Remember 2019 and a gallon of gas was $2.60 and a dozen eggs cost like $1.40 and a pound of beef was maybe $3.00.
But now, gas is $3.66, eggs cost almost $4, and beef is like $5.00.
But that's not because food is getting more expensive.
It is only because of inflation.
So do you think that counting on your money to last is actually going to be your money lasting?
Do not trust that.
The only thing that lasts and holds the test of time is gold and silver.
Precious metals.
That's it.
And so I have a partner that I love.
It's a trusted company.
It's called Gold Co.
And there's a number at the bottom of the screen and there's a URL and you can click either one of those too.
And you can go to their website, you can call them, and you can take your money that you have now and ensure that it is worth the same amount when you invest in gold and silver.
Gold and silver are the only things, the only things that have stood the test of time.
You've worked really hard for your money.
I work really hard for my money and we do not want the irresponsibility of this federal government and the choices they're making to harm us and take our money and make it worth nothing.
So invest today in gold and silver.
We offer discounts.
There's all kinds of advantages to using GoldCo.
Call them today.
go to their website and secure your assets. - Hey everybody, welcome to Jesus, Guns, and Babies I'm your host, Dr.
Candice Taylor, and I have a very special guest today.
I know I always say that, but I really do have a really special guest today.
I'm going to start with Daniel, and it's going to be chapter 6, and I'm going to read verse 24.
But before I read it, I'm going to give context.
So I read Daniel 1 through 7 yesterday, and the Lord was showing me how Daniel was accused of things he didn't do.
And this group of people were jealous of Daniel.
And they accused him of things he didn't do.
And they tried to find fault in him.
And they couldn't.
And so they actually manipulated and went to the king and got a decree signed.
Manipulate the king because the king loved Daniel.
But they got a decree signed so that they knew Daniel would break it.
So they could throw him in the lion's den.
And so what they got him to sign was saying you couldn't worship anybody but the king for 30 days.
And they knew that Daniel worshipped creator God.
Right?
And he was going to do that three times a day, and they would catch him.
So they did, and the king did not want to put him in the lion's den, but he had to honor his word and his decree, and he did.
And the angel protected him, and actually he was lowered into the lion's den.
It wasn't just thrown in, so his bones wasn't broken.
And the angel came, protected him, shut the mouths of the lions, and when the king came back, Daniel was fine, and he believed in God because he knew that he had spared Daniel.
Okay, and I read that, and I thought, Lord, thank you.
Like, I know if you love Daniel, you love me, and you're going to always protect me.
And the Holy Spirit said, no, there's more.
And so this next piece is what God wanted me to see, that he is a God of vengeance, and he is a God that honors his children.
And as much as we love our own children, he loves us even more than that.
So the king gave the command and they brought those men who had accused Daniel and they cast them into the den of the lions, them, their children, and their wives.
And the lions overpowered them, broke all of their bones in pieces before they ever even came to the bottom of the den.
Now, I don't know about you, but I don't wish that on anybody.
I don't wish anybody to go to hell.
I don't wish anybody to suffer.
I want people to find Jesus and repent.
But let's just be clear.
We serve a God who is all-powerful, and He loves His children.
And you can have full assurance that you don't have to have vengeance.
You can forgive, and you can be kind, and you can ignore, and you can be still, and be like a tree planted by the water.
Because God will Fight your battles for you.
So anyway, welcome to Jesus, Guns, and Babies, my great friend.
He's from Cobb County, which is, I won't say it's Atlanta, but it's Atlanta to me, but it's near Atlanta.
It's north of Atlanta.
Gary Chaffee.
He's running for state house and going to be part of our state legislator when we get him elected.
So welcome, Gary.
Welcome to Jesus, Guns, and Babies.
Thank you, Candace.
I appreciate that.
That District 35 is Kennesaw and Ackworth.
And I love the Bible verse you chose because guess what we just finished?
What?
Daniel.
Wow!
As a matter of fact, we started Hosea this morning because we read through the Bible.
We read through the Old Testament and New Testament and then Psalms every day.
And so we just started Hosea, but we just finished Daniel, and I love that story of Daniel.
I mean, I just love it because, you know, he stayed true to his God, and no matter whether it was going to cost him his life or not, he stayed true to his God and would not refuse to bow down.
I mean, he refused to bow down to that image, and he just kept on praying, kept on praying to his God, Creator God.
So I love that.
I love that story, and I've loved that story all my life, Candace.
One of my favorite stories, even as a kid.
You know what I didn't know, Mr.
Gary?
I didn't know, I guess because we learn about the Hebrew boys separately than Daniel and the Lion's Den, but when I was reading through it fluidly, you know, without wavering, it was like the Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were friends with Daniel.
They were friends.
Exactly.
And they all refused the delicacies of the king.
And they all did that.
And so it was interesting.
I was like, oh my gosh, they were friends.
That was his people.
And so I love the Hebrew story of the boys.
I love that, you know, they were in the fire and the guards were killed when they took them down to the fire because it was so hot that They saw a fourth man in the fire and Jesus, Holy Spirit, was in the fire with them.
And they came out and didn't even smell like fire because that's what God does.
He protects his children.
And so I thought, of course they were best friends with David because you are the company you keep, right?
So my papa always said, birds of a feather flock together.
So it shouldn't have been like a...
A magical thing for me to learn that, but it was kind of like, wow, it was like an epiphany.
Like, golly, they were best friends.
So that encouraged me to care about the company I keep.
And I stayed at your house last week, so I must keep really good company.
Well, that's nice.
That's nice for you to say.
I loved what the king said.
Because the king said, wait a minute, we put three people in there, but I think I see four.
Who is that?
Is that God in there with them?
And it obviously was Jesus.
I mean, I'm thinking it was Jesus.
It looks like the Son of God in there.
Exactly.
Yep.
That's exactly right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, Candace, I thank you so much for having me on your program.
I absolutely...
I've always admired and...
Jen and I both have always admired and respected you.
And that's why we got on there and helped you in your campaign for governor because anybody that will stand up And be unashamedly talking about Jesus, God, Second Amendment, and life, I think, is a hero of mine.
I'm getting more and more interested in how many heroes I'm getting in life, and you're one of them.
Well, I feel the same way about you.
And I want to talk about, first, you know, how we met and that a little bit.
And then I want to talk about your life and you served as a paramedic and then kind of what brought you to this place of wanting to run.
But let's talk really quick about the governor campaign and how...
We got to be friends, and you heard me speak, and you heard, and I know that the Lord kind of quickened you to help me, but you helped me all over.
You take signs and met people, and honestly, Gary, all the patriots, all the volunteers, we had tens of thousands of volunteers, and they all know you.
So you could run for a statewide seat if you wanted to, because they know me, because you are, and you did it for free.
I didn't pay you.
You did it because you believed in our message and believed in what we stood for.
So let's talk about that a little bit.
Okay, so hopefully this doesn't embarrass you or anybody think, oh, I don't know about this guy.
So we were in D.C. at the Trump rallies, and I always would go up there and hear Trump and also General Flynn, and then this other guy that was running for governor.
And before I met you, I'm trying to think of what his name is.
But anyway, he was, before I met you...
Vernon Jones.
Vernon Jones, that's it, yeah.
Vernon is a good talker.
And before I met you, if anybody had ever asked me, who are you going to vote for governor, or who are you going to vote for for governor, I would have said, ah, Vernon Jones.
He's a good talker.
I mean, he stands up there with General Flynn.
He's really got a good message.
But then, Jim Tulley out there, the Pauling GOP guy, Jim Tulley turned out to be a great friend of mine and a wonderful, wonderful guy, a wonderful leader.
And he called me one day and he said, Gary, you need to come out here and listen to this lady that I've got coming out to a meeting.
And I said, who is it?
And he said, Candace Taylor.
And I said, well, that's that lady that Jan's been talking about all this time.
And so we went out.
And Jan's your wife.
Say why you listen to your wife.
I have to.
She's the charge, man.
If I don't listen to her, I'm in trouble.
That's right.
So I'm like, yeah, that's who Jen's been talking about, Candace Taylor.
And she keeps saying, Gary, you need to listen to her.
And I keep saying, no, Vernon Jones is my guy.
And then I went out there, and Jim Tully got me to come out there, and I went out there and listened to you.
And after I heard you talk for five minutes, I'm like, this is it.
This is the real deal.
And that's when I, right after that, I think I got on the phone with Wayne, And Tammy and I said, what can I do to help up here?
And met him at Cracker Barrel, loaded my car up with signs, and then we're off the races.
And it's funny because halfway through the campaign, Wayne and I were laughing about how much we don't know.
It's kind of like how I feel right now.
And Wayne said, you know what, Gary?
By the time this thing is over, we'll figure out what to do and the right way to do it.
So, you know, yeah, I guess that's true.
But I think the world of Wayne and Tammy, boy, you're a mom and And Wayne, they're just absolutely amazing people.
Wayne and Tammy are my parents, but y'all don't know.
And they are super good friends now with Gary and Jan.
And it's amazing because what happened, I'm trying not to cry, but what happened was in the campaign is we met people all over the state who are just like us, who are normal people, who've raised our families.
We love Jesus.
We love the country.
And we are honest and we're not jealous.
We're happy for each other.
We're just normal people.
And there's so many of us.
We really want to be left alone and not be in the limelight, not be doing this because we'd rather be with our family and playing board games and going to the beach and mountains and spending time together.
But instead, we're fighting for our freedom because at some point, the baby boomers, I'm blaming the baby boomers, they did not pay attention.
And they elected people and they were really busy paying taxes and raising their families and these criminals got into office and they decided that they like lobbyist money and they like power and they liked it more than they like being a public servant.
And they even hijacked the voting system to make sure that we pretend like we vote, but in reality, they control the voting.
And so everything's been twisted and convoluted, and now we know, and we are wide awake, and we're paying attention, and we are going to dismantle all that crookedness, and we're going to bring it back to America, freedom, constitutional republic, and that's what we're working to do.
And do we want to do this?
No, we'd rather be doing fun things, but we're doing this instead because we love America.
And so we met these people, and Gary, you can attest to it, all over the state.
One of our favorite people is Danny Hamilton.
He owns the Trump buses.
He's amazing.
We could name people over and over and over.
I met medical doctors.
I met attorneys and people that would do anything for us, even to this day, because they feel just like we do.
We're the majority.
They call us a silent majority because we don't really want to be confrontational.
But I've got really good at being confrontational.
In fact, I don't even dread it.
So we don't want to have to do that.
I love everybody.
I want everybody to be saved.
I just was talking to my best friend Jessica before I got on this interview about, Mr.
Gary, I used to be like a little angry and faulty and be like, you know what?
If they go to hell, they go to hell.
That's their choice.
And God really the last couple months has been dealing with me on even my enemies.
I don't want them to go to hell.
Hell wasn't created for us.
Hell was created for Satan, for Lucifer.
And so it wasn't created for us.
And I don't want anybody to go to hell.
Even people who wish that I would go to hell because they hate me.
I want them saved.
I want revival.
I want them to love Jesus.
And I want them whole.
And God's really been dealing with me on that.
And I think, you know...
In all of this chaos, if we can find Jesus and we can help people find Jesus, we will save Georgia and we will save America.
That's so true.
That's so true.
I was listening to Ben Carson the other night when he was here in Marietta and that's what he talked about.
He talked a lot about Karl Marx and he said, but what I'm really hoping and praying for is revival in this country because you look at the children of Israel And they just kept turning away from God, and God could easily get their attention, and they would come back and say, we're sorry, we're sorry.
And then, God's a God of mercy.
And so, I can still relate to what you're saying, because Ben Carson, I think he'd make a great vice president.
Me too.
I do.
But he's like, we've got to pray for revival in this country to turn back to God, Because I think, and basically Ben Carson was saying, I think that that's the reason why we're in the shape that we're in right now, is because we've turned away from God as a country.
Yeah, really.
And I want to take this opportunity while you're saying this to speak about being in his age and President Trump's age and even your age, Mr.
Gary, and people, they want to push for all these young people coming up.
And I'm younger in politics, political world, I'm younger.
You know, there's something to be said for wisdom, especially with people who have never been in office before.
So we have a lot of old people in office who are 80, 90 years old, who've been there since they were my age, and they refuse to leave, right?
Those people need to go.
But the people who are running, who have just gotten involved because they see what is happening, those are the number one people we should be electing.
We should be electing them, and then when they're not available, we should elect people like me that are younger.
Because wisdom, you can't buy it.
And so people that have said, when I say I won't be in Carson, they're like, oh, we need J.D. What's his name?
Vance.
We need him.
We need, you know, somebody wrong to sense.
We need people that are younger so that they've already served.
They know the Senate.
They know the governorship.
Then they can be groomed.
I don't want somebody to be groomed.
I don't want a groomer.
I'm not into grooming.
I don't want children groomed.
I don't want politicians groomed.
I want people to come fresh from the world and the situation that we're in.
And I want them to come in and say, you know what, this is what we need.
And we want moral, godly people.
And it's like, Ryan, my husband says, if we will get spirit-filled Christians...
To be in every seat, God will lead our nation once again.
And so Ben Carson and his spiritual authority and the man that he is in the Lord is the perfect person to couple behind President Trump, who is this, to take our country back from the evil one.
And so I'm totally on board, Ben Carson.
I am too.
I am too.
You know, you were saying a minute ago, A little bit about myself and how I was raised and stuff like that.
It's very difficult to talk about.
It's kind of funny because I went in there the other day because Jan's really good about going in and cleaning out old clothes that I have and throwing them away.
And I'm like, don't do that.
Don't do that.
And so I went in there the other day.
We're switching over from winter to summer clothes.
And I went in there in my closet and I cleaned house.
And I went by there and I said, Jan, look what I'm doing.
I'm throwing stuff away.
Shorts that are torn up, shorts that have got paint on.
I'm throwing all that stuff away.
And she's like, I cannot believe you're doing that.
And I said, I can't either.
And the reason why I can't believe I'm doing that is because my background, I don't even know.
It's amazing to me how I ever got here because My dad was never with us.
He always...
Now, I'm not going to start crying.
I could really, really easy start crying, but I'm not going to.
It's okay.
It's a safe place.
I'm running for office.
But no, so we...
So, you know, dad was never there, so mom raised us four children, and she did that by washing and iron.
And I think the reason why...
It's so difficult for me to throw anything away is because as her raising four children, it was nothing at all for us to come home and find all of our stuff in the front yard where we'd been kicked out of another house.
And we'd have to sleep in the car for a while.
And we'd get as much stuff in the truck, in the car as we could.
And just until we could find another place to live, that's how we live.
That's how I lived my life growing up.
And so I know.
So nobody in the world can talk to me and say, you don't know what it's like to be poor.
Oh, yes, I do.
I know what it's like to be poor.
I know what it's like to go without meals, without food.
And I know what it's like to sleep in a car for a week.
I know what that's like because I've been there.
And then I grew up and I got drafted.
And I'm just like, I know people.
I know people because I've seen so many different people.
And I got drafted, went into the Army, got out, went through paramedic school, and really worked a lot of low-income projects and stuff.
And my last 12 years as a paramedic was at Grady.
And that was a very interesting thing as well, because I'm in the projects all the time, dealing with people that are low-income, poverty people, and somebody talks about demographics.
I know the demographics.
I talk to people the same way.
I don't care if you've got a multi-million dollar, live in a multi-million dollar home, or if you live in the projects, I'm going to talk to you the same way, because I know that Jesus died for you, just like he did for the multi-millionaires.
You said something a minute ago that hit home with me the other day.
How in the world can I have bad, bad feelings about liberal Democrats?
This lady, I met her at Tractor Supply a while ago, and she said, are you conservative?
And she said, I said, about as conservative as you can get.
And she said, I probably don't need to talk to you anymore because I'm I don't like conservatives.
And I'm like, well, I'm sorry about that.
I'm going to talk to everybody the same way.
It's like we all bleed red.
I mean, I've started so many IVs in my life and seen so much blood and death in my life.
Everybody's color is the same.
I mean, everybody's color is the same.
So you and I are right on track with that and thinking, how in the world can I have bad thoughts and bad feelings, even about Somebody like Pelosi or Biden, when Jesus died for them, just exactly the same reason why he died for them, he died for me.
And I was like, I don't have anything on those people.
So yeah, I'm with you on that.
Well, there's something that I love about you the most, probably one of the top three things, is your passion for life and for your passion for the unborn, the pre-born.
And I want to say that, you know, even though you've been homeless yourself and being in situations that were dire and you've worked in really bad, racially charged areas of Atlanta and Atlanta, Cobb County and that area.
You do not want to see any child hurt and murdered.
And so you are so against abortion.
You're so passionate about saving these babies.
And whenever I say the Black race is being...
It's extinguished because of this perpetuation of convenience of birth control and murdering the pre-born.
It makes me sick to my stomach.
It's repulsive to me.
It is so sad.
When we were out there last week, Mr.
Gary, I was with you and we were on the side of the debate with all the Trump supporters, about 300, and across the street there were 10 to 15 Black women who were picketing to be able to have a right for their bodies But in reality, they were picketing so they could murder their pre-born children.
That God, if they're blessed enough to be able to conceive a child, so many women can never conceive a child.
If you're blessed enough to conceive, and then you're blessed enough to be able to have the body and the health to carry it to term, and you're advocating for being able to commit murder.
And that, it was just, I'm like, I cannot take it.
Like, I want to shake them and say, do you care about your people?
Do you care about your race?
Do you care about your own flesh that would come out of your body that God has a purpose for?
Do you care?
And you know you want to say these things and then it's like you don't want to because you don't want them to say oh well you're racist or oh it's none of your business or start a fight.
But I'm so passionate about protecting life and you probably are even more passionate than me.
You have done so much work in that way.
Do you want to talk about why you Have that in you and what you've done because you have done so much work to protect life?
Yeah, sure I do.
It's personal to me.
I think for me it's really important when I'm out on university campuses or whatever talking pro-life.
I feel like I'm not going to talk about it unless I can give these young women an alternative.
I mean, I think that's extremely, extremely important.
And I came up with this.
I think God kind of gave me this.
And it's this.
I was talking to this one young lady, and I can't remember where it was, I think Virginia.
And I said, you know, if you had that baby, I'll bet you if you went to your parents or his parents and asked them, you know, we're in school, we can't do this, but if I have the baby, would you take care of the baby?
And I think probably most people don't even think about that, that abortion clinics, they're really wanting to push that to happen like right now.
And it's a sad thing.
But if you give them options, and then as a church, as the church is failing women as well, because they need to step up and take care of these young women and the babies until they can get on their feet.
So don't just tell a woman, don't do it.
And then not give them any options.
But I do feel like the churches are really falling down on the job and not stepping up and helping these young women.
Another reason why I don't judge them is because I feel like young women are being lied to by the doctors and the nurses at abortion clinics.
I feel like they're being lied to and not being the truth.
And I think every single mom needs to have a sonogram To be able to, so that the mom can see exactly what she's aborted before she does.
And it's funny, Candice, because there's so many people that have told me when I first started, I mean, from day one, they're like, here's what you can't talk about.
You can't talk about abortion.
You can't talk about God.
You can't talk about Jesus.
You can't do that.
You got to do this.
You got to do that.
Well, no, I'm going to do what God tells me to do.
And I'm going to talk about what God tells me to talk about.
And you know what?
If God wants me in there, nothing can stop it.
But, you know, it's like I'm not going to back off.
I'm not going to back off.
We're too far gone in this country to back off from anything.
Just like, yeah, I think we are.
We need too many people to stand up and get in a fight and start talking, you know, instead of just being quiet and stopping or talking and not talking against certain things.
Yeah, so if we don't talk and we don't speak truth, then we're no better than the rest.
Why are we running?
We're wasting our time.
And so they try to silence me all the time.
They threaten my job.
They threaten everything they can threaten.
They throw at me all the time.
And I have a First Amendment right to speak my opinion.
That's right.
It's first and not second, third, or fourth because it's the most important.
The only way our other rights and our amendments in our Constitution are protected is if our First Amendment's intact.
Without our First Amendment, the rest of them would never have made it.
And so we're going to speak truth all the time.
And the things, I mean, obviously, Jesus, guns, and babies are the three taboo topics.
And I shout it from the rooftop.
And that's why I was trending on Twitter.
And then I interview a flat earther.
And I never said I believed in flat earth.
But I interview someone.
God forbid you do that.
And then, you know, then that's in the Rolling Stones multiple times.
And I'm in the AJC last week.
I mean, you know, it's constantly me in the news.
Me in the news.
Me in the news.
And I'm a little girl from South Georgia.
I have no...
I'm nobody, right?
I ran for political office.
How dare a normal person go qualify to run for U.S. Senate and then qualify to run for the governor of Georgia?
Why are you starting at the top, Candace Taylor?
You haven't even been involved in local politics.
And then I get involved in local politics and they're like, shut her up, fire her, get rid of her.
Like, why?
Move out of this county.
And I'm not going to stop because the Lord told me to fix things foundationally.
And the foundation is broken.
And He is the rock.
And He is the one that we are built on as a country.
We're built on Jesus Christ and we're built on His Word.
And common law that is order, that's how we have law and order in America, is broken.
Founded in the Bible.
And so our whole existence, our whole system, our whole constitution, government, everything is founded on Jesus Christ.
And you can't separate the two.
And we're just going to do what's right and we're going to speak truth and morals.
Whether they like it or not, everything is so immoral.
And that's what's happened is we've had political correctness, which Ben Carson talked about 10 years ago when I got my PhD.
He spoke at my commencement.
He talked about the national debt and he talked about Political correctness.
And they're going to destroy our country.
And what's destroying our country?
Inflation's from the roof because of too much spending and the national debt.
And we have immorality rampant.
And we have people who don't know what gender they are.
They even think they're cats and dogs.
We have people who are...
Justifying, putting pedophilia as one of the letters in this insane sequence of letters, LBGDQ, whatever, P in there too, because love is love.
Because they said love is love when they legalized gay marriage.
Now they want to say love is love if a perverted sicko wants to molest a child.
And so, you know, immorality was what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah.
And I'm not down with that.
And, you know, I retweeted a picture of my friend Stu Peterson's network, and I retweeted a picture that he posted about Nuremberg, which was white supremacists, Nazis, were hung for crimes against humanity for killing millions of Jews.
And he was talking about in regards to the vaccine or in regards to human sex trafficking.
And I retweeted and said, yeah, America, people forget.
Like, this is what happens when you have a society that falls.
And somehow that was twisted to be racist.
of people who hurt children if you take the innocence of a child the bible said it's like tiling a millstone around their neck and being cast into the sea and i know you're medical i'm not but they say that drowning is the worst possible death you can encounter so that's a horrible death is to be cast into the sea right but that's what god says about when you are when you don't protect the child and you let the child the little one fall
And so if you take innocence from children sexually, I'm good with capital punishment, whether it's a firing squad, whether it's hanging, whether it's an electric chair, lethal injection, I'm good with all of it.
Because the average pedophile has over 300 victims.
And if that makes me racist, then we have a problem with the definition of racism.
Because the majority of pedophiles are white.
Yeah, that's right.
You know what, I just found out that Cobb County is the top, they're in the top five counties in the state of Georgia for human trafficking and the average age for a young person is 14 years old for human trafficking and Cobb County is In the top five,
which is sad because, and the reason why it's so sad is I leave my house, go to Home Depot, which is about two or three miles away from us, and I could not even believe what I heard not too long ago.
I drive into Home Depot, drive right by this little hotel right there off of Bear Parkway, And I found out about this lady that had been held captive right there.
It's a human trafficker right there in that hotel for two years.
I've been driving by that hotel, going to Home Depot, and not even knowing that inside one of those rooms, there's a slave in there.
And I'm telling you, it just did something to me.
And to think that there's 14-year-old kids that are slaves To human traffickers just nauseates me and I love what Devin Sebaugh is doing and we went to a church over here off of Barrett Parkway not too long ago and Devin Sebaugh and they did a program on human trafficking and it's like that's another one of the things that I want to help get in a fight on and just make those Those penalties stiffer.
I think the lady, Lisa Campbell, that I'm running against, she voted against having stiffer penalties for gangs that recruit minors.
And I'm like, why in the world would you do that?
Why would you vote against that?
I don't know.
I don't understand.
I don't understand at all.
Well, because in her demented mind, she thinks that she's protecting people from crime, from law enforcement, abusing their power.
But in reality, she's hurting them because there's no protection for children.
Children have no rights.
They have no protection.
And if a gang member or A serial killer or a child trafficker or a drug lord.
If they can say, hey, you're 12 years old.
You won't get a felony.
You'll be secure.
We'll seal your record.
So we'll give you $100 to go do this.
$100 is a lot to a 12-year-old.
Maybe I'll give you $1,000.
Whatever they give.
And you go do this.
And then they're recruited.
And then, you know what?
That gang member, that person, Criminal.
Doesn't care if that child is killed or not.
So if the child tries to leave, they'll kill them.
They'll kill their mama.
They'll take their sister, kidnap her, and put her in sex trafficking to keep them in line.
And that kind of thing is going on right here in Georgia all the time.
And so we need people like you in the state house that have compassion and passion for saving our children.
To me...
It's back to the morality thing because God created sex.
He created intimacy.
And when you can twist and pervert that part of procreation and what he created with a man and a woman in marriage, if you can twist that and justify that in a sex slave, in that kind of level of abuse and you get off on that, You don't deserve to live.
And I hope you find Jesus before you burn in hell.
I really do.
Like I said, I don't want people to burn in hell.
It wasn't created for us.
But you do not get the opportunity to hurt more children.
And so we need people like you to go sit there in those seats and have harsher punishments.
Because I promise you, if sex traffickers knew, if they came to Georgia and they take children, And they're going to have a quick, swift execution when they're caught.
They'll quit coming to Georgia.
They'll go somewhere else.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
You know, I was just thinking a little bit about how my family, you know, 4th of July is coming up in a couple of days, and our family The Fourth of July, and I'm thinking about how difficult.
Jan and I read every night before we go to bed.
I think you know that.
We read every night before we go to bed.
We just finished this book called The Light and the Glory by Peter Marshall and David Manuel.
And it really, you know, I knew that my family, we just was in Scotland not too long ago for about 10 days.
And I knew that my family, some of my family come from Scotland, but on my mother's side, They came from Aberdeen, Scotland.
And when I read the book, The Light and the Glory, it just amazed me about what my family on my mom's side had to go through to load all their family, as much stuff as they could, and leave a country like Scotland that they've been to get away and to be able to come to America and start their own family, build their own house, work their own ground.
And build their own schools and churches and stuff like that.
And I'm just blown away how difficult it was, extremely difficult it was for them to come here from Scotland and start.
And then all of a sudden, a few years later, the very country they left came back here with the best military force in the world.
To try to take those freedoms away again.
And I think that's exactly where we are again.
There's a group of people out there that absolutely hate America.
They hate us.
And they're ready to go in there and take our Second Amendment rights away from us again, our free speech, our First Amendment rights.
They're ready to do it again.
I'm thinking, everybody's got to get in the fight and get their sleeves rolled up and get in the fight somewhere.
Everybody can get in the fight somewhere, Candace, because it's going to take a whole lot more than people just like you and I and the people in the legislature and the Senate.
It's going to take all of us standing up and fighting against all this garbage that's going on in our country.
With people that are trying to take our freedoms away.
Everybody's got to get involved.
If we're going to maintain this country, if we're going to maintain our freedoms, and if we're going to maintain and keep America, we've got to get together as a group and do this together.
That's why you're involved.
That's why you're getting involved now, and you're running.
When you called me and told me, I'm thinking about running for county commissioner, and then it was like, I think I'm going to run for the state house seat.
Nobody's going to qualify for it, and we're just going to let this woman who, and I think, and if I'm not mistaken, I researched her, and she was also pushing for the gender therapies and stuff for transgender children, and let's just be real.
She Children are innocent, and they're created in the image of God, and God created male and female.
He did not create transgender.
So these children...
Our children.
They need to be children.
The frontal lobe of your brain doesn't fully develop to your 25.
That's where you make major life decisions.
No one should be allowed any kind of therapy until they're at least 25 years old.
No one.
It should be illegal in America.
And so somebody who's perpetuating this and pushing this on our children, that should be a crime.
So this woman, she's a liberal, radical, white female.
And I really believe that the liberal, radical, white females are the ones that are ruining America.
Seriously, I don't even blame the black people.
I don't blame the white men who are radical.
I blame because I'm telling you, when I meet these radical women, Crazy left-wing...
Did I say right-wing?
Did I say left?
I hope I said left because I meant left.
When I meet these left-wing radical women, white women, they are...
They're mentally ill.
They do not make sense.
It is crazy.
I meet black people who are Democrat and have been Democrat all their life.
My grandparents were Democrats.
And they just identify with the party because that used to be the party of the people.
And they see the immorality and they love Jesus and they know our country is flailing and they don't agree with this left wing fault even though they still call themselves a Democrat.
I can talk to them people all day long.
We're friends.
We eat lunch together.
I can deal with that.
I cannot deal with this left-wing mental health ideology that is trying to kill children.
Literally.
Yeah, that's true.
And so this is the kind of woman you're running against, Gary.
Yeah.
This is not a normal Democrat.
This is a severe mentally ill thought process in here.
So I don't know her.
I just know that if you believe that we should give gender care, changing hormones to a child who's developing hormonally, who has not arrived, who has not had their frontal lobe developed, if you believe in that, there's something wrong with your thought process.
That's not rational.
That's irrational.
That's right.
And you know, Candace, from a state level, another thing I want to do is help and work with as close as I can to help people like Randy Scummerhorn.
I think about he's Cobb, over the Cobb Board of Education, and I've watched what he's done.
I looked at what he's done, and he is amazing.
That guy has stood in the gap for protecting our children, and I think he is absolutely amazing.
And another guy, David Cavender, running for sheriff in Cobb County, when he gets elected, You're going to be a whole lot safer than you are right now, because David Kavanagh is a real deal.
I've got the chance to know him a little bit.
He's a real deal.
But then Randy Scumhorn, we've got some great people running in Cobb County.
I'm going to say, you know, Democrats that are in Cobb County that will be voting in Kennesaw and voting in the areas where you're running, Gary, they need to vote for you.
They need to vote for somebody who's moral.
It's not about being a Republican.
It's about loving Jesus.
And you have Democrats in your area who love the Lord and who love morality.
And they're going to vote Republican in this one seat because they want somebody godly to represent them.
You are, you love everybody.
You do see us as all bleeding red.
You love everybody.
I have watched you.
I mean, somebody who could support Vernon Jones.
Come on.
And we know what Steve Peters exposed on Vernon Jones.
Poor Vernon.
I mean, I might say hey to him if I see him.
But you can support Vernon Jones because you saw passion in him because you just wanted somebody that was passionate about America that was going to do the right thing.
You are a good person.
And so, I'm telling you, I think that some people have counted you out because they're like, oh, it's a Democrat area.
You know, Gary can't win that.
Yes, you can win that.
You're going to win.
You're going to win because Jesus is King and you have a bunch of Christians in that area in Cobb County that are going to turn out and vote for a fellow Christian because we're brothers and sisters in Christ first.
That's right.
That's true.
That's so true.
I've heard people say that, that I can't win, but...
I feel like that when I first started this, I'm like, I don't know.
I've never been, I've been in the medical field as a paramedic first responder and working in the cardiac catholic and that's most of my life.
And I just like, I don't, I'm not a politician.
I'm just Gary.
I'm just Gary that has the ability, you know, there are certain things you learn as a paramedic.
You learn real quick that the second you get on the call, there are times where you can just cut up with the patient, you take your time, drive non-emergency to the hospital because you don't have an emergency situation.
You got somebody there that maybe didn't have a ride to the hospital.
But then on the other hand, you've got people that may be bleeding out.
For an arterial bleeding, or you've got a patient that has developed a heart rhythm that's not conducive to life.
Those people, you've got to do something right now, or they're not going to live.
If you don't do something right now, they're not going to live.
Then you do something right now.
You don't wait.
You don't wait for any...
There's nothing in the world that's more important right now than getting that patient defibrillated or arterial bleeding stopped.
And funny, Jen came up, she said, you just need to start talking about, we got to stop the bleeding in this country, and we got to, just like we would stop the bleeding on a patient that's bleeding to death.
We're hemorrhaging.
What's that?
We're hemorrhaging.
That's exactly right.
From within, we're hemorrhaging people in.
Yeah, that's right.
We are.
In every way.
Financially, morally, every way possible.
We're hammering.
You're right, Gary.
You're not a politician.
You're a public servant.
You've been a public servant your whole career.
That's what you know.
So no, you don't know how to be a politician.
You know politics because you love our government.
You love the military.
You love the Constitution.
And so this is an easy thing for you to do because you've been a public servant your whole life.
You love the country.
You have served the country.
And you walking into this role will be so easy.
You don't have to be a politician.
They want to groom us.
Like I said, they want to groom us.
We're not going to be groomed.
We're not interested in groomers here.
And so that's what I've said the whole time I ran.
Like, I'm not interested in being groomed.
Thanks.
I've never been molested.
God protected me.
I had best friends that were molested, raped.
Terrible things happened.
I think that's why I wanted to go into counseling because I wanted to be able to get those disclosures and fight against sex criminals.
And I can't stand that perverted spirit.
But thank the Lord it never happened to me.
And I've protected my children and my kids and I've, you know, even from a young age talked to them about good touch, bad touch and uh-oh feeling and everything and God's protected them and I've protected them and equipped them to know what to do.
But it is something that happens to most people.
It happens to the majority of people.
And so grooming is a real thing and they don't only groom for sex crimes, they groom for politicians.
And so we've got to quit electing the people that have been groomed.
Let's get all the victims of grooming out of politics.
Exactly.
Good luck, because I'm not easily groomed.
As a matter of fact, I believe Jan would agree.
I mean, we have surrounded ourselves with godly people that are really, really amazing leaders on our team.
And one of the first things that we did was we chose a guy that's head over our prayer team, Phil Stroud.
And so we've got that.
But it's like, you know, I can't imagine the Republicans out there that are in the House and Senate already that vote against the Constitution.
I can't imagine anybody voting against the state or the U.S. Constitution for any reason.
I don't understand that.
But if you look at the scorecard, It's not just Democrats that vote against the Constitution, it's Republicans as well.
And I will never, ever do that.
And the way I'm going to do it is I'm going to surround myself with really, really good people that are smarter than me about things like this, like you, different people, and that will help me work in there and understand what's constitutional and what's not.
And so that's...
I heard something.
If it's not moral, if it's against the Constitution, if we don't need it, and if we can't afford it, those are the four guidelines that I want to go by when I get elected.
And if this goes against any of those, I'm not going to do it.
I'm not going to vote for it.
I don't care.
I don't care how, and I'm not going to take money.
I mean, somebody said, you better watch it because when people start offering you money, they're going to want something in return.
Well, that's going to be the first thing out of my mouth is if you're going to offer me money, what do you want in return for that?
I'm not going to do that.
I'm not going to play that game.
Well, I know where you're going to be.
You're going to be in the Freedom Caucus with my good friend Mallory Staples, and you're going to be with my good friend Colton Moore and Charlize Byrd.
And so Charlize will get to have a second State House member that is in the Freedom Caucus with her, and we're just going to grow the Freedom Caucus, and it's going to be 100% conservative votes in Georgia, and y'all will not be bald, and you will not Wait.
You're not waiver.
And so I know that's where you're going to be and it's going to be in a wonderful place.
And so we're just going to keep growing the Freedom Caucus.
Hopefully we'll have more members that join in November and we will just continue to grow that.
And so whoever the governor is next time will get to walk into a better situation than what I could have walked into whenever I ran in 2022.
Yeah, exactly.
So we have about five minutes.
If there's something you haven't talked about, I want to talk about that.
And then I also want you to tell everybody where they can donate because we're going to get you elected.
And it matters in the whole nation that you take this seat.
It matters because we can't win the White House without Georgia.
Georgia has been...
Experiencing some major corruption.
We may look red right now, but whenever we have red seats everywhere, but two U.S. Senators that are blue, that didn't happen by mistake.
That wasn't that we're purple.
That was a hijacking of an election.
And so we have to secure Georgia elections still.
I believe that they're going to be So scrutinized and under a gun with people's eyes, not a literal gun, but under people's eyes watching them in November that they're going to be terrified to do what they did in 2020.
But who knows?
Maybe they won't be.
Maybe they'll do it again.
I don't know.
But what I know is that we need people like you in these seats to get rid of this fraudulent voting system.
Sure.
So we can have normal people go and run and come home.
And it affects the whole nation.
Because Georgia is the gateway state.
A liberal Democrat, I think it was Chuck Schumer said, there goes Georgia, there goes America.
People on the left are fully aware of how important Georgia is.
And so you taking this seat right outside of Atlanta, Georgia, there's a critical seat that's being ran now and controlled by someone who wants to set the brains out of babies and wants to give hormone therapy to children and change them and make them not who God has designed them there's a critical seat that's being ran now and controlled by someone who wants to That seat has to go away from her and come back to the kingdom of God.
It has to.
So tell people how they can donate, and then if there's anything you miss talking about, feel free to talk about it.
Okay, I think one of the things that I would love to work against is the Dominion machines.
I feel like we've got to get rid of the Dominion machines and...
Vote same day on paper ballots and that would be a great place to start and have plenty of people in the poll watching position to make sure that everything's going the right way.
And I love what, yeah, that's number one.
So if you want to vote for me, I mean, if you want to look at what we really stand for, God, family and constitution, Our website is Chaffee4GA.com and it could be F-O-R or the number 4,
GA.com and you can go on there and click volunteer and I need help with door knockers and also donations because it's expensive and Candace you know more than anybody but I'm telling you there's people, wonderful people like Jimmy Stewart and Danny Hamilton and one of my neighbors here Bill Marks.
He's a retired eye surgeon.
I mean, I got some really, really...
And then Phil Stroud.
I mean, I just go on and on and on, and our daughter's helping us with our accounting.
So it's like God's really put some amazing people together for this campaign because...
God knows.
God knows my heart.
Jan and I could not have done this by ourselves.
I guarantee you we could not have.
As a matter of fact, if I'd had a primary, I wouldn't have been able to do it because it's taken this long to get our signs made up and our, like Ryan, sit right down there in your living room and in about 30 minutes designed our signs.
And I'm thinking...
That was a God thing because I would have been working on that thing for two weeks trying to figure out how to do that.
But we've got some great, great...
And then Annette Lewis, she's...
So we got a co-campaign chair, Annette Lewis, and she helped you.
Her and Jan worked together and helped you in your campaign.
So God has really provided every single need.
And I told Jan, I said, I really, really can kick myself because every time I get...
A little bit anxious because I'm like, what in the world are we going to do about this?
And I should just say, Gary, just remember what happened yesterday and the day before and the day before because every single day God is working behind the scenes and he's working and we don't see it.
And all of a sudden I'm like, oh, God took care of that right there that I was so worried and upset about.
And I'm like, Gary, whenever you're ever going to get to the point where you stop, Being concerned and worried about what people think, what is going to happen next, or how are you going to do this?
How are you going to make this happen?
How are you going to make that happen?
God's got it already worked out because he's already proven that with people like Jimmy Stewart and all these other people that I just mentioned.
And you.
I mean, thank God for you and you and Ryan and your family.
Just great, great friends.
And a great example, because if it wasn't for you, I laugh and tell people that I talked to that were helping your campaign.
I'm like, this is all Candace Taylor's fault, doggone it.
It's all Candace Taylor's fault.
Right.
And it's Jesus' fault because he told me to run.
So we're going to blame it all on Jesus.
And he's got big shoulders.
In fact, the government rests upon his shoulders.
And so he can handle it.
And he's going to handle it.
And he's going to work it out.
And so I just will put the website at the bottom of the screen.
You can go to the website and donate.
And I'm going to ask everybody, listen.
I say $25 because we can't go get fast food for $25.
But if you only have $5, I'm good with $5.
$5, $10, $15, $20, $25.
If you can give $1,000, send $1,000.
Give what you can give and donate and help get Gary elected.
He, I'm telling you, will be the best House member in Georgia we've ever had.
He will make a difference in this whole nation and what he does in Georgia.
So please go donate.
Gary, thank you so much for coming.
Gary Chaffee is an amazing man.
His wife is just as amazing as he is.
They are a beautiful couple and have beautiful children, beautiful grandchildren.
God has blessed them so much.
And I just thank you for your heart and being willing to serve in this capacity because you don't have to.
You're retired.
You're living a good life.
You don't have to, but you want to leave it better than you found it and you know we're in dire need.
So thank you.
Thank you so much, Candice, for your time, and happy Fourth of July.
Yeah, and Independence Day, and I'm not, you know, it's like I know I love Baxley, but I just pray that God would bless Baxley in Cobb County, the state of Georgia, and God bless the United States of America, and happy Fourth of July, everybody.
Amen.
I love y'all.
See you next week.
God bless you.
you.
God bless America.
Remember 2019 and a gallon of gas was $2.60 and a dozen eggs cost like a buck 40 and a pound of beef was maybe $3.00.
And there's a number at the bottom of the screen, and there's a URL, and you can click either one of those too.
