JESUS. GUNS. AND BABIES. w/ Dr. Kandiss Taylor ft. Christi Maude

Time Text
But this is my business partner, one of my very best friends, Christy Mudd.
Welcome to Jesus Guns and Babies.
This is so surreal being on this end of the show.
Thank you.
Yeah, because you come on the show when you plan the whole show.
Christy does all the scheduling.
She gets all the guests.
She talks and does it all.
And so it's kind of weird.
That's like, oh, welcome to the show, Christy, that you helped do.
This is fun.
Talk about the scripture a little bit before we get started.
I love this one.
I've been diving into Romans this week.
And Brant and I were chatting about the scripture just yesterday.
And, you know, we have...
The Holy Spirit knows our weaknesses.
And sometimes pride can set in.
Sometimes feelings, emotions can set in.
And we don't even know how to pray or what to pray for.
But it's just...
The Holy Spirit knows how to pray.
And He makes intercessions so powerful and passionate for us that it's like groanings that you can't even understand.
And it just makes me feel so much more loved and valued for that reason.
And sometimes I get this visual when I read that verse of A person who is weak.
And I think of my niece who has Down syndrome, Mackenzie.
And she's so beautiful and I love her so much.
But sometimes she's talking and I can't understand her.
And so that's a weakness.
She doesn't have the ability to articulate her words.
And we can figure out things with mannerisms or pointing or what have you.
But my sister will...
It's her intercessor.
She'll come in and she knows exactly what Mackenzie's trying to relate to us.
And we're all like, oh, I get it.
You know, because Angie just knows her so well.
So the Holy Spirit knows us so well that he knows even our weaknesses and how to intercede for us.
So it's precious to me.
That's a wonderful metaphor, actually, that comparison that you made.
Because you're right.
He knows us even like we know our children even more so than we know our children.
And he knows God's will that we may not know.
We think we know sometimes, but we may not know.
But Holy Spirit knows.
And so he knows what to pray for.
And it's harmonious.
That's the goal of his prayers.
The utterances are so that it will be harmonious with God, with Yahweh.
And ultimately, that's what we want, but our flesh may not think of that.
That's not how we're thinking.
We're thinking of, well, this is what's supposed to happen, and this is what's supposed to happen.
And in a perfect world, this is how things are supposed to orchestrate.
But that's not how the Holy Spirit sees it.
And sometimes He allows us to go through things so that we will be harmonious with the will of God.
I like how you said Yahweh because last week we had a lot of patriots go to Atlanta to a state board of election meeting and there was a appointee from Brian Kemp, Governor Kemp, that is the chairman and he opened in prayer and I loosely say prayer because he prayed to all the gods.
It was very satanic, actually.
And not the Jesus Christ.
And he even said, any God.
Any God that you want.
And so when you said Yahweh, I thought, you're right.
It's Creator God.
It's Yahweh.
Talk about Jesus.
It's Yeshua.
And it is.
That's the Hebrew name.
But we know specifically who we're talking about.
And that's who we worship.
Creator God, Yahweh.
Definitely not all these randomness of God that was said in our state capitol.
I was appalled.
That's crazy.
I haven't heard that.
I would have felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to just stand up and rebuke that prayer.
Well, we want Governor Kemp to remove him.
Governor Kemp says he's a Christian, then your appointee to the state election board, who is the chair, should definitely not be praying to multiple gods in our state capitol.
So we have a whole group of people that's putting him on notice.
We want you to remove him from that seat.
Good.
Yeah, we're not going to tolerate it.
So let's talk, Christy, and let everybody know, because a lot of people that know us know how our relationship kind of happened and how we got where we are.
But let's talk about Jesus Guns and Babies and how that started and how our relationship started and kind of talk about what happened.
But before that, let's go back to, really, I want to go back to Liberty Water.
Yeah.
And how y'all got involved and why you're a patriot.
And Brian, your husband, who ended up being my campaign manager, and him being in the service.
And just your love for the country.
Can you just touch on anything you want to share there?
Sure.
Well, after the theft of the election, we were both upset.
We were crying out to God.
We were frustrated and angry.
And Brian, he's just very creative.
You know this.
He's extremely creative and his mind is always running 100 miles an hour.
You don't want to ask him, what are you thinking?
Because you'll get the lowdown.
Sometimes it's fascinating what he's thinking.
But sure enough, he had just this thought, this vision one night about a water company.
Calling it Liberty Water and having the Constitution, amongst many other historical documents, on QR code so that you can scan the back of the water and see all of our rights.
And when you learn what our rights are, you'll understand that they've been infringed upon.
And so it was just a passion, something that we felt like we could do.
Whenever, in the midst of sort of flailing, not knowing what to do at that time.
It was a precarious time for everyone.
So we did.
We set out and we found a location in Georgia to get the spring water.
It's really good water.
Several other bottles come from, name brands come from that same spring.
And so we started at Liberty Water and we also expanded to Mi Aqua and Caribbean Blue.
Beautiful labels.
But after, you know, probably six, nine months of doing this, we were doing really well.
But then everything shifted when they started charging astronomical prices for shipping.
But before that, so we had to kind of nix and pull back.
And now we're actually going to use that Miyagwa label in India, which is fascinating.
They wanted the Miyagwa label, and this is a whole thing.
It's going to provide disciples and Christians with money so they can continue reaching and spreading the gospel.
So it wasn't in vain.
But we met in South Carolina at a rally.
You and I met there.
And I met your beautiful daughter was there and your husband.
And I remember thinking, well, who's this pretty girl with a smile?
Because you were smiling at me and you're really sweet like you knew me.
And I'm thinking, well, I don't know her, but I really like her already.
That's because you were pretty.
And I was like, oh, this beautiful blonde, she looks like Barbie.
And I used to play Barbie dolls.
I had over 100 Barbie dolls, which is a lot, you know, in the 80s.
And I love Barbie so much.
And so you're like my real life Barbie doll, Christy.
That is so funny.
She's really pretty.
I like her.
I think we should be friends.
That Barbie discussion, that's another discussion too.
Yeah, yeah.
But so we were talking and I remember I had like all these donuts on the table and I gave them to Mail.
I'm like, y'all can have these because we've had a lot of extra donuts.
You didn't know she was a type one diabetic at the time.
I had no idea.
No, I had no idea.
I think Fitz and Ryan ate some of the donuts.
But I remember hearing you speak.
I liked you before I heard you speak.
But then I heard you speak and I thought, oh my goodness, she is saying what I am not able to articulate, but what I'm thinking.
And so you were literally like mouthing my words.
And I don't know how many times we heard that.
During the campaign, I know I heard it a lot, so I can only imagine how many times you heard it.
People telling you that you're like, you're in my head, like you're able to say the things that we're thinking and feeling.
And so it really resonated with me.
So I spoke with a few people that were working, I think, with the campaign.
I must have met somebody there.
I don't know, but I got involved a little bit with the campaign just by tapping into a phone call here or there.
And then it just sort of stormed from there.
And Brian, you know, he'd never really been involved in politics except in military politics.
And then it was like he's a strategist.
He is a man.
I feel like I needed a man because I'm a woman and I was running for office.
And I didn't want an all-female campaign.
I wanted like an alpha strong male.
And I had been praying for God to send me a campaign manager that was an alpha strong man.
And Brian heard you talking and you're excited and you're helping me schedule and do things.
And it's like, okay, I'm going to help her.
Let's do it.
And so then the campaign just took off after that.
It was amazing.
That is amazing.
I remember the first time that Ryan heard Bryant brainstorming.
And I had never seen Ryan pop on the screen during Zoom calls, but it was so funny.
I remember he just kind of came on the screen and he's like, yeah, yeah.
And he and Bryant just started talking and now they've been best friends ever since.
Well, they're kind of the same person and different bodies.
I'm creative and love Jesus.
And, you know, I think God definitely had like a tapestry where he just networked us together with people who believe like we do.
They just believe the word and the word is truth.
And that is morality.
And I was talking about this yesterday.
Christy, I spoke at an event.
I don't know if you listened to the video, but God just, the Holy Spirit just started speaking through me.
And I was just saying things that I had never said before.
Ryan said, when I think you can't think of new material, God just gives it to you.
I said, yeah, it was him, not me.
But one thing that was truth that he's kind of been dealing with me on is the Bible is true and every word's true and it is truth and morality comes from that and integrity comes from the word and people that think they can just moralities however they perceive things or you know they read the Bible maybe they interpret it differently that's not reality that's not right like the Bible is black and white morality and I think you know God,
He really networked us with people who see the word as truth and it resonates in their heart and they get passionate and want to save their freedom and their country.
He networked us with people all over the state and country.
We have people all over the country that we are friends with now that have the same fiber being essence that we do.
That's so true.
And none of that happens by accident.
It just doesn't.
That's how the Lord works.
We saw that constantly.
I remember you and I would thank the Lord constantly for the small miracles that we would see.
It was like a, and I think that he continued blessing your campaign.
With those little miracles because we saw it.
He allowed us to see and continue to give us grateful hearts so that we could see.
Even in our everyday lives, if you can't see the small things that you have To be grateful for and humble yourself to see that, then, you know, you're going to live in high anxiety.
You're going to live in constant fear.
You're going to be angry all the time.
Just try really hard to ask the Lord.
This is what I tell people that struggle with anxiety.
Just stay in a constant place of gratitude.
Yeah.
My pastor said this week, he said, if you don't see everything that you have and everything you possess, whether it's material or whatever, as from the Lord, then you're looking at it the wrong way.
Every blessing, everything we have is from him.
He gave it all.
He blesses people who don't even know him, but it's all from him.
Do you think the enemy, Satan, Lucifer, he would give you one thing that's a blessing?
Even one?
No.
Not one.
So everything you have that is a blessing, it came from God.
Even if you worked for it, He gave you the ability to work.
He gave you the ability to earn money.
So I think it is.
It's been in a state of gratitude and knowing where your blessings come from.
It really does.
And, you know, I learned that more so from my trips to India.
And we've, you know, stayed in some pretty, you know, the lowest of the low caste system, the untouchables.
We've even stayed with them.
I've slept on roofs.
I've been in their villages where they have absolutely nothing.
But they're so much.
They're grateful and they honor God and they sing with the beautiful, beautiful voices to God and they're so happy and joyful, you know, and then you come back and you come back to your closet full of clothes or your, you know, your refrigerator full of food and you say, I don't have anything to wear.
I don't have anything to eat.
And it's just perspective, you know?
It's perspective.
We have so much.
We have so much here.
Perspective.
That's really good.
That's wisdom, Christy.
Let's talk about, so the campaign was over in May of 2022, and we were just like a sucker punch.
Yeah, like the momentum we had, the thousands of volunteers, the Lord every day, and Him showing us miracle after miracle, and it was like unnatural.
It was an unnatural ending.
And so then we had this platform we built.
We all build it.
My name's on it, but we all build it with all these followers and people who are looking to us like, what do we do now?
And so you and I had a discussion.
It's like, do we do a show?
Do we do a podcast?
What do we do?
And then we kind of birthed Jesus guns and babies.
And I think we've made a teeny bit of money on it.
We've lost more than we've made.
In time, Lord.
But, you know, I think it's touched, you know, hundreds of thousands of people.
If you added all of our viewers, probably millions of views that definitely millions that we've reached over the past year.
We've been doing it a little over a year.
And we've met people we would never have met.
I mean, I think about some of the people we've had on.
I remember the one that really sticks out to me is Hercules.
So when you call me and you're like, I've got Kevin Sorbo coming on.
I'm like, who's that?
You're like, Hercules!
I'm like, Hercules!
I think I said Hercules and God's not dead.
And you're like, Hercules!
Is that really him?
Yeah, that was exciting.
What about you, Chrissy?
What was the one for you?
Oh my goodness, there's so many.
You know, I think one that really stands out is after the Roe vs.
Wade Just that ruling.
And believers were so excited.
And we were just, we were grateful.
Again, it's an attitude of gratitude.
You know, we were grateful.
We were realizing that this is, how many years of prayer had that been?
I mean, it'd been years of prayer.
And it was a wonderful thing.
But a church that I went to wasn't willing to speak up or say anything.
And it broke my heart, you know?
And so I remember leaving that church and I told Brian, I said, I'm going to find a pastor who is bold about this topic.
And within an hour, I told you too.
You did?
I told you too.
I'm going to find a pastor who's going to speak about this.
And within an hour, and I believe it was Philip Fields.
Yep.
I taught him yesterday.
Same!
Yeah.
He's looking that someone is...
He told me.
Yeah.
Looking for a church in your area.
Yep.
Yeah.
He's wonderful.
But I just...
I remember that distinctly because it was so important to me.
And the reason why the pastors, and I want everybody to understand because they can't read our mind, but the reason why the pastor at Christy's Church wouldn't talk about abortion, they didn't want to offend anybody if they'd ever had an abortion.
And I'm like, they need healing.
They killed their baby.
They actually plan to have a baby dedication and release their baby to God and forgive themselves.
We definitely need to talk about abortion with those people.
That's trauma.
The pastors are playing God because God can heal all things, even if you kill your baby.
Absolutely.
And these women need to hear that.
They desperately need to hear that.
Another thing that I heard, and it wasn't only the church I went to, but other churches, many churches, How can you reach someone for God if you're celebrating something over here while they're in that place?
And I'm thinking to myself, that is the craziest excuse I could possibly think of.
And me being the prophet, that's my gift, I immediately said that's a lukewarm position and God detests it.
And I don't think people like to hear that very much.
My husband always tells me, Brian's like, our whole marriage, we've been married 30 years this month.
He's like, honey, nobody likes a truth teller.
And that's unfortunate, but it's okay.
We do love truth-tellers when we seek the truth.
It hurts sometimes whenever we are living in sin or we're unrighteous or we're self-motivated and not in God's will.
People don't want to hear it because it calls you on the carpet.
But speaking of being a prophet, another wonderful thing that happened was Julie Green.
So we met Judy Green and had her on the show and have gotten to be good friends with her.
And, you know, so it's just Jesus getting the babies and we could keep, we could name all night, you know, people that we've had on that are celebrities and are very dedicated to the Lord and to the freedom in our country and made relationships with them, created relationships that are lifelong that we wouldn't have had otherwise.
Right.
It was a catalyst to other things.
And the Lord knew that.
He knew that.
And relationships are so very important to both of us.
But to you, you are...
Just such a relationship person.
And when you love and when you connect with people, you do it in a way that you don't see very often.
And that's why so many people were drawn to the campaign, because you're real and they could see that.
And they could see that it's not hypocrisy.
It's not, oh, I'm just saying this so that I can get more votes.
But that's actually who you are.
And I can say that because you're one of my very best friends.
You are who you are.
And we, you know, Christy, the good thing I feel like God's grown me in is that I can take criticism, too, from people that I, especially people that I care about and that I know love me.
So our campaign was so real.
It's like, Candice, what are you doing?
Like, don't do that.
Don't even worry about that or let that go and let's move on.
And we're just going to be honest and real.
And so we were able to, I think, go through minefields and not be blown up because we Stay true to who we were and true to the Lord.
And then our relationships were so strong.
Even when the enemy tried to destroy things, he couldn't.
No, he couldn't.
I remember when there was like infiltration and we knew that it was demonic.
We knew that it was negative and not from the Lord.
And we would pray over those things.
And what do you know?
Somehow it was just removed.
Yep.
Exited somehow.
And it was the captive in the Holy Spirit.
And then they'd come back and they'd say, we're sorry and we miss you.
We were sent.
We were paid by another opponent.
We were paid to hurt you and destroy you, but we actually love you and we were sorry.
We enjoyed the time.
Well, you know, it resonates.
People loved the camaraderie of it all, of like-minded patriots, of people who love Jesus, of starting a Zoom meeting with prayer.
Like, how often do you see that?
Ending it with prayer?
It was constant.
Just giving Him the glory all the time.
Yeah, because without him, nothing's worth having anyway.
We're not free.
We can fight for freedom.
I said this yesterday on the stage when I was speaking.
We can fight for freedom, but if you don't know Jesus, you're never free anyway.
That's so true.
We have to be in him, and that's where freedom comes from.
That's why we have a country.
We have a country that was founded on Jesus Christ.
There's no such thing as separation of church and state, even though they try to preach it.
I want to talk about some controversial things that we dealt with even in our life.
So we got through...
With a campaign.
Then the Georgia Black Guidestones were hit with lightning.
And we have, you know, all this news media frenzy going on.
And we're trying to start this show.
Like the same week, literally, that all that happened.
In fact, the night after I was swatted the next week, I came to your house and did two interviews like a zombie.
Because it was like I was running on adrenaline.
You came the next day.
Right.
Happy NFL night.
You know, there were times that I had to literally just repent from being angry because I remember, you know, when you have a close friend or a family member who is hurting, and you see the attacks from every direction, it's difficult not to take on a mama bear type role.
And it was painful for me to watch.
Others to make up things like, say that you're making something up or it's not that big of a deal.
And I remember the panic in your daughter's eyes when she walked in my house.
She'd been up all night and a gun was pointed up to her bedroom window.
I just remember seeing it on your face and what you guys went through and talking to you so early in the morning after this happened.
And it just, it broke my heart to see that you had to go through this You know, in the media, the hazing is pretty much what it was after you had just gone through what you went through.
And we came on to you because it was like, first of all, you know, Ryan was like, do you want to go?
I'm like, well, first of all, I need to be with Brian and Christy today because they're my people.
I need to be with them.
And, you know, sometimes...
And people, y'all listen to this.
Sometimes you need to be with your people.
And sometimes it may not be blood family.
It may be people that, you know, God gives you spiritual parents and they give you spiritual friends and he gives you people that can pour into you.
And Brian and Christy, I hope Brian and I pour into them, but they poured into us so much.
It was like, We have to go be with Brian Christie.
First of all, I need to be with them.
I need to talk to them about this and process this.
And then second of all, I needed to do something because I had all this adrenaline and it was like, let me just, I have two episodes to record.
Let's just go record them today because there's nothing else I can do with myself.
You know, it was kind of like one of those days.
And it was very rare to see even throughout the campaign to see you not honor a commitment.
You always honored a commitment.
There would have to be something real serious going on for me to have to change something in the schedule.
And, you know, there's an example right there.
You literally were swatted, your whole family went through hell the night before, and you still showed up to do two interviews the very next day.
I was like, she is stronger than I am.
I couldn't do it.
I've watched those interviews back and don't remember even doing them.
But that's how cortisol is, you know, it kind of protects your brain.
It's crazy how your body kind of protects itself.
So I wanted to talk about...
So we went through that thing with all of that.
And then we've been through so much with this transgenderism and the push there.
And I want to talk about what you endured in Savannah with the drag queen stuff.
And just between that and now we've got the Barbie movie and all of that.
And let's just...
Even, so you're fighting this enemy, this invisible enemy that uses people, because we fight against flesh, you know, we don't fight against flesh and blood, we fight against powers and rulers and doctrines and principalities, and, but it comes out in people.
And so you're fighting that.
And then you're fighting people who are supposed to be patriots and Christians too.
Like you're fighting both.
In every turn and people all have an opinion and they they get offended and then it's a big social media thing and so anyway start wherever you want to but I kind of want to go through some of that because you really your media has gotten bigger as you've helped the show and help with the campaign because you've made so many connections so people do look at you Christy and they kind of watch what you're doing and I think that's probably why things blew up so much for the drag queen issue.
Yeah, maybe.
I just remember the music leader at our church and his wife are friends of ours, Michael and Kayla, and they told me, they sent it in a text.
We have a group text, and they sent it to me, a picture of this particular show.
And I remember there's many times I've gone through Savannah.
I love Savannah.
And Bron and I are there all the time.
And I specifically remember looking often to see, are there any drag shows where children, family-friendly drag shows, whatever that is.
And I haven't seen any yet.
Of course, that doesn't mean they're not there.
It's a huge town.
But they sent this to me, and it was a family-friendly drag show at a restaurant that Moon River Brewing Company is a restaurant.
And I've been there.
I've been there with my kids to eat.
We ate burgers there.
And so I was shocked when I saw it.
And so I posted it, and I said, no, not in this town.
Not in my town.
And it blew up.
And...
I don't remember if I tagged anyone, but somehow, and I'm making a long story short, but I had two posts about it.
Somehow it blew up so much.
I think I tagged the restaurant.
But it was a drag club that was coming to a restaurant.
And apparently they've done it a couple of times before.
But I had so much clap back and so much hate.
And just threats.
And the name-calling is...
The thing about this is I probably would have lost my mind had I not been in the campaign and seen what you went through and what I went through.
Because I've got so many emails, hateful emails, because my email address was on the campaign.
Right.
I got probably a one hundredth of what you went through, but I saw it, you know, and I saw the stuff that you had to go through, and you shielded even me from a lot of it, too.
But it was, thank God I went through that.
It was almost like the Lord was kind of strengthening me, saying, okay, it's okay.
He's stretching you, Christy.
I guess so, maybe.
Sometimes we don't like that stretching, do we?
Well, we don't like being called a C four-letter word.
Horrible.
And that word, I don't know why, you know, it's a four-letter word starts with C. I'm not going to spell it because it's repulsive.
But that word is used by liberals when they're so angry.
And I'm like, it doesn't affect me for you to call me that.
Like, I know who I am, and I belong to Jesus, and I know exactly who I am.
But they throw that word.
And I just, I remember several of the things I saw that you were, like, deleting and blocking, using that word.
I'm like, what is up with that word?
It was constant.
And then they started to make fun of my God and Jesus.
So that was just over and over and over.
All kinds of things about how horrible pastors are in this case of child molestation and how horrible Christianity is.
And I'm worried about a drag person going to perform in front of children.
So they'll go and they'll attack your God.
And they'll attack you.
And so it was relentless.
And I knew that it comes in waves.
I knew that because I'd seen it through the campaign and working so closely with you.
But it doesn't feel like it when you're right in the middle of it.
And I remember one day in particular, I blocked about 600 people in one day.
It was insane.
They tell all their friends and then all the bots show up and then the bots are lifted.
I don't know how that algorithm works.
They share it with one of their groups that have like tens of thousands of followers or 100,000 followers.
Because I did something with the furries and said, you know, we're not going to have fairy tales in public education.
We're going to have reality and we're going to teach kids.
We're not going to have furries and litter boxes.
And the furries are little digital ninjas, and they just went ballistic.
And you know, so same kind of thing.
They had shared it to a group, and then all of them come, and then there are bots, too.
And so you're just blocking, blocking, blocking.
And you know, a lot of them are, when you go, if you take time out of your day, which you end up doing, it just, it's like an energy...
Sucker, you know?
You're looking at some of these pages before you block them, and so many of them had witchcraft on there.
Oh, I love them.
So many.
I love them.
Symbols and...
You know, it's crazy.
Anime.
Well, you know, the Japanese anime porn is where the furry movement started, and it's just demonic.
And, you know, we'll get hate on this video, too, I'm sure.
But, you know, Jesus loves them, and there's freedom in him, but they'd rather take the counterfeit.
And get the counterfeit to get immediate power and immediate whatever that they're getting.
And it's so sad.
I pray for them.
I would get angry.
Then I would start blocking them and saying, I plead the blood of Jesus over them.
Sit on free, Lord.
Sit on free, Lord.
I'm blocking, blocking, blocking.
I found that praying for them, I ended up stopping blocking because it was just, I couldn't keep up.
But I did find that it helped to pray as I was blocking towards the end there.
I think my mind got so just consumed with it, you know, that I should have been on my knees praying over the situation, then so concerned and just allowing it to affect me so much, you know?
So I did, I kind of shifted after about two days of the attacks, you know, I shifted a little bit.
It happened on Mother's Day.
You sacrificed that morning and went there.
Talk about how that fell out with the brewery company.
It got bigger and bigger.
You went on some media and talked about it.
It blew up.
I was going to go on media, but the funny thing is it was called off as he was getting ready to come over and interview me.
And so another guy was interviewing.
They put it out there.
They put all the information out there.
They put, you know, our pictures and whatnot, but they didn't come to me.
And I find out later that he sent a message and literally did it an hour later.
So he sent a message real quick to my Facebook messenger.
And you don't receive messages from people that you're not friends with unless you go on a hunt.
So that's terrible reporting.
It's terrible reporting.
It's purposeful.
Of course it is.
They took time to get in their car and go over to the restaurant and interview that guy in person, though.
Yeah.
So, you know, again, nothing shocks me because of, you know, the year and a half in the campaign and what I saw them do to you with the big, you know, news outlets, all of them, you know, same thing.
All the rags, Rolling Stone, Daily Beast, all of them.
Lies.
How can they just, it's just slanted and it's lies.
And we know that.
I mean, we know that obviously Trump is hated because he called that out.
Fake news.
But it's true.
Even in little things, it's so true.
They had the drag soap show, Christy, but it was so minuscule.
It was really small.
I took pictures.
We had a little group there.
I didn't invite a lot of people.
That was another thing.
They were making fun of our small group, but I didn't invite a lot of people.
I wanted some godly people there, a few godly people.
We got in the park across the street and we prayed.
We prayed really, really hard.
An interesting thing that we saw, my daughter pointed this out, is it was very dark.
We felt the oppression.
And if you get this, you get it.
There was oppression in the air.
We could feel a darkness in the air.
The enemy didn't want us there.
And something fascinating is that the gay pride flag was hanging and just waving, you know, right in front of the restaurant.
And we were on our knees praying in the park across the street.
When we got up, that flag was tangled up and stayed tangled up the whole rest of the evening.
And just little things like that, we kind of noticed, you know?
But we held our signs and we said, this is not for kids.
You know, that's pretty much what our sign said.
And I asked probably a hundred people that were driving by or walking by, would you take your child to see a drag show?
And all of them said, no.
I think all but maybe two, maybe 5% out of everyone that I asked.
The vast majority.
Yeah, because...
And the ones that said they would probably don't really know what happens at a drag show or they wouldn't.
They probably wouldn't.
They said, I didn't care or they called us effing Karens.
Okay.
As they walk by.
So that's another word that I think is so stupid and I wish conservatives wouldn't join in on that.
I know because I have friends named Karen and it's terrible.
For that reason too.
But it's just, it's another name.
It's another cult-like way to behave and attack just like they did with the Barbie movie.
The conservatives jump on it just like the left are doing and I just don't, I don't, I don't see how they can't understand that they're doing the same thing.
Well, you know what I see a Karen as?
The fake, the plastic vaginas on the head when they were protesting us, like, getting rid of abortion.
You know, they won abortion.
And so that's what I see as a Karen, that.
But I'm with you.
I mean, it's ridiculous.
It's just another name they can call and just another thing they can say, like, they're too much.
Well, I think that that's too much, putting a fake vagina on your head to say that you have a right to kill a baby.
Right.
It's disgusting.
It's despicable and disgusting.
But, you know, when we disagree, Everything has just become so heightened, the disagreements these days.
The Barbie movie.
Let's talk about the Barbie movie.
So this just happened like last week.
This is like, it's so outlandishly ridiculous.
And people that we're even friends with, you know, big name pastors, big name people that have a platform that we're friends with and we're watching.
Everybody's trying to get a hit or a click or a like.
And I haven't even posted about the Barbie movie at all.
I haven't said anything, which I haven't gone to it, but I want to.
I love Barbie.
I think my daughter's been, you know, she went with her friends and wore her pink and did all that.
And she saw the few little things in there that were not, that were Hollywood.
Oh my gosh, every movie has it.
Probably more so than the Barbie movie.
But we're going to just attack Barbie and go crazy.
It's fascinating to me.
Out of all the movies, and we go see a lot of movies.
You know, I have a daughter with special needs who is obsessed with movies.
So I have to see a lot of movies.
And sometimes I have to see them over and over again.
But, you know, we go and see them.
And this particular one, I agreed that we could go see.
My daughter's 20, so I didn't take anyone who's under 13 to this PG-13 movie.
And people say, well, you know, it's Barbie.
It should be for kids.
Well, you know who Hollywood is.
You know that.
And if it says PG-13, that's on you for taking your small kids.
That's on you.
Just take, you know, if you want to take them, just know there might be some things that they might should not see.
You know?
That was just one of the things that people were upset about.
It's for Barbies.
You'd think it would be for young kids.
But they're not upset about the superhero movies that are PG-13 that said the F word.
They're not upset about that.
That's okay because the boys can go watch it.
It's okay.
I just don't understand it.
I really don't.
I get the movie.
I wouldn't go see it again.
I don't need to see it again.
Lily will probably have to play it when it comes out on streaming.
But I do see that there was a couple of speeches that were just like vomit worthy.
It was, you know, making it seem like women.
It was a very feminism, like a level three, you know?
But there was a lot of it that I found redeeming.
Brittany and Bill Get Real.
It's a little show here in Savannah.
It's a conservative show.
I was so proud of them for not jumping on this bandwagon, but actually speaking to someone who saw the movie, you know?
And so my daughter and I were able to go on that little show and talk about the pros and the cons of this movie and get an intelligent opinions, right?
But it was crazy.
When I saw the mass hysteria, and I had these messages, because you love Barbie, da-da-da-da-da, because I went to see the Barbie movie, you know?
It's this attack mode that even Christians are doing now that is such a leftist tactic.
It's disgusting.
I took a break from social media.
I'll go on there once in a while, but I took the app off my phone.
I was that disgusted.
I see these people going on there that I know didn't go see the movie.
I know they didn't see it.
And I see males that would not give a rip about the movie Barbie.
But they have to weigh in so they can get their likes and they can increase their numbers.
They can stay relevant.
And it's just, I just sit back and I'm thinking, you don't have any interest in that movie.
You're just jumping on a bandwagon.
Let's get rid of the voting machines.
Let's get the secure legal ballot so that we can have a country to argue about the Barbie movie.
You know what I mean?
Let's talk about that a little bit more.
Yeah.
We're in the middle of like...
A very precarious time.
We don't have the time and energy to devote to something so stupid.
But the same people who will shame those that are going or who will consider it like this horrible, evil thing comparatively to other movies.
I don't get it because their other movies are like up here.
Yeah.
The same people will preach mercy and grace.
And, you know, we'll, I just, I don't understand.
Not talk about abortion.
Not talk about Roe being overturned in the church.
I don't understand it.
It's frustrating.
I feel like we all just need to have a little bit more grace and we need to figure out, okay, what are we actually mad at?
And let's stop trying to compartmentalize every Christian and say they're bad if they do this and they're bad if they do that.
We're all bad.
We all screw up.
I'm a sinner.
I mess up.
You mess up.
We all mess up.
Okay, can we talk about what's going to uplift people?
Can we lead other people to Jesus?
Can we worry about the lost?
Can we try to secure our elections and pray for that?
It just seems like there's this movement right now to call out everyone and everything.
And it's exhausting.
It is exhausting.
And you know, blessing comes from happiness.
Happiness.
So if you're not happy ever, and everything is anger and rage, and that's all we do, you're not going to be blessed.
No, that's true.
You're just trying to think of it like that.
And so my pastor talked about that this week, and that is stuck with me.
We're blessed.
The word means happiness.
And so we have to be happy at some point.
And I do feel like everything is an I gotcha thing and a challenge and everybody's offended.
And yeah, but let me tell you what I think about this.
I think about this instead of being just normal conversation and being happy.
And I mean, I'm all about confronting something that's wrong and evil.
Like, yeah, I'm all about that.
But everything isn't evil and everything isn't wrong and everybody's heart isn't Awful because they don't see things just the way you do.
And I think that especially conservatives and people that call themselves Christians, we get into this rut of division that is literally caused by the enemy and we allow him to take root and we participate.
We participate in this and I see it all over social media and I see it in real life at work and in church and everywhere that people We don't link arms together.
I remember God giving me an image of us linking arms together and pushing back on the establishment because it's our country and it's our government.
When are we going to link arms together and say, this is our community, this is our family, this is our children, and we're going to be together in this fight and not after each other.
And I feel like that's everywhere.
And I don't know what to do to fix it.
I don't either.
People are going to have to back off of All the other stuff and stop liking those kind of posts because that's what's keeping them relevant is, you know, on the bashing and the attacking and the contentious, you know, attitudes.
It's because people seem to like it.
They do.
They really do.
And you know, you lived in Hollywood for a while, Chrissy.
And Bryant was, and I love this, I have to say, Bryant was an extra in 90210, Beverly Hills 90210, which was one of my favorite shows ever.
And if you watch it, you'll think, oh, you watch that and you're a Christian because there was some pretty spicy stuff in that, especially during the 90s when that was popular.
But you know what?
Everything is life.
It's not all bad.
And God can bring good out of bad things.
But anyway, you live in Hollywood.
So you know the whole Hollywood thing.
We were there during the...
It was the 1993 earthquake.
We were in California.
And we lived near Venice Beach.
I used to rollerblade near Venice Beach.
And Brian and I both said...
We will not raise a family here.
So it was for a time and then we left.
But yeah, he was an extra in several things and he enjoyed it.
But, you know, the the gigs that they were willing to give him towards the end are things like showing up in a bar to get a girl or drinking or in bed with somebody for a commercial.
And his conscious just couldn't allow him to do that.
And so I think that the closer he grew with the Holy Spirit, the more he realized that this maybe is not a dream that I want for me anymore.
And that was even 30 years ago.
So can you imagine?
And you, Christy, you.
So it's so funny because your your ringtone is I feel good.
So it's so appropriate.
But you were a backup singer for James Brown.
Yeah, many moons ago.
You were like his token blonde Barbie backup singer.
That was fun.
Fun times.
It seems like another life, you know?
Can you tell us your favorite James Brown story?
Because you've told me before one, and I don't know if you'll tell that one, but it was...
Isn't it the one where he tried to talk me out of marrying Bryant?
Well, that one's good.
And then how he would charge y'all.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
He would...
He never fined the singers when I was in there, but sure...
We would sing, we would practice, and we had, you know, lots and lots of rehearsals.
And, you know, so you had to know your musical instrument.
You had to know it well.
And you can't make mistakes with Mr.
Brown.
I had to call him Mr.
Brown.
And so when we were in performance, we were performing, he would turn around if someone made a mistake, and I didn't catch it.
This is something that he would catch.
But if you saw him turning around, not missing a beat, going like this with the audience behind him, he was fining somebody because they messed up.
And you and I might not have caught what it was.
Ryan probably would have caught it.
But yeah, I mean, if they know the part, then they had to play it and they had to pay attention because he would shift the song just like that.
And we had to know, you know, what we were supposed to sing, even if he changed the song just like that and it was a different set.
It was crazy.
You had to know what you were singing and playing.
Tell about Mary and Brian.
We know we didn't want to lose you as a backup singer.
That was the whole thing.
This was in San Francisco at an arena called Circle Star.
I think it was.
We were getting ready to rehearse and they were doing a sound check.
I was out in the audience big arena.
I was sitting there waiting on them to call us up.
And he comes and he sits next to me and he starts talking.
And if anyone has ever talked to Mr.
Brown, you know that you catch about half of what he said.
I just didn't understand everything, but I understood, you know, a lot of it.
But he just told me, you know, that Bryant's going to steal my money and that I need...
You're like, what money?
What money?
He said, you don't need to get...
I was making really good money, you know, every week.
He paid us really well.
But I didn't have any debt, so I went into the marriage with, you know, no debt.
And I had, you know, a little bit of money.
But yeah, he was just trying to talk me out of it, you know, because he thought that I would end up leaving the band, which I did.
Shortly after.
But, you know, one of the first performances was in Donald Trump's hotel.
Wow.
And, yeah, no, one of our last performances, rather.
Well, things came full circle, right?
And you did tell me this story.
This is a great story.
I want you to tell the story.
We were in, and I'm at a blank, what was the name of the hotel in New Jersey?
It's the big hotel in New Jersey, but we were there, we were playing, and Sade opened up for us, and Donald Trump loved James Brown, and so he would play at his hotel, you know, maybe once a year, once every two years, and um so he came backstage and he met us and he was really nice and this is when you know everybody was saying um during the election that you know he was nasty and he's like that with all girls and everything
and I'm thinking what I saw of him is he was very respectful because we were changing we were getting ready and so he waited out with his security and waited like 15 minutes for us to get ready and then came in and introduced himself was very humble and was like you guys practice really hard and he was just so kind and down to earth and that's what I remember of of him
but every performance James Brown would bring Martha High who was the head of the backup singers he would bring her or one of the other ones up front to dance with like a celebrity that was in the audience and He never brought me up to dance.
Never.
It was always the one who'd been in the band, like the lead singer, you know, the head of the singers.
And this time, I was so shocked.
He turned around and he's like, you know, told me to come up and he's looking straight at me and Martha's like, he's talking to you.
And I'm thinking, what am I supposed to do?
And he pulled Donald Trump on stage.
I kid you not, this is not a story.
This is the truth.
He pulled us both.
So I'm standing next to Donald Trump and we're supposed to do a dance.
That's what you do.
You just dance with whoever the celebrity or the person is that James Brown pulls on stage.
I didn't know what to do.
I was like a blank.
I didn't know what dance I was supposed to do because I just couldn't think of one at that moment.
And I was a dancer.
And so the only thing I could think of was the bomb.
Like, what do I do with Donald Trump?
So I was doing the, you know...
And so that's my Donald Trump story.
He did it too.
He loved to dance.
He did it too.
Yeah.
He was great.
It's so funny, Christy, because I was so excited to get to meet President Trump.
And you remember, I went to Alabama.
I took Cooper Jax.
It was the team, state team chair for Georgia.
Rhonda's one of our best friends too now.
But anyway, he and I drove to Alabama, went to stay with them in North Georgia.
We drove to Alabama and we got to go back there and meet President Trump.
Right.
And I'm so excited.
And I'm like, oh, I got to meet President Trump.
And I told him I'm running for governor.
And he was so kind.
He was so humble.
And I didn't expect him to be so humble.
He was so humble.
And I'm telling you about it.
And I'm like, later, like, way later, I'm like, just random conversation with you.
Like, Chrissy, have y'all met President Trump?
You're like, well, actually, this one time, I'm like, I'm thinking I'm so important getting to meet Donald Trump.
And you dance with him on stage with James Brown.
Yeah.
That was so long ago.
I forget to tell people that kind of stuff.
Well, it's because you're humble, too, and you don't think about stuff like that being so important, but it's important.
It's so cool.
I'll have to clip this and say, okay, tell Mike Lindell, please send this to President Trump so he can hear Christy's story about doing the butt.
He'll probably remember.
Maybe.
He might.
He was really nice.
But he is very humble.
He was so kind to me, and he didn't have to be, and asked me questions.
He didn't talk.
He asked me questions and wanted to know, you know, what are you running for again?
What are you doing?
You know, that kind of thing.
And so, you know, I think that he puts on this persona, which he is obviously his personality, to be a very strong alpha man.
That's how he's able to deal with people like, you know, North Korea crazy and Putin and China and all these people, because he does have that in him.
But I think as a man and a person, he's very gentle and kind.
Yeah, that's I mean, that's my experience.
That's the only thing I can I can speak from.
But, you know, but no one's perfect.
And we have to pray for him.
We have got to pray for him, that he hears the Spirit of God, that he hears the Lord's voice.
That he humbles himself so that he can hear the Lord's voice.
That he has people around him, surrounding him, that will point him to Christ and point him to morality and speak truth to him and not just kind of scratch, you know, whatever it is he wants to hear.
That's the kind of stuff we really need to pray for our leader.
Yeah, there was something he said this week about, if you come for me, I'm coming for you.
And in my spirit, I thought, no, you don't have to come for them because the Lord fights your battles and he can take a whole army out like that.
And I thought, no, you don't have to come for him.
You ain't got to come for anybody because the Lord's going to go for him.
He goes before you and he's got this.
And I want to tell him that, like President Trump.
All you have to do is say, okay, come for me and see how that works out for you.
Because we know, you and I know in our own life and what's happened just in the campaign, people that were attacking us, people that put out lies and put out stuff and they have little brain tumors and they had things happen to their children, which we would never want.
I would never.
I want everybody saved.
I want everybody whole.
I wouldn't wish any sickness on my worst enemy.
I want you saved and whole and I want you going to heaven and living righteous now.
And being a productive citizen and relationship and forgive and move on.
But we've watched that transpire.
And people truly do reap what they sow.
We've seen it.
We have seen it.
And it was very, like there were some very poignant times that I remember thinking, wow, he really does fight for us.
And like you said, the Lord...
Fights for us, and he will fight.
Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.
And we've got to just get on our knees.
And I don't mean that proverbially.
We need to get on our knees for President Trump.
We need to stay on our knees for leadership.
Because that is humility right there.
The Lord honors that.
He honors that fasting and getting on our knees.
And He fights for us, just like in Romans 8, He also intercedes.
And He just does it with groaning, the Holy Spirit does.
Yeah, and it's not like he, it's not God.
People think, you know, the left likes to say, you know, you MAGA people, you Trumpers, y'all are obsessed.
He's your God.
He's your king.
They call him the orange king.
All these things.
It's a lie.
He's not God.
He is called by God.
God has called him and he is not broken down and fallen into the swamp persona that they want him to be.
He still stands for us.
He still stands for truth.
He loves America.
I believe with all my heart, President Trump loves the Constitution and he loves America.
And they can't stand that.
But he can't be bought.
They cannot stand it.
So they hate him and they want to crucify him.
Literally, if they could, they would.
They want to.
But I believe with all my heart, he's called.
Vortex has such time as is.
He won twice.
He's going to win again if we can get rid of these illegal voting machines because they will cheat if they can because they hate him.
They will.
They absolutely do hate him.
They hate everything he stands for because he's trying to expose the truth.
So we have to get on our knees.
We have to stop fighting the stupid things.
We've got to stop calling out and belittling people over stupid things.
The Barbie movie?
Hello?
And we've got to start getting on our knees for our nation, but more importantly than our nation, for the unreached, for people that don't know Jesus.
There's a lot of people that will be born and live their whole life and die without ever hearing the name Jesus.
And that's in the 1040 window.
If you've never heard of it, whoever's watching this, go look it up.
There are billions of people that will never hear the name Jesus.
And those are people that Brian and I have a passion for, as well as, you know, your neighbors.
But we've got to focus on, you know, the hope that is in Christ that people desperately need.
That's what they need.
That's the most important thing.
Where are you storing your, you know, things in heaven?
And it's certainly not with fighting over movies and stupid things like that.
And I just thought we're going to close out.
But I was thinking, Christy, about what you and Brian, y'all like to do if you have any extra money to donate or to tithe or to give.
You do something.
You buy a motorcycle.
And just talk about that and how much that costs and where they could go.
Because somebody watching this may say, hey, I want to help reach that population group.
How do I do that?
Absolutely.
Well, we have a passion in India right now, and the reason that we, you know, we work with a lot of different people groups over the years, all over.
But the reason we sort of stayed in India is because there are literally hundreds of thousands coming to know Christ.
And there is a movement.
The Holy Spirit is moving there.
And we've been there many times.
Bryant's going again in January, and hopefully he'll take Jordan with him this time.
But But we've been there and we see the movement.
We see how detailed they are with everything they do.
They're accountable to everything.
Every dime they get, they're accountable.
And they're sending disciples out in droves, constantly going to the untouchables, to villages all over the place, sharing the love of Jesus.
And they're establishing house churches.
That's another topic for another show.
House churches.
But they're doing it, and we've seen it.
And so we give...
A motorcycle is $1,100.
And so when you and I made our first...
We made our first $1,000 that we said, okay, we're going to pay ourselves out $1,000 each.
And it was...
We hadn't...
But the first thing we did is give to something we were passionate about.
You gave to a place near Baxley that helps women, a shelter?
The pregnancy center that we're opening.
Pregnancy center, that's right.
I gave to a bike for a motorcycle for a for a disciple and what he'll do with that is he'll take two or three disciples on that motorcycle and go out every single day to villages all over India and they're accountable they have to come back and it's a whole class it's a program that they do and they share the word of God and establish house churches we've also given it's the same amount about 1100 for cows and there's um I think we've supported
maybe 20 something cows and These cows are, you know, going to feed and help.
The milk is going to supply for all of these kids at the orphanage and at a school.
And the school that we sent money to try to help and support is now they've got, gracious, almost 2000 kids at this school.
And many, many of these kids are Hindi, Hindu kids, and some of them are Muslim.
But they're learning how to speak English using the Bible.
And so they're teaching them English using scripture.
And I could go on and on and on, but that's where we choose to support.
And an organization that you can give is called Friends of India, and that's right here in the States.
And the money you can designate.
I want this to go for a motorbike.
And believe me, they have to go through all the training and they're lined up on who's worthy or who's ready to get their motorbike.
Or I want this to go to a cow.
You know, I want this to go to the water plant.
The water plant is going to provide water bottles all up and down this highway that I've been on many times.
And the money that comes in for that is going to pay for the disciples and their wives and their overhead so they can continue to do the work of God.
Yeah.
Storing your treasures where they should be, right?
That's right.
That's your treasures.
And so that's awesome.
I love that.
I told you, I still want to buy a motorbike.
So when we sell some more gold and silver, we're going to buy another motorbike from our money.
Let's talk before we get off really quick about Heaven's Harvest, which we, you and I have that.
And we've got, I've got mine stored up in case that happens.
Let's talk about Heaven's Harvest really quick.
And then I want to talk about Terry Saka and Cornerstone.
Yeah, well, Clayton is the best at Heaven's Harvest.
We had, I mean, I really enjoyed that.
You and I spent a couple days together and visited at Heaven's Harvest.
And he's salt of the earth.
And they have the most bang for your buck comparatively to all the other programs that sell bulk items.
You can buy, you know, a week's worth.
And it actually is a week's worth.
Right.
And that's what I found fascinating.
And also, it's just the organic, the quality.
What are the seeds called?
Heirloom seeds.
And the food tastes so much better.
We cut our first sugar baby, watermelon.
And it is delicious.
And so I've got to bring you one.
I have a couple more.
I want to bring you one.
You've got to try it.
Yeah, it's just supposed to be so much more flavorful.
Because, you know, the watermelons are kind of like water now.
They don't have any, like, flavor.
They're just, they've been so GMO'd or whatever.
But this is so, it was just like sugar.
Yeah, it's the same thing with, you know, beans and carrots.
And cucumbers.
I mean, all those things, it's just, you know, the heirloom seeds retain.
They just, the flavor is so much better.
There's probably a lot of gardeners and whatnot that can attest to what we're saying, but it's a legit, amazing company.
And in my opinion, it's better than the others because I've researched some of the others.
And the same thing goes with Terry Sacka.
With the silver.
It just honestly, it's he doesn't upsell just for the sake of it being a specialty coin.
That's not going to be worth more in the long run.
And what I love about this, the silver company is that they are all believers and they even went to Bible school together.
Yeah.
So I love it.
That's why I love Cornerstone.
They are truly and just like our campaign, it's so similar.
They get together and they pray all the time.
And they could make more money doing a lot of off-color things.
They really could.
But all of them have just collectively gotten together and decided, no, this isn't how we're going to do it.
So this is where I send people to Terry Saka with Cornerstone.
That's where I send them because I think that they're about as honest as you're going to get when it comes to gold and silver.
And I mean, he calls and chats on us personally, and he's just such a great guy.
I had a conversation last week with him just about demons, about life, about, you know, you know, with Brian and I, it just anything.
He's just he's the best salt of the earth, too.
And, you know, I feel like the Lord led, you know, us to those two relationships.
I really do.
I do too.
We make a little bit of money sometimes and it comes from them.
And then we keep a little bit by a computer or by a lot or by whatever.
And then we give to missions.
Right.
This is kind of our fun thing we do, Christy.
It's nice to network with other believers, you know.
Well, thank you so much for coming on.
I've been wanting you to come on.
I had to like, come on, Christy, come on.
What are we going to talk about?
I'm like, girl, we can talk for three hours.
I'm like, I'm not interesting.
You are interesting.
Hey, they're going to love that about President Trump.
That's so funny.
Well, I enjoyed it.
I put makeup on a little bit.
That's right.
That's right.
And I had a good time.
I always have a good time chatting with you.
Well, thank you so much for coming on.
And thank y'all for tuning in.
And we'll be on next week on the Sue Peters Network at 8 p.m.
Eastern Standard Time.
I love you.
God loves you.
you God bless America.
Hey, I know what you need to do right now today and that is invest in gold and silver.
I have a great friend.
His name's Terry Sacka, and he owns CornerstoneAssetMetals.com.
You can go there.
There's a phone number.
You can call.
They will walk you through.
Christian Patriots will walk you through.
Your budget.
What you have for investments.
And they will help you diversify.
It is so important.
Our dollar has become diluted.
Inflation is on the rise.
And we have to diversify.
We can't keep everything in the bank.
We can't keep everything in the stock market.
And we surely can't keep everything in cash.
We have to take our money and invest in gold and silver.
That's what's going to stand the test of time.
That is what is going to be there when nothing else is.
So I encourage you to go to Cornerstone Asset Metals today.
