and get a nose ring, right?
And I'm oppressed because I'm white.
I need to figure out all that kind of stuff.
How much is that?
A quarter million dollars?
Am I going to write a check for that?
No.
I'm going to go student loans.
Okay, well, at least let me drive.
I got to drive to work or to school.
At least I'll pay for that in cash, right?
Nope.
Car note.
Well, I'm broke.
I don't have any money.
I need a TV.
Best Buy credit card.
So we are trained that if you want something, you get it now.
Screw your future self.
It's all about now, baby.
And then what happens is...
Time goes on.
You are a slave to the MasterCard.
You are a slave to the U.S. federal government and the state you live in, as long as it's not Florida or some other tax-free state.
And what happens is, is you end up hurting your future self because you think you're helping your present self.
It is like a bait and switch.
Look at this hand.
Tax-free, you know, write-offs, everything's great, while this hand is just destroying your future.
Gosh, it's just something that, it's just one more racket, one more scheme that the elites sell us to keep us in poverty and to keep us controlled.
It's just crazy.
So what could people do about this at this point?
I mean, what are some things, I know these are the things that you talk about in your company with your business, but if you can kind of give someone a takeaway or two, where should people look to?
So the Roth IRA is the best government-sponsored account.
Still high feed, still illiquid, still tied 100% to the casino, I mean the stock market.
It's still like the best of the worst, you know.
What most people do, which you can Google this, you can just go to Forbes, rich person's Roth, and there's articles written by certified public accountants.
There's articles written by certified financial planners.
Which tell you how the wealthy people do it.
And if you ask a wealthy person, do you want your money taxed or tax-free, which one do you think they choose?
If you ask a wealthy person, do you want to have access to your money so when the market crashes, you can buy anything at extreme discount?
Or do you want to handcuff your money for decades where you cannot touch it because you are not mature enough to handle your own retirement?
You are not to be trusted.
With your money.
If you ask them, if you get sued, do you want your creditor to take your 401k, or would you like to have it in something that doesn't exist?
It's fairy dust because of HIPAA laws.
If you go through a divorce, do you want your ex-spouse to liquidate it all, or do you want to have a safe place where your ex-spouse can't touch that money in most states?
Wow.
If the market crashes, do you want to experience all the losses that come with that?
Or do you want to have downside protection where you cannot lose, guaranteed?
Do you want an average rate of return over the last 20 years that is double the S&P 500?
Or do you want to get, that's tax-free, mind you, 15% tax-free, or do you want 7% taxable?
If you get disabled, what's a 100% match of $0 going into your 401k?
Zero.
Or do you want to have that fully funded for your retirement so your nest egg is guaranteed whether you get hurt or not?
If you pass away, let's say you have $100,000 in your 401k, do you want to leave $50,000 after taxation to your spouse and your children?
Or do you want to leave them a million dollars tax-free?
If you need long-term care, do you want to sell all your assets, pay the government, they're cut, so your long-term care costs $200,000 a year, is now $400,000 a year, so you have to take hard, illiquid, taxable assets, liquidate them, or other options on Title 19 and get thrown in jail,
also known as a nursing home.
Or, would you like to have $30,000 a month tax-free so you can stay home and celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays?
Easter, with your family.
So these are the hard questions that the average American doesn't do long-term planning.
We are so entrenched with instant gratification now, today, everything is I need it now, and time goes by so fast.
I want to be 40 in July.
That's nuts for me, right?
I just remember being in high school, middle of college.
Like, I have a high school student.
I'm a child.
I have three children.
My oldest is in high school.
I feel like I'm still 15, 20 years old.
So time goes by so fast.
And if you're so concerned on your present self and you are ignoring your future self, no one's going to help your future self but you.
You have to do the things today health-wise, financially.
Set up different strategies.
Because at the end of the day, when, not if, taxes go up, how does that affect your 401k?
Negatively.
When the market goes down, how does that affect your 401k?
Negatively.
When interest rates and inflation go up, how does that affect your 401k?
Negatively.
But with my strategy, when taxes go up, you lose nothing.
When the market goes down, you lose nothing.
When interest rates and inflation go up, you actually make more money.
And when you take a look at those levers, that's where a lot of my clients are saying, yeah, the old my parents and grandparents strategy of having the 401k isn't working.
I need to find an alternative way to build wealth, have a tax-free pension, have access to my money for an opportunity or emergency during a down market, and protect my family all with the same dollar.
That's amazing.
Well, obviously, I understand why you're so successful.
Tell everybody again where they can get your awesome books, especially there's a better way to than your 401k and where they can find you if they want to work with you.
Yeah, so all my books are on Amazon.
