Special Reports & Tweets - Consensus - CNN Is Fake News Aired: 2017-06-07 Duration: 10:26 === Cnn's Propaganda Question Mark (08:07) === [00:00:00] Do you think that CNN is fake news? [00:00:02] Uh oh. [00:00:04] Millie Weaver reporting for Infowars.com. [00:00:12] Well, CNN was caught faking the news yet again. [00:00:15] They were caught staging fake peaceful protesters where a London terrorist attack had just happened. [00:00:22] So let's go ahead and ask some of these people in Austin whether or not they think that CNN is fake news. [00:00:30] Do you guys think that CNN is fake news? [00:00:35] No comment. [00:00:36] Do you think that CNN is fake news? [00:00:39] Sometimes. [00:00:40] Sometimes? [00:00:41] Do you think CNN is fake news? [00:00:45] I think that's obvious. [00:00:46] Probably not fake, but perhaps biased. [00:00:49] CNN? Sometimes. [00:00:51] What about you? [00:00:53] At points, I think it's definitely fake. [00:00:55] Do you think that a lot of it's propaganda? [00:00:59] I would say, yeah, definitely. [00:01:01] I try to stay away from the CNN and the full international news because I think it's all bleep, but... [00:01:07] I don't know about fake, but definitely that's not where I get my news from. [00:01:11] They're not very helpful. [00:01:12] Yeah. [00:01:13] So you don't think that they're the most trusted news source out there? [00:01:15] No. [00:01:16] No, not really. [00:01:17] Do you think that CNN is fake news? [00:01:20] Of course. [00:01:21] I always did. [00:01:22] I do, yes. [00:01:23] You do? [00:01:24] I do, yes. [00:01:25] Did you hear about... [00:01:25] Do you? [00:01:26] I do. [00:01:28] Yes, they are. [00:01:31] Do you think CNN has fake news? [00:01:34] Absolutely, yes. [00:01:35] Did you guys hear about them recently being caught staging fake protesters in London? [00:01:41] Which one? [00:01:42] For which time? [00:01:44] Saw that on Facebook, actually. [00:01:47] Did you hear about CNN recently getting caught staging news? [00:01:52] Nope. [00:01:53] Didn't hear about that. [00:01:54] Would that surprise you at all? [00:01:56] Not really. [00:01:57] No. [00:01:59] They were staging. [00:02:01] Yeah, I could see that. [00:02:03] That's pretty terrible. [00:02:04] I saw Alex report on that this morning. [00:02:06] So, yeah, that's pretty messed up. [00:02:09] That's crazy. [00:02:09] I thought it was real news. [00:02:12] I'm glad I didn't say that. [00:02:14] Well, do you think that they're putting out some propaganda? [00:02:19] I don't know. [00:02:20] Probably. [00:02:22] I mean, what do you think about that? [00:02:23] Journalists actually staging a fake group of protesters, handing them signs? [00:02:28] That's messed up, I think. [00:02:29] That's just to catch the attention, like, so people sway people's reactions, you know, on what's going to happen. [00:02:39] I haven't heard about that, but I wouldn't put it past them. [00:02:42] I know they did a lot of things that were... [00:02:44] I saw, for example, I live in California and the San Francisco Bay Area. [00:02:50] Where you had the Berkeley riots, there was a protester there in front of this store with all glass windows, and he had a mask on. [00:02:59] And so the reporter goes up to him with the cameras running and said, hey, you guys need to break that. [00:03:06] In essence, you could tell by his gestures, pointing behind him in the window, and basically egged him on to break the windows. [00:03:16] And that's what he started doing, breaking the windows out. [00:03:18] Wow. [00:03:19] For the sake of the protest. [00:03:20] So, yeah, yeah, they do those kind of things, in my opinion. [00:03:24] Do you think that journalists and reporters should have more integrity? [00:03:27] Absolutely. [00:03:28] I mean, they are the voice of America, right? [00:03:32] You would never trust anything you saw on CNN? It's kind of hard to get any sort of non-biased news nowadays, so no. [00:03:40] That seems to be mostly CNN. I'm not so sure about the other news outlets. [00:03:45] Do you think that CNN is propaganda? [00:03:49] I think they do do a lot of propaganda. [00:03:52] I wouldn't go so far as to call it propaganda. [00:03:55] More like, I guess they're staging for their side of the aisle. [00:04:02] Do you think that a lot of it is because they're just trying to get ratings? [00:04:05] Yeah, I think a lot of the mainstream media has an agenda and has a bias towards their own, I guess, people that they're trying to reach. [00:04:11] Yeah, I feel like people do it just for the fame. [00:04:15] Really? [00:04:16] Yeah, and to get the story. [00:04:17] What do you think? [00:04:19] I think there definitely needs to be more integrity. [00:04:21] I feel like it's been a lack almost forever and I feel like it probably won't change. [00:04:25] Do you think that the ethics in journalism nowadays needs to improve? [00:04:30] Do you think it's becoming a problem? [00:04:31] Absolutely, yes. [00:04:34] People look up to them as reporters and then they follow what they're doing or what their opinions are and I think that's messed up because that's not your own opinion just because. [00:04:47] Like you said, that they're staging stuff. [00:04:50] So that's messed up. [00:04:51] Really messed up. [00:04:52] Yeah, definitely. [00:04:53] And this was right after a terrorist attack happened in London. [00:04:56] So, I mean, people died. [00:04:58] Yeah, that's sad. [00:04:59] That's really sad to hear that they would do that. [00:05:02] Do you think that journalists should have more integrity? [00:05:05] I think we all should. [00:05:07] Absolutely. [00:05:08] I mean, if they don't have integrity, then how are average people like us supposed to know what's going on? [00:05:19] Yes, because they're doing a service to the community to inform the people on what the issues are, not what their opinion is. [00:05:32] You're going to ferret out the facts as best you see them and report them as best you see them impartially. [00:05:38] To me, that's what it should be about. [00:05:40] Where do you get your news from? [00:05:43] Honestly, Facebook. [00:05:44] Facebook's pretty up-to-date, which is pretty sad. [00:05:48] Just like from people posting articles that they've vetted out? [00:05:52] Yeah, I got some pretty political buddies out there, so they're always posting their thoughts on the World Wide Web, yeah. [00:05:59] What about you? [00:06:00] Probably the same, actually, surprisingly. [00:06:03] I don't blame you guys. [00:06:05] Where do you get your news? [00:06:07] Infowars.com. [00:06:08] Give you a little plugging away. [00:06:10] Are you guys from CNN? No. [00:06:12] Am I being set up here? [00:06:14] No, I'm not from CNN. Okay, who are you from? [00:06:17] Infowars. [00:06:18] Alex Jones, you rock, brother! [00:06:21] Yeah! [00:06:22] I was actually surprised with how many people believe that CNN is fake news and can't be trusted. [00:06:30] Well, not really. [00:06:33] We're about to have a short course in missile identification. [00:06:36] This is a SCUD. You can tell it by its distinctive label. [00:06:40] Now when the missile is launched, the first thing you look for is the plume sticking out behind it. [00:06:45] Now when you detect this, you can tell it's been launched. [00:06:49] I'm not gonna fall into the trap of us being the spinmeisters when CNN is one of the greatest purveyors of fake news. [00:07:10] Don, this is a fake news story, in my opinion, because the underlying assumption is that... [00:07:16] Okay, guys, thank you very much, everyone. [00:07:17] Thanks, everyone. [00:07:17] Thanks for watching. [00:07:18] Have a great weekend. [00:07:19] Good night, all. [00:07:19] Thanks, Don. [00:07:21] But I don't watch CNN, so I don't get to see you as much. [00:07:25] I don't like watching fake news. [00:07:27] Because of the attack of fake news and attacking our network, I just want to ask you, sir... [00:07:31] I'm changing it from fake news, though. [00:07:34] Very fakeness. [00:07:35] I know, but aren't you...
