Jeff Sessions Recuses Himself

Time Text
So Jeff Sessions just finished up his press conference where he is responding to the new allegations about him meeting with Russia and he has just recused himself, in fact, from any investigation into looking into the 2016 election and Trump and Russia and any communications or ties that may have happened there.
And what led to all this was in the confirmation of Sessions He said he had no communication with Russians during the campaign, and it turned out that a Russian ambassador had scheduled a meeting with Sessions' staff,
and there was, in fact, a meet-up, and, in fact, he recognized that he may have met the man, he may have not, he actually doesn't know for sure, obviously saying that this is kind of a thing that happens a lot, and saying that he may have, he may not have, he can't remember exactly, but he does know that he scheduled the meeting and some of his staff members met with this person.
The bigger story here is not just that Sessions willingly recused himself, and rightfully so, but that let's look at the course of events here.
So Trump delivers a monstrous speech that rocks the Congress, rocks the United States, and then you have the stocks surging.
Trump's approval rating is surging.
Everything is heading in the right direction for Trump and his administration.
So the Democrats needed to throw a cog in here.
They had to stop this momentum.
And this Jeff Sessions recusal that they forced is what they did to do that.
Now apparently, we're going to have more develop on this obviously, but Sessions is very open about asking questions, being asked questions.
He answered a couple after the press conference.
So I would imagine he's going to be very open about all the information in this.
He's kind of taking it very lightheartedly.
But it's funny because this is what the Democrats do to try to stop the momentum from Donald Trump.
And apparently they've been holding this intel.
They've been waiting for the right time to release this.
Apparently.
That's the rumor.
And it would make sense that now they would want to release that.
But it's perfect because...
Sessions, essentially, all he has to do is say, go ahead.
Do any investigation you want.
You've been investigating.
You haven't found anything.
Continue to investigate.
Obviously you've been investigating because somehow you found out that this meeting happened.
So they've already done the investigation.
They've got all the intel they can possibly get, folks.
They're just whatever little tidbits of information they get, they release in a timely fashion to try to stop the momentum of the Trump campaign.
So Jeff Sessions, again, comes out lightheartedly.
He's smiling during this PREF conference like, yeah, okay.
It turns out my staff did meet with them.
I may have met the man, and I'm recusing myself from any and all investigation.
But he said this doesn't mean that there's anything to be found.
He's not admitting to any guilt.
He's saying that any thoughts or notions that he was meeting consistently with Russia to talk about the campaign is absurd.
So go ahead and do your investigation.
But we already know it, okay?
They've done the investigation, folks.
How do you think they got this intel?
The media and the establishment has been looking for anything and everything that they could possibly find to use as far as a claim that Russia is influencing our elections or influencing American society or influencing Donald Trump.
With absolutely no evidence whatsoever.
And then there's an added level of this.
Think about how long the confirmation process has been.
Think about how the Democrats have made it impossible for Trump to get his cabinet in.
So they sit here.
They ask Sessions days worth of questions so that they can hopefully find one thing, one little slip-up.
And they found it.
And they got their wish.
And congratulations.
He's now recused himself.
But guess what?
He's still the Attorney General.
And they still have no evidence that Russia is influencing Trump.
So, Sessions has recused himself from any investigations that may happen.
He's not admitting any guilt, but they're going to continue to investigate.
They're going to continue to prop up this Russia thing.
Chuck Schumer, George Bush, they're all doing it now.
No proof.
Nothing.
Now we know who the real fake news is and who's not.
Anybody out there pushing this Russia thing still is clearly either fake news or propaganda intentionally.
