| We've just left the Stockdale, I guess, Community Center Courthouse slash City Hall where we had a press conference with Governor Abbott. | |
| They did not identify the shooter there at that press conference, interestingly enough, and it appears ABC identified the shooter at 5.03 p.m. | |
| today as Devin Patrick Kelly. | |
| And so he... | |
| Appears to be the man who went in. | |
| We did get an account of what he did. | |
| I'll repeat what the law enforcement official said. | |
| So he appears to be a godless person. | |
| I don't know what kind of person it would take to do an act of what he did to go into a church where people are praying and shoot them down. | |
| But that appears to be a consistent target of opportunity. | |
| Now we're going to try to go to where the shooter ultimately died. | |
| He was engaged by a neighbor with a gun who went after him with his rifle, apparently at least hit him once, and caused the suspect to flee, and then he later died of his injuries driving, made it about five miles out of town. | |
| But he crossed from the Valero, crossed over to the church, got out of his car, shot into the front of the church, walked around to the right side, shot into the church, then went inside. | |
| Shot a few more times and then came out. | |
| So they didn't give us an exact number of shots, but if you had, let's say, 27 dead and about 10 to 15 wounded, I think they dropped the number of wounded down a little bit, then you know he was at least running with two clips of 30 apiece, at least, at the very least. | |
| They say he was using a Ruger AR-15. | |
| He is a white man. | |
| Interestingly enough, I believe somebody associated with NPR wanted to know if he was affiliated with a militia group. | |
| I don't see anybody in their right mind from a militia group actually taking on this type of act. | |
| We've seen FBI-induced shooters go in and do things like this via through militia groups because they go into the militia group and get... | |

| There's I-10 about maybe 15 minutes to the north, 20 minutes to the north. | |
