LeAnne McEnter reporting for Infowars.com.
I'm here in St. Louis, Missouri, getting ready for our day.
And I see this headline in USA Today, breakaway blimp goes AWOL for a joyride.
Now, this would be pretty funny if this particular blimp...
When it's actually on duty, serves as a key component of domestic air defense.
It's part of a $2.7 billion surveillance system designed to detect cruise missiles, rockets, drones, and other weapons that could be used to attack key targets in the United States.
Now, everyone was entirely helpless for hours watching this blimp, size of a football field, just fly over the skies there in D.C. They had to wait until it was Pretty much deflated and started to come down before they could have a team of, you know, team members hauling it back to its place.
Now the tether that it's on is made to withstand 100 mph winds and it's that particular tether that sends the data via optic cables.
So it sends all the data, right?
And so this breaks off from the processing station and just goes on this joyride.
This is the perfect metaphor.
For our government saying that they are going to take care of us.
Go ahead and upload all of your private data into our Obamacare, healthcare.gov.
We'll go ahead and take care of it.
Forget about that hack that took all of that data, one of the largest breaches in government's history.
It's perfectly fine.
They're going to take care of your data.
It's perfectly fine, the EPA tells the people here in St. Louis.
Go ahead and drink the water.
We promise that the water treatment facility is going to take that...
Those...
Get nuclear particulates out of your water, which that thorium you cannot pull out of the water.
It's a lie.
Just like when we go to the TSA and they tell us that they are going to protect us from terrorists by making us take off our shoes and empty out any jellies and souvenirs that we have in our bags.
That's going to stop the terrorism.
It's all security theater.
It's all contrived.
And this floating blimp is the perfect metaphor for what a joke our government is because it's just like that.
It is full of hype.
