| Yes, these are the very people accusing the president of insanity because he refuses to abide by their book of craziness. | |
| So now people are obsessed with the 25th Amendment. | |
| Oh, this is the way we're going to finally be rid of Trump. | |
| It's going to be thanks to this new book, Fire and Fury, which is total fiction. | |
| It says so right at the beginning of the book. | |
| It's right here in the prologue. | |
| The author admits that he's into allowing the reader to judge whether or not his sources claim... | |
| And in other parts, he uses his judgment and research to arrive at what he describes as a version of events I believe to be true. | |
| And Michael Wolff admitted Monday that he never actually interviewed the vice president or any cabinet members, even though some of the book's most incendiary claims are attributed to cabinet members. | |
| Did you speak with any members of the president's cabinet for this book? | |
| I did not. | |

| And did you speak with the vice president? | |
| I did not. | |
| But this doesn't matter. | |
| This is what passes for truth these days. | |
| You know, it might be fake news, but it's accurately portraying my opinion. | |

| The book is fake. | |
| The sources are made up. | |
| But because the fantastical story that's being woven in this book links up with the leftist perception of reality, well, the news is fit to print. | |
| And it's even fit to bring up at White House press briefings, we want the president's response to these dubious claims. | |
| The White House has said there were false statements in this book. | |
| The president's lawyer has said there were libelous statements. | |

| Again, there are numerous mistakes, but I'm not going to waste my time or the country's time going page by page talking about a book that's complete fantasy and just full of tabloid gossip because it's sad, pathetic, and our administration and our focus is going to be on moving the country forward. | |

| Now, the 25th Amendment sets a very high bar. | |
| There isn't just some arbitrary language in it that just gives a sweeping generalization of what could lead a president to be involuntarily removed from office. | |
| The language there plainly states that the vice president and a majority of the cabinet could take such a step when the president is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. | |
| You cannot remove the president from office because you don't like his tweets. | |
| Now, Dr. Joe Scarborough would like the GOP to force Trump into a mental fitness exam. | |

| Last year was, you know, really pointing the finger at anyone who dared question Hillary Clinton's health. | |
