| Now, Jakari Jackson and I are back in Ferguson, Missouri. | |
| We're on South Florissant Avenue, standing right across from the fire station and police department. | |
| This was a hot spot last November, right when the no indictment came out for Officer Darren Wilson and the shooting of Michael Brown. | |
| Now, things have started to heat up again as the one-year anniversary of Michael Brown's death has come, too. | |
| So, as you can see, I'm standing on the road now right over here. | |
| Is a set of buildings that have different businesses in there. | |
| Small businesses owned by a lot of the people in the black community. | |
| And one of the reasons people out here are so interested in us is because we had Oath Keepers with us last night. | |
| The Oath Keepers were not hired. | |
| We never gave them any kind of money. | |
| No currency was exchanged. | |
| Zero hiring. | |
| These guys offered their help to come out and watch our six while we came out here and reported on what was happening in the city of Ferguson. | |
| Now, like I said, over here you have these businesses. | |
| Now, last November, Oath Keepers stood on top of those roofs and helped protect those businesses from looters, from rioters, so the people in Ferguson can enjoy going to a bakery again. | |
| So people in Ferguson can go and enjoy these businesses that are out here because what's going to happen when all these outsiders start to come in and burn this place down? | |
| Business owners are not going to want to rebuild. | |
| They're not going to want to keep that here because they know that's going to be a loss for them. | |
| So Oath Keepers come out and they help protect these places so they can continue to thrive and continue to help support the citizens of Ferguson. | |
| So we're out here documenting what's going on. | |
