the Trenches with Teddy Daniels.
In the Trenches
I want to go.
you mean?
Welcome to the jungle.
We're taking day by day.
If you want, you're gonna believe on the prize you pay.
And you're a very sick girl.
Very humble.
You can take some bright lights, but you won't get there for free.
In the jungle.
Well, you know the jungle will be my, my, my, my, my serenity.
I want to hear you scream.
I want to hear you scream.
It gets worse here every day.
Learn to live like an animal in the jungle where we play.
If you've got to hook up for what you see, take it eventually.
You can't have anything you want, but you better not take it from me.
In the jungle.
Welcome to the jungle.
Welcome to your knees.
Knees.
I'm gonna watch you sleep When you're high, you never fall You're gonna come down, come down Slow down, slow down
No! No! No! No! No! No!
guitar solo
guitar solo You in the jungle, baby You coming down
In the jungle Welcome to the jungle Won't you bring it to you?
In the jungle Welcome to the jungle My, my, my My 17 Diablo Welcome to the jungle Won't you bring it to you?
All right, folks.
Welcome to the Trenches with Teddy Daniels.
Welcome to the jungle!
Because that's what we're in today, folks.
It's a jungle.
And it's a jungle down in D.C. where only a few can survive.
A few have the integrity, the cojones to stand up and do what's right for the American people.
Folks, I got a great one for you today.
I told you earlier in the week, we got some great guests coming on.
Folks, I got to start.
I got to start by thanking Gold Co.
for coming in, supporting this program, supporting what we do, for being all in for free speech.
And let me tell you, folks, we have a worse economy now than we did back in 2008.
We're over $30 trillion in debt.
And you know what, folks?
If you have money locked in for retirement, your 401k, IRA, or savings account, it's not going to grow like you need it to grow with Biden at the helm.
It's not going to happen.
Folks, you need to contact GoldCo.
855-756-2296.
Folks, take that money.
Put it in a gold and silver.
Back in 08, the price of gold went up 1,300%.
The price of silver went up 2,400%.
People that invested in gold and silver, they were able to retire.
Those that didn't, some of them probably still may be working.
Folks, GoldCo has an A-plus rating for the Better Business Bureau, thousands of customer reviews, and they've helped place over $1 billion in precious metal.
Folks, go to the link in the description of this episode.
Get your free gold and silver retirement kit.
Take a look at it.
And folks, if you qualify, GoldCo will give you up to $10,000 in free silver.
So you can retire.
And folks, let me tell you, the guest I got on here today is a guest that I am so thankful that we have people like this in Washington, D.C. Folks, we have Matt Rosendale.
We have Paul Gozar.
We have Lauren Bober.
We have Matt Gates.
We have Andy Biggs.
We have Bob Goode.
We have Chip Roy.
Folks, those are the people in D.C. that are fighting for us.
And I'm going to add another name to that list.
And that name is Eli Crane.
Now folks, if you recall, like we went in heavy on this McCarthy speaker vote.
We went in real heavy.
And Eli Crane, a freshman congressman from Arizona.
Boy, he did not disappoint.
He stood tall on the votes against McCarthy for Speaker.
But Eli Crane, folks, this guy, former Navy SEAL, I believe it was SEAL Team 3, Five deployments, small business owner.
That is the type of representation that we need in D.C. Now, you've got to vet.
You've got to vet these guys, too, because there's a couple SEALs in D.C. that aren't like Eli Crane.
The SEALs that are in D.C. are there.
I'm going to use the word.
I'm going to say it.
They sold out to the establishment.
Even a couple freshman SEALs, they sold out to the establishment.
Eli Crane went in there.
Keep in mind, Eli's from Arizona.
And he has surrounded himself with the right people.
He has surrounded himself with the Paul Gozars, the Andy Biggs, the Lauren Boebert's, the Matt Gaetz, the Matt Rosendale's, the Bob Goods and the Chip Roy's.
He surrounded himself, and let me tell you, there's no doubt in my mind that Eli Crane took so much heat for standing with the Patriots during that Speaker vote.
Now, I was fortunate enough, Wendy Rogers, State Senator from Arizona, she put me in touch with Eli Crane, Congressman Crane, Navy SEAL, Eli Crane.
Boy, early summer, before his general.
So, you know, folks, I've been watching.
And if Wendy Rogers is going to put me in touch with somebody, folks, you know Wendy Rogers, the state senator from Arizona, election integrity, she just goes hard, has zero Fs to give.
When Wendy Rogers is going to send me a person's phone number and say, hey, this right here, this guy right here, keep an eye on him.
Wendy Rogers' word carries a great deal of weight with me.
And if Wendy Rogers was in for him, I was in for him.
And let me tell you, I'm so glad that we have folks like Eli Crean in D.C. And guys, Eli took a break from his schedule today to come on this program.
We're going to ask him a couple questions.
And I think it's going to be a great interview.
I really do.
So folks, without further ado, Congressman representing Arizona's 2nd District, Former Navy SEAL, former small business owner, and a man who has proven himself to have a backbone against the establishment, Eli Crane.
Folks, joining me right now is Congressman Eli Crane.
Congressman, thank you so much for joining us today.
Let me tell you, you are an exceptional story in D.C. I think the entire country really found out who you were and was cheering you on several weeks ago during the speaker vote.
I want to start with this.
What made you decide to get into politics?
Well, thanks for having me on, Teddy.
If I had to boil it down to one word, it would be concern.
I love this country, like many other folks, but I just believe that it's being destroyed from within.
For many reasons, and I wanted to be a part of trying to change the trajectory of it.
I joined the Navy the week after 9-11 because I felt like at that point that was the best way I could serve my country.
Now I feel like it's in culture and in politics.
And I felt like this was one place that God was calling me to come and serve.
And thankfully, my wife felt the same way.
And so, you know, here we are.
And Congressman, I'll tell you, I know that you take a lot of heat.
I know you get beat up a lot.
I actually jumped into the political arena several years ago.
And boy, let me tell you, they bear down on you.
But you're one of the guys that will just not let anybody break you.
Now, folks, for those that don't know, Congressman Crane was a Navy SEAL, served on SEAL Team 3.
Is that correct, SEAL Team 3, Congressman?
That's correct, Teddy.
And I'll tell you what, we...
Like, it is awesome to have guys like you in D.C. actually standing up and fighting for the American people.
And I gotta ask, like...
How come the rest of the country cannot have representatives like what come out of Arizona?
Paul Gozar is a friend of mine.
He's been on this show before.
We have Andy Biggs.
We have yourself.
You know, I was introduced to you via text months ago by State Senator Wendy Rogers out in Arizona.
Is Arizona its own ecosystem?
How do we spread that throughout the rest of the country to where you guys just aren't in Arizona?
That's a good question, Teddy.
I really don't get it myself.
I don't know if it's because it's the Wild West out there, but we do have some patriotic politicians and statesmen out there in Arizona.
I'm proud to be one of them.
You know, I'm honored to be able to come and serve with guys like Congressman Biggs and Gosar, who have been more than willing to mentor me and, you know, show me the ropes.
And I definitely have a lot to learn.
And I'll tell you this, if you look on this wall behind me here, That's that challenge coin right there from Paul Gozar.
We were together in New York City for the Young Republicans.
When I ran for office, he backed me.
He did videos for me.
And let me tell you, it's always the guys that take flack that are over target.
And I think a lot of you guys who stand up get unfairly targeted.
Now, during that speaker vote, It was you, Matt Gates, Bob Good, I met, I love Bob Good, Chip Roy, obviously Lauren Boebert, Andy Biggs, and yourself.
What were you feeling during those votes?
And why was it just the six that stood strong?
Because the reason I'm asking this, Congressman, is for those rules to be enacted.
I figured that that was a common sense thing.
Like, you should not have to hold out in order for those rules to be enacted.
So that was kind of my mindset.
What was your mindset going through that whole speaker vote?
Well, I think that was the mindset of the 20 and often generally the Freedom Caucus is that we wanted to see this body return to the members and not have all the authority isolated at the top within leadership.
And just to play devil's advocate and give you both sides, there are times where it's beneficial, but at the same time, when power and authority is isolated at the top, like it was under Nancy Pelosi, it makes it really hard for you to represent your district because you'll have bills that come out of committee that you didn't get to weigh in on, you didn't get to Add any amendments on or give any thought to.
And so I think that what we fought for is going to be really good for each individual member, their districts, and more importantly, the American people.
And we voted on a bill last week.
I think that there were 100 amendments opposed to it.
And I think some of it was the Democrats, but we still sped right through it.
And guys were coming up to us on the floor saying, you know, wow, I've never seen the house, you know, work like this, and I've been here for, you know, eight, ten years.
And so I think it was definitely worth the fight.
You know, I think that when we went into that fight, what I can tell you, Teddy, is it was a very prayerful group.
Mm-hmm.
We're definitely seeking God for guidance, wisdom, and direction.
And I think for the most part, it was a pretty humble group.
And we recognized that we needed to have some caution in it because we didn't want to make...
You know, see things to the Democrats or make, you know, have an outcome that was, you know, worse than where we were starting from.
And, you know, I think that there were members that...
You know, wanted just to see some structural changes to the house.
And you have to keep in mind when we went into this, Teddy, nobody wanted to run against Kevin McCarthy.
Nobody did.
Even the people that we were nominated didn't want the job.
You know, we were outnumbered from at the peak of our strength.
We were outnumbered 10 to 1.
So you start factoring some of those things in there, and then you start factoring the fact that we didn't have much air cover at all from conservative talking heads.
And even some of the biggest leaders in our party, it was a...
We definitely felt isolated and like we were on an island, but we did feel like we were on the right side of things.
I'm not upset with the 14 folks who made a deal because I know that the deal that was struck is going to be better for this body.
We kept being told by Republicans throughout that process, Teddy, that, oh, if you guys just hold out one more, we'll come over and join you.
We'll come join you.
And then they didn't.
So we weren't gaining any momentum.
And so I think that, you know, there were several folks that felt like it was time to, you know, kind of make a deal, get the best deal they could for their districts, best deal they could for this conference, and so we can move on.
And, you know, I'm just grateful that I was a part of it.
I'm grateful that I got to kind of jump into the deep end.
Because the longer you stay neutral in this, in my opinion, in this town, Up on Capitol Hill, the longer, the more time you have to get sucked into the establishment itself.
I'm kind of grateful.
I think people know where I stand now.
And I'm going to just try and do the best job I can for my voters and for this country.
So the one thing that was disappointing for a lot of folks, Congressman, was The people who jumped up and down and screamed at the top of their lungs that they are America first were not in this fight.
They were actually stumping for the other person.
And, you know, I'm not going to put you on the spot, but I think everybody knows exactly who we're talking about.
I've done episodes on this network before about that issue.
But now it appears that yourself, Matt Gaetz, Bob Good, Lauren Boebert, Andy Biggs, and honestly, the initial 20, you guys have grabbed that America First banner, and you're running with that right now.
How does that feel to be one of those folks holding that America First banner, sticking to your guns, standing strong, having integrity, showing character, because that's truly what it was, is that was true character,
And Congressman, I'm not going to lie to you, I saw a couple other new congressmen with tridents on their lapels, and they showed it on TV, like they were leaning into you to try to get you to switch and you held strong.
And Holding that banner, what does that feel like?
How does that feel for you right now?
You know, it feels good.
Anytime, you know, I mean, we've all been on both sides of this where you get into a tough situation and you fold or you cave or you go the wrong way.
You give in and you feel like you feel awful.
You feel like you let everybody down.
I know I've been there at times in my life.
And then for me, this was one of those times where I was able to stick to my guns and I went into this situation, being able to see it coming for a couple months off and just being prayerful about it and asking God to give me strength and courage throughout the process.
And this wouldn't be about ego or pride, but this would be about actually Doing what my title is, I'm a representative and my job is to represent the people back home, Teddy.
It's so sad that that's actually a story up here when you actually come up here and represent the people.
It's mind-boggling to me, but when you tell people back home, I'm going to fight for you, that doesn't mean I'm going to fight for you when I'm on the right popular side of things.
That means I'm going to fight for you, especially when we're in the minority.
It feels really good to have stood strong and Yes, you did.
Now, do you feel that most representatives in Congress are completely out of touch with their constituents?
Because I see that all the time, because during those weeks...
I was calling congressmen, I was texting congressmen, and they're texting me back, calling me that, saying, hey, Teddy, I can't stand up for this.
I can't stand for this vote because I'll lose a committee seat here, or I'll do this, or I'll do that.
And I'll tell them, listen, your constituents want you to stand up.
It's not about you.
It's about the people you represent.
Do you honestly feel that most are out of touch with their constituents?
No.
Well, I think that there's definitely an aspect to that, Teddy, but I also think that there is a different – there's definitely a strategy that a lot of people play when they get up here, and that strategy is I can't fix anything if I don't get deep enough into it.
I can't fix – I can't fix, you know, some of the economic issues if I don't get on appropriations or ways and means.
I can't fix the border if I don't get on homeland security.
And so I do see people that, you know, play that strategy.
The problem is, Teddy, is often, you know, it's like we get good at anything we practice.
And if you cave to leadership and you go along and do what you're told, To get that, you know, get that carrot or whatever you're chasing, you know, then they'll dangle another one in front of you and another one in front of you.
And before you know it, you've been up here two, four, six, eight, ten years, and you don't even recognize yourself in the mirror anymore.
And so that's something I try and be really, you know, conscious of and, you know, making sure that I'm always trying to check myself with some of the solid bellwethers.
And I do want to point out, we keep leaving out Matt Rosendale.
Yes, Matt Rosendale.
Yes, absolutely.
He was as solid as they came during that.
Every time, you know, as that pressure cooker was turning up, I'd look over and I'd see Matt have a big smile on his face and I'd be like, I'm glad that guy's on our side.
But yeah, I had a conversation with him in D.C. about two years ago and Adam Kinzinger was walking out of the Capitol Hill Club and I had to stop my conversation and I had a few words to say to Adam Kinzinger.
Yes, Matt Rosenthal is definitely one of the solid ones.
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah.
So, what committees are you on, and what can the American people look forward to with, you know, we're hearing about investigations into this, investigations into that.
So, if you could fill us in on that, Congressman.
Yeah, so I was pretty grateful, Teddy.
I actually got on Homeland Security.
Awesome.
Veterans Affairs and Small Business, which for my resume, it's right in line.
And so I'm really, I feel grateful and blessed to be getting those committees.
And we do have some, I think, some pretty phenomenal folks heading up some investigations right now.
You know, I talked to Jim Jordan a couple weeks ago and It was probably six or seven weeks ago now.
And I asked him, I said, Jim, do you feel like you have the resources you need to, you know, to make this investigation thorough and complete?
And he said, absolutely.
And so that, for me, you know...
Hearing that made me feel really good because I know that the American people are tired of watching two-tiered justice system.
They're tired of watching this town be completely corrupt backwards, the disconnect between what they want and what this town does.
And I'm really, like you, Teddy, I'm hoping that, you know, these investigations and the people behind them, you know, are strong, are intelligent, have wisdom and discernment so that they can help us turn this town and this country back in the right direction.
Congressman, and again, the small business.
You were actually on Shark Tank several years ago with your company Bottle Breacher.
Tell us about that because I find it incredible.
Yeah, it was a blessing, Teddy, getting out of the service, being able to start a small business with my wife where we were making our products in the USA and, you know, just having something we can sink our teeth into.
I don't think a lot of us veterans realize how hardwired we are for service.
And challenge as well.
And I think I see a lot of us veterans make the mistake of we get out of the military, we try and isolate ourselves, we try and go, you know, take a job where, you know, we're not traveling all the time, we're not away from our family.
You know, we just focus on providing for them.
And before you know it, there's a certain sense of loss that sets in because there's no mission, you know, in that new job other than providing for our family.
And I see a lot of veterans, you know, get stuck in that in that spot.
And I think that's for a lot of them, that's where they start running into trouble because they're no longer a part of a brotherhood or a team.
They have no mission outside of providing for their family.
And I think that's where a lot of problems set in.
And so for me, being able to start a small business where it was very challenging, and we were able to build a team, and we were able to build a culture, and we were able to insert mission into what we were doing in manufacturing our products in the USA, hiring veterans where we could.
Supporting our local community and definitely being challenged.
It was a blessing for us and for some of you guys that are watching or listening, we did get to go on Shark Tank in 2015.
Kind of like my first week in Congress, because of that show, it definitely jumped us into the entrepreneurial deep end.
You have to learn really quick when you jump into the deep end.
It's kind of been a part of the theme of my life, but I think that's one of the reasons that I'm up here now.
And I think you nailed it, too, with you used the word culture.
You know, I got out in 2014, and, you know, I tried to go work for somebody else.
That's not me.
Can't do it.
I don't fit into the civilian culture.
So I actually founded a company, took that company public, All veterans, and it was the whole culture aspect because these guys wanted to go to a place where they fit in, where they can contribute, to where their skills were recognized, and it was the culture.
So the website for Bottle Breacher is bottlebreacher.com.
Yeah.
In full disclosure, Teddy, we sold it last year.
Okay.
So I just want to make sure you knew that.
Right before me and Jen decided, we were actually asked to consider running for Congress.
Before that, we felt like God was calling us to get flexible, to sell our house, put our business on the market.
We did that.
And so I just want to be completely transparent.
So you were all in for this run.
Completely all in.
Yeah, and the thing is, too, Teddy, we were all in for getting flexible and being obedient to what we felt like God was calling us to do that before we even knew what the next step was.
And so, for all of you out there listening, I think that sometimes...
You know, God wants to test us.
He wants to see where our faith is.
Is our faith in our bank account or this job or this title that we had or this company that we own?
Or is it actually in Him?
And so this was one of those cool times where me and my wife, you know, took a leap of faith together and found out later what God had in store for us.
That's incredible.
That is absolutely incredible.
And Congressman, I personally want to thank you for standing strong.
For making that stand, for knowing that you are one of the ones that the American people can rely on, knowing that you're not going to cave and that you are going to constantly stand strong for what you do.
I know you're a busy guy, Congressman.
I can't thank you enough for coming on the program today.
And this is the first time you're going to be introduced to the Stu Peters Network audience.
And I'd love to have you back on again and again and again.
Thank you, Teddy.
I appreciate it, brother.
God bless you and have a great week, okay?
You do the same, sir.
Thank you.
Folks, let me tell you, like I said, the interview pretty much speaks for itself.
Eli is a man of the people.
He is in there for the right reasons.
You heard him say how swampy it is, how you can get sucked in.
To the way things work in D.C. And D.C. has to be one of, well, it's definitely the most politically corrupt city in the world.
So what do we do, folks?
What do we do to get more Eli Cranes in D.C.? How do we do that?
I asked him.
He's like, man, that's a good question.
You know?
Arizona's got all the good ones right now.
You know?
Paul Gozart.
Andy Biggs.
Eli Crane.
Like, what is it with Arizona that just makes it a hotbed for America First Patriots?
Folks, you got Bob Good represents a rural district down in Virginia.
Matt Gaetz.
Represents a very conservative district in Florida.
Lauren Boebert out in Colorado.
Let me tell you, she just squeaked by.
She's another one.
Zero F's to give.
She just squeaked by.
She don't need McCarthy's money to win.
She's got this.
Matt Rosendale in Montana.
Folks, these people, man, just...
Very impressive with the stand that they took.
And down the road here, we are going to try and get Bob Good on here as well.
Paul Gozar's already been on our program.
But, folks, here's the thing.
When you stand up and you do the right thing, it's not the narrative that mainstream media wants to push.
It's, you know, if you notice now, After Marjorie Trader Greed was backing McCarthy.
Boy, she's back on Fox News.
You guys remember when Sean Hannity...
You know what?
Let's run this clip.
Let's run Sean Hannity laying into Lauren Bovard.
Hi, time now tonight for the Hannity Hot Seat.
And tonight we're joined by a Republican who opposed Kevin McCarthy's bid for speaker on every single ballot.
That is Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert.
And she says negotiations with McCarthy have been ongoing since the summer, but that her demands are not being taken seriously.
Now, meanwhile, Kevin McCarthy's camp is now reportedly trying to determine...
Which of the 20 votes against him are because of a policy disagreement versus a personal vendetta?
Here now with reaction is Congresswoman Boebert.
Now, Congressman, let me...
Town Hall quoted you today saying the president, you said complimentary things about President Trump, needs to tell Kevin McCarthy that, sir, you do not have the votes.
It's time to withdraw.
Let me turn the tables, Congresswoman.
Kevin McCarthy has 202 votes.
Your side has 20.
So if I'm going to use your words and your methodology and your math, isn't it time for you to pack it in and your side to pack it in, considering he has over 200 and you have 20?
Sean, I understand the frustration, I promise you.
I'm not frustrated.
You didn't answer my question.
And we are hearing from many people who are still voting with Kevin McCarthy who are very supportive of what we're doing and they're cheering us on.
So there are more for us than are against us.
And they are waiting for Kevin to cave.
You know, the American people are certainly frustrated by it.
I'm frustrated by you not answering a direct question.
You said to President Trump, you said earlier today that President Trump needs to tell Kevin McCarthy, you don't have the votes.
We need to come up with a consensus candidate to elect a Speaker of the House.
You don't have the votes and it's time to withdraw.
He has 203.
Your side has 20.
Why is it time for him to withdraw and not you when he has so many more votes?
Well, Sean, he needs 218, and he does not have 218.
We've been trying to work this out in private, as you said, for months.
But Kevin McCarthy didn't even want to listen to us until his disappointing midterms.
We all want a unified party.
But this isn't chaos.
It's a functioning constitutional republic.
When everything is said and done, House Republicans...
Republicans will be stronger and better prepared to lead than we ever have before.
I believe that this is what our founding fathers intended.
And this is showing that our votes are working.
Our votes aren't just a cast to anoint a key.
Congresswoman, I'd ask you not to filibuster.
Yesterday you voted and Jim Jordan was your choice.
Today it was Byron Donalds who was your choice.
Tomorrow, I don't know who you're going to vote for.
But the bottom line is you still only have 20 votes.
Let me ask you this.
Kevin McCarthy...
We're proving that we're open to a menu of options.
You're proving that 20 people don't want Kevin McCarthy at this time.
But my question to you is this.
We are proving that there are many options.
My question to you is, did you support Kevin McCarthy's commitments to America, and do you not believe that he's going to follow through on his written promises?
His commitment to America is not as strong as I would like it to be.
And we have been working on the rules to change the structure of how Washington, D.C. is run and operated.
Sean, you know more than anybody how broken this town is.
This is something that we have an opportunity to rebuild, to restructure.
And it takes the right tools and the right leadership to do that.
Border security, energy independence, debt reduction, earmarks.
And when we asked him to put forward the Texas-built border plan, he refused.
And then, well, he's willing to bring back the exact plan that worked under Donald Trump.
And then he also has pledged investigations into the FBI and DOJ, the influence peddling of the Biden family, the origins of COVID and Anthony Fauci, the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
And we're going to get all of that with the right speaker.
It's not going to be Kevin McCarthy.
Do you support all of those agenda items he promised?
Of course I do, but I do not trust Kevin McCarthy at this point to deliver on those promises, especially when I go into good faith negotiations with him, and then he comes out and lies about what those conversations were, saying that members demanded a personal wish list.
Okay, that's your characterization.
He's not here to answer.
So let me ask you this.
He's already apologized to one member in private because he won't apologize to him in public for spreading lies about that meeting.
Here's my question.
So you and others fought hard for a motion to vacate with only five Republicans able to trigger that motion.
Kevin McCarthy didn't want to give it to you, but he did give it to you in the end.
To me, that's kind of an insurance policy.
Can I finish?
But he didn't all the way.
He did not.
Sure.
He gave you what you asked for, and one of the things that I've been asking people, I'm asking you tonight, who is your final choice for speaker, and if you can't get more than, let's say, 30 votes, will you follow your own advice that you are asking Donald Trump and withdraw?
There are certainly names that are being floated around, and hey, maybe I should nominate President Donald J. Trump tomorrow.
But, Sean, I did watch your show last night, and I want to set the record straight on this motion...
We're going to pick Jim Jordan one day, Donald the other day, Trump the next day?
I always have the motion straight on this motion to vacate because he did not give us this motion to vacate.
I'm showing there's a whole consensus of other candidates that could be nominated.
But I'm trying to understand how you're thinking here.
But this motion to vacate, Sean, you need to understand that Kevin McCarthy did not give us my hard red line.
He fought for it.
And this is a century-old, centuries?
No, he did not.
This is a centuries-old rule that was written by Thomas Jefferson and every speaker since 1837, with five members, Sean, with five members, not one member, to offer the motion to vacate.
So my question is this.
You haven't answered my question.
You cannot demand more responsibility.
Yesterday you supported Jordan.
Today you're supporting Donald.
That's not the way this works.
We need a check and a balance on the third in line to the presidency.
Let's have a final answer.
Who do you want to be Speaker of the House?
We need a conference to decide.
We need to come together and see who it is.
I'm asking who you want.
What does it look like, life after Kevin?
We need to find somebody who can actually unify the Republican Party.
I have offered plenty of things.
Let some other folks start offering other alternatives at this point.
There are 203 people and you have 20.
I respect the 20 of you.
I respect all of you.
But I'm asking you, based on your own words, who is your final...
Let's have a final answer.
Who do you want?
Who will you only support to be Speaker?
It's not that hard.
I'm willing to have conversations with the Republican conference to come up with a consensus candidate.
We are offering people right now, it doesn't have to be a member of the Freedom Caucus, it doesn't even have to be a solid conservative, but we have to have those tools in place.
More than half the Freedom Caucus supports McCarthy.
So you don't have, you don't even have a name, and we're now going into day three.
When you are threatened by committee chairmen to not be placed by steering members.
Let me ask a final question.
If your final members do not be placed on a committee, and then Kevin McCarthy affirms that, that's a scary place to be.
We are here to legislate.
We are here to get the country back on track.
I could tell.
And when you have people making threats like that, it's difficult to make that decision.
But we are going to get there.
I am fine doing this.
We're in day two.
It's okay.
The government isn't spending money sending it to Ukraine, so the American taxpayers are certainly winning.
Okay.
Politically, Congresswoman, you and I agree on most things.
We don't disagree on many things.
Yes, we do, Sean.
Correct.
And I do have respect for you.
And I believe that history will show that I'm on the right side of this, Sean.
Well, you can believe in your position, but I'm using your words.
You said to President Trump, We're very clear.
He doesn't have 218, so you need to ask him to withdraw.
If by Friday, you and your group of 20 don't have a name with 30 votes, is it time for you to withdraw?
And if not, why do you support a double standard?
Last question.
Kevin McCarthy does not have 218 votes.
Kevin McCarthy will not be speaker.
And you have 20.
I asked you a very specific question.
If by Friday you don't have 30...
Listen, when we get this right, I will not, Sean.
I will not withdraw.
Our asks were not petty of Kevin McCarthy.
They were not self-serving.
We simply were asking for commitments on what the American people want to see.
They want to see a vote on term limits, a vote on the Texas border plan to secure the southern border.
Congresswoman, with all due respect...
We ask for a vote on a budget that actually balances.
With all due respect.
Imagine a Congress that stops spending money that we don't have.
So you only have 30 people supporting you.
We are going to get this right, and we are going to get the right speaker, Sean.
If you only have 30, to be clear, you will not withdraw.
30 is going to be a beautiful number to reach.
But you're telling Kevin McCarthy and the 203 people that support him to withdraw because they don't have 218.
That's what you're saying.
Look, it's obvious by tonight's motion to adjourn that Kevin McCarthy and his supporters are already getting voter fatigue, and I'm here for it.
I asked you a simple question, Congresswoman.
I feel like I'm getting an answer from a liberal.
I'm not going to support Kevin McCarthy, Sean.
Okay, so even if you only have 30 votes, you will not abide by what you told President Trump to abide by.
I feel like we've made progress.
Look, I love President Trump.
You're not going to turn me on him.
You're not going to pit him against me.
Not trying to pit him against you.
That's what you said to him.
And I am standing...
You're the one that said it to him.
I have seen the lack of accountability.
Well, we are getting phone calls saying that we need to stop this.
Kevin does not have the votes for speaker.
I got it.
Period.
Thank you.
We need to find a consensus candidate, get this right, and get our country back on track.
Thanks so much, Sean.
So, folks, do the pieces of the puzzle fit together now?
Do you see that the folks at Fox and a lot of the other big networks, you know, we went hard last week about Daily Wire, Shapiro, those folks, they are literally RNC mouthpieces.
And you have to sell out to the establishment and to the system to be an RNC mouthpiece.
Stu Peters doesn't do that, and I don't do that.
We don't sell out to be a mouthpiece.
Now, what we're going to do is we're going to give the Eli Cranes a voice.
We're going to give the Paul Gozars a voice.
We're going to give the Andy Biggs, the Matt Rosendales, the Bob Goods.
We're going to give them a voice.
What Hannity did to Lauren Boebert a couple weeks back, unacceptable, uncalled for.
Boy, he was pissed.
That Lauren Boebert was actually standing up against the establishment swamp.
Like I said, folks, it's a puzzle.
And you just got to put the pieces in.
And it's funny when they match up and they slide right in there, isn't it?
Excuse me, guys.
I get fired up, man, because this is our country.
I've got kids.
A lot of you have kids, grandkids.
You know, Thomas Paine, one of our founding fathers, said, If trouble must come, let it come in my time.
So my children may live in peace.
Folks, I'm retired.
I'd rather be out hunting and shooting and killing stuff all day.
But I'll be honest with you, this is my fight.
It's not for me.
It's for my kids.
It's for your kids.
It's for your grandkids.
And that's why Eli Crane's in this fight.
That's why there's good people in this fight.
So we need to do everything that we can to back and support people like Eli Crane.
So, folks, before I wrap this up, you know, and it's kind of funny, Eli Crane's a patriot, I'm a patriot, you folks are patriots.
Everybody out there needs to go to 4patriots.com.
Folks, they have the best in survival food.
And survival gear and survival accessories.
Go to 4patriots.com.
Put in promo code TEDDY. Folks, I just got a couple of their items on my desk, which I love.
I ordered a couple more from my go bags.
This is the water filtration tube, okay?
So instead of carrying around 10 cases of freaking water that'll take you a half hour to load the back of your truck, Guys, water source anywhere.
Water filtration tube.
All right?
Instead of carrying around boxes of batteries and, you know, worrying, man, I'm out there.
Is my phone going to die?
Whatever.
Okay?
This is the solar-powered phone charger.
Look at this.
Okay?
And this is how it comes.
Look at...
It's got the thick nylon.
Folds right up.
Look at this, folks.
Okay?
I actually went on...
I ordered more.
Everybody needs to have one of these in a go bag, in your hunting pack, in your car, in your trunk, in your truck, in the glove box, in the junk drawer, in the kitchen.
Everybody needs one of this stuff.
So folks, it's not just a survival food that 4patriots.com has.
And the reason I love this company is they donated a portion of their proceeds.
To veterans, organizations, and their families.
I told you, I had firewood delivered last week.
And one of the guys was like, hey, I saw your four Patriots ad.
He goes, I'm on there all the time.
So I said, brother, next time you go and order something, put in promo code TEDDY, save 10%.
And guys, the shipping is quick.
Like, I was surprised how fast the shipping was.
Folks, I will not stump for a product here if I don't believe in it.
That's just how it is.
So, if I believe in you, if you can convince me that your product is what it is, then you know what?
You got me.
I'll stump for your product.
But folks, I've been around Four Patriots for a while.
They're survival food.
I actually take bits and portions and I put it in my hunting pack.
Folks, I hunt all over the country.
Don't know how long you're going to be out in the woods.
Don't know if something's going to happen to you.
Guys, I can't hunt with somebody.
I just can't do it.
I hunt by myself.
God forbid if I ever broke my leg or something like that.
Hey, you know what?
I got enough there to survive.
I can get somewhere to where I have cell service.
If my phone is dead, I can charge it with this.
If I get thirsty, boom.
Hold on now.
Whew!
Excuse me.
Folks, I got the wood stove going today.
She was a little smoky starting up.
So, apologize for that sneeze.
So, guys, let me tell you.
