Has been calling us for the past two, three years, if not longer, conspiracy theories.

Folks, I'm a little fired up this morning and started this episode with Just Got Paid by ZZ Top because, boy, the news that's coming out now, I feel like I just got paid.
Three years of being called a conspiracy theorist and a nut job and everything else by all these asshats in the liberal media, yet again, they get debunked.
So as you know, the Energy Department and the FBI recently said that more than likely the COVID virus Originated from a lab!
Well no shit!
You mean to tell me people are running around eating raw bats and they got some freaking, some virus?
Where's the animal of origin?
Show me other bats with COVID-19!
Nope!
We said unequivocally it had to have come from a lab.
President Trump and his administration unequivocally said it had to have come from a lab.

Now the federal government is finally saying more likely than not that it came from a lab.

And more and more and more, it's coming out.
No, this didn't originate from bats.
This was a bioweapon.
Leaked from a lab.
Now, folks, I don't rely on the national media for shit.
So, folks, a lot of times I get news sources from outside of America.
And the BBC, eh, you know what, though?
They don't have their Democrat...
conservative swing on things as heavy as they do in the United States.
So I found a video from the BBC, and this was a year ago, almost two years ago.
Let's run this video.
The idea that Covid might have leaked from a lab isn't new.
Indeed, last year, as the outbreak grew, it was Chinese scientists who were among the first to register their concerns.
And then it leaked out that American diplomats had visited the Wuhan Institute of Virology, recording their safety concerns not that long before.
In Wuhan, it was an issue that was raised in a cable from the State Department.
It was raised by staff themselves at the Institute, highlighting that it is a less prioritized area.
There's not proper funding going into developing a safety culture around biological research and dealing with dangerous pathogens.
But given the enormity of the crisis that soon enveloped the world, scientists wanted evidence but had to rely on hypothesis.
Many considered the likeliest explanation was zoonotic transmission, the virus jumping the species barrier as SARS, MERS and Ebola had.
From an early stage, the World Health Organization favored the theory of transmission from animals.
Scientists who questioned that idea faced professional recriminations.
Well, they seem to all assume that the zoonosis theory hypothesis was clearly correct.
Indeed, there was a bias of over 90% that that was so obvious other alternatives weren't worth looking at.
The problem with the zoonotic theory is that even after all this time, China's been unable to produce evidence, a genome of a virus living in animals that spawned COVID-19 in humans.
It is true that 18 months on, or nearly 18 months on, that we don't know more about the natural origins of the virus.
We can come to whether it came from the Wuhan lab, but our first reflex would be, well, where is the similar virus in animals?
And we do not know.
For the first SARS virus, we knew within one year, and that was more than 15 years ago, our technology is so much more powerful.
It is surprising.
The Chinese Embassy has given Newsnight a statement.
They say, we reject firmly the politicization of the virus origin tracing by some US politicians.
There is no evidence that the virus leaked from Chinese laboratories.
Now, it would have helped their case if during the past 18 months of so many people looking for a natural source of the virus transmitting from animals to humans, one had been found.
But it hasn't.
Efforts by the World Health Organization, including February's visit to Wuhan, have not brought any sort of closure.
Although lacking in clear answers, some members of the panel dismissed the lab leak idea.
I've yet to see any evidence at all of a lab leak or a lab involvement in this outbreak, and I have seen substantial evidence.
That these are naturally occurring phenomena...
But Dr Daszak's business had been giving the Wuhan lab money for research, leading some to claim there was a possible conflict of interest.
The research going on there included gain-of-function experiments, deliberate genetic manipulation in order to produce something that will spread among humans, a field of research questioned by some of the world's leading virologists.
This gain of function is sort of a red herring.
It's a pipe dream.
It sounds wonderful, the idea of predicting the next pandemic, making a vaccine, making drugs to nip the next pandemic in the bud.
It doesn't bear up to scientific scrutiny.
Therefore, as it's not going to produce anything, what is the point of making Viruses that now can, animal adapting viruses that can affect humans and there's no benefit.
There's a finite small risk of these viruses maybe escaping or infecting humans and zero benefit.
Recent emails have emerged between Dr Anthony Fauci, the American health supremo, and Dr Daszak, in which the latter praised Dr Fauci's bravery in rejecting the lab-link theory.
It's also clear that Dr Fauci had backed US government grants to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to look at possible future pandemic strains, experiments involving genetic manipulation.
Now, the investigator brought in last autumn by the State Department to search for the origins of the human COVID-19 virus has alleged that the probe was sidelined because of that American funding at Wuhan and that the virus itself was highly likely the product of gain-of-function experiments.
So that backbone was present.
And then, totally bizarrely, it was combined with the receptor-binder domain of a pangolin, like an armadillo.
How do they get together?
But then, even more disturbingly, we found the so-called furrin cleavage site, or scientists found, of a human being, perhaps conveyed via humanized mice.
The odds of this genetic combination coming together were calculated as one in the millions by one national lab and another private, actually university laboratory we consulted with, said it was something like 13.8 billion.
That interpretation of the virus as man-made is still not accepted though by many scientists.
So the question now with these competing theories is can there ever be closure?
Solid evidence of animal transmission could still emerge.
As to intelligence material or a Wuhan whistleblower, that might happen, but it could just spark a fresh war of words.
I think it's not just a problem between China and the outside world.
It's really a global phenomenon that needs to be addressed at the international level.
So we need to put in place some sort of international oversight mechanism of these labs.
We need somebody, an international body that has a mandate to keep track of these labs.
That's a project for the years ahead, not made any easier by the rival narratives over COVID and its disastrous consequences.
So folks, a couple things on this video.
I got questions.
Should there be a 9-11 Commission style investigation on COVID? To investigate the origins, and then the subsequent failed response by the government.
Big question a lot of people have, will Fauci ever be held accountable?
I think he needs to be, folks.
His expert analysis...
Close businesses.
Close schools.
Put people out of jobs.
Forced vaccinations, bioweapons on people that cost them their lives.
What kind of accountability do I feel there should be for Fauci?
Folks, originally he just dismissed.
He just dismissed the lab theory.
No, it came from a bat.
Came from a bat.
You want to know why he dismissed the lab theory?
Because Fauci was praised for his bravery in rejecting the lab leak theory.
Fauci also backed U.S. money for gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China.
He backed it!
Those are the folks that lined his pockets, just like the pharma companies lined his pockets.
Folks, we know politicians are scumbags and they're for sale every day.
It's a shame to see somebody who should be regarded as a medical professional or a doctor be bought the same, the same exact way.
And folks, it's all about the money.
It's always all about the money.
But I do.
I feel so good that this stuff is finally coming out.
And as far as Fauci, death penalty for what he did to this country, for what he did to millions of Americans, you can't just F up something that big.
That has to be intentional.
If from the beginning he came out and said, you know what, we have to keep our options open, we need to take a look at all probabilities and all causes and every single one of those will be investigated thoroughly, he dismissed the lab theory as a bioweapon.
Dismissed it.
And then he lined his pockets For millions of people across the world, hundreds of millions of people across the world, to get the bioweapon.
Because believe it or not, folks, the rest of the world tends to follow what the United States does.

Well, I found this video.
Two years ago, MSNBC, from candy-ass Chris Hayes.
Let's run this.
At least two separate things are true about the Chinese government and the coronavirus.
One is that the Chinese government really did fail in the early parts of the outbreak quite catastrophically.
Author and professor at UNC Chapel Hill, Zeynep Tufeky, suggests it may have been like what happened in the Soviet Union with Chernobyl, where the truth goes, does not get up the chain to the leaders because of the fear of passing along bad news and a refusal to believe the worst.
Quote, Hubei authorities may have lied not just to the public, but also upward to the central government.
The second thing that's true is the Trump administration clearly, in the crassest, most obvious way, wants to turn this crisis into a kind of rhetorical hammer they can wield against China in order to obscure their own Chinese government-like failings by blaming someone else.
Now, something you probably have heard from a certain corner of the right is this theory that the coronavirus, quote, escaped from the lab.
It looks like there is evidence that this virus escaped from the lab.
This notion that this escape from a lab actually, I think, is supported by the vast majority of the science that we see out there.
Circumstantial evidence is now surfacing in the intelligence community that the coronavirus, COVID-19, the SARS-CoV-2 virus did escape from the Wuhan lab.
Now, a lot of people on the right love that phrase, escape from the lab, because it sounds like something from a Marvel movie or a comic book.
It sounds like they're talking about a man-made virus that China was weaponizing that got out of control.
Which is what Secretary of State, the Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo, seemed to imply over the weekend and then had to immediately walk back.
Do you believe it was man-made or genetically modified?
But the best experts so far seem to think it was man-made.
I have no reason to disbelieve that at this point.
Your office of the DNI says the consensus, the scientific consensus, was not man-made or genetically modified.
That's right.
I agree with that.
Yeah, I've seen their analysis.
I've seen the summary that you saw that was released publicly.
I have no reason to doubt that that is accurate.
Now, I'm going to chalk that up to some sort of connection failure there, but it did seem like the Secretary of State said, yes, it's man-made, and then a second later saying, yes, that's correct, it's not man-made.
And to be clear, when they say escape from the lab, it doesn't mean a man-made bioweapon that got out.
Both scientists and the U.S. intelligence community agree that this coronavirus was not man-made.
That is not a possibility.
It came from a natural source.
It didn't come from a lab.
People have looked at the genes.
The transmission was likely from animal to human.
Even Dr.
Anthony Fauci, a member of the President's Coronavirus Task Force, said there is no scientific evidence the coronavirus was made in a Chinese lab.
Now, we still do not exactly know how it made its way to humans, but that is not part of Trump TV's escape from the lab theory.
What they are talking about is Chinese scientists, public health officials, virologists at a virology lab, hard at work to prepare their country and the world for the possibility of a novel coronavirus, studying one, maybe that came from bats or another animal, and then in the process of studying it, somehow tragically contracting the virus unbeknownst to them and then spreading it.
Now, I should tell you right now there's no evidence of this.
Certainly no concrete evidence.
If it were true that this Wuhan virology lab was studying this and then someone got infected and they infected everyone else, it would be heartbreakingly tragic, but also weirdly exculpatory for the Chinese government.
And here's why.
Because one of the early, more plausible theories to emerge, I think there's more evidence for it, was that the wildlife wet market in Wuhan was where the virus first made its species jump from an animal and human.
And here's the thing.
Wildlife wet markets are generally places where all kinds of fairly exotic, live animals are stored in very close quarters, and then slaughtered on site.
And it would not be the first time that this happened.
Wet markets such as these have been implicated in previous outbreaks of coronaviruses, including the SARS outbreak.
And public health authorities within China and outside of China have been for a long time railing against wildlife wet markets as essentially global biohazards.
But the Chinese government has refused to shut them down permanently.
And that, more likely, is the theory that makes the Chinese government look worse.
Like, the theory that it came out of one of these web markets is the one that makes the Chinese government look like they really screwed up.
Because it means the Chinese government defied public health concerns, urgings of their own public health folks in China.
And they kept those markets open and unleashed a global pandemic.
And if that's true, I think that's the far more insidious version.
While the escape from a lab theory is a story of scientists hard at work trying to save the world from a global pandemic and then tragically managing to release it, it's a kind of benign but tragic story.
But here's the thing.
None of the facts matter here because they like that phrase escape from the lab so much in China.
And so the Trump administration is so desperately grasping at straws, trying to find someone to blame.
They don't even seem to understand what they themselves are saying.
They just want a convenient scapegoat.
You know, folks, the funny thing about that is all these liberal media outlets, what they do is they reference other liberal media outlets.
In that Chris Hayes piece, he cited The Guardian, Vox, and The Independent.
All straight-up liberal trash outlets.
Publications.
Straight up liberal, 99% bias, maybe half a percent fact, and the other half percent, I guess, is ink.
It's all propaganda.
It's liberal propaganda.
So what they do is these conglomerates get together, they talk about putting a story out, and then they cite each other to make their story appear more credible!

So the government could not then use the press to target people.

This has got to be one of the times, probably the only time ever, in the history of this nation where the weak, the corrupted, and the betas are in charge and run everything.

When we want to know something, we seek out the knowledge of where to find the truth.
Those on the left turn on NPR in their car or watch CNN in the morning and they're told what to believe.
That's the difference, people.
Those of us on the right don't just follow the crowd.
We do our own homework.
We do our own research and we find out what's really going on.
Those on the left Oh, what's the truth on this?
What does CNN tell me?
CNN's been wrong.
All the liberal media out there has been wrong, and a lot of the conservative media out there has been wrong, too.
So, it's going to be coming down the pike, people.

There's a lot of cloudiness around the origins of COVID-19 still.
So I wanted to ask, are you still confident that it developed naturally?
No, I'm not convinced about that.
I think that we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we find out, to the best of our ability, exactly what happened.
This question about the Wuhan lab, we know that it's been debunked that this virus was man-made or modified or anything like that.
Coronavirus was man-made in a lab in Wuhan, China.
And yet, this week, Donald Trump is still pushing the debunked bunkum.
My question is, have you seen anything at this point that gives you a high degree of confidence that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was the origin of this virus?
Yes, I have.
Yes, I have.
It's clearly the case that Trump is divorced from the facts.
He does not face reality or the facts.
Coming up with a conspiracy theory to try and foment xenophobia.
He can't sit back and let his own intel community do their jobs.
He's always got to go out.
He's got to speculate.
He's got to make things worse.
And then there's this theory, widely debunked, this paper from two Chinese researchers that says it is plausible that the virus leaked accidentally from one of two labs near the Wuhan seafood market.
People don't keep bats in caps.
It's a complete baloney.
We don't need to invoke conspiracy theories.
It's just basic biology.
The conspiracy theories fill the void.
I'm telling you the Chi-Coms are trying to weaponize this thing.
Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh with zero proof suggesting a Chinese bioweapon lab is to blame.
A Chinese official tweeting, it might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan.
The New York Times reporting, quote, the lab has been the focus of unfounded conspiracy theories promoted by the Trump administration about the pandemic's origins.
Washington Post, those geniuses, called it a conspiracy theory that was already debunked.
PolitiFact also labeled it a debunked conspiracy theory.
One Voice, Fake News CNN, they called it a conspiracy theory that, quote, almost certainly is not true.
