Time Text
Joe Biggs here with Infowars.com.
Now, I'm standing right outside of the Fox Lake Police Department where earlier today there was a press conference where they were talking about what they knew so far in the case, which really wasn't that much.
There's really no detailed description of the suspects at this time other than there's three individuals, two being white, one being a black male.
That's all we knew earlier this morning.
Now, throughout the day, I have been out in the neighborhoods, driving up and down the roads, trying to find leads, chase leads, talk to people, see what I could do.
I actually came across the area where Lieutenant Glinovich was shot and killed.
And then from across that area, I found a neighborhood and I started seeing police and more police and more police start to grow through over the day.
So I put up a couple videos showing you that.
I saw marshals, I saw ATF, I saw local police, and I saw some special units within the police department who were actually out going around home to home looking for suspects and trying to gain intel.
Now as I was out there in one of the neighborhoods a lady came out on her cell phone and she ran up said she had information for the police She spoke to one of the the u.s.
Marshals And at that time you could see them take the phone down They had this look on their face and then they started walking away Well as they walked away the lady lagged behind and I said ma'am, what'd you just tell the police?
She goes well, my friend works at the dollar general right up the road And she said she overheard a couple girls saying that they knew who Killed the police officer So I said, "Well, where was that at?" She says, the Dollar General is about a mile and a half up the road.
It's right close to where the vigil is going to be.
So I got in my vehicle and drove out there.
And I was there before the police were because they had a further way to walk than I did.
I got up to the Dollar General and there was a lady outside still on the cell phone.
And I said, hey, do you have any information about the girls who said they knew?
And she looked at me and she got really scared.
She goes, wait, how do you know about that?
And I said, well, I spoke to the lady who you're talking to right now on the other end.
In her neighborhood, and she told me that you had information on this.
And she goes, oh, I can't do anything.
She says, once I talked to the cops, they told me not to talk to anybody.
She got really scared.
She said she wanted nothing to do with this.
And during that time, I had this live on Periscope, so we're going to try to get that footage out as well.
But she seemed very scared, a little odd, I guess you could say, or a little worried that the journalist showed up before the police did.
And that's really, at the end of the day, that's, you know...
A lesson in journalism.
As you can see back here, you saw earlier, there's tons of media vehicles.
All they've done is been staged there all day waiting on the police department to print out a piece of paper and tell them what to tell the public.
Meanwhile, myself and another photojournalist out here have been driving around through the neighborhoods trying to follow leads, talking to people, see what kind of information we could find out about what was going on.
So stay tuned for more reports.
We'll keep you updated as things happen.
