so many people that need to have a millstone put around their neck and tossed into the sea everybody that you know you are everybody everybody everybody everybody everybody .
Hello, happy Friday, everybody out there.
This is Millstone Report.
Always glad to be with you.
My name is Paul Harold.
Hope you have a great week and hope you're going to have an even better weekend.
So, fascinating development.
We've kind of covered this a little bit throughout the week.
This week, the United Methodist Church met for their annual conference.
It was quite the spectacle, and we've already covered much of what happened on this program.
Consider the beginning of this Friday episode of the Milstone Report to just kind of be a general summary of the shame the United Methodists heaped on themselves this past week.
For several years now, the United Methodist Church has been trying to allow the ordination of the LGBTQRSTLNE, would you like to buy a vowel, clergy.
There was just one problem.
The United Methodist Church still had churches that believed in the Bible and the sufficiency of Scripture to rebuke sin, specifically the sin of our age, sodomy, and sodomite lifestyles.
So the faithful Methodist churches stood as a bulwark against the rainbow radicals who want to be gay and lead lost sheep down the path to hell.
However, the tensions were obvious and it was clear a couple of years ago, this church really wasn't a church at all because the conference was starkly divided on whether the Bible is the church's authority or not.
The United Methodists were not united, so the conference set forth a plan to allow churches who did not agree with the big gay train that was coming down the tracks to steal, kill, and destroy that would allow churches to leave the fellowship.
So, many of you may be asking or thinking, Paul, why can't the churches just leave?
Why did there need to be a process at all?
Well, you see, the church government of the United Methodists is much more hierarchical in their polity than the average, say, Southern Baptist congregation or even a Presbyterian congregation.
The United Methodist Church has a power structure that is very centralized, right?
Similar to the Catholic Church.
This means that the individual congregation in the United Methodist Church does not own their building and does not own their property.
So the churches who were faithful to the scriptures, or trying to be, and refuse to confess that being gay is not a sin, were at an impasse.
They couldn't just leave the denomination because they'd have no building or land for their weekly worship services.
Keep in mind, many of these faithful Methodist churches occupy church buildings that by American standards are ancient and pillars of the local towns and communities.
So the plan the denomination came up with was a plan designed to allow churches who were not down with the big gay mafia to leave and keep their property.
It's basically a divorce.
So divorce proceedings were initiated over not just what the Bible says about gay mirage, but what the Bible says about everything and whether it will be the guide to inform Christians or whether man's sinful, capricious nature will rule the day.
The plan was pretty simple.
If the congregation wanted to leave, they had to give notice and didn't hold a vote.
My understanding is that if the congregation voted to leave the United Methodist Church with at least two-thirds majority, then they could go and keep their property.
This process started in 2019 and gave churches until 2023 to decide to leave or not.
The denomination saw, listen to this, the denomination saw over 7,600 congregations left.
They left the United Methodist Church.
On a side note, some state conferences did not allow congregations to leave.
In my home state of Arkansas, the Methodists didn't allow two Arkansas churches to leave, even though they complied and got the vote threshold required.
The reason is because the church buildings were beautiful and the minority of gays, a minority of gays through a fit, About losing the building because the idea that the LGBTQ got publicly rejected was too much for their fragile egos.
But anyway, it went to court and the Methodist Church, they won.
They kicked the congregation, the majority of the congregation, out of their own building.
But I digress.
Fast forward to this week.
And the reason why Methodists have changed their rules with 78% voting to allow the gays to take over is because of 7,000 churches.
Over 7,000 churches left because of the gays that infiltrated their denomination.
They didn't want any more to do with them.
The churches that left should be commended for standing on the authority of Scripture, protecting their congregations from false shepherds, and leaving the LGBTQers to their fate.
And we should pray for the churches that are approving of sin, while at the same time being willing to hand them rhetorical millstones.
They deserve millstones.
These are fake clergy at this point.
They're leading kids down a path to hell, and they are wicked shepherds who are actually devouring their own sheep by promoting lies and rejecting the truth.
Now, some of you out there may be thinking, why didn't the 7,000 churches stay?
Why didn't they stay and fight?
Why surrender?
Why didn't they stay and fight to save their denomination?
Well, that's a good question, and clearly this fight's been going on since well before 2019 when they initiated this denomination.
I think there's some context that needs to be given here if you're one of those people.
Let me show you what these people were dealing with.
There's all kinds of footage that's come out over the last week of the Methodist Conference.
Here's a montage.
of the conference from this week put together by Scott J over on X. Watch.
Future of the United Methodist Church will be decided in Charlotte and they're now meeting for its general conference as it faces a loss of churches and membership.
Becca Gurel, clergy, New England annual conference, she/her/hers, queer, white, adult, I I'm very sorry to do this.
Bishop Thomas Lyonk, Deacon, Greater New Jersey, adult white male.
Thank you, Bishop.
Good morning, friends.
I am Scott Brewer, a cisgendered, white, lay male delegate from the Great Plains Conference.
My name is Carol Zagzma, clergy delegate from Minnesota.
White, female, gay, adult, with pronouns she and her.
And my name's Andy Hendren, white, male, straight, adult.
My name is Stacy Current, California, Nevada.
I'm sorry, I've got to stop here because it's really funny to hear how many times they have to call themselves an adult.
Like, what?
What in the world is going on?
Clergy, black woman.
Sherry Hiller, Oklahoma Annual Conference, laity, white, adult, female.
I am black, Haitian-American, woman, adult.
I feel myself demographic.
Thank you, Bishop.
Alberto Hidalgo, a lay delegate from Indiana, a gay man, he, him.
Matt Daley, I am a white young adult lay person from the Florida Conference.
Clergy, white male, Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference.
African-American clergywoman, Illinois, Great Rivers Conference pronouns she, her, and hers.
I'm an adult, white, non-binary person.
My pronouns are they, them.
Good afternoon, Bishop.
Good afternoon, Church.
Effie McEvoy, she, her, New England Annual Conference clergy.
Bishop, my name is Ian Carlos Urriola.
I am a Latinx, lay, young adult delegate from the Upper New York Annual Conference.
Thank you, Bishop.
Jorge Lockwood, cisgender male, New York Annual Conference, lay.
Jesse Lipp, laity, Great Plains, non-binary, white, I'm 34.
I'm very confused on if I'm an adult or young adult and a person living with disability.
I think I agree with her.
So, if you will pull out...
My pronouns are they, them.
I think I forgot to state that when I introduced myself.
I apologize.
Okay.
Ah, wow.
Can you imagine if you're some church in the rural south that's part of the United Methodist Church and you don't agree with any of that stuff?
How are you going to operate?
How are you going to save or beat back the woke rainbow mob in that environment?
And it's actually a lot worse than that.
We'll show you that here in just a minute.
But can you imagine being a sane person?
Can you imagine being a Christian minister and having to work with these people?
I mean, it's no wonder over 7,000 churches left when they were given the opportunity to separate from these freaks.
Not only are they obsessed with pronouns, but they're also, they've created new rules.
They created new rules this year, not just to allow gay marriage, not just to allow gay clergy.
But they created new rules this year to when meetings are called to order, they have to recognize an indigenous person.
Let me say that again.
They have to recognize an indigenous person who can claim that the land the church is on really, or wherever space they're at, really doesn't belong to them.
Which is ironic considering they spent the last three years being very concerned which individual congregation's property will stay or go.
Watch.
The new proposed rule states Immediately after the conference is called to order, an indigenous person shall offer a proper acknowledgment of land ownership.
Anyone other than an indigenous person who attempts to offer a land acknowledgment shall only do so after consultation with the appropriate tribal authority of indigenous persons in the area where general conference is being held.
One concern raised by the Rules Committee on Tuesday night was how this mandate would be carried out We recognize that this would go back to the Rules Committee of the Commission, but it would also have the opportunity to be discussed by the full diversity of representation of the Commission.
Microphone number one.
F.E. McEvoy-McClain, clergy, New England Annual Conference, United States, queer.
Why can't we know whose land we are on in every nation?
That we attend General Conference in because we know that colonialization has happened around the world.
It makes no sense why we would defer this legislation to be brought back later when we understand that land has been stolen from the indigenous persons in this space from around the world.
Those who are here who are indigenous from Turtle Island, many times we're forgotten, we're invisible, our voices have been silenced today.
I come with a heavy heart thinking that we have to have a rule to make sure that we're recognized in this church.
You don't have a translator for my language or all the other 539 languages that we have.
We're traumatized all the time.
We were born into traumatized communities because we left this area on the Trail of Tears.
I am Laity from the Great Plains Conference.
I'm non-binary and use they, them pronouns.
I am white, adult, and a person living with disability.
Just to clarify if This motion is defeated.
The amendment will be before us to debate and take a final vote on.
Yes.
Thank you for the clarification.
Coming from a central conference area in Europe, we do not have indigenous people all over Europe.
And if we wish to take the general conference to anywhere else but in the United States, this might be a problem for us.
Who would then be our tribal authority among indigenous people?
Will we continue to build a church that is based primarily on process?
Systems, process, is the language of the oppressor.
The proposed rule is asking that General Conference sees a people, a land, a place, and begin to recognize the sacredness of the land we stand on.
Our Connectionalism Mandates this kind of mutual respect.
It starts by paying homage to God, to each other, to the land we stand on, and to our elders, those among us, and those whose spirit is among us.
We are a part of something bigger than ourselves, and we need to declare that at the beginning of every general conference, whether we are here in Africa, the Philippines, or in Europe.
Putting that into our rule affirms we will honor and respect each other.
It becomes a mandate of respect.
The Rules Committee recognizes that this is important work.
It is important to know on whose land we are and where we are visitors.
I do want to raise that out of the speeches we had four from the United States and one from our central conferences.
The intention of this referral is to ensure that our central conferences have representation of voice before we mandate something that they would not be capable of carrying out.
Personally, the last thing I want to do is tokenize an individual Indigenous person in an area.
To come up, give us a three-minute land acknowledgement.
To me, it's more about the relationship we form with the people whose land we are going to be on.
And so that is the intent of this referral, is to ensure that we can have these conversations among more than simply five voices, recognizing that as a white person, I cannot make any of these decisions.
The United Methodist Conference, everybody.
Yeah, it seems like they had bigger issues than just allowing gay marriage and gay clergy.
They had a whole debate over indigenous people and lands.
Again, can you imagine being a United Methodist in a rural town that doesn't believe sodomy is a good thing?
And then being expected to work.
So they basically had carte blanche, right?
Again, if you're just joining us, over the last three or four years, the Methodists have split, right?
And over 7,600 churches left that, what you just saw.
They left it.
They said, we don't want any more to do this.
And so now that those 7,000 churches are no longer there to stand up against the LGBTQRSTLNE, would you like to buy a vowel enclave, Well, they basically had free range to lecture people about their pronouns.
You see that white lady who's like, I agree with her.
And then everyone's like, ooh, she's not a her.
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable that this is where we're at, but yet...
I mean, it's good.
I mean, I think, look, sometimes you have to get to a place where the separation is the shunning, if you will, right?
And the United Methodist Church will become irrelevant.
It's now going to become more and more irrelevant, like many of the other...
Yeah, you still may have a building.
It's still going to be paid for.
They may paint it a rainbow color, but less and less people are going to go to these churches because they're going to die, you know, short of some miracle where there's like repentance from all of this.
That's what's going to happen because it's what's happened everywhere else.
And I will also note how many of those clergy members were women and were female that were getting up to the microphone.
So the United Methodist Church, while they may have lost this battle in the last five years or the last decade, they really lost the battle when they allowed female ordination.
I mean, any church that allows female ordination is going to allow the gays to come in because that's the pattern that we have seen time and time again.
They're going to affirm what the Bible says is sin.
It happens all the time.
It's happened in every one of the mainline denominations.
Speaking of the LGBTQ, in a follow-up segment to our segment earlier in the week on Biden's Title IX, remember I told you that the Title IX changes were really more of a demonic switcheroo.
I told you that this whole thing was started with women's rights and feminism, and it was never about women's rights to the forces of evil.
It was about corrupting the image of God and And separating the differences between male and female.
That's what it was about, right?
Taking the woman out of her natural place or her God-ordained place and putting her not even equal with the man.
We've placed women above men because they obviously can still kill their babies and they don't get charged with murder.
So they're totally protected class.
And I've talked about that ad nauseum.
Dusty Devers is a Christian nationalist and a Baptist minister.
He is also a state senator from Oklahoma.
And he recently wrote an article over at the Center for Baptist Leadership.
The Center for Baptist Leadership is an organization attempting to compete with the The woke Southern Baptist ERLC that recently came out in support of that bill, that anti-cinematism regulation bill that, according to the definition, makes parts of the New Testament essentially anti-Semitic, saying that the Jews plotted to kill Jesus.
which is we went, if you missed yesterday's program, the last half hour of yesterday's program, was just us diving into the Bible and reading all of the quotes that we could find in a limited time in preparation for the show, reading all of the quotes where the Bible mentions that the Jews were plotting to kill Jesus, that the Jews were going reading all of the quotes where the Bible mentions that the Jews were plotting to kill Jesus, that the Jews were There's also obviously the book of Acts, the book of Thessalonians that mentions all of these things.
And, you know, I've seen some, I mean, people in the conning movement, a lot of them were outraged by it.
And then I've seen others in the conning movement that were trying to say, no, no, no, it didn't do that.
And it's just all of this.
Some of these people are just coping.
They don't want to admit the anti-Christian.
If you actually admit...
That what the U.S. House of Representatives did the other day was anti-Christian, then you have to do something about it, right?
You have to change the way, and people don't want to change the way they perceive the world, foreign policy, the nation-state of Israel versus, you know, that powder keg that's going on over there.
They don't want to have to, they don't want you to see, or many of them that, you know, many in Con Inc.
are on the take.
Maybe that's part of the reason.
But anyway, Dusty Deavers, He writes Biden's Title IX transgender edict, and he highlights Ryan Walters over in Oklahoma.
So they're both from Oklahoma.
One's a state senator.
The other's the statewide superintendent.
And this is, again, the Center for Baptist Leadership.
Again, this is a competing organization designed to, you know, essentially thwart the ERLC in the Southern Baptist, which is just, they're just going after as much woke They're supporting as much woke policy as possible.
Do we have a Megan Basham tweet on that before we get to this?
I think we do.
Yeah, so the ERLC, they were commending the passage of the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act.
You guys can't see that one second.
They were commending the passage of the Anti-Semitism Act.
And then Megan Basham, who again is a Daily Wire Christian reporter, it's appalling that in the name of the Southern Baptists whose tithes pay their salaries, the EORLC should lobby for the passage of a bill that many Jewish conservatives oppose as a front of free speech.
No SBC resolution empowers them to take such actions.
I'll take her word for it on the Jewish conservatives that oppose the bill.
I don't know of any.
I do know that Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire...
Oh, and we got a huge story on Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens.
According to Glenn Greenwald, Candace Owens, man, like that debate that was going to happen in the wake of her being fired by the Daily Wire, the Daily Wire secretly, unbeknownst to their audience, according to Glenn Greenwald, put a gag order on Candace Owens and said, don't ask us to debate anymore.
You're making our company look bad by asking us to debate.
We've got that story for you later in the program.
Incredible.
Actually, it's not surprising at all.
Serpentine.
Is it serpentine or serpentine?
Serpentine theocracy versus God's created order.
Dusty Devers writes about Joe Biden's Title IX. He says in these changes, he says, in an act of revolutionary fervor, the Biden administration cohort of zealots revised Title IX. Revised Title IX to codify entitlements for transgender women, that is, young men playing, play acting as the opposite gender to enter young women's sports in private spaces.
This act of bureaucratic Gnosticism attacks the very essence of man and womanhood as ordained by the Creator, throwing off Thankfully,
amid this moral and cultural upheaval, Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Waters remains a steadfast defender of biological realism, sanity, and Christian morality, using his God-ordained position of civil authority to challenge this overreach.
As a Baptist pastor, Devers writes, and elected official in the state of Oklahoma myself, I'm thankful for Walter's swift action to obey God and defy tyrants.
Boy, that's certainly a theme.
Dude, I mean, can you really think about it from a Christian perspective?
If you just want to accept the reality and not try to just accept it as it is, and if it doesn't, you know, just because it doesn't comport with the way you want the world to be, accept it, right?
The Title IX The Title IX telling states that they have to basically allow your girls to be the next transgender rape statistic is a call to action, is a call to defiance.
So is this anti-Semitism bill.
It's a wake-up call, man.
It should be a wake-up call for Christians.
And how we have no representation at the federal level.
None.
But he specifically, again here, he's praising Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters, who recently even said this.
The Satanic Temple...
So, Ryan Walters is trying to...
He basically has chaplains, state-sponsored chaplains that can go into schools now.
That's what he's saying.
And they want ministers in Oklahoma schools as well.
The Satanic Temple announces plans to have its ministers in Oklahoma schools of SB 36.
The bill allowed...
The hiring of school religious chaplains passes.
SB 36 offers an unprecedented opportunity for our ministers of Satan to join the workforce.
And so Superintendent Ryan Walters says Satanists are not welcome in Oklahoma schools, but they are welcome to go to hell.
And, I mean, got no disagreements there.
This is going to be very interesting to see what Christian red states do in the wake of the wickedness of the left being forced upon our children.
He says, back to Deaver's article here, while the trans sanity spreading across our nation is new, the deeper reality...
It is yet another modern manifestation of an eternal struggle, the ongoing battle between good and evil, between the seed of the serpent and the children of God.
As Christians and stewards of the truth, our generation now faces a cultural and moral crisis.
Just like many generations of saints faced before us, albeit on different issues, the question is not whether the church will eventually pay attention and take action to fight back.
The question is who will be the first to lead the way in confronting the pagans, and how long will it take the sleepy and emasculated American church to join them?
Ryan Waters is rising up.
Who will answer the call and do the same?
Dusty Devers, Senator Dusty Devers from Oklahoma.
That's a great question.
You will have men in your daughter's restroom and you will like it.
Under the guise of equality and rights, the Biden administration has now positioned itself against the biological and spiritual realities that form the bedrock of civilized society.
President Biden's Title IX changes.
Codify protections for gender fluidity, gender non-conforming, and intersex-identifying students in female spaces.
The National Center for Transgender Equality gets straight to the point.
Could you imagine if our...
Could you imagine if, like, my grandfather, my late grandfather...
You know, fought in World War II. I don't think he saw it.
He did not see combat.
But he went into the Army Air Corps and he was overseas, right?
It's actually, I mean, it's kind of a miracle story in our family because he wasn't the most handyman in the world.
And somehow the aptitude test says, you need to work and fix and be an airplane mechanic.
We've always thought...
What a blessing that was, right?
For his posterity.
I'm here today.
If he hadn't gotten stuck working airplanes, who knows where he would have been.
And he was in, I think, the Pacific Theater.
Anyway, can you imagine World War II-era guys, era men, coming home right now to this stuff and what they would do?
What would they do?
To school superintendents who are operating and pushing lies on kids and evil on kids and wickedness on kids.
It just shows you the gradual decline on this slippery slope.
The reason I bring it up is I'm not advocating violence.
What I'm saying is...
This has all been done an inch by an inch by an inch, and it is accelerating, right?
The relationship, the authority between citizen and government, the things that we'll tolerate, right?
I mean, World War II veterans wouldn't go through an airport and let the TSA put their hands down their pants.
I can promise you that.
Oh, let me feel around your waistline.
No, that wouldn't happen.
And now our daughters...
The federal government is going to tell a Christian father that their daughter has to just accept a man in their bathroom?
I really don't think we stop and we think about what they're actually doing.
What they're actually advocating for and the people.
And how many people just, well, yeah, things just get worse and worse.
These are the times we live in.
I mean, you know, I have said...
I'm not advocating for violence, but the natural inclination.
I've talked to fathers, and they say, look, if that ever happens to my daughter, and there's a man that goes in, you're going to see me on the 6 o'clock news.
He's like, I hope my daughter's never put in that situation, because if I'm there, you're going to see me on the 6 o'clock news.
I think there's a lot of dads out there that are like that, and that's why Christian red states are pushing back.
You've got this state superintendent in Oklahoma.
I know Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she released a statement, we may get to that here in a minute, saying that they're not going to comply with any of these Title IX changes.
The National Center for Transgender Equality gets straight to the point.
They explain that, this is Dusty Devers again, that Biden's changes make it clear that the general provisions of Title IX also protect gender nonconforming and intersex students from harassment and discrimination.
They boldly assert that the changes mean that trans students may not be barred from any covered educational programs on account of their gender denied access to restrooms, locker rooms, and showers consistent with their gender, dress code, and may not be applied against trans students in a discriminatory manner.
Trans students may not be subject to invasive examinations to prove their gender.
This is a powder keg.
We're going to take a break, and we're going to be back here in just a moment.
Don't go anywhere, ladies and gentlemen.
This is the Milstone Report, and we'll see you here in just a minute.
The economy with them.
Okay.
And this is how they repay us.
They repay us by canceling the bank accounts of patriots and God-fearing Christians who help those in need.
Who help those that all of these fake bleeding hearts at Bank of America and Capitol Hill pretend to care about while they use them as political pawns.
They repay us by taking a stand against free speech and against Christianity.
That's exactly what this is.
Michael Hickborn is with the Lepanto Institute, a group dedicated to the defense of the Catholic Church from threats both external and internal, perhaps like Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan, who calls himself a Catholic.
Michael joins us now.
Michael, thank you so much for coming.
We always appreciate having you.
Thanks for having me on.
Do you see this as an attack on Christianity by Bank of America?
Oh, I see it as an attack on all sorts of, not just Christianity, but anybody who holds to any ideologies that are in conformity with the moral right.
So if we want to fight against abortion, contraception, homosexuality, transgenderism, even Marxism, all those ideologies lined up against the left are exactly what they are trying to squelch.
They don't want us to have a voice in the public square.
I'm going to try to make a bridge here.
Prior to you coming on, prior to this segment, I was having a conversation with our producers off the air about pedophiles, pedophiles running our government.
These aren't just regular perverts.
These are pedophiles who, make no mistake, want legal, unfettered sexual access to kids.
They want to have sex with children.
Yeah.
We have, for example, the guy that was higher up at Citibank has now been arrested in Britain for being the leader of a pedophile pornographic ring.
Prior to that, he worked for Hillary Clinton's State Department, and prior to that, he worked for the Obama administration.
These people, when you start sticking up for kids, which...
As Christians, what are we most commanded to do is protect these little ones, right?
And so when you start speaking specifically about your mission aligning with saving the lives of or fighting in the name of children, kids, the attacks become so fervent.
That's why.
Because that's who these people are, isn't it?
Absolutely.
And we have to be clear that this isn't just some fringe thought.
This is something that we have seen over and over again.
Jeffrey Epstein was connected to all sorts of powerful people throughout the world, including bankers.
Not just Jeffrey Epstein, but we also know now that...
Sean Diddy, Sean P. Diddy, or whatever his name is, he also is involved with sex trafficking, according to an FBI raid, and he also is very connected with a lot of the elite, the elitists throughout the world, the ones who have all the money, all the power, and he's, you know, it's indicative of exactly what you're talking about.
Yeah, do we know where Diddy is right now?
It's kind of like the Hunter, where's Hunter thing?
Where's Diddy right now?
Is he in Wheela?
Is that where he is?
Venezuela, some people say he's in Florida, some people say that he's in Ecuador, but it's hard to tell exactly where he went, but the fact of the matter is nobody really seems to know.
If he's here in Florida, where I'm at, we need to quickly assemble a posse of some sort and go out here and find this guy.
These are the sickest of the sick people, and that's why the corporate media buries stories like this.
That's why a lot of people like the Daily Wire, people who claim to be alternative dissident media, that's why they disappear on stories like this, because it seems that all of these problems are coming from the same place.
Sure.
Well, and one thing we have to understand, the way that Marxists work, they don't want to take absolute control of every level of every institution.
What they need to do is control choke points.
So, in order to control the right, What they want to do is take control of the flow of money.
They don't have to control your account or how you account money or anything like that.
They just have to control your access to your own funds.
And if you look at the way that they work in government, they don't have to control every senator in the government.
They just have to control the way that the things are being implemented or how the bills are being All these little choke points are exactly where these Marxists want to be so that they can control what they want to control.
And if you're a pedophile, if you're in bed with the LGBTQ movement, then you're going to ensure that everything that you want aligned with those ideologies are going to be controlled at those choke points and nowhere else, so that you can't really trace exactly where the problems are or how How the opposition works.
And the biggest choke point is to restrict or eliminate people's financial means.
That's right.
So you take away their money, they can't buy food.
They don't have food, they're starving, they're done.
their dad.
All right, and welcome back to the program, My name is Paul Harrell.
This is the Millstone Report.
Happy Friday here.
We're kind of in the homestretch.
We were talking just a second ago how these states are resisting the Title IX changes.
We were specifically highlighting Dusty Deaver's piece over at the Center for Baptist Leadership, which is William Wolfe's organization.
A really good piece.
We also have others that are pushing back.
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders said this.
Female college students will shower and change next to male college students.
Referring to someone using biologically correct pronouns will get you hauled in front of a disciplinary board for harassment.
And scholarships previously reserved for women will now be open to anyone claiming to be a woman.
Is that Riley Gaines?
My message to Joe Biden and the federal government is that we will not comply.
In a moment, I'll sign an executive order reiterating our laws and instructing our educational institutions and the Arkansas Department of Education to follow them.
And if President Biden threatens our state with loss of educational funding because we refuse to go along with his election year pandering, Arkansas will take the federal government to court.
That's because this issue goes far beyond a single locker room or a missed scholarship.
The truth is important.
Biology is important.
The differences between men and women are important.
Title IX was created because of those fundamental truths and for half a century has allowed women and girls to access colleges Yeah, that was the whole point, though, right?
The whole point from the very beginning.
And look, good on Governor Sanders to, you know, stand up and say, hey, we're just going to ignore this and sue us if you want or take the funding away if you want or whatever.
As I said earlier in the week, a lot of the funding, that doesn't mean you shouldn't go get it, but a lot of the funding, the national, the federal monies, is a small percentage.
Most states fund the majority, the vast majority of their education, their own education.
Not to say that a 10% hit or something wouldn't hurt, because it certainly would.
The issue, though, is this has been the goal from the beginning.
See, the lie was feminism.
That was the lie from the beginning.
Feminism.
That was the lie.
And the deal was changed.
The deal was altered.
Anyway, in other news, man, we talked about this yesterday a little bit.
Just the sheer...
I guess it's just amazement on my part of how...
Candace Owens was so right.
This was a lot bigger than just saying Christ is King and them saying on Easter week that Christ is King is anti-Semitic in the wake of what the U.S. House of Representatives passed a couple of days ago.
As the Daily Wire publicly negotiated a debate with Candace Owens, it secretly sought and obtained a gag order against her due to a prior restraint order against Owens, the much-anticipated Israel debate with Ben Shapiro over anti-Semitism.
It's off.
They're not going to do it.
I have a lot of thoughts about this, but let's get into this article first.
On April 5th, Greenwald reminds us Candace Owens publicly invited her former Daily Wire colleague Ben Shapiro to a debate about Israel and the current definition of anti-Semitism.
It was Owens' criticisms of U.S. financing of Israel and her criticisms of Israel's war in Gaza that caused her departure from the Daily Wire two weeks earlier.
Both Shapiro and Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boring responded by saying they would like to arrange the debate requested by Owens.
That night, Shapiro appeared to accept her offer, writing on X. Sure, Candace, I texted you on February 29th.
I texted you on February 29th, and it's the very thing.
Okay?
The Daily Wire co-founder added, Let's do it on my show.
This Monday, 5 p.m., at our studios in Nashville.
90 minutes, live stream.
After Owens objected to the format and timing, she and Boring exchanged several tweets in which they appeared to be negotiating and then agreeing to the terms and format of the debate.
Owens had suggested that the debate be moderated by Joe Rogan or Lex Friedman and Shapiro said he wanted no moderator.
So they ultimately agreed to the terms with Boring offering a series of conditions including a no moderator debate and with Owens publicly accepting.
Two weeks later, many readers, both of Shapiro and Owens, noticed and complained that the debates hadn't happened yet.
On April 24th, Owens addressed those inquiries by explaining that the Daily Wire had yet to propose dates while reiterating her strong desire to ensure the debate happened.
But the debate was never going to happen, Glenn Greenwald writes.
That's because the Daily Wire, in secret and unbeknownst to its readers, sought a gag order to be placed on Owens after she had called for a debate.
They did this under the cover of secrecy before a private arbitrator at exactly the same time they were claiming in public that they wanted this debate and were even negotiating the terms with her.
To this date...
The Daily Wire has not informed its readers seeking to understand why the much-anticipated debate has not happened yet.
That they had sought and obtained a gag order against Candace Owens.
We'll get to the rest of that here in just a second.
Here's my thought.
The Daily Wire is bleeding credibility.
Absolutely.
Especially two, three, four weeks ago.
Bleeding credibility.
Right?
They've been bleeding credibility ever since Tucker Carlson took on Shapiro and said he was not American.
He was un-American.
He was acting un-American.
Specifically concerning the war and Ben Shapiro being a neocon and there's never a war he apparently doesn't like.
I even tweeted this.
I'm old enough to remember this was back when this whole Candace Owens thing, they were talking about the debate, and my first reaction was, wait a second, I remember when Boring was trying to arrange a debate, a sit-down between Tucker Carlson and Ben Shapiro.
And at the time, I knew exactly why.
Because they're trying to save credibility.
And they really, they wanted that sit down.
They wanted Tucker to somehow, you know, bro it out with Shapiro to say, "Okay, yeah, we may have disagreements, we may have disagreements, but, you know, we're fundamentally, we're, we don't agree with the major things, we agree with the big things, you know, the things are united." And so that's what that was about.
And I was glad when Tucker, at least to my knowledge, it never happened.
I was glad that Tucker didn't do that.
I was like, Tucker does not need Ben Shapiro.
That is clear.
Right now in the movement where the Overton window is, he's just bleeding credibility.
There's no reason to give him quarter at this point because fundamentally the main thing you guys disagree about is one of the biggest problems that's hurting the American people and that's people that don't want to put America first.
So no, don't give him an interview.
So then when Candace, this is different though.
When Candace Owens says, hey, I want to debate, and they say, oh yeah, okay, we'll debate.
I was like, I can't believe they're going to do this.
And see, that's why they may have initially agreed, because they did want to debate Tucker.
But they initially agreed to say, okay, we'll debate Candace.
And I said, oh...
That's not going to be good.
That's going to be a bloodbath for Ben Shapiro.
And I'm not saying...
Look, I'm not one of these guys that says, oh, Ben Shapiro.
And I know some people say it.
And there's a point to it.
Oh, you know, he's really good at debating college freshmen, you know, but let's see if he can do a real debate.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
Um...
But that's not the reason why.
It's the simple observation.
The facts are not on his side.
They are simply not.
His position is not defendable, just like Schmule.
By the way, I think Rabbi Schmule is the one that wrote that bill.
A friend of mine said, did Rabbi Schmule write this anti-Semitism awareness bill?
No.
It's like, it's crazy.
But there, look, she had totally embarrassed that shmooly guy, and then she had the other rabbi on, who I can't remember whose name, who's supposed to be a conservative rabbi, and he said ridiculous things that he really believed that the vast majority of people were like, oh wait, what?
No.
And he also had this broad view of anti-Semitism, or the definition of what it is, which essentially just means you can never disagree with Ben Shapiro.
Or any rabbi.
Anyway, so I thought, at the time I thought, this debate, if it happens, is going to be a bloodbath.
I mean, it's going to destroy, and somebody at the Daily Wire knew.
Maybe it wasn't Shapiro, maybe it wasn't boring, maybe it was their investors, their attorneys, they were like, whoa, you guys are debating nothing.
Because that's how fragile the Daily Wire is right now.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
The Daily Wire is so fragile right now, somebody stepped in and said, we have spent how much money building this brand up?
We have built this media empire.
And somebody with common sense said...
If this goes bad for us, this is the end of us.
This is the end of us.
Or it's a giant step on the path to the end of the Daily Wire.
And that's why this debate never happened.
And this is my speculation.
And that is why they said, well, what do we do?
Well, we'll use lawfare.
And we'll just gag her.
We'll gag her.
And we'll just be sneaky about it.
And we'll hope it never gets out.
We'll hope Glenn Greenwald never...
You know, or any reporter never finds out about it, and yet now we know.
More on this story.
Okay, Glenn Greenwald says, when seeking a gag order...
To be imposed on Owens, the Daily Wire accused her of violating the non-disparagement clause of her agreement with the company to substantiate this accusation.
The company specifically cited Owens' initial tweet requesting a debate with Shapiro as proof of his disparagement, along with concerns that she voiced that Shapiro appeared to be violating the confidentiality agreement between them by publicly maligning Owens' views to explain her departure from the company.
While the company claimed before the arbitrator that That it did not object in principle to a healthy debate.
It urged the imposition of a gag order on Owens by claiming that the way she requested the debate constituted disparagement.
Asking for the debate.
Hey, Ben, I want to debate.
Don't disparage me.
You talk about a broad definition.
Not only do we have a broad definition of anti-Semitism now, now we're just going to have broad definitions of everything.
Disparagement.
You ask me a question, you're disparaging me.
To justify the gag order it wanted, the company also cited various criticisms of the Daily Wire and Shapiro NX that Owens had liked.
She liked the wrong tweets, folks.
This proceeding took place as part of an exchange of legal threats between parties after the public agreement to debate about Israel was solidified.
Greenwald goes on.
Those threats arose from the fact that various Daily Wire executives and hosts, in both public and private, were castigating Owens as an anti-Semite.
On March 22nd, Daily Wire host Andrew Klavan published a one-hour video that hurled multiple accusations, including anti-Semitism, at Owens.
The Daily Wire cited Owens' response video, her defense video, defending herself from multiple accusations as further proof that she needed to be gagged.
What a bunch of totalitarian freaks.
But again, it's all about the money to them.
They did this knowing that this could get out.
But they did this because their business model is in serious trouble, in my opinion.
If Shapiro doesn't have the credibility and he gets just totally destroyed in a debate, And everybody was turning against him, too.
I mean, the initial tweet from Owens not only requested a debate, but also included a video of popular comedian Andrew Schultz, who, by the way, this is what's so interesting.
Andrew Schultz, when Kanye West came out and started talking about Israel or going DEFCON, whatever he said, DEFCON 3 on the Jews, this comedian came out, who is a Jew himself, I believe, and he said...
He totally trashed Kanye West.
Totally trashed Kanye West and really came to the defense of the Jewish community, Andrew Schultz did.
So I found it so strange that this popular comedian, Andrew Schultz, who had mocked the Daily Wire for firing Owens, he publicly did this over disagreements regarding Israel.
And specifically mocked Shapiro for his willingness to debate only undergraduate students.
The tweet underneath Owens' original debate request included a summary of Schultz's mockery of Shapiro, which stated, Schultz now realizes Ben Shapiro is only good at debating college liberals and can't win debates against serious competition.
So because Schultz tweets that out and Owens likes it, that's disparaging the Daily Wire.
After the prior restraint hearing sought by the Daily Wire and Shapiro, the arbitrator sided with them against Owens.
The arbitrator agreed with the Daily Wire that Owens' call to debate Shapiro and her follow-up negotiations of the debate constituted disparagement of the company and Shapiro.
The company argued that any further attempt by Owens to debate, as well as her suggesting that the debate would expose the Daily Wire's real priorities, constituted criticisms of the site and of Shapiro, criticisms that an arbitrator concluded Owens was barred from expressing under her contract with the company.
The arbitrator thus imposed a gag order of prior restraint on Owens.
Among other things, the order banned Owens from saying or doing anything in the future which could tarnish or harm the reputation.
So that means even if she does get to debate, she can't actually slam them.
Given that the Daily Wire had argued that the arbitrator agreed that Owens' offer to debate Shapiro about Israel and anti-Semitism were themselves disparaging, the Daily Wire has ensured that the debate with Owens that they publicly claimed to want could not, in fact, take place.
Any such debate would be in conflict with the gag order they obtained on Owens from expressing any criticisms of the site or of Shapiro.
When asked for comment to be included in this story, Candace Owens replied, I wish I could comment on this, but I can't.
Neither can confirm nor did I. Well, that's the comment, isn't it, folks?
Candace Owens is confirming this story.
She's...
I can't comment, but I can't confirm or deny.
Boring said, This is what Boring told Glenn Greenwald.
Your story is inaccurate to the point of being false.
Though he did not specify a single inaccuracy, nor did he deny that the Daily Wire had sought and obtained a gag order on Owens at the same time they were publicly posturing as wanting to debate with her.
The confirmation we obtain on all these facts is indisputable.
According to Glenn Greenwald.
Boring added, though, I'm sure you can appreciate how fraught a high-profile breakup like this is for that reason we are trying to resolve our issues with Candace privately.
It certainly seems true that the Daily Wire is attempting to achieve all of this privately, he writes.
Nonetheless, Ben Shapiro has constructed his very lucrative media brand and persona based on his supposed superiority in debating a reputation cultivated largely as a result of numerous appearances at undergraduate schools around the country where he intrepidly engages with students who are often in their teens or early 20s.
Both Shapiro and the Daily Wire have also predicted or predicated their collective media brand on an eagerness to engage in free and open debate with anyone and to vehemently oppose any efforts to silence people, especially those in media, from expressing their political views.
It was the imperative of this media branding that presumably led The Daily Wire and Shapiro to publicly agree to debate Owens over Israel and anti-Semitism in the first place.
Indeed, when it became apparent early after the start of Israel's war in Gaza that Owens had major differences with Shapiro, Boring responded to calls from Israel supporters that wanted her canceled, and they said, we're not going to do that.
That's what Boring said.
We're not going to do that.
And then, of course, four months later, they did that, and they fired her.
What a wild story this is.
Man, they're caught.
They are caught.
Will it matter?
I don't know, but I'm telling you this.
My instinct when I heard they were going to debate, I'm going to reiterate this.
When I heard they were going to debate, I said, I'm sorry, what?
Candace Owens is good.
Don't get me wrong, but On this issue, Ben Shapiro cannot defend himself.
He cannot defend his position.
He cannot.
And somebody at the Daily Wire knew it, and that's why they put a gag order.
That's why.
They said, well, we're just going to let her.
It'll look like she ghosted us.
It'll look like she ghosted us, and we'll just let it die.
Of course, now the cat's out of the bag.
Assuming this report is true, Glenn Greenwald is a veteran reporter.
He's somebody, I think, he doesn't put out false stories.
I mean, he's the guy that went and risked his life and reputation and went and interviewed Edward Snowden back in the day, right?
After Edward Snowden released all those NSA surveillance files.
Oh my goodness, what an incredible story.
Also, it's been an incredible week as we wind things down here today on the Millstone Report.
We started the story, we started this program on this Friday with the United Methodist Church.
And I think that's where we're going to end just for some laughs and giggles.
We are united.
A powerful network of women putting love into action.
We are women.
A supportive sisterhood, inspiring, influencing, and impacting communities.
We act in faith, bringing women's voices to the table and moving the church toward the kingdom.
We are United Women in Faith.
Yeah, and then they, you know, they passed, they made gay marriage legal in their denomination and gay clergy can now, you know, shepherd kids.
Shepherd kids.
Oh, this is their reaction.
Alright, enough of that, yeah.
Yeah, they got so happy about gays.
Yeah, sodomy.
Look at it!
Yeah!
Woo!
Oh, millstones around.
Millstones for the United Methodist Church and the shame they heaped on their organization.
We're going to leave it.
The last clip is a little different.
A little warning.
They want you to eat less meat.
But they also really hate cows, and they hate that cow.
I think cows, especially if you get a grass-fed one that's not in one of these factory farms, not in one of these mass, you know, where they just are sitting in a dirt cage.
But even then, it's tough because...
Cows have to be able to move around a little bit, you know?
It's not like chickens or pigs.
They can just stick them in a cage their whole life.
But the new world order, they hate cows.
They hate the resilient.
I actually think, this is just a theory of mine, I think they have just a better way of filtering out a lot of the toxins and the poisons that are around us.
So they want our cows.
Here's a cattle farmer warning that things are going to get pretty crazy because of this new regulation that's out there.
Take a listen.
So recently, the USDA came out with a law stating that all cattle and bison in the United States have to have EID tags.
We have six months to comply with this new law.
What is an EID tag?
It's an electronic identification tag.
That tag stores all the information about our cattle.
It has vaccination schedules.
It has feed schedules.
It has medical history.
Now, while that sounds really good on paper, there's a part of me that believes this is for a greater purpose.
Most people are processing their livestock through federal or state inspected facilities.
Part of me believes that in the future, with these tags, they're going to be able to see everything that you've done with that cow.
And if you don't do what they want, will they let you process?
I don't know.
Yeah, I mean, there's all kinds of stuff, all kinds of different plots and stuff.
The whole beef industry is being infiltrated because the price of the cow versus the price of the meat at the store just doesn't make any sense.
Folks, before we go tonight, it's Friday.
