He, just like every other police officer out there, at heart is a good person.
He didn't take action in this event and I can't explain why, or I just can't explain, there are no words to explain why he wouldn't take action to take out this individual.
But I think it's a good example of how if he didn't take action and supposedly four others didn't, I mean, who does?
Who wants to go down the barrel of an AR-15 even with a Glock?
And I know that's what these police officers are supposed to do.
But they're people too.
They need to worry about themselves as well as all the other students.
And I don't think teachers need to have that responsibility either.
Let's take a minute.
Well, let's take another minute to talk about David Hogg.
David Hogg's been covered a lot.
We've talked about him.
He was clearly getting his lines coached to him from off camera with CNN. It's not a conspiracy theory.
We're not saying, oh, he's a crisis actor.
This didn't happen.
It happened.
But, he's just being pushed, just like him and Emma Gonzalez, CNN and MSNBC are taking advantage of these kids and they're saying, look, don't you care?
Don't you want to change the world?
Don't you want to make a difference?
Just come on our shows and just talk about how horrific it was and how much we need gun control.
So these kids are being used by MSNBC and CNN to push an agenda.
Now, it's screwed up that CNN and MSNBC are doing this, but just because these are kids doesn't mean that we can't criticize what they say as being stupid.
These kids are saying some really, really stupid stuff because they're kids and they have no idea what the real world is like.
They don't know what the government's like.
They don't know how to run a government.
We shouldn't be listening to 14 and 17 year olds on how to run a country.
So David Hogg, constantly anti-gun on TV and stuff.
He pays a lot of lip service to it.
Oh, I love the Second Amendment.
I just think that nobody should ever be able to have guns.
Yeah, okay, cool.
Well, he goes on MSNBC. He's talking with Crazy Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, and he says Governor Rick Scott should be held accountable for his deputies not going into the school.
He says, yeah, I don't know what their deal is.
I don't know why they didn't come in and help us, but I think Rick Scott should be held accountable for it rather than trying to blame it on bureaucracy and get re-elected that way.
It's like, do you really think that the governor of Florida got a call or that he's listening to a police scanner hearing this going down and decided, no, tell the deputies to stay outside.
No, stop being an idiot.
Don't buy into this Idiocy from these kids just because they're kids.
You can criticize them, I promise you.
It'll be fine.
He's 17 years old.
He wants to talk like a man.
He wants to act like a man.
We can talk about him like he's a man.
So he says that Governor Scott should be held accountable.
Why?
Probably because Governor Scott is pro-gun.
I don't know.
I haven't looked at his position on that.
That's probably why.
He probably wants to get Scott out of office.
But anyway, so that was one MSNBC interview saying people should be held accountable for deputies not going in.
Well, he did another MSNBC interview on a different show where he said that, I don't blame the deputies for not coming in.
Who would want to go down the barrel of an AR-15?
I sure wouldn't, even if I had a Glock.
So he goes, I sure wish they would have done something, but I don't blame them.
And he's using this as another push.
They're trying to twist the narrative because the idea before was citizens don't need guns because we have the government, we have police officers, etc., to protect us.
We have people with guns, certified, you know, police officers that can protect us whenever there's a crazy person.
Okay, so we don't need guns.
Well, now we learned that there were, what?
For at least one deputy there who had a gun.
And he did nothing.
He did nothing.
So what I hear when David Hogg says that, because what he says is if we can't rely on deputies whose job it is to protect people, how do we expect to rely on teachers if we arm teachers, responsible ones?
How can we rely on them?
It's not even their job and deputies can't even do it.
Why would we expect teachers to?
But what I hear is that police officers cannot be reasonably expected to protect you in the event of a mass shooting.
What I hear is that police and law enforcement cannot be relied upon to save your life.
So what does that mean?
That sounds like a call against gun control to me.
That sounds like we need citizens to be armed so that they can protect themselves because law enforcement is too incompetent.
The government is too incompetent to protect people.
And what the liberals want to do is they want to say, oh, you don't support a gun ban.
You don't care about children.
Well, liberals don't support arming teachers.
Well, I care about children.
I also care about guns.
I think we need guns.
I think we need children to be safe.
And the liberals don't want to arm teachers.
Should we say that the liberals don't care about children?
I don't know.
I'm not going to say that.
I just think that maybe you should think about it, conservatives.
Maybe wake up, get smart.
Maybe think of what a liberal would do in your position.
I don't know.
I'll let you think about that.
But David Hogg on MSNBC made a perfect argument against gun control for the arming of the citizenry.
Law enforcement cannot be relied upon To defend the lives of American citizens.
Therefore, we have to have a means by which we can take it into our own hands.
