Well, we just found out that the manifesto of Audrey Hale, remember that 28-year-old transgender extremist that shot up a Christian Nashville school back in March?
And we didn't have the manifesto and the FBI and the news weren't releasing it.
Well, it's finally been leaked.
And it's been leaked actually by Steven Crowder.
And now we know why they were suppressing it so much and didn't want us to know about it.
Because it has a whole bunch of anti-white, anti-Christian rhetoric in it.
I'm just going to read a little bit of it right now.
Kill those kids, he says.
Those crackers.
Sorry, he, she, it, whatever this person is.
Kill those crackers going to fancy private schools with those fancy khakis and sports backpacks with their daddy's Mustangs and convertibles.
F you little shits.

So this is just a little bit of his manifesto.
And our next guest believes that it's no surprise why these things are happening, especially people who are hateful and shooting up Christians, why there's so much anti-white hate going on right now, and why there are so many children that are growing up very disturbed and confused because they're getting sucked into the LGBTQIA agenda.
Our next guest is a whistleblower from Providence, from the Providence School District in Rhode Island.
And she's been a whistleblower against all of this anti-white, anti-Christian, and LGBTQ agenda that we're being seen in our schools grooming children at younger and younger ages.
Ramona Bessinger is joining us today, and she's a very bold and brave mother.
And she's joining us with a lot of details and experiences of her own.
And what she's been fighting over in here in America, because Lord knows we need to fight.

Ramona, how are you?
Thank you so much for having me on your show, and I'm doing very well, thank you.
Great.
You know, things that we're seeing in the media.
Yeah, it's a tragedy.
It's very sad.
Why don't you tell us a little bit about your background and how you came to become a brave whistleblower?
Well, I have an extensive background in education.
I've been teaching for over 20 years, and part of my training as a teacher and experience as a teacher has been to work on curriculum.
So I really understand how curriculums, various curriculum platforms are rolled out in the schools.
And what they should look like and how they should be aligned to measurable goals and standards.
And a couple of years ago, I noticed that 2021 school year that all the curriculum in my classroom had been removed and thrown into dumpsters.
That included textbooks.
And all sorts of changes were made that were alarming to me as a teacher, but also as a human being.
As a mother, I was very, very concerned because even though my kids go to another district, I did notice that this was across the state.
This mandated new curriculum came into the district, which was highly...
At the time, I thought, what is this?
It seemed sort of bizarre, but it was...
All content like cartoonish style books that reflected this sort of oppressed versus oppressor narrative.
And in fact, white people or, you know, seem to be the target and I myself found, you know, that Kids were believing that America is inherently bad and racist.
So I immediately started to try and sound the alarm with the Board of Education, but also the Senate Oversight Committee in Education.
And from that point on, I was targeted and bullied and eventually removed from my position.
So you were fired as a teacher?
I am actually not fired yet.
Okay.
I don't really even know if I'm going to get fired, but I am on leave from the district, from my position.
So without any clear understanding as to what I've done wrong, other than really try to do the right thing for students, all students.
Yeah.
Well, thank you for your work on this, because I know it's a really tough issue to be bold and stand up against.
And their agenda is very, very powerful.
The anti-white agenda, critical race theory, and then the whole LGBTQ agenda in mafia, really.
You're fighting against very, very powerful beasts and machines that are well-run and organized.
And well-funded.
Exactly, well-funded.
So did you start noticing, because it seems to me like kids' reading level across the board in America is lower than average now than it's ever been, and they're not really going to school to learn math and reading and language.
They're going to school to be indoctrinated, to hate white people, to hate men, and to want to be gay, basically, to want to join the LGBTQ community.
Is that what you found over the last few years?
Yes, it's sort of the abridged version that kids are being groomed to believe political ideologies.
And in fact, there's less of an emphasis on real standards, like how to write a sentence or how to read a book or, you know, anything that is a measurable academic standard is seen as even racist.
So, yeah, there was a push away, a move, a blatant, abrupt push away from real standards.
You know, content that was going to teach kids how to read and write, and moving kids to become activists and also embrace various gender ideologies that, you know, basically have no place in the schools.
You know, teaching kids that they can be Whatever sex they want and that maybe their birth, their actual sex, their biological sex is not relevant.
And so, you know, seeing that was disturbing on many levels.
And I felt that it was very important for me to share the lesson so that people could see firsthand what their kids are being exposed to.
Right.
I mean, just looking at your Twitter feed a little bit, I've seen some of the things that you've posted.
You post real pictures of actual workbooks and classroom material and homework assignments.
And some of them are just so outrageous.
I mean, like having young girls read aloud role-playing situations where they're in sexual situations basically to the teacher and then being graded on that.
I mean, what are some of the more graphic or just bizarre or overtly sexual things that you've found that are inappropriate, you know, over the last couple years that are being taught in schools?
There's so much, but I will, you know, to speak to that specific lesson, that lesson came from my son's school.
I had to, it took me a very long time to get that material, because I don't teach health, I'm an English teacher, and it took me a very long time to get the curriculum director at my son's school here in Rhode Island to give me some of the content, and immediately I could see You know, that the content was bizarre.
It was certainly not aligned to any evidence-based science health class that I was familiar with.
And so I started to look through the materials and that was one There are many, many, many more in this particular curriculum platform that I believe is throughout the United States currently.
And you're right.
Some of the lessons have kids act out various role-playing situations where they're, you know, things that probably we can't even talk about here on this, you know, on this show that are just not appropriate for any student to act out You know, having multiple partners or wanting to have multiple partners or even, you know, going on these bizarre condom hunts that I think I posted about that.
Yeah, a condom hunt, like a scavenger hunt.
Sorry, yeah.
Yeah, like a scavenger hunt, but they called it a condom hunt.
I'm looking at this worksheet right now.
Worksheet, homework assignment, whatever it is.
That was one of the more, you know, egregious ones that stood out.
And And then making kids talk about it in the classroom with a teacher who they may or may not feel comfortable talking about any of this stuff anyway.
We all know and remember that health class was embarrassing when it was science-based, never mind these bizarre activities.
Yeah, exactly.
And they disguise it as something that's, oh, we're just trying to teach safe sex, or we're just trying to teach choice or consent or something.
So if a parent finds out, they're trying to market it as something else.
But really, it's putting ideas and concepts that are very adult and are very...
Bizarre and vulgar in little children's heads that should never have been there in the first place and have them thinking that.
And then all of a sudden, you're opening Pandora's box, all these different rabbit holes that they're going to go down because it's teaching kids to be curious and sexually curious and experimental.
Right.
That is 100% correct.
And kids are very impressionable, especially at the middle school level.
The main objective for a middle school student is to belong to their peer group.
So if their peer group is talking about these very You know, inappropriate matters related to sex.
Then, of course, a lot of kids are going to want to just participate just to get along.
Or, you know, the whole gender discussion.
Kids get wrapped up in that.
Like, maybe they're not a boy.
Maybe they're not a girl.
Next thing you know, they're talking to a therapist in school who is, you know, sort of separating them from their parents and convincing them that perhaps they are another sex and they should try, you know, Experimenting with that.
And so it's a real sort of dark place that we are in, in K-12 education.
And if we don't get a handle on this, we're going to see a drastic rise in suicide.
We're already seeing a rise in suicide.
Well, no wonder this content is frightening, confusing for kids.
And if we don't get a handle on it, if somebody doesn't intervene from our government to make this stop or hold the U.S. Department of Education accountable for this content, We are going to lose a generation of kids.
And in fact, we're actually seeing the byproduct of this content in a different way with the protests that we're seeing at the college level, the anti-Israel protests.
They're terrible, the violence that is ensuing in our nation.
Yeah, right.
They're turning children into activists, radical activists for the radical left agenda, of course, not American patriot activists.
Oh no, no.
In fact, I was called, you know, America, oddly, you know, the kids.
And that was not meant in a positive way.
It was meant to sort of isolate me and separate me, you know, because of the color of my skin.
And in fact, we were even separated as teachers into affinity groups, you know, or I mean, you really can't make this up.
This is really right out of the Cultural Revolution and other, you know, when you consider how genocide has been effective, if you want to call it that, in other countries and other times in history, the steps that are taking place in this nation currently reflect those genocidal historical atrocities.
And I'm very frightened as a mother, but also as an American, as a free human being, we all need to do more or get this out there and take K-12 education very, very seriously.
Right.
So a lot of people might think that the sentiment from a lot of people that I hear is, oh, you know, this anti-white, hate-white, victim-oppressor curriculum, the CRT, you know, critical race theory.
And all the LGBT, highly sexual, highly gay, inappropriate reading material and homework assignments and stuff is only being pushed in very liberal cities, liberal areas, in only public schools, not private schools.
It's not happening in rural areas.
That's not happening in conservative cities.
It's not happening in private or Catholic schools.
But I have seen this content, and correct me if I'm wrong, but all across America.
I mean, it's really being pushed.
And I don't believe Catholic or Christian schools anymore are really safe from this material.
What are your thoughts on that?
You're 100% correct.
Again, all of this stems from the U.S. Department of Education and how it...
So if you imagine one giant box of books and curriculum, I mean, that's sort of a visualization being sent out to every single district in America, every single state.
And basically...
You know, the commissioners of education, the superintendents are told, comply or we cut your funding off.
All of the gender content is tied to funding.
The DEI initiatives are all tied to money and funding.
And you have these cowardly superintendents and cowardly administrators that are willing to jeopardize the safety of young girls and boys.
For the money.
That's where it all comes from.
The federal government down to the U.S. Department of Education and then into the states, into the subsequent boards of education.
So, yeah, and no one's really free from it.
I think that, you know, why isn't this more a uniting issue among all parents?
I mean, if parents really knew about the extent of what's really being taught to your innocent son or daughter at school while you're away for eight to ten hours a day, if they knew that, I would believe that every parent should be.
We're protesting by the millions every day until we get their attention and this is stopped in the streets of America.
And I am just shocked that not enough mothers or fathers seem to care about this or maybe even seem to know about this because I feel like if they did, they would rip their child out of public school immediately.
Homeschool them and protest in the streets by the millions.
So why are you finding that a lot of parents don't care or they don't know or what's going on?
Why the lack of protest and anger around this issue?
Fear.
I think it's deliberate to make people feel that they're, and by the way, parents who do speak out, teachers that do speak out, are targeted.
I know that firsthand as a parent and also as an educator.
Doesn't matter how dedicated you might be as a parent or a community member, doesn't matter how liberal you are, everyone is a target.
Liberal, conservative, you know, whatever your faith is, you're a target if you go against this orthodoxy.
And I think it's fear that is keeping parents silent.
And also they lie.
Yeah, they lie.
I mean, look...
These days, I just feel like it's insane to have your child in a regular school because you're no longer instilling your values on them.
You're just leaving it up to these mostly weird, young, LGBTQ teachers who are anti-white and who are radical leftists themselves.
And they're teaching your child their values all day, every day.
It just feels like schools have become indoctrination machines.
And if you want your child to be raised correctly, You should homeschool them, don't you think?
I mean, I know a lot of people can't do that or they can't because of their work commitments or anything, but it just feels like we need to come up with a better solution or come together and make co-ops for private schooling or something because this just like, you know, I'm very scared for this generation of children growing up.
Yeah, and you're right to be scared.
I'm also scared.
And I think they're banking on that to create this fear, this sense of fear.
And with regards to homeschooling, many people can't do that.
And by the way, I don't think we should have to.
It's our right as Americans to have free access to public education.
And we should have access to quality education and one that actually teaches our children academic skills.
And so I really feel I'm of that mindset to push back and to fight because if we don't push back and we don't fight, if you run and take your kids out and homeschool, which I love the idea of homeschooling, but not everybody can.
If we do that, if everybody removes their children to homeschool, then, you know, they win.
They don't care how many people leave the district.
They don't care how many people are take, how many kids are taken out because eventually they'll come for homeschoolers.
They're going to come for all of us.
Yeah, you're right.
And have you noticed a shift?
Because I've seen a lot of, I do, I follow a lot of parenting groups on Reddit and Facebook and everything.
And I've seen a shift also from the, you know, most schools now have tablets that They give tablets and laptops, and most of the work is done on tablets and laptops, even for kindergartners, which just blows my mind.
But they've seen a shift in younger and younger-aged children talking about porn at school or accessing porn.
Or, you know, coming to school with blue and purple hair and saying that they're trans and so all their little friends say that they're trans too because it's cool too.
So have you seen like just a big, like a noticeable shift in the attitudes of young children in the last few years?
Yes, again, because they want to belong.
They want to feel like they belong to the greater whole.
And the people who invented this curriculum platform, what I believe is a Marxist platform, they knew what they were doing.
This comes from someplace else, and they knew how to capture people and how to intimidate them, and especially the little children who really want to belong.
So they're going to try on different hats.
They're going to try on different identities.
And that's where the problem lies, because that's where You know, a child might be convinced to transition from one sex to another and to mutilate his or her body.
This is something that is going to go down in history as just evil, evil, evil.
To do this to little children, shame on these people who are complicit in what I feel is one of the greatest crimes being committed currently.
It is.
And they have, of course, the teachers are on board with it.
The administrators are on board.
Let's keep your new identity a secret from your parents until we have to.
Let's help facilitate the gender transition for you at school.
You know, they play the role of like the cool aunt who will let them do everything.
That their parents won't.
And then they, of course, then alienate the children from their parents more and more and their parents' influence.
So now they just have the influence of the teachers and everybody else at school and even the therapists who are helping facilitate these gender transitions and their journeys until it's really too late for parents to step in at that point, you know, when they find out.
Project to think about, like, I just listened to a detransitioner talk about her experience, and it was heartbreaking to see what some children have been convinced to do, and then all of a sudden, you know, you wake up or you develop mentally and you sort of pass through that sort of adolescent phase, and you wake up one day and go, my goodness, I have taken, you know, I've chopped my body parts off, or I've altered myself permanently, so I'll never be able to have children.
I mean, This is Frankenstiny and what is happening is so tragic.
And you're right, parental alienation is one of the most significant tools that these individuals have to advance this gender cult content.
You alienate the parents and you captivate, you have a captive, you know, little activist or you have somebody who you can funnel into, secretly funnel into a gender web.
Yeah, it really is a web.

Well, are you sick and tired of the LGBTQIA agenda deepening its roots all over America?
LGBTQ has become a rabid mafia, strong-arming people, stealing innocent souls, and, of course, force-feeding their values and their beliefs down everybody's throats.
And I am tired of it.
We've seen from our previous guests what they have been doing in our schools and our curriculum.
They are literally grooming, sexually grooming children through the reading books, through classroom role play, Through Planned Parenthood and Glenn and Gelson and all these other covert methods to get children to be LGBTQ and more.
Did you know that one out of every five Gen Zers identify as LGBTQ? IA, L-M-N-O-P. And especially women, young women have had a huge spike in identifying as bisexual or lesbian.
But of course they would.
They're pushing this in schools.
They're pushing this in kindergartens and drag queen story hour.
This is happening at a much faster rate.
I mean, it used to be that gays just wanted equal rights.
Then gays wanted marriage.
And now they want everybody to be gay or trans or pedophiles and they're grooming children at younger and younger ages.
Well, what about Trump's stance on it?
Yes, what about President Trump's stance on the LGBTQ agenda and community?
And does he actually in fact have an unholy and dangerous alliance?
With the LGBTQ community that none of us really know about.
Our next guest thinks so.
He's been asking these questions and pushing Trump to give us answers.
And I don't know about you, but I'm really tired of Trump evading these answers and not standing up for Christian values.
Because we know in our hearts as Christians and conservatives and patriots that marriage should really be between a man and a woman.
So Christian patriots in America who are awake are now asking the question, does our former President Trump truly believe that pandering to the LGBTQ agenda is actually what it takes to make America great again?
Is it too much for us to ask President Trump to adhere to the beliefs and the teachings of God's word?
And if he refuses to, if he refuses to shed his alliance with the LGBTQ agenda, Is that something that we should take note of?
Is he then any different from the left who openly glorify and pander to and celebrate sin and the LGBTQ agenda?
Well, our next guest, Timothy Mashler, believes that we absolutely should be holding Trump accountable and asking Trump these tough questions.
And he has been doing just that.
He's been trying to hold Trump's feet to the fire.
He has a new book out called Trump and Sodom available on Amazon.
He's an American Christian patriot, and he's been really trying hard to stop the LGBT agenda in America.
So, Timothy Mashler, welcome to Shots Fired.
How are you, Tim?
Very well, thanks.
Thanks for having me.
Awesome.
Well, I'm going to let you do the majority of talking because I'm a little bit sick.
So tell us, what made you decide to write this book?
What made you decide to kind of go down this rabbit hole with Trump?
Well, actually, it started earlier this year, early 2023.
We were contacted by a friend of ours, my wife and I. By the way, my wife, Melissa Reardon, is the author of Trump and Sodom.
Okay, great.
He said, were you aware that Trump was the main attraction at an LGBT gala at Mar-a-Lago?
And we said, no, we didn't hear that.
So we checked it out, and in fact, it was true.
And we found out also he was a main attraction at a second Mar-a-Lago gala in 2021.
And at that gala, he actually gave Rick Grinnell, an openly homosexual member of his cabinet, A game-changer award, and this quote there was, there has been no better spokesman for the people not only in this room, but for the people of this country.
And so we were very concerned about this.
Yeah.
No better spokesman than a gay person.
Okay.
Exactly.
And this has been no.
So, I mean, we were talking Abe Lincoln, Martin Luther King, John Kennedy.
I mean, they were the spokesmen.
He's saying there was no better spokesman than that.
So anyway, we were very concerned about this.
So I said to, after talking to some people, the Christian patriots that were totally in the dark about this, I went back to our GOP leader, our prominent GOP leader, who originally made me aware of this, and said, if I gather letters from supporters, MAGA people, Trump supporters, Voicing their concerns about this, would you meet with the president?
He said, absolutely.
So I went out and got the letters.
When we tried to get the meeting, though, we were stonewalled by the president's gatekeepers.
So that's when my wife, Melissa, wrote Trump and Sodom, Letting the Cat Out of the Bag.
So I called.
Actually, I got a hold of one of the gatekeepers, and I said, look, we don't want to publish this book.
All we want to do is have a meeting with President Trump so we can voice our concerns.
Anyway, it didn't go anywhere, so we published the book.
But then things were looking up because President Trump or his staff got a hold of our GOP leader and said, let's talk about this.
We thought, oh, great.
So they had the conversation and President Trump said, well, what do you want me to do?
And we thought, wow, we're really rolling here.
And so you actually met with Trump?
No, it was a phone meeting between GOP leader, prominent man, and President Trump, who he knows.
Yeah, that's great progress.
Yeah, it was, we thought.
Anyway, so he said, what do you want me to do?
And our guy said, well, first of all, reconsider your alliance with LGBT groups, number one.
And number two, don't give any special consideration to special interest groups.
Because when you do that, it takes rights away from all the rest of us.
So Trump said, I can do that.
And he said, not only that, he said, I will send you a policy document embodying my stance.
So we said, great, we're really making good progress here.
Well, the policy document never came through.
And so my friend, the GOP leader, contacted somebody inside the campaign that he knows.
And said, what's going on here?
We were supposed to get a policy document, so I'll find out.
Anyway, the bottom line to this whole thing was Trump said, I'm not going to listen anymore on this topic.
End of subject.
Wow.
So that's where, so it's been a real roller coaster that we've been on.
Wow.
So that's kind of the background of it.
First of all, you know, good on you for being tenacious and following up and pursuing this because I'm sure it took a lot of work and persistence to even get to that point to be able to have Trump's ear.
And then to go from that to him making a promise and then just totally flip-flopping on that, it's really disappointing.
And did you have a background in politics before this caught your interest?
No.
Okay.
Interesting.
Not at all.
Not at all.
You know, a local GOP on election integrity, but my background is in show business as a TV writer, so no.
But I have been a Trump supporter since he came down the escalator.
That's why I was so shocked about this.
And you have to understand, Deanna, this is a line many of his supporters won't cross, just like abortion.
You know, people won't vote for a candidate that supports abortion.
It's the same thing with this.
Now, some people will anyway, especially the horrible condition our country's in.
And President Trump has a lot of great policies and all of that.
But he's not following the Word of God and Jesus' testimony.
And Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
And so when people say, oh, well, this is Old Testament stuff, it doesn't mean anything.
No, it's Old Testament and it's New Testament.
And it's true today as it was back then.
So that's why we're really concerned.
And I'll tell you, all of the letters that were written, and they're all in this book, in Trump and Sodom, they start out by saying, President Trump, thank you so much for everything you've done for this nation.
We love you, but we're very concerned about this alliance.
We don't want homosexuality normalized in this country and around the world.
We don't want our children reeducated.
For example, one of the letters was from a friend of ours, actually, whose wife is a psychologist, and apparently has done conversion therapy, which is if you're homosexual, you don't want to be that way anymore, you want to be under God's law.
You come to them and you go through a process.
Well, the Logcat and Republicans, the group that President Trump is aligned with, is trying to criminalize that for under 18.
This is what these groups do.
They push the envelope.
They say, we want to celebrate us and who we are.
But really, that's kind of code for pushing the envelope.
And that's what this group has done.
And so to have President Trump, who is a prominent leader, he's the leader of the Republican Party for certain, and many people want him to be president again, for him to be giving accolades to this group, Is abhorrent.
It's abhorrent to God.
It's abhorrent to Jesus Christ.
It's abhorrent to all the people that follow Jesus Christ and have been supporting President Trump.
They want him to turn on this.
We want him to turn, you know, not for, well, for the country, for the world, for his family, for himself.
All of those things.
And so that's why we continued, and I'm continuing to press forward.
We're not giving up at all on this.
We're going to Keep going and hopefully with interviews like this one and others that we'll get through and there'll be an awakening up there at the top.

Yeah, I mean, that's what frustrates me so much, being a loyal Trump supporter from the moment that he started his campaign.
Like you said, I've been fighting for him.
I was at all the Stop the Steal rallies across the nation.
I was there at the Capitol.
You know, yeah, bless you.
I was there.
Yeah, we were there and we fought and we've lost friends over it, families.
We've been told we're crazy, racist over it.
And so I fight so hard for him, but then I can't also at the same time make excuses and justify these types of behaviors of him, these types of alliances, like, for instance, him supporting the vaccine, just his diehard support of the vaccine, no matter what, and his alliances with LGBTQ. Those are things that as Christians and conservatives and patriots, we should have, like, that should be red lines.
Those should be red lines in the sand.
And we should be willing, like you are, to call him out on it and say, look, guys, this is not in alliance with our values that we want in America.
And we know that.
So we got to hold him accountable, hold his feet to the fire so he gets it for more people.
Instead, no matter what, most Trump supporters just make excuse after excuse for him.
Rationalize his behavior.
He's always playing 5D chess or this or that.
He's never going to get it then.
He's never going to make changes that reflect our hearts and our values if we make excuses for him no matter what and support him no matter what.
And these are the things like the vaccine and his alliance with LGBT community.
These are very important things that we need to be calling him out on.
Exactly.
Well, you know, one of the things that Melissa, my wife, did in the book was she makes a point of Spelling out LGBT. Okay.
And the reason for that is when you, it's kind of like calling a homosexual gay.
Everybody calls it the gay community.
Well, gay is a fun word.
What it does is it covers up the sin.
And so, you know, it's lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, trans, queer.
You know, if you spell those out, when I talk to people, it's like, oh, it hits them.
You know, it hits them.
This is sin.
This is something that needs to be really looked at.
And that's what we want President Trump to look at.
I mean, look at the Word of God.
Look at the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Listen to the voices of the people that wrote these letters in the book, because these are the real spokesmen, not Rick Grinnell.
You know, the real spokesmen for this and these countries are the heroes of the past, like I mentioned, Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, and People in this book.
These are the people that we want to be our spokespeople.
So that's the hope that we were able to get through to him on this.
Yeah.
And it's frustrating because it feels like in his first presidency, or most of it, he was really, he had a grasp on what his base wanted and our grievances, and he was really tuned in to us.
Starting through COVID and beyond, I feel like he almost, he's just on his one path.
He thinks he knows what's right, and he doesn't really, he's not really listening to the people that fight for him and support him and got him elected in the first place.
He's not really listening to what we're saying anymore.
He might just think this is just a silly book.
It's got a couple letters in it from a few people in America, but it's really important that he listen and that we know that he's listening to us before we You know, try to elect him again before we throw all our support in him again, right?
That's right.
Yeah.
Well, and when I went out and got the letters, the big selling point, of course, was that at that point, we believed that we would be able to get a meeting with him.
So all the letters went in a beautiful leather folder.
We had them all, you know, to present to the president.
You know, it was going to be really cool.
We were excited, but we were blown away by the gatekeepers.
I wasn't even really surprised about that.
I wasn't even sure that he was getting the message.
But then after the phone call, and he said, I'll send you the policy document.
And boy, it looked like it was going to embody, as you say, our values.
Didn't get it.
And something happened.
We don't know what happened.
Can't guess.
We'll see.
But our goal now is just to continue to press forward on this.
Right.
What do you think of Trump's stance on LGBTQ issues and Governor DeSantis' stance on LGBTQ issues?
You know, I'm not sure of the depth of Ron DeSantis.
I know he's supported some LGBT rallies and so forth in the past, but I don't know deeply what's going on there.
Unfortunately, in the Republican Party, it's very deep.
The RNC, Ronna McDaniel, created a RNC Pride Coalition in conjunction with the Log Cabin Republicans.
And, you know, she got an award at one of the galas as well.
So this is very deep in the Republican Party.
So where all the candidates, including Ron DeSantis, stand, I really don't know.
He hasn't Use this as a foil against President Trump, you know, as far as I know.
Yeah, he should.
I mean, he's taken a harder stance on it.
He's really fought to get the grooming type of curriculum out of the schools, and I admire that about him.
I think that's really important to have these actionable items, not just say, I have conservative values, but then show it through your actions and policies, which he has.
He's really pushed hard to get that kind of grooming LGBTQ curriculum out of schools, Out of clubs, you know, in associations for children, giving parents choice, you know, the big fight that he's had with Disney and their grooming stuff.
So I do think that he's had a lot more actionable stances and wins against this agenda.
And it's hard to do that nowadays.
So I do applaud him for that.
And I think Trump needs to make a harder stand against that, too, because we had a guest on before you that, you know, was sharing the curriculum that they have in schools.
And it really is.
It's so beyond just LGBTQ and gay rights and stuff, and it really is pedophilia and porn and seducing and grooming young children to disown their God-given gender and bodies and want to experiment with different genders, want to experiment with different sexualities, and experiment with sex at such a young age, an age that no children should be even thinking about those concepts.
They're very adult concepts.
So that's the slippery slope, and that's why we as conservatives need to be so against this.
It's not like we're trying to take rights away from gays.
It's like, look at the whole Pandora's box that it's opened by celebrating and glorifying these issues.
That's right.
Well, and if President Trump returns to office, or whoever is in that office, of course they have to uphold the law, and they have to defend the rights of all groups.
That isn't the point.
But as a Christian, we look at a homosexual person and we say, this is wrong, but you're loved.
You know, so we don't cave to the culture.
And I think that's at least it appears that way.
That's President Trump has caved to that very loud group.
And, you know, that's going to be a problem with his base because we're talking about All the letters that I mentioned and other people we've talked to, this is his base.
These are the people that love him.
So, anyway, we're not about taking President Trump down at all.
We're trying to awaken him.
Just, for example, acknowledge that marriage is between a man and a woman.
That would be a tremendous step.
That would be a great win, yeah.
Publicly acknowledge that.
In the rally, can you imagine at a rally if he said that?
One of these rallies, the cheer would go up like no tomorrow, but he doesn't do that.
It's very deep.
It could be his family.
I know Melania is very pro-LGBT and his sons and so forth.
So there's a lot going on here that we don't know.
But really, again, time to look at God's Word and what it says.
And also, remember what happened to Sodom.
Sodom was destroyed.
And Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed.
Not only Sodom and Gomorrah, but all the cities around it were.
So this is something, this is an abomination before God.
And as I said before, Jesus Christ is the same today as he was yesterday.
So, you know, we're praying for President Trump.
Many people are praying for him to awaken to this.
What do you think about the fact that in the Trump era, there have been a lot more openly gay people that have kind of joined the Republican Party and become Trump supporters?
For instance, I mean, the founder, the leader, the face of the walkaway movement is gay, right?
And there's a lot of openly gay conservative political commentators now and influencers and everything that are now in the Trump movement.
They said that They've brought me an awakening of conservative values, but yet they're still gay.
So do we want that big tent and say, we welcome you with open arms, or do we hold that hard line and say, yes, it's better to have more people in the Republican Party, even if they're gay, or do we really continue with this hard line?
I think that's That's probably been part of Trump's dilemma, right?
Of like, I don't want to kick them out and alienate them if they finally woke up to conservative values.
But at the same time, this is something to address, too, right?
Yeah, and it's a difficult question.
I mean, and that's what, you know, apparently he's decided.
You know, he's decided to throw in with that group.
But, you know, as far as the Big Ten, this might sound kind of funny, and I don't think it's occurred to me before.
But, you know, I really want the Lord Jesus and God in my tent.
Yeah.
And, you know, if he's in my tent, everything will work out just fine.
You know, I know that.
But one of the chapters of the book, for example, is called The Art of the Deal.
You know, that's President Trump's book.
I mean, sorry, not his book.
Yeah, his book, but also his way of being.
You know, the man is a tremendously talented businessman, always has been.
But if you're looking at You know, you make a business plan for making America great again.
You've got all these assets.
You've got the assets of God's perfect word, all of his boundaries.
And then on the other side, you have all the rainbow flags, gay this, gay that, pride coalitions and all that.
When you weigh those two things, which are you going to go with?
Going with the gay agenda, the homosexual agenda, It is not what's going to make America great again, because you zoom out and you look at it from God's perspective.
That's kind of where we always go back to.
Yeah, you're right, because it's like the art of the deal, but are you making a deal with the devil or are you making a deal with Jesus?
Exactly.
Making the deal with Jesus and our Lord is going to bless and restore America.
Making a deal with the devil may seem like you're getting more people in or making an immediate change for the short term, but it's very short-sighted.
I know when I was running for Congress against Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco, that was something that I always faced was because obviously it's very gay, the very gay community in San Francisco.
And I worked, you know, I had to have events sometimes at the Log Cabin Republicans.
And they would press me a lot, these gay Republicans, and say, so what's your stance on gay marriage?
And in order for us to support you, you have to be pro-gay marriage.
And I would have to say politely, you know, I really believe that marriage is between a man and a woman.
I respect you.
Yeah, I mean, it was hard.
I mean, I lost a lot of support.
The other gay Republican that was running against me was all about the gay Republicans.
And, you know, he wouldn't say that publicly, that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
He would just say kind of whatever they wanted to hear.
And, you know, to me, that's being a sellout.
That's not really truly upholding Christian and conservative values.
True.
And one of the things we're hoping to awaken President Trump to is Because he's come out against this transgender mutilation and all that stuff.
He's very against that, and he said that.
But what he doesn't acknowledge is that homosexuality is at the root of all of that, is at the root of all those things.
And so until he really recognizes that, I can understand he'll play the game as best he can politically.
But as one of the letters said, one of the people in the book, I said, look, I don't want my 10 grandchildren to be re-educated in this way.
And, you know, President Trump, you don't need this group to be elected.
You'll be elected, you know, if you just stand strong.
So, I mean, people, the folks, the MAGA folks know.
They know in their hearts.
Exactly.
Well, I really admire your mission here.
I mean, it's a tough one, and I think this is super, this is like a hill to die on, right?
I mean, this is something that actually is really, really essential that we support you in and that we make progress on.
