Well, it's time that we check in with our wealth and finance and econ expert, Carlos Cortez.

Carlos Cortez is here to discuss what's the latest going on in our economy, what's the latest going on with the government shutdown, with the banking system, the upcoming financial collapse, and so much more.

How are you?
Hey, Deanna.
I'm doing good.
Awesome.
All right, good.
So first of all, this government shutdown, what's going on?
What's the latest with this government shutdown and why is it happening?
It's a great question.
I have two words.
Fossil fuels.
No one's talking about it.
As soon as stupid-faced Biden got into the office, the first thing he did was what?
He cut off the fossil fuels.
We're now experiencing the remnants of that terrible mistake two and a half years ago.
The truckers don't want to truck drive.
People don't want to ship goods.
Businesses are failing or they're hurting right now because everything's so expensive.
And if you mess with the truckers, you basically are messing with all of America.
And people can't even afford groceries.
You know, like last time you went to the store, you probably got your feelings hurt because you probably bought a week worth of groceries for Three times more than what it is.
They keep saying inflation is at like 7% or 8%.
Last year it was 9%, the year before that was 8%.
And now this year it's cooled down to 4%.
We all know that's not the true inflationary numbers.
It's more like 25% to 28% petroleum and food.
So the thing that your listeners need to understand, and my listeners understand as well, that Whatever they say, the consumer price index is really not the true inflation number.
They take petroleum and fuel out of the consumer price index, and then they give you the inflationary numbers.
They give you all the numbers that you want to hear.
I can't even go to the grocery store without...
You get a handful of groceries, and you're like, wow, this is just a handful of groceries.
It's not going to be much.
It's not going to be very expensive.
Boom.
A hundred, couple hundred dollars later.
And I always am in disbelief.
Like, how did that cost so much?
How did that possibly cost so much?
It was like butter, eggs, milk, and a few things.
You would think I'd be walking out with like 15 bags of groceries for the price that I'm paying now.
And the average American can't afford it.
It's bad, man.
My heart goes out to single moms out there, people that have to work two or three jobs, and it's just not the American way anymore.
And unfortunately, this is what Trump was talking about.
You want to do what?
You remember that one scene?
He's like, you want to do what?
You want to go green energy?
And it's just not going to work.
So the good news is...
This whole green energy movement, it's not going to work.
It's not going to work.
Like, just even in China, in China, or the Brazil, Russia, India, and China, The BRICS nations, they're building this Beltline Road incentive map.
You can look it up, and basically it's a Panama Canal to connect all these countries.
Well, that's not going to work because Brazil will never turn its back on America because we feed them.
Russia is getting their ass kicked by Ukraine in the fake war, and they need ammo, and you don't have a country if you don't have a defense.
China, that's a whole other...
Derogatory sentence.
They don't even have a pulse right now.
They're in shambles.
So the BRICS nation and the BRICS is not working out.
And so they're needing all these countries to join this union.
Because India has pulled out of the BRICS nation.
They're actually with Japan, Australia, us, and the UK. It's called the Quad.
And the Quad, the only China accountable.
So they already have an assembly, a forum, to get the BRICS dismantled and make sure that China is in compliance.
So there's a lot of stuff geo...
Politically.
Yeah, that is basically in the background, on top of our inflationary period, high rising interest rates.
People aren't buying mortgages.
They can't afford groceries.
Credit card debt is out of control.
And what happens is, Deanna, is that since people don't have side hustles or they don't have a second job or they don't want to work a second job because family is more important, they max out their credit cards.
Exactly.
And so the rising interest rates are crushing them.
We are no longer solvent as Americans.
And so the rising interest rates have created an abysmal negative effect to small business owners because they can't afford to buy inventory and they can't afford to bring on more employees.
And they're not making as much money because those margins are going.
So you're going to see the economy just get We're good to go.
A lot of things going on, but more importantly, what does that have to do with clients and their money?
You just got to protect your money right now.
I mean, you got to put it in a vault almost, like a safe money bucket, your retirement, your IRAs, your 401ks.
You got to come up with a strategy.
And that's what we've been doing, Deanna, is helping clients protect their principal, making sure they're ready for a financial drawdown, a financial collapse.
We don't want to be China.
The good news about America is we still have our Second Amendment, and they will never take that away.
And we have capitalism.
China doesn't have capitalism.
They are so bad right now because of the post-COVID, not mandates, but policies really didn't work.
This is why CARE Act is trending.
The CARE Act, as you know, there was a trillion dollars.
I was pumped up in Trump's presidency.
That was a good thing because People spent money.
Whether they used it on weed or Air Force Ones or actually responsible, like the malls were filled with people that shouldn't have been in the mall, if you know what I mean.
But a lot of people would disagree and say the CARES Act hurt us.
But your opinion is that it helped us?
Well, it hurt us because, unfortunately, our children are going to pay for it.
Yes, that is true.
But it also gave us a short-term boost and a little bit of protection because if we had a complete, complete, complete lockdown where there are virtual businesses that were shut down, it would have been bad, even worse now.
Because now the feds are playing catch-up to rise interest rates to To keep up with the economy and the banks are struggling.
So yeah, the banks is another issue.
So every time they raise interest rates, so banks, what they do is they make money when they lend your money.
So when you deposit, when you cash out your gold and deposit in your bank account, They already have spent that money.
They've lent it out to someone else.
They have the right to lend it.
So they give you a certificate, a deposit, saying, hey, we are going to lend your money out.
We're going to use your money to make money.
And by the way, we're going to keep that money in treasuries.
The problem is when rising interest rates happen, the treasuries lose money.
And when you have a large cash withdrawal of 10 grand or more, they say, no, we can't do it.
Because they've lost 30% on that money.
They don't have the ability to pay you back.
Because they will lose.
That's why you see all these bank failures.

I particularly like State chartered banks instead of these big banks like Wells and Chase.
These are FDIC banks.
They have implemented a FedNow program, as you guys know.
The FedNow is tracking and tracing and controlling your bank accounts.
They have access to them.
And you have 110 banks that are raising their hands and saying, yes, yes, we want to comply and we want to Help you, Mr.
Government, look at all of our customers.
These guys bought bacon, eggs, diapers, Similac, and ammo.
How dare them?
Let's call child services.
I mean, it's crazy what's going on.

It is trending because Many reasons.
It is hurting us long-term, but we're paying more money to immigrants that are crossing our border than to actually people that really, really need it, like single moms or teachers or workers or everyday blue-collar people that actually need the income because the interest rates in the environment is just ridiculous.
Inflation is ridiculous right now.
Right.
There's a secret Fed bailout happening right now, and it's looking like 2008 all over again.
Banks are collapsing, executives are taking fat bonuses, and the White House is running to their rescue.
While regular people are struggling.
We can't pay our bills.
We can't fill our tanks with gas.
And suddenly, Biden has the nerve to bail out wealthy Americans again.

We are.

Yeah, it's interesting too about the tracking and tracing.
Remember when January 6th happened, the Bank of America, Bank of America, which obviously millions of people around America bank with Bank of America, they were tracking and tracing people that were in the vicinity of the Capitol in D.C., On and around January 6th.
I mean, how crazy is that?
That they were tracking and tracing people around that vicinity and who were around that area.
What business do they have to do that?
What right do they have to track where you were during a certain date?
I mean, a total violation, I would think.
Yeah.
Well, they...
But that's going to become more common, right?
Yeah, yeah.
So there's...
And this is what I encourage people to do.
When they open up a checking account or if they already have a checking account...
Call your bank and ask them, hey, what is the adoption agreement?
What is my account agreement?
Look at the account agreement and you'll see that they have provisions in there.
Now there's behavior provisions.
We've seen that with Candace Owens being shut down by PayPal.
We've seen that with Dr.
What was his name?
Mercola.
Chase shut him down.
We've seen it with Laura Loomer.
Yep.
Lord Loomer, we've seen it with the Christian ministry.
Wells Fargo shut them down with the Christian ministry helping a Christian ministry in Uganda.
They shut them down.
They debanked them.
They want to debank conservatives or anyone that goes against Because the whole goal is they want to implement a social credit score.
They want to have an oligopoly of banks, fewer or more banks that comply with the federal government, and they want to track, trace, and control you.
You implement that with smart cities like St.
Pete.
They're all about this smart city here in Florida where they're going to have lightning poles that scan your face, and they have this This weaponized lighting that they can smack you with infrared and lightning and control you and get you in a certain way.
It's disgusting.
Is St.
Petersburg turning into a smart city?
I didn't know that.
Yeah, they want to.
What about Trump talking about freedom cities?
The freedom cities he's talking about.
Is that just another fluffy term for smart cities?
Or do you think that's actually different?
You've heard him talking about these?
I really don't have an opinion on that because I haven't heard that, but as long as I have a source of water and my 5.56 and AR-15 in my guns, that's a freedom city in my eyes.
No one's not taking my second amendment.
And so, look, you may not have been vaccinated.
Maybe you're smart enough to not get vaccinated.
I applaud you.
But now you've got to take it a step further.
Because they're going to financially inoculate you.
They're going to do it.
And you got to be very, very careful on where you put your money.
Look up, if you're listening to this, look up state chartered banks.
I don't like FDIC. I personally don't like the federal mandated banks because state chartered banks are ran tighter and better and meaner and cleaner than the federal accepted banks like the FDIC banks.
Completely, completely different from what people...
And my industry would say that they would call me a tinfoil hat and this guy's ridiculous and he's misinformation, blah, blah, blah.
But I'm telling you, man, like the state ran banks are well, well more organized and prepared for things like this.
So no matter what state you're in, look it up.
If you want to use a Chinese website called Google, you can Google it or Bravo or DuckDuckGo.
Whatever your internet search is, just look up state chartered banks and then have a list and start interviewing them.
I think you'll be better equipped having your money because the problem is the commercial lending crisis, which I haven't even mentioned yet.
$400 billion of commercial real estate is coming due here in the next four and a half months by the end of 2023.
There's big corporations that are walking away from their buildings because they can no longer afford...
A refinance.
And so everybody's working from home.
Now the technology of screen, you know, checking in on your computer at home, the technology on adaptive keyboard stroking, they're watching employees work from home more than ever.
They don't need a Class A building in downtown Manhattan or downtown Tampa here I'm at.
They're literally walking away from these buildings because it doesn't make sense for them to buy a $100 million building.
Just look at AT&T building in Missouri.
$100 million building got sold for $4 million.
Wow.
Because they couldn't afford it.
Yeah.
These big corporations are not in the real estate game.
They can run without the building.
They're not in real estate.
Walmart doesn't own their Chase Bank, FedEx, Coca-Cola, Amazon.
They do not own their buildings.
All these corporations don't own their buildings.
They're smart.
They just rent it.
That way they can pivot wherever they want to pivot.
So they're in good hands, but there's a lot of corporations that own their building.
Thankfully, my building I bought commercially, but I bought it way before the rising interest rate hikes.
But we have that problem, and you're going to see people like the Airbnb holders.
There's going to be houses that are flooding the markets, which is going to bring prices down.
So people just got to get ready.
I don't think gold and silver is the only answer.
I think it's part of it.
Because a lot of people are just buying gold and silver.
And look, I'm a fan of it too.
I have it.
It's just not an investment.
It is run for the hills money.
Like, hey, I got to go.
The economy is going to hell in a handbasket.
My bank accounts are down.
I have gold and silver.
I have 100 grand and precious metals.
I think that's enough for me to last my family for a year if I ever needed to pitch a tent somewhere or something.
I hope we never get there, but yeah, it's a lot of stuff going on.
And so what I want to do is simply just give clarity, truth, and a peace of mind to our listeners that they no longer have to go to Main and Main Street in their district or in their town and speak with a woke advisor that they don't even have the financial or the economical or spiritual alignment with.
They have options.

Yeah, I feel that there is, and I'm talking about the liberal states, right?
The New Yorkers and the California.
Believe it or not, there's a lot of them that they no longer want to comply.
They're realizing, hey, this vaccine junk doesn't work.
This face mask junk doesn't work.
Even the mayor of New York, he's saying, we are getting ran out by illegal immigrants.
And he's blaming the Biden administration.
um they're not going to comply yeah they're not going to comply and that it's actually biblical to not comply and and so you got movies like barbie that teaches feminism and that men men are prettier than women i mean give me a freaking break like where's the masculinity and men now so it's it man it's disgusting what's going on but we um You need to not comply, financially and medically.
And if you're a business owner, do not comply.
So yeah, I don't see people complying to any lockdowns.
It is going to push technology further.
There's going to be more leniency on AI and Zoom and just kind of like virtual businesses.
So microchips and stocks like Zebra will do very well in these times, but that's a good question though.

All right, guys, why don't you tell everybody what your name is, your full name is, and, of course, where you're calling from.
Okay, of course.
For all your listeners, my name is Sean McHugh.
I'm from Auburn, California, but I'm currently sitting inside the D.C. Gulag for my participation and exercise in my First Amendment rights on January 6th.
And I just want to say thank you, Deanna, for having me on.
Well, it's a pleasure to have you on.
And I always ask you guys, how are you doing?
And it's such a stupid question.
But how are you doing?
I mean, I know you're not doing as good as I am, probably.
It's not a stupid question.
It's actually, you'd be surprised.
I'm actually sitting back, and I've got to laugh at the whole situation.
As bad as it is, we're in a clown world right now.
And so I'm making the best of it.
And I just got to keep telling myself, people have got to see what's going on.
And if not, hopefully, maybe I can enlighten some of your listeners to what is going on here in D.C. Yeah, why don't you tell everybody?
So first of all, how do you feel about this news that Ray Epps finally got charged after all this time with a single little slap on the wrist misdemeanor?
I don't even know if it's a slap on the wrist.
It's like a kiss on the hand, really.
It's like they're bowing down and kissing the ring of Ray Epps.
I'll tell you what.
I went to January 6th to have my voice heard and to support my president and hopefully see history being made.
And I ran into Ray Epps the morning of January 6th.
And he told me the plan.
He told me the plan to go to the Capitol.
And I didn't really think much of it because we're on the mall.
Everything's permitted.
The Capitol is actually, there's a Supreme Court ruling that the Capitol steps as First Amendment protected area.
So when Ray Epps tells me that we're going to the Capitol at 1 p.m.
no matter what, whether Trump's done speaking or not, we're going to the Capitol at 1 p.m.
no matter what, and we're going through the front doors, maybe I think he has a little hyperbole going on.
He wants to get people there.
Trump says he's going to be there.
Everybody's anticipating seeing Trump go to the Capitol or having our having our officials come out and speak you know on the stage so we didn't think anything of it I didn't think anything of it but I want to remind everybody the bomb the pipe bomb was found at 1 p.m.
sharp you know and that's when the first breach was made too and I wish I would have had high insight because from that point on all hell broke loose and I listened to the FBI interview with Ray Epps.
He told the FBI that there was going to be a bomb there that day, that he wanted to protect his kid that day.
There were text messages Ray Epps had saying that he orchestrated the whole event.
If I would have had a text message saying I orchestrated the whole event, I would have been strung up for conspiracy charges.
I mean, let's look at the Proud Boys.
They weren't even...Tario wasn't even there.
He got 22 years.
22 years with the terrorism enhancement, this guy is getting let off scot-free.
Guarantee he works for the feds in some way.
You know, the DHS, they don't have to tell you who their confidential sources are or who their agents are or anything as a matter of national security.
And he could be moonlighting for another agency.
It's very obvious that this guy was an agitator, and he had a plan to get people to the Capitol on a very specific timeline, and he's being let off with a kiss to the ring.
He's working for somebody.
So it's just very sad.
Yeah, clearly working for somebody.
Wow.
Sorry, go on.
Alright, I was just going to say, when you witness BLM and Antifa attack innocent people all summer and throw Molotov cocktails at federal courthouses and police cars and nothing happens to them, but you want to go see your president and you're with your mother?
I went to the Capitol with my mother and friend that day.
Of course I'm going to have some sort of protection on me.
I had bear spray on me.
And when you look it up on the Capitol website, it doesn't say that pepper spray or bear spray are illegal to have on the grounds.
And I honestly didn't know I was going to the Capitol that day, but I thought for sure that we were going to run in to BLM or Antifa that day.
And they actually were there that day.
They were there.
If you look at the case of Josiah Kenyon, he told the judge in open court that he was a communist supporter and he was dressing like a Trump supporter.
So that he could agitate the officers in hopes to get Trump supporters shot that day.
He was there.
And then Landon Copeland, he actually did end up getting people shot that day.
He's Antifa.
He was in our pod for a little while.
This guy named Landon Copeland, he told me he's been Antifa since 2004.
Well, he was the one that was pushing Christopher Quaglin into the police officers and started attacking the officers, which in turn Got them to shoot Joshua Black in the face.
I don't know if you recall the guy that had a hole in his face.
But I was right there watching him get shot.
And then when my mother screamed out in pain, of course, naturally I want to stop what's going on around me.
I let off some bear spray into the air.
And I was well, well away from these officers.
And that's why I felt it was okay to do it.
I backed the blue.
I'm not somebody who attacks officers.
I'm a business owner.
You know, I own my own business, McCue Construction and Electrical.
I back my local law enforcement.
I don't just go somewhere thinking that I'm going to attack officers that day.
But what you have here in D.C. where they turn Freedom Plaza into BLM Plaza and put Black Lives Matter on the road, what you have is BLM with badges.
And there's video evidence to support this.
They all show up to the Capitol that day and they say that they're going to go beat some racist butt.
Yeah.
And that they can't wait to kick our butts, you know.
It's very sad what happened that day.
And it was a setup, you know.
It was a setup.
And I'm going to say, for everybody that is on the fence or wants to condemn the violence of what happened that day, you know, the FBI and DHS and other agencies such as the Pentagon, they all knew about...
Planned protests and people chattering online about storming the Capitol.
You know, they sent in agitators to plant a pipe bomb and to capitalize on the situation of Trump supporters going to the Capitol and to go after Trump.
Absolutely.
Wow.
And how many years did you get sentenced to?
I got sentenced to six and a half years.
I went in Before my son graduated eighth grade, he's going to be 16 this year in November.
I'm going to miss his high school graduation.
So, I'll be able to make it for his college graduation, I guess.
That's just so heartbreaking.
I mean, You did nothing wrong.
Some people were touching a fence.
Some people got in prison for being friends with those individuals who were touching this mythical fence.
But it's just so vile.
Nobody did anything wrong that is being locked up.
And the only people that were the real agitators and planners, not locked up and won't be locked up.
It's just so vile.
They're destroying their life.
They're ruining families.
They are ruining families, and they're taking much more.
They're taking so much.
And my son is the real victim of this situation.
You know, he had to be taken out of school for a couple years.
He was on the honors program.
He was in the STEM class.
You know, he was accelerated in his academics, and he had to be taken out of that.
Not only were they shutting down businesses and things of that nature, my business almost got shut down during COVID. But my son's education had to be cut back.
Then they're going to take away his father for standing up for what's right.
You know, the government doesn't want you to do what's right anymore.
They don't want you to stand up and do the right thing.
And in fact, you're seeing that all over.
You're seeing it with Catholics, with anti-abortionists.
They want to lock you up for 10 years at a minimum and throw away the key.
Just for standing up for what's right.
And that's what our country's founded on, is talking back to the government.
You know, everybody thinks that this is going to fix itself and that we have this Constitution that's so alive and well.
We don't have it.
Unless you get out there and you exercise it, we don't have it.
Because I just sat in prison for two years while the judge told me that they're going to go ahead and just waive my time in the interest of justice.
We're due process, you know?
And where's the Second Amendment right?
Look at what just happened in New Mexico.
These people have an agenda.
It's not the Democrats.
It's not the liberals.
It's the left.
And they're here.
And I urge every one of your listeners to get up and get involved.
You know what?
God's not going to do it for you, but you can pray to God.
Pray that He gives you the strength to do what's right and get involved.

He served over in Afghanistan and Iraq.
He was an officer in New York.

And they gave him 10 years.
You got Ronald McAbee, who's a sheriff.
You got firefighters in here.
Why were all these people of service to their country, why'd they all make the wrong decision that day?
You can't tell me that we all made the wrong decision that day.
No.
We witnessed people like Ashley Babbitt get shot and her body drug away with no investigation by Michael Byrd, you know, or Roseanne Boylan get beat to death by Lila Morris, lying lifeless on the ground getting beat.
You got Kevin Griesen or Benjamin Phillips.
They're throwing flash grenades at us.
And these people get heart attacks because they're going off by their heads, you know?
With no explanation or warning at all, they started attacking people.
They lured us in there and they started attacking us.
My mother got sprayed in the face that day by Officer Tao.
She got knocked over by a big Trump sign.
That Ray Epps was pushing into the officers.
You know, there's over a dozen men that were charged for this sign.
I think Neif, Neif got, he actually got convicted of it by shoving this sign into officers.
They tried to convict me of it.
They ended up dropping it.
But, but there's video of Ray Epps doing this.
I know.
And they dropped it.
They give him a pleado.
They give him a pleado.
And this, this guy knocked over my mother.
And they tried to charge me with it by trying to push the sign away.
You just can't make this stuff up.
