Time Text
Hey, I know what you need to do right now today, and that is invest in gold and silver.
I have a great friend, his name's Terry Sacka, and he owns cornerstoneassetmetals.com.
You can go there, there's a phone number, you can call.
They will walk you through.
Christian Patriots will walk you through your budget, what you have for investments, and they will help you diversify.
It is so important.
Our dollar has become diluted.
Inflation is on the rise.
And we have to diversify.
We can't keep everything in the bank.
We can't keep everything in the stock market.
And we surely can't keep everything in cash.
We have to take our money and invest in gold and silver.
That's what's going to stand the test of time.
That is what is going to be there when nothing else is.
So I encourage you to go to Cornerstone Asset Metals today and buy you some gold and silver.
We as Christians, we got to get the direction of the Lord and let him lead us and use us in order to bring righteousness to this country.
And it can happen.
It's going to happen.
It's going to happen.
Hey, everybody, welcome to Jesus, Skins, and Babies.
I'm your host, Dr.
Candice Taylor, and I have a wonderful show for you tonight.
We're going to start with one of my favorite verses, and it just so happens to be my guest.
It's one of his favorite verses.
It is Esther 414.
For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish.
Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.
And I think, you know, we hear about this.
Maybe perhaps you're created for such a time as this.
But when you read it in that whole context of that verse and you look at remaining silent, Then you don't get relief and deliverance.
It comes from somewhere else.
When God appointed you and appointed you to do it yourself and to lead people.
And I think the whole context is so important.
So I challenge you, you go read Esther 14 and chew on that in a minute.
There's a lot right there in that that's relevant for today.
So thank y'all for tuning in.
We are going to welcome right now Pastor William Green to our show.
Hello, how are you?
Well, great, Pastor.
Thank you so much for joining us and being with us today.
I want to start with who you are and kind of your background.
I want to know why you are a pastor, how you got there, and if we'll just start there, and I'll lead you through some questions and let the people know kind of who you are.
Well, my background, I'm from New York City.
I spent 22 years in the field of law enforcement.
And one of the things that God challenged me to do when I was, as we say in law enforcement, on the job, was to stand for Him.
And while I was, I was at the time, employed with the New York City Department of Correction, working on Rikers Island, and God challenged me to do something.
I had promised, I had to take a vow to the Lord That if he would give me this job, because I was really looking for a good job, I had a wife with a first child coming in, needed a job.
And I told God that if he would give me this job, that I would serve him in that field.
And I remember one night, walking down the lawn carters, Of the jail I was working in.
And I just heard a voice in my spirit saying, you remember that vow you made?
And I said, yes, Lord.
And from that vow, the Lord challenged me to start a ministry within the New York City Department of Correction.
And with much prayer and much determination, the Lord led me to start the New York City Department of Correctional Office of Christ.
And that was back in 1989.
And the unique thing about that, you know, we were in a joint ministry with the police officers for Christ.
And get this, Candace, part of our ministry was that we would go to churches all in a tri-state area in full uniform.
And when people would see us, they couldn't believe it.
They said, you guys are cops?
And you're Christians?
And we said, yes we are.
Here we are.
And from 1989 to 1999, we ministered throughout the city, throughout the tri-state area.
And God used us in many ways to minister to the people.
One of the distinct memories I had was Back in the early 90s, we had what you call the Crown Heights riots in Brooklyn, New York.
A lot of people may remember that.
And it was at that time that we went out to this one particular church in Crown Heights.
And when the people saw us, they just couldn't believe it.
And one of the distinct things I remember is at the completion of that service, All of us in a sea of blue, officers, detectives, supervisors, all in our full uniform, we stood right in front of that church.
I would say a good 30 to 40 strong.
And we said, if you or anyone felt that you were mistreated by a police officer or correction officer, you want to say sorry.
And the people started coming up and hugging us.
Crying on our shoulders.
And we call that ministry of reconciliation.
And that's what led me eventually to be a pastor because one of the things I learned through my career as a Christian, not only am I a servant to God, but I am a servant to his people also.
So that's what led me here today.
I love that ministry of reconciliation because as a counselor you have a PhD in counseling and as a counselor I know what trauma does to people and you know being arrested has to be traumatic my brother's been arrested several times for drug related things it is traumatic for me for my children for my parents whenever he's been arrested and it's very traumatic for him so I can imagine How reconciliation would be needed and you're able to provide ministry for people who have been arrested
as a pastor and a Christian and as a law enforcement officer.
And so that's powerful.
I've never thought about that, but that has to be a powerful ministry.
It was.
It was.
And, you know, the thing about it, you know, it was very much needed because, you know, at that time, you know, I was making a very, very good salary.
And the thing about it, when it came to people in salary position and uniform, you know, they just figured, well, listen, if you got problems, you handle that yourself.
But, you know, all of us who had a badge or carry a gun, we need Jesus, too.
And the thing that...
I also remember was, you know, we had a big riot in 1991, which I was involved in.
I mean, it was so big.
Even 60 Minutes came to the jail to interview all of us.
Wow.
And I was listening to someone on the radio, and they were saying, you know, we need to pray for the prisoners.
We need to pray for those incarcerated.
And I agree with all that.
But I always thought, well, Who's praying for the people working inside there in the belly of the beast?
So those are my motivations to start The Correctional Office of Christ, and it still endures to this very day.
So that's my legacy.
That is an awesome testimony.
What do you know about the prison systems today?
Because I'm going to tell you, as I campaigned for governor all around the state of Georgia, I heard from victims' families.
I heard from people incarcerated and from their families.
And I say victims because there are people who were victims of murder and rape and all kind of things in prisons that I spent with their families.
And then people just that were incarcerated and they would write me or their wives or their mothers or their fathers or their siblings.
And they were so concerned about the treatment they were receiving.
And I know my brother was in prison and he talks about the horrific things that were going on, gangs, but, you know, basically survival of the fittest and people being killed and finding their bodies three days later because the prison's not doing counts.
And all the other things that you hear about that could be the most horrific things possible is happening in Georgia prisons.
And nobody talks about it because it's not a political thing political importance and so people aren't spending their time talking about that but that's humanity and that is inhumane for people to go to prison for a petty crime or a misdemeanor or even if it's a felony but it's not capital punishment it's stealing for drugs or it's you know something that's you know five years eight months nine months sentence And
you're being murdered and you're being raped and you're being, you know, trying to survive because people are stealing your food and they're starving you to death, shanking you, all these things.
What do you think is the solution for that?
Are you hearing that too in the prisons that you're affiliated with?
Well, you know, the solution to all of that basically is not to go to jail.
But There's a certain mentality within prisons.
It's a dog-eat-dog mentality.
And as an officer, it's your job for the safety of the prisoners.
But, you know, you have people within there.
You know, one of the things that people don't want to talk about is, and I can relate to New York City, average person coming, going to jail, getting locked up, Wasn't getting locked up for not paying child support.
I mean, these are people that were getting arrested for rape, murder, you name it.
And to think that people, when they're going on the inside, that they're going to change, no.
It's just going to intensify.
And see, that's the thing that people don't want to admit.
You know, the model with society is just lock them up and throw away the key.
Well, what about those that are working inside there?
You know, the ratio, I'll give you an example.
I had to supervise me and one other officer.
We had to supervise 100 prisoners.
Now think about that.
And these were some of the people that you would never want to meet.
So you combine that with the satanic atmosphere that exists in jails, that exists in prisons, and that'll just give you a glimpse of the problem.
So I would say the overall problem and solution to all of that is people need Jesus.
Absolutely.
You know what, Pastor?
We're seeing that same thing.
the satanic behaviors infiltrating our society that's not incarcerated we're seeing a rise in witchcraft a rise in the interest of satanic ritual and just atheism and complete disregard for life human life any life and we're seeing that perpetuate in our society everywhere you turn and i i feel like it's a principality and demonic stronghold and
And, you know, it's just what happens whenever the end time is near.
I don't think that Jesus is coming back today by any stretch of the imagination, but I do think that we're seeing things unfold that are biblical proportions.
I mean, what do you think about that?
Where do you put that in context with what's going on in today and in society and what we see in prisons is indicative of that even outside of prison walls?
Well, it's indicative of what the Bible says.
What we're seeing right now is the scriptures unfolding, being fulfilled before our very eyes.
You know, the Bible speaks about the great falling away in churches.
That's happening right now.
The persecution.
That's happening right now.
Jesus compared these days as it was in the days of Noah.
What were the aspects of the days of Noah?
Sodom and Gomorrah.
People were extremely violent.
You could get killed at any time for anything as of today.
And people were sexually immoral.
Very sexually immoral.
To the point where Jesus had to wipe out all of mankind except for eight people.
Noah and his family.
And it's the same thing that we're facing right now.
But the thing that we have to realize as Christians, as I said at the beginning of this interview, is that we're called for such a time as this.
And The endeavor has to be, the understanding has to be as we as a body of Christ, we need to start coming together and make a difference.
Because yes, we know there's going to be a great falling away, but we have yet to see the revival.
We have yet to see God pour His Spirit upon all flesh, which He said He's going to do.
So it is incumbent upon us as Christians To start coming together and working together.
Let me pose a question to you.
And think about this.
Who is the leader of the LGBTQ? No one can answer that question.
And I can even make that an easy question.
Who are the 10 leaders of the LGBTQ? No one can answer that question.
Who are the leaders of the abortionists?
Well, Planned Parenthood is what I would say.
But the point I'm trying to make is we don't know who the individual leaders are, but because they are united, look at the effect they have.
Now, when you talk about Christianity and the body of Christ, everybody wants to be recognized.
You know, everybody's organization is all about their organization, all about their ministry, all about them.
And because everybody wants to focus on their personal agenda and goals, we get nothing done as a body of Christ in this country.
That's good.
So we have to change that.
And I tell people all the time, you don't have to remember my name, but because of my commitment and my effort for the Lord and bringing glory to His name, you will know Jesus' name.
And that should be the understanding of all of us.
Mm-hmm.
And this is why, you know, as Christians, we have to come together.
Whatever our organizations are, whatever our ministry is, we need to come together and form that three-fold core.
Because remember in the book of Esther, what did Mordecai say to Esther to give a proper focus and understanding?
Because remember, Esther, when she found out what Hammond was planning, she didn't want to get involved.
She just wanted to stay in the king's house.
What does that sound like?
You know, so many Christians want to stay in the church building.
They just want their activities to be inside the four walls of the church.
We don't want to go outside the church and confront all these sin issues.
Or we want to stay at home on a Zoom because we got comfortable during COVID and use that as an excuse not to gather together.
And I dare say, too, even before COVID, we were silent.
But the point is, It's the words of Mordecai that inspired my heart.
He said, if you hold your peace, God is going to send an enlargement for his people.
And we have to understand that you and I and others, we're that enlargement that God wants to send for his people.
And we're called for such a time as this.
And when we say call for such a time as this, to do what?
To stand up publicly against the transgender community and say enough is enough.
You will not take over our children.
We will not allow you.
We have to say enough is enough to the abortionists.
To the LGBTQ community.
I dare say we have to say enough is enough to the Democratic Party.
And the Republicans, and the Republicans too, Pastor Green, that are elitist, that don't care about humanity, and don't care about the Constitution.
Because we have a pile of them.
And you know, I just won a seat in my district.
It's like over 15 counties in Georgia.
It's a state Republican seat.
And I am a Republican.
Through and through, the Republican Party is the party that frees slaves.
And I am a conservative, a constitutionalist, but I'm going to tell you that they talk about this far left that's the 1% crazy that pushes all the total immorality of our society.
But we also have a far right, and they call me far right, and I don't know why, because I'm about humanity and I am very conservative, but why does that make me far right?
The far right that I see are the ones that worship politicians and not people.
That far right that doesn't care about freedom, they care about who they know and their power and the money, and they don't really care about freedom and humanity.
And so we have an establishment elite on both sides of the aisle that have to go.
Absolutely.
And see, that's why as Christians, we have to have true born-again Christians in every phase of the government, from the White House down to the schoolboys.
But notice what I said, Candace.
I said true born-again Christians.
That's right.
You can be a Christian believer, but not be a true Christian.
Not fake.
We got to have a relationship.
It's got to be authentic.
Exactly.
And, you know, too many people carry the label of Christian.
You know, they speak loudly, as God said in his word, they speak loudly with their mouths, but their hearts are far from you.
Clangent symbols.
And we see that.
So, one of the things that we have to do, we have to get true born and born Christians elected to the office, everywhere.
You know, and the next time, if you run, we have to get behind you and other true Christians who want to Serve the Lord in politics.
And see, that's another thing about the story of Esther and Mordecai.
You see the wisdom of God where he had Esther infiltrating the king's house.
Because Mordecai told her strictly, don't tell anyone of your heritage.
Don't tell nobody who's a Jew.
And a lot of people miss this, but Mordecai is what you would call a political official also.
Because he was one of the princes of A lot of people just fail to realize that.
And, you know, we have to dispel this ignorance amongst Christians that Christians can't be involved in politics.
Because as we can see, if you're not involved in politics, politics is going to be involved in your life.
That's right.
And that's what we're facing right now.
I mean, you see all these bills aimed squarely at Christians.
You know, the Equality Act, the Respect for Marriage Act, And these things are aimed squarely at Christians.
So, you know, here's the body of Christ.
We need to fulfill.
We have a spiritual mandate to fulfill.
And what is that spiritual mandate?
To occupy and control until Jesus comes.
We just can't sit.
We know we believe in a rapture, but that don't mean we just sit down and do nothing to just say, oh, Jesus has come.
No, we have a work to do.
We have a lot of work to do, a ton of work, and we have to not be scared.
We've got to be bold like a lion.
You know, Jesus, he was the lion and the lamb.
He was both.
And we have to be both.
We have to be humble and kind and show love and compassion and mercy.
But we also have to be bold and not afraid.
Political correctness has got us in this mess.
So I got my PhD, Dr.
Ben Carson spoke, and he said political correctness and the national debt is going to destroy America.
And he is right.
Today, this is an evidence of political correctness and being worried about offending someone.
And then the national debt and what's happening with the economy and everything falling apart.
The housing market can't sell houses because interest rates are the roof and the dollar doesn't mean anything and just the printing of the money.
That is what's destroying our country.
The moral compass has been totally discredited with political correctness and our economy has been purposefully destroyed.
Well, that's the legacy and that's the reality of the Democratic Party and some Republicans, okay?
Because you see how so many millions of dollars are handed over to Ukraine.
And to my knowledge, the people of Ohio who suffered the effects of that derailment, I don't think nothing was done by this government.
Nothing.
So, you know, we need to open up our eyes And say, enough is enough.
And I really feel it's the Christians that have to take the lead in this country.
You know, a beer can should not have more effect than the body of Christ.
Amen.
Although I did like how they quit buying beer.
I appreciate that, but you know what?
I thought that guy, that boy who's confused and mentally deranged, he got more people to quit drinking Budweiser than AA ever has.
That's the truth.
But you know, we need to do more.
We, the body of Christ, we need to do more.
We need to take the lead.
And we need to make America godly again.
Amen.
That's our mandate.
You know, we just can't sit by and let sin go unchallenged.
We have to come outside of the four walls of the church and take it to the streets.
Isn't that what they did on the day of Pentecost?
Yes, sir.
They got filled in the upper room, but once they got filled and got power, where did they go?
To the streets in the midst of Jerusalem.
And we have to do the same thing.
We can't be worrying about the name calling.
We can't be worrying about who's against us.
It don't matter.
It don't matter.
Pastor Green, what would you say to people, pastors specifically, but any leader that says they're a Christian, what would you say to them for not speaking out, at least in support of Roe being overturned?
What would you say to these people who refuse to talk about abortion, don't want to offend anybody, and they refuse to say that was a wonderful thing that happened that we overturned Roe versus Wade?
What do you say to those people?
Well, you know, in regards to that, I'm going to be very blunt.
There's too many pumps behind a pulpit.
And there's too many twisted minds behind a pulpit.
Because...
It was amazing to me to hear pastors complain about the overturning of the road versus way.
But you know, that's even biblical because God said he's going to separate the sheeps from the goats.
Amen.
From the tares.
So what we've been hearing is the goats speaking.
But now it's time for us, the sheep who hear God's voice, we need to speak.
We need to speak loudly.
And not only do we need to speak But we need to start taking action because faith without works is dead.
Amen.
Amen.
And so tell me what you are.
You do a lot of ministry.
And so I want to know what you're telling pastors.
What are you telling congregations on how to engage and get involved?
Because we're at war.
This is a war.
And hopefully it doesn't come to fighting with guns and bloodshed.
But this is a war.
A digital war of people's minds.
They're being brainwashed.
They're being totally controlled with offense and demonic influence.
And so what do you say to people to get them to engage?
Well, what we have to do is that we have to spread awareness.
You know, that was the key thing that Mordecai did for Esther.
He gave a proper focus and he gave awareness as to what the situation was.
And that's what we have to do now.
So what we are planning on doing With the Mordecai Mission, we're planning on spreading awareness.
One of the projects that we're going to be working on right now is to take the ministry of the Bible outside the four walls of the churches.
Okay?
And we have to take a public stand against the transgender community.
A public stand.
Okay?
We have to take a public stand against all these same issues.
We have to take a public stand against the abortionists.
We need to have the endeavor, take on the endeavor of making abortion illegal in all 50 states.
Now, somebody might say, oh, that's impossible, Pastor.
That's impossible.
Well, let me quote, let me remind everybody who might be listening of a great evil that everybody thought was impossible That would be slavery in America.
Now, when slavery existed in America, no one thought it would be possible.
But through God and his people, anything is possible.
And what am I referring to?
God raised up a group of people called the abolitionists.
And these were born-again Christians.
They were black and white, men and women.
And what was the purpose of it?
The abolition of slavery.
This is what they believed in.
This is what they felt they were called to do.
And God raised up men and women to do it.
And not only did God raise up men and women through the abolitionist movement, he raised up a Christian president, an Abraham Lincoln.
And what was the result of their combined efforts?
It was the Civil War.
And after the Civil War was won by the North, what happened?
Slavery came to an end.
But who were the people that were responsible for the end of slavery in America?
Christians, born-again Christians, abolitionists.
And not only did they end slavery, they created a political party.
Which is called the Republican Party.
So, you know, this is the answer that we have to present to fight against this nonsense of critical race theory.
Because, you know, we allow too many people to revise history and to make lies out of history.
But this is the key.
When God's people come together as one, the impossible will happen.
Miracles will happen.
No one thought slavery would ever end.
So when you think of abortion being outlawed in this country altogether, God will do that through the collective efforts of his people.
You see, the sovereignty of God will only be proven through the collective works of his people.
You know, God is not going to share his glory with one man, but he's going to get his glory through all of us as we come together for his glory and for his name.
And we will see God move.
Yes.
Show us your glory, Lord.
We're ready.
We want to see it.
I think, you know, we have been so fat and so satisfied and so lazy in America because we're just privileged people.
We're all privileged.
And, you know, we talk about white privilege, which there is white privilege in some places.
But we're all privileged as Americans because we're in the freest land that there's ever been.
But yet, we enslave ourselves.
We enslave ourselves with mindset and brainwashing and this fake message that's coming through every media outlet out there that is mainstream that we have to recognize and understand.
And I think that's what you were saying, Pastor, is we have to get the message out there that people are not seeing the truth.
They're believing what they're hearing, but they're not seeing what God really is trying to show them.
And until we get to that place to see what he's showing us, they're not going to wake up.
But I do see people waking up and I see people all over the place that are finally engaging and saying, what can I do?
I've never been involved in politics.
I've never been involved in reaching out.
I've never been involved, but I want to be involved.
I want to be free.
I don't want to live in China.
I don't want to be in communism.
I want to be free.
And so I think that we're getting there.
It's just taking a lot longer than what I would like, but we're getting there.
Do you feel like people are in a better place now with understanding what's going on in our country with the new world order and with everything that's been trying to destroy us than they were in 2020?
I would say yes and no.
Yes, people are aware But where is the leadership coming from?
Where is the direction going to come from?
It has to come from God's people.
It has to come from the truth.
Because that's the responsibility that God gave us.
You know, Jesus said, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.
So all the spiritual ills...
That are affecting this country.
And you know, the thing we all have to realize is everything is spiritual.
Every aspect of life is spiritual.
Well, we understand that.
Not all we believe.
Everything is spiritual.
And we are engaged in a spiritual warfare.
So with that, we have to understand that, hey, we as Christians, we have to get the direction of the Lord and let him lead us and use us in order to bring peace.
Righteousness to this country.
And it's going to happen.
It's going to happen.
By those, the sheep who hear God's voice.
The goats are still talking.
The tares are still active.
But God is bringing us to be that enlargement that will hear his voice and that will do his will.
And we will bring spiritual change to this nation before the rapture happens.
We are spiritual beings and physical bodies, and that's hard for people to understand.
We never die.
Our flesh dies, but we never die.
And when you look at things, I was having a conversation with a girl that worked with me this morning, and we were talking about this, and she, you know, I don't know, but in South Georgia, we still, the most segregated day of the week is on Sunday.
We have white churches and black churches, a very few churches that are together.
And so we were just talking about what our pastors have been saying lately.
And she was saying to me, she said, you know, we are, In a place that we have to recognize that we have to seek God.
We have to seek His face and not be blinded by everything else that's going around in the world.
Because if not, we lose sight of eternity.
And we can't just be so focused on eternity that we lose sight of today.
We have to understand that we're spiritual beings all the time.
And the choices we make now are paving the way for where we end up when we get before our Father in Heaven and our name's in the book or it's not and we get to be with Him in Paradise or we don't.
And so I think we fail people by saying, are you saved?
Let me lead you to Christ.
But we don't teach them how to be obedient and how to walk out their walk with the Lord and hear the voice of God and be in their destiny and their calling for their life.
And we're failing people as a church.
That's what this generation wants.
This generation wants to see the power of God.
They want to see Him as a person.
They want to know Him.
And they don't want all the religious stuff.
And if that's how it is, they're not going to be interested in that.
They want to see the power of God move and know...
I know if I die right now, I'm going to be with the Lord.
My soul and my spirit will never die.
My body may die, but I'm going to be right with my Savior right then.
I know that.
100%.
I don't ever question that.
And I want everybody to have that assurance.
And I don't know what we've got to shift to the body of Christ to make that happen because I'm not called to be a pastor.
But you tell me what you think we have to do as a church to get there.
Well, you know, there's an old saying.
Among Christian circles.
We can't be so heavily minded till we're no earthly good.
And the thing that we have to be, we have to be obedient to God's word and lay aside our agendas.
That's the key.
Lay aside our agendas.
Because, you know, everything is I, I, I. My, my, my.
If you think about all the I's, Where did that originate?
That originated with Lucifer when he fell.
He said, I will be this.
I will be that.
He said the five eyes are Lucifer.
And it's the same thing with us.
Everything's about I. But we have to say thee.
We have to say thy.
Thy will be done, Lord.
Thy will be done.
And see, when we have this understanding, when we humble ourselves to God's will, that's another thing that we, as Christians, we have to learn how to be humble.
Humble and obedient.
And when we assume that characteristic from God, humbleness and obedience, God's going to use us in so many ways.
And I really see how God is going to bring together his people.
But I'm not naive to think that everybody is going to do the right thing according to the Lord's book.
That's why true Christians are a remnant.
But the remnant has power.
The remnant is what's going to make the difference in this country.
So we have to be wise enough to know When God is leading us, when He's bringing us together.
And God is bringing His people together right now because the need is there.
I mean, think about this, Candace.
If there wasn't a need for God to bring His people together, we wouldn't be having this interview.
That's exactly right.
This interview is by the divine intervention of the Lord.
God is bringing us together.
And so we have to have the right spiritual mind.
We have to have the mind of Christ to understand this.
Because it's not about us.
It's about Him.
And if we can get us out of the way, then sometimes, right, we can get ourself out of the way, He can move.
We can release His hands.
And so I think it's so important because a lot of times we want to do things ourselves, me included.
I'm the number one person.
I want to do it.
I'm a fixer.
That's why I became a counselor.
I want to help people.
I want to fix.
I want to fix and make things right.
But sometimes we have to be humble and say, you know what, God, I don't have the answer.
I don't know.
And go to prayer and go to fasting and go to listen to the Lord.
And he can give you wisdom infinitely in one second that it would take you years to gain if we'll just lean into him.
Exactly.
You know, there's another aspect that I want to point out, too.
You know, we got to stop saying, I'm too busy.
My plate is full.
What is your plate full of?
What are you doing?
You know, everybody's busy, but yet, look at the world.
Look at the world around us.
I mean, you know, you could be busy in your church, and that's where the devil wants you to be.
He wants you to stay busy in your church.
But the day you try to step out there, that's where the rubber meets the road, and that's where God wants us.
And don't get me wrong, you know, but we spend too much time In the closet, in the prayer closet, and yet the LGBT is out the closet.
We emphasize too much on prayer calls and Bible studies and all the other things.
And I'm not knocking these things, but if the Bible study, if the prayer meeting, if the intercessory prayer calls don't lead to action, then what's the point?
You see, we got to stop Doing things that we're comfortable doing.
We got to stop being safe.
We have to face the challenges that's out there.
God wants us to face the challenges.
You know, one thing I want to reference.
Think about this.
When you think about what's going on, how the government wants Christians to bend their knee.
Think about Nebuchadnezzar and that statue.
And Nebuchadnezzar represents government.
The three Hebrew young men, Sharat, Meshach, and Abednego, they represent God's people.
And what was significant about them?
They refused to bow.
And, you know, it's interesting.
The command was, when you hear the music, bow.
Well, we're not dancing to no one's music.
And we have to have that same example, the Shadrach, Meshach, and the Bendigo.
And when they were brought before the fiery furnace, okay, they faced certain death.
I mean, they were going to die.
Okay?
And they were given a challenge to either bow or go into the furnace.
And they said, no, we're going into the furnace.
But when they went to the furnace, who met them there?
Jesus.
And when they came out of that furnace, what was the result of when they came out the furnace?
Nebuchadnezzar himself changed the laws and declared that everyone must worship the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
God, we're in front of the furnace right now.
And we're going to go into the furnace.
But when we go in there, the Lord is going to be with us.
And we're going to come out.
And when we come out, the change will come again.
So we have to be bold.
And being bold is more than just speaking.
But it's about doing the work.
It's about showing the boldness.
Not worrying about what could be taken from you.
Look at the example of Shariah, Meshach, and Abednego.
Their lives, everything was going to be taken from them.
But it didn't matter.
They didn't care.
That's how showing their faith was.
And we serve the same God today.
I love that so much.
You don't even know.
That's the Lord's ministering to me through you today because I love that.
And I've never thought about Nebuchadnezzar representing government, but they came out without even the smell of smoke on them.
And you know, The enemy right now has everybody so scared to stand up to the government and the elites.
They have us so scared because it's like, oh, they're going to sue you.
If you say we need paper ballots, they're going to sue you.
If you say and you question anything, then they could take everything you have and you may get fired and you may get all these things.
And it's all a lie from the enemy because that's not our source anyway.
God is our source.
And so it's all a lie.
And we as people have to not bend our knee if it's to taking a shot that you don't want to take or if it's to voting in a voting system that you don't trust.
Whatever it is, the government in America is we the people.
And we decide.
It's a constitutional republic and we decide how we vote.
We decide the laws of our land and we decide morality, which is our whole constitution is founded on the word of God.
And so It's so powerful.
I was, after I ran for the governor race, and I've never told this, but I would be a minister to a couple months later at a Holy Spirit encounter meeting, and when I feel the Holy Spirit really strong, I laugh.
I have this supernatural laughter that comes up.
You know, some people cry, some people get quiet.
I laugh, but I can't help it.
My stomach will be hurting, and I just laugh.
Just joy comes up.
So I was been prayed for and I had laid down with two of my friends and we were all holding hands and in my laying there with the Lord, I saw the three of us in the fiery furnace and we were dancing around and Jesus was there.
When I sat up, my friend, she looked at me, she said, I just had a vision about the three Hebrew boys.
And I was like, are you kidding me?
I did too!
And we were laughing hysterically.
It's like in the face of this fire.
And we saw the same thing.
God showed us the same thing.
But it's interesting that you're saying that now because God was reminding me of that and was showing me and healing me from hurt I had during that election process that we the people run the show and the government doesn't win.
They can cheat.
They can steal.
But there's always a day of reckoning.
And I believe God is going to bring down this wicked system.
I mean, I already see the hand of God in all of this right now.
So it is incumbent upon us as Christians to come together because we need people like yourself to run for political office.
And we have to have you to win.
But, you know, All is not lost.
There's something great going on in Texas right now that we all need to get behind.
Texas is about passing legislation to have a chaplain in every school.
And not only a chaplain, but the Ten Commandments.
I love it.
And they're going to have it where children will have a half hour to read their Bibles.
So We need to get involved in this, and we need to spread this to all 50 states.
We need to make America a righteous nation again.
And it will happen.
It will happen.
You know, there are some people who will hear everything we have to say and just dismiss it.
But those of us, the lambs who hear God's voice, we're going to rally together.
God's going to bring us together.
I mean, there's one more thing that you said.
You were talking about being busy and the busyness of life.
And I was thinking, you know, if the enemy can't get you to cheat on your husband or your wife, and the enemy can't get you to do drugs and stick a needle in your arm, and the enemy can't get you to gossip and tear people down, and he can't get you to do those things and overeat and be a glutton, he's going to get you busy.
Because if he can get you busy, he can get you distracted from God's purpose and kingdom business.
And so you can even, like you said, you can even think you're doing kingdom business, but you can be so busy within your church that you're tired and you're doing it for the wrong reason, out of the wrong heart, and you're neglecting your family, you're neglecting yourself and your mental health, and you're not any good to anybody.
And so being busy is very dangerous.
Yeah, and being busy is really a cover.
Because, you know, it's easy to be busy in a church.
Because if you're in a church, you say amen.
Somebody's going to say amen with you.
But when you step outside the church, where people are going to call you names and whatever, that's what God wants us.
That's the challenge of our faith.
The church is where we get prepared to go out.
It's like going to a gas station.
You know, you fill your car with gas.
But wouldn't it be foolish if you had a full tank of gas and never go nowhere?
Yep.
That's what the church experiences today.
You know, we get so full of the Lord.
We get so full of the Spirit.
But we're not going anywhere.
We're not doing anything.
We're just busy in the four walls of the church.
And that's the scenario that has to change among Christians.
And the reason why we're so busy in church is because of fear.
If we really want to be honest, people are afraid to take a public stand for righteousness.
But we have to take a public stand for the Lord and His righteousness.
The church is the gas station.
But we have to go out there on the road.
Didn't Jesus say we have to go on the highways and the byways?
Didn't Jesus say that?
So, you know, All of this being busy in the church is really, that's where we just want to do our own thing.
We think we're doing the Lord a favor.
And we have to be careful because think about what the Lord said in his word.
People are going to say, they're going to stand before Jesus and they're going to say, Lord, Lord, we did great works in your name.
We cast out demons in your name.
See, the great works.
Yeah, you was busy, but you was busy doing your own thing.
What are you going to say?
I know you're not.
I never knew you.
So we got to stop fooling ourselves by being busy and just doing our own thing, what we want to do.
We just want to play safe.
No, we can't play safe.
We have to be bold Christians and go out there where the challenge is, where the fight needs to be fought.
And that's where God gets glory.
That's right.
We have to take it to the streets.
Take it to the M's.
Don't back down scared.
I love it.
Pastor Green, where can people find you?
They can find me on a MordecaiMission.com or.net and they can actually call me.
I'll give you the number.
They can call me at area code 917-302.
Let me repeat that.
They can call me at 917-302-3382.
And we'll put it on the bottom of the screen.
I appreciate you so much and your mission and what you're doing.
You're awesome.
I'm so thankful I got to meet you.
Everybody, this is Pastor William Green.
Do you have a closing word you want to say before we go?
Yes.
We have to realize that with everything that is going on, That this is God allowing persecution to come against this church.
But we must understand that persecution never leads to the defeat of God's people.
But it leads to the purpose being fulfilled.
So understand that as the people of God today, we're called to serve God in the midst of this chaos.
We are called for such a time as this.
Thank you so much, Pastor Green.
I love you.
I'm so glad that you came on the Jesus Guns and Babies.
Y'all tune in next week on the Stu Peters Network at 8 p.m.
Eastern Standard Time.
I'm Candice Taylor.
I love you.
God bless you and God bless America.
God bless you and God bless you and God bless you and God bless you and God bless you and We don't know what's coming, who knows, but regardless whether it's a hurricane, national disaster, or the whole government shuts down, they have awesome deals on freeze-dried food.
In fact, they have a new item, it's freeze-dried cans.
It's a lot less expensive than the big barrels.
