Thank you.
Thank you.
Hey, guys.
I hope you are doing well.
I felt like it's been a long time since I've been in front of the camera, but I had trips that was going on with my son and some family in town, so I apologize for not getting my shows out on time like I normally do.
But this week we should have three episodes to make up for The Missed One this weekend.
And I hope all you guys are doing well.
I really love all the emails that you guys have been sending me.
Thank you so much.
And even past and previous clients are calling because they understand there's a market meltdown happening as we speak.
And they just simply enjoy principal protection.
So legal disclaimer here.
I am a securities advisor.
I am financially or financial advisor.
I will not be discussing investment advice and everything on this podcast is not investment advice and should be used as informational educational purposes only.
If you would like We can set up a time that you and I can speak with myself or one of my consultants and we will be able to help and assist you.
Just wanted to have a discussion.
I got some exciting news.
I'm bringing on a new money manager.
They're a biblically responsible money manager.
Speaking with him yesterday, actually before I discuss that, I actually want to talk about some client phone calls I've had this past week.
We've had questions about what banks should we be putting our money in?
We're retiring in the next few years.
What should we be doing?
We talk about that multiple times every single week.
And more importantly, what's going on in the economy.
So I just wanted to kind of give you...
Just my opinion on what is really going on.
And the bricks.
There's a lot.
Man, there's so much to talk about.
And I'm glad that I have other podcasts to follow because I won't be able to finish everything in one podcast.
But more importantly, I want to just sound alarm.
You guys heard me for years now, literally, talk about you don't even know what you're funding.
Sometimes I don't even know what I'm funding.
So it's very difficult, even for us, me, the advisor, to understand that, hey, there is a huge screening process that we need to be doing.
So what that means is...
An example, I've had clients call me and say, hey, did you get my statements?
Can you look at my portfolio?
Am I doing things right?
And the first thing I see is that all their money is in a stock market.
I'm not saying the stock market is bad.
I own stocks.
I own ETFs.
However, If you are comparing...
And the calls are like, I want to know what your portfolio is doing.
I want to compare apples to apples.
And how much did you lose last year?
Well, our portfolios were down last year.
Our managed portfolios, not our green money counts.
And they get in this like...
All of a sudden, it's all about performance.
Oh, well, my portfolio only lost 15% when the market was down 20%.
Well, great.
All right.
And then the year before that, we were up 32%.
What'd you do?
And I just stopped him right there.
Because if you're seeking performance...
I am not your guy.
You can just stop this podcast and move on.
Please.
I'm not your guy.
I am not going to sell out to performers.
Because you know what?
Alcohol, pornography, abortion, all that does well.
It does well.
Drugs, LGBT legislation.
All that stuff does well.
I'm not going to try to outperform it.
AI software to take your freedoms away.
Yes, you want to make money?
Invest in those sectors, in my opinion.
But I'm not going to do that here, man.
So do not call my office and say, oh, well, it's not performing well.
Because I don't want to invest in sinful things.
I am not going to sell out.
I could have sold my book of business years ago for millions of dollars.
I'm still here, guys.
I'm still paying.
Literally paying to get production done for this podcast so that I can deliver content.
I do not want to sell out.
Period.
And I just...
I want to give you guys the truth.
So when people call and they ask, Oh, so what do your performance tables look like?
Your history?
I get that you're about rate of return.
But also that screamed to me that you're greedy.
Like, you're greedy.
I mean, that's what you're seeking.
Because...
Do you trust God's word or do you trust your bank account more?
That's the question here.
Do you trust what God says in His Word?
That He'll never leave you, He'll never forsake you.
That in Malachi 3, He says that as long as you're giving to me the firstfruits, I will take care of you.
The blessings will be so much, I will pour out.
You will not be able to withstand all the blessings.
It will pour out of your cup.
Your cup will overfill.
Do you believe those scriptures?
Or do you believe the performance of your bank account or your accounts?
That is something that you will have to answer.
But for those of you that actually give a darn about where your money is at, I got some eye-opening stuff for you.
I want you to go to the link below and it's called inspireinsights.com.
My new money manager is a biblical-focused Money manager, we're bringing on, so all you gotta do is contact our office, and we can get you plugged in away.
This was so eye-opening.
Eye-opening for me.
And we're gonna go through some examples of the call-ins.
When I was looking at these statements, I saw Amazon, I saw Chevron, I saw all these stocks, and I started screening them.
And a lot of clients say, well, how do you know they invest in LGBT? How do you know they invest in abortions and pornography?
And this is one of the ways I can find out.
So we have money managers that go deep, deep, deep into the company's mission statements.
They look at everything.
They look at employee handbooks if they're available online, if they're public.
They look at what their mission statements are.
I mean, they look deep.
They screen them deep.
And there are other biblical responsible money managers, but they start showing slack when it comes to abortion and LGBT. Now, if you're a God-fearing person, and if you love the Bible, we do not believe in LGBT. We don't believe in abortion.
There's always adoption.
My grandmother was raped, and I had a half-black aunt.
At 11, 12 years old, she had the baby.
And I love Teresa.
She was great.
She was one of the best aunts that could ever live.
And she had a beautiful family, which are my cousins to this day.
I don't believe in abortion.
I'm sorry.
Even if your kid is mentally handicapped.
You're going to kill the baby?
I just don't believe it.
Give it up for adoption.
I understand you can't afford it.
I understand that you want to give it a better environment.
Maybe it was an irresponsible choice.
That is not the baby's fault.
That's what I stand.
And so do these money managers stand.
But some people would rather invest in GE that creates abortion medical devices.
And they, I mean, it's, guys, it is so serious, like, what these people are doing.
It is absolutely crazy.
Hang on, let me verify something real quick before I misspeak.
Yes.
So I misspoke on GE.
I believe they used to have medical devices for abortion.
I did remember reading that with another provider.
But yeah, they're basically...
They're basically into LGBT philanthropy, in vitro fertilization, and LGBT legislation.
And it has a negative score of negative 54.
So what this scanner does, it gives positives like military, invested in America, just a lot of neat things, animal testing, nuclear positions.
So a lot of the positives are really good.
So...
I will discuss that here in a minute.
I really like the screener because you really don't even know what you're investing in.
So the problem that I'm having, the problem that I see in all of Wall Street is there's three problems.
And I've said this before.
The first problem is the spiritual side of your money.
We want to honor God in everything that we do, in our lives, In our health, in our finances, the way we live out.
We know that iron sharpens iron.
We change our associations.
We change our habits.
And we should be doing that on a constant basis.
And actually seeing where we can add God more into our lives.
For many of you, you're already there.
For many of you.
But for a lot of you as well, there needs to be some improvements.
You want the blessing of God's blessings, right?
Malachi 3.
You want Him to provide for you.
You want Him to heal our land.
But everybody wants a wedding...
But not the marriage.
We have to put in work, guys.
It's not like, hey, God, I'm going to get on my knees and bless me.
Bless me.
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
Me, me, me, me, me.
You sound like my old four-year-old.
That's how he...
I mean, it sounds like a four-year-old, right?
So, what I'm getting at is there's so much only give and take that God will allow with his free will, but if we're not using our daily habits, how is God going to bless our work?
How is he going to bless our tithe?
And, you know, I know there's a lot of mailbox Christians.
They just send a check every single month.
Don't even go to a place of worship.
Don't even fellowship with their brothers and sisters.
They're not active in their church.
They just send a check.
And I'm sorry you're going to have to do more than that.
I mean...
If you are divorced and you paid and you never saw your kid and you just sent the mailbox money to this kid and he went through med school, he went through law school, he went through K-12 and you were never there.
He only counted on the money financially.
How much of a relationship could you have with that child?
Would there be resentment there?
Will he be calling someone else dad?
And not mailbox money dad.
So why are we treating God like genie in the bottle when it comes to our finances and everything?
We only want God when things bad happen to us.
Well, if you don't have God in your life, you're going to have a lot of bad stuff happening to you all the time because you don't have that protection, that Malachi 3 protection, right?
You're not picking up the sword.
You're not sharpening your iron.
You're not having those daily habits.
And it shows.
It shows in your health.
It shows in your wealth.
It shows.
When you don't have that spiritual connection with God, when you don't have your daily habits in order, it shows, guys.
And where the number one place it shows is in your finances.
I get to see it.
I get to see all the worry and the concerns and the triggering and people motivated by money.
And when I'm worship leading at my church, sometimes I'll even stop and I'll just ask the question, do you really mean these words or is it Christian karaoke?
And I have to be careful, but there are some other one-liners I can say, right?
Do you trust your bank account or God's word more?
And it really hits home because we want to trust both.
But really one is more more lean or what you're weighing more on one side or the other and that's just our human Mindset we got to get past that we got to get past that and trust God's word even more So when it comes to Wall Street in and your money There's three problems and I've said this multiple times the first problem is a spiritual side of your money number two Is a drawdown protection of your money and number three is They're sending money over to other countries
We want to build America.
So number one, we want to align our investments according to God, country, and family that is biblically responsible, that is ethically responsible, and that is obviously patriotically responsible.
That message may not be for you, and that's okay.
And there's no judgment.
But I at least want you to know what you're funding.
So check this out.
I'm going to pull up some screenshots here.
So here's GE. GE has a negative 54 score.
They fund LGBT philanthropy in vitro fertilization.
We don't need to be playing God and also LGBT legislation.
So not only are they giving to the LGBT community, they want it in the law.
They want to legislate it.
They want to provide equal rights, Man and man, woman and woman, just as much as man and woman.
That's what they stand for.
And if you believe in that, invest in GE. If you are in GE and don't believe in that, give us a call.
We want to restructure your portfolio so you're not funding this darkness.
So let's look at another one.
This is actually pretty fun.
Forgive me, guys.
I'm on my phone, so I may get distracted with text messages and stuff, but I promise I will stay focused here.
That was GE. We just did GE. I have several here, guys.
You can have fun with this.
Have fun with it.
The number one company that people invest in when they call in my office, believe it or not, is Bank of America.
Bank of America, let's look at their score.
Negative 7 by Insights, inspired.
LGBT philanthropy, abortion philanthropy, abortion promotion, LGBT legislation.
So not only do they want to fund killing babies, they want to change the law for women's choice and that whole woke agenda.
They want to put it in law to kill babies.
Period.
Period.
Bank of America, if you have a Bank of America account, you are funding that, my friend.
How does that make you feel?
Is it still about performance?
Is it still about performance?
Do you care that you made 20% rather than 11%?
God will never question God would never question how much you've made.
He'll only question the character it took to make that money.
And if you innocently bought Bank of America, that's another deal.
But if you have the choice right now, my brother, my sister, you are in sin.
You are in sin.
You're funding this garbage.
My old firm, Ameriprise, I used to work for these idiots.
They fund LGBT legislation.
This is not a conspiracy.
This is actual fact.
LGBT. Right here on this website.
Holy smokes.
Pro-LGBT. Chevron.
LGBT philanthropy.
LGBT legislations.
Not only do they want to fund it, they want to make it into law.
Another top stock that people call me with is Microsoft.
LGBT philanthropy, LGBT promotion, abortion philanthropy, abortion promotion, LGBT legislation.
They want to put killing your babies and butt sluts into law.
Sodom and Gomorrah.
That's what you're funding in.
Okay, well, Carlos, I don't like Microsoft because of Bill Gates, and I voided Disney, I voided Amazon, I should be a good.
Well, what's in your wallet?
Is it Visa?
Well, guess what?
You are doing that too.
Exploitation, and I'm guilty of this.
I have a Visa card.
I have a Visa debit card.
So, I am going to be edified and look at different alternatives.
Exploitation.
Holy smokes.
LGBT legislation, LGBT philanthropy, LGBT promotion.
As you are seeing a pattern here, and for those of you, for those of you that call me and say, hey, the performance guys, you know, what'd you guys do last year?
Because my Fidelity Contra Fund, you know, Carlos, I really like you.
You're with Stu, and I really like your stance.
But when it comes down to do Christian stuff, you guys don't do Christian stuff.
Like, quit being fake.
Be freaking real, man.
Like, don't call me and say, oh, I want to do this, but, you know, I believe in abortion, and then you do other stuff.
I can't stand it.
I don't want you as a client.
Please don't call my office.
Fidelity Contra Fund.
You know.
I'm spreading this right now.
You know.
Exploitation.
Pornography.
Abortion faciants.
LGBT philanthropy.
LGBT legislation.
Abortion promotion.
LGBT promotion.
Abortion philanthropy.
Yes, that fund does make money.
And I'm not recommending it.
But if you want to make money with blood, go ahead.
That's your decision, and that's your conviction.
I'm just saying, for me, in my house, it's a no-go, dog.
It's a no-go.
And yes, I know how to make money in the markets.
I know which...
I just know.
I know how to make money in markets.
It's not going to come at the expense of killing babies or pillow-biting butt pirates.
I don't want that agenda.
It is disgusting.
It's satanic.
So, the Fidelity Contra Fund, a lot of people call me with that and say, I've been having this for years.
Well, Do you believe?
And I ask them, do you like gay?
I mean, do you like the gay agenda?
Do you like killing babies?
No, no, no.
I would never do that.
Well, your money is saying something else.
I don't know if this is hitting with you guys, man, but this hits home for me.
I got convicted.
Guys, I buy stuff on Amazon.
I'm supporting abortion.
I bought Lululemon.
They send their employees off and fund abortions.
I like these brands.
I like the technology.
I do have to change.
I have a visa in my wallet.
I gotta make some changes personally.
I'm not judging you.
I'm in sin just like you are.
I'm a sinner.
I need Christ in my life.
I need to change some more things.
I've changed so much over the past three years.
From nearly dying to getting almost bankrupt to being sued with a Bitcoin scandal.
You can look it up.
It's public information.
Yeah, man.
You've got to make changes.
You've got to make changes.
You can't be this multi-millionaire and be blessed and have this financial...
A financial heaven that you are possibly thinking of, financial peace, and still funding this garbage.
No, man, you've got to make changes.
You've got to make changes in your tithe.
You've got to make changes in your fitness.
You've got to make changes in your family.
You've got to make changes in your finances.
It's the four pillars that I've always spoke about.
When we had my buddy Skylar on it, the founder of Rise Up Kings, he's telling you about that mindset.
Well, this is part of it.
This is part of it.
I don't want to fund these things.
And so what my message today is, I'm excited that we are going to be more biblically responsible with our approach.
I knew it was bad.
I didn't think it was this bad.
Like, these are common stocks people have.
Common stocks.
And we're funding abortion.
We're funding ESG. We're funding LGBT. Not just LGBT movement, but the law.
That affects your children for generations to come.
The law, like, curriculum.
Like, this is going in school curriculum.
I told my wife, I'm pulling my kids out of my school, out of their school, and we are going not just private, but we're going Christian private.
I mean, this is serious.
This completely changed the game for me, guys.
Like, I am, I have been sinning all across the board.
I have been guilty of all this, not knowing that I've been funding this.
And I apologize wholeheartedly.
I apologize wholeheartedly.
I'm going to do whatever it takes to correct this.
I'm going to do whatever it takes to shed light into a darkness.
So I go back to my three things, right?
The problem with Wall Street and your money is, number one, is that spiritual problem.
Well, there's more of a spiritual problem than I really thought.
Number two is to draw down protection.
How are we protecting your money?
What is the standard deviation?
And number three, how are we staying in America?
How are we not funding China and Russia and all these other countries?
It goes really deep.
And so with our process...
We're implementing a biblical filter in our process, which is the spiritual side of our money.
We want to honor God in everything that we do.
If you really believe that, then you probably are a great fit for us.
We want to honor God in everything that we do.
Give us a call, 813-448-3446, or visit us online at CortezWM.com.
Some others here.
Let's see.
So yeah, I already spoke about the Fidelity Contra Fund.
So check this out.
Amazon has a negative 100%.
They are just completely flamboyant.
I mean...
As of 7-11-2023, not only do they fund pornography...
But I'm going to read this real quick, this graphic, if we can show the Amazon graphic.
As a social media platform, Amazon Twitch is rife with sexual harassment, predatory grooming, child sex abuse.
As an online retailer, Amazon is in the business of selling incest-themed porn, sex dolls, photographic books of erected-sized child nudity, pornographic magazines, and more.
As a media creator, Amazon Prime inserts unnecessary grosses nudity and simulates sex scenes into such of its original programming while providing family parental controls.
Amazon S3 and Amazon Web Services also hosts to thousands of hardcore violent, pornographic, and prostitution websites.
This is facts, guys.
This is facts.
They are advertising during the Super Bowl.
They're advertising.
Our kids use Amazon.
There's children that use Amazon.
I mean, it is bad, man.
It is so disgusting.
And guess who was an Amazon freak during COVID? Before COVID, actually.
Me.
I bought all my hockey gear.
I became lazy.
I didn't want to go to the store.
I just Amazoned everything.
So I'm asking publicly to forgive me.
And I'm going to just say a quick prayer right now.
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you with dirty hands, Lord.
I come that your Holy Spirit will just edify my soul.
Lord, that you can speak the truth to people.
And Lord, that we can have a relationship with you, Lord.
We know that money is just a tool to get us to the next place.
And Lord, that you give us currency to utilize so that we can push your agenda.
But right now, God, we've been pushing Satan's agenda.
And right now, I publicly ask for forgiveness.
I ask, Lord, that the blood that you shed on the cross redeems us all.
And Holy Spirit, please insert your wisdom.
Help us to build daily habits with our faith, with our fitness, with our families, with our finances.
God, in every aspect, Lord, your word says you'll never leave us, you'll never forsake us.
But more importantly, God, we want to lay this down.
Because I honestly feel that there's not a lot of options to honor you and what we do.
But God, I just thank you, Lord, for your grace.
I thank you, Lord, for your spirit.
You are the strongest creator of all times that will ever, ever be.
But yet, people marvel at your grace.
I thank you, Holy Spirit, for just loving us.
And I publicly confess I'm a sinner.
I publicly confess that Sometimes I feel I'm not even worthy, but you are, God.
And I just pray anyone that's listened to this podcast, Lord, that they can accept you as their Lord and Savior, that they don't have to seek validity from humans.
Lord, that we can honor you so you can honor us before your Father.
In Christ's name, we ask for forgiveness.
We ask that you can bless us in these new habits that we're creating and that we can be edified by your spirit, God.
We welcome you, Lord.
In Christ's name we pray.
Amen.
Anyways, I just felt like I needed to pray because I just got disgusted with all the stuff that was coming at me earlier today while I was researching for this podcast.
I hope this hits home for you.
I hope this hits home.
And for those of you that have Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, ask your current advisor.
Am I funding LGBT? Am I funding abortion?
Am I funding China?
There's nothing wrong with that.
And I promise you, he won't even know.
I've been in the business for 15 to 20 years.
I don't even know this stuff.
Like he probably doesn't even know or maybe he doesn't even care.
Like Wall Street doesn't care about this stuff because they know the only thing you care about is performance.
At what expense?
Eh, who cares?
Guys, it's time to shaping up.
Quit asking for blessings when we're just sending mailbox money to the church.
Quit demanding God to...
Quit demanding God to demand blessings.
Quit asking Him for stuff when we're funding this garbage.
That's my message today, guys.
We really need to get serious about this.
If you want change in this country...
If you want to have what it says in Corinthians, for my people will stop and humble themselves and seek my face and repent from the wicked ways, then I'll heal their land.
This is what he's talking about.
Like, we just got to stop and smell the roses, baby.
What's more important?
Is it the performance on your money?
Or is it at the expense of killing a baby or a mentally retarded baby?
Or is it the money that you're going to spend on something that you don't even care about wreckishly to impress people you don't even like or don't even like you?
This is where the rubber meets the road, guys.
It's always in the finances.
I pray that That you can open up your heart to Christ because it is more about money.
Money is just like a vapor.
You cannot die with it.
You're not going to leave with it.
It will go away.
I can go on and on, guys, and I don't want to ramble, but my message is we are going to fix this.
We're going to have a solution.
