*Music* *Music* *Music* *Music* Teddy Daniels is running for the United States Congress from the state of Pennsylvania.
Before he became a politician, he served in Afghanistan where he was nearly killed.
Teddy Daniels is one of the few people running who seems like an interesting person and totally sincere, so we spent an hour talking to him on a brand new episode of Tucker Carlson today.
Here's part of that conversation.
It was hell.
If you could describe hell to somebody, that's what it would be like.
You never knew what was going to happen next.
Yeah.
Again, you know, boredom to sheer terror in a matter of seconds.
And, you know, we did a lot of work with the locals.
We interacted a lot with the Afghan kids and, you know, the villagers and...
The problem is, fighting in insurgency, you can't always tell the good guys from the bad guys, and I think that was the most stressful part of being over there.
You can't tell who's good and who's bad.
So you were wounded while there?
Yes, sir.
Yes, sir.
And I think we have video of that, which is sort of amazing.
You had a helmet cam?
Yes, sir.
Okay, so this is you in Afghanistan in a firefight.
Here we go That's you That's me.
Shocking.
That's a shocking video.
April 25th, 2012.
So tell us the context.
So we got pinned down.
I actually came out into the open to draw the fire away from our squad.
Started getting torn up with shrapnel, bullet fragments, things of that nature.
The rifle at the last part of the video that you showed, round actually came in the bottom of my 203 grenade launcher.
And that's what knocked the rifle out of my hands.
An AK-47 round?
Yes.
Geez.
Yeah, and the thing is, I was sliding in behind that rock in the video.
I had the rifle up in front of my face as I was sliding down, and that's where the round hit the 203.
You know, Tucker, if that rifle was not there at that second, at that moment, in front of my face as I'm getting down behind that rock, I'd have caught one.
I wouldn't be here today.
I wouldn't be here.
What happened to the rifle that saved your life?
Well, we got back to our outpost.
They obviously took the grenade launcher off.
I still had the rifle for the rest of the time that I was in country, but no grenade launcher.
You didn't get to frame the grenade launcher?
No, no, no.
Some supply guy somewhere probably has that in his collection.
I didn't get to keep that.
Did you think you were done when you got hit?
I'll tell you what.
I actually had a talk with God behind that rock.
I bet.
And...
I had a vision of two soldiers coming to tell my son that your dad was killed behind a rock in Afghanistan.
I said, okay, God, I get it.
This is it.
This is the day you bring me home.
I don't want my son knowing that I didn't go out fighting.
Yeah.
So the camera actually went dead.
And I reloaded.
I stood up.
I started working my way down that hill.
I had a round hit the corner of my eye protection.
They just shot right off of my face.
And then I had another round skip off the side of my helmet.
And I'm returning fire as I'm in the open now, just walking down the hill.
I'm bleeding from my arm, bleeding from my leg.
You're a big target.
Yeah, not a very fast one either.
So...
The entire time, though, Tucker, you know, when...
You shot your glasses off.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I accepted death, though.
I made my peace with God.
And honestly, I've never felt more peace in my life than I was walking down that mountain.
Never felt more peace.
So Teddy Daniels goes on to explain how he got from there to a congressional race in his home state of Pennsylvania and what he plans to do if he makes it to Congress.
It's great, actually.
That full interview is on foxnation.com.
We'll be right back.

Folks, how are you doing today?
And welcome to In the Trenches with Teddy Daniels.
As you can tell by that clip that we opened the show with...
Today, today's a very special day for me.
It was 11 years ago today that I faced death on the side of a mountain in Kunar province, Afghanistan.
Folks, I got to tell you, I talked yesterday about how precious life is.
And how many of us take it for granted?
And today, I want to talk to you about the journey that I had with that incident, with that episode, and give you a little bit of backstory.
I celebrate this day Every year for the past 11 years now, today being 11 years, that every day I get out of bed since April 25th, 2012, is only by the grace of God.
It's a second chance that God gave me in life.
And...
I'm thankful and I'm grateful.
Most vets who have been through situations like this call it their alive day.
I call it my second birthday.
And it means more to me today than my actual birthday.
You know folks, when we're born, When we go through life and we celebrate a birthday every year, a lot of things get taken for granted.
Until the time comes to where you don't think you're going to see another birthday.
You may not see another day or another minute or another second.
And unfortunately for me, this actually played out In front of the world, that helmet cam video that Tucker ran a portion of turned out to be the most viewed combat footage ever.
Multiple platforms, multiple posts.
It has close to over 200 million views.
A lot of comments.
A lot of critiques, a lot of criticisms, a lot of, you know, this guy was stupid, coming out from cover, to, you know, this guy's a hero, this guy this, this guy that.
Folks, I will tell you this.
I am not a hero.
The heroes are the men that never came home.
Those are the men that paid the ultimate sacrifice while wearing this nation's uniform.
I am the farthest thing from a hero.
And I truly believe that if any of the other men that I served with were in that same situation, in that same spot in the stack, On that mountain, they would have done the exact same thing.
I was just at that place at that time and had a decision to make.
So, before I get further into this, folks, I've got to talk about four patriots.
So, there's a lot going on in the world.
National security experts are warning our aging power grid is more vulnerable than ever.
January marked the third time a power station in North Carolina was damaged by gunfire.
And authorities are saying the attack raises a new level of threat.
Authorities are now checking our grid for vulnerabilities.
They've identified nine key substations.
Nine.
If these substations are attacked, power could be knocked out from coast to coast for up to 18 months.
Imagine this now.
A blackout lasting not days, but weeks or months.
A complete and total blackout.
You'd be frozen in time right at the moment that the power fails.
Lights all over the country would go out, throwing people into total darkness.
That's why having your own portable power station is now more important than ever.
With the Patriot Power Sidekick from 4 Patriots, you get a solar generator that doesn't install into your house.

Now, folks, keep in mind, when this hit...
This was on the front page, Sunday edition, Washington Post, New York Times, New York Post.
Every major news outlet in the country covered it.
Once they identified who I was, I had offers to go on every talk show, every late night show in the country.
I had reporters calling my father.
I told my father, I said, Dad, don't give my number out to anybody.
Please.
They're going to find you.
They're going to hound you.
Do not give my number out.
I really want my privacy in dealing with my recovery and dealing with everything that I'm dealing with, with this.
And hey, he's my dad.
He ended up getting, I forget, he was a famous reporter.
I'm in the hospital and my cell phone rings and it was, I forget, there were so many of them.
It was a big name reporter.
And I told him, thank you, I'm not interested in talking to anybody.
Thank you for reaching out.
Then my dad calls me.
Hey, you'll never guess who just called the house.
I said, let me take a wild guess, dad.
I said, please don't give out my number.
Oh, God bless his soul.
My father gone a few years now.
Still puts a smile on when I think about some of the dumb shit that he did, but man, that was my dad.
Let's run this full uncut video and then I'll give you guys the back story on what went down.
folks, on April 24th, 2012, we went and spent the night at an Afghan army outpost right on the edge of the Bedell Valley.
Thank you.
Now, we were at a point in the war, and then 2010, 2011, 2012, I think, were the three years of the highest casualties in Afghanistan.
I was in Kunar province.
That's where 80% of Of all the ordnance dropped in Afghanistan was dropped.
It was in Kunar.
It was the most kinetic area of the country.
A film that was, well, a couple films for Strepo was filmed in Kunar province.
Lone Survivor with Marcus Luttrell happened in Kunar province.
And when I said on Tucker that it was pure hell, it was pure hell.
So we rolled into a small shithole, it looked like a dump, Afghan Army outpost that night.
We stayed up on watch all night right at the base of this valley.
And in the morning, had a lieutenant, had two sergeants come down there, and he said, hey, we're going to push back into that valley.
Afghan Army was like, we ain't going back there.
You have lost your mind.
The place is a hornet's nest.
We are not going back there.
This lieutenant told the two sergeants, hey, put a plan together in five minutes.
We're going to take a squad back into that village.
Man, let me tell you, it was bad juju from the jump.
So it was eight of us climbed a ridge line, went over, sat at the edge of the ridge, Watch the village, maybe half hour, 40 minutes.
There was no movement.
They knew we were coming.
Normally when you go into a village and you see kids running around and stuff like that, you know you're going to be pretty safe.
When you're watching a village and there's no movement, it's like a ghost town.
You know it's going to hit the fan.
Now folks, I had been in numerous gunfights over there.
Lieutenant said, hey, instead of taking the ridge line back, let's head down over the face of this ridge.
So we headed down in the open towards the village.
He was about 20 yards in front of me and to my left.
I was second in the stack.
And before the rest could move down from behind cover, they just completely opened up on us.
And the guys up top took cover.
I was able to take the small amount of cover I could take at the time and return fire.
Lieutenant was out in the open on the ground.
Rounds were pinging off rocks around them.
And I made a call.
I made a call.
If we sit here, we're going to get chewed up.
So my call was to move down and to the right to draw some gunfire away so the squad can then come out from behind cover and return gunfire, return fire.
The lieutenant got back up to the top and directed the squad down over the side of the bridge.
I was left hanging on the face of that mountain with the entire village opening up on me.
I got to that rock and you saw in the video how close the rounds were coming to me.
I took part of a round in the back of my right leg, took one in my left shin and Got behind that rock, and like I said on Tucker, when I was coming down from behind that rock, round hit my grenade launcher right there at that point.
Blew the grip off, blew a hole in the bottom of my grenade launcher, knocked the rifle out of my hands.
I reached out to grab my rifle.
Rocks are hitting on the, or rounds are hitting on the rocks behind me, and they're ricocheting back into me.
So I caught some ricocheted rounds in my right shoulder, my right arm.
I have shrapnel in my elbow joint.
I have shrapnel in my finger joints.
I have shrapnel in this elbow joint.
I have shrapnel in my knee joints.
I actually had to get my knees cleaned out from shrapnel.
And I did.
I had a talk with God.
And...
I'd never been through anything like that before.
So when I had my talk with God, the camera had gone dead.
I put a fresh magazine in.
I stood up and started working my way down the face of that hill towards the village.
And I'm firing back.
And it seems like it's only been 11 years, folks.
The funny thing is, sitting here talking to you, feels like it was just yesterday.
And I'm firing back.
And I'm on target.
And the whole time I'm thinking, anytime, this is going to be it.
Lord, let me catch one in the face.
Let me catch one in the neck.
Don't hit me to where I can't move.
You know, because if I go down, I will expend my ammo.
I had a K-bar knife on me.
And I'm thinking if they try to flank me, They try to come up with me.
The last thing I wanted was for my body to be drugged through the streets on TV. I didn't want my kids to see that.
I had one full magazine left, and I had my K-Bar knife, and the whole time I'm thinking in my head, if I go down, if I run out of ammo, I got my knife.
And if they're going to come up and they're going to try to take me, I'm going to kill as many of them as I can.
They can go see their God and I'll go see mine.
But I fought my way down, made it to the trucks.
We stopped at the Afghan outpost to where the medics, well the medics actually started, ate on me in the back of the truck.
We got to the outpost, they got me out of the truck.
And I'll never forget, I had a brass casing embedded in my leg from around.
And this medic, good kid, real good kid, let me tell you, young, he's shaking.
He's shaking as he's got his Leatherman tool.
And he's like, Daniels, this is going to hurt.
This is going to hurt.
As he goes to try to grab this, I guess the copper casing from the round it was, was still a piece of the round in it.
Out of my quadricep.
And I told him, I said, brother, just give it to me.
I'll yank it out.
And I yanked that right out of there.
And he's applying dressing and everything else.
So as it turns out, the Taliban did end up flanking and they were up on the ridgeline across from this little outpost.
I'm actually sitting on the ground with a medic working on my leg as we're taking fire from the ridgeline now.
And I'm firing my rifle back.
And I told him, I said, brother, don't worry, I got you.
You just do what you're doing.
I got you.
Then once we suppressed that fire, we got back in the trucks and we came back to my outpost and they took me in.
I have a picture I have to find that somebody took.
I'm laying on a table.
I have IVs in me.
There were six medics around me.
Pulling out fragments, stopping the bleeding.
Part of my fingernails were gone.
My knuckles were bleeding from when the round hit the grenade launcher.
And that kind of blew everything back on my left hand.
We had an ODA team attached with us, Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha, Green Berets.
And I see this big, bearded, burly medic Walked through the door and he goes, I'm higher trained.
I'm taking over.
And that was a sigh of relief.
Our medics were great.
They really were.
But to have somebody of that level trained medically come in and proceed to take over felt good.
And they had steel wool.
They had to scrub all the rock fragments and shrapnel out of my arm and my legs and everything else.
You know, they had to go in with pliers and tweezers to pull out bullets and bullet fragments all over the right side of my body.
And when that was all said and done, you know, I asked the medic, I said, can you get everybody out?
My vest, my uniform is covered in blood.
Round had hit my helmet.
A round had came so close, it actually hit the corner of my eye protection and blew them right off my face.
And the emotion hadn't hit me yet.
It was just pure adrenaline.
And I asked the medic, can you get everybody out?
He got everybody out, and that's when the realization that I was almost killed set in.
Now, folks, I'm not embarrassed or ashamed to admit this.
I was a 37-year-old man, and I sat up on that cot, and I cried.
I realized that I could have just died.
None of the other gunfights, you know, I was hit.
You know, it was just a big rush afterwards with everybody high-fiving and How many did we smoke?
But this one, it wasn't a game.
War is real.
And I went to my hooch.
I laid down.
I'm covered in bandaging.
Half of my uniform was cut off or torn off or ripped off.
The next day, I'm limping.
Out to our CO's hooch to where the patrol roster was listed.
And I didn't see my name on the patrol roster, so I bang on the door and said, sir.
He's like, Daniels, how you doing?
How you feeling today, man?
You need a couple days rest.
I said, sir, my name's not on the patrol roster.
And the CO looked at me.
And he goes, Daniels, you should have died of lead poisoning yesterday with the amount of stuff that you had in you.
He goes, you fought your ass off.
He goes, you need a day to recover.
You need a couple days to recover.
And I told him, I said, sir, respectfully, I need to go back out.
And he goes, why?
Why do you want to go back out?
I said, sir, because I feel that if I don't go back out today, I won't be able to go back out again.
He goes, well, okay.
You can run the 50 in the truck.
So I was in the turret with the 50 cal.
And I grabbed my gear, all bloodstained.
My boots covered in dried blood.
I said my vest, blood, my gloves covered in blood.
Everything I had on my uniform was covered in blood.
And young guys were waiting out there by the trucks.
And they saw me walking out and they were like, holy shit.
Like, this dude's nuts.
And I'm going to be honest with you, as I I was reaching for the door handle of that truck the next day.
My hand was shaking.
It was shaking.
And I knew I had to get up in that turret.
Guys, I was hurting.
Like, I was hurting bad.
I was in some serious pain.
But I needed to go back out.
Wasn't it John Wayne who said if you fall off a horse, you gotta get right back on?
I fell off a horse, folks, and I knew I had to get back on.
And I did.
I got up in the turret as we're leaving the outpost.
You know, I felt my heart start beating a little more than it usually did.
And it was a good mission.
It was a successful operation.
You know, I ended up coming back and...
I had about 26 surgeries.
The VA actually wanted to amputate my right leg.
I fought the VA and I was able to keep my leg, but my right foot I can't use.
It's pretty much all metal.
It's plates and screws and everything else because of the damage that was done.
I talked about the knees being cleaned out.
The shrapnel removal from my body.
And that was the physical end.
The mental end was a journey.
I never believed in PTSD. I thought PTSD was for the weak of mind.
Until I found myself not being able to sleep.
And this is when I was out.
I found myself patrolling my house at 3 o'clock in the morning.
I found myself with the flashbacks, the nightmares, the cold sweats, the reliving all of the death that I saw in my dreams.
Loud noises, short temper.
Folks, that was a fight to come back from.
And it took a long time to come back from that.
PTSD is something that'll never be cured, but you learn how to cope and deal with it.
And folks, I have mellowed.
You know, when I first got back to Colorado in between surgeries, I'd be out.
I would fight at the drop of a hat like it didn't take much.
It didn't take much at all.
I was not the same person that I am now.
I went through some cognitive therapy.
The doctor told me, he goes, Teddy, he goes, your mind changes when you see heavy combat.
He goes, you're trying to remember the exact words that he uses.
He goes, you're primal Way that your brain thinks.
He goes, people have fight, flight, or freeze.
He goes, yours is obviously set on fight mode because that's what kept you alive.
You know, folks, whenever we had a threat, whenever somebody would fire a pop shot at us or we'd get in a full-blown balls-deep gun battle, It was you lay down superior firepower and you win that fight.
That's what kept me alive.
When I got back to the civilian world, it was anything that I saw as a threat, I would automatically attack and gain superiority.
I could be out at a bar with some buddies that I served with.
And some dude would bump into me, and it would be on.
That's how bad it got.
And it took a long time.
It really did.
It took a long time to come back from that, and I'm thankful.
I'm grateful that I was able to come back from that.
Folks, let's take a quick break.
We're going to come right back.
Trump made a bold statement recently.
He said he could end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours without going after Russia.
He says Russia is not the enemy, but this is, and it's currently targeting the U.S. as we speak.
The enemy wants to control us, our bank accounts, our assets, and practically enslave every U.S. citizen.
It's part of their sick and twisted plan.
Folks, this goes way beyond the failing banks.
And the worse that the recession gets.
According to experts, this event is the closest thing to a rapture we have ever seen, yet no news stations are covering it.
A new video that's out there actually shines the light on a dangerous situation.
It exposes who the enemy is, their diabolical plan, and An effective strategy to hedge against this upcoming disaster.
Folks, visit darkagedefense.com backslash teddy to watch this controversial video.
It's currently streaming online for free.
It might get canceled soon.
Folks, watch it now before they take it down from everywhere.
The cancel culture is nuts.
Watch it while you can.
Folks, darkagedefense.com backslash teddy.
Link in the description.
Go watch.
Go see what's going on.
All right, folks.
We're back.
Thanks for bearing with me there for a minute.
You know, like I said, it's been a journey.
It was something that I never thought that I'd ever experienced.
And because of the helmet cam that recorded this whole thing, the entire world has seen it.
Here's a clip from CNN.
I also want to give you an update on a story that we first brought to you last year and I think you'll remember it because the video was nothing short of dramatic.
I'm hit!
I'm hit!
Dramatic and real and true.
A soldier in Afghanistan, his helmet cam catching the moment he went under fire.
This is action, the real kind.
Anonymous at the time, the soldier crying out over and over to his platoon, I'm hit.
He intentionally took on fire to try to draw the fire away from his mates.
And now we know who he is.
And also, we know that he felt embarrassed that this video went viral.
That was a vulnerable moment for me right there.
I kind of pride myself on being a tough guy.
Not once in my life have I ever cried out like that.
And ever.
Why then?
I thought I was going to die.
Private First Class Ted Daniels, that's his name, the military had told him to keep quiet after that video went viral, but now the military is letting him talk.
Daniels says that he never wanted the video to go public and that he even intended to get YouTube to take it down.
And I said, listen, can you please just take this video down?
It's gonna end up bringing a lot of heat on me.
It's not something that I really want.
Please remove it.
Never got a reply.
Now, in fact, he was appealing to the person who posted it on YouTube and didn't get the reply.
After that camera shot went dead, Daniels ran for the armored vehicle.
It was about a 300-yard dash under fire, and he was already bleeding from his arms and his hands.
There was a lot of shrapnel that hit him, and on the way, he was hit again.
This time, a bullet grazed his helmet.
He also talked about how he felt afterwards and about his effort to draw that enemy fire away from his fellow soldiers.
We all made it out, and, you know, we all made it to fight another day.
And it felt good.
Daniel said that after he watched the video for the first time, he could not sleep for days, and here's something else.
He still has not shown that to his two kids.
So...
Probably...
One of the most incredible things that has happened because of that experience, I actually have a letter here from President Trump, which I thought was incredible.
I'll put this up here, show you guys.
All right.
I'm going to read this to you.
So my Purple Heart that I received from my wounds that day, Sitting on President Trump's desk, to me that's an honor.
He says, Dear Teddy, thank you for your gracious gesture in your Purple Heart, awarded for your unwavering valor and bravery in Afghanistan.
I will forever treasure this medal as a profound reminder of your unyielding commitment to our great country.
You upheld the sacred pledge to protect our nation.
Defending your fellow soldiers with unfailing loyalty, selfless purpose, and steadfast courage.
Your honorable service in the United States Army is worthy of every American's admiration, and your indelible legacy will never be forgotten.
Our nation is strong because of hardworking patriots like you, who believe in and defend the great American ideals of faith, family, community, and country first.
I will never stop fighting for the America you and I cherish, And I am proud to have your continued support and encouragement.
May God bless you and your family.
With very best wishes, Donald J. Trump.
You know, President Trump saw that same video that we played earlier.
He knows the backstory of what happened.
And to get that from President Trump was a true honor.
And I feel that, you know, yes, I have kids.
And I could either pass down a Purple Heart or I could pass down a letter from the President about my Purple Heart down through my bloodline.
You know, like, how cool would it be, you know, when I was a kid if...
You know, somebody brought into school, hey, my great-great-great-grandfather got this letter from Abraham Lincoln for what he did in the Civil War.
Like, my great-great-great-grandkids.
Like, this now is a family heirloom.
And I'm proud of that.
I really am.
Now, that day changed my life.
I started taking risks and chances.
I started to, I think a lot of folks call it red-pilled, disconnect from societal standards.
I think the one thing that it did for me is, I do know that every man deep down in his soul has certain questions about That he will ask himself, boy, if this situation ever happened, how would I really react?
What would I really do?
You know, I was fortunate enough to have those questions answered.
And that gave me peace.
It truly, truly, truly gave me peace.
And when I decided to jump into politics, And then now into the media end of things.
Folks, I get attacked by lunatics every single day.
Every day.
Oh, they even attack my service.
That's how classy these folks are.
After being through what I've been through, And the journey that I've been on.
And I told you my recovery physically and mentally from what happened was not an easy one.
It was a very difficult recovery.
But I kind of look at a lot of things now and I'm just able to laugh it off.
That really doesn't matter.
Like you can't do anything to me at this point.
That can break me.
I've already been broken and rebuilt.
You can't break me anymore.
You know, I have the liberal media that comes after me nonstop.
I have literal crazies and lunatics that are always shooting their mouth off.
You have the establishment GOP, which comes after me.
Folks, it's like I'm wearing a shield of armor.
Like, you can't hurt me.
I've been through too much.
You can't hurt me.
No matter what you say to me, no matter what you do to me, you can't break me.
You can't hurt me.
And I think that's the silver lining to this whole thing is it definitely made me so much stronger.
To where things just don't bother me like they used to.
You know, you got to pick your fights, folks.
And then God.
God did save me that day.
I equate it to the movie.
I'm sure a lot of you have seen it.
Pulp Fiction with Samuel Jackson.
When they're in that apartment, eats the guy's kahuna burger.
The guy comes out of the closet and fires six shots at him.
And they all hit around the wall behind them and he goes, you know what that is?
That's divine intervention.
Folks, I honestly believe that's what happened to me.
I truly believe God put his hand down and protected me and guided me off that mountain and kept me safe and saved my life.
There were a lot of times since then I would say to God, why did you save me to, and this was obviously during my healing process, why did you save me to have me go through all this pain?
Now, I know God has a plan for me.
I don't know what it is.
Is it this?
I don't know.
Is it politics?
I don't know.
Is it being the best dad I can be?
I don't know.
All I know is that I put my faith in God because he saved my life that day.
And I wake up every morning and I put my two feet on the floor and I thank him because every day for the past 11 years now, It's been a true blessing and a true gift.
And it's been an incredible 11 years.
Folks, I have gone from almost nothing to doing very well.
And I thank God for that.
You know, I think sometimes if we just let go and trust in the Lord, And have him put us where he wants to put us, everything's going to work out just fine.
So, today, April 25th, 2023, is my 11th birthday.
And I'm grateful.
And I'm happy to be here.
And I'm happy...
To share this with you.
Folks, you know, a lot of you have been tuning in for a long time, and I kind of look at you as being family at this point.
And I've shared a lot of stuff on here with you.
And, you know, I try my best not to get emotional.
Today's a good day.
And folks, even without Going through the experience that I've gone through.
Take it from me.
Life can be gone tomorrow.
You have to get up every day, be thankful, and live each and every day as if it were your last on Earth.
You know, mend relationships, be a good person, be a generous person.
And live your dream.
And trusting God to lead you down that path.
I never thought I'd be doing this.
Never in a million years did I think I'd be fortunate enough to have a show on the Stu Peters Network.
Never thought I'd be on Tucker Carlson.
Never thought I'd meet the President.
Never thought I'd ever be able to do a lot of things until I just let go.
I said, Lord, what do I do?
Guide me.
He's not going to give it to you.
It's going to be a painful journey.
But if you have faith and you believe, you'll get there.
So, folks, it's an honor.
Truly is an honor to share this with you.
And thanks for tuning in today on my 11th birthday.
It means the world to me.
It really does.
It's a day of reflection for me.
Not just on what happened that day, but on the journey with the surgeries and the Everything else to get to where I am and the successes that I've had since then.
I'm not going to lie to you.
Before that, could you call me a screw-up?
Can you call me misguided?
Maybe.
I didn't know where I was in life.
I didn't know what I wanted to do.
I was a cop.
I would always go to the next apartment that was paying more money.
You know, this experience grounded me.
And I just want to be the best man I can be every day when I get out of bed.
And it's a shame that it took that experience to teach me that lesson.
So for all of you, when you get out of bed in the morning, just be the best person you can be.
Love your family.
Love your neighbors.
And go do, go accomplish, go achieve.
Ask God to guide you in the right direction and have faith and it'll happen.
Folks, I want to thank you all for tuning in again today.
