Time Text
New details are coming to light in the case against Harvey Weinstein, Not only are we finding out that he was a serial sexual abuser for decades, but he was also helped along in his cover-up by some fellow big-bigs there in Hollywood, as well as the elite media like the New York Times.
Now it turns out three more women have come forward saying it went beyond sexual harassment, but that Harvey Weinstein actually raped them.
Three women came forward to tell this to Ronan Farrow there at The New Yorker.
Some audio has now emerged.
This was obtained in 2015 during a NYPD sting operation.
They were ready to arrest Harvey Weinstein all the way back in 2015. He was caught on tape admitting to groping a model.
The audio of this tape is really disturbing to listen to because you can hear how he pressures this woman to come in the room and how he's trying to silence her and how he uses his power saying, you know, you don't want to mess up your relationship with me.
You better come in this room.
You can just really see the bullying and the intimidation tactics that he used to take advantage of these girls who thought, hey, if I cross Harvey Weinstein, I'll never work in this town again.
And what we're finding out is that the New York Times was ready to...
to expose Harvey Weinstein way back in 2004 Sharon Waxman who's the founder of The Wrap writes that her own investigative reporting which took her on an international trip To uncover rumors of Weinstein's sexual misconduct was actually cut from the Times in 2004. Waxman says that she was called directly by Russell Crowe and Matt Damon,
who called her directly to dispel the reports that she was following about Miramax's Italian head, Fabrizio Lombardo, who was allegedly hired to take care of Weinstein's women needs.
So here you have these big-time Hollywood actors actually helping to cover up Harvey Weinstein's sexual abuse, the fact that they are now Calling Matt Damon out by name or Russell Crowe or these other big-time Hollywood bigwigs lets you know that this is just the beginning.
This is just the tip of this investigation of this scandal.
And that, man, that house of cards is really beginning to fall.
Now, Rose McGowan, who has all but outright said that she is one of his victims.
She's been dropping hints, but she must have signed an NDA, which requires that she not speak his name.
But she's actually come out saying Matt Damon is a spineless profiteer who stays silent.
And she's been calling on a lot of people there in Hollywood, men and women, to stand up and speak out and be allies.
And saying that this guy, you know, he remains silent while Harvey Weinstein is making him incredibly famous.
Rose McGowan, you were a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton.
I actually had to stop following you on social media because you just would not shut up about Hillary Clinton.
Why have you not tweeted out to Hillary Clinton?
This is a woman that had the audacity to tweet out way back in November of 2015 that every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.
Hillary Clinton, your silence is deafening when it comes to one of your biggest Democratic donors, Harvey Weinstein, and all of the disgusting accounts and stories that are coming out about him.
But again, Rose McGowan You haven't even called out Hillary Clinton on her hypocrisy because, of course, you were one of her most vocal proponents there during this last election.
A lot of people now are saying the Democrats are denouncing Weinstein, but Hillary Clinton and the Obamas have yet to say anything.
But Hillary Clinton does have time to announce her support of the anthem protests.
Wow, what a freaking hypocrite.
I'm with her, right?
I mean, even Meryl Streep has been able to backtrack.
She once called Harvey Weinstein a god.
But she actually was able to come around and say that he was disgraceful.
And then, of course, we have Donna Karan defending Harvey Weinstein, suggesting that women are asking for it by presenting all the sensuality and all the sexuality.
This is a woman who has spent several decades in the fashion industry.
She makes a living off of dressing 16, 15, 17-year-old girls up and putting them out there in a sexually provocative manner in the fashion industry.
So obviously that was a major league.
Hypocritical statement coming from Donna Karan.
I doubt she's even going to be working in the fashion industry for too much longer because people are sick of the hypocrisy.
But this is a really interesting time that we are witnessing when we are seeing Hollywood cash cows like Matt Damon allowed to be taking a hit and being called out in the media.
And so I truly believe the fact that the New York Times is also taking a hit, that they covered this up for more than a decade.
They killed this story, allowing others We are going to see that house of cards crumble and we're going to Find out just exactly what
media has been complicit in the cover-up, as well as what other Hollywood stars out there have been complicit in the cover-up of the raping and sexual abuse of children.
Not only women in the industry, but children as well.
So, interesting times here, folks.
And like they say, there's nothing long hidden under the sun.
In ancient times, man roamed the earth in a constant state of hunting or being hunted.
