Um, because I was recording in like the loudest room in the house.
It has no soundproofing, and you know, every possible noise would make it into that room.
So, I had to get something better set up.
So, here I am.
And I want to come at you with this story from Am I the Asshole.
Am I the asshole for being offended with the way my friend talks about white people?
16 male am white, and my best friend, 15 male, is black.
Being teenagers, we obviously have some crass senses of humor, but we never outwardly try to hurt one another by saying anything offensive.
Despite this, he says things about me like I'm white as paper and similar comments.
At first, I didn't mind and actually found it funny, but it started to actually hurt me a bit.
He goes out of his way to make any comment about his race, no matter what the subject.
I'll hit him on the arm playfully, and he'll say, Whoa, you can't do that.
I'm black, or we're done with that era.
Like, I get he's trying to be funny, but it genuinely makes me feel bad and uncomfortable.
He's not trying to be funny, he's trying to be a dick to you.
You know, he feels like he can't.
He feels like, oh, you're a little white kid, you're a little pushover.
I can just do whatever.
It's just bullshit.
It's bully behavior.
He's just using this social doctrine about racism to excuse himself for being a complete dick to you.
That's why.
He goes on, I never say anything about him being black and never say anything racist towards him.
I've been pretty forgiving with his comments, but this most recent one kind of threw me off.
You shouldn't be so forgiving, you know?
It's a double standard.
It's an extreme double standard, and nobody should be putting up with it.
For context, we're both into writing and have characters we talk to each other about.
With my story, I'm currently writing.
I try my hardest to be diverse with the characters races.
Yeah, you got to make sure that you have an extremely diverse and inclusive imagination, too, don't you?
You got to be diverse in your brain.
He says, My main character is Hispanic, his best friend is black, and there's three more characters, two of which are white.
The third character was written by my younger sister, so she created her design.
At first, I thought this character should be black, so I told my friend she was.
But today, my sister finally created her design, and the character was portrayed as white.
So, I told my friend, uh-oh, you better not do that.
He was incredibly pissed off about this.
I bet he was.
I bet he was.
You know, they're not so much easily offended as they are eagerly offended.
Like, they love it.
They love to find reasons to be offended, and then they really just love to lean into it and be as dramatic as possible about it.
He goes on, like spamming me about it.
I told him that it was my sister's choice, and it doesn't matter because it didn't change anything in the story.
And there are multiple other black characters.
Not good enough.
Peak diversity is when it's like 100% black people and nobody else.
Okay, that's that's how it really works.
And I think that if you had done that and just given him all black characters, he would have been very happy with it.
I'm positive.
He continues.
He calmed down and said he still liked our character, but then went on to send this text verbatim.
Jess is still my favorite, even though she's a cracker.
That was a comment that kind of threw me off a lot.
I understand cracker is nowhere near as bad as other words, but it just weirded me out.
Hold on, real quick.
I mean, I think historically people would have said that it's not any worse, but here's what's making it just as bad, in my opinion.
It's the double standard.
Yeah, I never liked the word cracker just on the basis that, you know, I used to just be so against racial epithets.
I thought they were so bad, and now I use them.
And I accept the fact they're used on me, but the outrageous thing is never to be called cracker.
That's never so outrageous for me.
It's the double standard.
It's that you'll feel perfectly entitled in calling me that.
But then, if I even do so much as repeat your words that you wrote in a song, then you know, it's game over and you feel like you get to be violent and destroy lives.
Nowadays, for me, when you say the word cracker, it's not even about the word anymore.
It's about the reminder of just how extreme the double standard is, how much you've given yourself an excuse to be violent and be an absolute dick over it while feeling like you get to say whatever you want at the same time.
You know, that's that's what pisses me off.
I'd be content to go back to not caring what words people used or what names they called me if there wasn't such an extreme double standard around it.
But there is, and so because of that double standard, I've really come to relish in saying, you know, can't do it here.
Though, curiously, you'll have noticed that I've been able to say cracker many times.
I've said it in other videos too.
No problem.
You know, it's no problem then.
I have to censor out anywhere it may show up.
But cracker, totally fine.
And that just demonstrates the point that I'm making here.
I mean, it's down into the way things are coded, as you all well know.
Go look up some Google searches and type in happy white woman.
Or you can go talk into AI chatbots and you can kind of get it to reveal its hand.
There's all these rules, there's all these double standards.
We all know they're there.
And, you know, this is that double standard in action.
So you're right to be offended.
It's bullshit and it's an outrageous double standard.
And you know it.
I can tell you know it.
We all know it and he knows it and he loves it.
They fucking love this shit.
They love the power game.
They love the power this word gives them and they love the power that like the equity doctrine is giving them.
So where they can be extremely outraged by something, but then turn around and do it to you and they can come up with some bullshit, you know, historical excuse.
Yeah, well like, yeah, because my grandma, well, bitch, I'm here now.
Okay, I'm here now.
And you're excusing treating me like shit over something that you also weren't around for.
Yeah, but my legacy, bitch, I'm here now.
I have my own life to live.
I don't have to live it in pursuit of your causes.
I don't have to live it in pursuit of your gripes.
I don't have to live it trying to reform the world into an image that's more suitable for you.
That's not my fucking problem.
And the fact that I don't want to commit my time and my life and my energy and my resources to remaking the world in your favor doesn't mean that you get to be a complete dick to me.
It doesn't give you the right to have all these double standards.
To have carte blanche to do whatever if somebody offends you.
If we say that one word, you literally think that you have the legal right to murder us for it.
I've seen it time and time again.
You know, some attack on.
Yeah, but he called me the it work.
Okay.
It's free speech.
Yeah, but he called so it's free speech.
But you guys have the mentality that it's not free speech.
There's this rule where it's not, it's not an official law on the books, but it's definitely a law.
And the punishment is that you get to kill somebody over it.
Why are we, I mean, this is not an acceptable arrangement.
Okay.
Why should I accept this at all?
And meanwhile, you know, this dude wants to cry at his friend because he bumped him in the arm playfully.
Whoa, whoa, you can't do that.
I'm black.
I'm black.
You can't do that.
We're done with that era.
Yeah.
Well, you're going to love the era that comes at the end of all this.
It's going to be a very different era.
It's going to be an era where we all learned our lesson that there's no such thing as coexisting peacefully with you.
There's no such thing as integration.
Even segregation wasn't enough because then we have to share the same territory.
Then we have to actually have water fountains that are side by side.
Fuck how small and shitty yours is.
They have to be side by side.
We have to occupy the same space.
Clearly, that did not work out for us.
And so in the future, we're going to have to live very, very far apart because this shit is unacceptable.
I'm not putting up with it.
This kid shouldn't put up with it.
It's not a question.
Any sane and self-respecting person would see this double standard and be like, fuck you for that.
Fuck you.
But no, we're all conditioned to sit here and walk on eggshells.
Like, am I the asshole?
Because I had a feeling about the way I was being treated.
You don't have to gaslight yourself and definitely don't go on Reddit, you know, Gaslight Central to have all them help you gaslight yourself over it too.
You know, they're going to tell you that you're the asshole.
You're not allowed to have feelings about this kind of shit.
It's just incredible to me.
I see this kind of stuff all the time.
If you have a friend and he jokes around with you, plays around with you playfully and you say some shit like, Whoa, you can't do that.
I'm black.
You're a coward and a pathetic person and just pitiful and whiny.
Just whiny.
And you should be ashamed and you should be embarrassed.
Like it's actually laughable that you would be such a fucking crybaby and that you would sit here, you can't do that.
I'm black.
Fuck you, dude.
Fuck you, Tyrone.
Nobody gives a shit.
You're black.
That doesn't mean that you get to do whatever you want and that you get a pitch a fit anytime somebody slightly crosses you.
Oh, you can't do that.
I'm black.
Okay, your being black doesn't give you special rights and it doesn't take rights away from me.
I know that we're pretending that it does that.
Like it's like the common social doctrine now.
Pretend you don't have free speech.
Pretend that there's these special rules around who can say what.
Pretend, pretend, but I'm not going to fucking pretend.
There aren't special rules.
You don't get to say extra stuff that I don't get to say.
You don't get to dole out justice as you see fit, vigilante justice over me hurting your feelings or saying a word you don't like.
You don't get to do any of that shit.
And I know that you've been getting away with it because nobody's really doing anything and the surrounding culture has largely been encouraging you to behave this way, but that's not going to fucking last forever.
But I know that you guys have high time preference and you wouldn't be able to think ahead like that.
We're the planners.
We're the ones that had to think ahead.
We're from the far north when everything was cold and harsh.
And for thousands and thousands of years, we had to plan ahead to make sure that we would survive the deep, deep winter.
But you guys sat around in hot environments just picking fruits and nuts.
You didn't have to struggle.
You didn't have to plan.
That's not in your evolutionary past.
And so for that reason, it's not in your nature today to think ahead.
It's in my nature to think ahead though.
And so, you know, you can enjoy your little time in the sun.
You can enjoy the little artificial social capital that you've been given.
You can enjoy this little petty power that you've been given to be able to say a word that we can't say and to be able to kill us if we do say it.
And to then also be allowed to turn around and call us offensive things.
You get to have all these things.
And I think that you think it's just going to end here.
Well, history stopped.
We've just come to a standstill.
No more.
We have arrived.
And these are the rules now.
No, it's not going to fucking work that way, Tyrone.
And in the future, nobody's going to hear that shit.
The things that they're going to do and not do because you're black, it's going to be really different than what it is now.
See, right now, because you're black, people avoid saying certain things, they avoid doing certain things.
Okay.
But in the future, because you're black, they're going to do things.
You see how that works?
They're going to end up proactively doing things because you're black and you're not going to like those things.
And then if you cry about it then and say, but you can't do that.
I'm black.
Nobody's going to listen to you because nobody's going to care because nobody should care.
No one.
And so that's the future that's in store for you, if not you personally, your descendants.
This shit is not going to go on forever.
We're done with that era.
Well, we finna be done with this era too.
We're not going to put up with this shit forever.
I'm not going to put up with this shit forever.
I'm just waiting on a bunch of other people to catch up.
I can't tell you where my mind is really at on all this stuff because I can't say it on YouTube.
But you follow, I'm ready.
I'm tired.
I'm tired.
We can't live like this.
And we can't have little white kids walking around on eggshells, being afraid that they had an emotional response to something that was unfair because this is obvious.
The fact he even had to ask, you know, it's not right.
It's not fair.
The arrangement's not fair.
Again, I don't care so much about hurdy words.
Ever since I was a kid, it was always, you know, sticks and stones may break my bones and so on.
Look, I don't minimize the impact that words can have on people, but words are words and we should be allowed to say them.
And what I find more hurtful is when people try to monitor my speech.
There is nothing so offensive in this world as people monitoring my speech.
But what makes it all the worse is if they're monitoring my speech, but they're also using similar speech, just in the reverse, and they feel okay with it.
But you know, folks, that's the doctrine of equity.
That's what you get.
This is the kind of thing that you can expect when the doctrine of equity has really taken hold of a society.
Because in order to achieve equitable outcomes, it requires outrageous double standards.
You must actively disadvantage the better performing group and you must actively advantage the lesser performing group using legal artificial means to prop them up because they lack the natural capacity to do these things for themselves.
So it's incredible to me that your black friend here would get so pissed off about like the imaginations of your mind.
You know, your storytelling.
I mean, shouldn't that just be a pure product of expression from your mind?
So he's upset about the demographic composition of your internal little universe of your world, but meanwhile, he'll call you a cracker.
Don't have friends like this.
In fact, just stay away from them.
Just stay away from them.
I'm telling you, I used to have a lot of black friends.
We got along.
It was a long time ago.
I don't have black friends anymore and I'm not going to have them.
And there's a reason for them.
I'm not going to put up with this kind of shit.
I'm not fucking walking on eggshells for you people.
Are you fucking kidding me?
I would never walk on eggshells for you.
I don't give a fuck about your feelings.
I don't care.
There was a time in my life, maybe I would have cared, but that's long gone.
I've been listening to you guys bitch and piss and moan and whine and excuse yourself.
It's fucking pitiful.
And I don't respect that.
I don't tolerate that.
And I'm not going to waste my time being around losers like that who just sit there and whine.
Just fuck you.
Just sit there and whine and piss and moan about the slightest perceived infraction, real or imagined, but you can turn around and be abjectly An asshole to people over their race.
And we're just not going to put up with these double standards forever.
You know, you think you've seen racism?
You haven't seen it.
You haven't seen it.
You're starting to see it with people like me, but you haven't really seen it.
Nobody alive today just about has really seen it.
But we're going to see it again.
And you're going to learn the difference between the people in this era that you've been tarring and feathering as racist and who real racists actually are, how they actually behave, and the kinds of things that actually occur in society.
You know, under a truly racist order, none of you would have jobs.
None of you would have places in media, academia.
You'd be shut out and you damn sure wouldn't be able to run around talking all this shit all the time.
Absolutely fucking not.
But you live in such staggering cognitive dissonance that you think you're oppressed while you've been given the freedom to do all these things.
In fact, you think you're oppressed, but you somehow have a more comprehensive form of free speech than I do.
That's not oppression.
You're just stupid.
And so, yeah, he finishes here.
I'd just like to know if I'm overreacting about all this.
Any help would be appreciated.
You're not overreacting.
You're kind of underreacting.
And it's fair for you to feel this way.
How could you not?
It's unreasonable to expect anybody to put up with these kinds of double standards.
That sort of hypocrisy and gaslighting.
And you know, they always like to revert back to like socio-political issues and history and all this shit, like to try to justify their behavior, but you know it's bullshit.
And somewhere deep down in the inside themselves, they know it's bullshit too.
And just think about it.
You know that if the rules were reversed, they wouldn't be walking on eggshells for you.
You've been around them.
You know how they are.
They're not that kind of people.
They don't walk on eggshells.
They don't say sorry for things.
No.
They don't say sorry for things.
They're pretty slow to forgive if they ever forgive you at all.
They tend to boast about things that they condemn us for.
So you have to know that if the shoe were on the other foot, he'd be laughing in your face and he'd be like, fuck you finna do about it, Timmy.
Because that's how they are.
And I just suggest that you stay the hell away from them.
There's nothing worth being their friend anymore.
If ever there was, it's not worth it anymore.
I won't have you anywhere fucking near me.
I can't be real with you.
You know, I can be real with you here and I will be fucking real with you here.
Yeah, I'm racist.
It's just frustrating.
I get tired of seeing stuff like this.
I know what the kid means, but it shouldn't be this way.
We shouldn't have to live this way.
And honestly, we don't have to live this way.
But we're going to get as much of this as we put up with.
You can be sure of that.
Anyway, folks, I do have a video I'm working on that's going to take me a little while.
It's a bit of a why I don't like Jews part two.
I see you guys liked the first one a lot.
It just takes a little extra work.
Got to pull some clips together.
I want to get into some of the religious angle.
Like I've got a lot of rabbi clips, for example, that will really demonstrate my point.
And the main thrust of the video is going to be what ultimately turned me anti-Semitic.
You know, that first video was why I don't like them, like a few reasons I don't like them.
Those are my ongoing reasons for why I don't like them.
This video, I want to touch upon the very flashpoint, what caused me to turn against them to begin with.
But to do that, it's going to require several clips and I'm going to have to comment upon those clips.
So it may take me a couple or few days.
It's been really busy at the house.
For one thing, getting this whole area set up.
For another thing, you know, my kiddos were sick and then their illnesses spread to my wife and then a little bit to me even.
So it's been hard for me to keep up with things the way I like to.
But I am working on that.
And it's going to be a good video.
I think you guys will enjoy it.
That all being said, I appreciate you guys for tuning in.
I appreciate your support.
If you haven't, subscribe to my ex at Shameless Burg to help this channel survive if it gets gassed by YouTube.
