| Today's an interesting day back home because the Congress passed the House Resolution 36, which is the law that would prohibit abortions after 20 weeks. | |
| It's called the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Law. | |
| And it's very interesting that this passed. | |
| I mean, think about it. | |
| They say that 90% of Americans are opposed to aborting children that come to the point, not just feeling pain, but maybe viable. | |
| And yet, of all the Democrats, the 178 Democrats in the Congress, all but two of them thought that they'd taken the life of an unborn child. | |
| After the point in time that they're able to feel pain or perhaps in being viable, they think that's a good idea. | |
| So if you're a member of the Democratic Party, you now have affiliated yourself with a party that has no problem with aborting children at any point up to the day of delivery. | |
| And I think as a Democrat, you need to understand where you are now coming from. | |
| Thank goodness that the Republicans, all but two by the way, understood that the American people consider abortion at a late date something that's abhorrent. | |
| We don't often get divides like this that really define who we are as humans. | |
| The Democratic Party has clearly defined itself as a vicious This uncivilized, barbaric group of people. | |
| You know, we all knew that Hillary and even Obama thought there was no problem with aborting children in the day they delivered. | |
| But if you're a Democrat, you own this now. | |
| It's wrapped around your neck. | |
| You know, and as a Christian, one day, I'm going to have some explaining to do. | |
| And I'm going to be able to tell my maker I stood for the lives of children that were unborn. | |
| Certainly past the point of viability. | |
| But you Democrats, you're going to have some serious explaining today. | |
| And I've got to tell you, the other problem now that has passed the House, thanks to the Republicans, is the Senate very well may not be taking up this bill. | |
| They may simply ignore it. | |
| And again, those Republicans, particularly the RINOs, the establishment Republicans, who want to avoid the topic of late-term abortion, They're going to have this wrapped around their neck, too. | |
| They're going to have some explaining to do with the American people. | |
| You know, in all of the Trump things that are going on, the greatest disappointment, of course, has been the United States Senate and their unwillingness to do the important work that we put them in office for, that we put all Houses and the President in office for. | |
| Let's see if the Republican Senate will take up this law that the House has passed. | |
| And do what's right, which is to have a reasonable protection against the unborn being harmed by something as barbaric as late-term abortion. | |
| So, Senate, I dare you to do your job. | |
| I dare you to face the American people in the next few weeks if you don't do your job and take up this incredibly important issue, protecting the life of a baby that comes to the point in pregnancy where they're viable. | |
| American people, hold your Republican senators accountable for this. | |
| We have got to pass this law that would protect these unborn children. | |
| If we're a civilized society, not even a Christian society, a civilized society, we're one of seven nations in the world that allow abortion after 20 weeks. | |
