CrossTalk: Pastor Rolando Battles Demons Tormenting the Next Generation
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
A lot of the times like the people come here like not considering themselves like worthy, not considering themselves like capable of doing ministry, capable of like serving God or like even having a relationship with God.
Oh, I've been running from the law.
Hope they won't shoot me down soon.
Looking forward to just, you know, being able to receive God's word and I'm coming up with art that's open.
I mean, I'm a little anxious, but I'm overall excited for it.
This is going to be a powerful three-day weekend.
Every session is going to remove stuff from these kids.
And the next step is to bring them out, bring out the treasure.
But before we bring out the treasure, we're gonna go into battle to help them find their identity And they did a ritual here and if you see all specifics the person that drew this out, but this is a symbol of boy love
*Music* You know, the first day or two, all we're doing is breaking down.
Breaking down unforgiveness that you have in your heart.
We're going deep.
It's like we're putting our hands in the mud.
And we're pulling out all of that ugliness that is in our heart.
My son wants to ask me, says, how do I take him deep, Dad?
And I said, by you going first.
See, we can't take people to a place that we've never been to.
One of the ways that God does this is by breaking us completely.
Because when He breaks us completely, He breaks down those strongholds the way that we think and how we think that we're right or our wrong perspectives of Him.
And the way that God loves doing it is literally by shattering every single thing that is wrong.
because he wants to make you a new heart.
Powerful.
Welcome to Cross Talk News.
I'm Edward Zoll and this is the wonderful Matt Scow.
Before we were journalists, before we're even Americans, we are Christians.
In the womb, he knew.
In the womb, he knew.
We're engaged in the kingdom's business.
At times, the world gets us very distracted.
We do a lot of great work, but sometimes that work is not winning souls.
Yeah, I think even with all the films that I produce, I put it in a biblical worldview.
You report the news in a biblical worldview, but is Christ at the center in all our stories?
Unfortunately, no, it's a lot of evils in the forefront, but the evil is what people will know that God is real because if there's so much evil, it's got to be the reciprocal of that of good, you know?
But these projects right here that we're doing with Manifest and Piniel, those are the ones that excite me because we're seeing the battle At the forefront right there.
And we're seeing lives being flipped upside down and Christ winning right there.
Because they say Christ is king, but king of what?
It's not a slogan.
It's got to be a lifestyle.
It's got to be what you live for.
It's a way of life.
And honestly, this season we're in now, the Lord has a season for everything, but he has definitely activated us in this battle to serve and to support some of the strongest believers and I think some of the greatest warriors The Lord has on the battlefield right now.
Luckily, today on Crosstalk News, we have one of those warriors joining us.
Pastor Rolando, I thank you, sir, for showing me that the Holy Spirit is still alive.
And I welcome you now to our program.
Man, brother, I love your voice.
It's powerful.
I appreciate that.
Man, it's such an opportunity, such an honor to be with you guys as I'm listening to you guys just conversate.
I'm grateful in my heart just to have a people of your capacity.
And I say it like that because I believe that What you guys carry, the anointing that God has put upon you guys, is something for this time.
And I believe God's gonna use us.
And I love the language you're using because you understand it.
The language you're speaking is a language of understanding what our mission is in life.
So I'm really excited, guys.
Somebody.
To give a backstory to the audience of what we just showed them, I met Rolando about seven years ago and just dedicated my life to Christ and God put him in my life at the most perfect time.
Because for me, I was raised in the church, go to the church, would sin six days a week, go to church and say forgive me.
I wasn't living a life given to him.
And I had that moment in 2016 on the edge of a mountain and I said I just wanted to dedicate my life to him.
What the talents he given me, I want to give to him.
I went on a 21-day water fast in January to kill my flesh.
The next month I meet Rolando at a wedding.
I was shooting my brother-in-law's wedding and I didn't know he was officiating the wedding.
And we just hit it off.
You know when you meet someone like me and you, we met and we just hit it off, and you have that connection with somebody, right?
We just hit it off.
And I didn't know he was a pastor at the time, and then he tells me he's officiating the wedding.
I was like, oh, that's cool.
And then he said, go to my church the next day.
And so I go to the church, and I'm with my mom, my wife, and man, I stand up during a sermon, and I'm like, whoa, what am I doing?
I just...
I stood up and I was like, yeah, I was going to sit down and he goes, no, no, keep standing up.
And then he started saying, prophesying over my life and not future telling, but knowing things in the spirit that I was battling, right?
And he was like, I was like, what are you doing?
He's like, we're doing this pineal, this three-day retreat where we bring people in and we minister to them.
And he was like, We're going into, like, war-torn Mexico, and we're dealing with, like, the most oppressed people.
And he's like, said, you want to go film it?
And I was like, I was living in California.
I was like, let's go.
So for two years, I was with him, and we were going into places where we had to get permission from the cartel to go down the street, so they'd give us safe passage, and we just documented the most.
For me, it was acts coming to life.
That's my experience with it too.
You know, it's something, Pastor Rolando, that you've said.
I've been now to two, two separate Peniel manifest events, you know, and even that word.
You have a new, I wouldn't say new, but a lot of people have a misinterpretation sometimes.
They hear manifesting, oh my goodness, you mean like manifesting demons?
No, no.
And you've read the scriptures.
It's in Romans actually twice where it speaks about manifestations of the Holy Spirit against evil, against the demons.
But I've been to two of these so far.
Matt, I think you probably have five or six of them.
Oh, I got a dozen.
You say we're running with you.
We're running with you.
I look at it like we're a pack.
We're a pack.
The body of Christ is a pack that's running together as a team.
We're looking out for each other.
But more than anything, we're deadly.
We're deadly, okay?
I call these guys like spiritual assassins.
Like we go in there and it's warfare.
Tell us and tell the viewers of the origins of Piniel to manifest.
You know, I don't want to preach a god That we say He's powerful, He's unknowing, and then there's no manifestation on it.
For a long time we've been putting names on events, the prophetic and the healing, and we give it so many names around it that when people show up for that, for their miracle, for whatever it is, I feel that it doesn't mean the expectations because there's no manifestation and congruency to what the name is.
So I believe the name means a lot.
And in reality back in 2013 was really the first time I paid attention to names because a lot of us carry names in the spirit and in the physical and it affects our whole way of being.
The way we eat, the way we walk, the way we talk, the way that we carry ourselves in life is affected through the names that we carry and I knew nothing about this and I'm already a minister.
I'm already preaching the gospel at a high level and I get invited to Honduras In 2013, and I always traveled with somebody, and I'll say this quick, but I remember, you know, going there.
This guy had been contacting me for about a year to go into his country.
Ended up going in by myself for some reason.
And at the time I used to have long hair and this big beard.
And I remember him telling me, tie your hair up because you're in the most dangerous city in the world.
This is San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
And I'm thinking to myself like, so why did I come again to this place, right?
So we start traveling and it was a four-hour drive to the destination and I had no idea of it.
And I felt uncomfortable and I believe that that's really where God wants to talk to us.
Yes, there's a place of peace, but He wants to make us uncomfortable and I believe sometimes we don't want to go there.
And he takes me to this mountain called Graciela Empiras.
It's right in the midst of a jungle, guys.
The city was built in the 1400s by the Spaniards.
Everything's intact.
Everything's the same like it was in the 1400s.
And the Lord speaks to me in that mountain.
And for the first time, I hear the name Peniel.
And they were not the best worshipers.
They were not the best at what we see today in modern Christianity in the United States with all the technology and everything.
But the way they worship and the way they carry themselves with the Lord, I have never seen it in my life.
And I said, Lord, I don't know what this is, but I want it.
And that was the first time I had heard the name Pinyin, which means the face of God.
So the Bible talks about a battle that took place with Jacob and the angel.
And all along the angel was really trying to change his name, but Jacob was trying to be Jacob.
And the name Jacob means deceiver.
Somebody gave him that name.
In fact, he didn't choose that name.
Somebody gave it to him at birth.
When you read the story, it's such a powerful story.
But the point is that Jacob fights with this angel and he says that your name's no longer gonna be deceiver, which is Jacob.
Your name's gonna be Israel.
And he says, and he named that place Peniel because he had seen the face of God and he seen God face to face.
And basically it was around...
It was an encounter called the face-to-face experience.
And they told me that day, tonight you're going to meet the Apostle.
I remember meeting the Apostle after everything that God had done in the mountains.
And without me even knowing this individual, without me even comprehending what God was about to do in my life, because I hadn't seen this yet, guys.
Because you're never gonna be able to go to a place that you haven't seen.
In order to go somewhere, you have to have seen it before, at least know a little bit of what it looks like, or else you're gonna have a hard time getting there.
And I remember when I meet this man, he says that he was responsible for bringing over 50% of the whole country of Honduras to the feet of Christ.
And I asked him, how did you do it?
He says, I started with a small group and we started separating ourselves.
In the weekends.
And we called it.
And it was like a three-day encounter that would start on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
I'm like, you need to tell me you guys started separating yourselves and this just blew up.
And he's like, yes.
And when you go to his church, I mean, he has 250,000 people in his church.
I mean, he's ministering to millions of people all over the world.
But the most powerful thing about it was a place of intimacy Called Peniel and that's really how we got started for the first time, guys.
So today we call it Manifest.
There's a big story behind it, but I just feel honored to be able to tell the story because as I'm telling you, I'm actually going back To where it got started, Matt.
That's the truth.
When I experienced it, I was shooting it and it was pastors only.
And I was like, why do pastors need?
It's like, dude, those people aren't getting ministered to.
They're dealing with the muck and they're not.
So to see pastors separate and they get broken down.
And then the second one I shot was a mega manifest where it was like 500 kids.
And the kids were all, you know, they were confused while they go in there.
They think it's a church camp or something, but they don't realize it's like literally you're going into war, spiritual warfare.
And these kids were getting ministered to, look, everybody serving has went through this, right?
And you fast, all the servers, they fast before, and they get even prepared to go to war.
And it was something that I needed because I didn't see it in the church.
I never saw this spiritual warfare.
It's like, what I say is people go to the altar, right, and ask for healing.
The altar comes to them.
That's how it is here.
The altar comes to the people because a lot of times they don't want to release.
They don't want to raise their hands.
They don't know how it is to worship.
And when you have someone there who's helping you and who's hugging you and Who's going to battle for you?
All those things that you've built up start crumbling.
And when you see these kids manifesting in the way of shaking off all this stuff, you're like, oh, it's emotional.
Well, of course it's emotional because they're breaking years of torment and lies are coming out from within.
And you're seeing it come out.
And it's so amazing because you've seen it as like, watch what happens on day three.
These kids who came in, they're all like broken.
They're all filled up with the Holy Spirit and all preaching at the end.
Man, it's so amazing.
So what we're doing, I was making a film.
The film is going to continue, but I needed to make an episodic series out of this because I need people to understand.
Because when I was with Rolando, I was just in Mexico and Brownsville, Texas.
And I was like, I want to see what this looks like outside of Texas, outside of the valley.
And the first episode's in Utah.
So praise God, it's like, it's spreading.
Hey, Matt, let's talk about that.
Let's talk about that because obviously we started doing this in the United States for the first time in 2014.
I'm like, I need to bring this in.
And you know what they told me, Matt?
They told me that this wasn't going to work over here because of our culture.
Yeah.
And, you know, the Holy Spirit confronted me because I took that to prayer, whether I was going to do this or not, with or without the people that told me that.
I said, well, we got to start with us because hunger is hunger wherever you take it.
It doesn't matter what part you are.
And you're right.
It needed to get out of the valley.
And now we shot Utah and that was, what can I tell you, man?
We got marked in that session, man.
It was powerful.
You have a preview to share of this, Matt, is that correct?
So, I pulled out an excerpt from the first pilot episode that we did in Utah, and it's with Rolando's nephew, Isaac, who...
Look, everybody...
What the process, they call them sessions, and some deal with the father, son, God, the father, like these different intimate stories that you can relate to like a broken family or whatever struggles that this person went through.
And when you hear someone who's up there ministering, relating to the people sitting there listening because they went through the same process.
And I think in a lot of churches, and I'm not putting churches down, they're important, right?
But when you hear a man and he's just speaking and then you don't get to talk to him or you're just hearing him and you might think he has a perfect life and you might think you're just terrible.
It was never meant to be like that.
We are like, we're a body of Christ together.
And what Rolando, what I give him a lot of credit for and why I just love him so much, he'll go to the pastor of the church or wherever we're at and he goes, I'm not here to take over or build a church.
I'm here to be with you.
And what they're doing is they're igniting these churches that have dry bones.
And they're just igniting the fire of God, the Holy Spirit.
And so I pulled a clip of Isaac and a little bit of what goes on at Manifest.
So let's run that.
I feel like in the beginning, like it wasn't always easy to serve.
It didn't always come naturally, I guess.
I felt like I had a lot to prove because Rolando being my uncle, I felt like, I mean, I had to, like, meet his expectations or, like, be on his level.
I feel like I found my own, like, way of doing it.
I found my own way of, like, sharing my story.
I found my own way of, like, relating to other people and trying to, like, get them to relate to me and showing, like, my true broken self has always been, like, something hard because, I mean, I don't really enjoy, like, being vulnerable.
I don't really think most people do, but...
I've learned how to be vulnerable in front of the people and show them how God has healed me and from where He has healed me.
I never really had a good relationship with my dad.
I never really told him, I love you.
I always wanted to be with him, but it kind of seemed like he didn't really want to be with me.
So I grew like a hatred towards him because I felt like I wasn't enough for him.
Because the reason my parents split up in the first place was because my dad couldn't be faithful to my mom.
And I blamed him because...
I try my best to not prepare like if that makes sense what I just try to do is like I just try to ask God and the Holy Spirit to like to lead me to guide me and kind of to fill me with the right like emotions and to fill me with the right like sensitivity for the people because because I feel like the serving honestly does more for me than it does for the people because I felt like I was good enough to be loyal for.
I felt like if you're going to be loyal, at least do it for me.
But my mom decided to leave because she didn't want me to be like him.
And I was rebellious.
I didn't want to go to church.
And I felt like I wanted nothing to do with God anymore.
Until they sent me to Peniel.
Nothing really hit me.
I didn't feel any connection too much.
But I heard this topic and it really broke me.
And I decided in that moment I was going to forgive my dad.
I didn't really hold a grudge towards my mom.
And I forgave my dad and I told him I loved him for the first time when I came out of Peniel.
A lot of the times, like, I don't really share my, like, emotions with people, and I share it with God, but it feels a lot different doing it in front of people, and I feel like God definitely uses my ministering to the people to, like, set me free sometimes.
You know, the authenticity of that just exudes, man.
It's very real.
So he goes on to talk about the death of his mother.
And I want to save that for the episode, because it's unbelievably powerful.
But, man, this is a product of Peniel and Manifest.
These are all a product of that.
And he's just sharing his heart.
And you can see the people in the audience, they're feeling those kind of...
The emotions are real.
And they're experiencing what they're going through and that brokenness.
And what do you think, Rolando?
Man, bro, you got me crying, man.
Wow.
Oh my gosh, man.
You know that when all this got put on hold, man, it was like, Like I would dream of going back to that because we we had tapped into just a way of giving people an opportunity to be them.
That's really what is why it's called manifest now because I believe the word Peniel you know from 2014 and 2017 that season was amazing and it was Peniel season it was the encounter we encountered him And I'm like, okay, God, we encountered you already.
Now what's next?
Now it's time to go out to the harvest.
So there's a way where We can just activate the harvest, their gifts, their attributes, their dreams.
Just giving them an opportunity to activate people and let some understand that this is not about just one man ministering on a Sunday and you go and listen to him.
That's something man-made.
That's not even the way it's supposed to be.
So people are limited, man.
And people are limited because they don't even understand that they got a voice.
Yeah, that's one thing.
And if you really think about it, it goes, yeah, it goes deep, man.
That's one thing that you'll see in this and you experience.
I cannot explain the feeling it is to see An 80-year-old woman weeping and have a mic in her hand for the first time because she's always sat in a pew or she's always been silent.
And then to proclaim that Jesus is everything.
Or a 10-year-old to say, I love Jesus and really filling him up to the point where he gets to express it.
A lot of times where we take these kids and we put them in these like, you go to the children's ministry and you go play basketball.
What is that?
Like, what are we doing?
What are we teaching them?
We've kind of like bottled up the Holy Spirit in these four walls.
And again, I'm not knocking the church, but it's the church producing fruit.
We know Christ snapped at the fig tree because it wasn't producing fruit.
This, I'm telling you, at a 98-99% clip, these kids are coming in there, and adults, and they're getting flipped upside down for Christ, and they're expressing the trueness of what it is to have the living God living inside of you.
I think what's very powerful about this, it is the verbal testimony and submission.
And you think of this, hearing both of you two men of God talk about this topic, maybe think about Matthew, maybe think about John, maybe think about the original apostles.
In every case, they had to make a verbal submission to Christ.
It wasn't that they could be quiet.
Because we've been in those churches where everyone's like, everyone's just kind of subdued, not getting engaged.
It's dead.
We're called to dance and praise.
And literally, that's what, to praise Him, right?
You know, it's what the apostles did when Jesus came back, is after he rebuked them for not believing what the women had said about the tomb being opened, he's like, then they ate, and they sang, and they worshiped together.
There are angels there 24 hours a day.
What day is even a time in heaven.
That are just singing to God.
So what the church is lacking right now, I believe what Rolando's doing with his team, they're filling in those gaps where it's falling short.
And what is so important is to get the body excited again.
Get them a microphone and be able to confess that Jesus is God and that he's changed my life.
And set these people out so they can go make disciples out of people.
You have to be out there openly active in your day to day.
And a lot of people go and just go to their church and they feel they can go in there, but they don't even fully express it in church.
And then that's done.
It's not like we're living it daily.
Like, I get like when I'm done at a manifest and I just I feel like anywhere I'm walking to, boom, I'm going to run into somebody.
And they can see it and feel it.
It's like the soul and the light of what we're supposed to be.
I'm in that spiritual zone of like, I want people to feel it just radiating out of me.
And it happens.
I'll tell one story that's so crazy.
We were shooting, and we were in it.
The Holy Spirit was just so thick with us.
It was me, Rolando, and Juan de Leon.
We were driving to a church because we were going to do an activation.
This car was coming.
We were on a two-lane highway.
The guy tried to wave us down, turns around, follows us, and gets out.
We're like, what's going on?
What's this guy doing, right?
Young kid, he's got like tattooed on his face and everything.
And I get the camera out and I'm like recording it.
And he's like, I don't know what it is, but I just felt like something over me to stop you guys and talk to you.
And we were like, bro, like, you don't even know.
And we were like, the Holy Spirit wants you.
And so that guy, we said, come back with your family at 6 o'clock tonight, and you're going to change your life.
He came to that service with his whole family, and they all got saved.
Wow.
Praise the Lord.
It's so amazing.
It's unbelievable.
Pastor Rolando, many people are hearing about this for the first time, and this country is going through a harsh realization right now.
They're starting to realize that evil is indeed real, that demon possession That is absolutely a thing.
It's not just something that was a fairy tale in the Bible.
No, it's very real.
I think that many can attest to this.
They don't know what to call it.
Many secular people are experiencing it.
They don't know what to call it, but we know what it is.
How can our audience get involved with Manifest?
How can they support you?
How can they serve?
I know not everyone gets to serve, but how can they get involved?
Well, there's many ways to get involved, but the best way to get involved, we don't want just people, hey, we're a non-profit, of course, just give us money.
No, it's not even about that.
It's about, come and experience it for yourself.
Come and find out, you know, that the Lord, you know, come and have a taste of the bread of life, and you're like, well, I'm already a Christian.
Yeah, but we carry stuff.
So look, God designed us in so many ways, and that's what we have to show people.
Sometimes we hear the word manifest, and it sounds like a mystical word, guys.
Romans 8, 19 says that the earth awaited, and creation awaited the manifestation of the sons of God.
In other words, they're expecting, creation's expecting us for us to take our role the way we are supposed to, you know, walk on earth.
God gave us a dominion.
God gave us an authority.
God gave us government.
But that gets lost through sin, guys.
Christ comes to restore that, and the enemy doesn't want people to have a voice.
The enemy doesn't want us to operate at the next level.
They want us to get in debt.
They want us to become enslaved and love things.
That way we get occupied and not understand what the heart is about.
Most people will never discover themselves because they don't know why they were put on this earth.
You can support us by disconnecting with us first.
Come and check this out.
Get involved with us.
Follow us on our page.
It's manifest.
I must manifest or I am Rolando somebody.
You can follow me on Instagram, social media.
Send us a message and this next 2024 is going to be It's gonna be something very powerful.
We have a whole strategy for the whole country.
We're gonna divide the country in different sections.
There's a lot of people that want this that have been sending us messages.
And I believe we're gonna just take it to another level, guys.
So you can get involved by understanding.
Once you understand it, Then you can understand what the scripture says.
So what Matt said, he said, I saw Acts come to life.
And what he's really saying is that literally we're taking scenes right out of the scripture.
And we're literally putting it on real time.
And some people need to see how that looks like.
Because you need to understand that we live in the system of this world.
The Bible says that we live in this world, but we're not of this world.
So what does that mean?
That means that you can become a slave, even as a Christian, to the system of this world.
So we're emotional.
Some of us need healing emotionally.
Some of us need to be healed physically.
Some of us need to be healed psychologically guys.
So what do we do on these weekends?
These weekends The group of people, especially the ones that are gonna serve, the ones that are disconnecting, these are people that have all just separated themselves.
They understand.
They're from different parts of the country, different parts of the world.
They're people that have died to the system of this world, and they understand what we're doing.
And all we're doing is we're washing people in the spirit.
That's what we do, guys.
There's people that need to be washed.
People have been wounded.
We're yoked to stuff.
We're yoked to moments.
We're yoked to relationships.
And you might say, well, that happened 20 years ago.
But when you hear that song or you smell that, it actually triggers you and takes you back to that moment.
That means you're still yoked to it.
Yeah.
So how do you know this?
We're Christians.
Why are we being taught this?
Because you're depending on one man to feed you on Sundays.
And I'm sorry to say, that looks amazing, but that's not the way it's supposed to look.
It looks good for a person.
It looks good for ego.
It looks good.
I'm telling you that I come from that world, guys, at a high level.
I was in big platforms, and I like the guys.
I like being there.
But...
But the biggest and the greatest is not the one that's up there, guys.
It's the one that serves.
So yes, right now, It's almost like I have to be on the platform, but you know what?
I'm getting other people ready for the platform.
I'm getting other people ready for the next level.
And I believe that that's why this is so important because we're going to continue casting the net, guys.
And every time you cast the net, the net brings all kinds of stuff, man.
We have to understand that not all of them are supernatural catches in numbers or big numbers because in the natural, in the flesh, we get puffed up because we see the numbers and that's cool, man.
But does that make you more successful to the person in another part of the world that only has 20, but those are the ones that God has assigned to that person?
Does that make you more successful than that person because you have more people?
No!
This is kingdom.
In the kingdom, it works different.
So there's a supernatural catch of the 3,000, but then there's the ones in the same chapter 2 of Acts that the ones that needed to be saved were added daily.
And I believe both of them are important because God does use massive evangelism.
There's nothing against it.
But I believe that we also have to be content when we bring in that one person because the kingdom of God is like a man that found a treasure in that property and went and purchased the whole property.
What is he talking about?
Yeah, when Christ went after that one, the 99.
And I think that's what you're doing.
It's just one, bro.
And I think that's so important.
They're getting their hands dirty.
They're In the battle with them.
And the most beautiful thing, and I think it's the testament to this, is the fruit.
All the people who went through it are now serving.
Amen.
And that's just the most fulfilling and beautiful thing.
Let me add to that testimony, because everyone talks about the 99 and the 1.
There's a great example of that in the Gospel, and it's when Jesus Christ rebuked the demon-possessed man in the crypt.
That was one.
People had given up on it.
He was breaking chains.
He was doing all kinds of crazy things.
He was naked.
He was doing all kinds of ghoulish, devilish things in the crypts.
Comes up, faces the Son of God Himself, and is rebuked.
The demon legion comes out of him into swine.
Wouldn't it be amazing to follow up on him?
Oh, that would have been interesting.
Because he went back to the town.
I'm sure he built a church or something.
Tell them all.
Go back to your town and tell them.
But that was one.
That was one man that society had given up on.
They said this man was crazy.
But Jesus Christ, through the power of prayer and fasting, was able to help this man.
And then we hold that same power, and that's what we see it manifest, that, look, you have the authority to command those spirits, and this is a spiritual war, and that's all it is.
That's all it is.
This is a spiritual battle daily with yourself against the oppression and then the other people that you can help and serve.
And this is what Bottom Line Manifest is, is serving.
Amen.
Serving.
Can you share that website one last time or at least your social handles, Pastor Rolando?
Yes, it's I Must Manifest on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
You guys can find us.
We're hitting all the platforms.
You know, we're sharing a lot of amazing content of what we're doing today.
Guys, this is not something small.
This is something very, very big.
God is sending the right people for the assignment.
And I mean, obviously, these two guys that I'm talking to right now, you guys are just, you guys are edifying my spirit so much today, man.
Somebody.
Amen.
Yeah.
And then, hey, look forward to the first pilot that I'm feverishly editing right now.
We should have that ready at the beginning of the year.
So we'll drop that first episode of Manifest Utah.
We got Atlanta we were at.
You weren't at that one, but it was so amazing.
It was amazing, man.
Atlanta was awesome.
We're going to go do the whole calendar year next year is like filling up.
So we're taking this on the road.
We need, I'm not going to lie, we need financial support.
They need buses.
We have a team of 30 people go there.
Equipment.
Look, if you are giving to a church, it feels, you're doing, you feel obligated and we're told to give, right?
With a generous heart.
But a lot of people just give to the church because it feels, I gave to a church, I feel good.
An obligation.
But what is the, what's the money going for?
A lot of times, like, they don't even care.
They're just, look, right now I'm telling you, If you send in those reinforcements here, you're going to see the harvest come in.
The fish are being caught.
They're being cleaned.
And they're being teamed with churches in every city they go to.
So the team goes in, activates, and then leaves these new creations in Christ there.
And then they're getting edified and discipled at those churches that they're partnering with.
But the team's moving on.
So there's a new city, a new weekend, and this is really producing the fruit.
So I urge people who are out there who are giving faithfully, invest in this.
I cannot stress it enough.
The crowns are being delivered.
It's so amazing.
And I'm just honored that we, as me and you, get to work on a project like this, that we get to highlight what Rolando's doing with his ministry.
And we're just going to believe and know that everything's going to come in that needs to come in.
Amen.
And we'll put an email for the ministry for you, Pastor Roland, in the description, just in case there are people that may not have an Instagram, may not have a Facebook, but they want to reach out and want to help.
So in the description below, if you'd like to help.
And look, there's a lot of work to be done.
The laborers are few, as the scripture tells us.
It's true.
In this day and age, everyone wants to have a new car, a new boat, a plane.
But I'll tell you this, none of that stuff is going to take this next generation into eternity.
You don't get to bring any of it with you.
Nope.
Nope.
None of it comes with you.
But I'll tell you this.
What comes with you are the warriors in the kingdom.
And I'm among them.
That's what I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving.
I'm thankful to have such warriors in Christ around me.
God bless you.
God bless you, Matt.
God bless you, Pastor Rolando.
Amen.
Thanks, bud.
All right, before we close on out, we have one more interview for the day.
But before I even do that, I have to speak to the audience about our sponsor.
One of the sponsors for this program, has been our sponsor for about two years now, is Goldco.
Now, if you are having some issue with, again, your finances, you're having, especially with your retirement accounts, many people right now have been completely rocked by the stock exchange.
The stock exchange has destroyed their retirement accounts, IRA accounts.
Listen up.
We're staring down the barrel once again of an economic apocalypse.
It ain't looking like a conspiracy theory.
I'll tell you that.
It's very real.
It seems the globalist elite are fixing to roll out a digital dollar.
And if us regular Americans don't rise up and fight back, they'd be able to monitor every red cent you make or spend.
Which is why some good ordinary folks just like you and me are taking a bold and extraordinary step.
Because it's something you can finally hold onto your hands with.
That would be gold and silver.
You need to take a step toward saving, saving through precious metals.
Gold and silver are tangible metals that God plays through on Earth.
Head over to goldco.com or call 855-966-5722 and get your free 2023 gold IRA kit from my partners at Gold Co.
And when you visit Gold Co., that's goldco.com, or call 855-966-5722 or call 855-966-5722 or call 855-966-5722 Now, I have many friends, Matt, in the industry.
Many friends that are in different industries that are fighting for the kingdom, fighting to try to push back this deluge of chaos.
You know, you and I, we're kind of like unicorns in this.
You know, we're not shaken by the stuff.
We've seen it all.
I've got calluses.
And I think about that.
With Pastor Rolando and so many others we've met, it's almost as if the men of God are so much stronger if they've stepped up to the plate, taken some setbacks, taken some hits from the devil, because once you step up to the plate and serve the kingdom, you're a target for the devil.
And then, after that, you are forged.
I almost think that that person, the people after that, it's like a process.
If they haven't gone through that yet, I have to question.
Because it's the forging.
That process is what really makes men like Pastor Orlando, men like you and I. And, you know, another man who's in the same fight is Clayton Llewellyn.
I had a chance to speak to him today about Preparedness, their Black Friday special for HeavensHarvest.com.
They both have food and preparedness items, water and heirloom seeds.
We had a very interesting conversation about the state of the country, but more so what the average American needs to have ready so they're not shocked.
Another thing with him, he's a man of principle.
I think he got into this because he saw that there was a need for it.
And as a Christian, that he could facilitate the needs that he thought were lacking in the industry of food and preparing yourself for whatever is to come.
And what a great man he is.
And yeah, it's always good to hear from him.
Well, here it is.
Here is Clayton Llewellyn from Heaven's Harvest.
Enjoy the interview.
We'll talk to you when we get back.
Well, welcome back to Crosstalk News, Clayton.
How have you been?
Busy.
How have you been?
I've been busy, too.
I think for anyone who's both awake and discernful in these times, no one should be bored.
Boy, it has been a pretty wild year, okay?
And that's an understatement, isn't it, you know?
Whether it be the political turmoil or the eruption of wars on pretty much every continent on the globe, I think that both in our lines of work, our profession, but also as Christians, we are well aware of the times of which we are living in.
Clayton, you're out in Georgia.
You generally are separated from the mayhem of some of the cities, but for people that you live around, a lot of your customers, I know they're national, but still you're very connected in your community.
How have people felt about the lawsuits and the actual ongoing trials against President Trump?
Well, look, man, we're not, you know, and that's a common misconception.
We like to think we're separated from everything that's going on in the world, and we're not.
We're not separated from it.
We're not prepared for it any more than the next person is.
You know, it's, going back to what you said there, like, about everything going on in the world, and I'd I mean, I'm only in my mid-40s, but I can't remember a time before this or even in history remember a time where there's been so much turmoil.
I guess that's a great word to use, turmoil, going around everywhere.
You know what I mean?
You've got COVID that hit.
We've got Iraq or Afghanistan, Iraq.
The Middle East is a mess.
The Middle East is a mess again in Israel.
Russia's invading Ukraine.
You know, you've got China and Taiwan.
Like, it's just, it's crazy.
You look at the statistics from cities in this country.
Even this country is a disaster.
Nothing's straightened out.
Our border's an absolute mess.
Our cities are erupting in violence.
Like, I read an article this morning, like, Chicago's crime rate's up another 60% from last year.
Like, it's just, nothing's getting fixed.
It's only getting worse.
And, you know...
And again, that's part of the reason we lived in Florida.
Part of the reason we moved to Georgia is to get away from this stuff, and it turns out you're really not that far away from it.
You know, so we're, even in these areas, we're not as, you know, we're not as safe as we think we are.
Well, see, the thing about rural areas, and you're right, you know, it is a common misconception even for the Mid-rural.
That's what I would consider myself.
I'm in a part of Florida that is not Miami, not Orlando.
But, you know, I go to work.
I have cows on the side of the road.
I've got farms all around me.
It's still kind of a city.
It's connected.
And there is this, at least when I look at some of the things, for example, like drugs.
Drugs, up until very recently, Had not damaged or kind of come into our lives.
The fentanyl war is a term I've been kind of talking about for quite some time, but never had a personal interaction with fentanyl, specifically in the war on drugs.
This past month, we had a very personal interaction with fentanyl, and one of our dear friends passed away from using a drug laced with it.
And, you know, it's the craziest thing to think about that the Chinese are literally importing a drug that will kill.
It's not like a question of people getting, like, recreationally high with fentanyl.
It is a drug being produced that, for all intents and purposes, its intent is to murder Americans or others that would use it.
And I think about this.
I think about the war as the turmoil we're talking about.
COVID was one thing, and I think at this point it is not a controversial thing to assert that it is highly likely that COVID-19 originated in a weapons lab either in China, which there's been a lot of evidence for in Wuhan, Or in the United States at Fort Detrick.
But in respect to fentanyl, I look at the response from the government, and you're in Georgia, I'm in Florida.
We're not necessarily border states, but we kind of are border states in the sense that we have ports of entry.
We have things that are trafficked, both people and substances trafficked through our states.
We are impacted by it.
And more than that, Clayton, maybe you could speak to this.
Think back to a lot of high school friends.
Maybe you're still in touch with some of them.
Maybe you still see them on Facebook.
I know I do.
Have you seen the impact of families that this turmoil has had?
Dude, it's crazy.
I'll tell you what's crazy.
I honestly feel like the United States government could stop this if we wanted to.
But if you're one of our enemies...
What's the best way to win a war?
Let's get rid of the fighting age men.
I mean, they figured out a way to send a drug to the United States that kills you with a very little amount, and it's killing fighting age men.
You know, I believe this is planned.
This is all part of the process.
You know, we're not going to war tomorrow.
At least I pray we're not going to war tomorrow.
If I were one of our enemies wanting to go to war, let's eliminate as many of the soldiers as we can.
Let's fly balloons across the United States that we know our government's too afraid to shoot down.
You know, I mean, they're textbooked right now.
They're building bases all over the world.
I mean, their trade is impacting everyone.
So, you know, we could go everywhere with this thing, but, you know, we were talking to somebody the other day that They're hoping the stuff in the Middle East right now doesn't start World War III. I believe this is the beginning of World War III. You know, the only thing we're missing right now is the bombing of a Pearl Harbor.
But it's almost like China's putting itself right in line to maybe not bomb Pearl Harbor, but they're putting themselves right in line to have a war in the Pacific.
Well, my prayers every day are, as a peacemaker, it's tough, especially watching what's happened in Israel.
I'm not a fan of Hamas.
I've been a pretty vocal opponent to some of the more supremacist views from the Israeli government.
But even past that, the Chinese.
We haven't even contended with the fact that, obviously, there's elements in our government, Clayton, that want to start a war with China, and they see this as the perfect route, whether it be in the Middle East or with China.
But also, China has their own war.
I've interacted with some of them in the past.
I went to the summit in Vietnam with President Trump and Kim Jong-un.
And at that summit, I had a very interesting conversation with the editor-in-chief of the Global Times.
Now, the Global Times at the time was a very nationalistic publication.
It was one we considered to be actually very truthful about things that were happening in retrospect in our country.
They would speak about the impact.
of US hegemony, empire building, and tyranny in America and how this is impacting the world.
But they've definitely taken a distinct change.
They're mirroring the same neoconservative establishment we have here, Clayton, that their goal is not only to promote their nation, China, But also to stoke, you know, war through propaganda, stoke fear through propaganda against what they perceive as their enemies, which are us.
And that's why I go back to the fentanyl.
I think you're 100% right.
It was a military age male.
Most of the people I work with, my staff, are military-aged males.
They're in their 20s and early 30s.
And I think to this diabolical plan, whether we blame the Chinese, we blame the devil himself.
Think about the way our most...
I say the most vibrant, those with the most potential, how they're being impacted by not just fentanyl, but by all the things in society, whether it be alcohol, pornography, lack of upward progression in professional sense, but also family.
I have mentioned the Facebook, you know, and friends because It was something I was doing.
I was trying to think this weekend about Thanksgiving.
I don't know about you.
Actually, I probably think I can speak for you in this.
You're probably really looking forward to the time with family, right?
You got a beautiful family.
You got a great family.
I got a great family too.
My sister is coming into town today with her baby.
And I was just looking on Facebook, how many people are either caught up in the terrors of the world or they're looking forward to this time with family.
And it's kind of split.
You know, if they're still alive, if they're still productive.
But with you, you took a hard stand as a man, as a Christian, and you started a business.
You've been working so hard for the last decade, last two decades.
In respect to that, you could probably speak very wholeheartedly to this.
First of all, what are you thankful for coming this Thanksgiving to?
Do you think it's changed what it means to be an American?
And what does it still mean to you?
Yeah, you know, to just take a step back there, what's funny is you talk about, you know, how hard we've worked with this business.
And I can remember when we started this business, you know, 10, 12 years ago, we started with the heirloom seed kit, not to get into, you know, the business side of it, but we started with the heirloom seed kit, which was the, like, eat healthy.
We were working on farms in Florida, watching, you know, all the crops being sprayed.
Which turned into, now we're fighting hurricanes.
We'd ordered survival food and didn't like what I had got, so we decided to add survival food to our site.
And what started off as eating healthy and worrying about, you know, a two-week power outage because of a hurricane has now become very real.
Like, wait a second, this may become more than that.
We may need this for more than that.
And you see what's going on in the world in the last couple years.
Like, This may be for a survival situation where we're without something for three months, six months, a year.
Bring that into Thanksgiving.
The first time we celebrated Thanksgiving, the Indians were helping us out because we were not prepared for the winter in front of us, for what was coming.
I hate to say it, but every Thanksgiving, all I think about that is now.
How many families were enjoying Thanksgiving today?
But we're not prepared for what's in front of us.
Could we make it through the winter without this?
And back to the rural areas.
Even where I'm at, when you're talking about driving past a cow, could you slaughter that cow?
Could you kill that cow?
Could you cut that cow up and eat it?
I was talking to a gentleman last night.
How many people can't even start a fire right now?
You know, the preparation, the preparedness, it's been lost in two generations.
You know, our grandparents didn't have any problem with this when World War II hit.
You know, most of us were still farmers.
We grew our own food.
We knew how to take care of ourselves.
I mean, how many people, even in rural areas, are still reliant on the grocery store?
I'm guilty of it.
You know what I mean?
My family's guilty of it, and I know 99% of the people around here are guilty of it.
So that's kind of where I'm at on Thanksgiving.
I get thinking, you know, how many people are, you know, have gotten everything they need from the grocery store to feed themselves on Thanksgiving.
We've really missed the last 200 years there where we had Indians taking care of us and now we have big government, big business taking care of us.
Well, Clayton, you very effectively and poetically addressed the second question, too.
And I think that when it comes to being American, preparedness was at the heart of what was expected.
Absolutely.
We live in a pretty tough land.
We've, of course, hunted the wolves into extinction, but we've let new wolves into society.
And with respect to the preparedness, I do hope to stoke among both those who watch And among my friends and family, the necessity to learn the skills of old.
I think technology in a lot of ways has tricked us into thinking that we will never have to handle or contend with a situation where we lose power, won't have access to food.
To your question about the cow, I just learned how to do that.
It's very difficult.
It's not an easy process.
It's something that, honestly, one of the biggest things many Americans would have an issue with is just they're a little bit separated from what it means to slaughter an animal, like as in the smell and the process.
That alone would probably cause many people to throw up.
But the problem here is that they consume meat.
On a regular basis, our diets are very full, and we're very lucky to have access to such things.
But again, the luck seems to be coming to an end.
But that doesn't mean that we're alone in this.
Go ahead, Clay.
No, absolutely.
We've given up our freedoms for comfort.
You know what I mean?
It's everything now.
Our transportation.
You know, 75 years ago, we had our own horses, our own, you know, wagons to get us around, our own food.
Like, we've given that up now to big business.
And food's something we really look into a lot to see what's going on.
Your local farmer doesn't exist anymore.
You know, this is all massive corporations growing your food.
You know, we talk about Bill Gates a lot and the amount of farmland he's buying up.
Between him and Jeff Bezos, I actually believe Jeff Bezos has about twice as much as Bill Gates.
So there we've given two of the richest men in the world somewhere close to a million acres of farmland now.
And we're not talking like forest or, you know, tundra or something like that.
We're talking about good, fertile farmland.
And two people are controlling that much of it.
We saw what he did with Microsoft.
How much competition does Microsoft have now?
Very few.
Hardly any.
Hardly any.
They're working toward the same goal.
Yeah.
So when people talk, you know, and you hear like Jeff Bezos and these guys and Bill Gates saying, you know, we're just we're trying to create jobs and this and that.
No, you're not.
You're trying to take control of the food source, which is exactly what they're going to do, just like both of them have done with their businesses.
Amazon doesn't have any competition.
Microsoft has very little competition.
Now give them control of the food.
I believe it was Henry Kissinger.
You know, you control the oil, you control nations.
You control food, you control the people.
And they both know this.
They'll get a hold of the food supply, the food sources, the seeds, and they'll have complete control of society.
Well, in this complete control of society, I think I often try to temper my analysis I'm looking at, has this happened in the past?
Well, I think it's really true to say it has not happened to this degree.
What's different now is technology at its base level means knowledge, application of innovation and of work and sweat.
But in the modern context, technology is so separated from us the same way the basic skills of survival are separated from us.
It's the same way no one knows how to start a fire or slaughter a cow.
Very few of us know how our computers function or how our cell phones work or how our power grid is operated and is maintained.
And this puts humanity in a very, very odd situation where there is definitely a class of expertise.
And I'd say this class of expertise, they have a certain knowledge.
I suspect Clayton, and I don't speak for you, but I suspect That some in the technology realm, that they have been directly inspired by the devil himself with some of the initiatives and innovations which they've deployed on society.
And I've spoken to some people in the military and friends I've had in the past that stayed in the government service.
They tell me there's a lot of mystery.
But what I do know is this.
I do know that our first step to an independence, a true liberty, and I'd say a comfort, It's of course to lean into our Father, lean into our faith.
But the second is the same.
You have to be engaged and be on an understanding of the things which you need day to day.
And I know when it comes to power, technically I could go without my cell phone, my computer, and maybe even electricity for a time.
And also in this sense, I could go without I could go without several of the necessities when it comes to meat and these other things.
But it's not so much minimalistic living.
I want to live a full life so that I can fulfill the Great Commission and also build community.
I want to be an asset to that community.
Part of it is understanding these core skills.
I mean, I've been going around on Gab.
I've got a lot of friends who produce content for Gab and Gab's video platform.
And what they've been focused on this past year, Clayton, it's actually almost as if like a switch went off in some people's heads.
There was a lot of calls last year, especially with the war in Ukraine threatening the grain supply globally.
A lot of calls were get back to homesteading, get back to preparedness at the basic level, learn how to provide.
I've seen this.
Are you seeing this too?
Oh, absolutely.
And the funny thing is, we're calling it preparedness now.
We're calling it survivalist skills.
Two generations ago, this was just living.
For thousands of years, we just lived.
It's only been the last two generations that it's been lost.
And again, it's comfort.
We've given up comfort for freedom.
I remember growing up, we had a cistern out back that collected rainwater off the gutters.
We had a root cellar where we kept potatoes.
At the end of the year, we canned our beans and stuff.
We didn't lose this too long ago.
It really shocks me.
We set a fire.
Give somebody a book of matches.
For everybody at home, think about it.
Go find a book of matches at your house and start a fire.
This isn't one of those skills that...
It's a fire.
We can start a fire.
I'll bet half of you out there can't start a fire.
That's sad.
We've lost that skill.
Now turn the power out.
Turn the lights out.
How many people have really sat around in the dark at night?
No lights on.
No TV. I don't think we realize how dark it gets at night.
Are you prepared for the power to go out?
It's a very, very, very real possibility.
I've talked to Lauren in the past that That somebody that knows our power system here in the United States could shut the East Coast off in a matter of minutes.
And it would take months and months and months to get that back on.
Months and months and months to get that back on.
Because we don't manufacture any of it here anymore.
It all comes from overseas.
This is a very real possibility.
Like I said, in my lifetime, I can't think of when we've been this close to these kinds of situations or these scenarios.
What started off as worrying about hurricanes has turned into a real survival situation here.
It's something we all need to pay attention to.
Not just pay attention, but also take steps.
You mentioned that for Heaven's Harvest, you started with seeds.
You still have them.
You still have seeds.
You still have water.
You also have some of the best preparedness food out there.
We call it preparedness.
Let's just call it delicious, delicious food I can store.
I think I speak for Lauren in this respect.
The Chili Mac is top-notch.
Okay, I quite like the Chili Mac.
Can you tell us a little bit about the Black Friday special that you guys have going?
You know, we get...
And again, this is one of those things that five or six years ago when I was looking for presents for friends or family, you know, I'm thinking, you know, a pair of socks or a shirt or maybe a gift card to a restaurant or something.
And now it's become really...
I'll tell you, people are really excited when they're getting them, but we've been sending them buckets of food or seed kits to put away and store.
It's kind of one of those things that, I mean, you see what inflation is doing right now.
A lot of families are living to paycheck to paycheck.
So getting them something like this, you know, a bucket of food, a one-week kit, a month kit, a seed bucket, you know, it's something that it may save their life.
You know, but it's also teaching them to eat healthy, to put food away, to store food.
You know, and again, this is one of those things we've done for thousands of years.
Thousands of years we've prepared for winter.
And now we're three days away from total chaos if the grocery store closes down.
So the food kits and the seed kits are great, great presents for Christmas or going into the holidays or to get people started for next year.
And I know for me specifically, I have a new kind of incentive to store seeds.
And I think for seeds, especially the heirloom seeds that Heaven's Harvest provides, These seeds may end up becoming some of the few unadulterated, unchanged, ungenetically modified seeds that are available.
We mentioned the farmland.
For some of these huge corporations, and especially for Bill Gates, their intent is to Go ahead, Kelly.
You know, we were talking to somebody, it's been six months ago, but I was talking to somebody that they were asking about heirloom seeds.
And there will be a day when heirloom seeds are outlawed.
And I kind of got laughed at that day.
And you know, the whole, you know, between conspiracy theory and the truth is about 24 hours anymore.
It wasn't a week later, an article came out, and I believe it was in England, somewhere over there, I believe it was England.
That the government there was trying to, if you had heirloom seeds, you had to get each of them tested every year.
They're trying to pass that law where you've got to get each of them tested to make sure that they're not disrupting the food supply or the food chain that's in there, which has nothing to do with that.
You know what I mean?
Heirloom seeds, you can save and keep these seeds for the next 100 years, 200 years.
The thing that sucks about that is your government can't control you anymore.
You know, they want to provide the seeds.
They want to provide the food.
And now we're learning, why do they want to provide it?
So they can put their vaccines directly into our food and, you know, they can inject it into the beef.
They can't do that if we're growing our own.
So it's, you know, what was a joke and got laughed at for saying that they'll ban these things or outlaw them is actually becoming reality.
So we'll, again, the United States is never too far behind Europe.
We'll see it here sooner than later.
And certainly there can be no other reasoning other than to take away the ability of an individual or community and a family to provide for themselves and not have to rely on the government, not have to rely on bureaucratic overlords.
And boy, I think back to Zimbabwe, I think back to many other examples we've been given historically.
Of governments attempting to control the food supply, micromanage the food supply for greed and for tyranny.
And it always results in starvation.
Starvation for the masses.
But here's the thing is, we've been given how many decades of a heads up?
You talk about the decadence at the beginning of this interview.
One of the things that we have as such a free resource is not only the internet, but just books.
The amount of knowledge that is available for the average person to learn a skill, learn a profession, specifically to learn to prepare, learn to conserve, learn to grow food, learn to, again, deal with various ecological and biological disasters.
It's never been more available at a touch of a finger.
But instead, what do people do?
They play video games with their free time.
They listen to more, you know, banter and commentary from their favorite conservative, you know, speakers.
Honestly, taking this time, especially during the season when you were with your family, you know, to take in how important your time is day to day to prepare.
I know as a man who's pretty up on his survival skills, you know, in regard to fire making and even just conservation.
John, do you have some basic tips you can give to someone who's stumbled upon this?
This is simple.
It's one of those things like for thousands of years, we've been doing it.
So it's in our, it's in our blood.
It's in our DNA. You know, it just takes a little bit of practice to get it back.
And a lot of people don't realize that what they need to survive, they've already got at home or, or a quick trip to Walmart and 30 minutes later, maybe a hundred dollars later, you've got a lot of what you need at hand.
You know, the, The basic fire-making skills.
I know it sounds silly, but go home tonight with a book of matches and try to make a fire.
Go out into the backyard and pick sticks up.
Pick logs up.
See if you can make a fire.
It's one of those things that...
I don't want to say it's not as easy as it sounds, but you'd be shocked how many people can't do it.
When you run out of matches, what are you going to do?
When you run out of your lighters, what are you going to do?
It's funny.
30 years ago, everybody had lighters laying around their house.
Like, nobody's smoking anymore, which is good, but we don't have nearly as many lighters laying around now either.
So figure out how to rub two sticks together.
You know, I mean, it's one of those things that, again, a fire may save your life if the power goes out.
First aid, you know, get simple first aid things.
You know, get them picked up and put together, put them somewhere.
You know, you'll talk to a lot of, like, firefighters, EMTs, or people like that that If something happens, it's repetition.
It's muscle memory.
They know what to do.
They know where to go.
And I'm guilty of it.
My daughter was swimming in the pool earlier this summer, and she jumped into the pool and hit her leg on one of the steps and busted her leg open.
I mean, she had a really big gash.
Well, we've kind of got a drawer or an area where we keep our first aid stuff, but I went in there looking for gauze and couldn't find gauze.
And I can just remember being so mad thinking, this is what I preach, this is what I talk about, this is what I do.
And thank God it wasn't bleeding bad, but I spent, you know, a minute in there looking for gauze when it should have been five seconds.
I hate to say it, my temper got the best of me.
Before I knew it, there was first aid supplies all over the bathroom because I was so aggravated not being able to find gauze.
If somebody was really badly hurt, you should be able to run in there, grab it, and be out and have them patch back up.
Food and water.
We're all so used to being able to turn on a faucet and water come out.
What happens if water doesn't come out?
Do you know where to get water?
Do you know how to filter water?
Again, back to can you start a fire to boil water?
Like, these are simple things.
They don't take a lot of money.
You know, and again, it can be fun.
Take your kids out back.
See if you can get them to start a fire.
Teach them to start a fire.
You know, get a pot that stays in the top of your closet that never gets touched.
You know, we've got things on our website, like the Kelly Kettle, that is great for starting fires and boiling water.
But it's one of those things like This doesn't need to be something you use every day.
This is something that needs to go in the top of the closet, that never get touched, that if there's an emergency situation, it's there and you can use it.
Water filter bottles.
We've, again, they're on the site, but it's one of those things that, you know, and we've all got water bottles today.
They're laying all over the place.
I mean, I open our cupboards at home and it's like there's more metal in our cupboards from water bottles than coffee cups now.
You know, but get one of these filter bottles, stick it in the top of your closet, and if the power goes out and there's no water, you can run down to the stream or the creek and dip this out and get water.
You know, we Water is really overlooked a lot.
You know, what is it, three days without water and you die?
You know, you can go a couple weeks without food.
But again, you know, even the food, like, again, if the power's out or, you know, something like that, go home and take a quick inventory of your house because there's not nearly as much food in there as you think there is.
You know, the freezers that, guys, you know, I've got five deer stacked in my freezer.
Again, if the power goes out, you've got a couple weeks to eat it.
And then what?
You know, so it's one of those things like the survival food is really important to have at least a few months of it.
It's stuck in a closet somewhere.
It's got a 25 year shelf life on it.
Buy it once and forget about it and know that you're okay if something happens.
Back to the garden.
You can never buy a lifetime of survival food.
It's never going to happen.
You'll never be able to store it.
You'll never be able to keep it.
It's just too much.
So that's where the seeds in the garden are really important.
Again, this is one of those things we can laugh about it.
Survivalists, preppers, idiots, ha-ha.
Well, if something happens, can you take care of your family?
Can you grow a garden?
Again, it's one of those things that God's done most of the work, but it still takes a little bit of practice to figure it out.
And it doesn't take a lot of time.
How many hours are wasted every afternoon or every evening in front of a TV watching garbage?
Absolute garbage.
Turn the TV off and go learn a trade.
Go learn a skill.
It may save your life.
Wise words.
Wise words.
You're going to teach a man to fish for a lifetime and he will be able to feed his family forever.
Give a man a fish, whether it be for government handout or gratitude and generosity, he'll eat for just a day.
You know, I think that it is important to remember it's not just an American thing to speak your mind.
It's also Part of being an American.
To be prepared for the troubles this world has.
Thank you so much for joining us, Clayton.
It's been a blessing.
And of course, go to HeavensHarvest.com.

He's got some great advice from people.
You know, Matt, we're all getting ready for Thanksgiving, all right?
That's right.
And do you have somewhere you're going to be?
I think I'm going to be here editing the pilot.
No, but I'm going to take a break.
I'm going to be with my family.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
I was about to invite you over to the Big Zoll Thanksgiving meal.
You know, it's going to be good.
So, yeah, I got the in-laws in, so she's, you know, got Mexican Thanksgiving coming real nice.
Bury you a turkey?
Birria turkey might be, if that's something that...
Dude, I might be seven right there.
That might be the new thing.
But yeah, my son's birthday is on the 26th, so he gets to share birthday Thanksgiving.
And I love Thanksgiving because I like to eat too much for that day.
But I've got to stop, man.
It's getting out of hand.
You and me both, brother.
We have to get back to playing pickleball.
That's right.
We've been in a busy season.
A busy season.
That's good, though.
But...
The thing is, we're never going to be too busy for the Lord and what He's doing.
