Raising Awareness in Houston
00:03:09
|
|
| We're out here in Houston, Texas for the Super Bowl, and there is an awareness group all about autism awareness. | |
| Tell me, how are you guys bringing awareness to autism today? | |
| Nah, I can't do it. | |
| What? | |
| Oh, come on, man. | |
| Point me to your leader. | |
| Come on. | |
| Yeah, take me, take me, take me. | |
| Hey, I'm looking to talk to someone about the autism awareness. | |
| Okay, sure, sure, sure. | |
| I'm like the co-manager. | |
| Cool, so I actually like it. | |
| I was just curious how you guys are kind of raising awareness, what your guys' strategy is out here. | |
| Okay, really our strategy is to come out here five days a week and sell water and Gatorade. | |
| The water is like $2 and the Gatorade is $3. | |
| We're fun and ready to try to put him in a better school because his name is Joshua. | |
| He's seven years old. | |
| He doesn't know sign language. | |
| He's hearing in Paris. | |
| So we're just trying to put him in a better school. | |
| So we come out here every, every, every day. | |
| So this is something you guys have been doing even outside of the Super Bowl? | |
| Yeah! | |
| Yes, of course. | |
| We've been to Galleria. | |
| We've been to 288 Bailway. | |
| We've been to Trade Day to head downtown. | |
| We was at a lot of events. | |
| We was at the Bad Boys event. | |
| We go to a lot of places to try to get us seen. | |
| Tell me about Josh. | |
| Okay, Joshua, he's a seven-year-old. | |
| He has autism. | |
| He doesn't know no sign language. | |
| He still urinates on himself. | |
| So basically what we're doing is just trying to put him in a better school. | |
| He's very active. | |
| He loves sports and he likes the rain. | |
| Going beyond Josh, is there anything you guys are doing to raise awareness? | |
| Yes, yes. | |
| Like I was saying, we was on 21 Century, and my boss man, my co-owner that's over me, which his name is R.J. Perkinson, basically what we're trying to do, he had us in different stations. | |
| I'm in on Century 21, trying to get... | |
| We help homeless. | |
| We help the homeless out, you know, to come in here, like, with housing or help them put them in, like, a hotel or with hygiene. | |
| You know, we don't put the money directly in their hands because we don't know what they're going to do with it, you know. | |
| Okay. | |
| So it's more of a program to help them. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Actually, we're having more than one thing. | |
| We're having autism. | |
| We have the homeless. | |
| And we're having everybody just to be established by it, you know, because a lot of kids come out with autism. | |
| Is there a website or something where people can see all your work? | |
| So she's here raising awareness for autism? | |
| Yes. | |
| Out here selling drinks? | |
|
Vaccines and Autism Concerns
00:03:12
|
|
| Yes, selling water and Gatorade. | |
| We do not do nothing that's unhealthy. | |
| Like sodas, we don't do that. | |
| Oh, that's good. | |
| Coffee, we don't do that. | |
| We do something that's unhealthy, like flavor water, regular water, and Gatorade. | |
| And Josh, I guess, is kind of what spurred you guys to start this movement out here. | |
| Yes, yes. | |
| And also, I have an autistic brother, so it just really just touched my heart. | |
| And Josh is very related to me, so I just did it out of the count of my heart. | |
| I love it. | |
| I love meeting different people, and they're great. | |
| Hey, they're people just like you and me, too, right? | |
| Right, exactly. | |
| So let me ask you a question. | |
| They're actually smarter. | |
| This is actually kind of getting a little more emotional, maybe. | |
| What do you think... | |
| You know, autism is something that's becoming more of an issue. | |
| The percentages keep going up. | |
| Yeah. | |
| What are you guys... | |
| Have you guys maybe said what you think is causing autism? | |
| Or do you think you can find the root of the issue? | |
| Have you done anything with that? | |
| That's the thing. | |
| It's not really causing autism. | |
| It's just really just... | |
| It's about the gene. | |
| It just happens sometimes. | |
| Some kids, they come out, they're better than they. | |
| Some kids can't hear. | |
| So it's just a natural born thing. | |
| Like they say, I think it's like 50% of kids are born with autism. | |
| They're better than they and all that. | |
| Well, I will say this, and obviously this is my opinion, but I think I actually personally think that the vaccines, are responsible for a lot of the autism. | |
| And if you look at the autism rates and the way they're going up, it's the exact same plane that our vaccines are going up. | |
| So it's like more vaccines, more autism. | |
| Yeah, it's the vaccine shots as well. | |
| And now they even put it on the inserts. | |
| They say this could give you autism. | |
| It's also prenatal pills as well. | |
| Some prenatal pills are not very healthy for some, you know, some body, some function. | |
| So it's the vaccine. | |
| It's also the medicine that you take while you're pregnant. | |
| Oh, okay. | |
| So you think it also has a lot to do with maybe when they're in utero? | |
| Yes, exactly. | |
| Interesting. | |
| And maybe if the mother takes a flu shot or something. | |
| Exactly. | |
| A lot of women have a different size. | |
| Thanks to every medicine. | |
| So when they have their child, it can be for vaccines, it can be for the platypill, or the medicine that they give them while they're respected. | |
| Alright, so I'll just give you a final statement. | |
| What would you like to say about it? | |
| Okay, I do have something to say. | |
| Y'all will see us out here at Saving Josh Autism. | |
| He's a seven-year-old. | |
| We be everywhere. | |
| Look us up on Facebook, Saving Josh Autism. | |
| And we also have a GoFundMe account, okay? | |
| Plug it. | |
| Yeah, so just check us out. | |
| Thank you for the support. | |
| Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. | |
| This is Owen Troyer for Infowars.com, raising autism awareness. | |
| These people are out on the streets. | |
| They're putting in the good work. | |
| Yes, and his name, Joshua Ferguson. | |
| Their name is RJ Ferguson. | |
| That's awesome. | |
| Yeah, we actually, I'm with Infowars, and we've been trying to bring a lot of awareness to this as well. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Because we think that... | |
| Me personally, I don't think that you should be forced to take a vaccine. | |
|
Feel Worse, Feel Love
00:00:36
|
|
| Exactly. | |
| I'm not against the science. | |
| It's the options. | |
| If there's a choice. | |
| Exactly. | |
| You should be... | |
| A lot of vaccines, like when they say when it's flu season, you want to take a flu shot. | |
| I say hell no. | |
| Exactly. | |
| Keep me away from that. | |
| Because when you take the flu shot, you feel worse. | |
| You feel more sick. | |
| It's more vulnerable that you get sicker. | |
| Well, you've got the power of God out here. | |
| I can feel it out here. | |
| I do. | |
| I love my job. | |
| I love meeting the people. | |
| And I like doing it for a good cause. | |
| And tell the people one more time where they can find your movement for Josh. | |
| Right here in Houston, Texas, sweetheart. | |
| Thank you so much. | |
