[00:00:34] Now, with that in mind, on our recent trip to Ferguson, Missouri, myself and Joe Biggs had a chance to meet a man who said that he had previously worked in law enforcement and had information about terror attacks that had been largely ignored. [00:00:46] Now, he didn't have any physical evidence, but here's his story, and you can hear it for yourself. [00:00:51] My name is John Griggs. [00:00:53] I'm 29 years old. [00:00:54] I've been in law enforcement since the day I turned 21. [00:00:57] I swore in in Paducah, Kentucky as a deputy and I came to Missouri in 2012 after my home burned down and started a career here. [00:01:10] I was the gang task force officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections and I was assigned to Pacific, Missouri. [00:01:19] And my job was to investigate, validate, And marginally disrupt organized crime within the institutions. [00:01:30] In February of 2014, I came across several documents where an offender within the Missouri Department of Corrections was teaching others how to build improvised explosive devices. [00:01:46] I'm not going to say everything about that for confidentiality purposes, but what I will say Is that I was told to disregard a known terrorist. [00:01:58] Um, I did not. [00:02:00] I contacted someone and they led me to the St. [00:02:03] Louis County Intelligence Unit where I had handed over the instructions for the improvised explosive devices and an address book with 60 suspected names in it. [00:02:18] I was told to give it back to the offender and leave it alone. [00:02:20] Because my captain was not going to get sued by a Muslim. [00:02:24] I did not. [00:02:25] I lost my job. [00:02:27] On June the 28th of 2014, I was attacked by two offenders carrying a 7-inch knife. [00:02:35] One offender tried to grab me and put the knife right here in my side and kill me. [00:02:39] Right here in my ribs. [00:02:41] I have the weapon. [00:02:42] I recovered it. [00:02:43] I took my handcuffs and I restrained the offenders. [00:02:47] I used the least amount of force necessary. [00:02:49] I was written up for excessive use of force, and I said I knew I'd be okay after the incident was over. [00:02:59] I told my lieutenant I needed to smoke a cigarette. [00:03:02] I said, but I knew I'd be fine. [00:03:04] During the debriefing for the use of force, my lieutenant then asked me, how did you know you'd be okay? [00:03:08] And I said, because Jesus Christ walks with me, and I firmly believe that. [00:03:12] I was immediately, immediately, They took my badge, they took my weapon, and they made me take a mental evaluation. [00:03:20] For one month I was on administrative leave for mentioning Christ Jesus. [00:03:24] For one month. [00:03:26] Then I was discharged. [00:03:27] When I passed the mental evaluation I wasn't supposed to pass, I came back and I was fired and I was criminally charged for theft of property by the Inspector General and then it was immediately dismissed because St. [00:03:40] Louis County Intelligence Unit had every document I handed over to them.
