Time Text
Thank you.
I love you guys.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go guys.
Mr.
President-elect and former President Donald, congratulations.
Thank you.
And looking forward to having a, like we said, smooth transition.
Do everything we can to make sure you're accommodating, what you need.
And we're going to get a chance to talk about some of that today.
It's good.
Welcome.
Thank you very much.
And politics is tough.
And it's, in many cases, not a very nice world, but it is a nice world today, and I appreciate it very much.
A transition that's so smooth, it'll be as smooth as it can get, and I very much appreciate it.
Thank you very much, and politics is tough.
And it's, in many cases, not a very nice world, but it is a nice world today, and I appreciate it very much.
A transition that's so smooth, it'll be as smooth as it can get, and I very much appreciate it.
Thank you.
Alright, welcome to the Millstone Report.
My name is Paul Harrell.
This is pretty incredible stuff going on right now in Washington, D.C. Right now, 12 o'clock, 12.03 Eastern Standard Time.
We have the pomp and circumstance of...
Basically, who used to be the president-in-exile, Donald Trump, president-in-exile, Donald Trump, coming back to D.C. At the same time, we have a secret ballot, a secret vote, where the Senate is trying to protect the swamp.
And I can report to you that right now, the vote was originally scheduled to take place at 9.30, and it took place a few minutes ago, and Rick Scott was eliminated.
He did not get the...
The votes he needed.
And so now John Cornyn and John Thune, it goes on to his second ballot.
And we're going to see where everything shakes out after that.
This is, you know, not good for the MAGA movement, if you will.
Unless there, of course, are some deals that have been made to allow Trump to have recess appointments.
John Cornyn and John Thune, it goes on to his second ballot.
And we're going to see where everything shakes out after that.
This is, you know, not good for the MAGA movement, if you will, unless there, of course, are some deals that have been made to allow Trump to have recess appointments.
I'm not really sure.
We have, let's see here, let's go to the screen.
By the way, at the bottom of the hour, we're going to be checking in with Corinne Clifford, She's on the ground in DC monitoring this situation, so we'll be doing that.
But we've got a lot to get to today.
Trump's appointments, the good, the bad, the ugly.
We're going to try to get to all of it today.
We pull up the screen here and we can see...
This one, Charlie Kirk just posting, it's totally unacceptable that we do secret ballots to elect a Senate majority leader.
They are afraid of you.
You see there, Rick Scott loses bid on first ballot down to Thune and Cornyn now.
Right, so when everybody went to the polls last week, we were not voting for the Mitch McConnells of the world, the John Thunes of the world, or the John Cornyns of the world.
We weren't doing that.
And yet, here we go.
The whole system, the swamp, is so resistant to change.
We went to the polls last week.
We were not voting for the Mitch McConnells of the world, the John Thunes of the world, or the John Cornyns of the world.
We weren't doing that.
And yet, here we go.
The whole system, the swamp, is so resistant to change.
There's even a report out there.
Now, it is just a report.
That Mitch McConnell and the Mitch McConnell loyalists will not commit to giving Trump his recess appointments unless they put Marco Rubio in the Secretary of State's office.
Now, it's interesting to note that it's now been two days or 48 hours 48 hours since it was leaked or the New York Post or the New York Times, Maggie Haberman, she comes out and she says, Margot Rubio's the guy, Secretary of State, and then nothing.
We've had no official announcement, no official email, no official truth social post from Trump as of now, as of this broadcast.
So we really don't know, and so maybe there is some hostage-taking going on.
Here was Mike Lee back at, let's see, 1042 Central Time, 1142 Eastern Time, saying they were casting ballots.
Now...
And do we have this?
Laura Luma reporting this was the first.
So we really don't know, and so maybe there is some hostage-taking going on.
Here was Mike Lee back at, let's see, 10, this is Central Time, 1042 Central Time, 1142 Eastern Time, saying they were casting ballots.
Now...
And do we have this?
Laura Luma reporting this was the first ballot.
Thune got 23, Cornyn got 15, Scott got 13.
So would this possibly mean that Thune is going to get it?
I don't know.
There is some political analysis out there.
I heard Steve Bannon say that it would be better to get Cornyn in there because he's actually up for election in two years in Texas and the voters might actually finally be able to hold him accountable.
It's embarrassing that a state like Texas has a senator as useless as Cornyn.
It really is.
We also have this.
Jerome Corsi, who was on the program about a week before the election, talking about the ghost voter rolls.
By the way, we had a great interview with Dr.
Andrew Paquette on Friday.
You can check this out.
It's also up at my Twitter page, at RealPaulHarrell.
About these ghost voter rolls.
But he writes in The American Thinker, the deep state war on Trump has already begun.
One of the biggest threats to the CIA and the intelligence agencies as a whole is Trump's unyielding determination to declassify documents that will jeopardize the existence of many agencies.
Including his voter rolls.
But he writes in The American Thinker, the deep state war on Trump has already begun.
One of the biggest threats to the CIA and the intelligence agencies as a whole is Trump's unyielding determination to declassify documents that will jeopardize the existence of many agencies.
Including the DOJ, FBI, DHS, CIA, and NSA. The Obama radical woke left has not abandoned lawfare and the deep state scenario to make sure Trump is never inaugurated is revealed in my latest article published over at the American Thinker.
And I've got that article.
Can we just take a step, a moment though?
And I know the pomp and circumstance.
Some people even said, I know the National File Twitter account put this out a second ago, or maybe an hour ago, that the pomp and circumstance of Trump coming to D.C. is actually distracting from the focus that would be on the secret ballot.
You know, originally, I'm told, so the building that it was scheduled to escapes my mind, but they moved it at the last minute to the old Senate chamber.
And, you know, what you also have to think about is you've got J.D. Vance in there, who is still a senator from Ohio, who is their, you know, a firsthand eyewitness account that can, you know, presumably report back to the Trump administration.
But here's what Corsi writes, the deep state war against Donald Trump begins.
And, you know, what you also have to think about is you've got J.D. Vance in there, who is still a senator from Ohio, who is their, you know, a firsthand eyewitness account that can, you know, presumably report back to the Trump administration.
But here's what Corsi writes.
The deep state war against Donald Trump begins.
And he's warning Trump here.
In a video posted on X on November 7, 2024, two days after the election, Trump detailed a plan to dismantle the deep state.
In this three-minute video, Trump explained how he would take a series of measures to shatter the deep state.
In this video, Trump made the same mistake JFK made when JFK said he was going to break the CIA into a thousand pieces after the Bay of Pigs fiasco.
By announcing his intention in advance, JFK signed his death warrant.
Trump has now declared war on the deep state as president-elect.
Now, speaking of JFK and John Ratcliffe, John Ratcliffe getting the nomination to be the head of the CIA. Some people think that's great.
Some people have mixed emotions about it.
The only thing that matters is whether or not he's going to release the JFK. Will John Ratcliffe stand in the way of releasing the JFK files, which would go directly against the promise that was so clearly given to RFK Because RFK is on record saying that the CIA murdered my father and my uncle.
That's the only question that matters.
That really will tell you everything you need to know about what kind of rat lifts stand in the way of releasing the JFK files, which would go directly against the promise that was so clearly given to RFK because RFK is on record saying that the CIA murdered my father and my uncle.
That's the only question that matters.
That really will tell you everything you need to know about what kind of person John Ratcliffe will be in the CIA position.
Also, rumors still swirling that Kash Patel is going to get the FBI nod.
Again, no official announcements on that.
But he says, in the video, Trump made the mistake that JFK made when JFK said that he was going to break the CIA into a thousand pieces after the Bay of Pigs.
Because he spoke before he was inaugurated, giving him the power to act, Trump alerted the deep state that he presented and represents an existential threat to its survival.
The bottom line is that the deep state cannot afford for Trump to become president on January 20th, 2025.
Okay, so, and there's a lot of people that feel this way, and there's a lot of people that are kind of They're holding their breath between now and January 6th and January 20th, and that is certainly understandable.
Speaking of articles, so we have this.
I'm going to pipe this in.
This is Bannon's take briefly this morning.
Just listen to this with Peter Navarro.
Today, we're not winning on Capitol Hill.
We're not.
They're going to glad hand you.
They're going to sit there like little children and take those photos.
Let me get a photo of President Trump.
Speaking of articles, so we have this.
I'm going to pipe this in.
This is Bannon's take briefly this morning.
Just listen to this.
With Peter Navarro.
Today, we're not winning on Capitol Hill.
We're not.
They're going to glad hand you.
They're going to sit there like little children and take those photos.
Let me get a photo of President Trump.
Got to get a photo.
They'll crawl all over the...
Yeah, go ahead.
Yeah, so that's Peter Navarro, and I think Bannon is right.
I think the fix is in when it comes to Cornyn or Thune.
Again, if you're just joining us, Rick Scott losing on the first ballot, so now it's between John Thune and John Cornyn.
But interesting, a couple of days ago, we have Peter Navarro.
By the way, both of these men on screen are political prisoners.
I want you to just marinate on that for a second.
I think this is profound that both of these men served time at the hands of a justice system that was weaponized against political supporters of Donald Trump.
That's something that has to be remarked at here.
And now they're free.
And now Trump is going back to the White House.
Here's Peter Navarro, let's see, two days ago.
Now Trump is going back to the White House.
Here's Peter Navarro, let's see, two days ago.
On November 13th, Senate Republicans will hide behind closed doors and elect a new majority leader.
If current Republican leader Mitch McConnell has his way, he will saddle President-elect Donald Trump with one of two never-Trump anti-tariff open-border Republicans in name only, John Cornyn of Texas or John Thune of South Dakota.
If either Mr.
Cornyn or Mr.
Thune is elected to be Mr.
McConnell's Pope...
And Mr.
Trump's nemesis, the new Senate majority leader will strangle Mr.
Trump's cabinet appointees in their cribs and set back implementation of the Trump agenda by months, an agenda endorsed by a landslide of American people.
Well, that's what they're going to do.
I mean, you look at how everybody freaked out.
When Donald Trump, when he announced that he was going to pick J.D. Vance, a lot of people, I mean, myself included, I was like, I don't understand this pick.
Now I do understand the pick, by the way.
Now I do get it.
But you listen to Tucker Carlson said, only thing I know about J.D. Vance is all the people that I know are bad in Washington are upset over the pick of J.D. Vance.
Now we're going to talk about Pete Hegseth here in a minute because a similar situation is occurring.
And this pick.
And like with any situation, it is a gray area, but if you follow me on Twitter, I am...
I am optimistically encouraged, and I'll tell you why here later in the program.
And it has to do with, yes, that's right, somebody who's outspoken about their Christian faith and the faith tradition that they're a part of.
So we'll get to that here in just a minute.
Again, at the bottom of the hour, we're going to be talking with Corin Clifford.
She's going to be with us.
She's going to be streaming in with us on the ground in Washington, D.C. as all of this unfolds.
As a matter of fact, what we could do here is just real quick, I just want to see where we're at.
Okay, so here's the news.
Charlie Kirk reporting.
Breaking Senator John Thune from South Dakota has been elected the new Senate Majority Leader.
John Thune, of course, this gives him insulation.
He's not up for re-election.
And so the swamp...
The swamp lives.
And they did it behind closed doors.
Ivan Raiklin, a few minutes ago, from South Dakota, has been elected the new Senate Majority Leader.
John Thune, of course, this gives him insulation.
He's not up for re-election.
And so the swamp lives.
And they did it behind closed doors.
Ivan Raiklin, a few minutes ago, the senators are hiding in the old Senate chambers, privately scheming who their Senate majority leader will be.
28 minutes earlier, Ivan Raiklin saying, Speaker Johnson will remain a speaker.
Senate voting on majority leader.
President Trump meeting with the CCP agent Biden in the White House.
He says, I'm concerned that the transition is eerily too smooth.
They have tricks up their sleeves.
I don't trust the Democrats.
Yeah, you and me both, Ivan.
None of us do.
Absolutely none of us do.
What else do we have here?
Yeah, again, this was, say what you want to, President Donald Trump being the president in exile for the last four years, the last three and a half, four years.
And he's back in the White House.
You've got to wonder how this makes the liberals absolutely steve.
I know that may not be productive, In terms of what we're facing this particular day.
But I do think it's worth time to just kind of sit back four years.
And he's back, you know, back in the White House.
You got to wonder how this makes the liberals absolutely steve.
I know that may not be productive in terms of what we're facing this particular day, but I do think it's worth time to just kind of sit back and once again say, as we've been saying on the show, that the Lord God is much more merciful to us than we deserve, even though right now this that the Lord God is much more merciful to us than we deserve, even though right
This is where you put the nose to the grindstone and actually work and try to prevent these people from undoing everything the American people voted for in the last election.
Trump arrives as Senator Scurry.
Yeah, so this was Trump arriving in D.C. earlier.
So the quest, you know, the quest was to get them to open the vote so we actually know the senators, how they're going to vote, or delay the vote.
None of that happened.
Well, I think they might have delayed it for a couple of hours, but that's about it.
For a couple of hours, but that's about it.
For a couple of hours, I'm going to go to the next one.
Yeah.
And so, sorry, I'm just checking the live stream going on right now.
Yeah, Swampy Senate holds secret vote.
That is for sure.
So all the pomp and circumstance just happened to be scheduled for the exact same time the Senate legislative body in the most powerful nation in the world is electing their majority leader by secret ballot.
And only one senator demanded a delay, and that senator was Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.
We're going to be talking with Corinne Clifford, I cannot say her name, forgive me, here at the bottom of the hour.
This is her earlier today.
I am in front of the Senate at the U.S. Capitol.
Now behind me, look how gorgeous that is.
That's the Washington Monument.
Can you see that?
It's right there.
It is a beautiful day.
I cannot say her name, forgive me.
Here at the bottom of the hour, this is her earlier today.
I am in front of Senate at the U.S. Capitol.
Now behind me, look how gorgeous that is.
That's the Washington Monument.
Can you see that?
It's right there.
It is a beautiful day in Washington DC. President Trump is in DC today, so it's glorious.
And listen, Senate is doing something really uncool.
They're having a top secret meeting to vote on who should be.
The next Senate majority leader.
That vote should be a public vote.
I've been saying that for the last week.
Mitch McConnell has had the role of Senate majority leader for over 17 years.
And it's shocking that all of a sudden Mitch McConnell and John Thune and John Cornyn, these three senators, decide, oh, we're all of a sudden going to have a meeting.
And top secret, of course, no press invited to decide who's going to be the next Senate majority leader.
And I'm just telling you this, that's not what we the people want.
We want full transparency with our elected officials, especially all elected officials that we pay their salary with U.S. taxpayer dollars.
We pay their salary, we pay their staff, we pay their And I'm just telling you this, that's not what we the people want.
We want full transparency with our elected officials, especially all elected officials that we pay their salary with US taxpayer dollars.
We pay their salary, we pay their staff, we pay their travel.
We want full transparency.
So the fact that there is a top-secret vote happening in Senate today for the next Senate majority leader, that's not okay anymore.
And we, the people, need to take action.
So call to action.
Call your senators.
Well, the vote's over.
That's the thing.
That was earlier in the day.
The vote's over, and Thune has won.
So, uh...
We'll see what the mood is on the ground here in just a minute.
Before we go any further, though, I want to tell you about Neutronics Labs and Man's Edge.
We're in the midst of a testosterone crisis, there's no doubt.
You know, if you're one of these guys who feels, you know, you're older, I'm 40 now, and you start to feel like you have less energy, you have less stamina, it It's probably their testosterone levels.
Let's be honest.
We have less testosterone on average than our grandparents did.
By the way, a second Trump administration might be the perfect time.
I've seen the people saying that they feel like they have less energy.
You have less stamina.
It's probably your testosterone levels.
Let's be honest.
We have less testosterone on average than our grandparents did.
By the way, a second Trump administration might be the perfect time.
I've seen the people saying out there, yeah, Trump got a second term.
Let's have another baby, right?
And so if that's you and you're older, you're going to need all the help you can get, right?
So over at Neutronics Labs, they've got something called Man's Edge.
They also have IGF-1.
They have all kinds of great products over there for you to try.
They've got products even for women.
But if you want a superior quality testosterone supplement...
Then you've got to check out Man's Edge by Neutronics Labs.
And if you'll go to NeutronicsLabs.com slash Paul and use my name, Paul, you'll save 10%.
You save even more if you sign up for auto ship.
That's NeutronicsLabs.com slash Paul.
It's a great time to get back in shape.
I've been taking this stuff now for five weeks, and I feel so much better.
I do have more energy.
And the first thing that I noticed, interestingly enough, the first thing I noticed when taking this was that I got much better sleep.
Imagine that.
That was the first thing.
It's almost like the body just needs...
the sleep in order to be able to you know function in other capacities.
I have more energy and the first thing that I noticed interestingly enough the first thing I noticed when taking this was that I got much better sleep imagine that that was the first thing it's almost like you know the body just needs the sleep in order to be able to you know function in other capacities Alright, so we're going to get back to the news here.
And we're going to have to talk about Pete Hegseth here in a minute.
We might as well do that now.
I mean, I've got an entire separate...
Let's see, what other things have I pegged here before we go any further?
J.D. Vance arriving at the Capitol.
There's really nothing to see there other than him walking in the building.
We've got more reporting there.
Let's see.
What do we got?
Yeah, Thune will win.
This was from earlier in the day.
You know what?
Before we do that, you know what it's actually time for?
I'm sorry.
I haven't...
We haven't done this segment in a long while, and so while we're waiting, I tell you what, this is...
It's now time for my favorite segment, okay?
I'm already against women clergy.
You don't have to convince me.
And let us confess our faith today in the words of the Sparkle Creed.
I believe in the non-binary God.
And so while we're waiting, I tell you what, this is...
It's now time for my favorite segment, okay?
I'm already against women clergy.
You don't have to convince me.
And let us confess our faith today in the words of the Sparkle Creed.
I believe in the non-binary God.
And now it's time for I'm Already Against Women Clergy.
You don't have to convince me.
Okay, so for this edition of I'm Already Against Women Clergy, You Don't Have to Convince Me, we're going to turn courtesy of Protestia.
We're going to turn back here.
So this is Protestia saying, the overly melodramatic woke impastor explains why you're going to hell for voting for Trump.
So this is some of the fallout.
Again, this is our segment, I'm Already Against Women Clergy, You Don't Have to Convince Me.
Let's take a listen.
What does she have to say?
supporters you are going to hell for this you are you're going to hell for this you have blatantly disregarded your neighbor you have failed to care for the widowed the orphaned and the immigrant you have committed idolatry and you have become lost in your greed and your lusts you are proud and envious and you will face that reality on judgment day a lot of you has regarded your neighbor you have failed to care For the widowed,
the orphaned, and the immigrant.
You have committed idolatry.
And you have become lost in your greed and your lusts.
You are proud and envious.
And you will face that reality on Judgment Day.
A lot of you have become too arrogant to believe that you could go to hell.
A lot of you have become so idolatrous that you don't think that man could get you there.
But you are wrong.
And I have never felt something with such conviction in my entire life.
Hang on.
I know what you guys are thinking.
I know it.
I'm not ignorant of this fact.
Just bear with me.
And I don't come to you as a saint.
I come to you as a fellow sinner.
You can repent.
You can walk away from this.
You can start to atone.
But I doubt any of you will.
I think that if God himself came down from the heavens, laid hands upon Donald Trump and called him the Antichrist, you would still follow him.
Because what?
He's promising to make eggs a little cheaper?
Like, I'm not happy with the price of eggs either, but I am not willing to risk my eternal soul for it.
I am not going to place a convicted predator into a position of power in the hopes that gas will be under $3 a gallon.
I mean, if we're talking about a predator...
Because what?
He's promising to make eggs a little cheaper?
Like, I'm not happy with the price of eggs either, but I am not willing to risk my eternal soul for it.
I am not going to place a convicted predator into a position of power in the hopes that gas will be under $3 a gallon.
I am a simple man, and I am not that greedy.
You had two choices that did not involve you putting into office the best friend of one of the most prolific child traffickers in modern history.
You could have downsized your life, gotten rid of that big giant truck of yours, and all your expensive weapons, or you could have gone out and fought for higher pay.
Or an end to corporate corruption.
You chose to do neither of those things because it was easier to blame immigrants.
I like the world view really shining through here.
You could have gotten rid of your fancy gas guzzling truck and gotten rid of all those expensive weapons.
And that is laziness.
That is sloth.
You saw hatred as the path of least resistance and the best way to maintain your lifestyle.
And you took it.
You took it at the expense of the lives of so many of the neighbors you are supposed to be loving.
You have failed as a Christian.
You have failed to live up to the expectations of Christ.
And we all do at some point or another.
And the best way to maintain your lifestyle.
And you took it.
You took it at the expense of the lives of so many of the neighbors you are supposed to be loving.
You have failed as a Christian.
You have failed to live up to the expectations of Christ.
And we all do at some point or another.
But you need to repent.
And I don't believe in hell as a place of eternal fire.
No.
I think hell is going to be something so much worse for you.
Because if you got thrown into a pit of fire, if you were tortured for all eternity, you would never learn anything.
You would just feel slighted by God.
I'm just going to go ahead and stop right here and say, so this is actually a new development.
Hell is actually a real place where real people go.
You know, she doesn't...
She...
I know.
This impastor doesn't believe it's the fire.
It is the fire, by the way.
It is the fire.
But hey, this is a new development.
They actually are so these mainline Protestant denominations, I'm assuming, that have gone completely apostate and thrown away the Bible, thrown away what the Bible says about women in authority over men in a church context, in a church officer context, not to mention the whole L-G-B-T-Q-R-S-T-L-N-E. Would you like to buy a vowel?
Enclave.
Finishing up here.
You'd fall on your knees and feel persecuted.
And thrown away the Bible.
Thrown away what the Bible says about women in authority over men in a church context.
In a church officer context.
Not to mention the whole...
L-G-B-T-Q-R-S-T-L-N-E. Would you like to buy a vowel?
Enclave.
Finishing up here.
You'd fall on your knees and feel persecuted.
And you'd cozy up to the devil for perks.
Because that is what you have been doing for your entire life.
So, you know, you've heard me talk about how both sides of the equation in this country believe firmly that they have the moral high ground.
I submit to you evidence supporting that statement.
That is what you did with this election.
No.
Here's what I think hell is for you.
I think hell is a place where you're going to have to face the fact that you were wrong.
And you're going to have to sit there in the silence, in the emptiness, in the nothingness, for however long it takes you to figure it out.
For however long it takes for you to learn how to live in a society with other people in it.
We live in a society.
We live in a society here, people.
...is the burning you will feel.
Okay, so, alright, so in this, this is our segment.
We have a reoccurring segment, right?
I already, I already don't believe in women clergy.
You don't have to convince me.
And I selected this one on purpose because we live in a society here, people.
Is the burning you will feel.
Okay, so, alright, so in this, this is our segment.
We have a reoccurring segment, right?
I already, I already don't believe in women clergy.
You don't have to convince me.
And I selected this one on purpose because...
Because Lizzie here says, real question, is this a prostate or ovary owner?
Genuinely have no idea.
This is very much a pat.
First one says, pretty sure it's a female.
Tragedy.
And then other people disagree, though.
They're saying, no, I think this is actually a dude.
I'm inclined to believe this is a girly man.
And so if this is, in fact, a girly man and not a woman, then this person would not qualify for our segment.
But, you know, it really doesn't.
I'm tired of the guessing, folks.
I'm tired of the guessing.
Anyway, so, you know, you guys know the drill.
This has been I'm Already Against Women Clergy.
You don't have to convince me.
All right, so joining us now, I see we have Corin Clifford is with us, and we're going to bring her in.
She is live reporting from Washington, D.C. Corin, welcome to the Milstone Reports.
Thank you so much for being with us.
I am so grateful to be with you.
I am in front of Senate.
So joining us now, I see we have Corin Clifford is with us and we're going to bring her in.
She is live reporting from Washington, D.C. Corin, welcome to the Milson Reports.
Thank you so much for being with us.
I am so grateful to be with you.
I am in front of Senate and a lot is happening today.
Yeah, so I mean, I understand John Thune's been elected.
That's the latest that I heard, that Rick Scott lost on the first ballot.
Thune won on the second ballot.
Can you tell us what's the feeling on the ground there in Washington, D.C.? So that is the breaking news.
Senator Thune from South Dakota did win the race for the Senate Majority Leader, which is a tragedy because right now President Trump is at the White House.
Elon Musk joined him, and Senator Thune does not support President Trump.
So this is going to be a huge mess.
All of the pro-Trump people need to realize that this vote never should have happened.
And since last week, you know, real journalists like you and me and The National File have been telling everyone this vote needs to be public, number one.
But number two, it needs to be postponed.
Now we have the Senator Thune Oh.
You know, and you just got to wonder, like, and I think you mentioned this in some of your coverage earlier in the morning, you know, when America went and voted for Donald Trump, we were not voting for Mitch McConnell 2.0.
We were not voting for that brand.
I mean, it's very, very obvious that Donald Trump was, well, he's just a wrecking ball when it comes to their version of what Washington, D.C. should look like.
And yet, they don't want to take a hint, right?
I mean, here's a guy who survived all of the lawfare, the intel oligarchs, they frame him for treason.
You have people like Thune, you have people like Cornyn, who were piling on as the lawfare was going on.
And we're saying he can't win, he can't be elected.
Echoing, by the way, what Paul Ryan even says.
I mean, that's what this really is.
This is essentially the Paul Ryan wing reasserting its authority and locking things down.
The lawfare was going on, and we're saying he can't win, he can't be elected, echoing, by the way, what Paul Ryan even says.
I mean, that's what this really is.
This is essentially the Paul Ryan wing reasserting its authority and locking things down.
Now, there's also a report, Corin, out there that whether or not Trump gets his recess appointments or doesn't get his recess appointments depends on who Donald Trump puts in for Secretary of State.
We had 48 hours ago Marco Rubio was going to be Secretary of State, yet Donald Trump actually hasn't made that announcement.
That's all been leaks.
So, I mean, there could be some hostage-taking going on here in terms of, hey, we're not going to give you your recess appointments unless you put a neocon as the Secretary of State.
What do you think about that?
Are you hearing anything about that?
I mean, I'm hearing that it could be Marco Rubio, but you know, that would not be a really wise decision either, and that's what I'm concerned about.
The people that are getting picked are not the wisest of choices, and so I'm concerned because we, the people, America First pro-Trumpers, Really voted for President Trump so that he would put our people into power and that's not happening enough, as you know.
Getting picked are not the wisest of choices and so I'm concerned because we, the people, America First pro-Trumpers, really voted for President Trump so that he would put our people And that's not happening enough as you know.
So what we need to do is potentially try to get this vote to happen again because it's not fair that Mitch McConnell called this vote.
It was called a couple weeks early and Mitch McConnell has controlled Senate for over 17 years.
Mitch McConnell's time in Senate is over but now he's got his predecessor Senator Thune and this isn't gonna be good for anything MAGA and it's not good for anything that President Trump wants to do because these are deep state actors and they don't stand for we the people and they don't care about the MAGA movement and they definitely don't place America First.
We need to make sure that all of the other picks for every single cabinet member is America First MAGA. Well, you know, what's interesting is, it's just kind of dawning on me, it could very well be, you know, McConnell, you're talking about how he called the vote so early, ahead of schedule.
I feel like this is a...
It's almost a panic in a way.
I think his re-election has sent such shockwaves and such a panic that this is their reaction.
So they're absolutely terrified, I believe.
I called Trump the president in exile.
I have for, you know, a while now.
He's no longer the president in exile.
He's actually back in D.C. today.
Do you think that the pomp and circumstance of Trump, so a lot of people thought Trump coming into D.C. the day they were holding this vote was going to somehow send a message, hey, don't do this, but they did it anyway.
And then there's the other side of things, which is Trump's visit actually distracted from what they just did in secret.
What are your thoughts on that, Corrin Clifford?
It's 100% true.
I was just at the White House.
Now, listen, there's no anti-Trump protesters at the White House, which is the first time in history of me being in Washington, D.C., that I've ever witnessed that.
I've been in D.C. since January 2021.
So that's really good.
But there is going to be a lot of things that are going to happen in the next, what, 90 days?
Less than 90 days that we have before the inauguration.
And we just saw it today, the fact that Mitch McConnell Pulled a fast one and called a vote early is his fault, but also only Senator Ron Johnson said we should postpone the vote.
Only Senator Ron Johnson stood up and said anything about making this vote public because the vote should have been public.
They all want to keep their seniority.
They all want to make sure they get the committee that they were promised.
Because they've known McConnell was going to step down now for months.
And so they've all been jockeying for that.
It's absolutely ridiculous.
Corin Clifford, thank you so much for being with us.
And people can check out your great reporting over on your X account.
It's right there on the screen at Corin Clifford.
Clifford's spelled with one F, not two.
And I really do appreciate you being on the Millstone Report.
Thank you so much.
Yes, God bless you.
All right, God bless you, Corinne.
God bless America.
God bless America.
That's exactly right.
Folks, you know, if you're just joining us, that's the news.
John Thune has been selected.
Rick Scott got some votes, didn't qualify, was basically ruled out, voted out on the first ballot.
And, you know, what's funny is...
It's not funny.
It's just how the swamp works.
It's how any swamp works.
These guys, if they have a chance, they will vote in secret.
They will vote with roll call votes instead of, you know, voice votes.
Sorry, they won't do a roll call vote.
They'll do voice votes any time they can, that sort of thing.
They always love to do that stuff because it actually...
It insulates them from the accountability.
It insulates them from the voter.
And right now, after this last election, they're more terrified of the voter than ever.
I would argue they're more terrified of you, the American people, than ever before after this last landslide victory of Donald Trump.
But it also shows you that it's not about winning to them.
You know, this is not about winning.
That was all a psyop.
That was all a lie.
The idea that, well, I mean, we've got to be the Mitch McConnell type of Republican.
We've got to be the Paul Ryan type of Republican because that's the only way we're going to win a national election.
That's clearly not the case now, and now that it's been proven, now that New Jersey is now a swing state, according to some, because it's close.
You've got these liberal blue states that moved to Trump 7, 8, 9 points.
Oh, no, no, no.
We're still going to make sure we entrench the swamp.
We're still going to make sure that we...
Protect ourselves, right?
And so it was never about electability.
It was never about, well, this is the only strategy that we...
You've got to listen to the experts.
You've got to listen to the Karl Rove's of the world.
It was never about that.
Because now they've been proven wrong.
Trump won Nevada, okay?
Right?
He won Nevada.
That wasn't supposed to happen.
He won the blue wall.
That wasn't supposed to happen, even though they're still finding votes, by the way.
And so it's just...
It's ridiculous.
So they're exposed and they do it by secret so that their voters won't be able to hold them accountable.
Although there are some who admitted they were going to back Cornyn or who admitted they were going to back Thune.
Thune getting in is worse.
Cornyn might have been better because Cornyn's up for re-election in Texas in two years.
Thune is not.
So Mitch McConnell's nonsense goes on.
And you've got to wonder what kind of deals were made, what kind of deals will be made.
What does Donald Trump do with this now?
What does he do as the president-elect, as he's picking DOD picks like Pete Hegseth, which is sending the Department of Defense, according to some reports, into chaos.
They're freaking out over it.
Now everybody wants to talk about qualifications.
Yeah.
It's pretty wild stuff.
Folks, before we go any further, I want to tell you about Cortez Wealth Management and Carlos Cortez.
So, in this wake of a second Trump victory, there's a lot of things that are going to be changing here.
And you also never know of a planned financial economic collapse, by the way, because I think Trump has soundly bested a lot of the intel oligarchs.
I do, not to say that they're not going to try to kill him again, but I think that he has bested the intel oligarchs.
It took him almost a decade to do it, but they have one more emergency.
The national debt does not matter until people want it to matter, right?
So you still, even though the economy looks bright, we still don't know what the future is.
Quit giving your money to people like BlackRock or companies that are influenced by BlackRock, okay?
Find out what an America First investment strategy is.
Find out what an America First retirement plan is and call Carlos Cortez at 813-448-3446 because he puts your money in places and in vehicles that are not going to fund things that hate you, okay?
CortezWM.com That's CortezWM.com or call 813-448-3446 Alright, let's get back to this.
Because we have a few things.
We have a lot of things to get to, as a matter of fact.
There was a rumor, and it is just a rumor, because I have refreshed and other people have reported.
So there was a phony Donald Trump press statement saying that Tucker Carlson had been selected to be his Secretary of State.
That is not true.
So if you're seeing that on X, it is not true.
It has still not been put up on the Twitter—still not been put up over on his Truth Social, rather.
Okay.
So in response to Trump picking his cabinet, a guy by the name of Chris D. Jackson, who is— Let's see the blue wave.
He's a party chairman.
He's got his picture outside the White House, right?
So this guy has decided to kind of gloat about the LGBTQRSTL and the makeup of the Democrats.
So as Trump is trying to pick his cabinet, we got a guy, a Democrat, saying, diverse, qualified, productive.
That's the Biden cabinet.
Only now do we realize just how lucky we were.
Okay.
Well, so I'm approaching this from a Christian standpoint, and that's why Jeremy Carl, who's a friend of the program, used to be working under the Trump administration, Department Assistant Secretary of the Interior, Jeremy Carl, good guy.
He says Biden's cabinet had zero straight, white, Protestant men among its 26 members.
Let me say that again.
Biden's cabinet had zero straight white Protestant men among its 26 members.
And so with the news yesterday that Pete Hexeth has been selected to try to go through the confirmation process to become the secretary of defense.
I mean, look, the first thing that I noticed was CrossPolitik, the CrossPolitik podcast, telling all of us that, matter of fact, Pete Hexeth now goes to what's called a CREC church, which is a Presbyterian denomination.
It's a small Presbyterian denomination that is, you know, reformed.
And if you guys are familiar with Pastor in Idaho, Doug Wilson from Moscow, Idaho, that's that same denomination.
And I thought, wait, what?
You've got to be absolutely kidding me.
Are you serious?
That is incredibly good news to me.
As someone who's a Presbyterian myself, not of that particular denomination, but I couldn't believe it.
So that got me thinking, because I also know of reported moral failures of Pete Hexeth and everything else, and I know everybody wants to rush and wants to talk about them, that So here's Ben Zeiss.
We're going to get to a bunch of takes here because it's all over the place.
Let's just start with Daughtery.
So here's Daughtery.
Pentagon stunned and worried over Trump's selection of Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.
The news was met with bewilderment and worry among many in Washington.
Hegseth's choice could bring sweeping changes to the military.
So sweeping changes to the military.
He has made it clear on his show and interviews.
Okay.
So he's opposed to the woke programs.
Okay.
Then we have this.
Men with seven children, five of them sons, generally do not want to go to war.
They don't want the world to go to war.
The responses will be he had multiple wives, which is true.
The responses will be he's pro-Israel.
And then he says, look, this is 9mm.
Nearly everyone at every level of government is outside.
A few Democrats is pro-Israel.
If you thought for a moment, even a moment, you'd get a Secretary of Defense that was not pro-Israel, I don't understand where your head could be at.
Yeah, I expected this as well.
He's done a lot of good for vets, and any man that knows the trauma war causes firsthand is less likely to promote one.
So we've got a guy who's actually been overseas.
Got bronze stars.
Okay.
And then we have this.
He was on a podcast a few days ago, and he started talking about...
Is this the War Games one with China?
Listen to this.
The Pentagon is in the book the exact amount of years, but in the past X number of years, 10, 12, 15, the Pentagon has a perfect record in all of its war games against China.
We lose every time.
Inside the Pentagon War Games.
We know what our real capabilities...
You see, we didn't even get into this part of the War on Warriors.
I mean, the military industrial complex, the way we procure weapons systems, you know, we're always...
The way our system works, the way our bureaucratic system works, where the speed of weapons procurement works, we're always...
A decade behind in fighting the last war.
Whereas China...
What did Rumsfeld say?
You go to the war, the army you have.
China's building an army specifically dedicated to defeating the United States of America.
That is their strategic outset.
Take hypersonic missiles.
So if our whole power projection platform is aircraft carriers and the ability to project power that way strategically around the globe, and yeah, we have a nuclear triad and all of that, but a big part of it And if, you know, 15 hypersonic missiles can take out our 10 aircraft carriers in the first 20 minutes of a conflict, what does that look like?
I mean, if they've already got us by the balls economically, which you pointed out very well, with our grid, culturally there's plenty of elite capture going on around the globe.
I mean and then microchips and everything.
Why do they want Taiwan?
They want to corner the market completely on the technological future.
We can't even drive our cars without the stuff we need out of China these days.
I mean, they have a full-spectrum, long-term view of not just regional but global domination, and we have our heads up our asses.
Yeah.
Look, I mean, that's certainly not the—that's an honest assessment.
I mean, that's my assessment of where we are strategically, based on, you know, listening to people like Douglas McGregor, who, by the way, we've got a tweet to cover from him here in just a moment.
Nate Fisher responding to Christy Jackson.
So we're replacing a former four-star general as defense secretary with the weekend co-host at Fox& Friends.
Unbelievable just wow.
Nate Fisher over at New Founding says some whine about Hexat's military rank, but secretary of defense was not traditionally a career military officer.
Civilian oversight of the military is a key pillar of our political system.
Some other takes.
Michael Cassidy, the Christian hero who tore off the head of the Baphomet statue at the Iowa Statehouse.
About a year ago, about 11 months ago, Pete Hegseth isn't qualified, right?
So we see the difference.
And back to Jeremy Carl and not one straight white Protestant male in the Biden cabinet.
William Wolfe, media claim Trump's cabinet pick received a harsh backlash.
Translation, the worst people in America, D.C. insiders don't like it.
Conclusion, it's an awesome choice for the American people.
Now here's Torba, because this kind of goes back to America's policy in the Middle East.
Andrew says, And this has to go with all these other cabinet picks,
which is a mixed bag.
Even if we get Marco Rubio, which I'm hoping that we don't.
I'm hoping that we don't.
This was an interesting segment, but we don't have time for it right now.
We may come back to it.
Sean Davis, the worst people on earth are mad, which means this is the best possible pick.
I don't know about best possible pick, but man, I feel like we could do a whole lot worse.
Jeremy Carl, again, the piece from Politico on Hexeth is so revealing the job of the Secretary of Defense is to carry out the President's policies.
Nobody elected anyone inside the Pentagon.
So this is the idea that the Pentagon is freaking out.
And then we have this clip as well.
In 2016, I was under consideration by Trump to be his VA secretary.
Nice.
I was interviewed multiple times.
In fact, I was down to the final two.
And, you know, go up to Trump Tower, up the elevator, sit with him, talk about it.
And ultimately, I think he thought I was a little young and all that.
But I remember he called me at one point in the process, and he said...
Pete, I want to pick you.
I want to pick you, but there's one problem.
Why do all the veterans groups hate you?
And I sort of laughed.
And he goes, no, but they hate you.
And I'm like, well, Mr.
President, let me tell you why.
Because outside the box thinking of, say, providing private choice for veterans is a threat, complete threat to the ecosystem around the government bureaucracy and the VA and the veterans groups.
I mean, if the veterans were all well served, what would you need a lot of these programs for?
That's kind of like the Second Amendment of the NRA.
I'm not saying the NRA doesn't do good things, but if constitutional carry was restored throughout America, what do we need the NRA for?
They exist to defend their territory.
And they'll say, oh, it's for the betterment of the vets.
Well, if vets are getting better treatment from nonconventional places, why aren't we exploring that?
Well, the bureaucracy can't handle that.
The bureaucracy cannot handle it.
That's right.
So this was the podcast five days ago, and this was the big deal, because biblically, women should not be in combat.
Let me say that again.
In the Bible, it is very clear that it is a dishonor.
It is sinful to send women to war.
I'm straight up just saying we should not have women in combat roles.
It hasn't made us more effective, hasn't made us more lethal, has made fighting more complicated.
We've all served with women and they're great.
It's just our institutions don't have to incentivize that in places where traditionally, not traditionally, over human history, men in those positions are more capable.
I'm straight up just saying we should not have women in combat roles.
Fantastic.
thick.
He also doesn't believe, and he thinks all of the generals that were behind any of the woke stuff should be fired, the transgender stuff, in the military, all of that.
The Pentagon is, in the book, the exact amount of years, but in the past X number of years, 10, 12, 15, the Pentagon has a perfect record in all of its war games.
Never mind, that's a redundant clip there.
Let me get something else.
Yeah, we saw this.
This was interesting, outgoing Secretary of Defense.
I posted, this guy looks like Darth Vader.
And this is why, look, if you say what you want to, the pushback, in my opinion, the pushback on Pete Hexeth is going to be that he is a Christian, that he is a Protestant Christian.
That's my opinion.
So here it is.
The boys over at CrossPolitik Podcast, they say that when they heard this statement last night, they said, huge win.
Pete Hegseth is a godly Christian man.
He is a member of a CREC church and classically educates his kids.
He'll get the wokeness out of the military, which will unfathomably bless our nation.
Alright, now, so one of the hosts, Gabe Wrench, from Cross Politics, says, Yes, we are very aware of Pete's past.
He has been very transparent about it to me personally.
It is true he did not live for Christ for years, which got him into his third marriage, and it is also true that he repented of those sins and is following Christ now.
Death and resurrection, repentance and restoration is now who Pete is, and that is why he is now a godly man.
So yeah, there are moral failings, public moral failings that we know about, but we know what the gospel is, right?
What does Christ do?
He saves people from their sins, right?
And that is a mercy from heaven.
So it's interesting because, I mean, as we keep going for, I mean, here's another example.
I don't know what date he posted this, but so I want us to marinate on this for a second, okay?
This is Pete Hexeth.
This is the guy, you know, this is the guy who may be the next Secretary of Defense posting that Jesus died for us.
Jesus Christ was sinless.
But he died for our sins.
We don't deserve his grace, but he gives it freely.
Today he is in the grave, but Sunday he rises.
Christ is king.
This phrase that we've even been told by some is an anti-Semitic dog whistle.
Pete Hexeth saying that Christ is king.
A.D. Robles reminding us that not only that, but if you're in Christian reform circles like I am, this was not on my bingo card.
And I know, look, I know you can always find something negative to say, but Pete Hegseth, Deus Volt, has a tattoo of Deus Volt on his arms.
Which means God wills it.
This is an old-fashioned way of saying that God is sovereign and God is in control.
And I'm telling you, that right there is more terrifying.
Somebody that knows this, somebody that proclaims this, somebody that relies on that, is more of a threat to the Washington, D.C. swamp.
The military-industrial complex, which he even, that phrase, military-industrial complex, It's something that Pete Hegseth has talked about.
And then, just on a personal note, on the education of our kids, this will resonate with a lot of conservatives right here.
It should.
But what are you doing about your own family?
What do you do about your kids and your grandkids?
That's what you have to save right now.
Find The potential incoming Secretary of Defense knows what Classical Conversations is?
I'm just trying to illustrate.
Maybe you guys don't know what Classical Conversations...
This is a very niche, homeschooled, Christian, classical way to educate your kids.
It's fantastic.
It's all centered around math, science, literature, art, all of that in their graph.
You know what's in the middle?
God.
This is what they teach.
They teach that, well, if you can't understand who God is, how do we understand who God is?
Well, by reading His Word.
You can't fully understand math and science and all of these other things around the circle unless you first are grounded in who God is because that is the source of actual knowledge.
That is the source of real, true enlightenment.
And so that is the way.
And this guy understands.
This guy understands what Classical Conversations is.
It is incredible.
It's just incredible to me that this is even a possibility.
Let's see, what else do we have?
Ben Ziesloft, who is an abolitionist, wants to, you know, as I am, more of an incrementalist than he is, admittedly.
He says, praise the Lord that a solid Christian man like Pete Hegseth has been nominated to serve as our next Secretary of Defense.
Marination only waged just wars under his leadership.
But the first priority of Pete Hexeth must pursue ending abortion enabled by the military.
Our military currently funds travel expenses and offers paid time off for service members who want to murder their pre-born babies.
In theory, that policy could enable more than 4,000 abortions bankrolled by taxpayers each year.
Okay, what else do we have?
Okay, so transitioning as we wind down the show because my time is almost up.
Douglas McGregor.
We're going to try to get him back on.
uh we interviewed him about four weeks ago uh Trump transition team now creating a warrior board to purge useless generals Ivan Raikland likes that Let's see, what else do we have?
Yeah, again, still don't know about this.
It's been two days since it was leaked in the media that Rubio was the Secretary of State, and Trump still has not publicly confirmed this.
Ron Paul says it would be a horrible idea.
And then this was the report I was telling you about, and I don't know, this is just a random report on Twitter from the Libertarian Caucus.
It's saying, we're hearing that Mitch McConnell has threatened Trump with no Senate confirmation hearings unless a neocon like Marco Rubio is made Secretary of State.
I don't know if that's true, but we will certainly wait and find out.
Folks, that's all the time that I have for this edition of the Millstone Report.
We ran out of time as usual.
Again, we're going to remedy that, and we're going to start doing an afternoon show that's going to be to be announced so I can continue covering the news in the afternoon.
But yeah, it's been a crazy day.
For those of you just joining us, John Thune has been elected as the majority Leader of the Senate under secret ballot in a secret room, or at least the old Senate chamber, they moved the room.
Really swampy behavior going on, and so we've got a lot more work to do.
But that's all the time that I have for this edition of the Millstone Report.
We will see you tomorrow, unless I'm providentially hindered.
God bless everybody out there watching.
Export Selection
