Millstone Report w Paul Harrell: Constitutional Crisis? SCOTUS Blocks Trump’s Deportations
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
All right, folks, welcome to the show.
Thanks so much for being with us.
I was just making a last-minute tweet there, so I have to give me a little tardy on the intro.
Welcome to the Millstone Report.
My name is Paul Harrell.
As always, we can't do this program without you watching every single day.
Happy Tuesday to everybody out there watching.
I want to start, as always, by reminding everybody out there in the audience that this portion of the Millstone Report brought to you by Red Vive Health.
You want to go to redvivehealth.org slash Paul.
Check out their great red light panels.
We'll tell you more about the...
Healing Power of Light and Red Light Therapy a little later in the program.
So over the weekend, of course, didn't get to do a show on Monday, was providentially hindered.
Over the weekend, we've got a lot of news to get to.
Obviously, I hope everybody had a fantastic Resurrection Sunday, a great Easter.
Interestingly enough, churches are supposed to celebrate the death and burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ every single Sunday.
So if you went to church for the first time in a long time, just so you know, a biblical church is going to do that every single Sunday.
So just something to keep in mind.
Over the weekend, we heard a lot.
The media once again stumping for this MS-13 gang member that they're claiming is just a Maryland man.
There is a great mash-up montage by Derek Evans.
I hope he's just a Maryland man.
But we also heard from SCOTUS.
The Supreme Court of the United States, in the middle of the night, essentially decided to thwart the will of the American people and stop the deportations.
Preventing Trump from using the Alien Enemies Act or the Enemy Aliens Act to actually do what he was elected to do.
The border was one of the main reasons Trump was elected in 2016, and it certainly was the focal point in the 2024 election, trying to stop the invasion of this country by what I've been calling a third-world barbarian horde.
Matter of fact, let's listen to what President Trump said about how He was elected, not judges.
He was the one that was elected, and he's going to deliver on this mandate.
Listen to this.
Probably the biggest reason was because of the border and because of illegal immigration.
We're getting them out, and that's why I was elected.
A judge wasn't elected to do that.
I was elected to do...
The judge wasn't elected.
I was elected to do it.
So a few hot takes out there.
Someone named FJC says SCOTUS is lost.
The third branch has fallen.
The executive branch no longer exists.
We are being ruled by a communist political borough of judges.
Supreme Court blocks new deportations of Venezuelans in Texas under 18th Century Alien Enemies Act.
Also, we had this from Bill Ackman.
A nation in which one administration can allow millions of unvetted illegal migrants into the country but requires that a court vet each deportation decision in an individually adjudicated case will soon lose the values.
So the point is actually fantastic.
What kind of system do we even have if one administration could allow this invasion and another administration can't deport without the courts getting in the way of the will of the people?
In response to this...
I'm sorry, right here.
In response to this, we have this story from Jim Hoff.
Infuriating, Trump administration releases photos of suspected Venezuelan Trendeagua gang members with serious criminal records after SCOTUS blocks deportation.
U.S. Supreme Court temporarily blocks the Trump administration's effort to deport dozens of Venezuelan illegal aliens, many of them accused of violent crimes.
Of course, this is all the ACLU's doing.
But they actually released, these are the faces, you see on your screen there from the Gateway Pundit, these are the faces of the criminals and gang members that SCOTUS is stepping in to prevent Donald Trump from doing what the American people sent him there to do.
And some of the crimes they've been accused of, the rap sheets include child abuse, felony assault on police officers, drug trafficking, weapons charges, all swept under the rug by left-wing legal groups determined to obstruct lawful deportation efforts.
It really is absolutely maddening what's going on here.
I want to bring in Raven Harrison.
Raven is with us.
She joins us here on the Millstone Report.
Raven Harrison, you are also running for Congress down there in Florida.
Welcome to the Millstone Report.
Thanks so much for coming on.
Thanks for having me, Paul.
Great to be here.
What do you make of this?
We find all of this out on Easter weekend.
You think you get one ruling from the court that says, okay, Trump's going to be able to deliver on his mandate, then you get this other ruling.
It just seems like they are thwarting the will of the people.
What do you think?
Absolutely. And that's what everybody else thinks who witnesses this as well.
What you're looking at is we are right on the precipice of a constitutional crisis.
This is what the Supreme Court, we are supposed to have three branches of government that are equal, check and balance.
But now the Supreme Court in the middle of the night decided to unbalance the scales to thwart the will of the people.
And now they're making this constitutional crisis about what rights and entitlements illegals in our country have under the US Constitution.
It's always supposed to be an interpretation of the Constitution as
And we are now seeing this bipartisan political theater that has been going on for the past four years that we all sat through now just coming to a head as we are questioning how the Supreme Court can be Okay with issuing rulings in the middle of the night that have no precedent.
I mean, we have a precedent to get rid of the people who have broken our immigration laws and are in our country illegally.
They are criminals.
And the fact that we are having to actually defend that to the highest court in the land should concern every single American.
Yeah, it just seems like we're not even a country, honestly.
I mean, if this is what's going to happen, I mean, the courts are so corrupt.
I even heard a lot of people have been going back and listening to the El Salvadorian president, Bukele.
He gave a speech to CPAC.
We played it on Friday on the show where he talks about how...
We pay taxes to promote the illusion that we actually fund the government.
But he's also said that he had to actually take on the judiciary in his own country because they were so corrupt.
And I know a lot of people don't want to go there.
Because they say the Constitution, I mean, but I've said for a while, I mean, the Constitution hasn't really mattered a very long time.
It almost never matters when Republicans are in power.
I'm sorry, when liberals are in power.
It only matters when Republicans are in power.
Just the left say, oh, that's unconstitutional.
But it hasn't really mattered in this country for decades.
And now we see this populist president, he's trying to solve a massive problem.
It's making this country less safe.
We have dead Americans, not to mention the...
Fentanyl crisis.
And the courts step in and say, no, you've got to stop.
Before it's even adjudicated in the Fifth Circuit, by the way.
It's absolutely incredible, and it just kind of makes you think, where do we go from here?
I think President Trump should begin to explore how he would ignore orders like this.
And I know that would create a constitutional crisis, but I think it's SCOTUS that has actually created the constitutional crisis.
Because if you're talking about saving the lives of Americans versus respecting some ruling of some corrupt...
Well, absolutely.
That's what we are elected to do, and we have to also distinguish the rights from entitlements.
The left is the master of these word-salad games of saying, okay, well, he has to listen to the Supreme Court, but they said nothing when Biden defied the Supreme Court on the student loan forgiveness.
He actually got up and did a press conference and said, you know, not going to stop me.
He also defied the Supreme Court on the Remain in Mexico policy when our borders were being overrun.
But the Constitution is very clear, especially in Article 2, about what it means to secure our borders and the right that the executive branch has to do that.
So the left said nothing when millions poured in.
Crime spiked.
We had a constitutional crisis then.
Precursor for communism.
I have two parents who are retired Air Force veterans and I'm telling you this is what we are looking at.
Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it and those who are trying to alter history intend to repeat it.
So we have to be vigilant and the same vigor we use to get President Trump elected to do this, we now have to stay on these officials, on these legislators and ensure they fulfill the will of the people or it will not get done and we will fall into communism.
Yeah, we got one, again, we just read this one from Bill Ackman, a nation in which one administration can allow millions of unvetted illegal migrants into a country but requires that a court vet each deportation decision individual.
I mean, it's just, it's insane that mass deportations are now going to be stopped by the courts.
D.C. Drano, though, is saying, President Trump, America is ready to declare an invasion and mass deport these illegals.
So is there some legal mechanism where he can officially declare an invasion?
I mean, what we really have here at Raven, I think, is just a complete, I mean, we're just disregarding what the executive branch is.
And it's interesting because there's been plenty of books written over the years about how the executive branch has grown.
You've got all these agencies.
A lot of people think the agencies themselves, people used to write about how they're unconstitutional or whatever, but jurisprudence is way past that.
We're way past that.
Now that you have a president that's going to essentially...
In a way, weaponize those executive agencies in against the government structure themselves.
You know, we see this with Doge and everything else, but we have an executive branch that has this authority.
It's now going to wield it for the benefit of the American people and the D.C. elites, the intel oligarchs.
They're freaking out, and now all of a sudden they want to claw back all of this authority from the executive branch.
Do you think that President Trump should declare an invasion?
Absolutely. And what you're also seeing is these judges, you're hearing a lot of from the left, well, we don't want billionaires, we don't want unelected representation.
Well, that's essentially what we have when we have these lower courts.
We even have the SCOTUS saying that they chose not to hear the lower courts and made a decision in the middle of the night.
That never, ever bodes well for the American people.
And we cannot have these kind of shadow governments with these rulings that affect all Americans that are being done in the cloak of darkness and behind closed doors.
I'm the same way about the votes that Congress has.
Why are we having secret ballot votes?
Everything should be transparent and right up front for the American people.
But absolutely, he should declare an invasion.
American citizens are dying.
It has bankrupted many of our systems to absorb.
I think some are estimating that we have as much as 5% of the population of Haiti illegally in our country right now.
So we have definitely already a constitutional crisis.
We have a border crisis.
We have a legislative crisis.
And we have a check and balance crisis.
And that's the one we have to address first, is we have to give President Trump the authority and the means and the resources to do the job he was elected to do.
And the Supreme Court...
Shame on them for playing politics and for their trying to check President Trump rather than providing a check and balance of the judiciary to the executive.
They are more concerned about one man than they are about the precedent this sets for how we govern.
The Founding Fathers said limited government, a limited form of Republican government.
They wanted to shrink the government and it ballooned under Biden, but yet we don't have better results for the American people.
Yeah, it's unbelievable.
Raven Harrison, tell us a little bit about yourself, if you don't mind.
How did you first get involved in the political arena?
I know I read something about a mock election at a school.
Can you tell us a little bit about how and then why you decided to run for Congress?
Absolutely. Well, I can tell you that this is definitely not the path I saw myself taking, but I'm very happy to be here now.
And the political side of it started about eight years ago when we received a call 10 minutes before the end of school for our then third-grader eight-year-old daughter patients.
And we were told to rush to the school.
There was an incident that they would not disclose.
But we needed to come immediately.
So we ran to the school to find a hysterical, hyperventilating eight-year-old.
And I said, why does she look like this?
And they said, well, we had an election in school today and your daughter voted for Trump.
And if we can't correct this, she is expelled.
And I honestly can tell you, Paul, I had never heard of any of these.
I'd never heard of the woke ideology.
I'd never heard of CRT.
I'd never heard of any of this.
Nonsense going on in the schools, but that put me right on the front line.
It's not my reason.
It's my catalyst.
What is my most important responsibility is to be a mom and to steward these kids.
And I was outraged that any school, any district, and any ideology thinks they can usurp the will of the parents.
For me personally, I was born to two Air Force veterans.
Both my parents are retired Air Force lieutenant colonels.
My husband is a retired C-17 pilot.
I am literally, my whole immediate family are people who fought and bled for this country.
And America is the best country in the world and it's worth fighting for, but we will not hand it over to communists.
We will not hand it over to people who hate it.
We will not hand it over to people who would see it torn apart because we are the last beacon.
We are the last bastion of freedom that truly exists in this world.
And if we don't fight for it...
Then we will lose it.
And that's what Ben Franklin said.
He said, I'm giving you a republic if you can keep it.
And that's why I remind people that we have to pay a convenience fee.
The convenience fee for not paying attention to what's going on in schools is that your kids get indoctrinated.
The convenience fee for not watching what you eat is poor health.
But the convenience fee for not being plugged into your government, your legislators, your educators is communism.
It's communism.
And we have to fight against it.
So this is what the Founding Fathers wanted.
They were not career politicians.
They were everyday people, scholars, farmers, blacksmiths.
And they came together to fight and they knew we would be here.
A convenience fee.
I really like that.
You are exactly right.
A convenience fee.
So going back to that story, because that's fascinating, you get to the school, they say your daughter voted for Trump in a mock election.
So was this the 2016 election when Hillary was running?
Yes, and it was in March of 2017, so it would have been after a few months.
I thought most of the meltdowns had been over, and we weren't overly political.
Wow. At that point.
So did that ever resolve itself?
I mean, did you just agree to disagree?
Or, I mean, what happens when you find out that your school is that rabidly leftist, that there's no room for disagreement, even though the entire country disagrees every four years when they go vote?
Well, we were absolutely gobsmacked.
And I'm telling you, I was...
Outrage. To say I was livid would be the understatement of the century.
No parent should ever walk into a school and see their child in the condition that my child was in.
Knowing that my parents had fought and bled for this country, knowing that I am a conservative, but I respect everybody's right to decide how they choose to live their life and how they...
They choose to make it work.
And the fact that they would take that, the fact that they would come after our children, was absolutely the straw that broke the camel's back.
And I really jumped in.
I started embracing the warrior spirit that I have.
I'm of Native American descent.
And I said, okay, get the tomahawks ready.
We're going to get it done.
But I realized in that moment that this is...
An easy problem to fix.
If we want a better message, we have to send a better messenger.
And I just prayed about it.
We talked to our family and figured the best way we could make a difference.
And it started just by talking about it and realizing I was shut down.
So what we ultimately did is we took off the top third of that school because there was absolutely no moment.
And people didn't realize.
They said, why didn't you do this?
Why didn't you do that?
We didn't know what we had in that moment.
We didn't know what we were up against.
We didn't realize.
Actually, until later that day, in that moment, I just pulled her out of the school.
I pulled both our kids out of the school, and we put them in homeschool.
But I said, what's going to be the next step?
And when we started going through all the things we pulled out of my daughter's desk, that's when it really hit me.
We started seeing bookmarks that were in the shape of male appendage.
We started seeing books about textbooks that were defaming.
Native Americans and Americans and patriotism.
And I said, and that's when I realized we not only were the Titanic, we not only hit the iceberg, but we were backing up to hit it again.
And that we stopped this because this is the doctrine of communism.
They love to go after the impressionable.
They love to go after the children because there's minds that they can shape.
And that's what I realized we had here.
So I said, I'm going to step in.
Run for Congress.
I'm going to step up and do what the Founding Fathers envisioned, which is give us a government for the people and by the people.
But these people have been here.
Nancy Pelosi has been in office for four decades.
Biden, 52 years.
These people have been there since before the Internet.
They are entrenched, but now it's Trump's fault.
These people who have been here for decades are now saying all the problems that have occurred, which are cumulative.
In nature are all the fault of one man who is not a politician, who is not a career politician.
And that's another reason I wanted to run for office, because people don't want career politicians.
How are we going to send Trump, who is a wrecking ball?
We wanted him to come in and just annihilate the swamp.
But we can't send people who've been in Congress for decades, you know, who are trying to solve the problems they created.
And say, okay, President Trump, he can't do it alone.
So we have got to send people who are going to back him up.
We're going to uphold his sacrifices and codify these changes of doge and make sure we protect our majority.
Because other than that, we're going to have Hakeem Jeffries on the gavel.
We're going to have endless impeachments, continual waste of money, and a wide open border for criminals and gang members and fentanyl and every vice you can imagine.
America cannot survive with our doors wide open and no protection for the American people, and we're going to give it to them.
I'm really glad you brought that up about the entrenched bureaucracy, the political class, being there for 50 years, being there before the Internet.
That really makes you think.
I talked about this with a guest that we had out on Friday about the tariffs, and you've got Howard Lutnick and Donald Trump.
Saying and insinuating that, hey, these tariffs may actually end the income tax.
And I thought about how that thought alone terrifies the swamp or the uniparty or whatever, because for my entire life or for the last 100 years, over 100 years, You know,
we've been told this is the only way that we can survive as a country is with this onerous federal income tax.
And if Trump were to actually get in there, and within a year, two years, three years, four years, or whatever, and actually end the income tax, which would be the greatest transfer of freedom back to the people since the American Revolution, in my opinion, it would expose all of them as being just completely inept and actually hating the people that they...
that they claim to serve.
If that were to happen, it would be such a boot off of the neck of the American people.
You just have to change the narrative, don't you, Paul?
I mean, because listen to how they're saying it.
Oh, these tariffs are bad.
They said nothing when we were paying 270% tariff on milk from Canada.
Nobody said anything.
But the reality is, if this had been If this was 1776, we'd already have tea in the harbor.
That was taxation without representation.
You pay taxes on your income.
You pay taxes on things you buy at the store.
You pay taxes on your property.
And then you pay taxes on those taxes.
So it's important to remind people where this litany of taxation has come from.
This is fueled by the globalists.
This is the swamp trying to protect the swamp.
And again, you see who has a vested Interest in this.
But the reality is, if we could pull that back, then we have elected officials who work for us.
Because right now what you're hearing is, you know, government funded.
There is no such thing as government funded.
The government has no money.
It is our money.
That is our tax money.
And that's why it's funny you see the left right now hands off.
Hands off of what?
That's our money.
You keep your hands off of it.
That is...
Taxpayer money, and it is supposed to be bettering the lives of American citizens.
We have veterans who are waiting months for surgery because the VA has been obliterated by illegal aliens.
We have Americans that are starving right here.
And then what do we have with our legislators?
They're in El Salvador.
Fighting for an MS-13 gang member who is a citizen of El Salvador, and they're down there, you know, possibly violating the Logan Act and telling, you know, the president of El Salvador, you must release one of your citizens who has,
you know, a gang tattoo on his knuckles and has two different courts who have declared him a gang member.
You've got to release him and send him back into America so that America can foot the bill.
This has become a backwards...
Backwards proposition of who works for who and who holds the power.
And the people do.
And we reminded them of that in November when we elected President Trump.
He got the popular vote and the electoral.
And he had a clear mandate, which is execute the will of the people.
And all you have seen is destruction and firebombing of Teslas and violence directed at those I mean, if this boils down to one simple concept, two billionaires who are not drawing a salary are exposing the waste of people who are drawing a salary,
and the left is losing their mind.
Wow. Yeah, that's very well said.
You're running for Congress, Raven Harrison, in Florida's 23rd congressional district.
Is that correct?
That is correct.
Okay, so who is your opponent, and what's he like?
Well, our opponent is a Democrat named Jared Moscovich.
He has had a very short tenure in Congress, so two-plus terms, and he's worth $11 million, modestly.
He voted for boys to play against girls.
He has funded ESGs, which are funding Hamas.
So he has an atrocious voting record, but he positions himself as a centrist, and he has a Jewish last name.
So he is enjoying the benefits of people just saying, well, you know, this is better than the alternative.
And it's really not.
We can't survive this kind of constitutional crisis where our legislators don't work for us.
And he is epitome of that.
So we are running.
We have the resources and the ability, but we need the American people.
You know, I always used to say that politicians should wear jackets like NASCAR so we know who bought them.
And I'm telling you that I need the American people and the constituents of 23 to stand with me now.
We need their support.
We need their donations.
We need them to show up and show that we're going to give President Trump The backup he needs in the midterms, because the midterms are typically a time that we lose seats.
We can't afford to lose our majority or everything we have done to try to roll back this communism will be lost.
And the Democrats will run shot over this country until it is in ashes.
Raven Harrison, we really appreciate you taking time.
It's been great to meet you.
I appreciate your perspective.
And we should do it again soon.
So thank you so much.
And the website, if people want to know more, ravenharrisonforcongress.com, it's up on the screen right here.
God bless, and I'll give you the last word.
And Americans, patriots, I mean, the essence of communism is a mental game.
They want you to feel like we're too big.
We're too powerful.
You can't beat us.
And I want you to know that that's the reason that we should fight.
The reason we don't have British accents right now is because the heart of a patriot is strong.
America is an amazing country, and it's worth fighting for.
And I'm asking for patriots, veterans, moms, dads, people who love...
Join with me now.
Help us give you the America our children deserve.
RavenHarrisonforCongress.com.
Every little bit helps.
We can do this.
We will do this.
All right, Raven Harrison, we appreciate it so much.
Thank you, and we'll do it again soon.
Folks, before we go any further, I want to tell you about Red Vive Health and the great red light panels.
That you can get over at redvivehealth.org.
There they are.
You've got two options here.
That's the Red Vive 60, and then you have the Red Vive 300.
I have the 300.
Red Vive devices, like you see on your screen right there, they emit red and near-infrared light designed to reduce muscle and joint inflammation and pain, stimulate cellular energy, speed up recovery, boost skin collagen, strengthen your body,
and boost your mood.
Red and near-infrared light are two wavelengths that are naturally emitted by the sun.
These panels, though, provide it in targeted doses.
These waves have a healing effect on the body.
First, the red light.
It's absorbed by your skin, leads to enhanced skin health, collagen production, skin tightening, anti-aging benefits.
Then the near-infrared light penetrates deeper into the body, reaching your bones, muscles, tissues, and even organs.
So you can look better, you can feel better, and experience scientifically proven anti-aging benefits and improve skin health.
You can reduce wrinkles, color patches, hyperpigmentation, that sort of thing.
But I'm going to tell you right now, the best part about it...
For me, I think is the near-infrared light spectrum that actually penetrates deeper, stimulating the mitochondria of your cell.
To me, I think that's where it's at.
Because you get, it's just like problems get fixed that maybe you didn't even know you had.
It really is that.
That's special.
So I want you to shop right now at redvivehealth.org.
That's redvivehealth.org.
They have 0% interest financing available.
You will get a discount when you use that link, redvivehealth.org.
And you're going to be getting a piece of technology, clinical strength panels in your own home that Big Pharma does not want you to know about.
They'd much rather you be on the hamster wheel for life of their Big Pharma scheme.
We're going to take a quick break, real quick reset.

Derek Evans was tweeting about this over the weekend.
And it's just incredible, the Democrats going all in for MS-13 gang members.
People thinking about we should ban propaganda.
I would agree.
Bring back the Smith-Mount Act.
But this was the mainstream media over the last week.
The Maryland man thought to be wrongly deported.
The Maryland man Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
The Maryland man wrongfully deported.
The Maryland man who was mistakenly deported.
The Maryland man.
That Maryland man that was detained.
The Maryland man mistakenly deported to a prison in El Salvador.
They're not even trying to bring back a...
The Maryland man, they shipped to El Salvador.
Uh, the Maryland man who was sent, uh, to El Salvador.
This man, uh, from Maryland.
A Maryland man.
The case of a Maryland man.
The Maryland man.
Maryland man.
That Maryland man.
The case of the Maryland man.
Maryland man.
All right, it goes on for like another minute.
It's just insane.
Oh, he's just a Maryland man.
A Mary.
He was a Mary Maryland man before.
Before he was deported to El Salvador.
An El Salvadorian citizen.
He's an El Salvadorian.
But no, he's just a Maryland man.
And if you disagree, there's something wrong with you.
Alright, here's a little follow-up.
So we told you about this New York Times story on Thursday that said that Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, J.D. Vance,
among others were able to convince the president and i think the president was already you know kind of of that vein to not support the israeli attack against iran that was proposed to take place sometime in may of course who knows we could wake up tomorrow
and bombs are being dropped there are some reports that israel wants to do the attack regardless um but this led
The New York Times story breaks, and then all of a sudden...
You had these three staffers at the Department of Defense, one of them by the name of Dan Caldwell, who Tucker Carlson interviewed yesterday, are escorted out of the building because they are accused of leaking to the media.
So some people thought, and I reported on this, that they were escorted out because they leaked this story to the New York Times.
That appears to be inaccurate, or at least there's...
A totally different side of the story.
They're now saying, at least Dan Caldwell and the others on Tucker Carlson is saying that he's being targeted because he's actually one of the people who is behind the brain trust of not wanting to go to war with Iran.
As a matter of fact, Dan Caldwell is on the record being of the mindset of, hey...
We don't need to have another war in the Middle East.
Being on the side of peace, not being on the side, doesn't want this escalation, doesn't want dead Americans in the Middle East, doesn't want a war with Iran.
Now people are saying that the neocons in the government that want war, people like, and I know Nikki Haley's not in the government, but we've got a tweet of her.
She's on here complaining about Tulsi Gabbard because that's their next target.
So you get all these attacks.
So these three staffers get booted.
And allegedly these staffers of the DOD are actually anti-war.
So it's almost like this is the punishment we're going to target.
And I watched this interview with Dan Caldwell, and his personal devices have not been seized.
He can't even verify that there has been an investigation.
I know Pete Hexeth is saying the investigation is ongoing.
Pete Hexeth is even saying, hey, we may have criminal charges for these leakers.
But it is all very, very interesting.
After the news comes out that these three staffers last week have been dismissed, again, this is right before the New York Times story breaks, saying that Vance and Hegseth, saying that even Susie Wiles, Tulsi Gabbard,
were saying, hey, we don't need to go to war with Iran.
Now we have this full-court press against Hegseth saying that there's another signal gate and Pete Hegseth has to go.
This required Donald Trump.
He came out and said he supports Hegseth.
You had NPR where the story says that the White House is now looking for a new Secretary of Defense.
It is very clear that the intel oligarchy that is still around, they're still entrenched in the bureaucracies, they want to go to war.
And they are targeting Hegseth, targeting his anti-war staffers.
That's what is clear to me at this point.
And this actually makes me a fan of Pete Hegseth even more.
I mean, if they're going to...
I'm not a fan of escorting anti-war staffers out that didn't do anything.
We'll see what happens.
Dan Caldwell was pretty convincing on this podcast with Tucker Carlson.
We'll have to wait and see.
The point is, there is clearly a concerted effort to get rid of Hegseth, to get rid of Tulsi Gabbard, to get rid of anybody in the administration.
That's why the New York Times ran the story.
The New York Times ran the story as a flare, as an SOS flare, help.
There are people around Trump that don't want to go to war with Iran.
We have to convince Donald Trump to go to war with Iran, Brought up the idea that we need to be very, very vigilant about the possibility of a false flag attack on U.S. soil to get the United States back into a war in the Middle East.
One of the things they talked about in this Carlson podcast was the amount of United States troops that are stationed at military bases around the Middle East.
That would certainly face annihilation or potential annihilation should Iran respond.
But you go back to what Donald Trump said on Thursday.
No, no, no.
We played this on Friday when we were interviewing Jacob Holloway for the special, the Paul Harrell program special.
And we played for you that clip where he was asked about the New York Times story.
And he said he's trying to make a deal with Iran.
He wants to make a deal with Iran because he doesn't want the Iranian people to die.
What a novel thought.
He wants peace.
He doesn't want to get involved in another war.
And the one point that Tucker made in this piece that I thought is very good, if you want to try to derail everything Donald Trump is doing here domestically, whether it's the tariffs, whether it's the deportations, Whether it's the getting rid of DEI,
whether it's getting rid of transgenders in the military, although a war might actually solidify that policy, who knows?
But if you really want to derail anything transformative that Donald Trump is attempting to do, getting us involved in a giant war that essentially destroys the legacy of his presidency is the way to do it.
It's the way to derail...
So much of what is going on here domestically.
And I would agree.
And they're saying that there's only...
They're also saying there's a small window of time to where the U.S. could get dragged into the war because many people think there is an economic crisis on the way, planned economic crisis, or natural, which I don't really think it's natural.
But there's that crisis that's been put in a glass case as well.
Back when the tariffs were announced and the markets took their hit, I know one of the things Tucker said was, okay, well, if this is the economic forecast, then we definitely can't go to war with Iran now.
So we're going to continue watching this story and try to figure out what exactly is going on.
Here is Hegseth on Fox.
When you dismiss people...
Who you believe are leaking classified information, and again, the investigation is ongoing and that will take time, and when the evidence produced it will go to DOJ, why would it surprise anybody, Brian, if those very same people keep leaking to the very same reporters whatever information they think they can have to try to sabotage the agenda of the president or the secretary?
So, once a leaker, always a leaker.
Often a leaker.
And so we look for leakers because we take it very seriously.
And we will do the investigation.
And if those people are exonerated, fantastic.
We don't think, based on what we understand, that it's going to be a good day for a number of those individuals because of what was found in the investigation.
So if they want to keep leaking and pushing and peddling things to try to sabotage the president's agenda, that's unfortunate.
So there will be an investigation.
Again, if you go watch...
One of the alleged leakers who denies all of this is Dan Caldwell.
He's also anti-war.
Doesn't want to start...
He says that the Defense Department, the DOD, needs to have strong military capabilities as leverage in matters of diplomacy, which I agree with.
Who would disagree with that?
But that a war in the Middle East where the United States gets involved would be disastrous.
And again, I go back to what I've said.
It would also be disastrous for, I think, for propositions of peace between Russia and Ukraine.
Secretary of State
I don't think it's hyperbole that we're talking about World War III.
That you hear in our media, or from warmongers like Lindsey Graham, is that we can just strike Iran and nothing bad is going to happen.
Like, there won't be any negative consequences to us.
And I don't think that's the case.
I think it's an Archduke Ferdinand moment, and you're going to call up alliances.
That's what you're going to do.
You're going to activate alliances.
Whether they're military alliances or financial alliances, that's what you're going to activate.
It would be very, very, very bad.
Let's see here.
What else do we have?
Yeah, apparently one of the things that was said on this podcast yesterday with Tucker Carlson is that Susan Rice, you know, Susan Rice, Benghazi Susan Rice, the Susan Rice that went on all the Sunday talk shows after Benghazi and blamed a video,
blamed a YouTube video for why Benghazi, the 9-11 Benghazi attacks happened.
Remember that Susan Rice?
She still has access to the Department of Defense, according to him, and still sits on the Defense Policy Board.
But let's be honest.
Everyone knows where that's coming from.
It's from the career staff who don't look like what the president and the secretary and vice president want to do.
There's people on the joint staff that I've come to respect, but a lot of them are incredibly hostile to the secretary, to the president, and the vice president's worldview.
It's pretty obvious that that's where most of the leaks are coming from.
There's a less obvious place.
I just want to point something out.
As we sit here today, Tucker, and this could change by the time this is aired, but as we sit here today, Susan Rice, Michelle Flournoy, Eric Edelman are still in good standing with the Department of Defense.
What? That is correct.
Susan Rice?
The Obama Susan Rice?
Yes. Susan Rice is still on the Defense Policy Board.
Right now?
As we speak...
We sit here today.
By the time this is released, that might change.
But as we sit here today, she is still on the Defense Policy Board.
Now, that doesn't mean she can go in the building and get access to whatever she wants.
But it means that she works with DOD employees, she can interact with them, and has the credential and the affiliation with the Department of Defense.
But Susan Rice has no relevant experience for a job like that at all.
She's a political hack.
Correct. Yet, as we sit here in April of 2025, about...
100 days into the president's first term, she and a bunch of other people who are incredibly hostile to the president and his worldview remain on the defense policy board.
You're sure?
You can go on the website and check it right now.
And I checked with Colin and Darren, and they confirmed that as well, too.
It's incredible.
If that's true, that's absolutely incredible.
The bureaucracy is alive and well.
And again, I am of the opinion that these staffers were actually let go.
They're anti-war.
And they very likely could be being framed for leaking while the real leakers continue to leak things to their pal Susan Rice.
Redacted had a great interview with Colonel Douglas McGregor.
They posted this on X a few weeks ago.
We told you about anti-war Trump cabinet insiders fighting to stop a war with Iran.
But they're up against the neocons in Israel, which is pushing hard for U.S. backup to take Iran down.
This is a really good data point between Clayton Morris and Douglas McGregor.
I would encourage all of you guys to check that out in your spare time.
And we also have Nikki Haley and Mark Levin.
Of course, Mark Levin is a warmonger.
There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
She is complaining.
So Mark Levin posts an American Greatness article.
DNI Gabbard must reverse, quote, stupid, end quote, U.S. intelligence on Iran's nuclear weapons program.
Mark Levin, very important.
Please read.
Red flags are everywhere.
Can't wait.
I can't say we were not warned.
So Nikki Haley's complaining, I raised alarm bells about this when she was nominated, but you chose to attack me over it anyway.
There is no room for Iranian sympathizers and the national security team of the United States.
With these people, it's either all or nothing, ladies and gentlemen.
If you do not want more dead Americans in the Middle East, then you must be...
There is no gray area with these people.
It's either black or white.
It's either continue the same foreign policy that continues to destabilize the Middle East, you know, and nobody's ever held accountable for it.
Their only answer is more war.
Their only answer is more, you know, more money for the defense contractors and eventually more young American soldiers, many of them from the South, which is where I'm from.
Dead in the Middle East.
And that's why it's been my entire life.
I'm 40 years old.
This is my existence.
This is the people who are my age, us millennials.
This is the status quo.
And we are sick of it.
I mean, if you actually look at the demographic breakdown with polling, people my age and younger are absolutely fed up with this nonsense.
Absolutely fed up with this version.
This is the only foreign policy that we're allowed to have, which is dropping bombs in the Middle East.
And I just pray for peace.
I don't want anybody to die.
And I pray for a lasting peace.
And I hope that Donald Trump and the negotiations with Iran go well.
I really do.
I hope they actually go well.
And I pray that we don't have another war in the Middle East that spreads.
Because it will.
Who knows?
You always talk about potential Iranian terror cells here in the United States.
That could happen as well.
Alright, skipping over to this.
This was outrageous.
Russell Moore, his magazine, Christianity Today, decided to drop this ridiculous article right before Easter.
They tweeted, Or they wrote on Acts, Of course, this got community noted.
The Bible says explicitly that Jesus has wounds in his hands and side following his crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
John 20, verse 27, Reach out your hand and put it in my side.
Do not doubt, but believe.
A few of the comments.
William Wolfe, Center for Baptist Leadership Christian, yesterday strikes again.
If you're looking for a Christian organization that won't deny the truth of the New Testament and undermine Scripture on the night before Easter, follow us at Baptist Leaders.
Also, you look at the prophetic concept.
If you go read Psalm 22, pierced for our transgressions, We have some sarcasm as well.
Let's see here.
Somebody's saying delete your account.
I can't find the...
There was one really great sarcastic quote that I'm missing.
Anyway, just absolutely insane.
A total abomination, really.
It just goes to show you...
How Christianity today is really just about diminishing true biblical Christianity any possible way they can.
Yeah, that was the article there.
Oh, yeah, here it is.
This is what it was.
This was the sarcastic comment.
And Thomas said, unless I see the rope burns, I will not believe.
There was a fascinating conversation that took place between Christopher Rufo and Jonah Goldberg.
And I want to highlight that the rest of the show today.
We're running out of time.
But Megan Basham, the author of Shepherds for Sale, writes, this entire exchange between Christopher Rufo and Jonah Goldberg is well worth the read.
What it comes down to is that we've reached a point of national devolution.
Where a new generation of conservatives, I would say, you know, new generation of conservatives that are tired of war in the Middle East, but I'll digress.
A new generation of conservatives represented by Rufo realized that the beautiful losers model, like we're going to be losers, but at least we'll be principled beautiful losers.
The beautiful losers model of the respectable right, which Goldberg represents, would destroy our futures.
And our children's futures.
Megan Basham writing, we will not continue down that path.
So it centers around this back and forth between Christopher Rufo.
I tracked it down.
Let's see here.
Yeah, so this is what Christopher Rufo said.
In response to this article, let me see here.
In response to this article by Kevin Dugan, meet MAGA's favorite communist.
Conservative activists like Christopher Ruffo are taking inspiration from Antonio Gromsky, the 20th century Marxist.
So this goes in line with those people that have tried to coin this term woke right.
So Christopher Ruffo says, The right is learning new political tactics.
We are not going to indulge the fantasies of the classical liberals who forfeited all of the institutions.
We're going to fight tooth and nail to recapture the regime and entrench our ideas in the public sphere.
Jonah Goldberg takes issue with this.
He says...
He says, a lot of the idea of the right are classically liberal, or at least they were considered to be for a century or so.
Could you explicate which classically liberal ideas you think are fantasies?
Because I could swear a lot of your Manhattan Institute colleagues don't think they're fantastical.
And so he responds to this.
Let's see here.
Yes, he says, my point is that a lot of people who claim to be classical liberals today are actually just post-war civil libertarians and offer no viable solutions for the current problems.
The classical republicanism of the founders, the Machiavellian line of Burnham, have much more to offer.
So they get into this back and forth.
And Jonah Goldberg says, I get it.
Thanks for the response.
He says, I watched as many on the right went from demonizing Saul Alinsky to respecting to outright envying and wanting to emulate him.
Many of those people stopped being conservative or classically liberal in the process.
Steve Bannon, Dinesh, etc.
So Ruffo responds to this.
He says, I've read Alinsky and Gromsky and a lot of history of the American founding and discovered that.
If you strip out the Marxist ideologies and look at the concepts as a set of tools, the founders of America employed virtually all of the Alinsky-Gromsky tactics.
Samuel Adams, whom Jefferson believed to be the father of the revolution, developed a playbook that mobilized the counter-elite, produced propaganda, sieged institutions, changed the system of values, and established a new cultural hegemony.
Or common sense.
The ideas of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were only possible because of the tactics of Samuel Adams.
Gromsky is useful to the extent that he provides an analysis, not at the human scale of the founding, Boston population 15,000, but at the industrial scale of modernity.
What people are, and by the way, these are the same founding fathers, by the way, just so you know, who didn't think things like blasphemy laws were unconstitutional.
They weren't sitting around writing.
These are the same.
So we're looking at the political tactics, but we can also look at what they believe.
They were not sitting around writing the First Amendment thinking, well, this is going to give people the freedom to put out any kind of pornography they want, and under the name of freedom of speech, society has to accept it.
No, banning things is good.
Sometimes. Sometimes.
Again, I still need to have those t-shirts made.
So Megan Basham is right here.
It is a fantastic conversation.
And then Josh Dawes writes, the reaction to this post from, quote, classical liberals, and he's got this meme where a soldier's coming up to a general.
Sir, we found the enemy's missile blueprints.
And the general says, that was designed by a Marxist.
We're not becoming like them.
Burn it.
Just totally ignore.
Totally ignore potential solutions for maybe how to get out of this mess.
Which brings me to the last point today.
Aaron McIntyre.
Aaron McIntyre has probably the best tweet I've seen this month.
He says, the new atheists spent their whole lives beating on an already feeble establishment Christianity, pretending the whole time they were slaying a giant.
Having experienced the insanity of the woke religion, the woke sex religion as I call it, that replaced it, The center-left atheists decided that maybe they do need Christianity after all, or at least they need the utility it provided in holding a sane civilization together.
I would argue, I would say that what we are experiencing now is we've been running off the derivatives of good, Christian, obedient men for a very, very long time.
And as we turned on Christianity as a society, obviously the fuel ran out.
He goes on, some of the institutional Christian leaders jumped at the chance like an abandoned dog left on the porch who finally receives the opportunity to rush back inside and win the master's approval, but when the new atheists went to reinstall that weak and culturally subservient Christianity,
they found that the rank and file were done with it.
The new reinvigorated Christianity, willing to assert itself culturally, This is the source of the screeching you hear constantly about the dangers of Christian nationalism or the lectures from people who hate the Bible about how Jesus would have wanted you to hand power over to them.
Cynical atheists got too greedy.
They killed the golden goose and are slowly realizing that they will never, ever get that deal again.
And that is because people have realized, Christians have realized, that cultural neutrality is in fact a myth.
You may say that it's real, but it isn't.
You're either going to worship the creature or the creator.
It's a Christian nation or pagan nation.
It is a binary choice.
Fascinating tweet by Oren McIntyre, and I think it loops everything in to what we have been talking about.
