Time Text
This is Michael Zimmerman reporting for Infowars.com.
We're at Buffalo Bayou here in Houston, Texas, right in the heart of downtown.
As you can see here, this is usually a park, but the bayou has come up probably 30-40 feet here, all the way up to the bridges.
Usually there's very little water running through this, and it only fills up when it floods, but it has risen to historic levels here.
And as you can see...
There's barricades blown over from this construction site here and barely any activity downtown other than at the convention center where there are people being brought to receive supplies, aid, things like that.
People who have been evacuated from their homes after the storm hit and after all this flooding began.
But as you can see, it is continuing to rain here in Houston.
The ground is already completely saturated and it's going to continue raining throughout the next few days.
So Hurricane Harvey has returned back to the Houston area to bring more wind and rain.
There's tornado advisories.
They've also said that this is a time where lots of trees are very likely to fall over because their root systems are completely saturated.
And there's very little support.
And with these high 20 to 40 mile an hour winds that we're expecting, we're only going to see more damage and devastation here.
But as you can see, This bayou cannot get any more full without flowing over this bridge here.
As you can see, it already has earlier in the past day or two, leaving debris there.
And actually, in this section over here, you can see it looks like it's sagging down or maybe it would be caving in.
That's always a hazard after these big storms.
The supports can be damaged on the bridge and you don't even see it before driving across it.
So all of this is a park here.
As you can see, those are pretty tall lights and the steps going down into it.
And it just continues to go down.
That's probably a 40-50 foot tall tree right there.
Right here.

President Trump is expected to come to Houston tomorrow.
