And so it's going to be wonderful.
We're going to start with Matthew 4, and I'm going to see what verse I'll tell you in just a second.
It was when Jesus was on the mountain and Satan tempted him.
So we'll start with verse 8.
And the devil took him up on an exceedingly high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
And he said to him, all these things I will give to you if you fall down and worship me.
So that means Satan had the ability to give Jesus all the kingdoms.
That's what it says.
And Jesus responded and said, Away with you, Satan, for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.
And the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.
So, welcome to Jesus' Guns and Babies, my handsome, wonderful husband, Ryan Taylor.
Well, it's a pleasure being here.
Thank you for having me on the show.
Most of the time on the other side of the camera.
Didn't record, but...
Today you're with us.
So I've been begging Ryan to come on for a long time.
And he just won't do it.
In fact, today we spent a lot of time arguing with me about coming.
So it's going to be awesome.
I want him to start out by talking through his experience with the Lord.
Because that's really what I want to talk about today.
He knows the Bible better than anybody I know.
He's the smartest person I know.
And he would probably argue and say no because he's very humble.
But I want him to talk about his relationship with Jesus and how he...
Understands the world we're in today in politics because I've thrown him into politics running for office twice and I think it just all connects beautifully and so we'll start wherever you want to start Ron.
All right well um when I was little I grew up in Cumming, Georgia and I was there until fifth grade and I went to Cumming New Life Church and At the church at the time it was it just had so much life there and there's all the time guest speakers coming in and just a lot of worship and just people with pure hearts worshiping the Lord and wanting more of God and
I remember I don't know who it was but there was an evangelist evangelist that came through with a saxophone and he would pray over Everybody to receive the Holy Spirit.
And I remember as kids, he would even pray for the little children, and we were at the front of the church, and he was praying for us.
And I knew then that God was so real because I had experienced just the presence of love that was so strong that I It's like once you experience something that's beyond what you can think of mentally, nobody can talk you out of it.
And I knew God was real, and I knew He loved me.
And when I was younger, I would have nightmares.
And I remember laying in my bed by myself, and I would have these dreams of ghosts floating around in my room, and I would wake up just stiff as a board, not knowing what to do.
And so I would just...
I'd cry out to Jesus, and I'd say, Jesus, ask that you save me, ask that you protect me, because I didn't know, with spiritual stuff like that, what else to do, and I was taught at the church, you know, to always call, you can always call on the name of Jesus, and when I did, he just brought this presence of safety, and I knew that he was with me from there on out, and so I made him Lord of my life at a young age.
So it's interesting because we were even talking after we had church today and our pastor's awesome and he did a great job and gave a great salvation message.
But I was telling Ryan when we left, I said, you know, heaven's great, but I want relationship with Jesus now.
I want to be close to him now.
I want Holy Spirit now.
I want to feel him.
I want to pray for people and then get healed.
And I want to hear his voice and know his plan for our life.
And I don't want to wait till I get to heaven for that.
We were created for relationship.
We were created to have relationship with Jesus now.
and so I was telling Ron that and I said you know people that only focus on heaven they miss out on so much of now and so when you're talking about that I was thinking how you from a very young child you seek after that you seek after relationship with Jesus and I got saved at eight and I did devotion and I grew up in a Baptist church and all of the things but we didn't really talk about Holy Spirit
you grew up in a spirit-filled church and were taught to feel the Holy Spirit and be prophesied over and hear from the Lord and all the things I wasn't until I was 28 years old when I I didn't understand those things.
But I think that that's why maybe you have a deeper understanding of the Word than even I do because you study the Word so much.
So just talk about one thing.
There's so many supernatural things you've told me over the years, but I was thinking about the time you prayed to see your angel.
So I want you to talk about that at some point.
But maybe about studying the Word.
I don't know.
A couple things I want to share is that, you know, you see people, and I've tried street witnessing before, and see people trying to talk people into Jesus.
And a lot of times, without the Holy Spirit pulling somebody's heart, you can't talk somebody into mentally believing in something that you can't experience in this physical world and so you need to have the Holy Spirit to tug on their heart even there for example there'll be a Christian that'll come to our school and they'll talk about drugs and everything how to overcome this
and it's all like just based on self-control but without without Jesus without the grace of God You cannot overcome all these things.
You can go so far with self-control, but just like in the Old Testament, they would do the best they could.
They would sacrifice, you know, blood sacrifice for the atonement of sin, but they would always fall short of the law.
And so God knew eventually he was going to have to have his saving grace, the blood of Jesus, to atone all sin once and for all.
And without that, without Jesus, without the Holy Spirit being a temple of the Holy Spirit, you cannot overcome.
And so, without the one who overcame.
And so, it's totally, totally different having a mental relationship where, like a historical figure, and yes, these lessons do work.
Like, to bless those who curse you, to pay it for that kind of deal, you know, the golden rule, all these things work, but, you know, without God's love in your life, without the Holy Spirit, it's just like sounding brass, and it's for nothing.
Oh, you mean like when you tell me to not have revenge and When I get really mad and I want to figure out how to fix something, and you say, Candy, you should just bless them.
Just say it with me.
Now, I'm mad as fire.
I don't understand.
I'm mad.
And I've been really wronged.
And I'm mad.
And I'm praying for God to have vengeance.
Like, I'm not going to have it, but I'm praying for God to have it.
And Ryan's saying, we should pray that they're blessed.
Like, let's do that.
Let's just pray that they're blessed.
And he's pulling out the Bible and saying, this is where it says it, Candy.
Like, this is what it says.
And I want to knock him out.
Is that why you brought that up?
Yeah it's hard.
Yeah that happens a lot.
Yeah that kind of goes along with when Jesus says to pick up the cross and follow me.
It is not easy at all to pick up the cross to love somebody who doesn't love you back or if somebody steals from you to take off your shirt and give them your shirt as well.
That is so hard to do and you can't do it without the grace of God but if you have The Holy Spirit inside of you, which is God's presence where He says, I'm with you, I will not forsake you.
Knowing that He's with you, having that to lean on, that empowers you so that you can do it.
And so it makes the whole gospel come alive.
So you're not just...
I always...
Remember growing up and people think it's like a goody two-shoes kind of thing.
You're just being good because you want to try to be good or whatever.
Trying to be good to go to heaven or whatever.
But it's not about being good at all.
And you'll see that people that are really powerful in the Bible, it's not that they were good as in having self-control.
It's all about having a heart for God.
If you have a heart for God...
You can overcome things even when you mess up.
If you have a heart for God, you'll mess up, but you'll stand up and you'll keep going.
And you'll see that in characters all throughout the Bible.
I guess the most famous one for having a heart for God is King David.
And of course, he was...
Tempted in with all kind of issues, Bathsheba, all kind of stuff.
But he was able to overcome because he did have a heart for God.
And having a heart for God will make you to where you realize, oh, wow, I did mess up.
And this is not the way I want to keep going.
But I want to go back where I know I'm going towards the Lord and where he has set my path to go.
And I will say, Ryan and I... Through our marriage and through especially campaigning.
And there's so much that's happened, but we can write a book.
We are writing a book.
We'll write a book about it.
But it's, you know, people do a lot of bad things.
And Ryan will tell me, like, we're not going to do that.
We're going to do this instead.
And we've seen the fruit of our life and people that we prayed for in a good way, not curses, even though I wanted to, that were removed.
We're removed from roles that, you know, were impacting us in business or impacting us on social media.
And we've seen God just remove them.
Well, so the Bible says that vengeance is the Lord.
And revenge is his too.
It's his vengeance.
Yeah.
See, if I take revenge on somebody, it will leave them in bondage.
But if God does it, it'll put them on their knees.
And it's a totally way to do it.
So if you want somebody to really be set free, let God handle it.
And He'll do it in such a way that people...
It'll be a fulfillment of Scripture.
Every knee shall bow.
Every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord.
So let's talk about...
I was just thinking when you were talking earlier, way earlier, about...
You're praying to see your guardian angel when you're a kid.
And just praying for that in bed.
Can you tell about that?
Because that was a supernatural miracle, in my opinion, that happened to you.
Can you talk about that?
Yeah.
I think when I was a teenager, probably the TV show Touched by an Angel was popular.
And also in the youth group that I went to, We had youth pastors that would tell stories about you know how people would like experience where like they seem like an angel has stopped a vehicle just in time to keep from getting a head-on collision or you know people's lives say it looked like a supernatural way for that to happen and it's like Like
people have had experiences where God had intervened and saved them.
And so it's kind of weird talking about this, but I've had a relationship with God where if I see somebody else do something, I'm like, well, you created me in the image of God and I'm your child.
Why can't I have the same thing?
And greater works will do.
Yeah.
And, you know, when you told me about it, you were talking about how the angel would come, and he'd always say, don't be afraid.
Yeah, and angels are in the Bible, and God used angels as messengers to go forth and declare things over people.
Yeah.
And so I knew reading scripture, angels did exist, and they were used minorly in scripture.
And so I'd always heard that we had a guardian angel, but I don't know if we really need one and all this kind of stuff.
But I was like, Jesus, if I have an angel, ask that you would let me see my angel or something.
So I had this experience where Just out of the blue I had probably prayed that a month before and I was laying in the bed at night and then all of a sudden the light came through the hallway and just filled up this room and this big figure walked in and it scared the crap out of me.
I was just frozen in fear and then And then he smiled.
He was like a manly looking guy and he smiled at me.
And when he smiled at me, I felt safe and I just laid down and just felt so much peace.
And when I woke up the next day, I was like, I think I just got answered my prayer and I saw a guardian angel.
But I normally don't share stuff like this with everybody, but for some reason you're bringing it up on this show.
Well, it's because Ryan is real analytical.
So you wouldn't know that because I'm pushing him on spiritual stuff.
I won't continue to do that.
But he is very analytical.
And so he has engineering mindset, but he is very creative too.
And so he's one that, like, if somebody came and they said they could do miracles, he's going to test it.
Somebody has gold dust coming out of their hair, he's going to, like, get glitter and order it and test it along with the gold dust as they manifest it.
Because he just doesn't believe people that say there's angel feathers in the air.
Like, he doesn't believe that stuff.
He's going to prove it himself.
He's that kind of person.
And so whenever he has a supernatural experience happen, you know it happened because he's not, I don't know, A conspiracy theorist kind of person.
That's not who he is.
Well, I don't like flaky stuff, and I will tell about this experience.
Just to show you how analytical I am, there was a guy that I was going to church in Hazlehurst, and the church at the time, there was a pastor that used to pastor the church, but now he was a missionary to Mexico.
And so while he was in Mexico, he met this woman and she goes by all...
You don't say her name.
I don't know.
Anyways, I guess I won't say the name.
But there's this woman from Mexico and they said she has gold dust coming all out of her body and everything.
And anyways, so they brought this woman to our church because they were like...
They were just willing to, hey, if God's in this, we'll accept.
We're not going to put limits on God if he does stuff like this, and that's pretty cool.
And anyways, so they brought her to our church, and she had an interpreter.
She couldn't speak English, and she had glitter all over her, and she had like a pouch, and she would sprinkle glitter on people and different things like that.
And so I got some of that glitter and keep in mind I was like a late teenager or early 20s and I got some of that glitter and then I ordered like 10 different glitters from all over the internet and then I found an exact match.
And it's not like I didn't believe that she was a Christian or anything like that.
I just don't like people manipulating.
Like I don't want people Listen, control manipulation is witchcraft.
And I don't like it when people try to manipulate people into getting saved.
I don't like people manipulating people into believing stuff that just gets short-term results, but maybe not lifelong results.
And I felt weird in my spirit, like she was manipulating people into believing that they could be healed.
By having the glitter on them.
And it was like building up their faith in that instead of building up their faith in by your stripes, by his stripes we are healed.
You know what I'm saying?
So there's just weird stuff like that that I would be real analytical and try it out myself.
Like, okay, you say this is gold dust.
I will see if it is actually gold and actually burn it and it was just the plastic stuff.
Anyways, the reason why I searched so hard on stuff like that is because I'm looking for a genuine, authentic experience from God and what is authentic and genuine is his love and how he'll set you free from everything and Well, it's like you are gifted in music.
So you started out playing the piano and taking piano lessons and then you started playing the guitar and you can play the drums and you play all these instruments.
And yes, you have studied music and you can read music, but you can also play it by ear and you also create music and you've written songs since you were a young kid.
Even before you could play instruments, you were writing songs.
And so it's a gift.
People say it's a talent, but yours is a gift from the Lord.
And so I think that, you know, you being sensitive to music and you being sensitive to hearing from God in that way, it makes you more sensitive to things that are fake and that are not real.
Yeah, because it can get kind of...
There's extremes in the church.
You can go to a church where all it is is studying scripture and And there's no power within the scripture, like the Holy Spirit died out with the early disciples, even though Stephen was not a disciple of Jesus and performed miracles.
And it was like the Holy Spirit died out then, and he's not in existence.
As an apostle or prophet.
So you've got major extremes and you've got some people that are just looking for just an experience that Like, to experience God as joy in church and everything, and then walk out of church and be a totally different person.
Like, you're just chasing experiences instead of chasing the one.
The relationship, right?
So when people chase an experience, we can have an affair with someone and have an experience, right?
And maybe it feels good at the time, but it's not relationship.
And so God's not in it and it's not going to be long term.
It's not going to be something that's eternal and final.
And it's the same kind of thing.
We're flesh, and so you want to do things like that, but it's not anything that's of any worth.
But I was thinking about you whenever all the music things.
So you're a musician.
Everybody knew that in the church.
And then you had a guy who was a prophet come, and he spoke and prophesied to your daddy about one of his sons.
And you were in the sound booth.
You had not been on the stage doing anything.
He would have no idea that his son was Musical.
And he gave this whole prophetic word that was things you had prayed for and God had spoken your spirit.
And it was like, oh my gosh, that's real.
And so you totally believed in that.
So it's not like you don't believe in supernatural.
You do.
But it's when it's authentic.
Yeah, that's true.
You want to talk about that prophecy at all?
It's kind of personal.
I don't really want to go into it.
But you've had that happen several times.
Yeah.
With prophetic words.
And I was thinking about when you were growing up, spending hours praying and getting songs and hearing from God and taking your Bible to school, not because you wanted to be seen as a Christian, but because you wanted to be close to the Lord.
And that is authentic relationship.
And I really think that's why I know it's why you're who you are.
And why you understand the Word.
And you see things differently.
I'll come sometimes and say, well, what about this?
And you'll say, yeah, but this.
Because you understand it deeper.
Because you've studied it deeper than I have for so long.
Well, if you've seen Jesus, you've seen the Father.
So, when you first become a Christian, you really need to read the Gospels and While you're reading the Gospel, you just need to, in your imagination, see Jesus and how He'll react in situations and what He would do, and God will reveal Himself to you.
And if you've seen Jesus, you've seen the Father, you begin to understand His nature and how every good and perfect gift is from Him.
The goodness of God will lead you to repentance.
Over and over, you'll see how much He loves you.
And He never turned anybody down.
He healed everybody.
He delivered everybody.
He was moved with compassion.
He said, those without sin throw the first stone.
And the total opposite of that would be the accuser.
That would point fingers.
So it really blows me away when people who don't know Jesus...
See him as something to make fun of when the adversary is the one that's pointing, that wants to put you down, that wants to curse you, while Jesus wants to lift you up and set you free and empower you to live like he did.
yeah I protect you from all the stuff on Twitter all the comments and all the memes that are putting Jesus down and saying really bad things and like vile things and making him just I protect you from that because you would get really upset but it's it's crazy it's Social media has become...
This place of where you have these 1% outrageous people who, not only are they just atheists, they're Luciferian worshippers, and they literally spend all day going after Christians and trying to debunk Christianity and speaking so vile against Jesus Christ.
You've seen it in schools, but...
Yeah, the Bible talks about the enemy sending fiery darts and we have put on the shield of faith.
But there's not like an imaginary shield we pull up.
Faith is the shield.
So if you have faith in Jesus, you have a shield.
And so you have to look at it from that point of view that faith is actual shield and I'm going to have faith in Jesus and If God is for me, who can be against me?
And when you have that attitude, nothing can penetrate that.
So, I don't know where you want to go next, but I was thinking about you went through this whole period of time for, I don't know, probably a year, that you were really pondering faith.
And what it meant to have faith.
And you wrote a couple faith songs during this time when you were pondering this and got on my nerves, honestly.
Constantly telling me about faith all the time.
And I'm like, I have faith, boy.
Calm down.
And so I don't know if you want to talk a little bit about that journey of walking through and how the Lord was really speaking to you about faith or how it shifted your thoughts about it where you were before to now, but...
You're looking for something tangible, I know, but in some way to explain it.
Right.
So when there was this time when God was preparing our hearts to step out and do something big, and then the first person in our family to step out and do something big was for you to run for office.
And by the coming couple years before that, God was kind of preparing our hearts to start believing and having faith for something big.
And, you know, so.
I hadn't thought about it like that, but I guess that is kind of when he started doing that.
Because we're normal people, right?
We're educators and we have three kids and We're normal.
We're on a budget.
He put me on a really tight budget last week.
So we kind of, we're just normal people.
So we said that when I ran for US Senate, people literally said, who are you?
And why don't you run for a local seat?
Why don't you run for a state house seat?
Why are you running for this big seat?
And I was like, because the Lord told me to.
It was just like, he told me to.
And I think, I know, the reason why he told us to is because we had to learn the state really quickly.
We had to learn politics really quickly.
We had no idea about anything related to politics, and we had to do like a rapid fire class in it.
So when we ran for governor, we were more prepared.
But it was just, we just stepped out in blind faith, honestly.
So, Anyway, so I was led down this journey to try to discover faith.
What is it?
How to use it?
All this kind of stuff.
And there's all kind of reasons why, like, I've asked God for things, and I've had things that haven't manifested yet, or I haven't received them.
And I'm going to be like, okay, I know God is with me.
What is the reason why I don't have, you know, it says, you know, You should have received the campaign.
Yes, you shall find.
And so looking at the scripture, you see that when people have doubt, they don't.
A lot of times they don't receive from God when they have doubt or unbelief.
And so sometimes Jesus would have to clear the room and have nobody but just him there.
Even people in the prophets would have to do that too.
Because unbelief would just totally kill miracles.
And what God wanted to give you.
And so it sent me on this journey.
And so what I came down to, an easy way to have faith, or to practice faith, is to see, say, feel, trust.
And I'll break this down.
So basically, when God would speak to somebody...
Like a prophet.
In the Old Testament, he spoke to prophets.
In the New Testament, he spoke to his disciples.
And they would have to see it.
See, he would show them a vision.
And even if God spoke to them audibly, God created us so that we have an imagination.
And if you're reading a book, you're seeing the words, you'll see what happens in that book in your imagination.
or somebody tells you a story you can start to see that story develop in your mind and so you can see it so see and then say what the prophets do they would speak the word of the lord the power of life and death is in your tongue you have to say it out loud and god in the lord's prayer what did he do he spoke out loud every time jesus did anything he said it out loud Even
the scripture I started out with on the mountain, he kept saying that the Lucifer is written.
It is written.
And he spoke the written word, which is really important too.
Even from the very beginning, God spoke.
Let there be light.
And so we are created in his image.
And we have to do as he did to get results in our life.
And so you have to say it out loud.
See, figure out what God wants you for your life.
Either you pray and ask God to speak to your heart, give you a vision, or you get it in the scripture.
Whatever God gave to somebody else in his word, he can give to you.
And so see, say, and then feel.
And I struggle with this because it is not about feelings at all.
Because when you have faith for stuff, a lot of times you may not feel like you have it right then or feel like God wants you to have it.
But His Word says that every good and perfect gift is from the Lord.
And He wants you to have stuff and be blessed.
The reason why I have feel in there is because when Jesus performed miracles, he was moved with compassion.
If you feel it in your heart, it is real to you.
So it was real to Jesus.
When He heals somebody.
And He loved them.
He had compassion for them.
And so you feel God's love in your heart.
His passion for you.
It's real.
You are aligning yourself up with God.
I'm going to have compassion.
I'm going to have your will for my life.
And so that's why I have feel.
So, so far we have see, say, feel, and then trust.
And if you can trust in God that He'll do it, Then you know that you have faith.
Because without trust, if you don't trust in God, you have doubt and unbelief in your life.
If I don't trust that you're going to have my best interests at heart, then I'm not going to trust you.
If you're out cheating on me or flirting with someone else, I'm not going to trust you.
And I'm not going to submit to you.
Correct.
And there's so much more, but it's hard for me to pull it up in this conversation.
But we did.
We saw miracles when we were running for office, and I know it was by faith.
But the reason why I came up, I tried to discover a method to practice is because people will say, well, you just believe.
Just believe.
And I'm like, well, how do I know if I'm even believing?
How do I know if God wants me to...
God wants this for me or not?
Well, if I just take these four things, look at it, see.
So if there's something in my life like I need a healing touch, I want somebody to be saved.
I need a miracle in finances.
I need a new job.
You know, I can't stand on what I'm doing.
I don't feel peace in my life.
I have chaos in my life.
I need things.
I need something to change in my life.
You need to get through to your thick-headed wife and make her submit to what you're saying.
Yeah.
So, figure out, first step, is what I'm praying for something that God wants me to have?
Is he showing me this, that he wants this for me, for my life?
Can you find this in scripture?
Can I read it?
Can I see it in there that he wants me to have this?
Or is it just me wanting to just lusting over something?
You know what I mean?
So if I'm just lusting over something, then it may not...
That's one thing.
Bam!
I can't have faith for that.
You know what I mean?
So you have something to look at as a test to see if that's something you can pray for and get results and if God will honor that and give you results.
So see, say, can I say this out loud?
It's so very true.
How do you get saved?
Believe in your heart.
confess with your mouth that he is Lord.
So I've got to say this out loud.
If I'm not willing to say this out loud, then I may not have faith to do it.
And so see, say, feel, do I feel passionate about this?
Do I feel compassion?
Do I feel that God wants me to have this?
See, God wants you to be totally healthy.
And if you feel like he doesn't, if you feel like there's something that God doesn't want you to have, like he's trying to teach you a lesson, then you won't have faith for it.
And you need to go back and look at the scripture, and look how Jesus is, look at his nature, and how even the birds, he'll take care of them.
Even the flowers, look how he clothes the How much more would he clothe you?
You are his children.
So you've got to have the gospel and know God's nature and how he sees you.
He sees you high and lift you.
He made you perfect in his image.
I'm thinking about confidence.
You know, we're confident in things, and we need to be confident in our relationship with Him.
Confident in...
I was thinking we had a crusade here a couple weeks ago in our hometown, and they were like, well, do you know that you're going to heaven?
I mean, just come down just in case if you don't know.
And I sat there and thought, oh, I know.
I have a relationship.
I have an intimate relationship with Jesus.
But there's so many people that don't.
And it's confidence in Him and knowing that not only...
Like, he knows me.
My name's in the Lamb's Book of Life.
They kept saying that is your name in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Oh, mine's there.
It's tattooed there.
It's not tattooed on his hand, right?
They talk about that in the Bible.
I know it's there because he knows me.
And I know him.
I know him.
I know his voice.
I know his presence.
I know him.
And I think that there's a confidence that comes from relationship.
Like, I know you.
Right?
Better than I know anybody.
And you know me better than anybody knows me because we have intimacy and relationship and spend time together and we talk about these things together.
Same thing with the Lord.
We should be spending time with Him and talking about these things with Him.
And the final thing is trust.
You learn to trust God as you're walking with Him.
You learn that you can count on Him and He will pull through for you.
And listen, This faith thing, it's been a huge journey for me.
I've had ups and downs.
And I've had times in my life where I question, even though I've had wonderful experiences with God, where I question God's existence.
And let me tell you why.
It's because the whole educational system hates God.
You grow up in school, learn about the Big Bang, About evolution.
You go to college, the professors make fun of you for being a Christian, make you look like you're stupid.
Our son's experiencing that right now with an abortion paper he wrote and mocking him for not believing in murdering of the pre-born to the point that it's an English class and the professor took The topic of abortion in an 1102 English class and went and blasted it out in front of the whole classroom.
And my son knew it was because of him because he had read the feedback and his peer review partner knew because they had sat there together and he heard the professor berate my son about the paper.
And I thought, you know, that's pretty bad that you're that into brainwashing children because they're children.
They might be 18 years old, but he's still my son.
His frontal lobe where he makes decisions isn't fully developed till 25.
So he's sitting there and he's being told.
And you know what my son said?
Our son, he said, you know what, mama?
What if there was a girl sitting there that was pregnant and she was thinking about having an abortion and that teacher just said all he said arguing the point that it's not a life yet it's not important it should be done for convenience and everything that he said and then she went that day and she killed that baby that's what he left there with and so we did something right but the point is they're brainwashing our kids On purpose.
It's purposeful.
So here I am paying tuition for him to go to college, paying for our apartment, paying for gas money, paying for food, and doing that so he can be an attorney.
He wants to be an attorney.
And so you're doing that so he can fight for the Constitution to protect our country, but yet he's being brainwashed while he's there and having to push back against it and trying to walk this tightrope of, am I going to get a bad grade?
Am I going to get kicked out?
Am I not going to get in my next university or in law school because I'm pushing back now?
It's wrong.
It's evil.
Well, think about this.
So, Satan has been defeated by the blood of Jesus.
And so, what is the devil's last option?
Well, he's the great deceiver.
The liar.
And so, what do you think he's going to do?
He's going to try to trick as many people as possible and to not...
Believing that God even exists.
Creation doesn't even exist, right?
Firmament talks about that.
And, you know, they want to push everything they can to make it seem as foreign as possible.
And so, you know, I did a show and interviewed a flat earther and then I was called a flat earther, whatever.
But I believe what the Bible says.
I believe in a firmament.
I believe exactly what the Bible says about creation.
I'm not a flat earther.
You know, that's a theory, too.
But everything with outer space and everything with, you know, The Big Bang Theory and all the things to make it seem like it is just randomness.
We're not randomness.
We were purposed.
We were intentional.
And our relationship with God is intentional.
It's all from intention.
And you have free will.
It's your choice.
But our identity is intentional.
Either we're intentionally going to be founded in Christ or we're intentionally going to be founded in the world and in witchcraft and in darkness and deception and Some people think they're a Christian and they totally aren't because their identity is in the world and it's nothing to do with God.
And we all fall short.
We all sin.
But you should be becoming more like Christ every day.
We should be wanting to do that.
You should be desiring.
If you don't desire to be more like Christ, then you're probably not saved.
Well, the whole solar system is named after demons, false gods.
And so...
It's hard to believe in something as a Christian and believe in it 100%.
There might be pieces of it that's true, but I'm not going to sit here and believe and worship what's taught in public education and in society that's been ingrained in us recently.
This wasn't even around until a couple hundred years ago.
It's a theory, and you've named it after demons, but you want me to just accept that, and if I don't accept it, you're going to put me in Rolling Stone magazine and call me a flat-earther trying to make me look like I'm crazy.
No, thank you.
I'm going to research it for myself, and I'm going to put it to the Word of God and try it there and listen to the Lord, and I'm going to believe what I want to believe, and you're not going to control what I believe because I'm a free thinker.
I'm an independent thinker, and I'm going to believe what I want to.
You're not going to indoctrinate me.
Well...
Deception.
See, our founding fathers, the pilgrims that came over here, like 1620, they believed that they were on a mission from God.
Okay?
A mission.
They were divinely inspired to come and to create this nation.
And above every obstacle they faced, God took them through it and they were triumphed.
They had...
George Washington had about 2,000 men.
And the greatest, the largest navy the world has ever seen, the biggest army in the world at the time, was coming to crush them.
And they did it anyways because where the freedom of Jesus is, what's this?
Liberty.
Where Jesus has it said.
Where the freedom of the Lord is.
Yeah, where the freedom of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Or something.
What is it?
I forgot.
I'm going to have to look it up.
I'm not good at talking off the cuff.
Yes, you are.
That's why she runs for office.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is.
Yeah, where the Spirit of the Lord is.
See, if you have enough Jesus inside of you, you will be free.
And you will fight for freedom because God gave you free will.
God gave us free will.
And even though our nation was planted because of Jesus...
A couple weeks ago, we had an evangelist, a crusade come through here in Baxley.
A lot of people got saved.
It was great for the community to raise awareness for Jesus.
When the guy would come speak at our school, he wasn't allowed to say the name Jesus.
And it bothered me so much because...
It wasn't that he wasn't allowed.
I think he didn't feel like...
We didn't tell him he couldn't, but, you know, if they feel like in public school, they can't say the name Jesus.
And so, anyway.
It bothers me so much because we can be taught our whole lives to...
Not believe in God.
To have disbelief.
And then...
Everything...
Our whole foundation, our morals are founded on Jesus and the gospel, and then you can learn about anything except for Jesus in school, and it just bothers me so much how far we've came.
Because there's children that will be taken to church, and if they did go to church, maybe they're not at a church that's going to actually talk to them about Jesus and the truth.
It's because they can talk about all this good stuff, like, yeah, we want to Quit cussing.
Yeah, we want to quit vaping.
We want to quit the THC vase.
We want to quit all this stuff.
Yeah, just quit doing it.
It's so addictive.
Hating people is so addictive.
Hurt people.
Pornography.
Our kids are all addicted to pornography.
We We, all these research studies, we're seeing medical journals now that are saying that kids are having like erectile dysfunction because they have looked at so much porn because it's free and it's so accessible.
And, you know, Japanese anime porn, it looks like cartoons.
So we're seeing elementary age children across our country who are addicted.
Parents just give the phones to them as a babysitter and they're looking at cartoons, but it's pornography and it is triggering a response in them they're not ready for.
They're not ready for that.
That's That shouldn't even be happening.
And it's terrible.
The Bible says when you do it to children, it's like tying a millstone around your neck.
You take in the innocence of kids.
And it's perpetuating, it's ruining society.
And we see it everywhere.
But then you can't talk to them about Jesus.
What I'm saying is that hurt people hurt people.
And you literally, you cannot walk this out without Jesus.
It's not what I did.
My righteousness is like filthy rags.
If I could live a perfect life, it would be like a translation would be like toilet paper, a used toilet paper.
That's how my righteousness is.
So it's not about me being good or me walking the right path.
It's about what he did on the cross.
It's the work, it's the powerful work of the gospel of Jesus.
His blood that atones sin.
And because of that, I can have His righteousness.
He will empower me to walk down the straight and narrow.
He'll empower me to pick up the cross.
It's a work From Jesus.
It's complete in him and in his blood.
And it just...
For somebody to come in there and talk about good things and all this kind of stuff, it's like...
It's totally pointless without Jesus.
It's totally...
It's not even...
It doesn't matter at all.
It's like...
Even self-control is the fruit of the Spirit.
So, we can say in Jesus' name and his name is above all names.
But...
Our freedom and power, dunamis power, it comes from the blood of Jesus.
Our right standing, our righteousness, our right standing with God comes from the blood of Jesus.
Without the blood, there's nothing.
Without the blood, that's it.
I mean, yeah, we'd have the name of Jesus, which is authority and dominion, but you're not ever going to be set free.
You're not ever going to be in right standing with God to go to heaven, to even live righteous, to have all the blessings.
All that comes through the blood of Jesus.
It's what created reconciliation.
but I do want to talk about control because that's how I got set free like I one of my best friends since died in a car wreck and I was atheist in my thinking for about two weeks I thought if God's in control I grew up Baptist and they always say that God's in control if God's in control then I am done I live in the Bible Belt.
I've bought into something that has just been preached at me all my life.
I don't believe it anymore.
I'm done.
And I am going to just forget it.
And I've been a counselor for years.
And so I had seen kids sexually abused.
And it had never hit me as hard as it hit me when her son was killed in that car wreck.
And he was like 14 years old.
And so the Lord sent somebody to my house and told me, John 10, 10.
I didn't know what John 10.10's exact address was, but she said, the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus comes to give life and life more abundantly.
And when she said that, I just had it hit me so hard.
Jesus is not schizophrenic.
He's not killing.
He's not stealing.
He's not destroying.
So anything that's in those three things, That's the enemy.
That's Lucifer.
That's Satan.
That's the devil.
Whatever you want to call him, that is not Jesus.
That's not God.
That's not his character.
And so I realized that things happen in a fallen world.
Bad things happen to good people.
Bad things happen to bad people.
And it happens because we live in a fallen world.
It's not because God caused it to happen.
And so I started out with the first scripture about the devil saying, I give you all these kingdoms.
Because I have heard campaigning so many times.
Well, if they're in leadership, God put them there.
And so the why am I fighting for fair legal elections?
Why are we trying to count the paper?
Why are we?
Why did God tell me to run?
You're telling me I didn't hear from the Lord and he didn't tell me to run for governor.
So why would we be fighting for these things if he's in control and he's just controlling us like chess pieces?
He doesn't.
He doesn't do that.
And that verse that says, Lucifer telling Jesus, I'll give you all these kingdoms.
That proves that he can give you kingdoms, which means he can make you a king.
So, when Adam sinned, he gave up his birthright over earth.
He sinned.
And he gave it over to Lucifer.
He gave up his authority.
And then when Jesus came and died on the cross, he gave us back that authority.
And if you are the temple of the Holy Spirit, you represent God, you can go and take that authority back.
And even we see in the Old Testament, when Israel was becoming a nation, this is after they came into the Promised Land.
Samuel was set as the prophet and as the judge.
All the other nations in the world had a king, except for Israel.
And at that time, Samuel was getting old, so he set his sons as judges.
But his sons would be persuaded by money, they would have perverted judgment, all this kind of stuff, because they didn't have a heart for God like Samuel did.
And then the people, they wanted to have a king like the other nations.
And so God gave them that choice.
Either you can let God continue to be the one over the nation and see how, look how, what God did for them.
God pretty much, like, took them to greatness.
And then they, the whole time he was taking them to greatness, they were sinning against him the whole time.
And so God's like, okay, I'll let you choose.
I took you to the promised land like I promised.
And now here you are.
And they chose to have an earthly king.
And under an earthly king, you are under the mercy of that king.
So if you have a king that has a heart for God, like King David, then you'll be successful in battle.
If you have a king that is seeking the wisdom of God, like Solomon, then you'll be so prosperous.
But after generation after generation, it slowly decayed.
And you have kings that not only didn't have a heart for God, But had a wicked heart.
And then finally, you'll have a king that was so wicked, they were putting up, they were worshiping Baal.
They were even sending their children into fire, which is they would kill their own children and sacrifice it.
And it was just so much Sexual immorality, so much evilness that God, it was like, it was so much that God removed them from His sight.
And after that, they were conquered.
The people just gone everywhere.
But it's like, they were, the people were under the mercy of that king.
And so, what's so important is that our forefathers, they came to America and they want to Freedom and liberty.
So they fought for it.
And God gave them that choice.
And God delivered them and protected them and gave us this nation of America.
And we were under that.
We were under the mercy of a government that was for God.
In God we trust.
That would put God first.
And we became powerful.
We became number one.
Not only number one, but nobody could compete with us.
And now, we are under the mercy of politicians that are just like the sons of Samuel, that have perverted judgment, that have turned aside from money, and then all this other stuff, and listen, it's just having, just being a human, just being a human can be susceptible to that.
Listen, Judas walked with Jesus He saw all the miracles.
He fellowshiped with the one that loved him more than anything in creation.
He ate too, right?
He did.
And Judas betrayed the Lamb of God for money.
Listen.
The love of money.
The love of money is the root of all evil.
Listen.
These politicians...
I believe there is...
The devil knows how to tempt people.
Okay?
And everybody has fallen short of the glory of God.
But listen, it is so important that we start putting people in positions that know Jesus.
That have Jesus as the Lord of their life.
Because as the temple of the Holy Spirit, if we elect people...
That are temples of the Holy Spirit.
That are divinely inspired by God.
Just like the pilgrims that came over here that were divinely inspired by God.
We will be led.
We will be a nation led by God once again.
Okay?
It is so easy for that to happen.
But, what would the enemy do to keep that from happening?
What is one thing he could do to keep godly men and women From reaching the point of office.
What can they do?
Well, they cheated.
If they have rigged elections, is that a possibility?
And it wasn't that God put them back in there.
Does God not want us to take authority and demand and fight back?
He comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
The accuser.
The adversary.
Lucifer.
If somebody gave the adversary the ability to steal something, you don't think he will?
Yes, he will.
He wants America more than he wants anything else.
And so does all the other nations.
Because you said something really powerful.
Not only were we number one, we were the greatest nation that's ever been, ever in existence, America.
God chose Israel, but America chose God.
And so we're the greatest nation.
Not only were we the greatest nation, there's nobody that can compete.
Because when you go and you are in competition, you may get a little bit better, but then you might get beat, right?
Because you might get beat the next time or If you fall or you make a bad decision or you get injured, you might be beat.
It doesn't matter.
They cannot defeat America.
And we've become so arrogant and rebellious to that mentality that guess what?
They're defeating America.
And they're ripping us apart from within by our own elected politicians.
And we have to say, no more.
I'm not going to live under the mercy of of a government that won't put Jesus first I will not do it So whatever that looks like, if that looks like going and driving your county commissioners, your local politicians crazy until they give in, until they...
Every meeting.
You show up every meeting, and you talk, and you're going to put participation, you write articles to the paper, you make phone calls, you make in-person visits, you do whatever you got to do.
You expose all the corrections, you post their voting record.
I mean, I have...
Actually, we're going to do a video live and talk about their voting records here in Georgia because...
They're at like conservative ratings or in the 30s and there's Democrats in the House and Senate in Georgia that have higher conservative voting records than our Republicans.
It's a joke.
So you do whatever you have to do to make it so uncomfortable that they either submit and become a servant, which is to serve at someone else's will, or either they leave, they resign.
And you primary every one of them and you make them have to Be exposed publicly to ridicule and shame to how they voted because they're supposed to be voting to represent us.
If they're not representing us, then we're going to expose you and we're going to show it and we're going to put it out for everyone to see on Buffet and you can't deny and you can't hide and make them raise more money because, my goodness, they're all about the money anyway.
And it's a lot of work to raise money.
And it's not just putting good old boys, good people in office.
They have to be like a real Christian.
They have to put Jesus as Lord.
And that's the kind of people we need to have in office.
Like, we have to.
And I can tell you, you know, you're not supposed to judge people, but you judge by the fruit.
And so, as we campaigned all over the state, how me and Ryan, how our litmus test was, was we'd get in the car and we'd say, well, nobody said Jesus.
Because it's not about just being good or being a good person.
Anybody could do a good deed or act like they're good or whatever.
Be nice, pleasant.
But what I'm talking about is if you have a heart for God, then you can make mistakes and stumble.
But when it comes down to it, you will do the right thing if you have a heart for God.
You won't take millions of dollars and be bought off.
You won't decide, you know what, I'll run for another seat, even though God told me to run for this seat.
And I'll take money and I'll get that seat just so I can have a position because it's about me, me, me, me, me.
Because if you put His kingdom first, then...
All things will be added unto you.
And if you delight in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart.
So if you want money, you want riches, all that kind of stuff, if you hang out with Jesus first, don't hang out with wanting money first.
Delight in the Lord.
Then it will give you the desires of your heart.
The true desire of your heart may not be to win the lottery or something like that.
The true desire may just be happy all the time.
And sometimes things in the kingdom of God is like opposite.
In my brain, it just seems like opposite of what you would want to do fleshly.
It'll be like the opposite reaction.
But then...
The fruit of that and the blessing of that is incomparable to what would have been if you had done it your way.
And so I think that's one of the examples.
I think we lose sight sometimes because this existence on earth is so short compared to eternity.
It's almost like you blink and it's over compared to all of eternity.
And then what does it profit your soul if you acquire the whole world?
I mean, what does it profit you if you acquire the whole world, but you lose your soul?
Nothing.
So, for this one moment, you have everything.
But everything after that, you have nothing.
It's like the people right now who are, they say that they're a Republican and they say that they're for fair legal voting, but they know that it was read, but they don't care.
You can show them all the data and all the evidence and they don't care because they worship a king.
It's their king.
They feel like they're best friends with the governor.
They feel like they're best friends with their representative and they don't really care if it's read.
Those people are thrown away.
Our constitutional republic.
They're throwing away our freedom.
And the people in those seats who know they rigged it, they know what they did, they've just sold their soul to the devil.
So who cares if you have millions of dollars and you have power for this little period of time that's a vapor?
Because life is a vapor.
Who cares if you have that?
But you're so callous and hard-hearted that you cannot feel conviction from the Holy Spirit.
And so you're never going to get saved.
You're never going to be redeemed.
And people, oh, I hope they got saved on their deathbed.
I mean, this, you know, senator in California, she died this week.
And that was what I was reading on social media.
Well, I hope she got saved on her deathbed.
I hope she got saved.
And I was thinking about that.
You know, people that say, well, you know, I hope people get saved on their deathbed.
I think that's pretty hard to do.
And people would probably argue with me about that.
They would probably say, you know, you can just confess with your mouth anytime and be saved.
But if you don't feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit, you're not just going to say, I believe God's real and I believe Jesus died for my sins.
Because you're hard-hearted.
Like, you have to be You can truly sear your conscience so much that you don't feel that conviction that would lead you to Jesus.
Well, that's why every person should seek your salvation with fear and trembling.
Like, you need to seek it yourself with fear and trembling.
Yeah.
No.
Don't wait to the end, is what I'm trying to tell you.
Because, who knows?
I mean, you keep sinning and doing things.
It could be too late.
And there is...
The Spirit of God, I just don't believe that He stays when you're in this deep of sin and corruption.
He's perfect.
I was fixing to go somewhere with that.
I messed you up.
It's okay.
But what I was saying is that having complete power here on earth Is a joke compared to being seated with Jesus at the right hand of God for all eternity.
Let me tell you, what does that mean?
That means, you know how powerful you would be to be seated at the right hand of God with Jesus?
You know how much authority and power you would have?
You would literally be a child of God.
You'd be created in a copy of God, created in His image.
Like, so much power.
So, it's like, it makes having earthly power like a joke, like nothing.
Like, no comparison.
But the Satan is such a deceiver.
He's such a...
He's so good at spreading...
And he doesn't come looking like horned tail and ears.
I mean, like horns.
He comes as an angel of light.
Right.
And it talks about in the book of Revelation when finally Lucifer or Satan is revealed.
It's like we're going to look at him like, really?
That was the adversary?
Really?
That was him?
And of course you would look at him like that when you are seated at the right hand of God himself.
And even now, Ryan, you know, the Holy Spirit lives inside of us.
And he said, greater works you'll do because I go to be with the Father.
And he raised the dead and he multiplied bread and fish.
And he did all these miracles.
And one of my favorite miracles, really it's become one of my favorite miracles ever, is Moses and splitting the sea.
You look at the plays, we can go through all of that, but just the whole act of splitting the sea and the ground drying up so you can walk on it.
How scary it must have been for this water to be beside your head, knowing it could just come in on top of you.
Behind you is an army that's going to kill you for leaving.
It comes on top of them and crushes them all.
That miracle And it says greater works we will do.
And I'm thinking about casting a mountain into the sea with my mouth.
And how important when you're talking about faith, what we speak is.
It's so important.
We frame our world with our words.
And it's so vitally important that we don't speak sickness over ourself and we don't speak, you know, financial ruin over ourself, that we speak God's word like Jesus did on the mountain in the In that garden and said, it is written.
It is written.
And the reason why he told the enemy that is because of God's law.
His word can't return void.
It's like we forget.
And listen.
I'm writing a worship album.

And when I'm writing lyrics...
I thought it was written...
I thought it was written for me.
So...
He sings songs in the mornings.
And so he was singing this beautiful melody.
I don't know if it's called a melody, but that's what I call it.
And it's like, I love you now.

But anyway, he was singing this song.
And I was like, oh, baby, you're writing me a song.
And he was like, actually, I'm writing it.
It's a worship song.
I'm writing it for Jesus.
I'm almost close with this worship album.

Anyway, so...
When I'm writing lyrics, I'll see stuff like I see.
I can imagine it playing out like a story.
And I saw God create Adam and Adam being like a baby and holding him.
He creates a place just to raise his babies.
A garden of Eden.
And it just being...
He's perfect and just a paradise.
And him raising his baby and then creating Eve for Adam.
And just raising them as babies.
He loves them.
He put his own life.
He breathed life into him.
He put a piece of his own self inside of Adam.
And so, fast forward, it's like this life journey is where the whole life journey is to find our way back to the Father.
Because we lost our connection with God.
And, you know, trying to find our way back to the Father.
And when you find Him, you know, it's so wonderful.
And that's what it's all about.
There's nothing else like it.
And see, Jesus, God, He loves us so much.
More than we can't comprehend how much He loves us.
He loves us so much He would die for us.
He did.
And not only did He die, He...
Went through a complete and awful horrific death and didn't have to.
He could have stopped at any time he wanted to.
They didn't kill him.
He gave himself up.
It's his choice.
And so you have the story from the very beginning where God created Adam and then we look at the very end when we're seated with God in heaven and it's just a beautiful journey of God, of us Having free will and...
Choosing Him.
Choosing to walk away from God.
Our own kind did.
And then having to walk through that curse.
And then God, Jesus coming so that we could find our way home.
Back to the Father.
It is a powerful thing.
And that really is the meaning of life.
Is to find your way back to the Father.
And He does.
He loves us.
He loves us so much He gave you to me.
And gave us beautiful children.
So we have to think about things that He's done for you because we can always think about the bad things and Ryan's really good at that.
Let's be thankful for good stuff.
Let's be thankful for everything that we need to be thankful for and quit being negative and quit saying negative things because it's easy to take things for granted like simple things like us being able to breathe and being healthy and I think people that are you know not healthy and they have a hard time it is it's a constant pain or a constant struggle to breathe they're the ones that that say you know you take your health for granted but I think too they take for granted money people that are wealthy they
take for granted their money or people that are you know blessed and and other ways it's easy to take it for granted so I think Saying you're grateful and coming into his courts with thanksgiving is so important and it really frames everything around you.

One thing to tie into the money thing, you know, when Jesus gives a parable and said it's harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God than it is for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle.
And then you can look through the...
People look through the early Hebrew and the eye of the needle can mean different things.
But basically, it's really hard.
It's because people are so anchored to this world.
You know, the fallen world.
Instead of being anchored to Jesus.
You know, because this world is like sifting sand.
You build on this world.
And it will crumble.
Nothing here will last forever.
But there is one thing that will last forever is when you build a relationship with Jesus, when you build your life on the rock, on the solid rock of Jesus, because the storms will come, the wind will blow, and those who have built their life on the rock of Jesus, those are the ones that will prevail, that will stand, that will be left.
And so if you...

We didn't even know where we're going today.
So this is where we went.
But if you have...
If you don't have a relationship with Jesus or if you feel like we said something today that prompts you to grow deeper...
I would say that that's excellent and do that.
And Ryan and I, we've been actually talking about we've got to spend more time reading the Word together and praying together, which we do pray together, but we need to spend more time doing that and more time alone in our secret place by ourselves with the Lord.
And so we felt that since the crusade and then we started helping Some of our friends created a new church and they've been talking about that there and just really pushing us.
And so we never arrive, right?
You never arrive in your marriage or you shouldn't.
You should never arrive.
You should always want to go deeper and go to a better place.
and same thing with the relationship relationship with the lord and so ryan ryan ryan he likes to grow deeper with the lord playing the guitar or pretend to because he likes to drive me crazy playing the guitar all the time Thank you.
