Special Reports & Tweets - Exclusive! Alex Jones Responds To The Death Of Legendary Actor and American Conservative, Robert Duvall https://t.co/8kZwRUrLE6 Aired: 2026-02-17 Duration: 09:02 === Robert Duvall's Legacy (05:49) === [00:01:02] that smell that napalm smell smells like like victory well last year gene hackman died one of my favorite actors And then I learned today that yesterday at 95, Robert Duvall died. [00:01:30] And I don't have some big obsession with Hollywood. [00:01:32] I'm not a huge movie guy, but I got to tell you, growing up, man, those guys were like John Wayne to me. [00:01:38] Nothing against John Wayne like John Wayne movies. [00:01:40] Okay, like John Wayne, but I never really thought of him as like the greatest actor or the most Americana type guy. [00:01:47] But Gene Hackman and Robert Duvall, I mean, if I had to say who my favorite actor was, it'd be Robert Duvall. [00:01:54] I've said that before. [00:01:55] And I was just thinking about Robert Duvall like a week ago, man. [00:01:57] I can't think, God, that guy's lived forever. [00:01:59] He's so cool. [00:02:00] I wish I could meet him. [00:02:01] You know, I got to know a little bit of Charlton Hess, who I really liked. [00:02:05] He was involved with the NRA. [00:02:06] Interviewed him a few times. [00:02:08] And he was so nice. [00:02:09] He says, if you ever need any mentorship or talk about America, give me a call. [00:02:14] Had his number for like months and months. [00:02:15] Never called it. [00:02:16] Called it, called it, and answered, called it another time. [00:02:18] He answered like a 30-minute conversation. [00:02:21] Like trying to, like I said, mentor me about fighting for America and freedom and how important young people were. [00:02:26] I was like 30 then. [00:02:29] And then I tried a few more times. [00:02:32] Never got to talk to him. [00:02:33] He was on the show a few times, but still, on the scale of one to 10, you know, Gene Hackman and Charlton Hester a nine, but Robert Duvall's a 10. [00:02:46] THX1138, Blowsome Dove, Free Range, The Godfather, Apocalypse Now. [00:02:57] I mean, he was just so human. [00:02:59] He just telegraphed through so powerfully. [00:03:02] It's really a celebration of humanity that death's a great equalizer. [00:03:08] And there's been so many amazing souls before us and so many now. [00:03:11] And it's really the future. [00:03:12] It's all part of the human experience. [00:03:13] So that's why we've got to be pro-humanity. [00:03:16] We got to celebrate humanity. [00:03:18] And, you know, appreciate humanity. [00:03:20] One of my other favorite actors is Denzel Washington. [00:03:23] And, you know, just the great things he does on screen, but also the things he says in person. [00:03:27] You know, as himself, the interview is just amazing. [00:03:29] You know, one day he'll make a jump in diverspace. [00:03:32] I will too. [00:03:33] Death is the great equalizer. [00:03:36] So I just want to say to Robert Duvall from To Kill a Mockingbird to Slingblade. [00:03:44] Amazing job. [00:03:45] Your humanity cut right through the screen like a laser beam. [00:03:49] And you're not gone. [00:03:51] You're not forgotten. [00:03:52] You're here with us forever. [00:03:53] And we know your energy transcends the next level. [00:03:56] So God bless you and God bless your family. [00:03:59] Robert Duvall, what an amazing patriot. [00:04:02] He was a conservative, by the way. [00:04:04] And what an amazing American. [00:04:06] What a grazing. [00:04:07] What an amazing man. [00:04:08] God bless you, Robert Duvall. [00:04:10] We're all really proud to share the same planet with you. [00:04:14] It's amazing. [00:04:15] Again, we salute you. [00:04:17] Robert Duvall. [00:04:21] I love the smell of napalm in the morning. [00:04:24] Smells like, like victory. [00:04:29] I would tell you don't eat the fishes. [00:04:31] It's poisonous. [00:04:33] You can't even swim in the water. [00:04:36] It'll give you some kind of bacterial infection. [00:04:39] So how's that for sick? [00:04:42] I'm having a private moment with my family. [00:04:44] We'd like to be left alone. [00:04:46] I'm leaving soon. [00:04:49] I'm retiring to Arizona, Lake Habasoo City. [00:04:52] Ever been there? [00:04:54] That's not what I mean. [00:04:56] They call it a lake, but it's really just a big bowl of muddy water. [00:04:59] But the wife, the wife, thinks it's paradise. [00:05:03] Everybody has their own idea of what they think paradise is. [00:05:08] Take me, for instance. [00:05:12] You know what I thought paradise was? [00:05:14] What? [00:05:15] If you'll excuse me? [00:05:18] Making babies? [00:05:20] Ain't that a kick? [00:05:22] Making babies. [00:05:25] That's your little girl. [00:05:27] Beautiful. [00:05:28] Beautiful. [00:05:29] Lovely. [00:05:31] She's special. [00:05:33] Yeah. [00:05:34] Nice. [00:05:37] You know, my wife never was cut out for motherhood. [00:05:41] She did it all for me. [00:05:42] See, went through all that pain, lost a figure all for me. [00:05:46] Then the kid went to sleep one night, never woke up. [00:05:50] They called it infant death. [00:05:54] Syndrome. [00:05:56] But she wasn't an infant. [00:05:57] It was very strange because she was two years old. [00:05:59] She was a big girl. [00:06:03] She was our baby. [00:06:07] Here, darling, this is for you. [00:06:09] You go. [00:06:10] There you go. [00:06:11] Thank you. [00:06:13] What can you do? [00:06:16] If she'd been hit by a drunk driver, but, you know, who do you blame when they just don't wake up? [00:06:22] Who? [00:06:42] Elizabeth, get out of here, go on! [00:06:43] Elizabeth! [00:06:44] Freeze! [00:06:45] Elizabeth! [00:06:49] What were you gonna do? [00:06:50] I don't know. [00:06:50] I don't know what I'm gonna do. === Elizabeth's Frozen Moment (02:10) === [00:06:52] Oh, guys like you always say you don't know what you're gonna do until you do it. [00:06:54] I think you know exactly what you were gonna do. [00:06:56] You were to kill your wife and child. [00:06:58] Yeah. [00:07:00] And then you know it'd be too late to turn back. [00:07:02] It would be real easy to turn the gun around on yourself. [00:07:05] Now let's go meet some nice policemen. [00:07:07] They're good guys. [00:07:07] Come on, let's go. [00:07:08] I see through a rose-colored darkly. [00:07:23] That means I'm trying to tell you the truth, but I'm not always right just about 98% of the time. [00:07:28] And bad guys of every stripe don't want this show in the air. [00:07:32] But you're the good guys. [00:07:33] You have to decide: hey, this guy's a fighter.
